Israel Has Come Into Direct Confrontation With Iran

***
As a comment on this incident, I stress that it constitutes a turning point in the situation of the region. What follows will be very different from what preceded it. This is an incident that cannot be considered lightly contrary to what happens with many incidents here. It is a turning point, a historic turning point. And when the Israelis committed this stupid act, they had some assessment (of the situation), but I tell them that their evaluation is false. And even in the future, since you have opened a new path in the confrontation, (you should ensure) not to be wrong in your evaluations. In this new path you opened and initiated, don't be wrong in your assessment, when you are face to face, and directly (in conflict) with the Islamic Republic of Iran.>>>

Abbas says Jews’ behavior, not anti-Semitism, caused the Holocaust

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday said that the Holocaust was not caused by anti-Semitism, but by the "social behavior" of the Jews, including money-lending. In a long and rambling at speech in Ramallah at a rare session of the Palestinian National Council, Abbas touched on a number of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories during what he called a "history lesson," as he sought to prove the 3,000 year-old Jewish connection to the Land of Israel is false.
Note: So tell me please how is an Eastern European Jew who has not had a single relative set a single foot in Palestine have a 3000 year Jewish connection to Palestine. It doesn't!

Israel to Russia: We Sat Out Western Sanctions, so Help Us in Middle East

Israel’s defense minister reminded Russia on Thursday of his government’s decision not to join Western sanctions against it, and asked that Moscow reciprocate with a more pro-Israel approach to Syria and Iran.

Avigdor Lieberman’s appeal followed Russia’s rare calling out of Israel over an April 9 air strike in Syria, and came as US President Donald Trump mulls scrapping the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal by May 12, a review opposed by Moscow.

“We value these relations with Russia,” Lieberman said in an interview with the Russian newspaper Kommersant.

“Even when our close partners pressured us, as in the case of sanctions againstRussia, we did not join them”>>>

Trump proclaims May Jewish History Month

President Donald Trump proclaimed May Jewish Heritage Month. In a statement issued Monday by the White House, Trump said that "Jewish Americans have helped guide the moral character of our Nation." ... He added: "Through their actions, they have made the world a better place." Trump also wrote that the "contributions of the Jewish people to American society are innumerable, strengthening our Nation and making it more prosperous," ... Trump also said that the American Jewish community "is a shining example of how enshrining freedom of religion and protecting the rights of minorities can strengthen a nation. Through their rich culture and heritage, the Jewish people have triumphed over adversity and enhanced our country."

European Diplomats Suspect Netanyahu Choreographed Iran Presentation with US

America's European allies are drawing a sharply different collective conclusion from the U.S. about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's dramatic presentation Monday of "evidence" he says demonstrates Iran lied about its nuclear program. And European diplomats suspect the Israeli leader's presentation, during which he urged President Donald Trump to scrap the nuclear accord signed in 2015 between Tehran and six foreign powers, was choreographed with the White House. Netanyahu did not directly accuse Iran of violating the accord, but his aim, say analysts, was to counter the intense lobbying of Trump by the Europeans, who say the deal shouldn't be discarded.

Israel Convicts Palestinian Over Poem

Dareen Tatour to appeal conviction for 'resist' poem that called for Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation.

Dareen Tatour, who has denied the charges, was convicted by a Nazareth court on Thursday for a 2015 social media post of a video with her reading one of her poems, titled "Resist, my people, resist."

In the video, which received less than 300 views, Tatour urged Palestinians to never "agree to a peace solution".

After the hearing, Tatour said she expected a conviction. "I am ready for anything, and I do not regret anything I have done."

Living in an Orwellian Dystopia

It is puzzling to witness the speed and ferocity with which Britain is deteriorating into an Orwellian nightmare.

The Evening Standard reported yesterday that “a London council worker has been suspended after being caught claiming Zionists ‘collaborated’ with the Nazis.”

Apparently Stan Keable was removed from his duties as an environmental enforcement officer for Hammersmith & Fulham Council after saying, “The Nazis were anti-Semitic. The problem I’ve got is the Zionist government at the time collaborated with them. They accepted the ideas that Jews are not acceptable here.”

Keable made the comments, shared in a clip on Twitter, at a pro-Corbyn demonstration outside the Parliament. I guess that in Britain 2018 you can lose your job simply for expressing an opinion.

Iran Envoy: If US Pulls Out, There Is No Nuclear Deal Left

With just over a week until President Trump’s May 12 ultimatum on Iran’s nuclear deal, there is growing speculation about what will happen. If President Trump does withdraw the US from the deal, however, Iran is being very clear what will happen.

“The consequence would be that Iran would in fact be ready to go back to the previous situation,” said Iranian Ambassador Hamid Baeidinejad, who said that without the US “there is no deal left.” European nations had previously suggested the deal might stay intact with or without the US.

The three European parties to the P5+1, Britain, France, and Germany, have been trying to come up with a sideline deal to placate President Trump and avoid the pullout. Whether this is going to be successful or not is still uncertain.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Iranian Ambassador Hamid Baeidinejad is entirely correct in his assessment; the question is, with a corruption indictment hovering over his head, will Netanyahu order massive strikes against either Iran, or Iranian bases in Syria well before the 12th, to attempt to misdirect the Israeli public, and the world, from what is going on with him personally (not to mention what Israeli is doing to Gaza)?!?

At this moment in time, understanding he has been caught lying again about Iran's military and nuclear capabilities, he may think he has nothing to lose here, and may to get into this war as quickly as possible, before the American people have the chance to think that their country is again being tricked into a war against a foreign nation by Israeli leadership, as happened with Iraq.

I would like to hope that President Trump is smarter than to fall for this, in a circumstance where Netanyahu is planning to have the costs for such wars to be borne primarily in American blood and American money; but right now, given some of the bone-headed choices his admnistration has made over the course of his presidency, I am really unsure.

And Trump's problem here, is that he has no one around him to advise him on what is really going on in Iran, other than Netanyahu, who is selectively spoon-feeding him every vicious, hubristic lie about the country he can turn his tongue to, in order to encourage an American attack against either Iranian forces in Syria, or against Iran proper itself.

So I would offer a polite caveat I feel compelled to share with both Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump here; there is a 6,000 LB gorilla, currently snoozing on the baby grand Bosendorfer in the living room on this issue.

It's name... is Russia.

And Russia been effectively combatting the jihadists in Syria,at Syria's behest, and its leadership, both military and civilian, have both consistently pledged its support to Iran, should Iran get attacked militarily.

War against Russia over Iran and/or Syria ... would be a form of suicide for the US military. And I say this, as someone who cares very greatly about the future of her country, because at this point it its existence, the US government does not have the weaponry; the troop strength; the manufacturing, or the money to insure a positive outcome against Russia.

Mr. President, the IAEA is comprised of highly bright, educated, and competent people; and when a bunch of people like those employed by the IAEA tell me that Iran is in full compliance with the P5+1 deal, my first tendency would be to believe them, rather than the lies of a foreign official who is trying to trick America's leadership to get onboard a war bandwagon against Iran.

Please, sir, don't fall for this. The potential repercussions for the US's future, could be both horrific.... and irrecoverable.

IRmep asks appeals court to block Trump transfer of $3.7 billion in US aid to nuclear Israel

On May 8, 2017 IRmep Director Grant F. Smith filed an emergency motion asking the US Court of Appeals for an injunction on the immanent transfer of US foreign military assistance to Israel.

On May 5 President Trump signed into law a temporary spending measure designed to keep the US government running until September. The law included $3.7 billion in foreign aid to Israel.

Appellants argue that Israel's nuclear weapons program requires either that the aid be withheld, or that long-neglected special procedures under the Arms Export Control Act be followed. The Trump administration has not issued required special waivers, as has been done for Pakistan and other nuclear weapons countries, that would make the aid legal under the Symington & Glenn Amendments.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The judge tossed the suit out, sending a clear message that American taxpayers do not have standing to challenge illegal US aid to Israel.

IAEA refuses to assess Netanyahu’s statement on Iran’s nuclear programMore:http://tass.com/world/1002610

The United Nations’ nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), refused to assess the statement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tehran’s alleged nuclear developments bypassing the agency’s control.

"In line with standard IAEA practice, the IAEA evaluates all safeguards-relevant information available to it. However, it is not the practice of the IAEA to publicly discuss issues related to any such information," the agency said in a statement on its website.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is the IAEA's very polite way, of saying that Netanyahu had "hoisted with his own petard" by making these accusations against Iran!!

Ex-US Ambassador Explains Reasons Behind Netanyahu's Iran Nuclear Allegations

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s new allegations about Iran’s nuclear activities are meant to distract attention from the police probe investigating him for corruption, former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chas Freeman told Sputnik.

Netanyahu in a televised address on Monday said Tel Aviv had proof Iran maintained a nuclear weapons program. The performance came less than 60 days after Netanyahu was interrogated by Israeli police as part of yet another corruption probe, the third of its kind opened in less than two years.

"It will be seen as an unscrupulous effort by Netanyahu to divert attention from his own legal and political difficulties," Freeman said when asked about Netanyahu’s performance.

Gazan Gandhis: Gaza bleeds alone as ‘Liberals’ and ‘Progressives’ go mute

Three more Palestinians were killed and 611 wounded last Friday, when tens of thousands of Gazans continued their largely non-violent protests at the Gaza-Israel border.

Yet as the casualty count keeps climbing – nearly 45 dead and over 5,500 wounded – the deafening silence also continues. Tellingly, many of those who long chastised Palestinians for using armed resistance against the Israeli occupation are nowhere to be found, while children, journalists, women and men are all targeted by hundreds of Israeli snipers who dot the Gaza border.

Israeli officials are adamant. The likes of Defense Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, perceives his war against the unarmed protesters as a war on terrorists. He believes that “there are no innocents in Gaza.” While the Israeli mindset is not in the least surprising, it is emboldened by the lack of meaningful action, or outright international silence to the atrocities taking place at the border.

Israeli Troops First Shot a Gaza Journalist’s Left Leg, Then His Right. And They Didn’t Stop There

Yousef Kronz was sitting on the ground well within Israel’s designated “safe zone,” wearing a Press vest, taking photos. When he stood up, he was shot in both legs by two different snipers. Another young man ran to help him, only to be shot in the leg as well. Adding insult to injury, Israel refused him passage to the West Bank for treatment that would have saved at least one of his legs.

Israel advocates might consider it “restraint” that these young men weren’t shot in the head, but the question hangs in the air: why was this life-changing horror inflicted on Yousef – and thousands of others – as they did nothing more scandalous than carry flags run around, pray, demonstrate, or take photos in the shadow of Israel’s violent oppression?

Netanyahu: Don’t look here where we’re shooting children, look over there at Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, a notorious warmonger, serial liar and supremacist racialist who used to lead the closest thing Israel has to a fascist party until parties even more extreme got elected to parliament, is attempting to bamboozle the clueless Trump into getting on a war footing with Iran.

Netanyahu’s breathless announcement that there was a potential weapons aspect to Iran’s nuclear enrichment program has been known for a decade and a half.

Netanyahu even seems to have provoked the White House to issue a communique falsely stating that Iran has a weapons program presently, which it promptly had to retract. The incident is so scary because it shows how easy it is to manipulate the erratic Trump and his not-ready-for-prime-time staff. That sort of thing, David Frum said on Twitter, can cause a war. And he should know.

Oil markets brace for Trump to kill Iran deal

The Iran nuclear deal may be doomed, at least if you believe the global oil market.

Oil prices have surged partly because of mounting expectations that President Trump will kill the 2015 agreement, which allowed Iran to export more crude. Trump must decide by May 12 whether to re-impose sanctions on the OPEC nation.

Brent crude, the global benchmark, briefly soared above $75 a barrel on Monday after Israel leveled new nuclear allegations against Iran.

Bringing back sanctions on Iran could knock out as much as 1 million barrels per day of crude supply, dealing a blow to increasingly fragile energy markets.

The analysis of the recent exchanges between French President Emmanuel Macron and President Donald Trump suggest that Washington is most likely about to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement with Iran that was signed by the U.S. and five other governments in July 2015. The decision will likely be made public before the deadline on re-ratifying the agreement, which is May 12th. US plan of last push against ISIS raises specter of Syria partition

Announcing the start of military operations against the remaining strongholds of Islamic State, the US State Department included some pointed language, hinting at de facto partition of Syria, analysts tell RT.
“The days of ISIS controlling territory and terrorizing the people of Syria are coming to an end,” State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said on Tuesday. The operations will be conducted by the US-led coalition and local partners, including the Kurdish-majority Syrian Democratic Forces.

The US will also work with Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon to “secure their borders” from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), Nauert said. This is intriguing, because the only remaining IS presence is near the Iraqi border, with a pocket south of Damascus currently being cleared out by Syrian government forces.

FLASHBACK - US investigates illegal military equipment shipments from Israel to Iran

Israeli arms dealers twice tried to send spare parts for fighter planes to Iran, The Telegraph has established, flouting an international arms embargo and openly contradicting the bitter enmity between the Jewish state and the Islamic regime.

The potentially explosive revelation came as six world powers resumed negotiations with Iran in Vienna aimed at reaching a long-term agreement over Tehran’s nuclear programme.

According to secret South African documents, Mr Peres, then Israel's defence minister, responded to a request in 1975 from the white minority government for Jericho Missiles by offering to fit them "in three different sizes", The Guardian reported.

The "three sizes" refer to conventional, chemical and nuclear weapons according to Sasha Polakow-Suransky, the American academic who uncovered a series of classified memos detailing South Africa's clandestine nuclear negotiations with Israel.

The claims appear to offer the first documentary corroboration of a nuclear relationship long suspected but never proved.

Putin Tries Adding Weight To Iran Conflict With U.S.

Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel have an ally in Russia. When it comes to Washington (and Tel Aviv's) penchant for calling foul on the Iranian nuclear deal, the two largest economies in the eurozone can count on Vladimir Putin to stand in their corner.

Putin reiterated Russia's position that the Iranian nuclear deal made by former president Barack Obama is "of paramount importance for ensuring international stability and security" and must be "strictly observed by all parties," the Kommersant business daily reported on Tuesday.

Putin reportedly discussed the Iranian nuclear power deal with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who just hours before had come out with his own intelligence agency's report alleging evidence that the Islamic Republic was indeed enriching uranium for military use and not just for energy use. The report said that Israel initiated the call.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF Israel goes to war against Iran, for allegedly "lying" about its nuclear weapons program, the entire world will most likely be sucked into this war, with Iran, Russia, and China on one side, and the US, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and NATO on the other.

There are times when the interests of Israel and the US government align; this is not one of those times, and President Trump is a consummate fool, if he decides to pull out of the P5+1 deal, as a prelude to this war.

I hope Russia's President Putin did mention to Israel's Prime Minister Netantahu, that should such a war happen, based upon Israel's lies about Iran's alleged nuclear weapons, there will be costs incurred by Israel, which may well be devastating to the country's potential for further existence.

Such a war, again, based on lies to control Iran's oil, and the currency in which it is sold, just as happened with Iraq, will break the Unhinged, Surveilled state of Amerika, morally, economically, and politically.

The US military, at this time in its history, doesn't have the money; the manufacturing; the weaponry; or the troop strength to insure a positive outcome against the forces which will be martialled against it.

Yes, the US government spends a lot of money for its weaponry; what it gets, is, generally, late, with horrific cost overruns, and many times obsolete upon delivery, or doesn't work as advertised.

I give you the Lockhee-Martin F-35 as an example here.

Should such a war happen, look for a return of the draft in the US, but this time, the process will be going after both our young men and our young women. There may well be massive riots against it, which the US government will put down with extreme prejudice. It is possible that the Constitution and Bill of Rights will be suspended, and martial law will be invoked.

Israel Doesn't Seek War With Iran - Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday defended his dramatic “revelation” regarding Iran’s “lies,” dubbed “old news” by former CIA Director Michael Hayden, while asserting that he does not seek a military confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, Netanyahu reiterated his claim that Iran was "brazenly lying" about its nuclear ambitions prior to the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement.

But when pressed on Israel's own nuclear capability, the prime minister repeatedly refused to directly answer the question and only said that he did not seek war with Iran.

“Homeland Security”: another Jewish racket

I’ve explained in a previous blog post that the entire “Global War on Terror” (read: Jewish War of Terror) is basically a Jewish racket. Israel and the global Jewish mafia, collaborating closely with criminal elements of the United States government and the Jewish owned mainstream corporate media, planned, executed, covered up, and benefitted (both financially and geopolitically) from the events of 9/11, pinning the blame on Osama bin Laden and “Islamic extremism” in order to simultaneously advance Israel’s geopolitical agenda in the Middle East and turn America and the West into a Zionist police state. 9/11 served as the justification for the entire “Global War on Terror” Jewish War of Terror, and as a result the United States military and other Zionist dominated international security organizations (NATO for example) have launched illegal and genocidal wars of aggression against Israel’s enemies in the Middle East.

The world's nuclear watchdog has effectively rejected Israel's claims Iran lied about its nuclear activities, by referencing a report showing there were, "no credible indications of activities in Iran relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device after 2009".

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said documents released by Israel about Tehran's nuclear weapons program do not reveal anything new.

It cited one of its own reports, from 2015, that identified some Iranian activities in 2003, "relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device".

"These activities did not advance beyond feasibility and scientific studies, and the acquisition of certain relevant technical competences and capabilities," the IAEA said in a statement.

NETANYAHU SLAMS IRAN FOR 'SECRET NUKE PROGRAM,' WON'T SAY WHETHER ISRAEL DEVELOPED NUKES IN SECRET

On CNN Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized Iran for allegedly working to develop nuclear bombs in secret, but refused to say whether Israel did the same (in violation of US non-proliferation law).

From The Daily Caller:

“A ‘yes-no’ question for you,” [CNN’s Chris Cuomo] said. “You know where I’m going with this. Does Israel have nuclear capabilities and nuclear weapons, yes or no?”

“We’ve always said that we won’t be the first to introduce it, so we haven’t introduced it,” Netanyahu replied.

“That’s not an answer to the question. Do you have them or do you not?” Cuomo asked.

“It’s as good an answer as you’re going to get,” Netanyahu said. “Iran said they don’t have this nuclear weapons program and Iran calls daily for the annihilation of my country. We don’t do that.”
Cuomo admitted Iran has a reputation for being dishonest but continued to press the prime minister about his country’s nuclear program.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Prime Minister Netanyahu, a word, please; on that last statement of yours, " “One thing is clear, Israel is not threatening the annihilation of any country.”, our BED (Bovine Excrement Detector) re-kitted, completely, and will have to be immediately replaced.

The next time this happens, sir, we will be left with no option, other than billing the Israeli government for its replacement, because the world knows ...you, and your government in Tel Aviv, are full of it!!

And I would like to add, sir, that every dollar, and every weapon, the US government gives to Israel is illegal, under the Syminton Amendment, and the Glenn Amendment

The Symington Amendment, and the Glenn Amendement

These amendments state quite clearly:

"The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 was amended by the Symington Amendment (Section 669 of the FAA) in 1976. It banned U.S. economic, and military assistance, and export credits to countries that deliver or receive, acquire or transfer nuclear enrichment technology when they do not comply with IAEA regulations and inspections. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 101 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

The Glenn Amendment (Section 670) was later adopted in 1977, and provided the same sanctions against countries that acquire or transfer nuclear reprocessing technology or explode or transfer a nuclear device. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 102 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA)."

Please note that legally, Israel has no exemption from these laws, except for the reality that the Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika is not a country ruled by law, but a country ruled by corrupt individuals.

Israeli police planned to teach children how to shoot at Palestinians as part of a training exercise in a school.

Jamal Zahalka, a member of the Israeli parliament from the Joint Arab List, is demanding an investigation into the training sponsored by the Israeli police and the education ministry, which he said “prepares students psychologically to kill Arabs.”

One photo shows a person – most of their body blurred with a black marker – using a paintball gun to fire at cutouts of men and women wearing checkered kuffiyeh headscarves that are associated with Palestinians.

Abbas claimed that European Jews had been massacred over the centuries because of their "social behavior related to interests and banks," a common antisemitic trope, and repeated the widely disavowed theory that Ashkenazi Jews are descended from the medieval Khazar converts to Judaism, and not ancient Hebrews, among other statements.

Israel cancels US-based test of its Arrow-3 missile defense system until ‘maximum readiness’ ensured

A planned test of the Israeli Arrow-3 long-range ballistic missile interceptor has been postponed indefinitely, to ensure that the system is indeed fully ready for the test, the Israeli Defense Ministry has announced.

“Following consultation between the American Missile Defense Agency and the Israeli Defense Ministry, it was decided to postpone the test of the Arrow-3 system in Alaska — this is in order to reach maximum preparedness ahead of the test in the American [airfield],” the ministry said in a statement. The ministry then said that it was working with its US partners to set another date for the test but did not reveal any details about a future schedule.

US JUDGE ORDERS IRAN TO PAY BILLIONS TO FAMILIES OF 9/11 VICTIMS

Tehran has been ordered by a US court to pay more than $6 billion to victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, despite the fact that most of the plane hijackers were Saudi nationals, and no direct link was ever found to Iran.
On Tuesday, a federal judge in New York found Iran, the country’s central bank, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps liable for the deaths of more than 1,000 people in the September 11 attacks. As a consequence, District Judge George Daniels ordered Iran and its entities to pay over $6 billion in compensation to the victims’ families.

The default judgment seeks compensation of $12.5 million per spouse, $8.5 million per parent, $8.5 million per child, and $4.25 million per sibling. The US could potentially retrieve the sum from billions of dollars in Iranian assets that were frozen in the US and Europe over the years. This is unlikely, however, as the ruling is seen as symbolic and unenforceable.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More sound and fury, signifying absolutely nothing, other than heaping more scorn and demonisation against Iran ahead of 12 May, when President Trump makes the go/no go decision about decertifying Iran's compliance with the P5+1 accord.

And please remember; as of this moment, the IAEA team which has been certifying Iran's full compliance with the deal, says that they are still in complete compliance with it.

The last thing these people are...are idiots.

IF the US withdraws from the agreement, to placate Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu, it will be a breathtakingly lousy moment in the history of the world, because Israel will probably haul off, and attack Iran directly, or attack its assets in Syria.

In fact, with Israeli police stating that they have enough info with which to indict Netanyahu on corruption charges, Israeli PM faces toughest political challenge, but is unlikely to go quietly,,he may in fact feel that a war with Iran, in Syria, or against Iran proper, may be his only options for deflecting a trial on corruption charges.

And if he thinks and feels that such a trial is imminent, he may well haul off far before the 12 May date, at which President Trump is to make the decision as to whether the US believes Iran in compliance with the P5+1 deal.

Of course, given that the world knows he may be going on trial for corruption, the optics will be horrible; but in order to save his own political skin from ruin, he may decide that a war, where hundreds of thousands of people may well die, is far preferable than having to defend himself in court.

This is simply the way the man thinks.

I would like to hope that he understands that the 6,000 lb gorilla, snoozing on the Bosendorfer grand in this situation... is Russia.

Russia has historically stated, and this comes from both civilian and military leadership, that should Iran be attacked, Russia will come to its aid militarily.

However, unfortunately, looking at Netanyahu's characteristic hubristic behaviour, I doubt that this will factor into his decision to attack either Iran, or Iran's assets in Syria, if he feels the coming trial is "too close for comfort."

WHITE HOUSE ADOPTS NETANYAHU’S ‘FALSE PRETENCES’ NARRATIVE ON IRAN DEAL

Hosting his French and German counterparts at the White House last week for critical talks on the fate of the Iran nuclear deal, Donald Trump tried to be respectful, and coy: As the American president so often says, he prefers to be unpredictable on the international stage.

But the actions of his national security team in recent days point in one direction: He is preparing to withdraw from the 2015 deal, based on an argument that it was brokered in bad faith by the Iranians in the first place, and now rests on illegitimate foundations.

Israel 'only state in Middle East that actually has nukes’: Analysts denounce Bibi’s Iran WMD claim

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is the wrong person to accuse Iran of seeking nuclear weapons as his country has repeatedly refused to join any non-proliferation treaties which equates it to North Korea, Middle East experts told RT.

Israel and its PM “are in no position to accuse Iran of anything, they’re not part of the nuclear deal, they’re not even a member [of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty],” said Hamed Mousavi, Professor of Political Science at the University of Tehran.

The analyst then commented on Netanyahu’s well-rehearsed Monday show, in which he claimed Israel has incriminating evidence that Iran is pursuing a nuclear program in violation of the milestone 2015 deal. He noted the only entity in the world authorized to declare Iranian compliance or non-compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal is the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

UK should stick to nuclear deal despite Israeli claims of Iran ‘lying’ - Boris Johnson

UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson says Britain will remain in the “vitally important” Iran deal, despite Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu claiming Tehran has been covertly developing a nuclear weapons program.

Johnson said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement, signed between world powers in 2015, is necessary more than ever to keep an eye on Iran’s nuclear program. It comes after Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israel obtained 55,000 files showing Iran was “brazenly lying” when it claimed it was not pursuing nuclear weapons activity.

The European Union's foreign service condemned remarks on the Holocaust by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as "unacceptable," echoing criticism on Wednesday by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Such rhetoric will only play into the hands of those who do not want a two-state solution, which President Abbas has repeatedly advocated."

Hassan Nasrallah: Israel has come into direct confrontation with Iran

Today, the whole region goes through a worrying situation. Worry is one thing, and fear is another. We say a worrying situation. Why? Because many leaders, governments, analysts, personalities and people in general, even people at home, everyday people who perhaps do not care much about politics, today follow the situation (with alarm), wondering where things are going, what will happen, because of certain events that occurred in Syria.

Last week, two important events took place, after which the situation remains tense.

The first event is the Israeli blatant and manifest aggression against the T-4 base or airport on the outskirts of Homs, that targeted Iranian forces from the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution of Iran who were present there, hitting them with a large number of missiles, causing 7 martyrs among its officers and soldiers and wounding others. This was a new, significant and important event. Maybe some people do not pay attention to its importance and magnitude.

US Backs Israeli Claims On ‘new, Compelling’ Evidence Against Iran

The White House is praising new intelligence from Israel on Iran’s nuclear weapons program, calling it “new and compelling” though officials in Washington have stopped short of charging Tehran with outright violations of its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.

US officials reviewing the cache of documents, charts, blueprints, photos and videos recovered by Israeli intelligence said late Monday that the materials they had seen were authentic and consistent with information amassed by the US over many years.

Only IAEA can assess any claim on Iranian nuclear program: Mogherini

The EU foreign policy chief says what the Israeli premier tried to present as documents on Iran’s “secret” nuclear work fails to question Tehran’s compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal, and that any such claims should solely be assessed by the UN nuclear watchdog.

“What I have seen from the first reports is that Prime Minister Netanyahu has not put into question Iran’s compliance with the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) commitments, meaning post-2015 nuclear commitments,” Federica Mogherini said Monday.

...

Mogherini further said the JCPOA “is not based on assumptions of good faith or trust - it is based on concrete commitments, verification mechanisms and a very strict monitoring of facts, done by the IAEA. The IAEA has published 10 reports, certifying that Iran has fully complied with its commitments.”

Yesterday former CIA director and now Secretary of State Pompeo visited Israel. A few hours later Israel bombed two ammunition depots in Syria which are supposedly related to Iran. This was a clear attempt to provoke Iran into some reaction.

UN nuclear agency: ‘No credible indications’ of Iran nuclear activity after 2009

The United Nations's nuclear agency on Tuesday rejected claims from Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu that Iran's government is conducting nuclear weapons research in secret.

In an assessment released Tuesday, the International Atomic Energy Agency wrote that there is "no credible indications" to support claims that Iran was continuing its "coordinated" nuclear weapons program after 2009, The Associated Press reports.

Netanyahu made the claims Monday in a speech in Tel Aviv as part of his effort to urge President Trump to scrap the Iran nuclear deal, signed in 2015 under the Obama administration, which was meant to ensure Iran does not complete development of a nuclear weapon.

Critics say the deal is too weak and has led to Iran pursuing the weapons in secrecy.

On Monday, Netanyahu called the deal "terrible" and urged Trump to do the "right thing" and exit the agreement with Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu; you may be able to lie the President of the United States into contributing to a war against Iran, but this time, you cannot lie the American people into wanting such a war.

The US government and military going to war against Iran on a fabrication, just as it did against Iraq, which it declared to have "weapons of mass destruction", which it did not, was simply about controlling Iraq's oil, and in what internationally currency it would be sold; ultimately, the same will be true of Iran.

But to Netanyahu and Trump, I offer the following caveat from Sun Suu, from "The Art of War", paraphrased: soldiers must believe that they have the moral high ground on their side. The Iranians do, should such a war happen, because they are defending their country; the US, and Israel, will not.

And then, there is the 6,000 lb gorilla, snoozing on top of the Bosendorfer Grand; that 6,000 lb gorilla, right now, is Russia, whose military and political leadership have collectively vowed to protect Iran, should it be attacked militarily.

Were I Netanyahu and/or President Trump, I would be thinking about this very, very carefully right now, before either leader does something potentially catastrophic against Iran.

Israel ready to bomb Iran if necessary: Report

Israeli defense officials have told their American and Russian counterparts that if Iranian-backed forces attack Israel from inside Syria, Jerusalem will not hold back from retaliating with direct strikes against Tehran or other targets in Iran.

The officials delivered the message ahead of a national security statement expected Monday from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in response to Iranian threats to hit Israel after recent strikes on Tehran-backed assets in Syria, according to a report by Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: look for a massive Israeli "false flag", to appear to have be created by the Iranian military against Israeli from Syria, and this war is off and running.

I would like to hope that Russian President Putin, in a conference call with Netanyahu, has completely disabused Netanyahu about pulling a stunt like this; however, one can never account for the ways in which Israeli hubris can lead to a catastrophe, as it well might under these circumstances.

And please note: such Israeli raids against Syria are against a soverign nation, which has invited Russian and Iranians there to help clamp down on Western-funded jihadists, are illegal under international law.

Trump could let Pollard go to Israel in honor of embassy launch – report

US Donald Trump seems increasingly likely to attend the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem next month, and is thinking of allowing convicted spy Jonathan Pollard to come to Israel at the same time, a TV news report said.

The president, who has publicly said he is interested in attending, is being pressured to go to Israel for the ceremony by supporters and donors, Hadashot TV news reported Sunday.

Trump is also considering allowing Pollard, a former American intelligence specialist, to leave the US to come to Israel, the report said. This claim directly contradicts IDF’s official statement of 31st March, in which the army claimed that “nothing was carried out uncontrolled, everything was accurate and measured, and we know where every bullet landed.” The IDF later deleted the statement, presumably because of the legal culpability it carries, but a screen capture was taken in time.

WHY IS ISRAEL DESPERATE TO ESCALATE SYRIAN CONFLICT?

After seven years of utter devastation and bloodletting, a consensus has emerged among all the belligerents of the Syrian war to de-escalate the conflict, except Israel which wants to further escalate the conflict because it has been the only beneficiary of the carnage in Syria.

Over the years, Israel has not only provided medical aid and material support to the militant groups battling the Syrian government – particularly to various factions of the Free Syria Army (FSA) and al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate al-Nusra Front in Daraa and Quneitra bordering the Israel-occupied Golan Heights – but Israel’s air force has virtually played the role of the air force of the Syrian jihadists and has conducted more than 100 airstrikes in Syria and Lebanon during the seven-year conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the view of Tel Aviv, Syria must be neutralized before there can be a meaningful attack against Iran, primarily with American troops, and the costs borne in American blood and American money, which the US government does not have.

But the one question President Trump needs to ask himself, if he goes full-tilt buggie on Syria and Iran, by way of an invasion, and a greater war, is just what Russia's President Putin will do to respond to such acts.

And President Trump had better think long and hard about this, because today, the US military doesn't have the money; the weaponry; the manufacturing; or the troop strength to insure a positive outcome to a war against either Syria or Iran, or possibly both.

Their weapons had been “wire cutters, hooks and winches.”

In addition to the three deaths, IDF soldiers also reportedly injured nearly 1,000 protesters, of a total estimated by the IDF as between 12,000 to 14,000. The IDF asserted: “‘This is not a peaceful demonstration… They’re trying to infiltrate into Israel, damage our infrastructure and kill Israelis.'”

Palestinians reel from spike in racist 'price tag' attacks by settlers

The attack came before dawn prayers. Israeli settlers slipped unseen into the northern occupied West Bank village of Aqraba, broke down the door to the village's mosque, and set the building on fire.

Before fleeing, they used red paint to spray the words "price tag" and "revenge" on the outside walls of the mosque.

A week after the 13 April attack, Palestinians in the Ramallah-area village of Burqa woke up to find the tyres of dozens of cars slashed and racist anti-Arab graffiti sprayed on the walls of homes and shops and on car doors.

Three days on, the words "death to Arabs" were sprayed across the Jerusalem-area West Bank village of Beit Iksa.

These are just three of the most recent crimes by fundamentalist illegal settlers, who began the attacks in 2008 as the "price tag" for the removal of illegal outposts in the West Bank.

JARED KUSHNER FAILED TO DISCLOSE HE LED A FOUNDATION FUNDING ILLEGAL ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS BEFORE U.N. VOTE

Jared Kushner failed to disclose his role as a co-director of the Charles and Seryl Kushner Foundation from 2006 to 2015, a time when the group funded an Israeli settlement considered to be illegal under international law, on financial records he filed with the Office of Government Ethics earlier this year.

The latest development follows reports on Friday indicating the White House senior adviser attempted to sway a United Nations Security Council vote against an anti-settlement resolution passed just before Donald Trump took office, which condemned the structure of West Bank settlements. The failure to disclose his role in the foundation—at a time when he was being tasked with serving as the president’s Middle East peace envoy—follows a pattern of egregious omissions that would bar any other official from continuing to serve in the West Wing, experts and officials told Newsweek.

IN ‘BIZARRE’ TELEVISED EVENT, NETANYAHU PUSHES US TOWARD WAR WITH IRAN

In a “bizarre” performance that conjured memories of former national security adviser Colin Powell’s infamous weapons of mass destruction speech in 2002, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday theatrically deployed props and powerpoint slides in an attempt to distort facts and convince his “audience of one“—U.S. President Donald Trump—that Iran is failing to comply with the nuclear accord.

“Iran lied, big time, after signing the nuclear deal in 2015,” Netanyahu claimed from a stage in Tel Aviv, Israel, dramatically unveiling shelves of disks and binders that he insisted contain conclusive proof that Iran is still pursuing nukes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As long as I have breath in me, I will peacefully continue to protest such a war, which is not at ALL in the interests of the American people, but Netanyahu's painfully obvious attempt, on completely fabricated evidence, to have America's military "neutralize" Iran for him, with all the costs being borne with American blood, and financed with US dollars.

Were I a betting woman, I would bet that President Trump will go along with this, as he has no intelligent alternate views on Iran, voiced to him by his cabinet, other than what Netanyahu spoon feeds him, which is fabrication after fabrication after fabrication.

The IAEA knows precisely where the site is which Netanyahu described in his tirade, and also knows that there is no secret nuclear program going on there; it is simply a lie, to attempt to get the American people to follow President Trump's lead on a war against Iran.

But after the Colin Powell speech about Iraq's "yellow cake uranium", and Saddam's WMDs, the American people are, hopefully, a lot more sceptical concerning what Netanyahu is willing to lie about to get a war started.

Legally speaking, however, the Israeli argument, along with any attempt on the part of the Trump administration to rely upon the Israeli information used by Netanyahu in his presentation, does not hold water. The IAEA, in implementing the “Roadmap for Clarification of Past and Present Outstanding Issues”, had already thoroughly investigated the Amad Project and its alleged leader, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, based upon information made available from member states (presumably including Israel). The conclusions reached by the IAEA—that the Amad Project was terminated in 2003, and that Fakhrizadeh went on the head up a new organization that made use of the same personnel as the Amad Project—were the same as made by Netanyahu. America's Jews Are Driving America's Wars

UPDATE: On the morning of September 21st Phil Giraldi was fired over the phone by The American Conservative, where he had been a regular contributor for fourteen years. He was told that “America’s Jews Are Driving America’s Wars” was unacceptable. The TAC management and board appear to have forgotten that the magazine was launched with an article by founder Pat Buchanan entitled “Whose War?” which largely made the same claims that Giraldi made about the Jewish push for another war, in that case with Iraq. Buchanan was vilified and denounced as an anti-Semite by many of the same people who are now similarly attacking Giraldi.

‘Infamous liar’: Iran blasts Netanyahu for claims Tehran had nuclear weapons program

In a statement Tuesday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry blasted Monday’s claims by a “broke and infamous liar who has had nothing to offer except lies and deceits.” It accused Israel of “using battered charlatanism” and viewing others as a threat to justify the existence of their “illegal regime.”

“Netanyahu and the notorious, child-killing Zionist regime must have reached the basic understanding that the people of the world have enough awareness and cognizance,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahram Qassemi,

In a series of tweets, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also ridiculed Netanyahu’s accusations, noting the “coordinated timing of alleged intelligence revelations by the boy who cries wolf just days before May 12.” On that day President Donald Trump is expected to decide whether the US should stay in the landmark 2015 nuclear deal inked by five world powers as well as Iran.

WW3 ALERT: Iran Threatens ‘Strikes Will Be Met With Force’ After US-led Syria Attacks - Mac Slavo

Iran has issued a chilling new warning to the United States an allied forces which allegedly coordinated an attack on Syria on Sunday. Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei has warned that attacks on Iranian military bases by the US or its allies will not be tolerated and will be met with “firm force.”

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, supreme leader of Iran, has launched a blistering verbal attack against the US in the wake of missile strikes on Syrian bases in Hama and Aleppo on Sunday night, according to The Daily Star. In a bellicose speech on Monday, Khamenei accused the US of causing a “regional crisis” in the Middle East by creating “instability” that has “brought misery to people.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

We the People are no longer in control of this government; the American deep state, and the military industrial complex are in complete control, no matter who sits at that desk in the Oval Office.

As a Christian Pacifist Activist, who fervently believes that the US should be resolving its geopolitical issues with moral, hard-won negotiations, rather than bombs and bullets, all I can do is witness, as I do at this blog, and pray that there will be some mechanism to stop what I see coming, which is a global war, with Iran, China, Russia on one side, and the US, NATO, Israel, and Saudi Arabia on the other.

Iran: The True Focal Point for the IMF-NATO Hegemony, by Jeremiah Johnson

The “Iranian problem” is one that was created by the United States and Britain decades ago. Mossadegh was removed from office when the Shah was inserted…that selfsame Shah who supported Anglo-American oil interests in his country until Ayatollah Khomeini sparked the Iranian Islamic Revolution in ’79. That revolution began the takeover of the U.S. embassy in Teheran and the hostage situation that effectively ended the Carter presidency (rather his actions to resolve it, such as Operation Desert One). President Reagan came in, the hostages were released, Iran and Iraq fought a bloody war, and relations with the U.S. were discontinued.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, but consistently predictable from this government, no matter who is allegedly guiding it as President.

Does President Trump think, for a millisecond, that Russia's President Putin will just hold hands with the Duma, and sing "Kumbyah" at a concerted set of US/Israeli airstrikes against Syria?!? I would respectfully suggest that this only will happen after pigs discover they are aerodynamic.

A war with Russia over Syria is as insane as it can possibly get, unless you factor in the war Netanyahu wants the US to fight against Iran, which would be another idiotic thing for this Administration to decide to do.

Unfortunately, just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing for the US government to do, is utterly no guarantee that it won't do it.

If President Trump goes for both of these wars (after an "alleged" terrorist false flag inside this country, or against American interests overseas most probably, or a cyber 9/11), look for the return of a military draft, supported by both parties, and the devolution to an even worse climate for civil liberties, and the questionings of why these wars are necessary to wage for the protection of American people.

They are not; they are simply wars of aggression against two countries Israel wants the US to beat up militarily, which have absolutely done nothing to us, no have any mind to do so. and I must politely remind you; Tel Aviv wants the costs for these wars to be borne only in American blood and with American money.

Netanyahu's half hour of spewing fakeries on Faux TV, was just that; a fabulous story, well spun, with utterly no hard evidence.

Number one, how would have Israeli intelligence spirited those documents out of the country, which Netanyahu was using to justify his assertions that Iranian leadership has a secret nuclear missile program; and number two, if such a program exists, how could the IAEA, which has been monitoring Iran for compliance on the P5+1 accord, not know that such a facility existed?!?
I can guarantee you; the CVs of the members of the Iranian monitoriing team, would leave you breathless, at their collective levels of technical expertise.

The timing of Netanyahu's heavy-handed insanity, coming right before 12 May, when President Trump is to either recertify Iran as compliant with the accord, of decertify the US's agreement to the accord, is both scarily telling, and troubling; I doubt that the US government is going to recertify Iranian compliance here, which will lead to more US sanctions, which will lead to Iran walking away from the deal entirely.

That is the design intent for such US sanctions, period, end of discussion.
How soon a shooting war breaks out, I cannot tell you; the dangers which will be created by such a war, just feel...imminent, at this moment.
