NYT Says We Need Refugees to Fill ‘Void of Cultural Diversity’ in Towns That Are Too White

The New York Times needs some diversity on their staff. Too Kosher!

Even though White children are a minority in the US school system and most major cities have been ethnically cleansed of a White majority, there are still some towns that are not diverse enough for our jewish supremacist overlords. The New York Times has argued that refugees need to be resettled across rural America, into areas that are a “void of cultural diversity” (too White).

Global Debt Tops $188,000,000,000,000 – Officially The Biggest Debt Bubble The World Has Ever Seen

Authored by Michael Snyder via TheMostImportantNews.com,

The world is now 188 trillion dollars in debt, and that number continues to grow rapidly each year.

It is a form of enslavement that is deeply insidious, because most of those living on the planet do not even understand how the system works, and even if they did most of them would have absolutely no hope of ever getting free from it. The borrower is the servant of the lender, and the global financial system is designed to funnel as much wealth to the top 0.1% as possible. Of course throughout human history there has always been slavery, and the primary motivation for having slaves is to extract an economic benefit from those that are enslaved. And even though most of us don’t like to think of ourselves as “slaves” today, the truth is that the global elite are extracting more wealth from all of us than ever before. So much of our labor is going to make them wealthy, and yet most people don’t even realize what is happening.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF humanly possible, please get your credit balances down as soon as you can; this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

"Clients With Guns" Are Demanding Deposits From Crisis-Stricken Lebanese Banks

Here we go as predicted: the Lebanese central bank attempts to prevent a "panic mode" scramble on the part of the public to remove all deposits, and the recently imposed (unofficial) regulations geared toward staving off capital flight are predictably failing fast, per Reuters:

“Clients with guns have entered banks and security guards have been afraid to speak to them as when people are in a state like this you don’t know how people will act.”

Lebanon's private banks reopened a week ago on Friday following a two-week closure due to massive anti-government protests which created gridlock across the country's main cities, including closure of other public institutions such as schools.

The World Bank weighed in on Friday, urging leaders in Beirut to form new Cabinet within a week, citing risks to Lebanon's stability as "deeply concerning," according to the AP.

Hong Kong Student Dies From Injuries In First Fatality Linked To Protests

In what appears to be the first death of a protester stemming from the aggressive police tactics, a young student has died after sustaining a serious head injury during a fall from the third floor of a car park to the second while police carried out an aggressive dispersion operation to end a protest

According to the SCMP, Chow Tsz-lok, a second year computer science undergraduate student at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology fell from the car park in Tseung Kwan O as police fired off rounds of tear gas on Monday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China's President Xi, a word, please; be very careful about how you handle this; the Chinese police may well have created the first martyr of this movement.

California's Housing Nightmare Is Only Getting Worse

When historians look back on contemporary California, one thing they'll be bound to make note of is that the state's developers bet on the wrong model.

Endless, suburban sprawl is coming back to haunt California in ways both major and minor. In densely populated communities across the state, traffic is horrible thanks to underdeveloped public transportation (this is especially true in LA). Most residents have accepted that deadly, devastating wildfires are just part of the deal now - bound to recur endlessly until the state's population shrinks to the point that it no longer intermingles with the state's vast swaths of woodland.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Although Mike and I met and married in Southern California, we have absolutely no desire to live there anymore.

America's Endless Wars: "At West Point, Graduation Day Felt More Like A Tragedy Than A Triumph"

Authored by US Army Major Danny Sjursen (ret.) via TheNation.com,

Patches, pins, medals, and badges are the visible signs of an exclusive military culture, a silent language by which soldiers and officers judge each other’s experiences, accomplishments, and general worth. In July 2001, when I first walked through the gate of the US Military Academy at West Point at the ripe young age of 17, the “combat patch” on one’s right shoulder - evidence of a deployment with a specific unit - had more resonance than colorful medals like Ranger badges reflecting specific skills. Back then, before the 9/11 attacks ushered in a series of revenge wars “on terror,” the vast majority of officers stationed at West Point didn’t boast a right shoulder patch. Those who did were mostly veterans of modest combat in the first Gulf War of 1990–91. Nonetheless, even those officers were regarded by the likes of me as gods. After all, they’d seen “the elephant.”

Facebook announced on Friday that it would be removing an posts which name alleged Trump-Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella

Facebook announced on Friday that it would be removing an posts which name alleged Trump-Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.

"We are removing any and all mentions of the potential whistleblower’s name and will revisit this decision should their name be widely published in the media or used by public figures in the debate," Facebook said in a statement in which they claim it violates their "coordinating harm" policy which prohibits content 'outing of witness, informant, or activist.'

On Wednesday, the social media giant removed ads naming Ciaramella which had been viewed several hundred thousand times according to the Washington Post.

On Friday, Breitbart's Allum Bohkari reported that the news outlet's posts containing references to Ciaramella had been scrubbed from the site.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Frankly, this is precisely what we can expect henceforward from the Zuk, the Malnificent's "Facebook"; since the 4th estate in this country has been defined as "journalism, or what passes for it in this country today", the 5th estate has become that of both the cybersurveillence, and cyber-scrubbing ordered by the US Deep State; folks, it is just that simple.

Zuk the Malnificent, through Facebook, is simply a tool of the US Deep State; nothing more and nothing less.

Thirst for Justice: America’s Struggle for Clean Water: Pollution, poisoning and the loss of human life due to unsafe water are the accepted costs of doing business in America.

Somehow I’d ended up on a plastic mattress in a tiny prison cell wearing the infamous orange jump suit. I’d been arrested once before in Egypt during the revolution as a journalist, but now I was in Wisconsin, America, where freedom of speech is enshrined in the constitution. I’d considered myself safe there.

I had been arrested whilst filming a small, peaceful protest by mainly Indigenous Ojibwe people against the construction of a new oil pipeline. I was working on a documentary film on America’s struggle for clean water.

Controversial pipelines

Enbridge’s Line 3 will carry 760,000 barrels per day of tar sands oil from Canada, across the American border to a refinery on Lake Superior, Wisconsin. Almost as much oil as the controversial Keystone XL.

The Vaccine Deep State. Impacts of Aluminum Adjuvants in Vaccines

The media refuses to accept that those who have been vaccine damaged, or who have children who will suffer for the remainder of their lives from adverse vaccine events, have a legitimate right to speak their truth rather than being labeled as hysterical or crazy. All of these individuals and parents were pro-vaccine until they or their child became vaccine-injured. Similarly we saw the New York Times manufacturing consent for accepting falsehoods that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction. And this was true across the mainstream outlets including the Washington Post, Fox, MSNBC, CNN and others. The Times fabricated that rationale to the public on behalf of the neocons in the Bush administration who were determined to have a war. None of the journalists publishing these lies have taken responsibility nor lost a night’s sleep because their fakery led to the death of millions.

Substandard Education in America

The quality of American education, as we will see, is far lower than the world has been led to believe, and the quality in China is in many cases much superior to that in the US. Americans might care to ask why it is that Chinese elementary or high school students moving to the US are often promoted by one or two grades. The reason is that they know so much more than their American counterparts they would suffer terminal boredom if forced to remain at their prior grade level. If we refer to the PISA tests, Shanghai’s math scores were 119 above the OECD average, or the equivalent of nearly three years of schooling, with reading and science exceeding the OECD average by about 1.5 years of schooling. And in some cases, the American students were behind the OECD average by approximately the same number of years as the Chinese were ahead.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, this cannot be seen in any possible light but that of a deliberate push by the US government to keep its people illiterate; innumerate; and incapable of critical thinking.

Father of Julian Assange Fears His Son Will Die in Prison: UN Rapporteur on Torture Warned Assange May Lose his Life

John Shipton, the father of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, told reporters on Friday that he needs to “face the bitter truth” that his son “may die in jail.” Shipton spoke with reporters in Geneva two days after he visited Assange in Belmarsh prison in London.

“This is not the bitter disappointment of a father, this is simply fact,” Shipton said. “Julian may die in jail over a nine-year persecution for revealing the truth of war crimes. It is beyond obscene.”

Shipton’s comments come a week after UN special rapporteur on torture Nils Melzer said, “Unless the UK urgently changes course and alleviates his inhumane situation, Mr. Assange’s continued exposure to arbitrariness and abuse may soon end up costing his life.” Melzer has previously warned that Assange had been subject to psychological torture.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I believe that Assange's dad is absolutely, horrifically correct.

Assange's info has never been hit as falsification; he has simply been a "thorn in the side" of the US government, and I cannot for a moment doubt, that he has been the victim of both physical and psychological torture, while held at Belmarsh.

IF he does make it into an American prison (which I sincerely doubt will happen), he will, most likely, be too ill to speak in his own defense, and wind up dead of some weaponized disease, one of the effects of which is hallucinatory behaviour and thoughts, which will become part and parcel of how his "legacy" will be screwed by the US/British intelligence agencies in years to come, for telling the truth.

More Iraqi Protesters Killed, Sistani Says Time for Govt to Meet DemandsSistani aide: No longer can government procrastinate

Iraqi security forces continued to crack down on protests Friday, with security forces killing at least 10 people in Basra, where the protesters have been keeping the country’s main Gulf port closed for days.

Live gunfire and killing protesters hasn’t worked in the past, nor is there any sign it’s going to work here. The biggest issue is likely to be Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani’s sermon, which is now saying the government must immediately meet demands of protesters.

The top religious leader in Iraq, Sistani has long warned against using force against the protesters, and now says it is time to just meet the demands of the protesters immediately. His aide Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalaie, added that their position is that the Iraqi government can not “procrastinate on this issue because of the great risks facing the country.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

To Iraq's Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, I have three words for you, and they are BLESS YOU SIR!!

Speaking out against corruption in government is not an easy task (and trust me, sir, as an American, I do know just a tiny bit about this); I understand that this took a lot of moral courage on your part, but you absolutely did the right thing here.

Because if policy makers in Baghdad do not listen to you, we may well be looking at a bloody revolution in Iraq, with a government permanently aligned with other than American interests, and that influence would most likely coming from...Iran.

Unfortunately, the Iranian-born Shiite Cleric, Muktada Al Sadr, whose party created a significant coalition in the last Parliamentary elections, is now seen as part of the problem, because his influence really did nothing to create a cure for Iraq's corruption, even though he has railed against it frequently.

Pentagon’s East Syria Operation About More Than Taking the Oil

Whether to control the oil or flat out take the oil, US statements on the new military mission in Syria are heavily oil-themed. Other reports, however, suggest that the operation is a lot more complicated than that.

In reality, a lot of the goal is nation-building, with US forces meant to both keep the Syrian government out of this part of Syria, and try to “bring prosperity” to the region, propping up a potential territory of rebels.

This is again built around the assumption that the US can manufacture an autonomous, prosperous region, using the oilfields as the revenue source, and then steer that region toward hostility with the rest of Syria.

This will likely end up being a plan easier for the Trump Administration to sell than overt theft of oil, as it allows the US to retain its primary focus, military hostility toward Syria with an eye toward eventual regime change.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) to those in the Pentagon who actually believe that this is a reasonable, logical way of moving forward in Syria; I really don't know if you need a hug, some calcium magnesium; some milk and a happy-ending bedtime story, or at least one American, a Christian pacifist activist, who never encourages violence (folks, that's me) to gently suggest to you that such an approach is completely, as in barking-dog mad, rubber-room-esque insane.

What homogeneous group are you going to give this region to, now that the Kurds have pledged fealty to the Syrian government?!?

The Kurds’ commander in chief explains why his forces are finally ready to partner with Assad and Putin.

My big question is, how long Russia's Putin will be willing to put up with this foolishness before Russian (plus Kurdish plus Syrian) troops uncork on US positions in Syria?!?

And folks, for me, that is the ultimate nightmare scenario. The two headlines right under this at antiwar.com, give me no comfort on this issue either.

Pentagon Claims US Authority to Shoot Any Syrian Govt Official Who Tries to Take Control of Syrian Oil and the headline under this, Erdogan: Turkey Won’t Leave Syria Until Every Other Country Does: Says Turkey will not let up on offensive against Kurdish militants

Does the US position here even remotely resemble a reasonable, sane, responsible, and moral moment of conflict resolution?!?

The short answer, of course, is: HELL, NO!!!

PIERS MORGAN: In one brutally ballsy talk-show appearance, Donald Trump Jr. gave us a stunning View of barefaced lying liberal celebrity hypocrisy - and it wasn't a pretty sight

Even before Donald Trump Jr. appeared on The View yesterday, liberal celebrities were howling their fury.

Will and Grace actress Debra Messing, who hasn't stopped hysterically raging about all things Trump for the past four years, was incensed the President's son was even allowed to go on at all.

'Why would you bring him on?' she tweeted the ABC show's Twitter account. 'You trying to be 'balanced'?'

You could almost feel the bile laced all over her lips as she spat out the dreaded b-word.

Messing is an expert in disappointing and irresponsible decisions.

A few weeks ago, she demanded the Hollywood Reporter publish the names of everyone attending a Trump fundraiser in Beverly Hills. Her Will and Grace co-star Eric McCormack revealed the sinister motive behind this demand: 'Kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about who we don't wanna work with. Thx.'

Las Vegas becomes first major city to make it a crime to sleep or camp out on the streets as it moves to tackle the homeless crisis blighting cities across America

Las Vegas officials passed a law on Wednesday the first in the US that will make it illegal for homeless people to sleep on streets when beds are available at established shelters.

The measure will apply to the city's downtown urban core, not the tourist-heavy Las Vegas Strip, which is overseen by a different jurisdiction.

Las Vegas becomes the latest city in the US West - from San Francisco and Seattle to Honolulu and Salt Lake City - to try to deal with complaints about homelessness.

The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals struck down a similar law from Boise, Idaho, last year - calling it unconstitutional to prosecute people for sleeping in public places when there aren't enough shelter beds.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is just going to make the homeless crisis in Vegas worse, not better.

What happens where there are no beds at community shelters, and what happens to those who have no housing whatsoever?!?!?

Families Of Cartel-Assault Victims Insist Deadly Attack "Was No Accident"

Contrary to our expectations, the slaying of nine members of a Mormon community living in Northern Mexico at the hands of Mexican cartel gunmen seems to have already dropped out of the news cycle, perhaps because it's already become clear that neither the US nor Mexico is planning to hold the attackers accountable.

Senior Mexican security officials who are obviously worried about more bad press insist that the attack was a case of mistaken identity. But keep in mind, these are the same people who initially told the world that federal police just happened to stumble upon the son of El Chapo in Culiacan (denying that his arrest had been the target of an organized operation).

Security Minister Alfonso Durazo, whose name has been in the press frequently in the aftermath of the attack, said earlier this week that the gunmen may have attacked the women because they suspected they were members of a rival gang during a period of intense turf wars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prayers for all who were killed, wounded, and all family/friends affected by this horrific attack; but I have to wonder; did the Cartel ordering the hit think that this Mormon family saw or heard something which justified their assassinations?

And with babies on board?!?

Were I part of a "Mormon dissident family", I would be thinking about leaving Mexico, and just as soon as was humanly possible.

Momentum stalls in Congress for aid to ailing national parks

Our country is headed for 3rd world status. Mainly because of all the money the Defense Department and their Israeli masters suck out of our economy for their incessant wars.

DENVER, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Momentum in Congress has sputtered for bills that would help the U.S. National Park Service finance a $12 billion backlog in maintenance needs.

Even though it has wide bipartisan support, the Restore Our Parks legislation that would send $6.5 billion over five years to improve park infrastructure is lingering in legislative limbo. The money would come from offshore and onshore royalty revenues for oil and gas on public lands.

"This legislation represents one of the most significant investments in the 100-year history of the Park Service," co-lead author Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., said in an email. "The longer we kick the can on the deferred maintenance backlog, the more we'll hold back communities that rely on visitors to help generate economic activity."

Pentagon: Revenue From Syrian Oil Will Go to Kurdish SDF, Not US

Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman told reporters on Thursday that while the US continues to expand its presence in and around east Syria with an aim of protecting and controlling the oil fields, the US won’t be keeping the money.

“The revenue from this is not going to the US, this is going to the SDF,” Hoffman said, suggesting the US-backed Kurds will get all the money. That’s still entirely speculative, however, because no US company has expressed any willingness to extract the oil in the first place.

It’s also not what has been sold to the US by President Trump. Trump has insisted that the US would be keeping some of the oil for itself, telling crowds recently that it would amount to $45 million a month and that it was always his intention to “keep the oil.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I frankly think that the Pentagon is "shopping the scenario" of the Kurds getting the money from these oil fields, to try to compensate for the lousy "taste in the mouth" from smaller countries world wide, who are wondering right now; "OK, if the US has decided it can expropriate/steal Syria's oil with no backlash, and since we don't have much of a "standing army", when will the US invade our country for our resources?!?"

The question is absolutely legitimate, given the current US international policies right now.

Facebook Removes News Reporting, Mention of Alleged ‘Whistleblower’s’ Identity

Facebook is removing any mention of the potential whistleblower’s name and is cracking down against Facebook publishers that mention any allegation of the potential whistleblower’s name, claiming they are violating Facebook’s Community Standards and Policies.

For example, on Wednesday evening, Facebook removed Breitbart posts reporting on the fact other respected news outlets have reported the identity of the alleged whistleblower is Eric Ciaramella. Any Facebook user who attempts to click on that article on Facebook is now given a message that says, “this content isn’t available at the moment.”

Report: Fox News Management Forbids Hosts from Using Alleged Name of Ukraine ‘Whistleblower’

Fox News Channel management have ordered network hosts to refrain from using the alleged name of the so-called “whistleblower” — reported to be Eric Ciaramella — who sparked the House Democrats’ partisan impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump, according to a report.

CNN Business states that while some Fox News personalities want to use the name reportedly linked to the “whistleblower” complaint, bosses have warned against the move. On October 31, an unnamed executive emailed staff that the network had not “independently confirmed [the] name or identification of the anonymous whistleblower” and advised to “NOT fulfill any video or graphic requests” in connection to the so-called “whistleblower’s” identity, according to the report.

At auction: Putin’s executive order to take Crimea from Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s controversial 2014 decree that cleared the way for the annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, which still draws international outrage, is going on the auction block.

The personally signed order tucked neatly into an ornate leather binder could bring as much as $8,000-$10,000, according to Alexander Historical Auctions, hosting the online auction Nov. 19-21.

Alexander Auctions President Bill Panagopulos described his unusual item this way:

An historic modern Russian document with repercussions still affecting the world today, Vladimir Putin's executive order creating the Ministry of Crimean Affairs and integrating the economic, financial, credit and legal systems of the Crimea with that of the Russian Federation. Putin essentially inextricably merges Crimea's economy and courts with those of Russia, making any future return of Crimea to Ukraine nearly impossible.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sign) Paul, Paul, Paul, the author of this piece of codswallop, were we having one hell of a case of SMD (selective memory disorder) before you" put this ripe tripe to bed?!?"

Apparently, you are choosing NOT to remember the following, and I would bet that your inner two year old is about to have a raging temper tantrum, because of the following FACTS, Paul:

FACT: Washngton was behind the coup in 2014, and Obama admits that there was a US-brokered deal in support of regime change

FACT: post-putch which put Poroshenko in charge of Ukraine in 2014, the Crimeans smelled "foul" as they knew the "election" was a regime change writ large, and that no semblance of justice could ever come out of Kiev again with that corrupt bunch which had grabbed the gonads of power here.

So what did the Crimean people do, Paul?!? And why the hell did you not know this, or ar you choosing not to mention this, because it does not fit your, and the Deep State's "agenda" here?!?

They did two things, Paul; FACT: the Crimeans held a referendum to determine if they wanted to stay with Ukraine post-putsch, or petition the Russian Federation to join it. Overwhelmingly, they voted to leave Ukraine, and petition the Russian Federation. 2014:
Crimean status Referendum

Paul, I don't get it; you are supposed to be some kind of arbiter of truth, as a journalist; not a mole for the deep state; and if this information was available to me with a cursory search on line, my question is, WHY WAS IT NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU?!?

No, Paul; you are either intellectually lazy beyond belief, or paid very well to lie to the American people, or both.

And that last, nearly nearly breathlessly hysterical paragraph I cited, made it look like what Russia did here, was an horrendously bad thing to do, when this is precisely what the Crimean people wanted Putin, and Russia to do.

And has your MONSTER case of SMD caused you to conveniently forget, that both Russia and the US are signatories to the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights which includes peaceful self-determination as one of its cornerstones, which is precisely what Crimea did here, with its referendum, and petition to the Russian Federation for membership?!?

So, given your proclivities to always want to characterize Russia as "bad and wrong", will your next move be to "encourage" President Trump to rescind the US's membership in the UN?!?

Sir, you either deliberately got this hellaciously wrong, or you didn't have a clue; in either case, this article is nothing more than a vehicle for propping up the agenda that "Russia is Always Bad!!". an agenda, which cannot be supported by the facts of this case.

Joe diGenova says 'explosive' FISA report will 'ruin careers'

Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova anticipates an "explosive" Justice Department inspector general report on alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses.

After it was reported Wednesday that a public copy is expected to be released at about Thanksgiving or later, diGenova appeared with his wife and legal partner, Victoria Toensing, on Fox Business to talk about what they have heard.

Host Lou Dobbs asked diGenova to describe his expectations for the report's findings.

Tucker Carlson broke an exclusive tonight on the ongoing Democrat Party impeachment inquisition.

According to Tucker Carlson a Democrat staffer contacted by email the fired Ukrainian ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, and asked for some time to discuss a “delicate” issue days after “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella filed his complaint against President Trump.

The Tucker Carlson team acquired a copy of the email from that Democratic staffer to Yovanovitch. This was sent by private email to the former ambassador.

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) asked Ambassador Yovanovitch about the email during her testimony before Adam Schiff’s impeachment committee.

Testimony bombshell: Obama administration tried to partner with Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian gas firm but was blocked over corruption concerns

A State Department official who served in the U.S. embassy in Kiev told Congress that the Obama administration tried in 2016 to partner with the Ukrainian gas firm that employed Hunter Biden but the project was blocked over corruption concerns.

George Kent, the former charge d’affair at the Kiev embassy, said in testimony released Thursday that the State Department’s main foreign aid agency, known as USAID, planned to co-sponsor a clean energy project with Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian gas firm that employed Hunter Biden as a board member.

At the time of the proposed project, Burisma was under investigation in Ukraine for alleged corruption. Those cases were settled in late 2016 and early 2017. Burisma contested allegations of corruption but paid a penalty for tax issues.

tFacebook Flip-Flops; Mulls New Political Ad Policy After Hillary Warns Zuck "Should Pay Price"

After a chorus of Democrats came down hard on Facebook after CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his company would continue to distribute political ads without fact checking them, the company is now 'mulling' changes to how such ads are treated, according to CNN. That said, the company will continue to allow politicians to run unverified advertisements.

Notably, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton - who still appears to be having issues accepting the results of the 2016 election decried a "war on truth" last week, and suggested that "Mark Zuckerberg should pay a price for what he is doing to our democracy."

"Part of our problem, those of us who are appalled by this war on truth and this fake news which is truly surrounding us these days, is we’re not very good at combating it. It’s hard because you’re up against algorithms, plus all these other powerful forces, it’s really hard," she added.

"CBS Sided With A Pedophile": Network Fires Staffer Who Had Access To Robach-Epstein Rant

CBS has fired a female staffer believed to have had access to a candid tape of ABC host Amy Robach complaining that in 2016, the network shelved her scoop on Jeffrey Epstein's sex crimes, according to Page Six.

"I've had the story for three years... we would not put it on the air," Robach said on a hot mic moment leaked to Project Veritas. "It was unbelievable what we had, Clinton, we had everything."

It hasn't gone unnoticed that exposing Epstein would have hurt Hillary Clinton during the 2016 US election.

Former US Diplomat Calls on Washington to Review Status of Crimea

- Former US diplomat Dennis Ortblad has called on Washington to reconsider sanctions against Russia as well as its position on Crimea with the aim of improving relations with Russia.

"We need to deal with Russia as it is, not as we wish it to be. And our enemy is not Russia", Ortblad wrote in a Tuesday article for The National Interest magazine.
According to the ex-diplomat, Washington should first and foremost change its stance on Crimea's status so that it can review its sanction policy against Russia.

"To recalibrate our sanctions, we must recognise that Crimea will remain Russian. Its population was always heavily Russian ... Crimeans identify with the historic struggles of Russia against invasion from the West ... It was clear to us [during the recent visit to Sevastopol] that the people of Crimea would not relinquish their pride in their traditional Russian identity to accept a return to Ukraine", he said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Finally, someone who understands this correctly.

I doubt like heck that this is going to make any change in the US position on Crimea, as that is another "justification" for sanctions against Russia; that being said, however, I would like to hope that what this man has to say, can start being treated as a decent starting point for re-setting US/Russia relations down the road.

DOJ will fight impeachment subpoenas unless Trump administration witnesses are allowed attorneys

The Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel released a new legal opinion stating that subpoenas from House Democrats in their impeachment investigation into President Trump will be considered “legally invalid” if Trump administration witnesses aren’t allowed to have an attorney with them while testifying.

The new legal stance by the Trump DOJ is detailed in a five-page legal memo dated Nov. 1, just one day after the House of Representatives voted to formalize the opening of its impeachment process stemming from a Ukraine whistleblower in a near-party-line vote. Republicans had previously complained about the closed-door nature of the impeachment proceedings as well as the lack of a launch vote, but the new legal justification by DOJ could escalate the battle over the Trump administration’s lack of cooperation with the House, as the Trump administration continues to slow-walk some information requests and stonewall some subpoenas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A small, but at least extant, ray of sunshine for those of us watching this Star Chamber procedure, which has been transmogrified into a process which has absolutely nothing to do with the US judicial system.

MEDIA CONCEAL CHILE’S STATE CRIMINALITY, DELEGITIMIZE BOLIVIAN DEMOCRACY

SOURCE: FAIR.ORG
Chile’s anti-neoliberal rebellion is entering its third week, and the brutal crackdown continues. Hard-right President Sebastian Piñera and his generals have effectively decreed the country’s oligarch-dominated democracy out of existence by sending soldiers into the streets to kill, maim and torture their own people.

And, for the most part, the Western corporate media blackout persists unabated.

October 25’s historic 1.2 million–person march in Santiago—the largest since the end of the dictatorship—has forced some outlets to begin to acknowledge state violence. But corporate journalists continue to largely overlook the Piñera government’s mounting atrocities.

As I examined recently for FAIR (10/23/19), this behavior contrasts remarkably with the corporate media’s unanimous backing of regime change in Venezuela, endorsing insurrectionary protests and vilifying Nicolas Maduro as a “dictator” (FAIR.org, 4/11/19).

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prayers and thoughts for the people of Chile and Bolivia, that they may have the opportunity to be truly, democratically represented by their governments in the future.

Unfortunately, such a state of being may well not come without an intense struggle in both countries; I am hoping it can be as bloodless as possible, but unfortunately, the histories of both countries suggest that it will absolutely not be bloodless.

45 POPULATION CONTROL QUOTES THAT SHOW THE ELITE ARE QUITE EAGER TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE PLANET

At one time, the elite at least attempted to conceal their boundless enthusiasm for population control from the general public, but now they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.

On Tuesday, an alarming new study that advocates global population control as one of the solutions to the “climate emergency” that we are facing was published in the journal BioScience. This document has already been signed by 11,258 scientists from 153 different countries, and it openly calls for a reduction in the human population of our planet. This has always been the endgame for the climate change cult, but now a big push is being made to make the public believe that there is a “scientific consensus” that this is necessary.

You can find a summary of the report here, and I would very much encourage you to read it, because it is essentially a blueprint for where the elite intend to take humanity in the years ahead.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Isn't it interesting, how in the minds of "the elite", it is never themselves, or their kids, who should be eliminated, but other people and their kids?!?

We already know that some vaccinations have been "weaponized" as anti fertility agents.

“Mass Sterilization”: Kenyan Doctors Find Anti-fertility Agent in UN Tetanus Vaccine?

The article goes on to state: "Scientists have created the ultimate GM crop: contraceptive corn. Waiving fields of maize may one day save the world from overpopulation.

The pregnancy prevention plants are the handiwork of the San Diego biotechnology company Epicyte, where researchers have discovered a rare class of human antibodies that attack sperm.

The limit of family size, has been public policy in China for quite some time, leading to the murder of unwanted girls, and in many cases, forced births and executions of babies, and the immediate sterilizations of their mothers.

China's brutal one-child policy will be catastrophic for us all.

Forget that the science is wrong; the agenda and conclusions are insane; and we are seeing are the seeds of demographic destruction all around us.

In order to resolve the issues facing humankind, and I am the first person to say, yes, there are real problems. But in order to intelligently resolve them, we have to honor real science, and not accept this "junk science" presented to us in small, pre-digested bits, so that we won't think twice, upon swallowing this codswallop.

Journalist Max Blumenthal Arrested for Thoughtcrimes

The award-winning writer and founder of the adversarial news site The Grayzone journalist and best-selling author Max Blumenthal, had his apartment swarmed by D.C police who pounded on his door and demanded that he open it, or it will be broken down. Max admitted to journalist and comedian Jimmy Dore that he was debating in his mind whether or not to open the door or let the officers destroy his property.

Max noticed police had his apartment surrounded, and instead of allowing the police to kick his door in, he opened his door, and armed officers swarmed into his livingroom and presented Max with a warrant for his arrest. DC police then arrested Max Blumenthal on a five-month-old warrant for simple assault stemming from an event in which Max Blumenthal attempted to smuggle food into the Venezuelan Embassy to activists of the Embassy Protection Collective.

MAN UNDERPAID HIS PROPERTY TAXES BY $8.41. THE COUNTY SEIZED HIS PROPERTY, SOLD IT—AND KEPT THE PROFITS.

SOURCE: REASON
An 83-year-old retired engineer in Michigan underpaid his property taxes by $8.41. In response, Oakland County seized his property, auctioned it off to settle the debt, and pocketed nearly $24,500 in excess revenue from the sale.

Under Michigan law, it was all legal. And hardly uncommon.

Uri Rafaeli, who lost his property and all the equity associated with it, is just one of thousands of people to be victimized by Michigan's uniquely aggressive property tax statute. The law, passed in 1999 in an attempt to accelerate the rehabilitation of abandoned properties, empowers county treasurers to act as debt collectors. In the process, it creates a perverse incentive by allowing treasurers' offices to retain excess revenue raised by seizing and selling properties with delinquent taxes—even when the amount owed is miniscule, and even when the homes aren't abandoned or blighted at all.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let us call it by its right name: theft by government, writ large.

TRUMP OKS WIDER SYRIA OIL MISSION, RAISING LEGAL QUESTIONS

Legal questions. That’s hilarious.

I just want to remember the good old days, when they felt the need to dazzle us with yellow cake uranium fraud before they stole the oil.

Via: Military Times – AP:

President Donald Trump has approved an expanded military mission to secure an expanse of oil fields across eastern Syria, raising a number of difficult legal questions about whether U.S. troops can launch strikes against Syrian, Russian or other forces if they threaten the oil, U.S. officials said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't know how many international treaties, to which the US is also a signatory, the US government has breached by taking this position, that they have every full, and legal right to control and sell Syria's oil, but I am betting that the number is potentially staggering.

My near-bet would be on Israel staging an horrendous false flag, causing many US service members to be killed or maimed for life, to be blamed on both Russia and Syria.

At that point, Trump will have his alleged "justification" for a war against both Syria and Russia; but Mr. President, if you allow yourself to be cornered into taking this action, it will be one of the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly idiotic things you could possibly do at this time.

I would like to suggest a scenario which has probably been war-gamed to death by the IDF, but let us look at the following; if Russia, the US, Iran, and Saudi Arabia are in hot conflicts around the world, and become broken by the conflicts, militarily and monetarily, who potentially gets control of the Mid-eastern oil, and I mean, all of it, once the dust settles?!?

Israel.

Mr. President, please do not consider Bibi Netanyahu your friend; at best, he, and Tel Aviv, are more like Frenemies.

UNDER SHROUD OF SECRECY US WEAPONS ARRIVE IN YEMEN DESPITE CONGRESSIONAL OUTRAGE

SOURCE: KRDO
The awkward camera angle is meant to hide the fact that the owner of the phone is filming, but there is no mistaking the outlines of the heavy cargo being deposited on the dock in the Yemeni port of Aden last week.

The distinctive shape of the US-made Oshkosh armored vehicle stands out in the early morning darkness, a piece of military hardware that is currently at the heart of a standoff between some American lawmakers and President Donald Trump’s administration.

Aden is controlled by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, whose main partners are continuing to ship American-made weapons into the country despite bipartisan outrage in Congress over the way the US is backing Riyadh in this bloody and bitter conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here's the long and short of it; the US government has been allowing sales of billions of dollars' worth of US-weapons to the Saudi Arabian military for its genocide in Yemen, and I would imagine that, given the intensity of the size of this delivery, that the Saudis are about to embark upon a "scorched earth, scorched non-combatants" policy.

And of course, you will never see or hear a word of it on US Presstitute Corporate Channels, because such honest reportage would "put the US and Saudi Arabia in a really bad light."

There are times when courageous men and women, need to put the acts of war criminal nations into the light of public awareness; and looking at what the US and Saudi governments are doing in Yemen now is, definitely one of those times.

And IF Congressional representatives were REALLY " that outraged", they would have passed veto-proof bills, in both houses of Congress, long ago, refusing to allow the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia; they only want to appear to be outraged, because some responsible Americans are paying attention to this, and sharing information, just as we do here at WRH.

Trust me, the outrage isn't any where near as intense as Congressional Representatives would want you to believe; particularly if weapons companies are donating heavily (both overtly and covertly) to their upcoming political campaigns.

COPS NOW USING WARRANTS TO GAIN ACCESS TO DNA SERVICES' ENTIRE DATABASES

SOURCE: TECH DIRT
Cops have discovered a new source of useful third-party records: DNA databases. Millions of people have voluntarily handed over personal information to a number of services in exchange for info on medical markers or distant family members.

Investigators are submitting DNA samples from cold cases in hopes of tracking down criminals who’ve managed to evade them for years. It has led to the closing of some cases, which is all agencies need to argue for continued access to DNA samples from millions of users.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I used to think about using DNA services to get a little more background on my ancestors; however, with recent revelations, (and not that I have done anything to cause any police to come knocking at my door), I don't think I want to at this point in time.

TWO FORMER TWITTER EMPLOYEES CHARGED WITH SPYING FOR SAUDI ARABIA, MAY BE INVOLVED IN KHASHOGGI MURDER

Two Former Twitter Employees Charged With Spying For Saudi Arabia, May Be Involved In Khashoggi Murder
For all those still seeking details about Saudi Arabia’s murder of Jamal Khashoggi, it may be time to give Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey a call.

Two former Twitter employees were charged with spying for Saudi Arabia, the Justice Department unveiled on Wednesday in San Francisco, in a case which the WaPo said "raises concerns about the ability of Silicon Valley to protect the private information of dissidents and other users from repressive governments."

The complaint unsealed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in San Francisco detailed a coordinated effort by Saudi officials to recruit employees at the social media giant to look up the private data of thousands of Twitter accounts. The accounts included those of a popular journalist with more than 1 million followers and other prominent government critics.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) President Trump, a word, please.

I understand that you greatly admire your two BFFs in the Middle East, The Butcher of Yemen, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Butcher of Gaza, Israel's Bibi Netanyahu, primarily because they seem to be able to get away with anything, including murder, and never seem to have to pay a moral or political price for their actions.

I would like to politely suggest, Mr. President, that those days may well soon be over for both men.

Former Prime Minister Netanyahu was unable to create a majority for the Israeli government, and is awaiting his fate on corruption charges.

IF in fact these charges indicated above are proven true, your BFF in Saudi Arabia, the Butcher of Yemen, may well be facing a "coup-coup-a-CHOO!!", courtesy of other family members who never believed he should have been given the title of Crown Prince by his dad in the first place.

IF, in fact, by some miracle, you are re-elected in 2020, I would strongly caution you to only have around you moral and ethical people who really care about the future of this country (not just the fatness of their own wallets), and understand that the actions of this current administration appear to be those archetypal "last gasps of an empire in decline", and wish to see this country change course before it is too late.

And it well may be too late to save any vestiges of this country; I say that as someone who cares about this future of the US (because Mike and I have young family and we want to see them all thrive and survive); unfortunately, its leadership has dug itself into so many holes, post World War II, from which there is no return, that I cannot begin to enumerate them.

And one final observation, President Trump; your having positioned yourself as this country's "Merchant of Death in Chief", by signing off on weapons sales to Saudi Arabia, in its continuing, unmitigated genocide in Yemen, has not done much to endear you to those people in this country, and on the planet (I am one of them) who sincerely wish to see this country prosper by promoting peace, prosperity, innovation and through intelligent, moral, hard-won negotiations.

Dozens killed & injured in attack on Canadian gold miner convoy in Burkina Faso

A convoy of buses carrying employees and contractors of a Canadian gold mining firm and its military escort fell victim to an armed ambush in eastern Burkina Faso, leaving upwards of 37 dead and 60 injured, some reports say.
The SEMAFO convoy was attacked by unidentified gunmen some 40km from one of its mines in the Est region despite an escort by local security forces. The total number of casualties is not yet known, and an official statement from the company only mentions “several fatalities and injuries.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prayers for those killed and injured, and their families.

But one has to ask, Cui Bono?!? Who benefits?!?

One has to wonder if, after this attack, US military are quietly telling the government of Burkina Faso, that they "really need" American military protection, in order to prevent this from happening again.

Knock Knock. Who's There? Rightful Owner! Syrian Army Reportedly Reclaims Long Lost Oil Field

The majority of the country's oil fields are currently controlled by the US military, illegally stationed in the Arab Republic, and the Kurdish militia. Washington recently reaffirmed its intentions to "keep" the Syrian oil, despite objections from Moscow.

The Syrian Army started deploying its forces near the city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria, and specifically near the village of Mulla Abbas, claiming the Rumailan oilfield, which was lost to Damascus several years ago, during the civil war, SANA news agency reported. The area is located on the Turkish-Syrian border.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This illegal commandeering of Syria's oil fields by the US, may well mean that the current administration has its eyes on a shooting war with Russia over Syria's oil.

And if the US doesn't seem to be "aggressive enough" in its posture to suit its parasitic client state in the Middle East, (Israel) I am very certain that Israel's Shin Bet, would be delighted to create a false flag for us, insuring the deaths and woundings of many American service members, in order to "get the American people on board" for a nasty war against Russia.

And please remember; just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing for this administration to do, is utterly no guarantee that it won't do it.

ENTIRE “SUCCESS” OF DEMOCRATS DEPENDS ON KEEPING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILDLY IGNORANT OF REALITY

The entire “success” of Democrats depends on keeping the American people wildly ignorant of reality, facts, history, and even current events.

The few times in our history when Congress has either voted to impeach a president or considered returning articles of impeachment, the process was handled very publicly.

Hearings were not held in secret. Testimony was not taken behind closed doors. Witnesses and evidence were presented out in the open so the American people, through various media of the day, were well aware of what was happening.

The reasons for the openness should be obvious, but alas, they are not for far too many Americans.

First of all, allowing someone accused of criminal activity to face his or her accuser is a fundamental legal principle of our founding.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The bar for impeachable offences is very high; whatever the Demoncrats have will never, ever reach this bar, so what they are counting on putting on " a great show", full of half-truths, lies, misrepresentations, and unauthenticated information, to win the day for them.

Should they be successful in so doing, will be the end of whatever was left of the American republic.

AUDIENCE APPLAUDS AS HOST SAYS DEMS “NEED TO LIE” TO GET ELECTED

The audience of The View actually applauded when Joy Behar said that democrats “need to lie” in order to get elected. Basically, people don’t need any integrity or morality to join the ruling class, and people are content with that.

Behar actually admitted that democrats are going to need to lie in order to get elected. To Behar, O’Rourke’s problem was not his vow to confiscate weapons — that “hell, yes, we’re coming for your AR-15s” — it was that he was stupid enough to be honest with the American people about wanting to wipe out one of the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Behar is one of the worst Dimentocrat/Clintonista/DNC Useful idiots around these days.

That people even listen to her, and her minions on "The View", is a definite demonstration of the degree to which the US government has successfully "dumbed down" the American people, and really taken the issues of critical thinking, and moral values, completely off the table.

ACLU SUES FBI AND OTHER AGENCIES, DEFENDING PRIVACY RIGHTS OF AMERICANS AGAINST FACIAL RECOGNITION

The ACLU has sued the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other federal agencies, making claims that the government is improperly withholding information on how it uses a facial recognition database on millions of Americans. The civil rights organization also asks for a “federal court to intervene and order the FBI and related agencies to turn over all records concerning their use of face recognition technology,” according to a legal document.

“Because of the FBI’s secrecy, little is known about how the agency is supercharging its surveillance activities with face recognition technology,” Kade Crockford of the American Civil Liberties Union wrote in a post on its website.

The public has a right to know when, where, and how law enforcement agencies are using face recognition technology, and what safeguards, if any, are in place to protect our rights.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I find that I do have a "hug and a punch" relationship with this organization, but on this issue, I am having a "hug and let's do coffee" moment, with their actions here.

US Constructing Two New Bases In Syria's Oil-Rich Region: Report

Turkey's state-run media is reporting the United States is planning two new military bases in Syria's oil-rich Deir ez-Zor province, which are currently under construction, after US special forces convoys were seen patrolling the area in the past days.

Anadolu Agency, citing local sources, said the bases were under construction as evidenced by the influx of heavy equipment:

While the footage captured by Anadolu Agency showed that much construction equipment is being put into action, it was learnt the U.S. has sent 250 to 300 additional soldiers, armored vehicles, heavy weapons and ammunition to the region.

The reported added: “The military bases are being built in the 113th Brigade area and near al-Sur region,” according to the sources.

Syria's largest oil fields, which historically account for most of its domestic energy needs, are located in Deir Ezzor, including Al-Omar, Conoco, and Rumeilan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF these reports are true, it appears that the US government is "digging down" against potential Russian attacks against US facilities.

Folks, we are headed, unfortunately toward a wild geopolitical ride, potentially including a shooting war with Russia over Syria, courtesy of this administration.

This would not be a bad time to make sure you have extra storable food; extra meds for yourself and your family; and potable water.

In a Tuesday interview, Paul said that the whistleblower - reported to be CIA officer Eric Ciaramella - "is a material witness to the possible corruption of Hunter Biden and Joe Biden," and that Congress should investigate the whistleblower's ties to the Biden family and Burisma holdings, the Ukrainian gas company that paid Hunter Biden to sit on its board, according to BuzzFeed.

"[The whistleblower] might have traveled with Joe Biden to Ukraine for all we know. We should look at his writings. We should know all of this stuff to see whether or not he has any intersection with Burisma and with Hunter Biden," said Paul.

German Finance Minister Publishes New Banking Union Plan To Save The EU (And Deutsche Bank)

Less than a year after his finance ministry failed to broker a merger between Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank in a bid to rescue the flailing German lending giant (Deutsche) and create a new national champion (or so he hoped), German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz is embarking on a campaign to convince the European Union to finish work on a comprehensive banking union.

Many have argued that Europe's lack of a comprehensive banking regulatory framework make the system particularly vulnerable to chaos and infiltration by criminal groups (evidenced by the money laundering scandal that has embroiled several northern European banking giants).

And with Brexit finally nearing the end game, or so it appears, Scholz argues that Europe's global position would be at risk if it doesn't finish the integration of the eurozone's financial sector, seeing as the EU is losing one of its main financial centers in London.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With Europeans already up in arms on the effects of inviting unvetted immigrants, adding this potential financial pain to German taxpayers, will most probably, cause the next German elections to veer wildly to the right.

Stocks, Soybeans, & Yuan Suddenly Plunge On US-China Trade Deal Delay Headlines

US equity futures suddenly tumbled after Reuters reports that the signing of the US-China trade deal could be delayed until December as terms and the venue remain unclear.

Additionally, a senior official of the Trump administration told Reuters on Wednesday that it was still possible the "Phase One" agreement aimed at ending a damaging trade war would not be reached, but a deal was more likely than not.

Dozens of venues have been suggested for the meeting, which had originally been scheduled to take place on the sidelines of a now-canceled mid-November summit of Asia-Pacific leaders in Chile, the official said. They included sites in Europe and Asia, but the former was more likely, with Sweden and Switzerland among the possibilities.

Iowa, which Trump has suggested, appeared to have been ruled out, the official said. China's latest push for more tariff rollbacks would be discussed, but was not expected to derail progress toward an interim deal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the meanwhile, farmers who were counting on Trump's ability to make a difference here in his negotiations with China, are really feeling a world of hurt, right now; many have gone bankrupt, and can no longer take care of their families right now, and feel a deep sense of betrayal by Foggy Bottom.

Couple this with US land which has been unproductive, due to floods and fires, which used to produce food, and what we will most likely have next Spring, will be an under-ability to feed our citizens in this country.

What I would suggest that you do, is to look at buying an excellently-rated energy-efficient chest freezer, possibly right at the end of this year, right after Christmas. When things come on sale (or even if they don't and you can pare large packages of food down to smaller packages), you will thank yourself for having done this, when you see what food prices are look like, come 2020.

Watch: Chinese Social Credit Score Publicly Shames 'Bad Citizen' For Jaywalking

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

A video out of China shows a citizen being publicly shamed and having his photo and ID card flashed up on a big screen for crossing the road on a red light.

The Communist country’s vast network of facial recognition surveillance cameras are being linked to citizen ID cards, producing the kind of dystopia that would make even George Orwell roll in his grave.

Under its social credit score system, China punishes people who criticize the government, as well as numerous other behaviors, including;

– Bad driving.
– Smoking on trains.
– Buying too many video games.
– Buying too much junk food.
– Buying too much alcohol.
– Calling a friend who has a low credit score .
– Having a friend online who has a low credit score.
– Posting “fake news” online.
– Visiting unauthorized websites.
– Walking your dog without a leash.
– Letting your dog bark too much.

SEC's Clayton Slashes Investor Safeguards To Entice More Companies To Go Public

It looks as though the Securities and Exchange Commission isn't happy enough just allowing CEOs like Elon Musk to retain their C-suite position after committing egregious frauds like faking the largest buyout in history. The commission, under Jay Clayton, continues to make life easier for corporations while making protecting investors a second priority.

Since Jay Clayton took over as head of the SEC, 17 changes have been made and 9 more have been proposed, that are part of a broad push to help "reverse a 20-year decline in U.S. public company listings", according to Reuters. The changes include modernizing disclosures and cutting regulatory costs for companies - and just making life easier for public companies in general.

This, of course, is not without its down side: these new rules will weaken investor safeguards or diminish their rights.

Victory! Individuals Can Force Government to Purge Records of Their First Amendment Activity

The FBI must delete its memo documenting a journalist’s First Amendment activities, a federal appellate court ruled this week in a decision that vindicates the right to be free from government surveillance.

In Garris v. FBI, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ordered the FBI to expunge a 2004 memo it created that documented the political expression of news website www.antiwar.com and two journalists who founded and ran it. The Ninth Circuit required the FBI to destroy the record because it violated the Privacy Act of 1974, a federal law that includes a provision prohibiting federal agencies from maintaining records on individuals that document their First Amendment activity.

The Relationship Between CBD and the Human Brain and What it Means for the Future

Originally from Central Asia, cannabis is grown in many parts of the world today. The buds of the Cannabis sativa plant are covered in a sticky dusting of crystal resin, that contains therapeutic compounds known as cannabinoids.

There are far more cannabinoids than have been discovered. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has classified cannabinoids as a Schedule I controlled substance, the same as LSD and heroin. Owing to such regulatory barriers, the scientific inquiry and research of cannabis is difficult. However, earlier this year, the National Academy of Sciences released a new report that reviewed 10,000 scientific abstracts and reached almost 100 conclusions regarding the medical uses of marijuana and cannabis- derived products. The report suggests, "Political and non-political strategies to resolve regulatory barriers to cannabis research, an objective and evidence-based analysis of cannabis policy is necessary.”

5 Ways the Hunger Games Dystopia Happened in Real Life

By Jen Maffessanti

It’s no secret that young-adult dystopian fiction had a very real moment recently with franchises like Divergent and Maze Runner making it to the big screen. But the most wildly successful has to be the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. The movie versions featured Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence among other big-name actors like Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Liam Hemsworth, and Elizabeth Banks.

Dystopian stories are popular for sure, but you don’t have to turn to fiction to find them. We can see them in the socialist countries that existed and continue to exist in the real world...

Police Essentially Ask Federal Court to Let Them Use Excessive Force Even if Suspect is 100% Compliant

Oklahoma police have asked a federal court to support their claim that citizens who comply with police during an arrest do not have a clearly established right to be free from police brutality. The police’s justification of the use of excessive force, even in the absence of provocation, were made in a motion by City of Muskogee police seeking the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by attorneys for The Rutherford Institute on behalf of Jeriel Edwards, an African-American man who, despite complying police orders during an arrest, was subjected to excessive force and brutality, including being thrown to the ground, tasered, and placed in a chokehold that rendered him unconscious and required his hospitalization for three days.

An Obituary of the Western World

A World Based On Lies Is A False World

Paul Craig Roberts

During the course of my life I have watched the Western World abandon all of the values that made it successful. Despite all its crimes, and they are many, the Western World succeeded. Everyone wanted to be part of it, and it will be the demise of the Russians that they still do.

The Western World succeeded, because it believed in objective truth and searched for it. This resulted in scientific and technological discoveries, in architectual and artistic beauty, and in brilliant literature that educated the educatable into the human condition.

China Breaks the Western Debt Stranglehold on the World

The west has colonized, exploited, ravaged and assassinated the people of the Global South for hundreds of years.
Up to the mid-20th Century Europe has occupied Africa, and large parts of Asia.

Latin America is waking up – and so is Africa.

In Latin America, street protests against the US / IMF imposed debt trap and the consequential austerity programs, making the rich richer and the poor poorer, are raging in Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina and even in Brazil. In Argentina,In Latin America, though much of the sub-Continent was “freed” from Spain and Portugal in the 19th Century – a new kind of colonization followed by the new Empire of the United States – under the so-called Monroe Doctrine, named after President James Monroe (1817 -1825), forbidding Europeans to interfere in any “American territory”. Latin America was then and is again today considered Washington’s Backyard.

Julian Assange’s Life May be at Risk. UN Expert on Torture Sounds Alarm

The UN Special Rapporteur on torture, Nils Melzer, has expressed alarm at the continued deterioration of Julian Assange’s health since his arrest and detention earlier this year, saying his life was now at risk.

Mr. Assange was sent to a UK high-security prison on 11 April 2019 where he continues to be held in connection with a US extradition request on espionage charges for having exposed evidence for US war crimes and other misconduct in Iraq and Afghanistan. “While the US Government prosecutes Mr. Assange for publishing information about serious human rights violations, including torture and murder, the officials responsible for these crimes continue to enjoy impunity,” said Melzer.

The Special Rapporteur and his medical team visited the imprisoned Wikileaks founder in May and reported that he showed “all the symptoms typical for prolonged exposure to psychological torture” and demanded immediate measures for the protection of his health and dignity.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I hope I am wrong, but I sense that there has been an "agreement" between those in the bowels of power in DC and London, that Assange will not live to see trial in America, but will be felled by some weaponized disease which is very painful, deadly, and leaves little trace for examiners to find, post-death.

Hunter Biden’s Ukraine gas firm pressed Obama administration to end corruption allegations, memos show

Hunter Biden and his Ukrainian gas firm colleagues had multiple contacts with the Obama State Department during the 2016 election cycle, including one just a month before Vice President Joe Biden forced Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating his son’s company for corruption, newly released memos show.

During that February 2016 contact, a U.S. representative for Burisma Holdings sought a meeting with Undersecretary of State Catherine A. Novelli to discuss ending the corruption allegations against the Ukrainian firm where Hunter Biden worked as a board member, according to memos obtained under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. (I filed that suit this summer with the help of the public interest law firm the Southeastern Legal Foundation.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

Vice-President Biden, there is only one word in the English language which best describes your shake-down of the Ukrainian government over the judge going after Burisma; and that word, sir, is blackmail, pure and simple.

WE’RE BEING BLINDED TO THE DANGER OF FACIAL RECOGNITION

BY MICHAEL MAHARREY
We’ve become increasingly comfortable with facial recognition technology. We use it to unlock our phones and to skip the security line at the airport. But the convenience of facial recognition is blinding us to its dangers.

Georgetown University School of Law privacy expert Clare Garvie put together a video that explains why you should be concerned about the growing use of facial recognition technology, even if you think you have “nothing to hide.”

According to Garvie, police databases now contain images of nearly half of all Americans. She argues that without some restrictions on facial recognition, we’re rapidly hurtling toward a Chinese-style surveillance state.

As Garvie puts it, Americans are basically in a perpetual police lineup.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE INVESTIGATING “IT’S OKAY TO BE WHITE FLIERS” AS POTENTIAL HATE CRIME

SOURCE: SUMMIT.NEWS

Police in Oklahoma City are investigating “It’s okay to be white” fliers that were posted at the Oklahoma City University School of Law as a potential hate crime.

Although authorities acknowledge that the fliers were “not believed to be a threat” and that posting them wasn’t a crime because no property was damaged, the individual responsible is under investigation anyway.

“Investigators are trying to determine his intent and whether the actions are a hate crime,” reports the Associated Press.

Law school Dean Jim Roth said the OCU is “intentional and relentless” in supporting diversity and the hatred and exclusion “will not be tolerated.”

Meanwhile in another incident, a sign that read “It’s OK to be white” was hung on a bridge over a highway in Massachusetts. A local ADL spokesman said the message “excludes people” and “targets people.”

Massachusetts: It’s Okay to be White pic.twitter.com/dKkdgIuavq

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, folks, here's the deal for me; I look ... very European, because my ancestors' DNA was from a very small part of the pond, and as far as I know, that was from Denmark; Ireland; France; England; and Austria (and I have to shake my head at the timing of my Austrian ancestors' immigration, because Johann and Johanna made that pilgrimage, and became citizens, smack dab in the middle of the American civil war! Guys, PLEASE, what the HECK were you thinking?!?!?)

Now, that being said, does this make me better, smarter, more attractive, more deserving of anything, including privilege, than anyone else around me?!?

HELL, NO!! I'm just... Claire, period, end of discussion; and at 70, looking for a couple of choral conductors who "get me", and how and why I write the choral works I love to create, and just may program them one day; and even at this late age, I remember that wonderful line from the great American poet, Emily Dickinson, and that line is, "I dwell in possibility."

And THAT being said, I believe that we are all brothers and sisters on this journey through life, and for me, that means that we have a spiritual responsibility to lift each other up, in the best, most encouraging, and most loving way we can; my way is through the creation of music, and hoping that it touches hearts and minds, and fills people with love and hope and beauty, and that it might positively reflect on how they chose to live their lives, after hearing it.

There is a wonderful anecdote, in the French Christmas tradition, and the name of the tale is that of "the little juggler." And it paints this incredible picture of all the "beautiful people" lined up to pay homage to the Christ child, with incredible, luxurious gifts.

Well, in walks this little waif of a kid; no fancy clothes; no great gifts, and all of the monied people are looking down their collective noses at the boy, asking themselves and one another just what this child possibly believes he has, which could outshine what they have brought!?!

And yet, a way is made, so that the Infant Jesus can see what the child is doing, so the child takes several balls out of his pocket, and begins to juggle; and the Christ child, watching this, somehow knows that this is the greatest gift He could have possibly been given by this kid..... and smiles radiantly, an a way that says, "thank you"; the crowd is both stunned and elated, to have witnessed what had happened.

I "juggle notes and sounds" and sincerely hope that one day, they will also be met.... with smiles :-)

ISPS LIED TO CONGRESS TO SPREAD CONFUSION ABOUT ENCRYPTED DNS, MOZILLA SAYS

SOURCE: ARSTECHNICA.COM

Mozilla is urging Congress to reject the broadband industry's lobbying campaign against encrypted DNS in Firefox and Chrome.

The Internet providers' fight against this privacy feature raises questions about how they use broadband customers' Web-browsing data, Mozilla wrote in a letter sent today to the chairs and ranking members of three House of Representatives committees. Mozilla also said that Internet providers have been giving inaccurate information to lawmakers and urged Congress to "publicly probe current ISP data collection and use policies."

DNS over HTTPS helps keep eavesdroppers from seeing what DNS lookups your browser is making. This can make it more difficult for ISPs or other third parties to monitor what websites you visit.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Everyday working people deserve to have the tools for privacy and security in their systems; and the problem is, the more data the Feds collect, the less intelligible it becomes, until it becomes so overwhelming, as to become utterly useless.

The Incredible Shrinking Overton Window

The plutocrat-owned narrative managers of the political/media class work constantly to shrink the Overton window, the spectrum of debate that is considered socially acceptable. They do this by framing more and more debates in terms of how the oligarchic empire should be sustained and supported, steering them away from debates about whether that empire should be permitted to exist at all.

They get people debating whether there should be some moderate changes made or no meaningful changes at all, rather than the massive, sweeping changes we all know need to be made to the entire system.

Kushner gave Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman permission to arrest Khashoggi: report

Troops went back in and the story is out.

US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner gave permission to his friend, Saudi Arabia’s de-facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) to arrest the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi before he was brutally murdered last year, a whistleblower alleges.

Weekly British magazine The Spectator said investigators on the US House Intelligence Committee were aware of the whistleblower's claims and were planning to dig further into them.

According to The Spectator, the Turkish intelligence intercepted a call between Kushner and bin Salman, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan then used it to force Trump to withdraw his troops from northern Syria.

Islamic State Exacts Revenge On Turkey For Selling Out Al-Baghdadi

Submitted by Nauman Sadiq, an Islamabad-based attorney, columnist and geopolitical analyst focused on the politics of Af-Pak and Middle East regions, neocolonialism and petro-imperialism.

A car bomb exploded in northern Syria killing 13 and wounding 20. The blast on Saturday ripped through a crowded market in Tal Abyad, a town recently occupied by Turkish-backed militant proxies. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the blast targeted pro-Turkey fighters and civilians were also among the dead.

Even though the Turkish Defense Ministry promptly laid the finger of blame on Turkey’s arch-foe, the Kurdish YPG militia, without conducting an investigation, car bombing as a tactic for causing widespread fear is generally employed by jihadist groups and not by the Kurds.

Rebuilding Syria... Without Syria's Oil?

Compare US pillaging with Russia-Iran-Turkey’s active involvement in a political solution to normalize Syria..

What happened in Geneva this Wednesday, in terms of finally bringing peace to Syria, could not be more significant: the first session of the Syrian Constitutional Committee.

The Syrian Constitutional Committee sprang out of a resolution passed in January 2018 in Sochi, Russia, by a body called the Syrian National Dialogue Congress.

The 150-strong committee breaks down as 50 members of the Syrian opposition, 50 representing the government in Damascus and 50 representatives of civil society. Each group named 15 experts for the meetings in Geneva, held behind closed doors.

This development is a direct consequence of the laborious Astana process – articulated by Russia, Iran and Turkey. Essential initial input came from former UN Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura. Now UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen is working as a sort of mediator.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This development has been conveniently left out of nearly all accounts in the West of what is going on in Syria, and yet, is one of the most significant developments of the last year.

Pentagon Expands Permanent Africa Presence With $110M Drone Base In Niger

Signaling what will be a major uptick in US drone activity across western Africa, US African Command (AFRICOM) announced Friday its airbase Agadez, Niger has gone operational, not just flying surveillance drones as was originally expected, but also armed combat drones.

Flights from the base, called Air Base 201, began last week and the patrols are to aid US-Nigerien military patrols in rooting out regional ISIS militants and other Islamist factions which have been threatening the area. Specifically US officials say the armed drone program is badly needed due to prior ISIS ambushes on US-Nigerien troops.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Oh, you mean the US backed, trained, and funded ISIS the US has been throwing about to create chaos from which only the US military can possibly save the population of that country affected by that same chaos?!?

Just doing a reality check here.

It's all about the resources, folks.

First, go in and either regime that country's government which is not to your liking, or scare them into giving permission for the US to establish military bases in that country, to "save them from the evil ISIS" (as has been done here); expropriate the resources to which the US has absolutely no moral right, then insure that those resources are only sold in US dollars.

Anyone who cannot see the pattern here, is just not flipping looking!!

Protesters vandalize Xinhua office, public property during night of violence

Hong Kong protesters have set fire to metro stations and vandalized buildings, including an office of China’s official news agency Xinhua, during a night of violent protests after Beijing vowed to tighten control over the restive city.

Police fired tear gas and water cannon Saturday as thousands of protesters defied authorities in another unsanctioned march.

Commercial districts on the main island turned into a battlefield as squads of black-clad protesters — many wearing face masks despite a recent ban on them — clashed for hours with riot police.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The timing on this could possibly be worse for China's President Xi; but I don't know how much. There was a secret meeting of China's government last week China's Top Political Body met in secret, and issued an ominous message to Hong Kong. The article goes on to state:

:Hong Kong has now been a thorn in the Chinese government’s side for more than four months.

Mass protests which began over a controversial China extradition law have grown into more violent demonstrations over fears around Beijing’s tightening grip on the important financial hub.

Until now, the Chinese government has been relatively restrained on the protests, stating their support for the Hong Kong government and their faith in local authorities to resolve the crisis.

But there have been hints of tougher action by Beijing if the demonstrations grew out of control or if they crossed any of the Communist Party’s “bottom lines.”

“Don’t ever misjudge the situation and mistake our restraint for weakness,” Yang Guang, spokesman for mainland China’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, said in August.

It is almost certain that the situation in Hong Kong was widely discussed behind closed doors in Beijing during the fourth plenum this week but very little of that appears in the final communique.

“Hong Kong and Macao must be governed in strict accordance with the Constitution and the Basic Law, and the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao should be safeguarded,” the statement said.

It then stated the need to “improve” the legal system and enforcement mechanism in Hong Kong and Macao.

That is likely to be a euphemism for enacting Hong Kong’s hugely controversial Article 23 national security law, according to Willy Lam, an adjunct professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and longtime analyst of Chinese politics."

US troops back at military bases in northeast Syria

US troops are reportedly back in military bases in northeastern Syria which they had previously evacuated ahead of Turkey's military action against Kurdish forces in the area.

Turkey's Anadolu Agency has reported that American forces arrived in the west of Syria’s northern province of Raqqa on Saturday to rebuild their military base.

A US military convoy, including a personnel carrier armored vehicle, a mine flail and a utility vehicle, arrived in Jazira base located west of Raqqa via Syria's northeastern province of Hasakah.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me completely unsurprised by this move.

Netanyahu Accuses Hamas of Firing Rockets at Israel From Gaza

On Friday, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that a total of 10 rockets had been fired from Gaza, including eight projectiles that had been intercepted by the Iron Dome air defence system.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas was responsible for all rocket attacks against Israel from Gaza.

“We are in a very sensitive security period, that is explosive in several spheres in the east, north, and south,” Netanyahu said.
“Immediately after the rocket fire on the Gaza envelope, I convened a top level security meeting in the military headquarters in Tel Aviv,” he stressed.

The Israeli military reported that the rockets were fired late on Friday. Eight of them were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome air defence system. One of the rockets hit a residential building in southern Israel, damaging it.

Tensions near the Gaza Strip border heightened on Friday amid the 81st anti-Israeli protest, dubbed the Great March of Return.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One can only wonder at what targets the IDF will hit in Gaza, or elsewhere, when it uncorks the next time; I am having a sense, however, that the next time may well be very soon; the crisis in Lebanon, with Al-Harari's resignation last Tuesday, may,, for Tel Aviv's taste, be just... too good NOT to attempt some kind of intense disturbance there.

The Middle East's New Post-Regime-Change Future

Authored by Matthew Ehret via The Strategic Culture Foundation,

With the transformation of the rules of the “Great Game” in the Middle East emerging out of President Trump’s recent Syrian surprise pullout and Putin’s brilliant manoeuvres since 2015, a sweeping set of development/reconstruction programs led by China now have a chance to become hegemonic across the formerly hopeless, terrorist-infested region.

The fact that the Arab states of the Middle East were targeted for destruction by western geopoliticians over the last 40 years is not un-connected to the region’s historic role as “cross-roads of civilizations” which were once the bridge between East and West along the ancient Silk Road (c. 250 BC). Today’s New Silk Road has brought 150 countries into a multipolar model of cooperation and civilization-building which necessitates a stabilized Middle East in order to function.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) the Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika makes war to attempt to achieve what it wants, geopolitically; China makes deals, to achieve what it wants, geopolitically; so what's wrong with this picture?!?

Bloody everything

Chaos in Brooklyn as 1,000 anti-cop protesters storm subway stations yelling after a spate of violent arrests and the city's vow to add even MORE officers

Nearly a thousand protesters took to the streets of Brooklyn to demonstrate against the NYPD after a spate of violent arrests on the subway and over its plans to put more officers on the beat to catch anyone who skips paying the fare.

The protesters started gathering in Downtown Brooklyn near Barclays Center at about 7pm Friday, with their signs reflecting the dual nature of the march.

While flashier banners bore slogans such as 'Don't let these pigs touch us,' 'F**k the police,' 'Punch that cop' and 'NYPD out of MTA,' other signs read 'Free transit,' 'Poverty is not a crime' and 'Our subways need more $ for elevators, not for cops.'

Their grievances stem from two issues. One, alleged police brutality against New Yorkers including a group of teenagers who officers were seen fighting with in a recent viral video.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Other than in New York tabloids, and the Daily Mail, I didn't see a word about this, in the US press; I have to wonder why?!?

I can venture a couple of guesses.

First, it demonstrates an absolute unraveling of the thread of civility, in US society; and I have to tell you; I am very grateful that Mike and I are no longer in, or reasonably near, a really major city right now, because that is where, unfortunately, I think, you may find demonstrations like this spreading.

And a lot of our kids may well die, because of having participated in such demonstrations.

After the Rodney King riots in LA, Post Rodney King Police Acquitted in Trial for Brutality, LA sees massive riots two very popular actors, Edward James Olmos, and Arsenio Hall, raced from soundstage to soundstage at the various TV stations, telling particularly the young people to go home, and stay there; these gentlemen will always be my heroes for trying to ratchet down the genuine, and legitimate, anger and upset during these times.

But the Guardian goes on to state very clearly what the triggers here were: "From the aerial shots of Los Angeles provided by news helicopters, the city looks like a war zone. The flames devouring sections of this sprawling southern California metropolis were started by arsonists and fuelled by righteous anger over the not guilty verdict in the Rodney King police brutality case.

The casualty figures are also those of a war zone. Murderous mobs howling "No justice, no peace!" have left more than 10 people dead and 140 wounded in less than 24 hours. As I write the entire south central section of Los Angeles is under a state of emergency as 2,000 national guardsmen armed with military weaponry converge on the area.

To those familiar with police-community relations in Los Angeles all of this was predictable. It is the inevitable explosion that will result when unanswered cases are allowed to fester until they become social dynamite.

For years now there has been a steady stream of complaints against the Los Angeles police department and its chief, Daryll Gates, alleging a policy of excessive use of force when arresting criminal suspects. These complaints generally came to nothing when brought before a police review board dominated by officials from the police hierarchy.

Repeated calls for an expanded review board that would include civilians have gone unheeded. Most complainants in a police brutality case have not been able to provide sufficient evidence to support criminal charges against officers."

I would like to hope that both religious, police, and civil leadership, will work together to cobble out some understanding with these Brooklyn youth; if not, we may be looking at a wave of unrest here at home, that may eclipse anything we have seen so far in other countries in a very unprecedented way.

Keystone Pipeline Does as Experts Predicted, Spills 383,000 Gallons of Oil in North Dakota

Yesterday, the Keystone pipeline leaked an estimated 383,000 gallons (9,120 barrels) of oil into wetlands in North Dakota. The leak is already the eighth-largest pipeline oil spill of the last decade. The tar sands oil transported through the Keystone pipeline is particularly hard to clean up because, unlike crude oil, it sinks in water.

Keystone operator TC Energy’s (formerly TransCanada) alarming spill and safety record has come under scrutiny as it attempts to build the controversial and much larger Keystone XL pipeline through the midwestern United States and Indigenous treaty lands.

In response, Greenpeace USA Senior Research Specialist Tim Donaghy said:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wow! I didn't know that the numbers here were so staggering; but in terms of donations to state, and national candidates, oil companies have them.... how can I say this delicately... by a VERY sensitive part of the human anatomy, not to mention their campaign wallets.

And let's remember the very disturbing legislation which has been passed in a number of states, as noted by the following article from theguardian.com:

Wave of new laws aim to stifle anti-pipeline protests, activists say.

Our indigenous First Peoples tried to tell us, from the get-go, that Keystone Pipeline would create massive problems, as have other pipeline projects, due to cavalier, as-cheap-as-possible, adherence to safety standards; this accident has absolutely proven them right.

No Ceasefire/Ceasefire in Northern Syria. The Pentagon Will Use Overwhelming Force to Maintain US Control over Syrian Oil

rom one or more illegally established airbases in Syria, as well as other other regional ones, Pentagon warplanes, attack helicopters, and drones continue terror-bombing Syrian sites at the discretion of its commanders.

US troops still occupy large parts of northern and southern Syrian territory indefinitely, including oil producing areas — looting them for private and CIA profiteering, as well as wanting Damascus denied revenues from its own resources. That’s what grand theft is all about.

All of the above are war crimes as defined under the UN Charter and other international law. The US and its imperial partners remain unaccountable for crimes of war and against humanity in all their war theaters.

The same goes for US economic terrorism against Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, and other countries — high crimes gone unpunished.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are moments when I absolutely do not recognise the country of my birth; it appears that every ethical, reasonable, and moral qualities which made the US a good place to live, and a good neighbor to have, internationally, have been abandoned by this Government, and for quite some time now.

The American people are no longer in any kind of even symbolic control of their government; their government has morphed into some kind of a hydra-headed monster, feeding the unending, death-and bearing appetites of its military industrial complex, while telling what is left of Middle Class America, that they must do with less, so the government can have more.

Laughter Over the Left Shoulder at Russia’s TragedyThe West is trying to undermine Russia’s historic achievements by demeaning and vilifying its people, culture, religion, and way of life. Why?

But the real irritant is that Russia will not bow down to Western dictates. The very fact that Western sanctions have not crippled and destroyed Russia makes Western leaders irate. In a surprising, though understandable way, the sanctions have helped the Russian home-grown production of goods to flourish. After all, Russia must make its own decisions for the survival of its people. It is the West’s growing irrelevance to Russia, which it itself caused, that enrages its governments.

It Isn’t Just the Rohingya. Myanmar Is Now Attacking Buddhists in Rakhine State, Too.This latest battle could be the army’s undoing.

MRAUK U, Myanmar—Here in the town of Mrauk U, in Myanmar’s troubled Rakhine state, there has been little to celebrate during this October’s Thadingyut, the second-most important annual festival of the Buddhist calendar. Normally, the auspicious full moon would be hailed with a floating armada of delicate candlelit paper lanterns and song, theater, and dance.

Yet this year, there are no celebrations.

Instead, at 9 p.m. sharp, a curfew falls as soldiers from the Myanmar Army, known as the Tatmadaw, emerge from their posts to pull barbed wire and steel barricades across roads. Shops and businesses shutter, the streets empty and lights flickering out.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the persecution of Rohingya Muslims by their militant Buddhist overlords, Myanmar has become one hell of a mess, and one which, apparently, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Aung San Suu Kyi, is impotent to stop.

But Buddhists militarily clashing with their brother and sister Buddhists?!? One has to wonder if one group is planning a coup, and "regime change" for this country.

I never thought, in my life, that I would have to say, "Watch out for the Buddhists!" unfortunately, these acts of the existing Myanmar government, may it impossible NOT to mention this.

Israeli guards fire tear gas into prisoner’s hospital room

An Israeli prison guard deployed to watch a hospitalized Palestinian prisoner reportedly fired tear gas into the intensive care unit room where the man was convalescing after treatment for injuries sustained during interrogation.

The Hebrew newspaper Maariv reported that an Israel Prison Service guard “accidentally” emitted tear gas in Samer Arbeed’s room at the Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem earlier this month, requiring doctors to intervene.

Maariv said the incident was never reported to the prison service.

Arbeed was hospitalized on 27 September following his interrogation by Israel’s domestic intelligence agency, the Shin Bet.

But being hospitalized has not stopped his ordeal and Israeli prison authorities have continued to question Arbeed even while in the ICU.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So torturing prisoners desperately attempting to recover from injuries the IDF has already caused by previous torture, is now standard practice in Israeli jails?!?

People who do this, and get pleasure from inflicting this kind of pain, cannot possibly be humans; and Mengele would be so proud of the louthead who did this!!!

And incidents like this, of which, I am sure there are many, simply create an even stronger argument for BDS to be applied to all Israeli-made goods, internationally; most Israelis speak Hebrew, but they are all bi-lingual when it comes to income, or the lack of it.

As protests rock Baghdad and Beirut, Iran digs in

As governments in Iraq and Lebanon stagger and stumble under huge waves of popular protest, powerful factions loyal to Iran are pushing to quash political upheaval which challenges Tehran’s entrenched influence in both countries.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri has resigned and the government of Iraq’s Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi has been pushed to the brink of collapse.

Both governments have enjoyed backing from the West. But they have also relied on the support of political parties affiliated with powerful Iran-backed Shi’ite armed groups, keeping allies of Tehran in key posts.

That reflects the relentless rise of Iranian influence among Shi’ite communities across the Middle East, since Tehran formed the militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon in 1982 and after Saddam Hussein was toppled in Iraq in 2003.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to legitimately ask; to what extent is the US involved with this unrest, leading, it is hoped by the anti-Iran forces, to destabilization in Iraq; Lebanon; and ultimately, Tehran?!?

RUSSIA CLAIMS U.S. WILL SMUGGLE $30 MILLION OF OIL OUT OF SYRIA EVERY MONTH UNDER TRUMP'S 'CRIMINAL' PLAN

Russia's foreign ministry spokesperson has accused the U.S. of "criminal activity" with regards to President Donald Trump's plan to deploy troops to guard oil fields in eastern Syria.

Maria Zakharova said Friday that the Trump administration was engaging in illegal smuggling, and estimated Washington stands to make tens of millions of dollars every month from the oil extracted in the region.

According to state news agency Tass, Zakharova said the U.S. was "bypassing its own sanctions" to take the oil—"worth over $30 million per month"—from Syria. She also suggested the U.S. forces deployed "are not going to leave these areas in the near future."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I frankly think that the Russian estimate, may be just a little too conservative.

But the on-going question, and one which I hope is keeping at least a few of our people in power in Foggy Bottom is, just how long is Russia going to allow this to continue, before it uncorks with its own military response to kick the US out of Syria?!?

We have invaded a sovereign country, into which we were not invited; funded and trained its enemy jihadists toward the goal of regime change in Damascus, and now... we're processing its oil?!?

What is wrong with this picture?!?

BLOODY EVERYTHING!!

The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinian Christians That Nobody Is Talking About

Palestine’s Christian population is dwindling at an alarming rate. The world’s most ancient Christian community is moving elsewhere. And the reason for this is Israel.

Christian leaders from Palestine and South Africa sounded the alarm at a conference in Johannesburg on October 15. Their gathering was titled: "The Holy Land: A Palestinian Christian Perspective".

One major issue that highlighted itself at the meetings is the rapidly declining number of Palestinian Christians in Palestine.

Increasingly beleaguered, Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem have been driven out from their historic city in large numbers. According to the city’s mayor, Vera Baboun, as of 2016, the Christian population of Bethlehem has dropped to 12 percent, merely 11,000 people.

The most optimistic estimates place the overall number of Palestinian Christians in the whole of Occupied Palestine at less than two percent.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To those Evangelical Christians who support Israel so intensely, they had better take a look at these numbers, and figure out for themselves if this country, suppressing both Christian and Muslim Palestinians, is really worth the aggravation.

I don't know what the Hebrew translation of "useful idiots" may be, but I can nearly bet you, that this phrase comes up very frequently, in conversations in the Bowels of Power in Tel Aviv, and if Evangelical, Israel-supporting Christians really knew what most Israelis think about them, it would truly break their hearts.

US Drone Base in Niger Now Operational, Armed Flights Being Carried Out

AFRICOM says flights started this week, refuses to say which sort of drones are being used.

US African Command (AFRICOM) announced on Friday that the controversial Nigerien Air Base 201, meant to house US surveillance and combat drones, is now open and operational, and flights began earlier this week.

After an ambush by ISIS against a joint US-Nigerien military patrol, the US began pushing Niger for permission to fly not just surveillance drones, but also armed drones. In the panic after the attack, they got permission, starting the long road to constructing this large base.

And while AFRICOM is championing this as expanding US interests in the region, they are refusing to provide any indication what sort of US drones will be based out of the site, saying there are “security concerns” about that.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You may well wonder, what the hell is the US military doing in Niger?!?

Pretty much the same thing it does other places, and most likely for the following reasons: Niger: natural resources

The article goes on to say:

"Niger is a nation on the western part of the African continent, and it spans an area of about 490,000 square miles, making it West Africa’s largest country. The Sahara Desert covers more than 80% of the country, and the country’s population stands at 21 million people. Despite the country's vast natural resources, it is considered a developing nation. In 2018, its GDP was ranked as the 136th highest in the world at $9.869 billion. Niger's GDP per capita, on the other hand, was ranked as the 179th highest at $510. Some of Niger's most important natural resources include arable land, oil, and forests among others."

One has to wonder, with so much formerly arable US farming land having gone gone "mammary glands vertical" due to punishing floods, and tariffs which have destroyed many of America's farmers, if some kind of food production in Niger is being contemplated by the US, in light of the fact that we are headed into one brutal winter, and soon may not be able to feed our own citizens adequately?!?

But this follows the usual pattern to a T;

Either regime change a country, or get a government stark raving, crazily convinced that some foreign power ( in this case, ISIS - the US trained and funded operatives here) is trying to upstage it and regime change it, so that government gives the US military "carte blanche" to do what it will.

Then, expropriate those resources, to which the US government has no moral right, and sell them for only US dollars.

Put down those who protest against this arrangement, even thoroughly peacefully, "with extreme prejudice", and "pacify them".

Wash; rinse; repeat. Is it not obvious to you what is going on here?!?

The Lynching of the Charismatic Geek

The original sin of Julian Assange was the same as that of Galileo Galilei. Galileo sinned by revealing to the people things the elite already knew or at least surmised, but wished to keep secret from the masses, in order not to shake the people’s faith in the official truth. Assange did the same thing with the formation of WikiLeaks The official version of reality was challenged. All lies should be exposed. By far the most sensitive targets of his wide-ranging reality revelations were the lies, the hypocrisy, the inhuman brutality of the United States in its wars of global hegemony. To Assange, these things were simply wrong.

At first, WikiLeaks attracted a great deal of popular attention and even acclaim. Julian Assange became famous. He was a geek, but he didn’t look like a geek. Tall, handsome, striking with his nearly white hair, Julian was something strange: a charismatic geek.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am very concerned that when the man gets back to the US for his "Show Trial/Star Chamber Treatment, that he will die very soon after that from one of a plethora of US-weaponized diseases, as have, most probably, other truth tellers to society.

Assad Calls Trump "Best US President" Ever For "Transparency" Of Real US Motives

Assad's commentary on the latest White House policy to "secure the oil" in Syria, for which US troops have already been redeployed to some of the largest oil fields in the Deir Ezzor region, was the biggest pressing question. The Syrian president's response was unexpected and is now driving headlines, given what he said directly about Trump, calling him the "best American president" ever – because he’s the "most transparent."

“When it comes to Trump you may ask me a question and I’ll give you an answer which might seem strange. I tell you he’s the best American president,” Assad said, according to a translation provided by NBC.

“All American presidents commit crimes and end up taking the Nobel Prize and appear as a defender of human rights and the ‘unique’ and ‘brilliant’ American or Western principles. But all they are is a group of criminals who only represent the interests of the American lobbies of large corporations in weapons, oil and others,” he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Al Assad gets how power politics get played in this country better, unfortunately, than many of its citizens do.

Antifa Terrorists Stalk Journalist Andy Ngo at His Home on Halloween – Ringing his Doorbell and Banging on Windows in Andy Ngo Masks

In what looked like a scene from The Purge, six members of Antifa went to the Portland home of journalist Andy Ngo — while wearing paper masks of his face.
Unsettling footage of the hooded, gloved, and masked harassers was captured by Ngo’s security camera.

Ngo was violently attacked and robbed by Antifa while attempting to cover a protest in June. He was hospitalized with a cerebral hemorrhage.

I was beaten on the head & robbed on 29 June. Antifa then continued to hurl "milkshakes" at my bleeding face. I was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage. There still hasn't been a single arrest by @PortlandPolice. Help me seek justice; join my legal fund: https://publiuslex.com/pf/justice-for-andy-ngo/

Since then, far-leftists have been sending him death threats and doxing him and his family.

Now, they are going to his home, according to the security footage that Ngo posted online.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; have Portland police been ordered to "stand down" when it comes to protecting this reporter, who someone in their camp nearly killed this last June?!?

There are moments when I no longer recognize the country in which I was born; and folks, this is sure as hell one of those moments.

Trump Freezes Lebanon Military Aid After Israel Voiced Concerns

Amid recent statements by both Iranian and Hezbollah leaders accusing the United States of hijacking the massive anti-corruption protests which have gridlocked Lebanon for over the past two weeks, the White House has made the dramatic and unexpected move of freezing US military aid to the Lebanese Army.

The money, part of a military aid package totaling $105 million, had been approved by Congress and the State Department, and requested by the Pentagon. Interestingly, proponents of the package argued that it would allow the Lebanese Army to grow more independent, making it less cooperative with Hezbollah.

According to Reuters the aid was frozen two days following Tuesday's resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, who in a parting speech admitted he'd "reached a dead end" amid the protests which have reportedly involved one million people, or up to 25% of Lebanon's total population, and further called on "all Lebanese to protect civil peace".

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ultimately, it was Winston Churchill who originally made the statement, "Never let a good crisis go to waste", echoed many years later by Rahm Emanuel, during the Clinton years.

The crisis, has been the corruption by Lebanon's government, leading to the resignation of Al-Hariri, last Tuesday.

Israel's government, and military, have collectively been itching for a reason to invade, and do a decap strike against Hezbollah, and Beirut simultaneously, creating a "regime change" to their liking.

All that is needed now, is some kind of "justification" to make this happen, and I would suggest that the timing may well be sooner rather than later; after all, the Litani River is only 5 kilometers away from the Israeli border, and the Israelis have had their eye on this resource for quite some time now.

With the current Lebanese government now in very visible meltdown from this resignation, Tel Aviv may well believe that they have their chance now to invade, and this is most probably the reason the military aid from the US was to the Lebanese military was gutted.

THE SURGE: U.S. DOJ AND TRUMP TO FURTHER MILITARIZE POLICE -- $600 BILLION IN EQUIPMENT

BY AARON KESEL
U.S. President Donald Trump is using his executive order signed in 2017 to expand the militarized police forces across the nation in preparation to launch a sweeping crackdown on crime that Trump referenced was “the surge” according to a press event at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference and Exposition.

“In the coming weeks, Attorney General Barr will announce a new crackdown on violent crime — which I think is so important — targeting gangs and drug traffickers in high crime cities and dangerous rural areas,” Trump said during the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in Chicago. “Let’s call it the surge,” the White House press release reads.

The President didn’t provide any details on the plan but he stated that the actions would be “very dramatic.”

Trump further expressed his administration’s “achievements” like putting military equipment into the hands of U.S. police officers, as Activist Post reported.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word, please; there are many cops who do their jobs excellently well; many of us have police who are in our own families, either on active duty, or retired.

And the police, in these various scenarios, are not the bad guys; it is how drug laws are written in this country which is creating problems; and those who cannot learn from history are, unfortunately, doomed to repeat it.

I think that most of us, with some degree of mental clarity, can agree that what the passage of Prohibition did in this country, by making alcohol illegal, was to create a criminal class and led to the organisational development of early gangs which controlled it, and defended their turf, or territory, to the death, and forced many municipalities to surrender control of many American streets to the most vicious, "money junkies" one could possibly imagine.

Is this having a very "contemporary ring" to it?!? Because, Mr. President, it should.

I don't know if anyone in your "Inner Circle has" mentioned the example of Portugal, and how it got drug use down, particularly among impressionable young people. This article comes to us from theguardian.com, from 2017:

Portugal's radical drug policy is working; why hasn't the world copied it?

Close to the conclusion of this article, is the following, thoughtful paragraph:

"Massive international cultural shifts in thinking about drugs and addiction are needed to make way for decriminalisation and legalisation globally. In the US, the White House has remained reluctant to address what drug policy reform advocates have termed an “addiction to punishment”.

But if conservative, isolationist, Catholic Portugal could transform into a country where same-sex marriage and abortion are legal, and where drug use is decriminalised, a broader shift in attitudes seems possible elsewhere. But, as the harm-reduction adage goes: one has to want the change in order to make it."

If this country would take the money out of this trade, by decriminalizing drugs, and by encouraging people to get social/psychological care to help them get off the drugs, that would be an immense start.

But of course, that would wreak financial havoc from all those who profit from the sale of these drugs, and I am not just talking about the cartel bigwigs; you have to imagine that some of this money may well go to political candidates hell-bent on keeping drugs illegal, and therefore, more profitable to those very cartels.

We also have to include those executives at major banks who sign off on laundering drug money; and then, there are those very financially lucrative private prisons which run what can only be described as state-sponsored slave labor camps for those who get caught selling or using, where the levels of recidivism is horrific.

Mr. President, we, as Americans, are better, brighter, and more imaginative than to be sticking with drug policies which are engineered to fail, ultimately for private profit; you have a background as a business person, and you - of all people - should understand this.

So please, President Trump, let us continue to support this Country's police departments, by giving them laws and policies which they, and the citizens they protect and serve, can live with; and that, sir, could become one of your most sterling accomplishments to date, as this country's President.

IN KUWAIT, SLAVES ARE BOUGHT AND SOLD ON INSTAGRAM

“You can wake her up at 5AM, she won't complain.”

Slavery is one of many industries made more efficient by Silicon Valley, and specifically, Facebook-owned Instagram.

A new BBC investigation reveals the widespread online sale of human beings in the mideast for domestic labor. The buyers and sellers use services from Instagram, Facebook, Apple, and Google to facilitate slavery transactions.

Housekeepers and nannies are purchased and sold as slaves through Instagram, promoted using hashtags, and promoted on other apps in Google Play and Apple's App Store.

These workers live their lives in Kuwait mostly behind closed doors, invisible and with no rights to protest abuse by their employer/enslavers.

Excerpt:

After being alerted to the issue, Facebook said it had banned one of the hashtags involved.

Google and Apple said they were working with app developers to prevent illegal activity.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The moral degeneracy of those who have signed off on these practices, in spite of their alleged "virtue signalling" by deplatforming conservative voices, it is painfully apparent, from this BBC report, that Facebook/Apple/Instagram/Google still have zero problems facilitating slavery, if the price for such services is right.

And do not believe for one second, that the owners of these tech giants "really don't know what is going on here": Sergei Bryn; Tim Cook; Mark Zuckerberg, you all have some explaining to do, particularly to your shareholders, and it has to start with deplatforming those sites which enable slavery in Kuwait in the 21st century, and right the hell now!!

THE MISSING PIECES OF AL-BAGHDADI’S EXECUTION PUZZLE

Here, let me try to dispel a myth peddled by the corporate media and foreign policy think tanks that the Islamic State originated from al-Qaeda in Iraq. Many biased political commentators of the mainstream media deliberately try to muddle the reality in order to link the emergence of the Islamic State to the ill-conceived invasion of Iraq in 2003 by the Republican Bush administration.

Their motive behind this chicanery is to absolve the Obama administration’s policy of nurturing the Syrian opposition against the Syrian government since the beginning of Syria’s proxy war in 2011 until June 2014, when the Islamic State overran Mosul in Iraq and the Obama administration made a volte-face on its previous “regime change” policy of providing indiscriminate support to Syrian militants and declared a war against a faction of Syrian rebel groups, the Islamic State.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Whatever President Obama did, with regard to the Middle East, he generally did "on the sly"; this article places him at the very epicenter of attempts to take Syria's President Al Assad down with US trained, funded, and armed jihadists.

Why Women Destroy Nations/Civilizations and other uncomfortable truths

Women do not on an instinctual level care very much about her tribe nation or civilization. It's in their nature not to. Women are biological creatures like all others and they seek to maximize their chances of having viable offspring. This half century long experiment of women's liberation and political enfranchisement has ended in disaster for the West. And the damage done to the West may be irreparable. And the only solution would be a return to a more patriarchal society and this seems highly unlikely. I want you to hold on to this key thought as the meaning will become clear as this video progresses.

HOW CONTROLLING SYRIA’S OIL SERVES WASHINGTON’S STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES?

SOURCE: NAUMAN SADIQ, BLACKLISTED NEWS

Although Donald Trump claimed credit for expropriating Syria’s oil wealth, it bears mentioning that “scorched earth” policy is not a business strategy, it is the institutional logic of the deep state. President Trump is known to be a businessman and at least ostensibly follows a non-interventionist ideology; being a novice in the craft of international diplomacy, however, he has time and again been misled by the Pentagon and Washington’s national security establishment.

GHISLAINE MAXWELL WAS A GUEST AT JEFF BEZOS’S SECRET BOOK RETREAT

SOURCE: VICE
Every fall, the elite of the literary world and Hollywood convene at a highly secretive writer's retreat hosted by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and no one talks about it.

Not every Campfire attendee is a household name: Tech entrepreneurs and industry power brokers are also invited to rub shoulders with celebrities.

Now, Motherboard has learned that one of Campfire 2018's attendees was Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite who is alleged to have been instrumental in grooming young women into convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking ring. Reporting on Maxwell’s alleged role, via victim statements and court records, goes back to 2011.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me unsurprised by these revelations; more than a few people at this level of wealth are generally amoral monsters, who contribute great amounts of money to various charities as this is their"virtue signaling" to the rest of society.

FIVE YEARS ON, SAUDI ATTACKS ON YEMEN'S FARMERS ARE PUSHING THE WHOLE COUNTRY INTO FAMINE

SOURCE: MINT PRESS

HODEIDA, YEMEN — The country of Yemen, known in the medieval period as “Green Yemen,” is one of the most extensively terraced areas of the world. There, Yemeni farmers transformed rugged mountain slopes into terraces and built dams like the Great Marib, a structure whose history spans long enough that it was mentioned in the Quran. During the medieval period, Yemen had one of the widest ranges of agricultural crops in all of the Middle East.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to politely remind Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, that a collective punishment of a people, by denying them food and causing them to starve and die, is a war crime.

And yes, I do understand that America's Merchant of Death in Chief, President Trump, has been aiding and abetting your cause militarily in Yemen, making my government complicit in war crimes as well, the moral rightness of so doing utterly never occuring to the man, because "it makes money" for the US's military/industrial complex, and of course, that makes it right, in Trump's eyes.

And sir, I really don't know what goes on in that royal head of yours, but there is one thing of which I am absolutely, thoroughly convinced; in spite of your billions, history will not remember you or your minions kindly at all.

In fact, they will have a name for you, and this is how you will be remembered; The Butcher of Yemen.

Not quite what you had imagined, is it, as your "legacy"?!? Then stop killing, poisoning, and sickening the Yemeni people!!

Anyone with just two brain cells to rub together, understands that the only way out of this mess, initiated by your government almost 5 years ago, is through intelligent, hard-won, and ethical negotiations with the Houthi rebels; God knows, you have tried everything else, and the military conflict still comes to a draw, and we have seen how capable the Houthis have become at effectively fighting back, and hitting Saudi targets.

IMPEACHMENT THEATER

SOURCE: MOON OF ALABAMA
Ukrainegate is the new Russiagate. The 'whistleblower complain' is the new 'dirty dossier'. The 'former' MI6 spy Christopher Steele wrote the dossier. The current CIA spy Eric Ciaramella wrote the 'complain':

Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
Further, Ciaramella (pronounced char-a-MEL-ah) left his National Security Council posting in the White House’s West Wing in mid-2017 amid concerns about negative leaks to the media. He has since returned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

“He was accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump,” said a former NSC official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If this whole thing does not horrifically reek of "set-up", I do not know what will.

Pig Plague Starts Rippling Through American Meat Markets

U.S. meat markets had so far been shielded from the effects of a deadly pig disease wiping out Asian herds. That’s starting to change.

As pork supplies plummet in China, the world’s top consumer is desperate for meat and is ramping up imports. As a result, it’s becoming harder to set longer-term protein contracts amid concerns over market volatility and changing trade flows, according to Jayson Penn, chief executive officer of Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., the No. 2 U.S. chicken producer.

“The contracting season is moving somewhat slower this year” for chicken, Penn said on a conference call with analysts following the release of third-quarter earnings. While major fast food restaurant chains are looking for beef contracts, “there are not many sellers willing to forward price,” he said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to politely suggest, that if our readers/listeners do not currently have a freezer, you might want to think about getting one right now, possibly splitting the cost with a friend or family member.

Because of illnesses, and non-planting in those states ravaged by rain and/or fires, food prices next year, will be very intense; the time to plan for this contingency, is right the heck now. I would almost be willing to bet this will be a really saving grace for people as spring comes up in 2020.
