The Apartheid Prime Minister

There is someone responsible for the nation-state law and that someone is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Although he usually leaves controversial decisions to his political partners, this time Netanyahu positioned himself front and center in support of the constitutional discrimination against Israeli citizens who are not Jewish.

Netanyahu made it clear Friday to Druze leaders who asked him to amend the law that he was prepared to give the Druze economic benefits but would not change the legislation’s discriminatory wording. On Sunday he attacked the left (“They need to do some soul-searching”), and demanded that Likud ministers “fight for the truth,” a barb at his right-wing rival Naftali Bennett, who suggested amending the law to accommodate the Druze.

Russian Ambassador Tells Israel: We Can’t Force Iran to Leave Syria

Speaking on Israel’s Channel 10 news, Russian Ambassador Anatoly Viktorov told the interviewer that Russia cannot force Iran to withdraw its military from Syria, no matter how many times Israel demands them to.

Israel has been demanding Russian intervention for months, but Iran has ruled out leaving unless Syria tells them to. Russia tried to come up with a compromise where Iranian forces would stay 100 km from the buffer zone, but Israel rejected that as well.

Viktorov told the reporters that Iran’s military presence in Syria “is fully legitimate according to the UN principles and the UN charter.” He added that Russia is “not okay” with any Israeli attacks on Syria, but that it wasn’t up to Russia to prevent them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Israeli government loves the "big lie" technique, both to exaggerate their own claims, and also to terrify their domestic population.

It will be interesting to see what Israel does regarding Syria after this announcement; but I would not believe that backing off their attacks against Syria will happen any time soon.

Putin sends his army chief to Israel, France and Germany for the first time

Never before had Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forced Valery Gerasimov traveled on a joint tour abroad. Obviously, these two officials play the role of "messengers" who clarify certain issues for Putin-Trump meetings. Yet, why does Gerasimov need to attend meetings in Berlin and Paris, if Germany and France play a secondary military role in Syria?

Boat with medical supplies trying to break Gaza blockade seized by Israeli navy

A vessel belonging to the Freedom Flotilla activist group was “hijacked” by Israeli forces after having been “threatened” via radio, the group said on Sunday. The boat was en route to Gaza with 22 people from 16 nations on board and carrying a cargo of €13,000 ($15,000) worth of medical supplies. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the interception of the vessel, saying it violated the blockade of Gaza. The IDF added that the boat is now being towed to the port of Ashdod and all the supplies can only be delivered through it.

Israel seeks to isolate Palestinians from global support

Two Dutch researchers were detained, subjected to humiliating treatment and abuse and then deported by Israel earlier this month.

Their experience is part of Israel’s policy to isolate Palestinians from the outside world and obstruct the work of human rights defenders.

Israeli security forces took Lydia de Leeuw for questioning immediately after she landed at Ben Gurion airport on 20 July.

Before the interrogation started, she was handed a file with personal details and other information already completed, including a decision by the interior minister to deny her entry.

Suffering starts all over again in Gaza

Fadel Abu al-Qumsan has survived two attacks in the past four years.

Early on 3 August 2014, Israel bombed his home in the Jabaliya refugee camp of northern Gaza. Two of his nieces and his brother-in-law were killed.

In recent months, Fadel, 53, and his family have once again been hurt by Israeli state violence.

On 6 April 2018, Fadel joined the Great March of Return to demand that Palestinians uprooted by Zionist forces in 1948 be allowed to return home.

At approximately 3 pm, he fell to the ground screaming. He had been shot in the leg by an Israeli sniper.

Fadel was roughly 700 meters from the boundary fence between Gaza and Israel at the time.

“I didn’t expect to be injured,” Fadel said. “I’m an old man and I was standing away from the fence. But it seems that Israel does not distinguish between children, young people, the elderly or women. This was a clear message from Israel that anyone who participates in the demonstrations is a target.”

Israeli Arab Poet Dareen Tatour Gets Five-month Sentence for Incitement on Social Media

Palestinian poet Dareen Tatour was sentenced to five months in prison Tuesday by the Nazareth District court. Tatour, an Israeli citizen, was convicted in May of incitement to violence and supporting terrorist organizations, based on her social media posts.

Following the sentencing, Tatour said she was not surprised. "I expected prison and that's what happened. I didn't expect justice. The prosecution was political to begin with because I'm Palestinian, because it's about free speech and I'm imprisoned because I'm Palestinian."

Caravan Of Evil Reveals Evidence Of Western/Israeli Intelligence Assets In al-Qaeda, White Helmet Groups

By Brandon Turbeville

As more and more information comes out regarding the Caravan of Evil (i.e. the evacuation of the White Helmets from Southwestern Syria to Jordan and Israel and then on to Europe), there is also more and more evidence backing up the suspicions by many writers in the alternative media including myself regarding the nature of the specific White Helmets being evacuated. Namely, the idea that these individuals were more than just more al-Nusra Front propagandists, but valued intelligence assets...

Meet VIAB: Virginia’s Taxpayer-Funded Israel Lobby

Originally created by an uncodified act in 2001, VIAB has been funded by Commonwealth of Virginia taxpayers. Its charter is to “advise the Governor on ways to improve economic and cultural links between the Commonwealth and the State of Israel, with a focus on the areas of commerce and trade, art and education, and general government.” VIAB is a pilot for how Israel can quietly obtain taxpayer funding and official status for networked entities that advance Israel from within key state governments.

In intercepting boat bound for Gaza and seizing 22 aboard, Israel violated int’l law and journalists’ rights

Two people from Al Awda (The Return) have been released, but most of the crew and participants are still in unlawful detention at Givon prison in Israel. Union asks NZ Govt to condemn Israel over 'violent attack and unlawful detention' of national director

Unite Union is asking for the Government to condemn Israel over what it calls a violent attack and unlawful detention of its national director.

The incident took place on Monday morning, and Mike Treen was allegedly violently hijacked by the military and unlawfully detained along with other international campaigners on board the ship Al Awda.

The crew were taking part in a mission to deliver aid to the Palestinian territory of Gaza. The boat was said to have been loaded with medicines.

Eyewitnesses report that Treen's boat was hijacked in a violent raid and that he and the rest of the crew are being held in Givon prison, 100km north of Tel Aviv.

Only two of the 22 passengers on the ship have been released.

One of those released, Zohar Chamberlain Regev, the boat leader, reports that at the time of boarding: "People on board were tasered and hit by masked IOF soldiers.

SOS Message: ‘Israel Kidnapped Participants of Freedom Flotilla’

A desperate SOS message was released by crew onboard a Norwegian-flagged flotilla that was intercepted by Israel on Sunday, as activists attempts to break a more than decade-long blockade of the Gaza Strip failed.

National Director of the Unite Union New Zealand representative on the International Freedom Flotilla to Gaza, Mike Treen, announced the hijacking of the boat by Israeli naval forces in a video.

He claimed the flotilla participants have been kidnapped by Israel, in a pre-recorded message, and alleged that Israel had violated international maritime law by launching the “attack” on the flotilla.

“If you are listening to this message it is because the al-Awda of the international flotilla to Gaza has been hijacked in international waters and the participants kidnapped by the Israeli military forces,” he said in a video message.

It added that the soldiers also shot Ghazi Mohammad Abu Mustafa, 45, with a live round in the head, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Ghazi is the husband of Lamia Abu Mustafa, a nurse who never left the medical tents hundreds of meters away from the parameter fence, providing medical aid to wounded Palestinians.

ISIS Attacks Against Syria Were Ordered By Israel, Fearing SAA Gains

Retired Syrian brigadier General Ali Maqsoud said that there is a direct link between the terrorist attack in the town of Sweida on July 25 and the downing of Syrian aircraft by Israeli missiles.

For Maqsoud, both attacks were caused by the successes of the Syrian Army. As for the attack on the Syrian plane, Israel aimed to protect terrorists and claim the right to the occupied territories of the Golan Heights. Due to the massive terrorist attack, Americans now have ‘reason’ to remain in Syria.

“The United States has established a base in the Al-Tanf [border region of Sweida province] for the training of tens of thousands of terrorists, who were behind the ISIS attack on the 25th. The US now has a pretext for remaining in Syria, meaning they have given the terrorists an advantage in order to stay in Syria,” he said.

‘All countries must protect their nationals on board the Freedom Flotilla’

Chairman of the International Committee for Breaking the Siege of Gaza, Zaher Birawi, has called on all countries with citizens on board the Freedom Flotilla to protect the lives of their nationals and ensure the delivery of medical aid and fishing boats to the besieged Gaza Strip.

In a press statement issued yesterday, Birawi condemned the Israeli aggression on the flotilla ships in international waters which saw activists arrested and medical supplies seized.

“The legal committee and lawyers of the Freedom Flotilla will do everything necessary to ensure the participants’ safety and their release,” he said.

Birawi stressed that the Israeli navy forces’ interception of the ships in international waters is “piracy in violation of international laws, and an aggression on peaceful activists who do not constitute any threat to the occupying power”.

Heavy Economic Loss in Besieged Gaza due to Israeli Ban of Basic Goods

Israeli occupation authorities have banned, for the 19th day in a row, the entry of basic goods and humanitarian aid, via Kerem Shalom crossing, the sole commercial crossing with Gaza, MP Jamal al-Khudari, head of the People’s Committee to Face the Siege, stated on Sunday.

Khudari said that the most recent truck was loaded with thousands of daily-needed basic goods, in addition to raw materials for industry, building materials, clothing, textiles, wood, household items, stationery and other essentials.

Al-Khudari said, in a press statement, that this prohibition is causing the Palestinian economy, which is already deteriorating due to the blockade, and Israeli policies, direct and indirect losses of millions of dollars.

Freedom Flotilla was intercepted by the Israeli navy on Sunday afternoon, approximately 70 miles from the Gaza Strip shore. Israeli Navy Forces stopped the ship in international waters in violation of international maritime law, after shouting toward the boat via loudspeaker and asking for the boat’s destination.

In a statement, the High Committee for Return and Breaking the Siege called upon the international community to take its responsibility and provide the necessary protection for the Freedom Flotilla Fleet, while also promising increased efforts to break the siege.

“We will move in all directions until the world is convinced that there is no alternative to breaking the siege,” the Committee said.

How Israel Silences Palestine in EU Circles

The Israeli propaganda machine works internationally to undermine the role of Palestinian NGOs which disclose Israeli violations of international law, and maintain the well-being of Palestinian people.

Imagine the following: a toxic op-ed is published that defames your organisation. You contact the website on which it features and are invited to publish a rebuttal.

The next day, you submit your article. As the editors are about to put it online, they are targeted by a sophisticated disinformation campaign.

More than a dozen people call the editors, seemingly on your behalf, and apply heavy pressure to publish the article. One of the callers even tries to bribe them to get it published.

This confuses and intimidates the editors, who have never experienced anything like it.

They fear that publishing under pressure may damage the independence and reputation of their website, which is a news magazine for the European Parliament.

Poison toothpaste, prisoners hypnotised to kill: How Mossad, Israel's secret service, has become the world leader in assassins with 800 operations in the last decade

Forty years ago, Wadie Haddad was one of the world’s most wanted men. Bold, determined, ruthless, Haddad was the founder of the far-Left Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

He trained notorious terrorist Carlos the Jackal and masterminded the hijack of an Air France plane that was flown to Entebbe in Uganda and later rescued by Israeli commandos.

Not surprisingly, the Israeli secret service, Mossad, wanted him dead. But six years after they first put out a ‘kill order’, Haddad was still very much alive, living in apparent comfort in Baghdad.

What happened next was worthy of a James Bond thriller. On January 10, 1978, a Mossad agent inside Haddad’s inner circle, known only as Sadness, switched his toothpaste for an identical tube laced with a deadly toxin, developed in a secret laboratory near Tel Aviv.

Every time Haddad brushed his teeth, a tiny quantity of the toxin worked its way through his gums into his bloodstream.

NOW IT’S ILLEGAL TO BEAUTIFY APARTHEID

Israeli border police on Saturday arrested two Italian graffiti artists who were painting a mural of a jailed Palestinian teenager, Ahed Tamimi, on the Israeli separation barrier in Bethlehem in the West Bank, according to Palestinian officials.

Tamimi, now 17, was sent to prison for assault after being filmed kicking and slapping an Israeli soldier late last year, when she was 16. She is due to be released on Sunday.

Tamimi became a heroine to Palestinians after the Dec. 15 incident outside her home in the village of Nabi Saleh was streamed live on Facebook by her mother and went viral.

An Israeli police spokesman did not return a call for comment.

Hasbara is dead

Hasbara [Zionist propaganda] has died. The Israeli effort to "explain" its actions to the world - that era is over. Israel has given up trying to explain itself to fair-minded people. Because the fair-minded have all made up their minds; the slaughter in Gaza has seen to that ... No, its explanations are reserved now for the hard-core supporters. The hasbara is pure propaganda, aimed at rallying the base. And everyone else is tuning out ... Then there's Israel's embrace of apartheid and massacre as its only answer to its constitutional problem, the Palestinians. There is no vision in Israeli leadership, and after four Gaza massacres, everyone knows it. At a July 4th party a guest who used to love Israel admitted it may not be around 30 years from now ... Hasbara always relied on a passive American press and active advocates for the Israeli line who got airtime.

HOW MOSSAD, ISRAEL'S SECRET SERVICE, HAS BECOME THE WORLD LEADER IN ASSASSINS WITH 800 OPERATIONS IN THE LAST DECADE

Every time Haddad brushed his teeth, a tiny quantity of the toxin worked its way through his gums into his bloodstream.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mossad did the same thing to Yasser Arafat, by poisoning his toothpaste with polonium.

But for a country which boasts about itself being a bastion of alleged "democracy" (except for the Palestinians, of course), being #1 in the world for assassinations is, indeed, a thoroughly dubious distinction.

The Madness Gripping Washington

The United States and Israel have been threatening Iran for something like twenty years, using the pretext that it was developing a nuclear weapon initially, but also more recently declaring that Tehran has become a threat to the entire Middle East. Both contentions are essentially lies, concocted by an Israel and Saudi Arabia that would prefer to have Iran removed as a possible impediment to their own ambitions. And they would like the United States to do the removing. Iran is the hottest of all hot spots in the American view, but the tendency of the White House to threaten first before engaging in negotiations has meant that most nations have come to see the United States as the greatest threat to peace worldwide.

The counter terminology to Holocaust Denial should be Holocaust Belief

WHAT IS THE HOLOCAUST? It's a belief, nothing more. If you try to get hold of it, touch it, find where it exists, you discover you can't and it doesn't. It's words, it's stories, it's narrative. It's more similar to religion than to history. The 'history' has been built up after the fact around the religion, or belief, to give it greater plausibility.
The Holocaust is a few photos from a few very selective places taken in 1945 after the Allies gained total control of the air and bombed the hell out of everything in Germany.

On Israel’s little-known concentration and labor camps in 1948-1955

Much of the grim and murky circumstances of the Zionist ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the late 1940s have gradually been exposed over time. One aspect – rarely researched or deeply discussed – is the internment of thousands of Palestinian civilians within at least 22 Zionist-run concentration and labor camps that existed from 1948 to 1955. Now more is known about the contours of this historical crime, due to the comprehensive research by renowned Palestinian historian Salman Abu Sitta and founding member of the Palestinian resource center BADIL Terry Rempel.

The facts are these.

Mattis Rejects Viral Australian Report On Impending US Iran Strikes

A day after an Australian ABC report went viral with the claim that the White House has drawn up plans to strike Iran's alleged nuclear facilities as early as next month, Defense Secretary James Mattis said on Friday morning it's a "complete fiction".

The Australian Broadcast Corporation report cited high level defense and intelligence figures: "Senior figures in the Australia's Turnbull government have told the ABC they believe the US is prepared to bomb Iran's nuclear capability," and perhaps most alarmingly added, "The bombing could be as early as next month."

Fox News national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin questioned Mattis about the report on Friday:

I asked Mattis about report US preparing strikes against Iran.

MATTIS: "I have no idea where the Australian news people got that information. I am confident it is not something that is being considered right now. I think it is a complete, frankly, it's fiction."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now, I would tend to believe the reports by Australian Broadcasting Corporation, over what Mattis is saying; I believe, however, that they got their timing wrong.

Please remember; 4 November is the "drop dead date" which President Trump has imposed upon the entire world, for not buying Iranian oil.

That date is the Sunday, before the US primaries, which occur Tuesday, 6 November.

I think it very likely for the Trump administration, using Israel intel, to do some kind of definitive military action against Iran either on the 4th, or the 5th of November, to insure that the GOP hangs on to their majority come election day.

Israeli police raid al-Aqsa mosque after clashes; two dead in Gaza

Israeli troopers entered Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque, the third-holiest shrine in Islam, and carried out arrests on Friday in what police described as a pursuit of youths who had lobbed rocks and fireworks during clashes with its forces outside.

The rare raid, on a site that is an emblem of Palestinians' statehood hopes and a frequent catalyst of their conflict with Israel, came as medics in Gaza said Israeli army gunfire killed two people - including a boy - during a weekly border protest.

A police spokesman said the troopers were sent into al-Aqsa after suspects who had barricaded themselves in after running confrontations in the surrounding compound, during which masked men launched firecrackers from handheld canisters.

There was no immediate word of any violence in the mosque, whose older male worshippers said they had been allowed to exit after being searched. Witnesses later saw around 20 younger men detained by police, and said mosque prayers later resumed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I seriously hope Abbas is completely wrong about that last statement; this is the last thing the Middle East needs right now.

Palestinian Truth-Telling Criminalized by Israel

Palestinian journalists daring to expose Israeli high crimes face extrajudicial arrest and imprisonment on the phony pretext of threatening national security.

Israeli violations against Palestinian media freedom are rampant. According to the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA), violations occur regularly, 62 reported in June alone – including by PA authorities acting as Israel’s enforcer.

Earlier in July, Israel shut down Al-Quds TV, banning its operations, prohibiting journalists from working with it on the phony pretext of inciting terrorism – code language for truth-telling the Netanyahu regime wants suppressed.

MADA denounced what’s going on, saying the latest “assault comes within a systematic and aggravated Israeli policy to suppress media freedoms and silencing journalism in Palestine by all forms of assaults, particularly, shutting down media institutions.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Think a moment; if everything the Israeli government and military are doing against the Palestinians is absolutely honorable and moral, why are they suppressing the reporting of it?!?

Teenaged girl shot by Israeli soldiers to walk again

A Palestinian teenage girl, who was shot by Israeli soldiers during anti-occupation rallies on Gaza Strip, will be able to walk again, her doctor said.

Meryem Abu-Matar, 16, who lives in Gaza’s Rafah city, was brought to Istanbul for medical treatment.

Since March, Abu-Matar has been through 42 phases of surgery, the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) said on Thursday.

The girl can now walk with the support of a walker.

She will soon be able to move without any support, said Dr. Mehmet Veli Karaaltin, her surgeon, who identified her wound as "severe".

He added that the treatment will last a year.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Abu Matar said: “I was targeted because I carry a Palestinian flag. I will continue my struggle."

“My message to the world is that the Palestinian people are unfairly under blockade. We will continue this struggle until we are free," she added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let me get my head around this: this 16 year old young woman was shot, not because she attempted to hurt any IDF member, but because she was carrying a Palestinian flag?!?

I have, BTW, just fired off an email to the charity helping this young woman, asking if Americans can, without legal repercussions against them, contribute to this charity. If so, I will create a link at WRH to their organisation. Their website can be found here:

Trump team preparing economic plan as part of Mideast peace proposal - official

A long-awaited Middle East peace plan from the Trump administration will include what the White House is calling a robust economic plan to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, an official has said.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys are also working on the most detailed set of proposals to date for the overall plan, the White House official said in a briefing with reporters on Monday.

The plan thus far has no release date. Trump had hoped to reveal it early this year but his decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the embassy there, reversing decades of U.S. policy, inflamed tensions in the region.

The Palestinians have said that they have lost faith in the Trump administration to act as a fair mediator and have boycotted the process since last December’s Jerusalem announcement.

The White House has offered few details on a peace plan that has drawn widespread scepticism even before its unveiling.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please: you and your Envoy, Jared Kushner, keep deliberately, and horrifically akwardly, missing the point here.

For the Palestinians, a peace deal with Israel is NOT about economic development; had it been just that, this would have resolved itself long ago.

The issue, gentlemen, is a viable homeland for the Palestinian people, and a recognised state, living in harmony, and trading with Israel.

This is what I am betting your "proposal' is missing in its entirety.

And until, and unless, this is resolved to the point where the Palestinian have a legitimate, recognized homeland, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank will continue to be embroiled in low-intensity, high Palestinian casualty combat against Israel, with Israel continuing to fight stones... with sharpshooters' bullets.

Senators Threaten Action If Europe Ignores US Sanctions Against Iran

A group of 10 Republicans senators have issued a joint letter to the ambassadors from Britain, France and Germany saying they are “troubled” by European efforts to evade newly imposed US sanctions against Iran.

President Trump withdrew the US out of the P5+1 nuclear deal, of which all three of those European nations are still party to. The US thus considers the deal over, and wants all the pre-deal sanctions back in place. The European nations, and the EU in general, are trying to save the deal, irrespective of US opposition.

The letter demands that the European nations “comply with all American sanctions,” and warns that continued attempts to avoid doing so could be met by “congressional action” against the Europeans for resisting them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, and these 10 Republican Senators (all high recipients of AIPAC money, I might imagine), a word, please, gentlemen; what are you going to do to every nation which refuses to go along with these sanctions?!?

This giving the world a "drop dead date" (4 November of this year, I believe) by which the world was commanded by the US to NOT buy Iranian crude oil, was utterly not thought through.

And I would imagine that some countries are going to come up with very creative ways to not allow US sanctions to impinge their buying of Iranian oil (cryptocurrencies, perhaps, that the US would not be able to touch.)

Then what, gentlemen?!? Go to war with Iran, and the rest of the world which needs to buy their oil?!?

And please, in all this rush to demonize Iran (potentially ahead of a military strike against it), I hope someone in the bowels of power is asking themselves this question; what will Russia do, in the case of a US/Israeli attack against Iran?!?

Will the Duma and Putin just sit on their hands, singing "Kumbyah"?!?

I would strongly tend to doubt this.

Also, what will Turkey do, which actually shares a common border with Iran, and the government of which has stated that it will absolutely not observe the US boycott on Iranian oil?!?

I sincerely hope that someone in DC is losing sleep over this. It was NOT a tactic calculated to bring the Iranians to the negotiating table, after President Trump withdrew the US from the P5+1 agreement, which the IAEA, comprised of very bright people, said was working.

Gaza hip-hop artist: Israeli snipers shot up my performance

My name is Ibrahim Ghunaim. I’m 26 years old rapper from the Gaza Strip. I perform under the moniker MC Gaza.

You may have seen this video of me performing near the front lines of the Great March of Return as Israeli snipers gunned down our youth and rained torrents of tear gas upon us. It’s with a heavy heart that I inform you that was the last video I recorded before in the Gaza Strip before leaving – likely permanently.

Israel closes Nabi Saleh village, home of Ahed Tamimi

Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance gate of the Palestinian village of Nabi Saleh, in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah, yesterday evening, preventing the entry and exit of residents.

According to local sources, a large number of Israeli occupation forces was deployed in the village and completely closed its entrance forcefully preventing residents from entering or exiting.

Locals added that the closed gate forced them to take longer, alternative routes.

With less than a thousand residents, Nabi Saleh is one of the smaller villages in the occupied West Bank.

Since 2009, the village has held weekly Friday demonstrations, along with a dozen other villages in the occupied West Bank in protest against Israeli occupation policies.

PCHR Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (19 – 25 July 2018)

Israeli forces continued to use lethal force against Palestinian civilians, who participated in peaceful demonstrations organized within the activities of the “Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege” in the Gaza Strip, which witnessed for the 17th week in a row peaceful demonstrations along the eastern and northern Gaza Strip border area. During the reporting period in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces killed a Palestinian civilian while 2 civilians succumbed to their previous wounds. Moreover, the Israeli forces wounded 124 others, including 30 children, 4 women, a male journalist, and a female journalist. 3 of those wounded sustained serious wounds. In the West Bank, the Israeli forces killed a Palestinian civilian and wounded 5 others, including 2 children.

Birthrighter Asks: Why Do People Care More About Adelson’s Money Than The Lives Of Palestinians?

Birthright, arguably the most influential Jewish educator of American Jews, sends 50,000 young Jews to Israel on “apolitical” tours that deny them access to the truth about the occupation. A recent slew of public walk-outs from these trips have resulted lawsuit threats.

Birthright leaders know that if masses of Jews actually see the reality of Israel’s military rule over millions of Palestinians for themselves, they will not only be unable to support it — they will also join the growing movement to end the occupation.

Israel forces teachers to leave Palestine

Israel has completely shut down a Palestinian university in Jerusalem amid a series of assaults on academic freedom.

On 14 July, Israeli police raided and shut down the Hind al-Husseini college in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, prohibited an academic conference from taking place and detained 15 participants of the conference.

Police acted on the order of Gilad Erdan, Israel’s minister of public security and strategic affairs, who claimed that the conference promoted “incitement” against the Israeli state.

As well as being in charge of policing, Erdan leads Israel’s global effort to thwart activism in support of Palestinian rights.

Jordanians refuse to work on the Israel-Jordan gas pipeline

A Jordanian company was misled into selling sand that would go into building the Israel-Jordan gas pipeline.

But once managers found out the true purpose of the delivery, they picked up the sand with excavators and put it back in their trucks.

The Dwairi Contracting company was told that the sand was for a fellow Jordanian citizen and sent the trucks carrying the materials on that understanding.

But when they got to the building site, workers realized its true purpose.

“The sand delivery that was sold on the grounds that it was for a citizen has been retrieved, after discovering that it was for the Zionist gas pipeline,” Fuad al-Dwairi, the head of the company, stated on Facebook.

In what will surely go down as one of the more memorable Zionist blunders in this conflict, the Israeli attack in response meant to hit Syrian positions instead hit missile launchers used by ISIS.

Flashback: The Jewish Family Making Billions From The Opioid Crisis

The [Sackler] family's fortune comes from selling pharmaceuticals - most notably OxyContin, the addictive painkiller at the center of America's opioid epidemic. A new profile in Esquire chronicles the life and business practices of Arthur, Mortimer and Raymond Sackler, three brothers from a Jewish immigrant family who built a medical empire. Their descendants privately own Purdue Pharma, which was instrumental in using lobbying and advanced marketing techniques to convince doctors of the need to manage patients' pain - and then prescribe OxyContin to manage it. As OxyContin use ballooned in the 1990s and 2000s, so did addiction.

Straight Talk About Zionism: What Jewish Nationalism Means

A Zionist Jew, by definition, owes his primary loyalty to the Jewish community and to Israel. Zionism is not compatible with patriotism to any country or entity other than Israel and the world Jewish community ... Zionist Jews and their non-Jewish supporters embrace a blatant double standard. Jewish-Zionist organizations, along with their non-Jewish allies, support one social-political ideology for Israel and the world Jewish community, and a completely different one for the United States and other non-Jewish countries. They insist that ethnic nationalism is evil and bad for non-Jews, while at the same time they vigorously support ethnic nationalism -- that is, Zionism -- for Jews.

Israel’s ‘Jewish nation-state’ law a prelude to annexation

When the Netanyahu government passed a Basic Law this week enshrining a superior set of rights for Israel's Jewish citizens, it ushered in a new era of open apartheid. To appreciate the significance of the new nation-state law, one must understand why the bill split Israel's nationalist camp, and why demographic factors forced it to the fore. After the final vote, ruling Likud lawmaker Avi Dichter, who sponsored the bill's first iteration, explained its true purpose. "We are enshrining this important bill into a law today to prevent even the slightest thought, let alone attempt, to transform Israel to a country of all its citizens," Dichter gloated after the law passed this week ... Of course, ever since the state was founded in 1948, Israel has discriminated against its non-Jewish Palestinian citizens in a myriad of ways.

US PREPARING TO BOMB IRAN'S NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES AS SOON AS NEXT MONTH: REPORT

As the White House convenes a policy meeting on Iran Thursday involving senior Pentagon officials and cabinet advisers under national security adviser John Bolton, and after a week of intense saber-rattling by President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, a new bombshell report by Australia's ABC says the White House is drawing up plans to strike Iran's alleged nuclear facilities as early as next month.

Crucially, Australia is part of the so-called "Five Eyes" global intelligence partners which includes the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and plays in a key role in hosting top-secret facilities that guide American spy satellites.

According to the breaking report, ABC [Australian Broadcasting Corporation] has learned the following based on statements of key senior defense and intelligence officials:

Senior Government figures have told the ABC they believe the Trump administration is prepared to bomb Iran

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please, Lord, NO!!

This would be the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing that the US government could possibly do, at this time.

But in looking at countries which are already balking at being forbidden by the US government from buying Iranian crude, or experience severe sanctions, like Turkey,it is possible that the White House believes it cannot isolate Iran enough economically, before its stated "drop dead date' of not buying Iranian oil (4 November) that it thinks it must move swiftly on a decap strike against Tehran.

While painting the 13-foot mural, Chirwin obscured his identity by keeping a black cloth wrapped around his head.

Israeli “self-defense” against Palestinians is logically impossible

News media outlets frequently present outbreaks of large-scale violence in Palestine-Israel in terms of “Israel’s right to defend itself.” This narrative says that whatever Israel may be guilty of, the state is justified in using military force to respond to Palestinian attacks.

But such media narratives about Israel’s “right to defend itself” mislead readers by ignoring the permanent violence of Israel’s colonization of Palestine and the aggressive pursuit of ethnic supremacy that this colonization entails.

The Israeli state was founded by massacring and ethnically cleansing Palestinians. Since Israel was created, it has repeatedly massacred Palestinians and Arabs in other countries, particularly Lebanon.

Painting a false picture

Shupak takes a novel approach. Rather than examine the bias in news accounts, he focuses on editorials in The New York Times with the aim of revealing the mainstream media’s underlying ideological support for a state closely aligned with US foreign policy objectives in the Middle East.

Shupak shows that framing narratives revealed in editorials rely on selecting only certain aspects of reality, which are then echoed in news accounts. Those selections reinforce already held beliefs and cultural assumptions.

Once this dominant narrative is established, no other aspects of reality are presented that might undermine the framing.

As Shupak puts it: “In the West, narratives about Palestine-Israel activate the ‘well-established knowledge structures’ that exist in a broader cultural context that is colonial, imperialist, Orientalist or some combination of these, wherein Israel is widely regarded as an outpost of Western civilization in a struggle with backward, savage Arabs.”

The Rapture Will Take Place TOMORROW

One of the things I have come to understand about prophetic futurism is that EVERYTHING HINGES ON ISRAEL. That’s why prophecy preachers and dispensational Bible teachers are obsessed with modern Israel. To them, Israel is at the core of their understanding of prophecy. I will even dare to say that, to them, Christ is not the focus of prophecy; Israel is.

This flagrant misinterpretation of Scripture (popularized by Scofield) has turned modern Israel into a god in the eyes of many Christians. Oh, they would never admit to committing the sin of idolatry with Israel, but in truth, that is exactly what many of them are doing.

Israeli Soldiers Demolish A Kindergarten And A Women’s Center Near Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday morning, Jabal al-Baba Bedouin Palestinian community, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a kindergarten and a women’s center.

The soldiers surrounded the Palestinian community and assaulted many residents, before demolishing the kindergarten and the women’s center.

The attack is part of a series of violations, and constant Israeli attempts to displace the Palestinians from Jabal al-Baba, in addition to al-Khan al-Ahmar, and numerous communities, for the construction and expansion of its illegal Jewish-only colonies, in direct violation of International Law.

The illegal Israeli colonialist plan, known as ‘E1 Jerusalem Plan’ meant to encircle the eastern part of Jerusalem with colonial settlements to surround the city, and claim it for Israel, denying the Palestinian people’s historical and ongoing claim to the city.

Lieberman tells Gaza: Overthrow Hamas to become ‘Singapore of Middle East’

Israel’s Defence Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, has issued a video calling on Palestinians in Gaza to overthrow Hamas in order to turn “the refugee camps into the Singapore of the Middle East”.

The video, which was spoken in Hebrew with English subtitles, was distributed by Israel’s Office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) yesterday and circulated on its social media outlets.

Lieberman said in the video that “my message to the people of Gaza is simple: you can choose between poverty and unemployment or work and making a livelihood, between hatred and bloodshed or coexistence and personal security.” He added: “We [Israel] can be your ideal partners in an effort to turn the refugee camps into the Singapore of the Middle East.”

Israel: A Lodestar State for the White Nationalist Movement

“I have great admiration for Israel’s nation-state Law. Jews are, once again, at the vanguard, rethinking politics and sovereignty for the future, showing a path forward for Europeans.” – Richard Spencer, poster boy for the ‘Alt-Right’ and White Nationalist Movement.

The aforementioned statement, sent out by Spencer as a tweet on July 21st, was made in response to the passage through the Israeli Knesset of the Basic Law on Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People. It was his acknowledgement of Israel’s formal declaration of itself to be a racialist, ethno-state.

It is important to clarify what the primary objective of Political Zionism was from the outset: This was to found a Jewish state centered in Palestine to the exclusion of all other races and religions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this law becomes the clarion call for ultra-rightists and the white nationalist movement in the US, it looks as though Israel's "nation-State law" is already having some very serious unintended consequences.

What Israel wants, and Palestinians’ numerical supremacy

A few days ago, the Israeli Knesset passed the Jewish Nation State law by a majority of 62 votes. This law denies the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination on their own land, and stipulates that the right to determination in occupied Palestine, which the law refers to as Israel, is reserved only for Jews. It also stipulates that the state of Israel is the nation state of the Jewish people where they can achieve their natural, cultural, religious and historical right to determine their fate.

In addition, the new law recognises Jerusalem as the unified capital of Israel, and considers the promotion of settlements to be a national virtue that must be encouraged and strengthened. The law has also downgraded the status of Arabic from an official language, which it has been since the British Mandate period, to a “special status” language.

Syria - For The Third Time Israel Falsely Claims Iran Pull-Back Deal With Russia

A typical Israeli propaganda scheme is to falsely claim that an agreement with some entity has been made and to then push that entity to stick to a "deal" it never agreed to. Israel dislikes any 'Iranian presence' in Syria. It tries to press on Russia to push Iran out of Syria by claiming that Russia offered or made such a deal.

Last fall a campaign in Israeli media claimed that Russia had agreed to push Iran away from the border with Israel. Russia denied that anything like that happened. Iranian forces in Syria are legitimately there. In late May a similar campaign repeated that scheme. It claimed that the Russian Foreign Minister had agreed to move Iran out, when in fact he had called on U.S. forces to leave Syria.

Trump Says Ready to Make ‘A Real Deal’ With Iran

During his speech in Kansas City on Tuesday, President Trump said he is “ready to make a real deal” with Iran, adding that “Iran is not the same country anymore.” He also said this new deal would not be like the “disaster” deal made by the Obama Administration.

The statement comes just two days after President Trump’s bellicose Tweet threatening Iran with “consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before.” Speculation was that this was an attempt to replicate the US strategy in North Korea, where threats were followed with successful diplomacy.

Yet Iran and North Korea are clearly dramatically different situations, not the least of which because Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons, or a nuclear arms program to dismantle. Willingness to negotiate at all with Iran is a substantial difference in Trump Administration position, however.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, I would like to politely suggest, that there is no "deal" you can offer Iran with which to replace the P5+1; they are not going to give up their missile program, and are continuing nuclear enrichment under the supvervision of the IAEA June, 2018: Iran to inform IAEA of Start of Process o Boost Uranium Enrichment Capacity

You have told the world that the "drop dead date" for them to purchase Iranian crude is 4 November of this year. Trump Demands World Stop Buying Iranian Oil by 4 November, 2018, or face economic sanctions

The timing of your deadline is the Sunday before mid-term elections in this country, Tuesday, 6 November; but what if most of the world disregards your sanctions, as it appears China is set to do?!?

Are you going to declare war on every nation on earth which does not comply with your demand?!?

Will November 5th, be a day of a decap strike against Tehran, to show Irael, the US, and the world, how completely "butch" you are in terms of imposing regime change in Iran?!?

And what happens, sir, if there is a joint US/Israeli strike against Iran, but Russia comes into the fray on Iran's side?!?

I would like to hope, sir, that there is someone in your Administration who has thought all the above scenarios through to their logical conclusions; risking war with both Iran, and Russia, because it is you who has pulled the US out of the P5+1 deal, demonstrates neither sound, nor logical thinking, and potentially puts you... and this Administration... between Iran and a hard place.

SYRIA - FOR THE THIRD TIME ISRAEL FALSELY CLAIMS IRAN PULL-BACK DEAL WITH RUSSIA

Yesterday we saw a third attempt by Israel to pretend that Russia had offered or made a deal to counter 'Iranian presence':

A senior political source participated in the meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem Sunday evening.
"It was made clear again that we would not accept Iranian consolidation in Syria, not near the border, and not in the 100-kilometer strip that the Russians are talking about and committing to," the senior official said. "We said that there is long-range weapons placed beyond this area and all these forces have to leave Syria. Russia has considerable capabilities to deal with this, because it is a very significant factor within Syria."

Palestinian child killings spike in 2018

Israeli occupation forces raiding a refugee camp in the West Bank shot a 14-year-old boy in the chest, killing him, on Monday.

Arkan Thaer Halami Mizher was wounded as residents of Dheisheh camp near the city of Bethlehem confronted raiding soldiers.

“Israeli forces closed the main road, preventing ambulances from reaching the area,” Defense for Children International Palestine stated. The boy was taken in a private car to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Such raids are commonplace throughout the West Bank.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – JULY 25, 2018: ISRAEL SHOOTS DOWN SYRIAN WARPLANE BOMBING ISIS TERRORISTS

On July 24, the Syrian military faced the expected Israeli military actions resulting from Tel Aviv’s displeasure with the fact that its long-time supported militant-held buffer zone east of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights is crumbling.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) employed two Patirot air defense missiles to shoot down a Syrian Su-22 warplane involved in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) operation against ISIS in the area. One pilot, Colonel Umran Mare, died in the incident.

Israel claimed that the warplane entered about 1 mile into its airspace, meaning the occupied Golans, and was shot down after a few warnings. The Syrian side said that this once again shows Israeli support for terrorist groups operating in Syria.
