The study,Progressive encephalopathy in children with chronic renal insufficiency in infancy, outlined that, after reading the hospital records and medical reports of children suffering renal failure under the age of…

FORMER COLOMBIA PRESIDENT ALVARO URIBE’S BROTHER ARRESTED FOR LINKS TO DEATH SQUADS

The brother of former Colombian President Alvro Uribe was arrested Monday accused of having ties with paramilitaries — also known as death squads — in the country as well as other crimes. Santiago Uribe Velez was arrested in the coastal city of Medellin by officials from the attorney general’s office, who have long been monitoring the former president’s brother. Velez is accused of forming and developing the paramilitary group known as “Los Doce Apostoles” (The Twelve Apostles) in the 1990s.

Former DEA Agent Exposes US Government’s Role in Cocaine Epidemic

Waking Times

There is an epidemic of cocaine, heroin, and other drug use in America, and many other drugs are being shipped into the US in greater numbers than ever before. Are the United States government and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to blame for flooding American communities with cocaine in the 1970’s by covertly supporting the Latin American drug trade?

Leaked Report: Petrochemical Pollution Causes Microcephaly … Not Zika

By Jon Rappoport

Microcephaly = babies born with small heads and brain impairment.

As I’ve demonstrated in numerous articles, the purported cause of microcephaly, the Zika virus, is completely discredited. There is no science to back it up. In fact, the findings of Brazilian researchers constitute evidence that Zika has nothing to do with microcephaly.

Now we have this: Jerusalem Post (2/2/16), “All eyes on Haifa after damning study results leaked”:...

In Collapsing Venezuela, “Paramilitaries Roaming Neighborhoods, Shooting” At Dissenters

Venezuela is in complete chaos as a result of their economic collapse. State-rationed food and groceries have run out, prices are hyper-inflated and millions of people are waiting in huge lines for any goods that are available. And now, it is becoming police state crackdown:

What we saw were not “street clashes”, what we saw is a state-hatched offensive to suppress and terrorize its opponents.

[…]

Throughout last night, panicked people told their stories of state-sponsored paramilitaries on motorcycles roaming middle class neighborhoods, shooting at people and storming into apartment buildings, shooting at anyone who seemed like he might be protesting.

Russians Ride Fast – Israel Shamir

If the rebels grasp the chance and enter serious negotiations for a coalition government, peace is possible.

The Russians accepted the US proposal to cease fire in Syria (or rather to end hostilities). They had made a similar proposal a few weeks ago, so this is in line with their thinking. Russians have made huge successes in Syria; they achieved an astonishing and unexpected victory with very few losses.

It was a reputational victory it was as well as a military one. Russia entered the Syrian war at a low point internationally.

PCR: The Evil Empire Has The World In A Death Grip

Paul Craig Roberts blogs on the recent release of an updated version of the book "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by the former "hit man" John Perkins.

PCR:
Perkins shows that despite his revelations, the situation is worse than ever and has spread into the West itself. The populations of Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and the United States itself are now being looted by Hit Man activity.

Perkins’ book shows that the US is “exceptional” only in the unbridled violence it applies to others who get in its way. One of the new chapters tells the story of France-Albert Rene, president of Seychelles, who threatened to reveal the illegal and inhumane eviction of the residents of Diego Garcia by Britain and Washington so that the island could be converted into an air base from which Washington could bomb noncompliant countries in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Washington sent in a team of jackels to murder the president of Seychelles, but the assassins were foiled. All but one were captured, tried and sentenced to execution or prison, but a multi-million dollar bribe to Rene freed them. Rene got the message and became compliant.

How Secretary of State Clinton Enabled the Coup in Honduras

On June 28, 2009, when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, democratically elected Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was overthrown by a military coup. The United Nations, the European Union, and the Organization of American States condemned the coup, and on July 5, Honduras was suspended from the OAS.

Under longstanding and clear-cut U.S. law, all U.S. aid to Honduras except democracy assistance, including all military aid, should have been immediately suspended following the coup.

On August 7, fifteen House Democrats, led by Rep. Raúl Grijalva, sent a letter to the Administration which began, "As you know, on June 28th, 2009 a military coup took place in Honduras," and said: "The State Department should fully acknowledge that a military coup has taken place and follow through with the total suspension of non-humanitarian aid, as required by law."

The Empire Doesn’t Retreat or Compromise

Reading mainstream media news, analyses, and opinion pieces about this war is completely useless, as everything is either uninformed and clueless gibberish or propaganda and deception.

I wrote this text over several days and every time I sat down again to continue there came another headline to my mind. The first headline was “Nobody said, that it will be easy,” the second “Waiting for the Turkey-Russia showdown,” the third “Playing the terrorism game,” the fourth “Everything is better than war.”

In the end I settled for the header “The empire doesn’t retreat or compromise.”

This statement stands the test of time, it has been proven throughout human history, and there is only one single exemption, only one short period where retreat and compromise are a possibility. This short period is the time when the empire is in terminal decline and in the process of collapsing.

Bush, 9/11, and Iraq: Trump Gets It Right

by Sheldon Richman, February 18, 2016

Donald Trump, for all his obnoxious demagoguery, is adding value to the presidential campaign by calling former President George W. Bush to account for 9/11 and the Iraq war, which set in motion the growth and spread of al-Qaeda and the rise of the Islamic State. Former U.S. rulers rarely face consequences for the horrible things they do in office. Condemnation is considered impolite.

So good for Trump. Unfortunately, he shows no sign of having done his homework; so his charges against Bush are little more than soundbites, allowing Bush defenders to dismiss Trump as a kook. But this time he is not a kook.

WHO Plans Zika Vaccine as Brazilian Doctors Blame Monsanto’s Pesticides

Waking Times

Its getting redundant, but you just can’t make this stuff up. Just as a report from Latin American doctors questions the true cause of microcephaly, largely blamed on the Zika virus, pointing to SumiLarv, manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese subsidiary of Monsanto as a more probable cause of birth defects, the World Health Organization (WHO) reveals plans for a ‘Zika Vaccine.”

A Syrian Breakthrough – Israel Shamir

Now the deed is done, the corridor is blocked.

If and when Aleppo and the whole Aleppo district will be taken by the Syrian army, we would be able to congratulate Putin and Assad – and Syrian people – with a great victory.

The Russians raise alarms that a Turkish invasion into Syria is imminent. Russian media is foaming at the mouth about the perfidious Turks; a veritable Two Minutes Hate ritual (vide Orwell) on the state-managed TV channels being repeated a few times a day. The idea is to scare Turks stiff so they will not move while the operation in the North lasts. On the other side, the Russian opposition draws frightful scenarios of Janissaries slaughtering the Russian boys on the Syrian terrain. The Turkish media also tries to instil fear in the Russkies by saying what they can do.

Presidential Debates and Iran

The presidential candidates’ irresponsible remarks about Iran - as though it is a politically convenient football to be kicked around...

After watching both the Republican and Democratic debates on TV, I intend to exclude two main categories from my principle concerns in the upcoming presidential elections that will determine who will replace President Obama next year: one is the entire roster of the Republican Party, and the other, anything other than the foreign policy issues; the main area of my personal interest.

I am disregarding the entire Republican roster because I don’t think any Republican has a chance to beat Ms. Clinton in the general elections, at least this time around.

Zika: Who Launched the Fake-Epidemic Story in Brazil?

By Jon Rappoport

Explosive: The invention of an epidemic.

This is an article that explains a great deal—but, with apologies, it involves a line of reasoning, in order to reach a conclusion. That means some readers (not my regular readers) may find it odd. Some readers with short attention spans may suddenly want to switch to a wrestling show or a shopping network. To them I say: give this a try; it does have a payoff; it has its own kind of shock and surprise; explosions do go off in the mind; it is like a ten-car pile-up on the interstate in the fog, late at night; and there is a very nasty plot.

Out of nowhere, a month ago, we were told there was an outbreak of microcephaly in Brazil: over 4,000 cases of babies born with small heads and brain impairment...

Here Comes WHO: Zika Hype Goes Global

snip: Here’s what we are not told: the Zika virus was first isolated in 1947 and is associated with fever, rash and joint pain which usually lasts 2-7 days and does not result in death. It has never been associated with microcephaly. There has been a minor increase in microcephaly cases reported in Brazil but also a massive over-reporting of potential cases. And there has been no demonstration of a link between Zika and microcephaly.

Zika – A Recipe for Disaster

By Rosanne Lindsay

The Zika virus is was first observed in monkeys in 1947, 69 years ago, when researchers from the Rockefeller Foundation were conducting a research for Yellow Fever in the Zika Forest of Uganda. Zika is back again, but not to produce people with small brains. They already exist in the highest levels of government. Zika is here to create conflict, uncertainty, and conditioned belief patterning. Zika is an ingredient in the recipe for the next disaster.

Government chefs have successfully stirred the pot of disasters for centuries by controlling the mind (i.e., govern = control, ment = mind).“If you can control the opposites, you dominate the nature of the outcome.” Control at all costs is the purpose of government. When people begin to rise up, think for themselves, and question government, the heat gets turned up. And what better way for government to turn up the heat than through an unseeable virus?...

Zika Hoax: five things that will happen next

“Now we have a January 27 Associated Press story out of Rio, published in SFGate: ‘270 of 4,180 suspected microcephaly cases confirmed.’ That’s called a clue, in case you’re wondering. Of the previously touted 4,180 cases of microcephaly in Brazil, the actual number of confirmed cases so far is, well, only 270. Bang. But wait, there’s more. AP: ‘Brazilian officials said the babies with the defect [microcephaly] and their mothers are being tested to see if they had been infected. Six of the 270 confirmed microcephaly cases were found to have the [Zika] virus.’ Bang, bang, bang. Out of all the microcephaly cases re-examined in Brazil, only six have the Zika virus. That constitutes zero proof that Zika has anything to do with microcephaly.”

But of course, The Machine is rolling and it will move forward. Also, a number of independent investigators are behind the curve. They are still assuming there is proof of a Zika-microcephaly “epidemic.” If there is proof, it is nowhere to be found yet.

Here are five things that will happen next.

Zika: Genetically Engineered Mosquitoes Causing Smaller Heads?

By Jon Rappoport

“Okay, boys, here’s what we do. We’ve got this old virus called Zika. It’s been around for 60 years that we know of. It never caused anything serious. A real dud. But we’ve got to explain all these babies born with small heads and brain damage. We’ve got to protect some important people and shield them from heavy blame. So let’s bring back Zika. Even though very few mothers who give birth to babies with defects have the dud-virus, we can finesse that. People are idiots. So let’s build up Zika into a terrifying killer. Get our PR folks moving. Spread some money around. You know, the usual. And we make out on the back-end with a Zika vaccine.”

This is the third article in my series on the Zika Freakout. In my previous piece, I listed six top candidates for causing smaller heads and brain damage in Brazilian babies.

Jan 29 10:38

AND NOW: “GENETICALLY MODIFIED MOSQUITOES JOIN THE FIGHT TO STOP ZIKA VIRUS”

The primary concern, de Mier said, was the uncertainty and lack of scientific data regarding potential the GM mosquitoes will pose long-term harm to Key West’s ecosystem and its inhabitants.

She and others who oppose the research also point out the potential risk of females being released along with the males, the possibility that the gene will mutate, and any unforeseen potential negative effects it might have on the area’s insects and wildlife.

Researchers, however, dismiss these concerns.

De Mier and her cohort in Key West aren’t the only skeptics. Earlier this year, Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology looked at information from Oxitec’s trials in Malaysia and Grand Cayman, and accused the company of having a lack of transparency. Its findings suggest “deficits in the scientific quality of regulatory documents and a general absence of accurate experimental descriptions available before releases start.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The bottom line here is that these genetically engineered mosquitoes may well be responsible for the Zika outbreak in the first place.

Tampering with the very fabric of life can create an ELE (extinction level even) for humankind, and it is time that scientists and researchers face that reality with more than a little humility.

Zika freakout: the hoax and the covert op continue

Two: The TdaP vaccine:

This is a case of suspicious correlation. A study posted in the US National Library of Medicine, “Pertussis in young infants: a severe vaccine-preventable disease,” spells it out:

“…in late 2014, the [Brazilian] Ministry of Health announced the introduction of the Tdap vaccine for all pregnant women in Brazil.”

Obviously, pregnant women are the target group; they are giving birth to babies with smaller heads and brain damage, and the recommendation for them to take the vaccine was recent; 2014.

Barbara Loe Fisher, of the National Vaccine Information Center, writes:

“Drug companies did not test the safety and effectiveness of giving influenza or Tdap vaccine to pregnant women before the vaccines were licensed in the U.S and there is almost no data on inflammatory or other biological responses to these vaccines that could affect pregnancy and birth outcomes…

Jan 28 08:46

Is the dreaded Zika virus another giant scam?

So we now have governments warning women not to get pregnant. A new form of depopulation. Don’t get pregnant. If you do, and a mosquito bites you, you could give birth to a severely damaged child. Not only that, we have massive advisories against travel, for pregnant women. And 200,000 soldiers in Brazil, the site of the upcoming Olympics, are going door to door and distributing information about this new “plague.” Are the soldiers also telling men and women not to have sex? Who knows?

So let’s take a little side trip to Scam City and examine the science behind the Zika virus and the assertion that it is causing birth defects.

REBUILDING AND EXPANDING THE NORTH AMERICAN RELATIONSHIP

A major priority for Canada’s new prime minister is to reset the relationships with both the U.S. and Mexico. There is a real opportunity for all three countries to recommit to building a North American community. This includes expanding political, security and economic cooperation, as well as greater coordination on issues such as energy and the environment. Further deepening Canada-Mexico ties is one of the keys to strengthening continental relations. MEET THE “EMERGING MARKET” SUPERSTARS OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC GOVERNANCE

Central banks also serve financial markets through the implementation of bailout programs designed to save banks and financial institutions when markets fail, as well as through the management of monetary policy with its primary objectives of achieving ‘price stability’ (low and stable inflation), which generally favours creditors at the expense of debtors. The prevailing orthodoxy of central bankers is closely aligned with the interests and objectives of private financial institutions, and Governors Carstens and Rajan are no exceptions.

Argentina, think before you vote, or become another Ukraine

A little more than a month has passed since the moment when Argentina elected its new president - pro-American politician and neoliberal Mauricio Macri. His election raised tensions in the country in connection with an abrupt change in the political course. Today, Argentina hopes for Washington's help. Ukraine has been there and done that... When Cristina Kirchner was in power, the Argentine authorities would speak to protesters. Today, they shoot rubber bullets and throw tear gas at them. This is how a peaceful demonstration against public sector layoffs ended on January 8 in the city of La Plata. Opposition journalists lose jobs as well. For example, famous journalist Victor Hugo was fired from Radio Continental. It is worth recalling that Macri is a former mayor of the capital of Argentina.

Venezuela declares ‘economic emergency’ amid currency woes

Venezuela’s socialist government decreed an “economic emergency” on Friday that will expand its powers and published the first data in a year that shows the depth of a recession fueled by low oil prices and a sputtering state-led model.

The central bank, which has been lambasted by critics of President Nicolas Maduro’s government for hiding statistics since the end of 2014, said the South American OPEC nation’s economy shrank 4.5 percent in the first nine months last year.

Inflation soared in that period to an annual rate of 141.5 percent, the world’s worst.
Venezuela’s oil-dependent economy is forecast to perform abysmally again in 2016. Maduro lost control of the National Assembly in a December election due to voter ire over the crisis.

The government’s decree, which the opposition-led assembly says it has the power to approve or reject, sets a 60-day “economic emergency” and would give Maduro wider powers to intervene in companies or limit access to currency.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem of being a "one trick pony" economy (i.e., dependent on the production, and price of only one commodity), when that commodity degrades in price, it takes the entire economy with it.

Venezuela may very well default on its international debts, and that would add to the economic misery of both individuals and Venezuela corporations in this country by orders of magnitude.

TDAP vaccine (not MMR vaccine as previously reported) given to pregnant women in Brazil likely suspect for newborns' with shrunken brains

THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE VACCINE/SHRUNKEN BABY BRAIN REPORT THAT MUST BE FIXED.

A woman who is currently pregnant showed me her medical schedule. The vaccine is not MMR. It is Diptheria, Tetanus and Influenza in Mexico, and in Brazil it is Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis (Tdap).

It will be VERY important for people who have posted MMR (this got reposted a lot) to change this to Tdap. I have confirmed that Brazil just got a new Tdap shot, which is the likely culprit. This report will remain unchanged, except for MMR to be replaced with TDAP. I knew it was a three way vaccine and errored with MMR, that is not what it is. Colombia: A Star of Peace shines

The peace process in Colombia between the Government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) proceeds with the aid of Cuba and after many bilateral meetings in Havana. Understanding that there are two sides to every coin, here is the position of Pastor Alape, who highlights the need for peace. "It started in 2016, the year that will be transcendental and definitive in the history of our country, Colombia. It will be the year that peace is an open path, with certain steps taken yet nothing is easy. There is no doubt that the Final Agreement will be established and then there will begin the long process of its implementation, because we must be clear, the Settlement that we sign is still not peace as such. That moment will only be the beginning of the silencing of war and the hard struggle for the complete dismantling of the paramilitary phenomenon and the fight against the isolated voices, but with immense power, that have prevented the direction of peace.

Netanyahu to Brazil: Settler leader only ambassador we’ll offer

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said if Brazil won’t approve former settler leader Dani Dayan as its ambassador, Israel won’t offer another diplomat.

Israel not having an ambassador in Brazil would represent a de facto downgrade in relations between the two countries, the TV report said.

Netanyahu’s apparent decision to stand by Dayan comes a week after various reports that Israel would withdraw Dayan’s name and instead give him the Israeli consulate general position in Los Angeles or New York.

Earlier this week, a group of 40 retired Brazilian diplomats signed a statement against the appointment of Dayan, complaining that Israel had bypassed protocol because there was no prior communication with the Brazilian Foreign Ministry or any presentation of his credentials for an agreement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given this ultimatum from the characteristically insolent and hubristic Netanyahu, I doubt that the government of Brazil is going to fold on their decision here.

In 2004, President Hugo Chavez prevented the planting of 500,000 acres of Monsanto's genetically modified (GM) corn. Since then the Venezuelan farmers have been expressing strong feelings against growing or buying GM seeds.

However, this didn't stop big corporations from trying to push their transgenic crops through in times of economic and political disturbance. A seed law proposed by a pro-government legislator in 2013 was about to open a backdoor and allow GM seeds to enter Venezuela.

Luckily, farmers and environmental movements stood up to them and demanded a complete re-write of the Seed Law.

After fighting a two-year long battle against the approval of transgenic seeds, Venezuela's National Assembly finally approved a draft Seed Law aimed to protect food security, soil fertility and promoting sustainable agriculture, instead of creating a backdoor for the spread of GM seeds.

BRAZIL CANCELS $2 BILLION CONTRACT WITH ISRAELI SECURITY FIRM FOR 2016 OLYMPICS

Brazil’s government has excluded an Israeli “security” company from working at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro following a campaign by Palestine solidarity activists. In October 2014, the Israeli firm International Security and Defence Systems (ISDS) announced it had won a $2.2 billion contract with the Brazilian government to coordinate security at the huge sports event. The Times of Israel described the deal as “an unprecedented achievement for Israel,” while senior figures from the company stated it had already begun work.

A HUGE NEW TAINTED MMR VACCINE SCAM HAS SUDDENLY CAUSED THOUSANDS OF BABIES IN LATIN AMERICA TO BE BORN WITH FAR UNDERSIZED BRAINS

The new "Autism", titled "Microcephaly" has destroyed more than 2,400 Brazilian newborn babies en utero in only the past 2 months with ZERO DESTROYED IN THE MONTHS PRIOR and is stated to be caused when a pregnant mother is bitten by the mosquito carried African zika virus, which recently "made it's debut" in Brazil in 2015. But the pattern of symptoms does not match the virus which has been proven to have infected humans since 1954 and has never previously been associated with shrunken brains in newborn babies, nor does the geographic propagation pattern match the natural propagation pattern of a mosquito carried virus that would cause undersized brains in newborn babies if it really did exist.

This "shrunken brain" issue in newborns was just suddenly in Brazil as if someone flipped a switch, and the only way that could really happen is via the sudden arrival of a new brain destroying MMR vaccine, which all pregnant Latin American women are strongly encouraged to get before week 22 of pregnancy. This perfectly matches the probable arrival of the real culprit - a tainted MMR vaccine, which if administered in May (when this virus supposedly arrived) would be causing precisely the shrunken newborn baby brain problems Brazilians are having now, right on schedule.

Putin Throws Down the Gauntlet

This isn’t a game, it’s a fight for survival; Russia’s survival as a sovereign country. That’s what the stakes are. That’s not something Putin takes lightly.

Would you be willing to defend your country against a foreign invasion?

That’s all Putin is doing in Syria. He’s just preempting the tidal wave of jihadis that’ll be coming his way once the current fracas is over. He figures it’s better to exterminate these US-backed maniacs in Syria now than face them in Chechnya, St Petersburg and Moscow sometime in the future. Can you blame him? After all, if Washington’s strategy works in Syria, then you can bet they’ll try the same thing in Beirut, Tehran and Moscow.

So what choice does Putin have?

10 SECRET ARMIES OF THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY

As more and more evidence mounts that the US government was secretly assisting the Islamic State, it might be time to point out a few instances when the Central Intelligence Agency created secret armies. The current theory suggests the US secretly supported the Islamic State so the Islamists would destabilize the government of Syrian President Assad. If that seems out of the question, remember the CIA once started a war over bananas… literal bananas. Cuba: Probably the best known secret army. Castro nationalized the assets of western companies after his government took power, so the US decided to overthrow the government of Cuba and install a puppet regime. As with most of the armies backed by the US intelligence establishment, it failed. Miserably. The Bay of Pigs invasion saw 1400 US-trained Cubans surrender to Castro’s forces within 24 hours.

How Britain abolished the slave trade - and then reestablished it

A million plus subjects coerced into slavery

The abolition of the African slave trade put Britain in a dilemma: Its economic engine still depended on slavery to run.

So it looked to India, the Empire's jewel in the crown, which had millions of unemployed laborers who could not read or write.

Signed up by a thumb print, hundreds of thousands were shipped off to sugar plantations world-wide never to return. They knew nothing of what lay in store for them.
