The case is already sidetracked by a legal dispute over Moussaoui's access to another al-Qaida member, alleged Sept. 11 organizer Ramzi Binalshibh.
The judge granted a defense request seven months ago to question Binalshibh, but the government is refusing to let the questioning go forward.
A federal appeals court dismissed a government appeal of the judge's ruling on Binalshibh as premature but last month prosecutors declared they would defy the judge's order, setting the stage for Brinkema to impose sanctions that could be as severe as dismissing the case.
The Justice Department could then appeal again.
The government says that national security issues are at stake regarding any questioning by Moussaoui of Binalshibh and that the government's interrogation of Binalshibh should not be interrupted.

WorldNetDaily: FAA special agent blows whistle on FBI-TWA Flight 800...
Jack Cashill's latest report reveals that a whistle-blower has come forward to confirm yet again that witnesses saw a missile rise up out of the US Navy's testing area to kill TWA 800. However, Cashill's agenda is to protect the US Navy by claiming that the missile, launched from the middle of an ongoing live-fire US Navy test of an anti-missile system, was fired by terrorists, rather than the Navy itself. Cashill seems to feel that terrorists are clever enough to get a large missile in past US customs and security (TWA 800 was to high for a man portable missile to reach) yet dumb enough to sail right into the middle of a fleet of US Navy ship to stage the attack, rather than
launch from further west, away from the US Navy ships, and where the departure path would have brought the target lower down and within range of smaller missiles. Worse, Cashill seems to feel that the entire US Navy is a hopeless bunch of goofballs, because AFTER
Cashill's mythical terrorists fired off a missile from the middle of the US Navy test of an anti-missile system, killing the 747, the US Navy apparently did not notice
that a missile had been fired from the middle of their anti-missile system test, did not give chase to the supposed terrorists, did not call for
additional assets to be deployed from the shore to help locate and apprehend the terrorists. Ships and planes converged on the crash site, but nobody went looking for any terrorists at the bottom
of that smoke trail that hundreds of people on shore could clearly see. Finally, Cashill seems unable and unwilling to explain why the NTSB and FBI would
work do hard to protect those terrorists. For every other terrorist event that occurred during the Clinton years, Clinton was hot and bothered to milk them for all possible
political gain. He joked with reporters on Air Force One that the OK City bombing was the best thing that happened for his anti-terror agenda. So, if TWA 800 was
a terrorist attack, and ignoring for a moment that the US Navy did not react as if it were a terrorist attack, why didn't Clinton milk it the way he did OK City, the Olympic
Park bombing, and so forth? Both the NTSB and FBI were caught in court falsifying test results. The NTSB and FBI protecting terrorists? That's quite a reach
for people who insist that the FBI and NTSB would not lie even to protect the President! But here comes Cashill, right when Bush is trying to re-ignite
his war for the oil, to claim that terrorists shot down TWA 800 and sailed blithely away, while the Navy just sat there not giving chase, with the FBI and NTSB working overtime to
lie to the American people to protect the terrorists, under a President who normally would shamelessly exploit any and all terror events to
advance his political agenda. Sure, Jack. Tell us another one. - M. R.

In celebration of the working person's holiday, Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao has announced the Bush Administration's plan to end the 60-year-old law which requires employers to pay time-and-a-half for overtime.
I'm sure you already knew that -- if you happened to have run across page 15,576 of the Federal Register.
My favorite of Chao's little amendments would re-classify as "exempt professionals" anyone who learned their skill in the military. In other words, thousands of veterans will now lose overtime pay. I just can't understand why Bush didn't announce that one when he landed on the aircraft carrier.
At home with Hitler...
It is easy to look back and see what a total jerk Hitler was. But what most people forget is that at the time, he seemed to make sense. He was voted into office. He was supported by religious groups who expected that Hitler would favor their religion over others. ONly after the fall of Germany did the German people finally realize that they had been swindled, and would have been wiser to have listened to the "White Rose" and others who tried to warn them what was happening to their nation. - M. After the Egyptian revolution of 1952, relations between the U.S. and
the new Gamal Abdel Nasser government steadily improved. Cultural and
economic agreements between Egypt and other Arab states and the U.S.
were being discussed, and it was sincerely hoped that the U.S. would aid
the projected Aswan Dam development program. By 1954 American Ambassador
Henry Byroade's personal friendship with Nasser seemed likely to produce
results. A U.S. aid program of $50 million had been started.
The situation was viewed in high Israeli quarters as a grave threat to
the continued flow of American dollars into Israel from public, if not
private, sources.
A direct severance of relations between Egypt and the U.S. was deemed
desirable. An Israeli espionage ring was sent to Egypt to bomb official
U.S. offices and, if necessary, attack American personnel working there
so as to destroy Egyptian-U.S. relations and eventually Arab-U.S. ties.

The neocons--a powerful group at the heart of the Bush Administration--wanted war against Iraq and pressed for it with great determination, overriding and intimidating all those who expressed doubts, advised caution, urged the need for allies and for UN legitimacy, or recommended sticking with the well-tried cold war instruments of containment and deterrence. War it had to be, the neocons said, to deal with the imminent threat from Saddam's fearsome weapons, which, as Tony Blair was rash enough to claim in his tragicomic role as Bush's "poodle," could be fired within forty-five minutes of a launch order. This flight of blood-curdling rhetoric has now come home to haunt him, earning him a headline (in The Economist, no less) of "Prime Minister Bliar."

Why is it that anyone who opposes the state of Israel’s occupation and brutalization of the Palestinians is branded an anti-Semite? Israel is no different from any other state, be it Muslim, Christian, or secular. Our objections to Israel are not based upon the makeup of its citizenry, but upon its actions as a state. If we would, as many of us do, oppose the Chinese government for its oppression of Tibet, would we be branded as racists, or anti-Asians? No, we would not. People know that those objections are political and humanitarian, not racially based. So what makes Israel different? Zionist organizations have made it their goal to try to convince the world, Jews and non-Jews alike that Zionism is Judaism. Thus attacking Zionism is the same as attacking Judaism. This is simply not true, and most real Jews understand this.

In fact, Judge Moore is wrong about the Ten Commandments being the source of our judicial system. They are a part of American history, but they aren’t the source of our law.
The Founding Fathers, George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, James Wilson, Gouverneru Morris, Alexander Hamilton, et al, were all steeped in the classics. For example, the immortal Thomas Jefferson spoke Latin, Greek and French. He also especially valued his copy of Sali’s “Koran” (“Thomas Jefferson: A Life,” Willard Sterne Randall).
When searching for precedents to create a Republic, and a Constitutional system, with checks and balances, the Founding Fathers didn’t look to any tales from Jewish tribal or religious folklore. They went primarily to the venerable ancients themselves, the mainspring of Western Civilization: to Greece and Rome

AP also reported that lawyers for some FBI lab employees sent a letter to Attorney General John Ashcroft in 2001, just days before McVeigh was executed for the April 1995 bombing, alleging Burmeister may have been pressured to give false testimony in the case. No action was taken and the allegation was never divulged to McVeigh's lawyers.

The Mossad placed a transmitter on Libyan soil which made it appear that Libya was sending terrorist orders to its various embassies, which the gullible Americans decoded and considered to be real, even though they failed to predict the attack on Le Discotheque in West Germany which --ironically-- was the very "provocation" which was used to justify the strike.
Only the French, whose secret service is more astute at recognizing the hand of Mossad, were not fooled. And this was the reason why the French did not allow the United States to use their airspace for what was, in essence, an aggressive act against an innocent party --An act which resulted in the death of three Americans and forty Libyan civilians, including Qadhafi's adopted daughter.
"The population in Iraq suffered when it came to nutrition, medicine and education. Saddam's regime tightened its grip around the country. We had made a big mistake", he said.

Do you really think you just got a tax break? Do you really think the extra $400 many of us will receive for each dependent child was a rebate? Let me tell you something. The only reason we got a so-called tax break to begin with was because we are all tax broke to begin with.

The math is simple. The more the government gets into debt, the more it has to raise taxes, fees, excises, tariffs, etc. The aggregate tax rate is about 50% on the people. That means, as an employer, I have to pay my workers TWICE the money they need for their personal lives, to cover the added taxes. And,. on top of that, I have to pay the government another 22% directly in taxes I have to pay for permission to hire workers. All those taxes have to be figured into the cost of the product I sell. If this makes the cost of my product too high, then I lose sales to products with lower prices. In order to lower my prices, and since I cannot get the #$%#$% government to lower taxes, I have to cut the quality of the product I make and sell to bring the price back down. That means that I lose sales to better quality products. It is a no-win situation. So, I move my manufacturing operation to another nation less debt-stricken, with more reasonable taxation. I can pay my workers less money, and they STILL have a better quality of life than they would have inside the US, because the cost of living is lower in nations with lower taxes. Items they need cost less because less taxes are concealed in the price of what they purchase. Because employee taxes are lower, I can hire MORE workers for the same money, increasing employment and productivity. And, since less taxes are concealed in the price of the product I make I can afford to make a higher quality product o compete on the world market. Yes, it is that simple. High taxes from a debt-stricken government are driving the economic heart of this country to foreign locations. Only agriculture and the selling of raw materials will remain in this country, and with tax-inflated prices, may not find many customers outside the country itself. - M. R.
