Sackler scion once said 59 Oxycontin deaths in one state was 'not bad' then urged staff to increase opioid doses in patients, emails show, while records reveal his pharmaceutical company has now patented a drug to treat addiction

The heir to the Sackler billions worked to protect the company while profiting every step of the way according to a lawsuit that was unsealed just last week in the state of Massachusetts.

A complaint filed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts accused the Sackler family of not only knowing about the growing opioid epidemic that was being fueled by the painkiller Oxycontin, but pushing their sales force at Purdue Pharma to get more doctors prescribing the drug.

Once a patient had been prescribed the painkiller, executives urged staff to get those individuals on a higher dosage, thus generating more profit.

Even with massive, coordinated tech censorship of the independent media, the globalist-funded left-wing media is rapidly COLLAPSING

The left-wing media has done its best in recent times to censor independent media, but the joke appears to be on them as they see their empires collapse. Mass layoffs are being seen across sites like BuzzFeed, Vox, Vice, and Huffington Post as readers take advantage of the many credible alternatives available on the internet today.

Did the FDA Just Approve a Toxic New Artificial Sweetener?

The FDA is amending their food additive regulations to provide for the “safe” use of Advantame, after receiving a petition from Ajinomoto Co., Inc., a Japanese company which produces most of the world’s MSG as well as being a major supplier of aspartame. . . .

Senior Scientist Lisa Lefferts, at CSPINET (The Center for Science in the Public Interest) shares her concern that “In a key cancer study in mice, the number of mice that survived to the end of the study [of Advantame] was below the FDA’s own scientific recommendations, and is therefore inadequate to provide confidence in the safety of a chemical likely to be consumed by millions of people.”

Marijuana's Unexpected Effect on Sperm Count Revealed in Harvard Study Some surprisingly good news

There’s plenty of research showing that marijuana can improve things in the bedroom, but it’s not as clear whether it has the same effect in your pants. Studies about the effect of marijuana use on sperm count have had mixed results, at best. Guys who smoke weed, however, can take comfort in the findings of a large study published by Harvard University scientists on Tuesday. The sperm of marijuana smokers, it seems, is alright. Maybe even more than alright.

The Most Depressing Stat Of The Month: The U.S. National Debt Is About To Pass The $22 Trillion Mark

The U.S. national debt is wildly out of control, and nobody in Washington seems to care. According to the U.S. Treasury, the federal government is currently $21,933,491,166,604.77 in debt. -- In just a few days, that figure will cross the 22 trillion dollar mark. Over the last 10 years, we have added more than 11 trillion dollars to the national debt, and that means that it has been growing at a pace of more than a trillion dollars a year. To call this a major national crisis would be a massive understatement, and yet there is absolutely no urgency in Washington address this absolutely critical issue. We are literally destroying the financial future of this nation, but most Americans don’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation that we are facing.

December 2018 NICS Background Checks make Second Highest on Record

The National Instant Background Checks System (NICS) checks for December of 2018 were 2,543,385. They were just a little less (42,753) than NICS checks for December of 2017. That makes them the fourth highest December on record and puts the total for 2018 as the second highest year of NICS checks on record with 26,181,936. The top year was 2016, with 27,438,673. -- Two things conspired to bring about the “Trump Slump”. The first is that President Trump is not Hillary Clinton. Gun owners are not as concerned about being able to purchase the gun and ammunition they want. There is also less fear of emotionally driven politics will be used to deny them the guns they wish to have. -- The second part is many NICS checks are for other purposes. Once we take out the background checks done for permits and permit renewals, The numbers drop. The numbers of permit and permit recheck numbers for December of 2018 were 737,926 and 285,273, respectively.

'It's immoral exploitation': Bernie Sanders rips into pharmaceutical company that now charges $375k for a drug that was FREE for years

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders has written to a pharmaceutical company asking for a justification on its decision to charge $375,000 annually for a drug that for years has been available to patients for free.

Sanders sent the letter to Catalyst Pharmaceuticals on Monday, in which he asked it to explain both the financial and non-financial factors the company considered when it set the list price for Firdapse in December.

The drug is used to treat Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS), a rare neuromuscular disorder, according to the letter dated February 4.

The disorder affects about one in 100,000 people in the United States.

Anti-vaxxers are as dangerous to global health as HIV, doctor declares as rates of exemptions soar in the US

A Maryland doctor has warned that vaccine skepticism could lead to a global health crisis as big as HIV.

'Surely, vaccine hesitancy - a voluntarily chosen human behavior - cannot be in the same category as HIV, a virus that has killed 35 million people,' he wrote.

Pharma drug cartel just changed the definition of “high blood pressure” to trick HALF of U.S. adults into “treatment” with high-profit prescription drugs

Addicted to profit? Oxycontin dynasty pushed high doses of addictive painkiller as sales earned them $4BILLION - and wanted to cash in on NARCAN while 235,000 died of overdoses, claims lawsuit

Oxycontin dynasty the Sacklers allegedly pushed high doses of the painkiller and hoped to cash in on anti-overdose drug NARCAN while 235,000 Americans died from the opoid epidemic, according to an unredacted complaint filed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The lawsuit claims that Purdue Pharma and members of the Sackler family knew that patients on higher dosages of OxyContin for long periods were at an increased risk of serious side effects, including addiction, yet they continued to promote the high doses as they yielded the most profit.

A copy of the filing obtained by DailyMail.com shows that from 2008 to 2016, the Sackler family added $4.2 billion to their already massive fortune in profits derived just from the sale of prescription opioids.

Government to Facebook Pipeline Reveals a Corrupt Mix of Social Media and the State

TV news anchor announces over 90 out of 124 cases of measles in NY “epidemic” are vaccinated

When we report on what a news anchor states or a news source says, it’s always risky. Hence the reason we always put in the headline we are quoting from; you never know, things could change- it’s a chance all journalists take.

Case in point: we couldn’t believe our eyes today when the famous TV anchor, who used to be with CNN then CBS and now has a show on ABC to millions, posted about this story. That’s right, two-time, Emmy Award-winning Sharyl Attkisson posted this report.

Then we saw one of the oldest vaccine non-profits in the country, the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), from Washington, DC share this news as well. It had nearly 700 likes in a few minutes (it appears they shared it from the famous news anchor’s page). So we did an article about her reporting this news on her page and it went viral (no pun intended).

Robert F. Kennedy Jr Explains How Big Pharma Completely Owns Congress

Those of you who have been involved in the past in the battle to protect our children from poorly made vaccines or toxic chemicals in our food or in our water know the power of these industries and how they’ve undermined every institution in our democracy that is supposed to protect little children from powerful, greedy corporations. Even the pharmaceutical companies have been able to purchase congress. They’re the largest lobbying entity in Washington D.C.. They have more lobbyists in Washington D.C. than there are congressman and senators combined. They give twice to congress what the next largest lobbying entity is, which is oil and gas… Imagine the power they exercise over both republicans and democrats. They’ve captured them (our regulatory agencies) and turned them into sock puppets. They’ve compromised the press… and they destroy the publications that publish real science. (Robert F. Kennedy Jr, from the video below)

Childhood Vaccination Schedules Are Completely Out of Control and Dangerous!

Up, up and away!

This pretty much describes the CDC Childhood Immunization Schedule since 1950.

On February 1, 2016, the insanity continued as the CDC hiked the childhood immunization schedule even further by adding another 3 vaccinations and lowering the age for the first HPV jab (Gardasil) to 9 years old. The total is now an outrageous 74 doses (53 injections) by age 17, an increase of 24X since 1950.

Have our children become pin cushions of profit for the drug companies? Here’s the breakdown. You decide.

In 1950, there were 3 childhood vaccines typically given when a child entered school.

In 1983, there were 10 recommended vaccines by the age of 6 years old (24 doses, 7 injections, 4 oral doses for polio).

In 2010, the CDC vax schedule totaled 68 doses with more than half given by the time a child was only a year and a half old.

In 2016, the schedule has increased to 74 doses by age 17 with 53 injections and 3 oral doses of rotavirus.

Patients should remain free to choose kratom

The herbal supplement known as kratom has become a popular over-the-counter alternative treatment for chronic pain. Some people also claim it’s effective at alleviating symptoms of coughing, diarrhea, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. Although the Food and Drug Administration has claimed to link kratom to a few dozen overdose deaths, the National Institute on Drug Abuse points out that those cases involve adulterated doses and multiple drug interactions. There appear to be no clear cases of fatal overdose on kratom alone. No matter how many people use kratom safely and effectively, however, regulators focus only on the possibility of abuse. Their solution? Prohibition, of course.

OxyContin Maker Explored Expansion Into “Attractive” Anti-Addiction Market

The bad news had already had time to settle, and for the market corrections to happen. But what was really interesting is that the iPhone sales drop happened at what was otherwise a strong quarter. Technology: Distracting, Disturbing, Deceiving, & Deluding Ourselves To Death

“What Huxley teaches is that in the age of advanced technology, spiritual devastation is more likely to come from an enemy with a smiling face than from one whose countenance exudes suspicion and hate. In the Huxleyan prophecy, Big Brother does not watch us, by his choice. We watch him, by ours. There is no need for wardens or gates or Ministries of Truth.

When a population becomes distracted by trivia, when cultural life is redefined as a perpetual round of entertainments, when serious public conversation becomes a form of baby-talk, when, in short, a people become an audience and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; a culture-death is a clear possibility.” ? The Fat Free Revolution that Gave America Diarrhea

It’s not often that the reviews of a product on Amazon go viral. But that’s what happened with Haribo’s sugar-free gummy bears when people started calling them “Satan’s Hate Bears.”

Customers don’t object to the taste. “For taste I would rate these a 5,” one reviewer wrote. “I was a happy camper.”

No. The problem with the sugarless gummy bears is their unfortunate side effect of gastrointestinal distress. Or, to put it less delicately: extreme, debilitating diarrhea.

One reviewer compared the flatulence he experienced to “trumpets calling the demons back to Hell.” Another said digesting the gummy bears felt like a “violent hurricane… in my lower intestine.” A third suggested that the diarrhea-inducing gummy bears made an “ideal gift for your Congressional Representatives.” The product page has nearly 1,000 reviews like this.

WHY YOU CAN’T TRUST CDC ON VACCINES

As I have covered in previous articles for Children’s Health Defense, the fundamental assumptions underlying the recommendation of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that everyone aged six months and up should get an annual flu shot are unsupported by scientific evidence.

Examining a case study from the New York Times, we’ve seen how the corporate media manufacture consent for public vaccine policy by grossly misinforming their audiences about the science—and how, in doing so, the media are just following the CDC’s example. We’ve seen how the CDC uses deceptive fear marketing to increase demand for influenza vaccines, and how the CDC’s claims that flu vaccination significantly reduces deaths among the elderly have been thoroughly discredited by the scientific community.

Top FDA official says the agency is bowing to Big Pharma by approving new high risk opioid that is 10 times stronger than fentanyl despite doctors' warnings 'it will kill people'

The Food and Drug Administration is succumbing to Big Pharma's influence to keep approving lucrative opioids despite the toll they're taking on American lives, a top official at the agency claims.

Dr Raeford Brown, chair of the FDA's committee for reviewing opioid approvals, told the Guardian the agency is having a 'direct impact on the mortality rate from opioids in this country' by continuing to approve new high-risk drugs.

His words come after the FDA approved a controversial new opioid, Dsuvia, despite its own board of physicians warning the drug is easy to abuse and could cause more deaths.

Dr Brown was one of a number of committee members who, he claims, we deliberately barred from voting on Dsuvia because the in-person vote was scheduled for the same day as a conference that most of them were attending.

Medicine: Idolatry in the Twenty First Century

Are things any different today in terms of idolatry? It has taken on a different form, but it is in essence the same thing it has always been – trust in idols rather than God to supply our needs and desires. Modern-day culture has changed dramatically since the theory of Darwinian evolution came on the scene and dominated academics in western culture, so that today the physical world is exalted above all other realities. The spiritual world is either denied or ignored. Hence, creation of physical idols out of basic elements such as wood or metals is very uncommon, because current culture ignores the unseen world that could be represented by such physical manifestations.

Merck’s Recombivax Vaccine Shortage Causes Reduced Deaths In Babies

Following the cyber-attack in June 2017, for the first time in a very long time, researchers have the ability to view in plain sight, a natural experiment whereby one vaccine was abruptly swapped out for another – replacing the very adjuvant many critics are concerned about, AAHS – with an aluminum hydroxide adjuvant contained in Engerix-B. Neither has a published independent safety profile but AAHS is suspected to be more problematic due to its immunogenicity profile.

We now have more than a year’s worth of data to examine since the attack in 2017 when Engerix-B was introduced. On average there were 29 deaths reported annually for fifteen years prior to the attack (2003 to 2017). In 2018 there were only 6 reported (to end of November 2018). Two of those deaths followed Recombivax. Assuming the same death rate to the end of the year, at most there will be 7 deaths recorded, resulting in roughly 75% less deaths since Recombivax was discontinued as a pediatric vaccine.

House Votes Overwhelmingly to Bar US Exit From NATO

n a 357-22 vote on Tuesday, the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to pass the NATO Support Act, which expressed Congressional support for the alliance and forbids any funding for any move by the US to withdraw from NATO.

One of the first bills pushed through the new Democratic-majority House, the vote saw every single voting Democrat, 208 of them, voting in favor. Only 22 Republicans voted against the bill. 54 representatives didn’t vote at all.

That reflects the scramble to get this vote quickly into the books and passed. Indeed, the bill went so fast from introduction to passage that the text of the bill was not even available on the Congressional website yet.

The bill is intended as a companion to a bipartisan Senate version which would forbid any effort by the president to withdraw from NATO without Senate approval. It does not appear the House version provides a mechanism for approval, however, instead just making staying in NATO an absolute requirement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is to ensure that the coming wars may have enough troop strength to fight them, until the US resumes the draft.

It also makes me think that NATO is very concerned about the new EU Army, created last week, courtesy of France's Macron and Germany's Angela Merkel.

PREPPING FOR BANKRUPTCY, PG&E SECURES $5.5 BILLION IN “DEBTOR-IN-POSSESSION” FINANCING. WHAT IS “DIP” FINANCING?

So what is DIP financing? How can a company that is about to default on all its debts and obligations even qualify for an additional $5.5 billion in debt? And why would banks be nuts enough to do it?

These are very timely questions, as a coming wave of bankruptcy filings by over-indebted Corporate America is shaping up on the horizon. Bankruptcy is a profit opportunity for an industry specialized in it. This includes the biggest banks, bankruptcy lawyers, restructuring advisory firms, and others. They’re already licking their chops.

So here we go, step by step, using PG&E’s disclosure as guideposts.

COLLATERAL FOR DIP LOANS: EVERYTHING AHEAD OF EVERYONE ELSE.
In its SEC disclosure, PG&E said that borrowings under DIP financing “would be senior secured obligations of the Utility, secured by substantially all of the Utility’s assets and entitled to superpriority administrative expense claim status in the Utility’s bankruptcy case.”

Study: On Facebook And Twitter Your Privacy Is At Risk—Even If You Don’t Have An Account

By University of Vermont

A new study shows that privacy on social media is like second-hand smoke. It’s controlled by the people around you.

Individual choice has long been considered a bedrock principle of online privacy. If you don’t want to be on Facebook, you can leave or not sign up in the first place. Then your behavior will be your own private business, right?

The new study presents powerful evidence that the answer to that question is no...

Mind control and “the flu virus”

On Monday, I exposed the fact that most “flu” is not the flu.

For example, here is a quite suggestive quote from Peter Doshi’s report, “Are US flu death figures more PR than science?” (BMJ 2005; 331:1412):

“[According to CDC statistics], ‘influenza and pneumonia’ took 62,034 lives in 2001—61,777 of which were attributable to pneumonia and 257 to flu, and in only 18 cases was the flu virus positively identified.”

OOPS.

Twins get some 'mystifying' results when they put 5 DNA ancestry kits to the test

One set of identical twins, two different ancestry profiles.

At least that's the suggestion from one of the world's largest ancestry DNA testing companies.

Last spring, Marketplace host Charlsie Agro and her twin sister, Carly, bought home kits from AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, 23andMe, FamilyTreeDNA and Living DNA, and mailed samples of their DNA to each company for analysis.

Despite having virtually identical DNA, the twins did not receive matching results from any of the companies.

Imagine if the Media Had as Much Sympathy for Small Business Owners as it Does for Federal Employees

This isn’t to say that the media never covers these topics. But it is fairly safe to say that beyond publications intended specifically for business readers, ordinary media outlets have rarely showed much interest in examining the plight of small business owners in a way similar to how they’ve been covering the effect of the current shutdown on federal workers. Rarely does mainstream coverage emphasize the daily problems that small business owners face in providing payroll for workers (and themselves), meeting customer demands, and keeping the lights on.

Tesla to recall over 14,000 Model S cars in China amid industry-wide crackdown on exploding airbags

Tesla is recalling 14,213 Model S vehicles produced between 2014 and 2016 over defective airbags that could blow up and send shrapnel into the driver's and front seat passenger's faces, a Chinese watchdog has said.

The measure is a part of an industry-wide recall of Takata airbags, whose safety woes have been plaguing the automotive industry since at least 2013.

The company, which at one point held 20 percent of the airbag market, went bankrupt in 2017 after recalling more than 100 million cars, including 70 million in the US. It was taken over by car parts maker Key Safety Systems (KSS).
