‘What is wrong with him?’: Morning Joe blames voices ‘inside his brain’ for Trump’s latest crazed tweet

President Donald Trump on early Friday morning fired out a tweet in which he claimed the biggest topic of conversation in Europe right now was former Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s handling of the DNC server hack.

“Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA,” the president wrote. “Disgraceful!”

The crew at Morning Joe had a good laugh about Trump’s declaration that Europeans were seemingly obsessed with Podesta, and they used the tweet to once again question the president’s mental health.

Broccoli sprouts found to have significant impact in the treatment of type 2 diabetes

In a randomized and placebo-controlled study that was published in Science Translational Medicine, a complex in broccoli known as sulforaphane was found to be beneficial to obese patients with poorly regulated type 2 diabetes. The researchers looked at 97 obese patients over the course of 12 weeks. The subjects who were given concentrated broccoli sprout noted a significant drop in fasting blood glucose levels compared to those who were given a placebo.

In fact, the researchers found that sulforaphane could prevent the development of glucose intolerance in addition to lowering blood glucose levels just as much as metformin. They saw a drop in glucose of around 10 percent, which is enough to decrease complications in the kidneys, blood and eyes, and the compound did not lead to any gastrointestinal problems like metformin, nor did it have any other side effects.

‘Resolutely opposed’: China fumes after US supersonic bombers fly over disputed S. China Sea

Beijing spoke out after two US long-range supersonic bombers flew over the disputed South China Sea, saying it opposes the use of freedom of overflight as an excuse to harm its security. The leaders of the US and China are set to meet Friday.

“China resolutely opposes individual countries using the banner of freedom of navigation and overflight to flaunt military force and harm China’s sovereignty and security,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said on Friday.

The statement came after the US Air Force confirmed earlier on Friday that two B-1B Lancer bombers from Guam had flown over the disputed waterway.

Prior to the flyover, the Lancers conducted exercises with Japan in the East China Sea, representing the first time the two forces had conducted joint night-time drills.

Congress joins Trump war on regs, cuts a year's worth in one week

Congressional lawmakers have gone all in on President Trump's bid to slash Obama-era regulations, targeting $19 billion in rules and the elimination of enough red tape to free up 5,200 federal workers, according to a new analysis.

The cuts proposed by the House Appropriations Committee this week amount to a year's worth of regulations under the Obama administration, said the report from American Action Forum.

Analyst Sam Batkins wrote, "The suite of appropriations bills released this week goes further, curtailing more than $19 billion in total regulatory costs and eliminating 10.4 million hours of paperwork, the equivalent of eliminating all regulations from 2006 and freeing 5,200 employees from paperwork compliance."

14 Facts That Prove That America’s Absolutely Pathetic System Of Public Education Deserves An ‘F’ Grade

One thing that almost everyone can agree upon is that our system of public education is broken. We spend far more money on public education than anyone else in the world, and yet the results are depressing to say the least. Considering how much we are putting into education, we should be producing the best students on the entire planet, but it just isn’t happening. Personally, I attended public schools from kindergarten all the way up through law school, and the quality of education that I received was extremely poor. Even on the collegiate level, most of the courses were so “dumbed down” that even the family dog could have passed them. And of course millions of other people all over the country would say the same sorts of things about their own educations. Many refer to what is happening to our society as “the dumbing down of America”, and if we don’t get things fixed the United States is on course to become a second class nation.

CopyCat disguises as a popular Android app that users download from third-party stores. Once downloaded, the malware starts collecting data about the infected device and downloads rootkits to help root the victim's smartphone.

After rooting the Android device, the CopyCat malware removes security defenses from the device and injects code into the Zygote app launching process to fraudulently install apps and display ads and generate revenue.

"CopyCat abuses the Zygote process to display fraudulent ads while hiding their origin, making it difficult for users to understand what's causing the ads to pop-up on their screens," Check Point researchers say.

"CopyCat also installs fraudulent apps directly to the device, using a separate module. These activities generate large amounts of profits for the creators of CopyCat, given a large number of devices infected by the malware."

Did John Wayne die of cancer caused by a radioactive movie set?

I'm horrified to have to report this, John, but your girlfriend's claim is only slightly exaggerated. Experts say under ordinary circumstances only 30 people out of a group of that size should have gotten cancer. The cause? No one can say for sure, but many attribute the cancers to radioactive fallout from U.S. atom bomb tests in nearby Nevada. The whole ghastly story is told in The Hollywood Hall of Shame by Harry and Michael Medved. But let's start at the beginning.
