Updated NASA Data: Global Warming Not Causing Any Polar Ice Retreat Updated data from NASA satellite instruments reveal the Earths polar ice caps have not receded at all since the satellite instruments began measuring the ice caps in 1979. Since the end of 2012, moreover, total polar ice extent has largely remained above the post-1979 average. The updated data contradict one of the most frequently asserted global warming claims that global warming is causing the polar ice caps to recede.

Utah's Wasatch Range has Potential to Receive 6-12 Inches of Snow This Weekend Yes, you read that correctly. The 2016/2017 winter in Utah may be coming earlier than expected and in a BIG way. The Wasatch Snow Forecast released the following statement regarding this weekend's forecast of 6-12 inches of snow.

Four Studies Find 'No Observable Sea-Level Effect' From Man-Made Global Warming Ten years after former Vice President Al Gore warned in his 2006 Oscar-winning film, An Inconvenient Truth, that if nothing was done to stop man-made global warming, melting Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets could raise sea levels by up to 20 feet, four peer-reviewed scientific studies found "no observable sea-level effect of anthropogenic global warming."

"It is widely assumed that sea levels have been rising in recent decades largely in response to anthropogenic global warming," Kenneth Richard writes at NoTricksZone. "However, due to the inherently large contribution of natural oscillatory influences on sea level fluctuations, this assumption lacks substantiation...

Denver digs out from blizzard; roads ice over, schools closed, widespread power outages - A blizzard that ranked in the top five for March has moved out of the Denver metro area, but it left behind a foot of snow, icy roads and cold temperatures.
Denver received 13.1 inches of snow at the official reporting station at Denver International Airport, making it the fifth-largest snowstorm in March in the city since record keeping began in the late 1800s.

Stats Tampering Puts NOAA in Hot Water NOAA's adjustments to previous ocean temperatures between 1998 and 2012 made recent global temperature changes appear more than twice warmer than the original records showed.
This was accomplished by throwing out global-coverage satellite-sensed sea surface measurements taken since the late 1970s - the best data available - and upwardly adjusting spotty and unreliable hit-and-miss temperature readings taken from ocean-going vessels which present well-recognized problems.
Big errors are introduced because readings taken from the cooling-water intake-tubes of various ships record measure temperatures at different ocean depths. Varying amounts of conduction from different vessel infrastructures and daily sun conditions skew temperatures as well.
Writing in the well-known science blog "Watts Up With That," CATO's Center for the Study of Science Director Patrick Michaels, Assistant Director Paul Knappenberger, and Distinguished Senior Fellow-MIT Professor Emeritus of Meteorology Richard Lindzen agree that the lax standard of NOAA's study should prompt questions by members of the scientific community.

NOAA Radiosonde Data Shows No Warming For 58 Years In their "hottest year ever" press briefing, NOAA included this graph, which stated that they have a 58 year long radiosonde temperature record. But they only showed the last 37 years in the graph.
Here is why they are hiding the rest of the data. The earlier data showed as much pre-1979 cooling as the post-1979 warming.

The El Nino warming current is caused by undersea volcanoes. Winter 2015-2016 was delayed in styarting because of the record high El Nino warming current. Contrary to the screams of the carbonazis (and NASA and NOAA who are still insisting the Earth is at all time record hign temperatures without proviing any evidence) El Nino is not caused by human activity but by active undersea volcanoes.

Midwest faces deep freeze in wake of snow storm A deep freeze set in across the Midwest on Sunday with low temperatures forecast in the single digits and a few below zero, turning the season's first major snow into ice that made some roads treacherous to travel. After snow on Friday and Saturday across much of the region, temperatures plunged behind the front. The National Weather Service forecast 20 degrees or lower across six states from North Dakota to Illinois. Fargo, North Dakota, could dip to 11 degrees by early Sunday. Madison, Wisconsin, could see 7 degrees and Des Moines 12. Parts of Iowa, northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin could reach below zero, the weather service said.

One of the longest running climate prediction blunders has disappeared from the Internet From the Independent's most cited article: Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past by Charles Onians:

However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

"Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

It seems however, that after over 15 years, the Independent has removed that article.

How Arctic ice has made fools of all those poor warmists Two events last week brought yet further twists to one of the longest-running farces of our modern world. One was the revelation by the European Space Agency that in 2013 and 2014, after years when the volume of Arctic ice had been diminishing, it increased again by as much as 33 per cent. The other was that Canadian scientists studying the effect of climate change on Arctic ice from an icebreaker had to suspend their research, when their vessel was called to the aid of other ships trapped in the thickest summer ice seen in Hudson Bay for 20 years. For more than a decade now, the belief that, thanks to global warming, Arctic ice was vanishing has been for the warmists the ultimate poster-child for their cause (along with those "vanishing" polar bears). In 2007, with the aid of scientists such as Wieslaw Maslowski and Peter Wadhams, the BBC and others were telling us that the Arctic would be totally "ice free by 2013".

Cambridge Professor: Big-Oil-Funded Death Squads Tried to Murder me Because I Knew Too Much About Global Warming Desperation on the cusp of madness!

The corporate media has launched a blitz of claims that 2015 is the hottest year on record, despite the record cold and snow this winter. The claim that 2015 is the hottest year is put forward by both NASA and NOAA, which work for the same government that assured you Saddam had nuclear weapons.

In June, 1934 half of the US was over 100 degrees.

Click for larger image

Compare that with the number of stations reporting over 100 desgree in June 2015. (And there are more stations than back in 1934!)

Click for larger image

However, NASA is already hedging their bets by admitting that the statistical methods used to arrive at this claim have a very wide margin of error, so much so that it is only a 38% chance the claim that 2014 was the hottest year on record (before 2015) is accurate.

Meanwhile, the satellite launched to measure Earth's temperature does not confirm this claim. In fact, 2014 came in at sixth place in the time since since the satellite was launched!

Here is a comparison of Earth's temperature between April 2015 and April 1998, showing the scale of the lie by NASA and NOAA that 2015 is the hottest year on record.

Chinese scientists doing very finely detailed measures of isotopes trapped in giant clam shells have reconstructed a detailed record of Earth's climate that confirms that the Roman and Medieval warm periods were indeed far warmer than Earth is today, and oddly enough, were also periods of lower CO2 content in the atmosphere.

Contrary to the carbonazis' claims of impending doom if the Earth gets warmer, the Roman and Medieval warm periods were times of immense fertility and productivity, allowing humans freed from the scramble to find food to create the flowering of the Roman civilization, with its art and engineering, then later the Renaissance.

Professor Emeritus Hal Lewis Resigns from American Physical Society

"For reasons that will soon become clear my former pride at being an APS Fellow all these years has been turned into shame, and I am forced, with no pleasure at all, to offer you my resignation from the Society.

"It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. Anyone who has the faintest doubt that this is so should force himself to read the ClimateGate documents, which lay it bare. (Montford's book organizes the facts very well.) I don't believe that any real physicist, nay scientist, can read that stuff without revulsion. I would almost make that revulsion a definition of the word scientist.

"So what has the APS, as an organization, done in the face of this challenge? It has accepted the corruption as the norm, and gone along with it.
