Judicial Watch Sues CIA for Inspector General’s Report on Mena, Arkansas, Airport CIA Drug, Arms Smuggling Allegations during the Reagan administration to smuggle arms to rebels in Nicaragua

Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the CIA seeking the CIA Inspector General’s November 1996 report related to a drug-running, arms smuggling and intelligence operation involving Mena Intermountain Municipal Airport in Arkansas.

The airfield in Mena was alleged to have been used in the 1980s by the CIA during the Reagan administration to smuggle arms to rebels in Nicaragua. A central figure in the operation was Barry Seal, a pilot and drug smuggler for Pablo Escobar’s Medellin cartel who became an undercover agent and informant for the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

In November 1996, then-CIA Inspector General Frederick Hitz absolved the CIA of involvement in the operation.

'Routine, Responsible Journalism': New York Times Sends Pieces to US Government for Approval

On 15th June, the New York Times reported that Washington was “stepping up digital incursions into Russia’s electric power grid in a warning to President Vladimir Putin”. The article enraged President Donald Trump, who took to Twitter to attack the outlet, calling the “not true” story “a virtual act of treason by a once great paper”.

“Anything goes with our corrupt news media today. They will do, or say, whatever it takes, with not even the slightest thought of consequence! These are true cowards and without doubt, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!” he fulminated.

In response, the paper’s public relations account said accusing the press of treason was “dangerous”, and claimed its reporters had “described the article to the government before publication”.

NATO Tells Russia To Destroy New Missile Or Face Consequences

NATO defense ministers will hold talks on Wednesday over their next move if Russia doesn't destroy a new missile system that could allow for short-notice nuclear attacks throughout Europe, which the United States has said violates the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), according to Reuters.

"We call on Russia to take the responsible path, but we have seen no indication that Russia intends to do so," said Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg at a news conference, adding "We will need to respond."

While he declined to go into further detail, diplomats have said their defense ministers will consider allowing more flights over Europe by nuclear-capable US warplanes, as well as more military training and the strategic repositioning of US sea-based missiles.

The dispute has deepened a fissure in East-West ties that severely deteriorated after Russia’s seizure of Crimea and its involvement in Syria. -Reuters

Webmaster's Commentary:

Reuters, you pitiful;codswallop-creating intellectually-crippled dolts: your revisionist history of what happened with Crimea, and Syria are falsehoods of such immense magnitude, that I barely know where to start. So let's do this YET AGAIN!!

In light of your seeming to still collectively be suffering from an almost pathological case of SMD, (Selective Memory Disorder), let's set the way-back machine to 2014. I promise to try to use small words, which hopefully won't confuse you too terribly.

In 2014, Ukraine suffered from an alleged"color revolution" (translation: the US and Western Europe, were fomenting unrest yet again), and the duly, and legally elected President of Ukraine, President Yanukovich, was officially "thrown under the proverbial bus", and - in an election which was more crooked than is a dog's hind leg - "anointed" Poroshenko (the Chocolate King, remember?!?) as his successor because he was nominally more western-centric than was his successor.

Apparently, Reuters, it has escaped your US collective government-centric gaze, that not only did Victoria Nuland share to a private audience, and was videoed, about the US Government, having spent $5 billion dollars of taxpayers' money to subvert Ukraine Victoria Nuland's Admits Washington Has Spent $5 Billion to "Subvert Ukraine", but none other than President Obama actually confessed, on a CNN interview with Fareed Zakaria, that he was a part of a group which made such subversion possible. Washington Was Behind Ukraine Coup: Obama admits that US “Brokered a Deal” in Support of “Regime Change”

$5 billion dollars is not chump change, even in these spectacularly inflationary times. And one has to wonder, with Poroshenko having lost this years' election, if anyone of those accountable for this fiasco, have had a tiny bit of "Buyer's remorse" about getting this guy elected.

What Crimea did, which is at the heart of the UN charter, regarding peaceful self determination, when they understood that there was no viable, citizen-chosen government in Kiev, was two things; they had a free and fair referendum, asking the people of Crimea, post-coup, if they wanted to stay with Ukraine, or petition Russia to become a member of the Russian Federation; by an overwhelming majority, Crimeans voted to petition the Russian Federation to become a member of Russia, and the Russian Federation accepted their petition.

As you probably do not know this, as history was never your strong suite, collectively, but Crimea was a part of Russia, before it was annexed to Ukraine by Kruschev in 1954: The 1954 transfer of Crimea to Russia by Kruschev

Now, let's take a look at Syria, shall we?!?

Seeing just how "brilliantly" the American regime changes/occupations of Iraq; Afghanistan; and Libya were going, Russia's President Putin believed that he had a responsibility to make sure that the duly elected president of Syria, Bashar Al-Assad, had the opportunity to stay in office, and with the help of the Russian Military, Al-Assad's forces were able able to wipe out most of the US and Israeli-funded and trained jihadis there, leaving only a few small pockets of resistance.

"What, What,?!?" you say, in a gasp of faux surprise?!?, HOW CAN THIS BE?!? AREN'T THE JIHADISTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST, SUPPOSED TO BE THE US'S MOST HORRIBLE THREAT EVER?!? YES, REUTERS, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY.

Inside Israel’s Secret Program to Back Syrian Rebels Fighters were armed and paid to keep Iranian-linked forces away from Israel’s border. How many Iranian linked forces were, and actually are, still in Syria, remains to be seen.

America Created Al-Qaeda and the Isis Terror Group

Reuters, can you please JUST STOP LYING, because I am going to embarrass the hell out of you with the facts, every damned time I can, if you continue to do this; and it has become pathological on your part, recently!!

Please count on it!!

Mainstream Media Faults Trump for Not Following Through on Iran Attack - Not blundering into a war with Iran seen as a sign of weakness

To be sure, Thursday was meant to be the start of the US-Iran War which hawks have been trying to piece together for generations. Trump ordered the attack, but ultimately, called it off a mere 10 minutes from a strike.

What had been a subject of debate was now USA Today accusing Trump of “not following through.” As concerning as blundering into a huge war in the Middle East had been, the new talking point was Trump showing weakness, and per Kori Schake of the Atlantic, damaging “America’s credibility.”

America can, after all, usually be counted on to react hastily, and stumble into what are in retrospect unfortunate wars. That Trump managed to just barely avoid the siren’s song of war was outside the expectation of American allies, and now they don’t know what to think. NBC News was quick to accuse Trump of “indecision” and declared it would “embolden Iran.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

So let me get this straight; the US military, and the Presidency are now being taken to task, for not starting this potentially protracted war of attrition, for which our military is utterly unprepared, because it doesn't have the troop strength; the weaponry; the money; or the manufacturing?!?

And we know, at least with Samantha Vinograd, where her foreign policy views come from; she was a featured presenter at last year's AIPAC Conference:

2018: AIPAC Conference Featured speakers included CNN'S Samantha Vinograd

With Kori Shake, we know a little bit about her background Kori Shake, Hoover institution bio

I would like to politely state, that whatever credibility President Trump started with, in 2017, he absolutely and thoroughly blew to smithereens, by very publicly backing the notion, that everything Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu and his biggest US contributor, Sheldon Adelson, wanted in the Middle East, they would get from his administration.

So, what has he done so far, in that support?!? He has declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel; he has withdrawn the US from the P5+1 treaty with Iran, and thrown crippling sanctions on the Iranian government; he has also, for good measure, created a definition, by executive order, of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, as "terrorists".

And in an absolutely potentially insane win/win for Tel Aviv, he has conjured up a "Pax Americana in the Middle East", being hawked by his son-in-law, Jarod ("The Magnificent") Kushner, which is DOA, because all sovereignty of Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem ,as well as the Golan Heights, would now be recognised as official Israeli territory, period, end of discussion.

What the whole of the White House seems pathologically incapable of understanding (or, more correctly, do not want to understand), is, that for Palestinians, money is not the objective in any peace deal with Israel, although the money offered here may seem attractive; it is sovereignty over a bit of land to call their own, which drives the Palestinian movement.

And to add insult to historical injury, Israeli engineers, in creating new settler developments, have placed them in such a manner, that there is no way for a contiguous State of Palestine to exist, at this point.

So to Kori and Samantha, please, don't despair; as I type this, I am very sure that if President Trump does NOT want to start a war, your hero in Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Netanyahu, is talking to his military ops right now, and has had lengthy discussions about how to "get this party started", and goad the American government into a war in Iran, from which they cannot walk away.

The Exceptionally American Historical Amnesia Behind Pompeo’s Claim of ‘40 Years of Unprovoked Iranian Aggression’

Someone attacked two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman last week. The Trump administration wants the world to believe that Iran is the culprit. Yet there is no serious evidence that Tehran was behind the attacks on the Norwegian and Japanese ships. Not only is there no proof of Iranian involvement, such an attack by Iran makes no sense at all. Japan and Iran are friends. Just last month, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe – who was visiting Tehran during the tanker incident – affirmed this friendship in the presence of Donald Trump during the US president’s recent state visit to Japan. Most importantly of all, the crew and owner of the Japanese tanker attacked in the gulf vehemently reject the US claim that the vessel was damaged by a mine, asserting instead that a “flying object” struck the ship.

Fool Me Twice

Yogi Berra experienced “deja vu, all over again”. Marx revised Hegel, saying history repeats itself first as tragedy, then as farce. Bush the Lesser, riffing on who to blame for being fooled, got lost in his trope. Now unctuous, obtuse Pompeo is selling war on Iran, bringing all three to mind.

You’d heard the one about the Gulf of Tonkin LBJ pitched? And the one about Iraqi WMD Step’nfetchit Powell sold, ominously shaking a vial of foot powder? And Obama’s somber rap about “Assad gassing his own people”?

The question now is whether the American Public will do Charlie Brown to Lucy’s football trick again? Sophisticated tech makes it harder for psychos in power to just lie. They need plausible visuals to back their bullshit but, used to relying on lies alone, they’re not clear on the concept.

The Guardian’s direct collusion with media censorship by secret services exposed

Minutes of Ministry of Defence (MoD) meetings have confirmed the role of Britain’s Guardian newspaper as a mouthpiece for the intelligence agencies.

Last week, independent journalist Matt Kennard revealed that the paper’s deputy editor, Paul Johnson, was personally thanked by the Defence and Security Media Advisory Notice (or D-Notice) committee for integrating the Guardian into the operations of the security services.

Minutes of a meeting in 2018 read: “The Chairman thanked Paul Johnson for his service to the Committee. Paul had joined the Committee in the wake of the Snowden affair and had been instrumental in re-establishing links with the Guardian.”

D-Notices are used by the British state to veto the publication of news damaging to its interests. The slavish collusion of the mainstream media ensures that such notices function as gag orders.

US Troops in Iraq See Surge in ‘Indirect Fire,’ Some Look to Blame Iran

The escalation of US tensions with Iran has centered greatly, at least within the narrative, on Iraq. The idea is that US troops are endangered in Iraq, and that Iranian proxies, who are actually part of the Iraqi government, are plotting against them.

And just because nothing ever happens doesn’t mean that isn’t going to continue to be a talking point, as US officials talk about “indirect fire” attacks in Iraq, with indirect in this case meaning they don’t appear to be firing directly at the US forces.

Officials say they are perceiving an increase in the amount of mortar and rocket fire in Iraq. Which would be dangerous to US troops, except US targets aren’t actually being hit. It’s just that the US has so many targets in Iraq that something they have “come close.” The military confirmed there were no casualties, but declined to report on the number of these not-really-attacks that took place.

NETANYAHU TO BOLTON: ANY PALESTINE DEAL ‘MUST INCLUDE’ ISRAELI PRESENCE IN JORDAN VALLEY

SOURCE: RT

Benjamin Netanyahu, who on Sunday toured the West Bank with John Bolton, said he will listen to US peace proposals – but added that “any future agreement” with Palestine must guarantee an Israeli presence in the Jordan Valley.
Footage posted on Sunday showed Israel’s prime minister and the US national security adviser overlooking the Israeli-occupied area from an aircraft and on the ground, with Netanyahu seen giving Bolton an excursion.

Speaking English on camera standing next to Bolton, the PM rammed the message home that Israel will not be leaving the area under any deal, saying it ensures “the minimal strategic depth and strategic height for the defense of our country.”

Netanyahu was also adamant that the Israeli presence in the Jordan Valley “guarantees stability and security for the entire region,” and that the IDF leaving the occupied Palestinian lands would result in “war and terror.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bolton will be sure to bring Netanyahu's "marching orders" to Trump; Ivanka; and Kuchner; but what was singularly missing from this "photo op", is any mention of Iran.

One has to wonder if Netanyahu chose not to share what Israel is preparing to do to Iran with Kushner so that the US government, at the highest level, would have plausible deniability here.

But I am sensing something that the Israeli government is planning some kind of military activity against Iran, both brutal, and short, will go from planning to execution phase very shortly.

With a snap election, coming up in less than 2 months, and the Knesset having been dissolved, Netanyahu cannot wait much more, before he does something that makes him look "butch" to his constituents, and favored to win the next election.

Netanyahu may well decide, as one of his options, on a "false flag" to be used against American assets in and around the Gulf region,(IF he thinks he can get away with it) as the "excuse" for the US to invade Iran; and were that to happen, I might suggest that it might be scheduled approximately, to coincide with the United State's 4th of July Celebration for Independence day, a US National holiday, which is generally observed by most Americans.

The former president of the Manhattan Young Democrats and giant pedophile Jacob Schwartz is suing New York City for pack pay, claiming that he was unfairly compensated for overtime.

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE

The former president of the Manhattan Young Democrats and giant pedophile Jacob Schwartz is suing New York City for pack pay, claiming that he was unfairly compensated for overtime.

Schwartz, 31, recently pleaded guilty to possessing a large trove of child porn on his laptop, according to Fox News. The former Department of Design and Construction employee was arrested in 2017 after police found over 3,000 images of child pornography and 89 videos. Some of the victims were as young as 6 months old.

Schwartz is demanding $18,000 - claiming that for the two years he was working for the city at $66,000 per year he was usually paid "comp time" instead of time and a half when working over 40 hours in a week.

A $25 RASPBERRY PI WAS USED TO HACK NASA'S MISSION SYSTEM

SOURCE: TRUTHTHEORY.COM

By Mayukh Saha / Truth Theory

In another bizarre ‘How on earth was it possible?’ news, one of NASA’s labs was hacked last year by a $25 Raspberry Pi Device. This news comes after a survey was taken of the breach and related security issues in NASA.

Unbelievable.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is specifically designed to send robots to space was hacked last year. The hacker took 500 MB of important data which was all about the next missions that NASA was involved in. How? Well, they simply used a $25 Raspberry Pi which successfully breached through the paltry security of the place.

HUNDREDS OF 737 MAX PILOTS SUE BOEING OVER 'UNPRECEDENTED COVER-UP"

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
Over 400 pilots have joined a class-action lawsuit against Boeing, accusing the company of an "unprecedented cover-up" of "known design flaws" on the company's top-selling 737 MAX, according to the Australian Broadcasting Company.

The MAX, first put into service in 2017, was involved in two fatal crashes over the course of a year; the first off the coast of Indonesia in October 2018, killing 189 - and the second in Ethiopia, killing 157.

The lawsuit, filed by a plaintiff who goes by "Pilot X" in court documents out of "fear of reprisal from Boeing and discrimination from Boeing customers," accuses the Chicago-based aviation giant of "an unprecedented cover-up of the known design flaws of the MAX, which predictably resulted in the crashes of two MAX aircraft and subsequent grounding of all MAX aircraft worldwide."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Good; it is high time that one of our aircraft manufacturers take full responsibility for what happened with the MAX design.

I would love to see whoever signed off on this, at Boeing, tried, convicted, and jailed for a long, long time, to let other aircraft manufacturers understand that this is NOT something they can do, and with which they can get away.

THE WEST’S LOSING BATTLE FOR HONG KONG

SOURCE: NEW EASTERN OUTLOOK

Another pivotal battle is being fought over Hong Kong between Beijing and political forces backed by the special administrative region’s former British colonial masters.

At the heart of the battle is a proposed law that will allow suspects to be extradited to mainland China, Taiwan or Macau.

The BBC in its article, “Hong Kong lawmakers fight over extradition law,” would claim:

Critics believe the proposed switch to the extradition law would erode Hong Kong’s freedoms.

By “critics,” the BBC is referring to US and British-backed opposition, with the article specifically linking recent protests against the proposed law to the US-funded “Umbrella Movement” demonstrations in 2014.

The slow, incremental erosion of Western influence in Hong Kong and elsewhere across Asia-Pacific appears to be ending what has been centuries of European and then American primacy over the region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At this juncture in US/China relations, the US, and the West in general, needs to pick its battles very, very strategically.

NO EVIDENCE ISLAMIC STATE HAD FOREKNOWLEDGE OF SRI LANKA BOMBINGS, SAYS OFFICIAL

SOURCE: INTELNEWS.ORG
It is not at all clear that the Islamic State and its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who claimed responsibility of the Sri Lanka bombings in April, had foreknowledge of the attacks, according to a top official. The militant Sunni group claimed it was behind the nine suicide blasts that targeted Catholic churches and five-star hotels in Sri Lanka’s western and eastern coastal regions on April 21. The near-simultaneous bombings killed 258 people and injured over 500. They are believed to constitute the bloodiest terrorist attack in the country’s history. Interestingly, many questioned the authenticity of the Islamic State’s claim of responsibility, which came a full two days following the deadly blasts. The group typically issues statements immediately following attacks by its followers around the world. The 48-hour delay in the case of the Sri Lanka bombings, therefore, was deemed “uncharacteristic” by some experts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this report is true (hard to prove, either way) it gives us yet another insight as to how these groups act, and exchange information.

The video, in al-Baghdadi's hands, would, of course, be a PR "coup", even if it was not his group directly, but some underlings who actually did this attack, before he even knew it had happened.

US-CHINA ECONOMIC WARFARE: CHINESE ENTERPRISES BLACKLISTED BY THE US

SOURCE: GLOBALRESEARCH.CA

The US considers China a strategic adversary. Waging war on the China by other means makes reconciling major bilateral differences all the harder.

According to a US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) document, 143 tech-related Chinese enterprises have been blacklisted from the US market.

They include companies involved in producing aviation related products, semiconductors, engineering, as well as other high-tech products and components.

Falsely claiming these enterprises act “contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States” is cover for wanting corporate America to have a leg up on Chinese competition.

On Friday, the BIS added five more Chinese tech enterprises to its blacklist, further heightening bilateral tensions ahead of China’s President Xi Jinping’s scheduled meeting with Trump for talks later this week at the Osaka, Japan G20 summit.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but I have a very clear understanding of how trade wars, can morph quickly into shooting wars; and Mr. President, let me assure you; this would be absolutely the worst time ever to confront China militarily.

You've seen reports on Chinese and Russian weapons technology; the US is not even close here.

And why is that?!? Because of the "cosy" relationships between weapons manufacturers and political candidates, who can steer work their way. Henceforward, there should be NO money received at the state or national level, from major contractors, or subcontractors for these products. There should be a vetting process before our military ever try these weaons.

And if companies cannot perform, in terms of offering new, less costly technologies which consistently get delivered on time, and as advertised, there should be a clause in all defense contracts that by not doing so, that company can no longer compete for federal defense contracts.

GOOGLE'S CHROME WEB BROWSER "HAS BECOME SPY SOFTWARE"

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE

Google's Chrome is essentially spy software according to Washington Post tech columnist Geoffrey Fowler, who spent a week analyzing the popular browser and concluded that it "looks a lot like surveillance software."

Fowler has since switched to Mozilla's Firefox because of its default privacy settings, and says that it was easier than one might imagine.

My tests of Chrome vs. Firefox unearthed a personal data caper of absurd proportions. In a week of Web surfing on my desktop, I discovered 11,189 requests for tracker “cookies” that Chrome would have ushered right onto my computer but were automatically blocked by Firefox. These little files are the hooks that data firms, including Google itself, use to follow what websites you visit so they can build profiles of your interests, income and personality.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Those currently using Chrome as your default browser, may want to take a good look as to whether this software is tracking you in areas you don't want to be tracked.

IF you decide to disable the software, or have it disabled, it would probably make sense to make absolutely certain that any vestige of the program is completely disabled, and that may be harder to do than you might have imagined.

GEORGE SOROS RECEIVES JOSEPH A. SCHUMPETER AWARD

SOURCE: ECONOMIC POLICY JOURNAL

Earlier today, George Soros, the chair and founder of the Open Society Foundations, was presented with the globalist (in the worst sense of the term) Joseph A. Schumpeter Award for innovative achievements in the field of business, economics, or economic policy, at a ceremony at the National Bank of Austria, in Vienna.

The award was presented by Ewald Nowotny, the bank’s governor and president of the Vienna Schumpeter Society, who cited Soros’s “commitment to freedom and the promotion of the pursuit of knowledge.”

“We are honoring George Soros with the Schumpeter Prize for making the world more open, more just and more equitable for all,” he said.

Past insider globalist recipients of the award have included former German chancellor Helmut Kohl, the former president of the European Commission Romano Prodi, and current president of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi

Webmaster's Commentary:

The only problem people have, in living in a society the "One Worlders, like Soros and his ilk want created, is that the chaos which ensues, when you bring people into a country, who have utterly zero respect for that countries' history, language, and tradition, is punitively disruptive for the people already living and working there.

I am quite certain that Soros; Draghi; and the current German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, have a cadre of armed guards around themselves, and their properties, 24/7, to insure that nothing like the horrific scenes we have seen in Germany; UK; and Sweden, ever happen to them, their families, or the places they call "home".

Unfortunately, the rest of Europe.... has not been so lucky.

DEAD ON ARRIVAL: A BRIEF POST-MORTEM ON THE US' REGIME-CHANGE OPERATION IN VENEZUELA

SOURCE: JOAQUIN FLORES VIA THE STRATEGIC CULTURE FOUNDATION
They say hindsight is 20/20, and nothing exemplifies that more than the kind of post-mortem that can be done on the failed attempt by the US to overthrow the government of Venezuela. Working through the lack of options that the US has in terms of regime-change in Venezuela, should lead towards a higher degree of investor confidence in the Bolivarian Republic.

We understand that there are ultimately only three ways to attack a target state until it collapses:

Supporting an internal coup/revolution or terrorism;

Economic embargo perhaps leading to or justified by 1, and;

Military invasion justified by the government’s reaction to 1

WALMART USES AI CAMERA TECH TO TRACK CHECKOUT THEFT AT 1,000 STORES

SOURCE: ENGADGET

Walmart's early use of AI at its stores isn't just for the sake of convenience. The retailer has confirmed to Business Insider that it's using camera-based computer vision tech to deter theft and losses at its checkouts (including self-checkouts) in over 1,000 stores. The simply titled Missed Scan Detection program notifies attendants if an item moves past a scanner without an actual scan, giving staff a chance to step in. Most of the incidents are unintentional, such as forgetful shoppers or fatigued cashiers, but Walmart is clearly hoping this will deter thieves hoping to make off with unscanned items.

The store chain is using tech from several companies, including Everseen. The technology has been in use for the past two years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This kind of AI is most probably in use at a number of other stores, and most likely for quite some time; they just haven't mentioned it to their clientele yet.

4 New Reasons to Fear a Universal Basic Income

By Antony Sammeroff

Most of us have heard the arguments from the Left on the emancipatory power of the Universal Basic Income Guarantee to free us from the chains of work, stress and poverty, and to liberate the creative impulses of man. We also hear from conservatives like Charles Murray, who stress that welfare cliffs under the current system create a poverty trap, where by earning more people will take home less, creating a permanent disincentive to work which the UBI would partially solve.

There is a contingent of libertarians who also hold the view that the UBI is better than the current system...These are my arguments appealing specifically to libertarians rather than economic progressives...

Provoking Iran Could Start A War And Crash The Entire World Economy

Authored by Federico Pieraccini via The Strategic Culture Foundation,

Tensions in the Persian Gulf are reaching a point of no return. In recent weeks, six oil tankers have been subjected to Israeli sabotage disguised to look like Iranian attacks to induce the United States to take military action against the Islamic Republic. Some days ago Iran rightfully shot out of the sky a US Drone. In Yemen, the Houthis have finally started responding with cruise and ballistic missiles to the Saudis’ indiscriminate attacks, causing damage to the Saudi international airport of Abha, as well as blocking, through explosive drones, Saudi oil transportation from east to west through one of the largest pipelines in the world.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing that the US government and Military could do, unfortunately, is utterly no guarantee that the US and its military, will not do it.

I am relieved that Trump did call off the airstrike, but the question remains, as to what both the US and Israel plan to do now, since the airstrikes were called off.

But the biggest "clout" President Trump had, when he took office, was the US's support for the P5+1 deal, from which he has withdrawn American support.

I would imagine that Iranian leadership must be thinking that President Trump might be slightly bi-polar, to make such a "switcheroo" on the the actual attack, just 10 minutes before declaring he had done it. I think, reasonably, the Iranians can find no comfortable "middle Ground" with this President, consider his withdrawing the US from the P5+1 agreement.

So what does President Trump have with which he can negotiate now ?!?

He's got an industrial-strength "Frenemy" with Israel's Netanyahu, who will use every opportunity to trap President Trump into a no-win, horrific war, which will most certainly be a war of attrition; in fact, I would rather count on Israel to attempt to pull another "USS Liberty event" (That was when Israel attempted to destroy an American Naval ship, and desperately tried to blame Egypt for it) if they think they can get away with it.

And let's not forget Trump's other BFF in the Middle East, regional neighbor and huge oil producer in Saudi Arabia, currently being run by the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Bin Salman.

How much actual military support against Iran can President Trump expect from both Bin Salman, and the Saudi military?!?

President Trump needs every good opportunity to hand, with regard to Iran; unfortunately, he has very little to offer right now, except for a (potentially deferred) invasion, which will never resolve either the political, and/or economic issues in the region.

Mass Surveillance Is Coming to a City Near YouA tech entrepreneur wants to track the residents of a high-crime American community.

The tech entrepreneur Ross McNutt wants to spend three years recording outdoor human movements in a major U.S. city, KMOX news radio reports.

If that sounds too dystopian to be real, you’re behind the times. McNutt, who runs Persistent Surveillance Systems, was inspired by his stint in the Air Force tracking Iraqi insurgents. He tested mass-surveillance technology over Compton, California, in 2012. In 2016, the company flew over Baltimore, feeding information to police for months (without telling city leaders or residents) while demonstrating how the technology works to the FBI and Secret Service.

The goal is noble: to reduce violent crime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How do you "prevent" violent crime? What this guy is explaining, is full-frontal surveillance, not crime prevention.

City and State legislators understand how to prevent crime, or at least, most of it. And what is key is that:

1. We educate all of our children, as though it matters for all our kids. Be on the cutting edge of changes in the workforce, and how they will effect your students when they graduate, so that they will be educated for those jobs which will still exist in American society.

2. Lower class size, so that kids who are behind the 8-ball educationally, can catch up. Because if you lose a kid in elementary school, that young adult will probably put himself, or herself in harm's way, (stealing, running drugs, and winding up in prisons with no real hope for behaviour modifications, to prevent these episodes from happening in the future.)

3. Teachers, stay as close to the parents (or legal guardians) of the kids you teach as possible, maybe face timing, or Skyping with them, on a monthly basis.

4. Analyze why private schools are having more success in teaching children, than do most public school teachers are right now, according to open-sourced records.

5. Find out what really works, in a way that makes kids excited about coming to school on a daily basis.

6. Cities and States in the US, start legalizing all drugs, to take a big bite of cartel revenue; if you do this, then kids will become less incentivized to get involved with gangs.

7. Stop "teaching to the test", because at the end of the day, each child has their own unique way of understanding material. If they are right in their understanding, so much the better, but let them come to the answers by independent means.

8. And get rid of teachers' unions. Once tenured, a really not-well-performing teacher, is almost impossible to fire, no matter what they have done, or not done.

9. Teach kids to work collaboratively; working with and within a group, gives kids the opportunity to work with others, respectfully, and intelligently; that is never a handicap, for the people who learn these skills early.

I know that I have said a few things here that are going to get me in deep "kim chee" (hot water), particularly with teachers and teachers' unions; but perhaps, these are words which needed to be said, particularly at this moment in time, when our kids are having a hard time learning, and are not measuring up to the academic accomplishments of other kids internationally, along with some horrible insights about inner-city public schools in this country:

Can you skip 47 days of high School, and still graduate?!? The story goes on to state:

"Can you skip 47 days of class and still graduate? In Maryland's largest school system, the answer is yes. But the larger question is, in make up tests, how are these kids managing to get a passing grade without attending classes?

A Formula for Failure in L.A. Schools - Los Angeles Times

Developing Countries Lead in Education Innovation: Old-line government schools are failing many children, especially in low-income neighborhoods.

U.S. students’ academic achievement still lags that of their peers in many other countries

And we have a google reference to the following: "The U.S. ranks 17th in educational performance. According to the report, The Learning Curve, developed by the Economist Intelligence Unit, the United States ranks seventeenth out of forty countries ranked in overall educational performance. Finland ranks first."

Government School Cheating Scandal; How teachers learned to cheat

And Mr. President, in order to "make America Great Again", you have to make American education the best in the world, in order that it "stay great."

You're welcome!!

Whistleblower Who Warned About False Flag Attacks to Justify U.S. Invasion of Iran Found Dead, YouTube Channel Removed

Whistleblower David Goldberg, a resident of New York City, has reportedly died of unknown causes.

Yesterday, the governmentslaves.news site reported that the White House insider who was quoted — David Goldberg (59 years old) — has since been found dead in his New York apartment on June 8th. His death is being investigated and no cause of death has yet been disclosed.

Goldberg also said that a false flag attack would be used to escalate the situation, which appears to be what we’ve seen take place in the Gulf of Oman with the two attack of two oil tankers.

In April of 2019, Goldberg warned the world of a false flag attack planned by the U.S. Military and Intelligence Community working in concert with Israel’s Mossad.

A FLORIDA CITY PAID A $600,000 BITCOIN RANSOM TO HACKERS WHO TOOK OVER ITS COMPUTERS — AND IT'S A MASSIVE ALARM BELL FOR THE REST OF THE US

SOURCE: BUSINESSINSIDER.COM

A Florida city's council voted to pay a ransom of $600,000 in Bitcoin to hackers that targeted its computer systems — and the payout is a sign of how unprepared much of the US is to deal with a coming wave of cyberattacks.

The city council of Riviera Beach, Florida, 50 miles north of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, voted on Monday to meet the demands of its hackers in hope of getting back the city's compromised data, CBS News reported.

According to The Palm Beach Post, the attack began on May 29, when an employee from the police department opened an email attachment that contained malware.

The software quickly spread through the city's computer systems, affecting its email system and even the 911 dispatch operations.

The New York Times reported that the hackers demanded their ransom in bitcoin. The paper said there was no guarantee the hackers would honor their end of the deal after getting the money.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Baltimore is still hurting from a cyber attack a couple of months ago, and it still hasn't come out from under the horrific mess it created.

BIOTECH, PHARMA, AND HEALTHCARE FIRMS REPORT HIGH LEVELS OF CYBERSECURITY INCIDENTS AND FRAUD

SOURCE: NATURALBLAZE.COM

By Sofia Adamson

As documented in an international study for the 2017-18, Kroll Annual Global Fraud & Risk Report, cyber security and fraud threats continue to achieve high levels in the biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals industry.

78% of respondents reported that their companies had encountered an information threat or cyber incident, attack, or loss over the past twelve months. Only 7 out of 10 (67%) documented the existence of at least one security crash during the past 12 months.

The document unveils that respondents in the biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals industry have a higher sense of susceptibility to security, fraud, and cyber risks, with information-related threats now being the part of highest concern.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The unasked question here, seems to be how can their systems be so sensitive to hacks and attacks, and what can they do to stop this?!?

As all medical records are required to be in electronic format in the US, why isn't the DHT more forthcoming in giving health professionals more robust tools, for countering these problems?!? I mean, The Department of Homeland Security should have the capability for providing some tools available for those most in the most urgent need of cyber security, right?!?

and yet, we barely hear a yawn from DHS on this urgent problem.

OREGON SENATE CLOSES DUE TO ‘POSSIBLE MILITIA THREAT’ AFTER REPUBLICAN WALKOUT

SOURCE: FOX NEWS

The Oregon state Senate closed Saturday after a “possible militia threat” from a right-wing group -- amid a broader drama over a walkout by Republican lawmakers over looming climate change legislation.

Right-wing groups posted their support for the 12 rebel Republicans on Friday, including one group -- the Oregon Three Percenters -- who joined in an armed takeover of a wildlife refuge in 2016.

On Friday, a spokeswoman for Senate President Peter Courtney told The Associated Press that the Oregon state police “recommended that the Capitol be closed tomorrow due to a possible militia threat.”

Oregon State Police, in a statement, said it has been "monitoring information throughout the day that indicates the safety of legislators, staff and citizen visitors could be compromised if certain threatened behaviors were realized."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would tend to think of this as some Government-intelligence Psych-Ops, guaranteed to frighten both the Oregon legislature, and the people of Oregon.

The people from Oregon who I have met, tend to be very level-headed, and never hungry for this kind of confrontation.

US NED-FUNDED MEDDLING EXPOSED IN THE PHILIPPINES

The most recent manifestation of this can be seen in the Philippines where Manila has accused media front Rappler, founded by long-time CNN bureau chief Maria Ressa, and others of representing foreign interests and conspiring with foreign intelligence agencies in direct violation of the nation's constitution.

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) in its defense of Rappler would claim:

First were the politically motivated state charges that funding provided to the news website Rappler by a U.S. philanthropic foundation represented a violation of constitutional provisions barring foreign control or ownership of Philippine media.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF the charges by the Philippine government prove true, it would certainly not be the first time, that US media-operators in foreign countries, were accused of illegal activity.

Anti-Vaxxers are Dangerous and Should Be Arrested?

You may have noticed a recent article in The Washington Post by Juliette N. Kayyem entitled “Anti-vaxxers are dangerous. Make them face isolation, fines, arrests.”1

My initial reaction was the article must have been written by a moron. However, my opinion changed when I discovered the author, Ms. Kayyem, who graduated from Harvard law school in 1995. So, it appears this article is a carefully crafted piece of pro-vaccine industry propaganda. In other words, a large pile of nonsense and misinformation masquerading as authoritative information. Propaganda pieces typically contain nonsense and blatant lies. That’s OK because the “Big Lie” becomes believable if repeated often enough. (Who Said That?)9 Let’s take a look at the main point and the most glaring falsehood in the article: “Anti-Vaxxers Are Dangerous.”

JOHNSON & JOHNSON FACES MULTIBILLION OPIOIDS LAWSUIT THAT COULD UPEND BIG PHARMA

SOURCE: THEGUARDIAN.COM

Day after day, the memos flashing across screens in an Oklahoma courtroom have jarred with the family-friendly public image of Johnson & Johnson, the pharmaceutical giant best known for baby powder and Band-Aid.

In one missive, a sales representative dismissed a doctor’s fears that patients might become addicted to the company’s opioid painkillers by telling him those who didn’t die probably wouldn’t get hooked. Another proposes targeting sales of the powerfully addictive drugs at those most at risk: men under 40.

As the state of Oklahoma’s multibillion-dollar lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson has unfolded over the past month, the company has struggled to explain marketing strategies its accusers say dangerously misrepresented the risk of opioid addiction to doctors, manipulated medical research, and helped drive an epidemic that has claimed 400,000 lives over the past two decades.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Good; there are some drug companies which should be sued out of existence, and very much because of their sharp marketing tactics.

ACTING DHS CHIEF 'SABOTAGED' ICE RAIDS BY LEAKING PLAN TO WASHINGTON POST

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
Since the Washington Post spoiled the surprise and published a report about the Trump Administration's plan to arrest thousands of migrant families who have been denied asylum - prompting the administration to cancel the raids - many have probably been wondering why somebody inside would break President Trump's longstanding policy of not telegraphing your moves in advance.

Well, now that question appears to have been answered by the Washington Examiner: The acting head of DHS, Kevin McAleenan, reportedly leaked the details of the operation (he traveled alongside the WaPo reporter who broke the story earlier this week) in what sources described ass a deliberate attempt to sabotage the raids.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I certainly hope that President Trump fires the guy, and as quickly as humanly possible; I cannot believe that someone with a true understanding of the financial/human cost of an unprotected border, and the costs to the states already horribly impacted by this, would want it to stay unprotected, and allow more flows of illegal immigrants to stay in this country.

"Intelligent vetting", which would have caused this man to never have been chosen for this position in the first place, has been a real plague on the Trump Administration, and those around him, who believe in his Presidency, need to rally round him right now.

The Dementocrats are applauding the delay, because of how this happened; apparently, none of them care whatsoever about what this deluge of people with zero education; no English; no capabilities more than manual labor, which will be gone an less than a decade, and no real desire to learn, will injure the US economically, because they are unable to work, except on jobs which no longer exist.

The main thrust of the Democrats' desire to see the flow of illegal immigrants increase, is to give them the opportunity to vote in the next elections, to skewer the vote in more Republican-dominated areas of the country, and turn states (marginally) from red to blue.

What we are going to see, as a result of this, will be more crime; more violence against those people who were born here; and a complete fracturing of the economy, due to the financial burdens of those who cannot, or will not work. If you don't believe me, take a look at 21st century England, Germany, and Sweden, as pretty good indicators of what is - and continuing to be - grave issues in this country, until all illegal immigration is stopped.

NATIONAL EMERGENCY ALERTS POTENTIALLY VULNERABLE TO SPOOFING

SOURCE: HOMELANDSECURITYNEWSWIRE.COM
On 3 October 2018, cell phones across the United States received a text message labeled “Presidential Alert.” It was the first trial run for a new national alert system, developed by several U.S. government agencies as a way to warn as many people across the United States as possible if a disaster was imminent. Now, a new study raises a red flag around these alerts—namely, that such emergency alerts authorized by the President of the United States can, theoretically, be spoofed.

On 3 October 2018, cell phones across the United States received a text message labeled “Presidential Alert.” The message read: “THISIS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”

It was the first trial run for a new national alert system, developed by several U.S. government agencies as a way to warn as many people across the United States as possible if a disaster was imminent.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is nasty, and has to get fixed immediately. But the question remains; if this was so capable of getting spoofed, why didn't the developers of this program not see that and fix it earlier?!?

Read THIS Before Cheering the Next War

Truth Is the First Casualty of War
Over two thousand years ago, the Greek writer Aeschylus said:

In war, truth is the first casualty.

That quote could be read to mean that – once a war starts – then truth goes out the window …

In reality, however, wars are often planned for political reasons (having to do with money, resources or other goals which may have nothing to do with directly protecting one’s country or people) and then false intelligence is created to “justify” the start of the war.

Britain’s MI5 intelligence service explained about the claimed justifications for the Iraq War:

The intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.

Welcome To Crazyland

Surfing the cable channels the evening before my Friday a.m. blog duties, I came upon Sean Hannity at Fox News completely losing his shit in a colloquy with Geraldo Rivera about the Iran drone incident. “Bomb the crap out of them!” Mr. Hannity ranted, several times, the veins in his neck throbbing visibly on the high-def screen. I thought I was having an acid flashback to Doctor Strangelove. Geraldo himself seemed a bit nonplussed and embarrassed by Mr. Hannity’s tantrum, but his attempts to calm down the raving anchorman only ramped up the hysteria. One wondered: are there any adult producers off-screen on that network?

Judge in Sandy Hook defamation lawsuits says Infowars readers have posted death threats on the site after its founder Alex Jones claimed she was 'part of a conspiracy to destroy him'

A Connecticut judge overseeing lawsuits filed by bereaved families of the Sandy Hook shooting massacre against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones revealed that she has received death threats from Jones' fans in posts on his Infowars website.

Judge Barbara Bellis wrote in a court filing Friday that the FBI and Connecticut State Police had contacted her about the threats, however she did not release further details about what the messages specifically entailed.

US ADDS SAUDI ARABIA TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING BLACKLIST

SOURCE: MIDDLE EAST MONITOR
The United States yesterday added Saudi Arabia to a blacklist of countries that do not play a sufficient role in fighting human trafficking.

According to the US’ annual report on human trafficking, Saudi Arabia has failed to prevent large scale violations committed against its foreign labour force, Lebanese newspaper the Daily Star reported.

The US also accused Cuba of human trafficking under the guise of a program to send doctors abroad, pointing out that similar action has been taken against 22 countries.

US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, said of the countries named in the report: “If you don’t stand up to trafficking, America will stand up to you.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even if true (and I would not bet against it), why does the US continue to sell weapons to the Saudis, if they hold human life so cheaply, as to endorse and allow human trafficking in their country?!?

IF I were the Butcher of Yemen (I mean, Prince Mohammed bin Salman), I would think that this would be a pretty damned ugly accusation, and at least try to make it appear that my government is "trying to do something constructive". to combat it; and yes, some times, "changing the optics" can make whatever a country is doing, look "reasonable."

But nothing; not even a response to the charges, is what we get with Saudi Arabia here.

And why?!?

Because the Prince understands that absolutely nothing will stand in the way of those weapons he continues to order and buy from the United States, with which to continue his genocide in Yemen.

I can almost hear someone putting this question to President Trump, and him responding with a "NOT sorry!" in response.

After all, war is always good for business, in President Trump's perspective, because it means record revenues for our weaponry designers and manufacturers.

But President Trump, at what moral costs to this country, do these sales pose?!?

I see countless articles, talking about the mounting violence of American adolescents against other kids; against their teachers; family; and police officers.

Is some of this violence due to kids being given SSRI medications, or trying like heck to get off these medications? Absolutely, but we have to look at another factor here.

But I think that one of the real reasons for this violence, and one which is generally treated as though it were Kryptonite, is that kids see people in very high positions of national power, murdering other people in war, and believe that if those heads of state ordering these wars, can get away scott-free with their assassinations, why shouldn't these kids get off scott-free as well as well for their actions?!?

They generally don't have a sophisticated understanding about what absolute, unrestrained power means, and what is done, frequently, to maintain it, like the (most likely signed off upon by the Prince) assassination of Adnan Kashoggi, in the Saudi Embassy in Turkey, for example.

MORSI 'KILLED' BY EGYPTIAN GOVERNMENT, SON SAYS

'HE WAS MURDERED'
Morsi's death was mourned by many people around the world, including in Turkey, where mosques held special prayers on Tuesday, while leaders in Malaysia and Qatar were among those offering tributes.

However, the reaction has been largely muted in many capitals.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a key ally of Morsi, said this week that the Egyptian government should be tried in international courts for the death of the former president.

"Mohamed Morsi flailed on the courtroom floor for 20 minutes and the authorities did not help him. This is why I say Morsi did not die, he was murdered," Erdogan told supporters on Wednesday at an election rally in Istanbul.

"We, as Turkey, will follow this issue and do everything possible for Egypt to be tried in international courts for Morsi's death," he said, calling on the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to take action towards this end.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF true, Color me unsurprised by this possible revelation.

And why, at the very first sign of his distress, was he not given medical aid?!? That seems very fishy to me.

US CYBER COMMAND REPORTEDLY LAUNCHED A CYBERATTACK AGAINST IRAN AS TRUMP NIXED HIS MILITARY STRIKES

SOURCE: BUSINESSINSIDER.COM
United States Cyber Command on Thursday reportedly launched an operation against an Iranian spy group with ties to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, despite President Donald Trump's last-minute scrapping of a direct military strike, former intelligence officials said in a Yahoo News report.

The Iranian group is believed to have supported the limpet mine attacks against two tanker ships earlier last week, which resulted in the US increasing its military posture against the country. The group reportedly tracked and targeted both military and civilian vessels sailing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My real concern this weekend, is that Israel will conjure something up something absolutely wicked, from which the US government and military will not be able to walk away.

IF President Trump thinks that such a thing is impossible, because he and Netanyahu are such BFFs, I would strongly caution him to think again; this wouldn't be the first time Israel tried a stunt like the attack on the USS Liberty, which Israel tried to blame on Egypt.

New Evidence Proves Israel Attacked USS Liberty With Orders to Kill 294 Americans

The article goes on to state: "America is commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the Israeli attack on USS Liberty.

This article was first published on November 14, 2014

Fresh evidence presented in an exclusive Al Jazeera investigation into the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty that killed 34 Americans proves the incident was not a mistake. Since 1967 the ‘official story‘ has been that Israel simply misidentified the American ship as Egyptian for several hours. Israel apologized to the United States and for several decades we’ve been led to believe that this could be the only explanation for why Israeli jets and torpedo boats would launch rockets, missiles and torpedoes at an American target for more than two hours.

A new documentary called ‘The Day Israel Attacked America” airing on Al Jazeera was produced and directed by award winning British film maker Richard Belfield. Thanks to the audio evidence obtained by Belfield, it is finally possible to prove the survivors of the attack on the USS Liberty were right all along. The survivors have always been extremely confident that Israel’s intentions were to sink that ship and kill everyone on board so Egypt could be blamed for the tragedy. Why? To convince President Lyndon Johnson (and the American public) that we needed to declare war on Egypt. This is the definition of a ‘false flag‘. (can you say 9/11?)"

Cyber-sleuths responsible for Russiagate now warn of ‘Iranian hackers’

Iranian hackers are threatening US computer systems, cybersecurity firms FireEye and CrowdStrike have claimed, just as tensions between Washington and Tehran pulled back from the brink of war.

“Really, we're seeing increased cyber activity that seems to be focused on the West,” Adam Meyers, vice president of intelligence at CrowdStrike, told Politico. “In early June, mid-June is when it really started to kick off.”

Ben Read, senior cyber-espionage analyst at FireEye, confirmed the timeline and told the paper that the latest campaign is led by a government-connected Iranian hacker group known as APT33 or “Refined Kitten.”

Trump Accused Of 'Rape' One Day After Refusing to Go to War With Iran

President Donald Trump was accused of "rape" by a feminist journo one day after he refused to go to war with Iran.

Despite massive pressure from neocons in his administration to attack Iran after they shot down a US drone over the Gulf of Oman, Trump elected not to carry out a strike Thursday evening because he said the military's planned attack would have killed 150 people, which he said was not "proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone."

Hannity Uses Pythagorean Theorem to Explain Why We Have to Bomb Iran Or Else There Will Be Another Holocaust

Shortly after Tucker Carlson warned against a war with Iran on his show Thursday night, Sean Hannity told his viewers that Trump needs to bomb Iran or else it's mathematically guaranteed there will be another holocaust.

"A-squared, B-squared equals C-squared," Hannity said. "Radical Islamic mullahs married to weapons of mass destruction, nukes, equals a potential holocaust."

"We can't let that happen," he said. "That's it -- it's mathematical."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pythagoras is spinning in his grave.

Mainstream Media Faults Trump for Not Following Through on Iran Attack

Mainstream media outlets were of a lot of different minds on the Iran question earlier this week, counseling different approaches for US-Iran tensions. Friday, those outlets were broadly united, upset by the lack of a new war they thought sure was coming.

I knew the corporate media were going to savage Trump over this.

AMAZON GETS U.S. PATENT TO USE DELIVERY DRONES FOR SURVEILLANCE SERVICE

Amazon.com Inc is exploring using drones not just to deliver packages but also to provide surveillance as a service to its customers, according to a patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The delivery drones can be used to record video of consented user’s property to gather data that can be analyzed to look out, say for example, a broken window, or a fire or if a garage door was left open during the day, the patent described.

According to the patent, the surveillance function of the drone can be limited through geo-fencing, a technology used to draw a virtual boundary around the property under surveillance. Any image or data that the drone captures outside the geo-fence would be obscured or removed.

The application for the patent was filed by the e-commerce giant in 2015 and granted on June 4.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What about people who do NOT want to to have their properties surveilled in such a way, and have therefore NOT given this consent?!?

I somehow, do not have a "warm and fuzzy feeling" about the use of these surveillance drones!!
