"In the beginning the church was a fellowship of men and women centering on the living Christ. Then the church moved to Greece where it became a philosophy. Then it moved to Rome where it became an institution. Next, it moved to Europe , where it became a culture. And, finally, it moved to America where it became an enterprise." -- Richard Halverson, former chaplain of the United States Senate

Russia to agree on no further unilateral steps to cease hostilities in Syria — envoy

Russia will agree on no further unilateral steps to cease hostilities in Syria after the United States’ tactical tricks that gave terrorist groups time to regroup and reinforce, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin said on Sunday at an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council.

"Requests for ceasefire — now for 48 hours, then for 72 hours — have become a routine practice," he said. "We have always been making concessions, at least tried, and reached agreements with the Syrian government. In the long run, it all ended in militants’ regrouping, receiving reinforcement and staging new offensives."

Scholar: US, UK Supporting War Crimes in the Middle East

Stephen Zunes, a California-based international relations scholar, states that London and Washington demonstrate a double standard approach to war crimes.

Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen since 2015. The war has already left 10,000 people dead and over a million malnourished children, according to the UN. The UK is one of the major weapon providers for the Saudis. It approved over £3 billion in arms sales to reinstate former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a Saudi ally.

Obama’s Imperial Mideast Policy Has Unraveled

Not only had the U.S. approved the same Kurdish offensive, but it had provided arms, money, and air support plus military advice in the form of some 250 US Special Operations forces embedded among members of the Kurdish militia known as the YPG.Although the Turks claimed to be targeting ISIS (also known as Islamic State, IS, ISIL, and Daesh), it was plain from the outset that the real aim was to counter an offensive that had carried Kurdish forces some 20 miles west of the Euphrates River and put them in a position to control nearly the entire Syrian-Turkish border.

Indeed, the Syrian Democratic Forces, a multi-ethnic militia anchored by the YPG, was a real success story, just about the only one Washington has had in the course of its disastrous five-year Syrian intervention.

NBC's Lester Holt emerges from debate bruised and partisan

Debate moderator Lester Holt came into Monday night as a news anchor with a sterling reputation for being a non-partisan newsman.

He enters Tuesday with at least 40 percent of the country questioning that distinction.

Holt was largely invisible in Monday's debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and that was a good thing. He mostly allowed the exchanges between the two candidates to simply follow their own path. This led to some of the more heated back-and-forths you'll even witness in such a setting, with Trump and Clinton consistently interjecting during the other's comments, particularly Trump.

But when Holt wasn't being invisible, he was targeting Trump's weaknesses while avoiding Clinton's.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Issues Holt hammered: Trump's taxes, birther, Trump's sexism, and whather Trump supported the Iraq war.

Issues Holt ignored: Hillary's email server, Benghazi, $6 trillion spent on war, Obamacare, Immigration.

THE GRIM REALITIES OF GLOBALISATION IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM

Globalisation has been sold as a panacea to the world’s ills but in reality it was not much more than a spurious and fraudulent deception. Martin Wolf, arguably the most influential economics w in Britain today, confirms this in a piece published in the FT entitled “Capitalism and Democracy: The Strain is Showing”. Wolf says “fixing the economic norms most English-speaking refer to as capitalism will be difficult. But a first step requires rethinking what elites have referred to for three decades as ‘free trade’ or globalisation.”¹

After Being Named Terrorists, Syrian “Al Qaeda” Group Says America Still Helps, But Not Enough

By Baran Hines

A battlefield leader for the “Syrian Al Qaeda” terrorist group Jahbat al-Nusra claimed the United States is still helping the group fight against Syrian government forces, in an interview with major German newspaper Kölner Stadtanzeiger. Abu al-Ezz, a jihadist commander fighting in the strategic city of Aleppo, said that “the Americans stand on our side” because the US and its allies still support the group with weapons, money, and logistics. The candid statements were quoted by reporter Jürgen Todenhöfer who traveled to Syria for the seventh time during the proxy war which has raged since 2011...

Byron York: Donald Trump's missed opportunities

As he prepared for the crucial first presidential debate, Donald Trump knew moderator Lester Holt would bring up the birther issue. He knew Holt would raise Trump's tax returns. And his old position on the Iraq war. None are among the voters' top concerns, but it was eminently predictable that they would be part of the debate — not least because if Holt had not brought them up, Hillary Clinton would have.

But Trump might not have predicted that Holt would leave some equally, if not more, important topics untouched. There was Obamacare, currently veering towards crisis. Immigration, including a proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The Clinton Foundation. Benghazi. Certainly a moderator can't cover everything, but those were some pretty big omissions.

Saudi-led coalition blamed for attack that killed 19 in Yemen hospital

A CHARITY whose hospital in Yemen was bombed killing 19 people has blamed the Saudi-led coalition for the attack.

The finding will add further pressure on Britain to stop supporting the Saudi campaign amid widespread accusations the coalition has breached international humanitarian law.

Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said the attack on the Abs Hospital last month was "unjustified and unprovoked" and has forced it to pull out of six more hospitals in northern Yemen, depriving many thousands of people from life-saving care.

Here's A List Of Lester Holt's Incredibly Biased Questions

Debate moderator Lester Holt showed extreme bias in favor of Hillary Clinton during last night's debate.

While he misleadingly "fact checked" Trump multiple times and asked Trump multiple "gotcha" questions, he failed to fact check Hillary Clinton even once. Holt also failed to ask Clinton about her email scandals, Clinton Foundation pay-for-play schemes, her ailing health, Benghazi, her vote for the war in Iraq and her disastrous intervention in Libya which helped give rise to ISIS.

Deutsche Bank Is Going Under: Is The Real Reason Germans Were Told To Prepare For A National Crisis?

There is a very real possibility that Deutsche Bank is going down.

If the most prominent bank in Germany fails, the effect on Europe will be profound, and I don’t think the United States will escape the effects. The ripples will turn into a tsunami as they travel across the Atlantic. Already, the bank’s troubles have stressed the American stock market.

Angela Merkel has stated that Deutsche Bank will not be getting a bailout from the European Central Bank – the lender of last resort for European banks.

The Department of Justice recently issued a $14 billion fine to the bank to settle a mortgage-backed securities probe…and the bank has no intention of paying.

Trump, to the left of Obama, pledges not to use nuclear weapons first

Trump just became a Statesman. He has over 200 generals and major law enforcement groups behind him. This is getting interesting!

After Hillary Clinton attacked Donald Trump’s rhetoric on nuclear issues as reckless and dangerous, Trump pledged not to be the first to introduce nuclear weapons into a conflict. “I would certainly not do first strike,” Trump said. “Once the nuclear alternative happens, it’s over.”

That may seem like common sense, but it’s actually a commitment that President Obama has been reluctant to make. The Pentagon argues that unless the U.S. is prepared to threaten a nuclear strike, it is less likely to deter Russian and Chinese aggression.

Germany "Other" Bank: Commerzbank To Fire 9,000, 18% Of Its Entire Workforce

While the market's attention has been transfixed by the latest crash in the stock of Europe's biggest bank, now that concerns about Deutsche Bank's $2 trillion balance sheet have violently resurfaced, it is worth recalling that Germany's "other" mega bank, DB's smaller rival, Commerzbank, whose balance sheet is hardly looking much healthier, is planning to cut around 9,000 jobs over the coming years as Germany's second biggest lender pushes ahead with a restructuring plan, Handelsblatt reported earlier today, citing unnamed sources in the finance industry.

The round of layoffs would eliminate a massive 18% of the bank's entire workforce.

Could the Elite Be Dumping Hillary? “Even the Deep State Needs Consent of the Governed”

Even if everyone in the room and even behind the curtain holds their nose at Trump when he walks in the room or says something bombastic, Trump has something that Hillary could never buy: the sense of being a truly outside option, a chance at resetting and trying again. What has been done in America up to this point has, very clearly, not worked for the average American, the dying middle class families and the increasing number of desperate and poor populations. In that climate and that context, it would seem that even a completely rigged election could hardly favor Hillary – she’s the new face of the system’s dirty diaper. Time to go.

The wars in the Mid-East illustrate the principle nicely. Iraq didn’t work. Libya didn’t work. Iran didn’t back down. ISIS and related curiosities? Britain has been accused of blocking the UN inquiry into atrocities in Yemen allegedly carried out by its theocratic ally Saudi Arabia.

US-Russian Deal: 'DoD Openly Saying It May or May Not Obey Obama'

However, the US scholar noted, there are forces in Washington which seek to disrupt the US-Russian détente.

Given the fact that US warplanes knew the Deir ez-Zor region very well and that the US Department of Defense (DOD) had openly expressed its skepticism regarding the US-Russian plan on Syria, it is "a little hard to believe" that the attack on the Syrian Arab Army was an "accident," Professor Cohen suggested. He quoted the New York Times editorial, which read that "at the Pentagon, officials would not even agree that if a cessation of violence in Syria held for seven days — the initial part of the deal — the Defense Department would put in place its part of the agreement on the eighth day."

A Sad And Shabby Thing: Here Comes Debate #1

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Zeus is said to have turned them both into stars because the question is unanswerable; an unstoppable force and an immoveable object cannot exist simultaneously.

Incredible Mainstream Avoidance of Hillary Debate Collapse

How does Hillary manage to stay healthy and on her feet for three debates? That’s the big question but incredibly you won’t find it asked in mainstream media articles anywhere.

As of a few hours before the debate, the Guardian, TIME, New York Times and myriad other publications have weighed in regarding the debates and what the candidates need to do to win.

The consensus seems to be that Trump has to restrain his instinct to make informal comments that seem “un-presidential.” And Hillary surely has to avoid droning on.

But there is only one fundamental question that needs to be asked from what we can tell: Will Hillary have a seizure or collapse onstage?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hillary is juiced up with the very best medications money can buy!

“I’m working on three multi-billion dollar Ponzi schemes today,” Markopolos told ABC News, including one that he says will be bigger than Madoff’s. "You can’t stop them."

Propaganda spin cycle: 'Syrian Observatory for Human Rights' is funded by US and UK governments

Officially, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) is a UK-based organization providing data to the Western press about troop movements, government policy and public sentiment in Syria. The Western press then reprints the information they are given - no questions asked:

His funding comes from the European Union and "an unnamed European state," most likely the UK as he has direct access to former Foreign Minister William Hague, who he has been documented meeting in person on multiple occasions at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London and shares Rahman's enthusiasm for removing Assad from power. The NYT in fact reveals that it was the British government that first relocated Abdul Rahman to Coventry, England after he fled Syria over a decade ago because of his anti-government activities:

Washington Tries to Break BRICS – Rape of Brazil Begins

Washington’s regime change machinery has for the time being succeeded in removing an important link in the alliance of large emerging nations by railroading through a Senate impeachment of the duly elected President, Dilma Rousseff. On August 31 her Vice President Michel Temer was sworn in as President. In his first speech as president, the cynical Temer called for a government of “national salvation,” asking for the trust of the Brazilian people. He indicated plans to reform, and has also signaled his intention to overhaul the pension system and labor laws, and cut public spending, all themes beloved of Wall Street banks, of the International Monetary Fund and their Washington Consensus. Now after less than three weeks at the job, Temer has unveiled plans for wholesale privatization of Brazil’s crown jewels, starting with oil. The planned Wall Street rape of Brazil is about to begin.

26 Incredible Facts About The Economy That Every American Should Know Before The Trump-Clinton Debate

Are you ready for the most anticipated presidential debate in decades? It is being projected that Monday’s debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could potentially break the all-time record of 80 million viewers that watched Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter debate back in 1980. Many Americans probably hope to see some personal fireworks between the two nominees, but the two candidates have both expressed a desire to focus on substantive issues. There will likely be quite a few questions about the economy, and without a doubt this is an area where Trump and Clinton have some very sharp differences. The mainstream media would have us believe that the U.S. economy is in pretty good shape, and if that was true that would seem to favor Clinton. But is it actually true? The following are 26 incredible facts about the economy that every American should know for the Trump-Clinton debate…

Webmaster's Commentary:

The real numbers look pretty damned depressing; but then again, people in government lie about pretty much everything, so why shouldn't they be lying now about the economy?!?

Nothing that comes out of the mouth of any politician, or the presstitutes who regurgitate their sound bites, can ever be trusted, ever again; it is in the independent media where the truth generally shows up.

How the Pentagon Sank the US-Russia Deal in Syria – and the Ceasefire

At an extraordinary video conference with Kerry immediately after the negotiation of the ceasefire agreement was complete, Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter strongly objected to the Joint Center– especially the provision for sharing intelligence with the Russians for a campaign against IS and al-Qaeda.

Obama had overridden Carter’s objections at the time, but a New York Times story filed the night of 13 September reported that Pentagon officials were still refusing to agree that the US should proceed with the creation of the Joint Implementation Center if the ceasefire held for seven days.

The Times quoted Lt. Gen. Jeffrey L Harrigian, commander of the United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT), as telling reporters, “I’m not saying yes or no.”

“It would be premature to say that we’re going to jump right into it,” he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but I thought that the civilian leadership of the American military was always the way it is supposed to be, and not the other way 'round: why Sec Def Carter or whoever actually ordered the attack has not been royally sacked, is a mystery to me.

That is, unless Obama wanted the strike, but to be able to claim "plausible deniability" in his having ordered it, and blame it on the Pentagon.

I think this is the more likely scenario, all things considered.

China flies military planes over strait near Japan

China has sent fighter planes for the first time over a strait near Japan, the two governments said Monday, after Tokyo announced it may patrol alongside the US in the disputed South China Sea.

More than 40 Chinese military aircraft on Sunday traversed the Miyako Strait between Japan’s Miyako and Okinawa Islands, to carry out training in the West Pacific, according to a statement on China’s defense ministry website.

The Sukhoi Su-30 fighters, bombers and refueling aircraft did not violate Japanese airspace.

Japan’s defense ministry said it was the first time Chinese fighters had passed over the strait.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is not going to ratchet down tensions in the South China Sea area one whit; it appears that the Chinese military is playing "picador" with Japan here, and this is only going to escalate tensions in the region.

Obama land grab: Marine area twice size of Texas under Fed control

Another Obama land grab just occurred on August 26, 2016, when the US Federal Government announced that it had massively expanded the scope of its marine protected area near Hawaii known as the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument. With this presidential proclamation, Obama has well and truly earned first place among all US presidents in history for appropriating, borrowing or stealing (depending upon how you look at it) the most amount of land, including aqueous territory.

Hillary Clinton Sponsored Secretive Arab Spring Program that Destabilized Middle East

The U.S. State Department under the leadership of Secretary Hillary Clinton continued a program to embolden foreign, revolutionary, social media activists to agitate for regime change in various parts of the world. The program arguably had major, detrimental consequences for the trajectory of the Middle East.

Recent leaks show a memo that top Clinton aide Huma Abedin sent to her boss stating, “I’m giving you credit for inspiring the ‘peaceful’ protests,” with regard to Egypt, with quotation marks around the word “peaceful.”

The United States government is believed to have utilized a program called the Alliance of Youth Movements Summit, co-founded by a close Hillary Clinton adviser, to provide networking opportunities for an activist plotting to overthrow Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak several years before the “Arab Spring” protests that led to widespread regime change in the Middle East.

‘Fragmented Oversight’: GAO Probe Finds 21 Cases Of Lethal Pathogens Shipped By Mistake

Laboratories around the US sent out highly contagious viruses and bacteria samples they mistakenly believed were inactive on at least 21 occasions since 2003, a government audit found, deeming oversight of the sample-sharing program sorely lacking.

In addition to the 11 previously known incidents, the audit found 10 cases that had not been previously reported. Eleven federal, five academic and five private labs were implicated in the probe of the Select Agent Program, conducted by the Government Accountability Office and covering the period between 2003 and 2015.

INTRODUCING THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL COMPLEX

Even in the deadliest years, the chance of a student or adult being killed at school is roughly one in a million. By contrast, roughly five out of every 100,000 American residents are murdered each year. Extrapolating from this, schools are somewhere in the region of 50 times safer than society overall.
Now here's the most tragic part....

And yet you’d never know that from the level of fear that exists around schools—or from the vast amount of money we spend attempting to make them more secure. The research company IHS Technology recently estimated that schools and universities spent about $768 million on security measures in 2014—a sum that it predicted would rise to roughly $907 million for 2016. That’s an awful lot of money to spend at a time when state and local budget cuts are limiting educational opportunities for students across the country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, THAT's positive reinforcement for you!!

But seriously, if I even thought for a moment that an altercation between an officer and my child would result in her being dumped, dragged, and arrested for a minor infraction of school policies, I would get that kid out of that school so quickly, it would make the principal's head spin.

But what this kind of behaviour ultimately teaches kids is that the Authority Figures are always right, even when they are not, and have the power to physically overwhelm, and severely punish you.

As kids who are taught this way, when these children get to become young adults, the State becomes the teacher/officer, and still has the brutal power to silence, and crush you, even to death, even when what you are saying is legitimate.

Look at what the US government is doing to Chelsea Manning, to get a good concept of where this ultimately winds up.

Telling truth to power becomes dangerous, so most people just suck up the lies that ultimately will destroy their lives, if they are not careful.

Election Or Revolution? An Open Letter To The People Of The United States

As citizens of the USA with a presidential election approaching you have a wonderful opportunity to ponder whether to participate in this election or to participate in the ongoing American Revolution.

Your first revolution might have overthrown the authority of the British monarchy and aristocracy but the one in progress must remove the US elite which has executed a political coup against your government. And you cannot remove elite coupmakers in a fraudulently conducted election in which the ‘choice’ is essentially between two violently insane individuals, each of whom represents the violently insane US elite. See ‘The Global Elite is Insane’ and ‘Why Violence?’

Obama Caught REGISTERING Illegals To Vote Against Trump

According to The Political Insider, a movement has started to have illegal immigrants join “citizenship clinics,” which would allow them a pathway to become registered voters. The Washington Post reported that these clinics were an unprecedented effort” that would allow illegals to “presumably (vote) against Donald Trump.”

The Obama administration has always denied playing any role in these clinics. However, new evidenced has just surfaced that proves once and for all that Obama is behind the clinics and has been literally working overtime to fast track swearing-in ceremonies for immigrants prior to the election.

This was revealed in an internal Obama administration email that shows immigration officials are literally working more hours to swear in as many new “citizen voters” as possible before the Nov. 8 presidential election.
