Belzec 'death camp' was underground, Jews were electrocuted

"The Belzec camp is underground, an electric crematorium. Here the floor resembled an enormous plate, it sank deep into a pool of water, a powerful electric current of millions of volts killed them all at once. The floor rose again, an electric current burned them until nothing was left, save a few ashes."

The Trump “Dossier” Takes Another Credibility Hit

It is gradually becoming clear that the central, perhaps only, evidence in the investigation of alleged “collusion” between some/all members of the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence to enable Trump to pull off an Electoral College win though losing the popular vote is the “dossier” compiled by former British intelligence operative Lexington Christopher Steele.

Parts of the dossier are known to be dodgy. Parts of it seem to be composed of information the British intelligence apparatus had either passed to the US, or that the US had passed to the Brits, and Steel obtained access to via his circle of contacts. Steele seems to have salted his dossier with enough valid intelligence that is gave an air of credibility to the whole thing. In fact, the FBI deemed is sufficiently credible that they offered to pay Steele for more work and they used the dossier, the one you saw in BuzzFeed, as part of the evidence to get FISA surveillance authorized on Carter Page.

Anti-Muslim threats, attack hoax created by US professor to keep his job

An assistant professor at Indiana State University has been arrested for allegedly making false claims of anti-Muslim threats against him and reporting a made-up attack. Azhar Hussain has been charged with obstruction of justice and harassment.
Campus police said students and faculty members, both Muslim and non-Muslim, were sent threatening emails in March.

The emails contained anti-Muslim sentiment and threats against the Muslim community at Indiana State University (ISU), naming Hussain as a target.

Hussain reported an attack on March 24 as he was entering his office, in which he claimed to have been thrown to the floor, the Tribune Star reports. At the time, ISU police said people in the area at the time of the reported attack didn’t see anything suspicious.

Is Zionism Antisemitic?

In the current furore over supposed antisemitism in the Labour Party and the suspension of Ken Livingstone for asserting that Hitler supported Zionism, the crux of the problem seems to have been somewhat obscured. Livingstone’s intervention was untimely, uncalled for and clumsily expressed (it’s never a good idea to bring Hitler into the discussion) but the collaboration in the 1930s between Zionist leaders and Nazi apparatchiks, like Eichmann, is a historical fact.

Former Israeli Defense Minister Confirms Israeli Collaboration With ISIS In Syria

In the midst of complaining about the Islamist threat to Israel and the world, Bibi Netanyahu conveniently forgets that his own country enjoys a tacit alliance with ISIS in Syria. It is an alliance of convenience to be sure and one that’s not boasted about by either party. But is not terribly different from one than Israel enjoys with its other Muslim allies like Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.

Bogie Yaalon served as defence minister in the current government till he had a falling out with Netanyahu. Now Yaalon plans to form his own party and run against his former boss. Unfortunately for him, he’s not polling well and doesn’t appear to be much of a political threat.

There is a paranoid, hysterical quality to the public discourse on Russia and all things Russian in today’s America. North Korea Arrests US Citizen, Threatens To Sink US Aircraft Carrier As Japan Deploys Warships

A third US citizen has been arrested and remains in custody in North Korea, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap. A man, a Korean-American professor in his 50s, identified by the surname Kim, had been in North Korea for a month to discuss relief activities and was detained at Pyongyang International Airport just as he was leaving North Korea, the agency reported.

The man was a former professor at Yanbian University of Science and Technology (YUST), Yonhap said, citing unnamed sources. YUST, a university in neighboring China, has a sister university in Pyongyang. An official at South Korea's National Intelligence Service said it was not aware of the reported arrest. The reason for his arrest is still unclear, and there has been no comment from the US authorities so far. South Korea’s spy agency, the National Intelligence Service, said it “was not aware” of Kim’s arrest, according to Yonhap.

Transgenders Threaten Female Sports

World Net Daily recently published an article[1] titled Female Athletes Crushed By ‘Women Who Were Once Men’. The article documents a number of instances in which biologically male transgenders have been allowed to compete in women’s events and, in some cases, have already begun winning. The two most notable examples are:

“Transgender weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, who was born a man, won the Australian international women’s competition March 19. Hubbard, 39, lifted 591 pounds, nearly 20 pounds more than the woman who won the silver medal…”

“Transgender cyclist Jillian Bearden, a 36-year-old biological male and Colorado Springs native, won the women’s division of the El Tour de Tucson in four hours and 26 minutes in November 2016.”

FLASHBACK - Underclothes That Display The 4th Amendment When X-Rayed by TSA

4th Amendment Wear is a series of underclothes that have the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution printed on them with metallic ink that so that it will show up when worn through a TSA X-Ray machine.

The clothes are designed as a silent protest against the new reality of being searched to the point where we’re basically naked. We don’t intend for this to be anything more than a thought-provoking way to fuel the debate about safety vs. civil liberties. If we sell a few items, great. But the main intention is to open more dialogue. It’s more of a conceptual piece than anything else.

2001 was the official year U.S. forces began to invade Afghanistan with hostile force following the 9/11 attacks. President George W. However, sixteen years later, the truth begins to emerge on what is at stake in Afghanistan and what there is to gain… dope, minerals, and power.

Afghanistan provides 90% of the world’s Opium, the raw material needed for the production of Heroin. It is basically the only way Afghanistan can keep their economy going. Without the Poppy fields, Afghanistan is finished.

Cayetano to Trump: Cancel Federal Rail Funding

Massive cost overruns and inflated ridership projections are the norm in rail projects, but Honolulu’s 20-mile elevated rail system tops them all. Initially estimated to cost $5.28 billion, the projected construction cost is now $10 billion or $500 million per mile, the most costly in the world.

City officials initially promised that rail would reduce the current level of traffic congestion dramatically. However, the Final Environmental Impact Statement concluded that rail would reduce traffic congestion by less than 2% and that “traffic congestion will be worse in the future with rail than what it is today (without rail).”

Currently. the City does not have the funds to complete the 20-mile system, falling at least $3 billion short and six years behind schedule.

How did this debacle happen? Frankly, like Alaska’s infamous “Bridge to Nowhere,” Honolulu’s rail project was driven more by politics than by objective engineering and planning.

New Hawaii Veterans Affairs Chief Tied to Falsified Medical Wait Times, 13 Deaths in Arizona

Hawaii veterans aren’t worried about new Director of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System Jennifer Gutowski’s ability to fix whatever problems may already exist inside the system.

DID EXTORTION 17 COVER-UP SINK REP. CHAFFETZ?

This week we learned that the ever “media friendly” smiling publicity hound of the House of Representatives, Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah, would not run again for his seat next year. Ironically, as Chaffetz announced that he would step down from his seemingly powerful role as chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee – a body that is the investigative “scandal arm” of the House – it was revealed by Circa News that an investigation he had conducted over the tragic shoot down of Extortion 17 was part of an elaborate government cover-up, itself criminal in nature. Had Chaffetz remained as chairman, ironically, his own committee would have had to investigate and likely take action against him.

Key iPhone 8 feature could be disastrous

After the picture was leaked last week, iPhone users were fast to point out just how ridiculously impractical the positioning of the new fingerprint scanner was.

With most Android devices, the scanner is located at the rear of the device, but at the top where it is natural for your finger to sit.

Even though the S8 has been criticised for placing it next to the camera, at least it is located in a comfortable position.

One Reddit user explained why the button’s new position would be a terrible move from Apple.

“Just try holding your iPhone now and reaching your index finger that far below the Apple logo. If this is true, it is a disastrous placement of touch ID, even worse than the S8 in my opinion,” they wrote.

If You Understand History and Economics, You Understand Gold

It was clear to me after the US election that Trump was never going to live up to all his promises to make America great again. He took over the country at the end of a 36-year era of continuous stock and bond market rally fuelled by the biggest credit expansion in US history. It would have been an impossible task for anyone to expand all the bubbles and it seems that Trump unsurprisingly has already failed at the first hurdle. After just under 100 days, he is already a lame duck president. This is why he has turned to war which is the last desperate attempt of a leader who fails on the home front in a bankrupt nation.

How the U.S. Government Spins the Story

Sounds like we’ve heard it all before, because we have, back in August 2013, and that turned out to be less than convincing. Skepticism is likewise mounting over current White House claims that Damascus used a chemical weapon against civilians in the village of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province on April 4th. Shortly after the more recent incident, President Donald Trump, possibly deriving his information from television news reports, abruptly stated that the government of President Bashar al-Assad had ordered the attack. He also noted that the use of chemicals had “crossed many red lines” and hinted that Damascus would be held accountable. Twenty-four hours later retribution came in the form of the launch of 59 cruise missiles directed against the Syrian airbase at Sharyat. The number of casualties, if any, remains unclear and the base itself sustained only minor damage amidst allegations that many of the missiles had missed their target.

Debunking Trump’s Casus Belli

Recently, with the cruise missile attacks on a Syrian airfield, there has been a considerable loosening of the normal restraints that employees exercise regarding their duties. Even more than the invasion of Iraq, which was viewed skeptically by many in the community, the decision by President Trump to retaliate with force against Damascus has been met with dismay among many of those closest to the action in the Middle East.

Many officers have expressed frustration and anger over what has taken place—not to challenge national-security policy, which they leave up to the politicians, but because they are perceiving a tissue of lies, as in Iraq. They have expressed their concerns in very specific ways to former fellow officers and friends. For the first time, people on the inside of the process are really talking. And we have been listening, astonished at the level of anger.

FLASHBACK 2012 - Israel Lobby Pushes for US Action Against the Syrian Government (to weaken Iran)

The neoconservatives, the vanguard of the Israel lobby, have especially been ardent in their advocacy of a hardline, interventionist position toward Syria. Evidence abounds for this finding, but it is best encapsulated by an August 2011 open letter from the neoconservative Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (an organization which claims to address any “threat facing America, Israel and the West”) to President Obama, urging him to take stronger measures against Syria.

Trump Blames 'Fake Media' for His Low Approval Rating

US President Donald Trump said that "fake" media outlets were responsible for the low level of his support by the US citizens revealed by recent surveys.

On Sunday, several US media outlets, such as Washington Post and the ABC broadcaster, published surveys showing that majority of the US citizens do not approve Trump's activities as president.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No wonder they wanted us to stay! UK leaving EU without deal 'would cost Germany BILLIONS'

BRITAIN leaving the EU without a deal would end up costing the remaining eurozone countries more, especially Germany, a Bundestag committee has been warned.

A hearing of the Bundestag’s European Committee was told by experts that Germany would incur extra costs because it is the largest net contributor to the EU’s kitty.

If Britain were to leave the bloc without a deal, then it would no longer be obliged to transfer any money to Brussels from April 2019 onwards and would not need to contribute to the future pension costs of EU officials, which stands at a sizeable £54.1billion (€63.8bn)

Dr Peter Becker, 58, at Germany’s Institute for International Policy and Security, told the committee: "The EU would then have no legal means to demand outstanding payments from London.”

This morning Tesla announced a voluntary recall of 53,000 vehicles shipped in 2016. Tesla shipped a total of 76,000 vehicles in 2016, so this is a large fraction of the company’s sales for the year.

According to Tesla, a defective part in the parking brake could prevent the brake from releasing. “We do not believe this issue could ever lead to a safety concern for customers and we have not seen a single accident or injury relating to it,” Tesla said in an email statement to Vox. The worst that could happen is that a vehicle could be immobilized by a parking brake that can’t be disengaged.

FCC clears way for big TV mergers, eases broadband price limits

The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday accelerated its deregulation push under Republican control, voting to ease limits on broadcast TV ownership and prices that large telecom companies can charge businesses and governments for bulk broadband services.

Revisions to how the agency calculates the audience reached by broadcasters would clear the way for Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. to purchase Tribune Media Co., which owns KTLA-TV Channel 5 in Los Angeles and 41 other stations.

With these glasses, a legally blind teen can see — and shoot 3s with the Harlem Globetrotters

An Ontario teen who is legally blind not only got to hang out with a couple of Harlem Globetrotters recently — he was able to actually see them, thanks to technology from a Toronto startup.

Ethan LaCroix, 13, has been nearly 75 per cent blind his whole life because of a rare disease called Leber congenital amaurosis. But when he wears eSight eyewear, the Brantford, Ont. teen has nearly normal vision.

"I could see writing on a piece of paper from across the room," LaCroix said, describing the first time he put the glasses on. "I looked out the window and could see the street signs and all the signs on the buildings."

Jeff Fenton, eSight's director of marketing, said people often compare it to the visor worn by Geordie LaForge on Star Trek: The Next Generation — an instrument that allowed the LaForge character, who was totally blind, to see even better than people with normal vision.

Senators seek data on Americans caught up in surveillance

A Democratic privacy advocate and libertarian-minded Republican are asking the nation's top intelligence official to release more information about the communications of American citizens swept up in surveillance operations.

The request by Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon and GOP Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky adds to a chorus of calls for more transparency about how intelligence agencies use and share communications to, from and about Americans.

The two want to know more about how agencies handle these communications as well as data about the number of Americans affected. They also want to make public the procedures on how intelligence about members of Congress is disseminated.

Uber cloaked its spying and all it got from Apple was a slap on the wrist

Uber hid its fingerprinting of iPhone users from Apple – techniques that would have had any other app thrown out of Apple's store. Uber retained the information even after the Uber app had been deleted and the phone had been wiped. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick got a personal reprimand from Apple CEO Tim Cook, but the app stayed put, and Uber continues to use fingerprinting worldwide.

11 Facts That Prove That The U.S. Economy In 2017 Is In Far Worse Shape Than It Was In 2016

There is much debate about where the U.S. economy is ultimately heading, but what everybody should be able to agree on is that economic conditions are significantly worse this year than they were last year. It is being projected that U.S. economic growth for the first quarter will be close to zero, thousands of retail stores are closing, factory output is falling, and restaurants and automakers have both fallen on very hard times. As economic activity has slowed down, commercial and consumer bankruptcies are both rising at rates that we have not seen since the last financial crisis. Everywhere you look there are echoes of 2008, and yet most people still seem to be in denial about what is happening. The following are 11 facts that prove that the U.S. economy in 2017 is in far worse shape than it was in 2016…

It's designed to detect an implant called Doublepulsar, which is delivered by many of the Windows-based exploits found in the leak and can be used to load other malware.

The script, which requires some programming skill to use, is available for download on GitHub.

Striking new light phenomenon that experts have named STEVE in honour of children's film

A group of aurora enthusiasts have found a new type of light in the night sky and named it Steve.

Eric Donovan from the University of Calgary in Canada spotted the feature in photos shared on a Facebook group.

He did not recognise it as a catalogued phenomenon and although the group were calling it a proton arc, he knew proton auroras were not visible.

Testing showed it appeared to be a hot stream of fast-flowing gas in the higher reaches of the atmosphere.

The European Space Agency (ESA) sent electric field instruments to measure it 300km (190 miles) above the surface of the Earth and found the temperature of the air was 3,000C (5,432F) hotter inside the gas stream than outside it.

Inside, the 25km-wide ribbon of gas was flowing at 6 km/s (13,000mph), 600 times faster than the air on either side.
