The FBI Is Not Your Friend

One of the unfortunate ironies of the manufactured “Russiagate” controversy is the perception of the FBI as a friend of liberty and justice. But the FBI has never been a friend of liberty and justice. Rather, as James Bovard writes, it “has a long record of both deceit and incompetence. Five years ago, Americans learned that the FBI was teaching its agents that ‘the FBI has the ability to bend or suspend the law to impinge on the freedom of others.’ This has practically been the Bureau’s motif since its creation in 1908…. The FBI has always used its ‘good guy’ image to keep a lid on its crimes.”

Bovard has made a vocation of cataloging the FBI’s many offenses against liberty and justice, for which we are forever in his debt.

Mueller "Improperly" Obtained "Tens of Thousands" Of Trump Transition Emails

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has taken possession of "many tens of thousands" of emails from the Trump transition team, obtained through the General Services Administration - the government agency responsible for hosting the transition email system which used a "ptt.gov" address, and which according to a Trump lawyer were improperly obtained through "unlawful conduct."

The trove of documents, which includes sensitive emails to and from Trump son-in-law and top advisor Jared Kushner, comprise 12 email accounts - one of which reportedly contains around 7,000 emails. Mueller's team has reportedly been using the emails as the basis for witness interviews, sources tell Axios.

Debunking The Myths About An Attack On North Korea

Trump and Haley are still at it. They want to force China to take action against the DPRK by threatening to take North Korea “into their hands” if China refuses to comply. Haley said, “But to be clear, China can do more, (…) and we’re putting as much pressure on them as we can. The last time they completely cut off the oil, North Korea came to the table. And so we’ve told China they’ve got to do more. If they don’t do more, we’re going to take it into our own hands and then we’ll start to deal with secondary sanctions.”

First, let’s reset this scene in a kindergarten and replay it.

Sessions Balks At Second Special Counsel: Says Recent FBI Bombshell May Have "Innocent Explanation"

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has once again balked at questions over the need for a second special counsel to investigate the Justice Department, telling reporters at a Friday press conference that while he's concerned about recent allegations of bias within the FBI, "sometimes things that might appear to be bad in the press have more innocent explanations, so fairness and justice should also be provided to our personnel."

Last week Sessions responded to mounting pressure to launch a second special counsel, stating "I've put a Senior Attorney, with the resources he may need, to review cases in our office and make a recommendation to me, if things aren't being pursued that need to be pursued, if cases may need more resources to complete in a proper manner, and to recommend to me if the standards for a special counsel are met."

Liberals Take Aim At White People Again As Soros-Funded Panel Attacks The Very Idea Of White Womanhood

Another day, another piece of news pointing to the now strikingly obvious fact that the hard-left is attempting to further divide the country along racial lines while painting anyone that disagrees with their liberal views as racist.

Appearing on the Sirius XM Progress Channel’s Make It Plain, three organizers of the anti-Trump “Women’s March” spoke about the need to confront white womanhood itself while attacking any white person who didn’t vote for anti-gun Democrat Doug Jones in the recent Alabama Senate election.

“More white women voted percentage wise for Roy Moore than did for Donald Trump,” the panel’s host breathlessly claims. “So this is why this is such an urgent conversation, such an urgent panel to have quite frankly.”

As Infowars.com noted, “The panel largely centered around making white women feel guilty for their alleged complicity in upholding white supremacy.”

Ludwig Watzal –  Disinformation Agent

For the last few days, a few agents within our ranks together with the entire German Zionist media have waged a vile defamation campaign against me in a desperate attempt to portray me as an ‘anti-Semite’ and a ‘holocaust denier.’ The Die Welt and similar outlets made no attempt to substantiate their claims. The German news outlets didn’t even attempt to actually refer to my work. Two nights ago in Berlin, at the NRhZ humanitarian award ceremony, I delivered a public statement that addressed these insane accusations. My videoed statement is due to appear shortly. I intend to take all necessary measures to combat this fake news Blitz Krieg.

Since Ludwig Watzal, a supposed ‘Palestinian supporter,’ claims to have found the ‘evidence’ of my ‘anti-Semitism,’ let’s spend a few minutes digging into Watzal’s duplicity.

Nasrallah: Trump! We are determined to liberate Jerusalem and all of Palestine

Against the decision of Trump, the least degree of faith here would be that the Palestinian Authority, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation who will meet in Istanbul in two days decree the end of the peace process. The Arab peace initiative should no longer be on the table. They have to tell the Americans: “It’s over. There is nothing left on the table. If you cancel this decision, we will come back to discuss around the table.” Even at the political and tactical levels, it is a strong, influential and effective logic, though of course we do not believe for a moment in the efficiency or the legitimacy of the way of negotiations.

Imran Hossein: Part of the Torah has been forged to justify Israel's expansion

Someone rewrote the Torah to declare that the Holy Land extends from the River of Egypt (i.e., the Nile) to the River Euphrates. This is false! Nab? Ibrah?m (‘alaihi al-Sal?m) had to migrate from Babylon and travel a long distance in order to reach the Holy Land.

Yet Babylon was most certainly within the land falsely designated in the Torah as the Holy Land. Nab? M?sa (‘alaihi al-Sal?m) also died in Sinai without ever having entered the Holy Land. And so, Sinai is not a part of the Holy Land. Yet Sinai is most certainly within the land falsely designated in the Torah as the Holy Land.

Ukraine complains about Russia at wrong UN meeting

Member of State Duma Committee for International Affairs Sergei Zheleznyak is not surprised at the words of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin who, during a speech at the UN Security Council, said that Russia violates the guarantees of the Budapest Memorandum.

"I'm not surprised that Klimkin decided to utter another Ukrainian "offense" to Russia when the UN Security Council was discussing the problems of the Korean settlement," Zheleznyak said.

According to him, it is "illiterate rudeness" that is the only trump card of Kiev's foreign and domestic policy. "Poroshenko and Klimkin are ready for any awkward farce in the hope of pity and handouts of Western sponsors."

Leader of right-wing France’s National Front party Marine Le Pen urged the European anti-immigration parties at the conference in Prague to “liberate the European nations from the chains of the European Union” and said that the bloc has entered a period of decline.

Earlier in the day, the conference of anti-immigration parties of Europe took place in the Czech capital and was attended by Le Pen, leader of the right-wing Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) Geert Wilders, member of the EU parliament Lorenzo Fontana from Italy’s Lega Nord, among others.

‘EU is killing Europe’: Far-right leaders call for end to ‘disastrous’ union

The European Union is a “disaster” and a “danger” for Europe that has no place in its future, leaders of far-right European parties said at a gathering in Prague. They also vowed to develop cooperation outside the EU structures.

“Because we love Europe, we accuse the EU of killing Europe,” the leader of the French National Front, Marine Le Pen, told reporters at congress of European right-wing parties in the Czech capital, Prague. She also advocated the establishment of a new sort of union, which she defined as a “Europe of sovereign nations.”

“We are not xenophobes, we are opponents of the European Union,” she said. “I think this is something we have in common, because the European Union is a disastrous organization which is leading our continent to destruction through dilution by drowning it in migrants, by the negation of our respective countries, by the draining of our diversity.”

Why the documentary must not be allowed to die

I first understood the power of the documentary during the editing of my first film, The Quiet Mutiny.

In the commentary, I make reference to a chicken, which my crew and I encountered while on patrol with American soldiers in Vietnam. “It must be a Vietcong chicken – a communist chicken,” said the sergeant. He wrote in his report: “enemy sighted.”

The chicken moment seemed to underline the farce of the war – so I included it in the film. That may have been unwise.

The regulator of commercial television in Britain – then the Independent Television Authority or ITA – had demanded to see my script.

What was my source for the political affiliation of the chicken? I was asked. Was it really a communist chicken, or could it have been a pro-American chicken?

Chancellor signals UK plans to kowtow to Brussels over Brexit transition

In what eurosceptics are likely to see as a capitulation to EU, the Chancellor signalled the UK would not haggle over the transition deal, which he said will “effectively replicate the current status quo”.

EU leaders have insisted the UK must agree on its relationship with the bloc during the 2019 to 2021 adjustment period before discussions on trade can begin.

Mr Hammond’s comments come just hours after prominent Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg warned the UK would be “very unwise” to agree to transition terms proposed by Brussels, which he said would see Britain become “a colony of the EU” for at least two years.

Trump plan to move U.S. embassy to al-Quds angers Middle East Christians

“Our oppressors have decided to deprive us from the joy of Christmas,” Patriarch Michel Sabbah, the former archbishop and Latin patriarch of Jerusalem (al-Quds), told the crowd in the town of Beit Sahour in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. “Mr. Trump told us clearly "Jerusalem" (al-Quds) is not yours.”

The Trump administration’s decision to recognize al-Quds (Jerusalem) as Israel’s capital and move the U.S. Embassy there has provoked widespread opposition among Christians across the Middle East. When Vice President Pence arrives next week on a trip touted as a chance to check on the region’s persecuted Christians, he will be facing an awkward backlash.

Nikki Haley Is Not Good At Foreign Policy

Nikki Haley is not good at foreign policy. With few discernible achievements to speak of after one year as America’s envoy to the UN, her most noteworthy moments have been two incoherent diatribes on Iran. The first–an airing of grievances passed off as justification for killing the Iran nuclear deal–came and went with little fanfare. Yesterday, she doubled down with a speech trying to make the case that Iran is, among other things, supplying Houthis in Yemen with ballistic missiles and “fanning the flames of conflict in the region.” There are a variety of problems with Haley’s assertions. Three in particular stand out.

Dangerous Phase of Terrorism: Trump’s Israeli Connections Proved

Editor’s note: From time to time I meet with counter-terrorism officials, Americans and others. Many are dedicated but misguided, with no real understanding of the players, the history or the dynamic.

This is a vital read, one that very efficiently sets the record straight. Send this around, ask those who read it, and we mean political and military leaders, how they might at some point actually incorporate reality into their programs of national defense.

Behind what is written is a backstory, one that explains the willful ignorance or America’s Department of Homeland Security and Pentagon. It is time issues of treason enter the discussion…Gordon Duff ]

Modern history of terrorism shows that it has gone through distinct phases, with shifting missions, messages, and means of mobilizing. But, owing to the US President Donald Trump’s Israeli connections, terrorism has entered the dangerous phase.

Decision Time on Iran

President Trump faces a Middle East reckoning in 2018.

(*THE NATIONAL REVIEW) Very soon, President Trump will have to decide whether America should remain a bystander to Iranian expansionism or take steps to confront this menace to international security and sponsor of global terrorism.

In October, when the president failed to certify Iranian compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a.k.a. the Iran nuclear deal, he began a process that is almost certain to force him to make controversial decisions in the coming months.

Congress has had 60 days to propose measures that would <<punish>> Iran for its misbehavior and strengthen the JCPOA. It has not done so.>>>

Can the President Obstruct Justice?

***
Trump’s personal lawyer, John M. Dowd, and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz denied last week that a president could ever commit obstruction of justice in the exercise of his constitutional authorities. While Dowd bluntly argued that a president “cannot obstruct justice because he is the chief law enforcement officer,” Dershowitz espoused a more nuanced view: “A president can be charged with obstruction if he commits criminal acts beyond his constitutionally authorized acts.”

U.S. arms sold to Saudis are killing civilians in Yemen

U.S. arms sold to Saudis are killing civilians in Yemen. Now the Trump administration is set to sell them more
***
The attack, one of the deadliest for civilians in the coalition’s relentless air war against Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen, helped persuade the Obama administration in December to block the sale of precision-guided munitions to the Saudi military until it addresses problems with its targeting.

But the hold was lifted last month, when President Trump announced a $110-billion package of proposed military sales to the kingdom, part of an effort to shore up a regional alliance against a resurgent Iran. The decision has left many among Yemen’s increasingly desperate population feeling abandoned and betrayed.
