But if that were true, where was the citizen uprising? It is clear that the people of Iraq are far from helpless is sufficiently angered.
I therefore conclude that stories of Saddam as monster are no more true than the claims about his WMDs,and that the government of Saddam was no more abusive of the people of Iraq than, well, Bush's. - M. R.

With the Hutton suicide ruling now called into serious question by experts from across the medical spectrum, there must now be a cast-iron case for resuming a full inquest into Dr Kelly's death.
