Top US Diplomat Sustained Support for Yemen War to Protect $2B in Weapon Sales

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo decided to continue US funding and military support for the Saudi-led coalition devastating Yemen with its blockade of the vital port city of Hodeidah and relentless bombings of civilians and civil infrastructure.

On September 12, Secretary Pompeo certified to Congress that the Saudi-led coalition, which includes the United States and the United Arab Emirates are "undertaking demonstrable actions to reduce the risk of harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure." The statement came within hours of a coalition airstrike on a bus station that left 27 civilians dead.

Yemen’s Hodeida Offensive: Once Avoidable, Now Imminent

The coalition’s strategy seems to be to seal the Houthis into Hodeida and squeeze.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pompeo knew he was signing off on a lie, to protect US weapons sales:

Pompeo Lied to Congress About Yemen To Protect Arms Sales ("Originally appeared on The American Conservative.)

The article goes on to state:

Mike Pompeo’s certification earlier this month that the Saudi coalition was working to reduce harm to civilians in Yemen was an obvious sham. According to a new report in The Wall Street Journal, Pompeo made the decision to lie for the Saudis and Emiratis because he feared it would hurt arms sales:

Mr. Pompeo overruled concerns from most of the State Department specialists involved in the debate who were worried about the rising civilian death toll in Yemen. Those who objected included specialists in the region and in military affairs. He sided with his legislative affairs team after they argued that suspending support could undercut plans to sell more than 120,000 precision-guided missiles to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, according to a classified State Department memo and people familiar with the debate."

Foreign policy in this country is never about protecting "We the People"; it is about protecting the wealth of "Those the Monied", as in defence contractors, who contribute so lavishly, overtly, and covertly, to national campaigns.

And if your national Presstitute Warrespondents has not covered the plight of Yemen, under the B.O.Y.'s watch, the following images will make clear why not: (Warning: very graphic)

Images: Yemeni kids slaughtered and maimed for life by Saudi bombing runs

Images: Yemeni kids starving through the US-enabled Saudi blockades of Yemen's ports

Images: Yemeni kids dying from cholera outbreak

If you nearly lost your breakfast in looking at this, there is still hope that you may be somewhat human. But what we need to do, on a national scale, is very peacefully, and logically, call this government out on what amounts to aiding and abetting war criminals in Saudi Arabia, in their genocide of Yemen.

In the Wikipedia article about him, I find it thoroughly astonishing that this man identifies himself as a Christian, while performing as the "Assistant Merchant of Death in Chief" for his military industrial complex buddies. Perhaps, he sees no conflict whatsoever; I have to wonder how he cannot.

Army Misses Recruiting Goal for First Time Since 2005

For the first time since 2005, the U.S. Army missed its recruiting goal this year, falling short by about 6,500 soldiers, despite pouring an extra $200 million into bonuses and approving some additional waivers for bad conduct or health issues.

Army leaders said they signed up about 70,000 new active duty recruits in the fiscal year that ends Sept. 30 — well short of the 76,500 they needed. The Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps all met their recruiting goals for 2018.

The Army's shortfall, said Maj. Gen. Joe Calloway, was fueled by the strong American economy and increased competition from private sector employers who can pay more. But the failure has triggered an overhaul in Army recruiting, including an increase in recruiters, expanded marketing and a new effort to reach out to young, potential recruits through popular online gaming.

Unlocked and Unloaded: The Top Crises Facing Britain's Crumbling Military Today

The British Ministry of Defence (MOD) may soon be unable to run its nuclear deterrent, Trident, due to massive budget cuts and a lack of sufficient personnel skilled in engineering, according to a report by the country’s parliament. This is however, only the latest in a litany of issues to torment the UK’s military establishment.

Past decisions by the British government to delay maintenance of its Trident nuclear submarines have rendered the program "not fit for purpose," according to a new report by the Public Accounts Committee.

The report's authors also make the argument that Trident could be negatively impacted upon by Brexit, due to the system's reliance on imported materials from other EU countries, as well as possible difficulties in bringing in much-needed skilled engineers from the continent to work across the 13 sites that house the nuclear submarines.

Pompeo: US Preparing a ‘Series of Actions’ Against Venezuela

Citing the US desire to increase pressure “against the Venezuelan leadership folks,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says that in the days to come, the administration will announce a series of actions against Venezuela.

Pompeo declined to offer any specifics, which is probably going to lead to speculation of something major coming, since recent reports of US policy toward Venezuela has been uniformly hostile.

President Trump threatened to attack Venezuela back in August of 2017, and this summer reports are that he’d repeatedly had to be talked out of such attacks. Early this month, the administration was confirmed to be engaging in secret coup talks with Venezuelan rebels.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would think that, with all the wars, present and coming, in which and with which the US military is embroiled, the plan may well be destabilization and regime change in Caracas, courtesy of hired rebels and mercs.

As Afghan Military Deaths Soar, Officials Struggle to Keep Toll Secret

The last official figures on Afghan military deaths came out in 2016. 22 soldiers were killed on an average day, and this was so bad that Afghan and US officials decided that death tolls would subsequently be kept secret

Things have just gotten worse, and 22 deaths would be a comparatively mild day compared to media reports on the death tolls in recent days. In the past week, the average day has seen roughly 57 deaths among Afghan security forces.

The Pentagon’s recent decision to more heavily publicize Taliban body counts, to try to sell the war to the administration, likely comes from the same place as the decision to keep Afghan military deaths secret, as this will just reveal the extent of the conflict’s failure.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So let's call this one as what it is: a 17-year, unmitigated disaster.

IF US and NATO officials had one brain cell to share on this issue, they would immediately withdraw all Coalition troops as quickly as it would be safe to do this, then negotiate with whatever government was left standing in Kabul for the pipeline, rare earth, and opium poppy rights.

Ah, but of course, they won't, because such actions... would actually be logical.

Army misses 2018 recruiting goal, which hasn't happened since 2005

The Army fell short of its recruiting goal for 2018, missing its mark for the first time since 2005 as it looks to grow its force strength in the face of growing threats from competing world powers such as Russia and China.

The Army has launched a large-scale review of its recruiting practices, senior service officials said Friday. The service will pour millions of dollars into revamping recruiting facilities and bolster its recruiting force after falling about 6,500 recruits short of its goal for fiscal year 2018, which will end Sept. 30. The Army had hoped to enlist 76,500 recruits in 2018, a goal that was lowered from 80,000 in April after more soldiers than expected elected to remain in the service.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please do not be surprised, right after the mid-terms, to see the draft reinstituted in the Unhinged, Surveilled, State of Amerika.

LEAKED MEMO SHOWS US OVERLOOKED MASS CIVILIAN DEATHS IN YEMEN TO PRESERVE ARMS SALES

On rare occasion a story is unearthed in the mainstream media which demonstrates in stunning clarity how major foreign policy decisions are really made in Washington, especially when it comes to waging perpetual war in the Middle East often under the official rhetorical guise of “protecting civilians”.

A bombshell Wall Street Journal report details a leaked classified memo which shows Secretary of State Mike Pompeo decided to continue US military involvement in the Saudi war on Yemen in order to preserve a massive $2 billion weapons deal with Riyadh.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These days, the governance in this country, is never about really, honestly taking care of the needs and concerns of We the People; it is about how financially morbidly obese defense corporations can squeeze more money out of wars to which the US government should have never committed our military in the bloody first place.

DOZENS DEAD IN IRAN AFTER GUNMEN ATTACK MILITARY PARADE, SAUDI ARABIA BLAMED

At least 25 people are dead and 53 wounded after an army parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz came under attack by militants on Saturday, according to state media.

Nearly half of the dead are members of the Revolutionary Guards, according to state news agencies, making this one of the worst attacks ever on the elite force.

While the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack, there are conflicting reports over who is behind it. A spokesman for Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Ramezan Sharif, said the attackers were funded by Sunni arch rival Saudi Arabia.

"Those who opened fire on civilians and the armed forces have links to the Ahvazi movement," Guards spokesman Ramezan Sharif told ISNA.

"They are funded by Saudi Arabia and attempted to cast a shadow over the Iranian armed forces."

Zarif vowed Iran would "respond swiftly and decisively in defence of Iranian lives". -France24

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that the "Usual Suspects" (read: the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia) appear to be hell-bent on starting a war against Iran, and I am deeply concerned that this attack against the Revolutionary Guards being one of the opening salvos, other than economic, in that war.

I would like to strongly caution those who believe it would be such a "good idea" to do this, to remember the degree of Russia's assistance to Bashar Al Assad in Syria, where Russian intervention was successful in turning the tide against the rebels there.

So not believe for one moment, should Iran be attacked, that Russia (and ultimately, China) will fail to come to its aid, as evidenced by the following:

2015: Russia and Iran sign a military cooperation pact

And we need, also, to look at Russia's strengthening of ties to Iran this year, during the following meetings:

Russia and Iran deepen ties to challenge Trump and the United States

July, 2018: Russia and China have Tehran's Back

So, a global war against Iran, featuring the US, NATO, Israel, and Saudi Arabia on the one hand, and China, Russia, and Iran on the other?!?

The kind of devastation such a war would bring to this planet, is both unimaginable, and most probably irrevocable.

The Odd Chabad Connection Between Putin and Trump

Let’s begin here:

Starting in 1999, [Vladimir] Putin enlisted two of his closest confidants, the oligarchs Lev Leviev and Roman Abramovich, who would go on to become Chabad’s biggest patrons worldwide, to create the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia under the leadership of Chabad rabbi Berel Lazar, who would come to be known as “Putin’s rabbi.”

Putin is a Chabad Lubavitch puppet

While RT and a lot of alternative news outlets portray Putin as some sort of savior, the reality is that he is just playing his role in the Jewish Babylonian messianic soap new world order. Instead of expelling jewish influence in his country after the fairly recent satanic mass slaughter of up to 80 million of his Russian brothers and sisters by jews after the "Bolshevik" revolution, Putin is calling for harder punishments for anti semitic expressions in Russia. He proposed to members of the European Jewish Congress, that Jews facing a rising tide of anti-Semitism and bigotry farther west should move to Russia, where he said they would be better accepted. Readers of the Jerusalem Post have chosen Putin as their person of the year.

US Worried S-400 May Obtain Sensitive Data on American Fighter Jets – Analyst

Even though it is not clear whether India will receive a waiver with regard to US sanctions against Russia, New Delhi has made it clear that it will go ahead with the S-400 air defense system deal as it is at an "advanced stage."

New Delhi (Sputnik) — A defense analyst has suggested that America's reservations against India acquiring the Russian air defense system is mainly borne out of the fear that if the S-400 is used to test the stealth capabilities of American fighter jets, India would have access to the data of American jets and that data could be leaked to Russia or other adversaries of the US.

Former squadron leader of the Indian Air Force and an independent defense analyst Vijainder K Thakur confirmed that S-400 systems can be used not only to identify radar tracks belonging to America's F-35s, but to also possibly determine the configuration of an F-35.

A Reaper Drone Shot Down Another Drone in First Unmanned Air-to-Air Kill

A U.S. Reaper drone shot down another with a missile, the Air Force revealed yesterday. The incident, which took place last year and involved an unmanned target drone, was the first case of a drone shooting down another another aircraft. The event ism a watershed moment in the history of aerial warfare, as unmanned aircraft begin to muscle in on air-to-air combat—previously the exclusive domain of manned aircraft.

Colonel Julian Cheater, commander of the 432nd Air Expeditionary Wing, revealed the incident in an interview with Military.com. The 432nd “Hunters” Wing is based at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada and is responsible for “unmanned precision attack and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions...in support of overseas contingency operations”.

Pentagon Hypes Taliban Body Counts to Try to Sell White House on Afghan War

The Pentagon’s leadership has long opposed using body counts as war propaganda, particularly in Afghanistan, fearing that it would echo the failed strategy of Vietnam, and alienating people around the world.

But in recent months, efforts to sell President Trump on the Afghan War have changed that, with officials now eager to get gaudy death tolls out to the public to prove that the US and its allies will “remove all who oppose them at every turn,” and are making progress in killing people.

Yet these same officials have long admitted this isn’t an effective way to communicate how the war is going, and that fixation on body counts comes off as terribly morbid. Whether it is something to sell President Trump on the war is another matter.

Washington’s Endless Sanctions Are Finally Backfiring

Sanctions are worse than ineffective: they have potentially far-reaching economic impacts. Limiting Iran’s oil sales pushes up energy prices globally. Penalizing technology sales to Moscow disproportionately affects European firms. Even smaller markets matter. Warned Peter Harrell, an attorney specializing in sanctions: “Trump’s August 9 tariffs on Turkey spurred a dramatic market selloff that not only affected Ankara but also caused the stocks of major European banks with business in Turkey to plunge and raised concerns about contagion to other emerging markets.” Washington’s promiscuous use of economic sanctions has moved the global economy away from the liberal marketplace.

Poland's Wish to Host US Base Shows Country 'Lives in Illusion' - EU MP

Poland's wish to host a US military base shows that the country, possessed by its resentment toward Russia, still "lives in illusion," Jean-Luc Schaffhauser, a member of the European Parliament and of French party National Rally (RN), told Sputnik.

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday in a meeting with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda that the United States was "considering" an establishment of a military base in Poland.

"The Poles live in an illusion, which has several times led them to positions detrimental to their nation… We must tell our Polish friends that this is enough and that Europe is not there to stir up conflicts and settle their past resentments or, even more seriously, their hatred of Russians," Schaffhauser said.

ANTIWAR ACTIVIST DRAGGED FROM TRUMP OFFICIAL'S SPEECH

‘Peace with Iran!’ Anti-war activist dragged from Trump official’s anti-Tehran speech (VIDEO)

A prominent anti-war activist was dragged out of a meeting attended by the US special envoy to Iran, but not before she stepped onto the stage and took aim at the official’s hawkish anti-Iranian speech.
***
“That is the most ridiculous thing I have seen. The world community wants to keep the Iran nuclear deal,” Benjamin said as she took to the stage with a security guard following closely behind.
***
“Let’s talk about normal countries. Let’s talk about Saudi Arabia. Is that who our allies are? They are the biggest threat to the world community.”
***
With three men now trying to remove her, Benjamin said>>>
“They’re [the sanctions] hurting the Iranian people. You are making a case for war with Iran. How did the war with Iraq turn out? You’re doing exactly the same thing we did in the case of Iraq. We don’t want another war in the Middle East.”
***
As Benjamin was ejected from the room she shouted “So let’s get real. No more war! Peace with Iran!”

After her ejection, Hook, who had remained silent during her comments quipped: “I think she had her coffee this morning.”

US Sends Ships to South China Sea ‘to Create Trouble’ - Chinese Envoy

China’s chief envoy in London accused “some big countries outside the region” of coming “all the way to the South China Sea to create trouble,” where China claims large expanses of sea and atolls.

Ambassador of China to the United Kingdom Liu Xiaoming told the annual Induction Programme for Commonwealth Diplomats organised by the Commonwealth Secretariat Wednesday that regional powers had made major strides toward resolving tensions in the South China Sea by themselves.

In response to the what Putin has called a ‘tragic incident’ that caused the death of the crew of the radio reconnaissance aircraft and the IL-20 VKS RF warhead, Rusvesna reports that the Russian military has made a major move.

Effective September 19th, the Russian Federation has announced the closure of a large area of ??the eastern Mediterranean for the movement of military aircraft and ships until the 26th of September.

According to the official version, this step is justified by the beginning of unscheduled maneuvers of the navy and aviation off the coast of Syria.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My question, since what Russia has essentially done, is to declare a "no fly" zone over the Eastern Mediterranean, for Russian naval drills, will the US comply, or attack before the 26th of this month in their own "Freedom of Navigation" drills?!?

Unfortunately, if I were a betting person, I would think the latter, rather than the former outcome, is more possible here.

Idlib: Lull Before the Hurricane. New US Military Doctrine for Intervention in Syria

Without fanfare the US has just reformulated its position to create the conditions for it to launch devastating strikes on Syria no longer just on the pretext of alleged use of chemical weapons but on any ‘humanitarian’ pretext the US sees fit. In an interview with the Washington Post on 6 September, James Jeffrey, the hawkish new Special Envoy for Syria fresh from the neocon incubator of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, did not mince words:

“We’ve started using new language,” Jeffrey said, referring to previous warnings against the use of chemical weapons. Now, he said, the United States will not tolerate “an attack. Period.”

“Any offensive is to us objectionable as a reckless escalation” he said. “You add to that, if you use chemical weapons, or create refugee flows or attack innocent civilians.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The primary question is, with the Russian/Turkish agreement in place on Idlib, how long with the Syrian government wait to regain Idlib from US backed terrorists, and will that be the "justification" for an American/Israeli strike against both Syria and Russia?!?

US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard Blasts America’s Support for Al-Qaeda in Syria, as Trump Threatens Further Military Action

US military veteran and congresswomen for Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, has slammed US foreign policy in Syria.

Arming al-Qaeda

On the 13th of September, Gabbard told [23:06] comedian and satirist Jimmy Dore:

“Since 2011 both overtly and covertly, the United States has been providing arms, intelligence, and equipment to fighters who are allied with, fighting along side, working with, al Qaeda in this regime change war.

So these very same terrorists who attacked us on 9/11. We’ve been supporting for years, as this ground force to fight in this regime change war that we have been quietly waging now for seven years.”

These statements are strikingly up front, given the fact that these policies began under Democratic Party President Barack Obama.

On the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Gabbard also criticised Trump’s opposition the Syrian government’s plans to retake Idlib, by way of tweet:

‘Captain Marvel’ Is The Recruiting Tool Of The Air Force’s Dreams

After a minute of explosions, alien spacecraft, and a crash-landing in a Blockbuster — so you know it takes place in the ‘90s — the new trailer for the upcoming Marvel film shows us the real origins of Air Force Col. Carol Danvers. Danvers grows from downtrodden adolescent to determined Air Force cadet, to outstanding fighter pilot, to cosmically-powered warfighter in the span of a few frames.

If this seems familiar, it should. The trailer evokes old Department of Defense recruiting commercials, like a young woman’s transformation from student to Marine in last year’s recruiting spot, “Battle Up.” It’s a common hook in military recruiting ads: You tell a life story, or a coming-of-age tale, in 60 seconds flat. After all, joining the military to transform into the pinnacle of martial perfection, and thus become a national superhero in your own right, isn’t a new lure. Anyone remember that one commercial involving a mameluke-sword-wielding Marine in dress blues vanquishing a demon?

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have seen this kind of recruiting up close and personal. We live not far from the Marine air station, where there are "festivals" where the general public is encouraged to attend, particularly with their families and kids.

I have watched some really bright, kid-centric, and young military officers engaging with kids, describing how various pieces of military hardware work, and I have seen those kids leave starry-eyed, and all aglow with what a military future might hold for them.

The reality that all wars are economic in nature, is never broached, and of course, nor are the real killing capabilities of all those wiz-bang machines they see assembled around them. One also almost never sees a wounded Vet at these events, to drive home the possibility of being killed, or physically maimed during combat.

It's all bright, shiny show of impending death to "the others" with no consequences to yourself, which get pitched at these events. I believe this to be absolutely morally wrong.

And if you have a teenage child who has seen this movie, and comes home talking about wanting to enlist in a branch of the military, please find someone from any organization like Veterans for Peace, and invite them over to talk to your kid.

They've been there; they understand what it is like to be "in country", where the job is to "pacify" the locals, insure a US-centric government stays in place, and where all the natural resources of that country are only sold in US dollars.

This... is what I mean when I say, "All wars are economic in nature."

5.2 million children at famine risk in Yemen: charity

More than five million children are at risk of famine in Yemen as the ongoing war causes food and fuel prices to soar across the country, charity Save the Children warned Wednesday.

Disruption to supplies coming through the embattled Red Sea port of Hodeida could "cause starvation on an unprecedented scale," the British based NGO said in a new report.

Save the Children said an extra one million children now risk falling into famine as prices of food and transportation rise, bringing the total to 5.2 million.

A Saudi-led alliance intervened in 2015 in a bid to bolster the president, accusing Iran of backing the Huthis, but nearly 10,000 people have since been killed.

Deadly clashes resumed around the Huthi-held port city of Hodeida following the collapse of talks in Geneva earlier this month.

"Millions of children don't know when or if their next meal will come," said Helle Thorning-Schmidt, CEO of Save the Children International.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mattis says US is still backing Saudi coalition in Yemen war, as lawmakers fume

Yes, I said it; the blockade of Yemen's major ports, preventing food from getting in to innocent non-combatants, are blocked, and now that the Saudis are in position to take over the last port city in Yemen, Hodeidah, the situation will simply get more catastrophic.

The Corps just slapped a counter-drone system on an MRZR all-terrain vehicle

In yet another sign the Corps is becoming increasingly concerned about air defense, the Corps decided to slap a counter-drone system on a Polaris MRZR all-terrain vehicle.

The system is a “maneuverable ground-based sensor, electronic attack, C2 [ command and control] system," 1st Lt. Ariel Cecil, the commander of the Low Altitude Air Defense detachment for Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166, said in a video posted by the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

The LMADIS can detect, track, identify and take down drones with electronic attack, according to Cecil.

US aircraft carrier Truman crosses Atlantic after threats to Syria

USS ‘Harry S. Truman’ is crossing the Atlantic after leaving the US east coast following last week’s drills. The movement of the carrier, used during the Middle East mission in April, comes in the wake of US threats to Damascus.
Data provided by the US Naval Institute (USNI) on Monday showed the ship in the Atlantic roughly over 1,000 km west of Ireland’s southern coast.

The previous position of the ship reported by the USNI the week before was not far from the US east coast. The aircraft carrier group with 6,500 sailors left its base in Norfolk and took part in “sustainment operations and carrier qualifications in the Atlantic” just over a week ago.

The warship’s Atlantic exercise comes after the White House warned earlier this month that it would respond “swiftly and appropriately” if the Syrian government used chemical weapons in its fight to secure Idlib.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US is sending a rather intense, and potentially badly timed, show of force, just at the moment after a Turkish/Russian agreement has been created to stop the potential slaughter in Idlib, which, admittedly, would most probably result in the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians.

The worst case scenario I can imagine here is some Syrian effort to take out the terrorists on their own here, which will cause US missiles to start flying (probably aided by Israeli military) and we are off and running with a battle between the US and Israel on one side, and Syria and Russia on the other.

Air Force Calls For 24% Increase In Squadrons To Prepare For War Against Major Power

Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson on Monday called for a significant increase in the service’s size, as it prepares for the possibility of war against a major nation such as China or Russia, in the next decade.

Under the expansion plan outlined by Wilson, the Air Force needs to grow by 74 additional squadrons, a 25% increase, by 2030. She said the number was based on internal reports, using intelligence estimates of what the service would need as far as manpower to be victorious in the next conflict.

"To face the world as it is, with a rapidly innovating adversary, the Air Force we need should have about 25 percent more operational squadrons in the 2025 to 2030 time frame than the Air Force we have," Wilson told attendees at an Air Force Association conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

Has The Era Of Autonomous Warfare Finally Arrived?

By Nicholas West

The global arms race for the latest weapons of war is a naturally escalating cycle of countries pursuing ways to dominate the battlefield of the future. Increasingly, that battlefield is a matrix of soldiers with traditional weapons, robots, drones and cyberweapons. Until this point, command over this matrix has ultimately been in the hands of humans. Now, however, many of the trends in artificial intelligence-driven autonomy are enabling data collection, analysis and potentially combat to be done by algorithms.

Another key signpost has entered the roadmap toward a future of autonomous systems capable of engaging in combat without human oversight. The U.S. military announced the first ever successful unmanned aerial “kill” of another aircraft during a previously unreported training exercise...

US War Strategists: Military Defeats and Political Success

In a previous article (US: The Century of Lost Wars) I recorded the repeated US military defeats over the past two decades. In this discussion I will describe the role of military strategists who bear responsibility for the US defeats, but also for Israeli political successes.

The key to this apparent contradiction is to uncover how and why the destruction of Israeli adversaries prolonged costly US military invasions.

The two outcomes are inter-related. The same US military strategists whose policies lead to failed US wars in the Middle East facilitated and augmented the power of Israel.

US war strategists’ operations reflect ‘dual loyalties’. On the one-hand they receive their elite education and high positions in the US, while their political loyalties to Tel Aviv express their Israel First strategic decisions.

DESPITE PLEDGE NOT TO, GERMANY APPROVES SALE OF WEAPONS TO SAUDI ARABIA

With Saudi Arabia forever escalating their war in Yemen, the growing calls by human rights groups to stop selling them arms with which to commit war crimes are struggling to compete with the vast sums of money the Saudis are offering for those arms.

Germany is the latest to renege on promises to ban weapons sales for use in the Yemen War, announcing Wednesday that the Economy Minister has greenlit a new round of artillery systems for sale to the Saudis.

The systems are designed for precise counterattack, and are clearly being bought explicitly to use in Yemen. Yet the Merkel government, as part of its coalition deal, announced a full export ban to “any sides fighting in Yemen,” including the Saudis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congratulations, German Prime Minister Merkel, for committing the German people to yet more assassination and genocide of the Yemeni people, and what you have done here looks like this (and no, these images are NOT photoshopped):

images: Yemeni children killed, courtesy of US/enabled Saudi bombing raids over their country

Images: Yemeni children starving to death, courtesy of US-enabled Saudi blockades of Yemeni ports

Images: Yemeni children dying of (potentially weaponized) cholera

Glad you're morally happy with this choice, Prime Minister Merkel, and German arms makers are laughing themselves all the way to the bank from the coming wanton destruction of Yemeni lives by the Saudis.

Iran Hawks in Washington

No doubt, anti-Iran propaganda out of Washington abounds. There are numerous Zionist-run think-tanks (sic) that make US Foreign Policy – and are ratcheting up anti-Iran anger in the US, but targeting especially the Iranian population at home, in Iran. The notorious chief-villain of these agencies, by the way, highly subsidized by the US State Department, and perhaps even more important, by the powerful US military-security complex, is the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy (FDD).

More than fifty years ago, then President Dwight Eisenhower already warned the world about the invasive, abusive and greed-driven powers of this ever-growing war industry.

Made inAmerica

Last month, a CNN investigation found remnants of a US-made bomb at the scene of an airstrike that left dozens of schoolboys dead. Now, an independent Yemen-based human rights group called Mwatana has given CNN exclusive access to a trove of documents that show fragments of US-manufactured bombs at the scene of a string of other incidents since 2015, when the civil war began. In each of those cases, civilians were either killed or put at risk.

Mwatana, which documents violations by all parties in Yemen’s conflict, used its network of trained field researchers to photograph evidence at the scene of strikes. The group consulted weapons experts to identify the weapons used from serial numbers found on the fragments. Mwatana was recognized last month with an award by US body Human Rights First.

US military given more authority to launch preventative cyberattacks

The US military is taking a more aggressive stance against foreign government hackers who are targeting the US and is being granted more authority to launch preventative cyberstrikes, according to a summary of the Department of Defense's new Cyber Strategy.

The Pentagon is referring to the new stance as "defend forward," and the strategy will allow the US military "to disrupt or halt malicious cyber activity at its source, including activity that falls below the level of armed conflict."
The new military strategy, signed by Defense Secretary James Mattis, also emphasizes an intention to "build a more lethal force" of first-strike hackers.
The "defend forward" initiative wasn't included in the 2015 strategy and further enables the United States to carry out offensive hacking operations to defend against cyberattacks on critical US infrastructure, such as election systems and the energy grid.

Poland Offers US $2 Billion to Establish a Permanent Military Base

Visiting the White House on Tuesday, Polish President Andrzej Duda reiterated Poland’s offer to pay $2 billion to the US if President Trump establishes a permanent military base inside Poland. Duda argues it is needed as a bulwark against Russia.

This is not a new offer, though Duda’s visit gives it a lot more attention. Polish Defense Ministry officials announced the offer back in May, saying they want a US armored division and are willing to defray some of the construction costs of the base.

In reality, the cost putting a US armored base in Poland on a permanent basis is going to be several hundred million dollars per year, and while Poland’s cash may make the initial move into the country cheaper, it will quickly be another costly mission for the US with no end in sight.

Can Russia Survive Her “Partnerships”? Has Putin Made A Strategic Miscalculation?

Paul Craig Roberts

In an act of intentional deception, Israel used a Russian airplane to cloak an Israeli attack on a Syrian ground position, with the consequence that Syrian air defense missiles downed the Russian airplane with the lost of 15 Russian military lives.

One wonders how Israel does it. President Putin covered up for Israel’s destruction of the Russian IL-20 just as President Johnson covered up for Israel’s murderous attack on the USS Liberty that resulted in 208 US Navy casualties. https://www.rt.com/news/438728-putin-israel-syria-plane/ As Israel gets away with everything, including routine massacres of unarmed Palestinian women and children, there is no reason to expect Israel to change its behavior.

Britain Joins US In Unwise Confrontation In The South China Sea

The US research agency Stratfor has forecast that “the United States will solidify its naval presence in the South China Sea and continue building up defence and economic ties along China's periphery from Taiwan to Southeast Asia,” and given the all-embracing belligerence that seems to envelope Washington, its analysts are probably right. There are few countries or international accords that are not targeted by the malevolence of a president who declared at his inauguration that “it’s going to be only America first, America first” and whose disciples applaud his erratic lurches from truculent insults to maudlin self-pity.

Russia blames Israel for the shooting down of her EW aircraft

Most likely Russia will do nothing as Putin is in the Israeli pocket.

Basically, 4 Israeli aircraft were sent on a bombing mission against targets near the Russian facilities in Khmeimim and Tartus (which, by itself, is both stupid and irresponsible). The Israelis *deliberately* did not warn the Russians until less than a minute before the attack took place, thus the Russians did not have the time to tell the crew of the Il-20 electronic warfare aircraft, which was on approach for a landing, to take evasive action. When the Syrian S-200 fired their missiles to intercept the incoming missiles, the Israelis F-16 used the Il-20, which has a much bigger radar cross section, to hide themselves resulting in the loss of 15 lives and one aircraft.

Typical Israeli “cleverness”.

The Bluffer’s Guide to Bombing Syria

Trump's Reckless Hostility Unites China and Russia

Good work Mr. President! You have now managed to lay the groundwork for a grand Chinese-Russian alliance. The objective of intelligent diplomacy is to divide one’s foes, not to unite them.

This epic blunder comes at a time when the US appears to be getting ready for overt military action in Syria against Russian and Syrian forces operating there. The excuse, as before, will be false-flag attacks with chlorine gas, a chemical widely used in the region for water purification. It appears that the fake attacks have already been filmed.

Meanwhile, some 303,000 Russian, Chinese and Mongolian soldiers are engaged in massive maneuvers in eastern Siberia and naval exercises in the Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk. The latter, an isolated region of Arctic water, is the bastion of Russia’s Pacific Fleet of nuclear-armed missile submarines.

A VIEW OF THE DEADLY WORLD ORDER

As of five years ago half of the wealth in the world belonged to the top 1%. Furthermore, the top 10% hold 85% of the total world wealth. But these figures do not tell the whole story. A Credit Suisse Report, “Wealth Distribution & Gini (2013)” tells us the damnable reality of disproportionate value our world is faltering under. While some would argue that the United States of America’s citizens being thirty times wealthier on average than Russian citizens is some kind of golden badge of excellence, others would argue about who is benefiting from whom. Countries like Denmark, with virtually no natural resources, have a citizenry 25 times richer than Russians, 12 times richer than South Africans, 35 times wealthier than Venezuelans, and nearly twice as prosperous as people from oil-rich Qatar. Don’t take my word, parous the unbelievable statistics yourself.

FORGET PUTIN: 4 REASONS WHY TRUMP IS NETANYAHU’S MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE

In the months leading up to the 25th anniversary of the Oslo Accords, the U.S. has colluded with Israel in a string of policies and decisions that completely undermine the legitimacy of the agreement, not to mention Palestinian claims to justice, freedom and ultimately peace. As these policies unfold, one cannot help recalling the words of the great Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, who said that talking with the Israelis is “a conversation between the sword and the neck.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

When one is owned by Sheldon Adelson, as is President Trump, because
Adelson has kept throwing all possible contribution money in President Trump's direction, you do his - and Netanyahu's - bidding.

And where this agenda ultimately will most probably take the Unhinged, Surveilled, State of Amerika, is as follows:

It appears very likely that soon, the US will bomb Syria in Idlib, as the result of a staged, faked chemical attack against it, or the result of Syrian and Russian forces attacking the rebel stronghold here, which can potentially morph into a shooting war between the US and Russia Russia there. Tel Aviv wants regime change in Damascus, and apparently, President Trump has promised Netanyahu that he will deliver...but only at the costs of American money, and American blood, rather than Israeli; such a deal!!

It appears that President Trump, realizing that he cannot cause all countries who buy oil from Iran, to stop buying it, may move forward with either a false flag in the Gulf, to prevent Iranian oil from being shipped anywhere, or an outright attack against Tehran, again to generate Israeli-desired regime change here, and again, only at the costs of American blood and American money; such a deal!! Timing is significant here, because it is Sunday, 4 November, which he has given as the "drop dead" date for all countries to stop buying Iranian oil. I would suggest that, between the 4th and Tuesday, the 6th of that month, the date of US mid-terms, that we may well see military action against Iran. I do not know what Russia will do under those circumstances, but my gut is telling me that Russia's Putin - and the Russian Duma - will not be sitting, arms folded, and singing "Kumbayah" should this happen, and may well come to Iran's defense.

So what we have here, are two scenarios which are all upside for Israel's foreign policies, but all downside for the US government, and the US people.

That President Trump is unable to distinguish what is really for the best for the American people, such as not going to war against these countries, and negotiating for resources the US may well need in the future, rather than going to a world war to control them, is one of the most terrifying aspects of this Presidency.

If the rumours regarding Sec-def Mattis' departure from the Cabinet are true, happening right after the mid-terms, with a new Sec-Def confirmed, look for a potential reinstatement of the draft; Trump won't do it before, because he knows it's an election year loser for the Republicans.

I wish I could see a happier outcome for this country, unshackled at the ankles from Israel's foreign policy objectives; but unfortunately, looking at all the potential wars looming to service the Zionist dream for an "Eretz Israel", or greater Israel, I just cannot see such an outcome at this moment in time.

Starving Yemenis forced to eat vine leaves to stay alive

In a remote pocket of northern Yemen, many families with starving children have nothing to eat but the leaves of a local vine, boiled into a sour, acidic green paste. International aid agencies have been caught off guard by the extent of the suffering there as parents and children waste away.

The main health center in Aslam district was flooded with dozens of emaciated children during a recent visit by the Associated Press.

Excruciatingly thin toddlers, eyes bulging, sat in a plastic washtub used in a make-shift scale as nurses weighed them one by one. Their papery skin was stretched tight over pencil-like limbs and knobby knees. Nurses measured their forearms, just a few centimeters in diameter, marking the worst stages of malnutrition.

At least 20 children are known to have died of starvation already this year, more than three years into the country’s ruinous civil war, in the province that includes the district.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government and military are complicit with Saudi Arabia in war crimes committed in Yemen.

This is what life looks like to Yemeni children on the bring of death, due to starvation, ensured by the blockading of Yemeni ports, courtesy of US-enabled Saudi blockade, because all food, medicine, and humanitarian aid must be delivered by ship. Warning: graphic image:

Images: Yemeni children dying from starvation, courtesy of Saudi/US blockading of Yemen's ports

But we all have to do more than be sad that these kids are dying; we must be peacefully pro-active, by calling our alleged Congressional Representatives, and letting them understand that we are smart enough to realize that this collective punishment of Yemenis is a war crime.

Make sure that they understand that not working to stop American involvement in these atrocities will be a deal breaker, come November's the mid-terms, and ask them politely if they would be willing to go on the record, to support, or condemn, these actions.

What Russia's Wargames Propaganda Tells Us About Its Military

Russia’s Vostok (“East”) 2018 exercises are currently under way across the nation. Russian air, land, sea, and even nuclear forces are participating. Although the number of personnel Russia claims to be participating (297,000) is surely exaggerated, the troops involved and doing some pretty fascinating things.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence has uploaded several videos from the exercises to briefly highlight what Russian—and Chinese—soldiers are doing. The videos, which should be considered propaganda and consumed with a healthy dose of skepticism, are a window into rarely seen aspects of the Russian military, from the radar screens of surface-to-air missile systems to fighters and bombers preparing to fly towards Alaskan airspace.

The Weaponization of Depleted Uranium: A Deadly Dust Crime Against Humanity

The aerosol or spallation frangible powder produced by impact and combustion of depleted uranium munitions can potentially contaminate wide areas around the impact sites, leading to inhalation by human beings. It has a halflife of 4.5 billion years.

Normal functioning of the kidney, brain, liver, heart and numerous other systems can be affected by exposure to toxic uranium. Studies suggest the possibility of leukemogenic, genetic, reproductive and neurological affects from exposure.

A 2005 epidemiology review concluded, “In aggregate the human epidemiological evidence is consistent with increased risk of birth defects in offspring of persons exposed to DU.”

Israeli troops kill boy, two men in Gaza protests - medics

Israeli soldiers killed three Palestinians, one of them an 11-year-old boy, and wounded at least 248 others taking part on Friday in weekly protests at the fortified Gaza Strip border, Palestinian medical officials said.

The Israeli military said it used force necessary to repel 13,000 Palestinians who massed at several points at the fence.

Some hurled rocks, fire-bombs and grenades at troops under cover of smoke from burning tyres, injuring a soldier, and nine Palestinians briefly crossed into Israel, the military said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These demonstrations will end in one of two ways; either there is a negotiated settlement between Israel and the Palestinians, affirming the Palestinian Right of Return, or a complete annihilation of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

Given Israeli government and military hubris, unfortunately, I fear that it will be the latter, rather than the former outcome.

President Trump will probably get notified after the fact, and it will probably be carried out when Americans are distracted by football, food, and possibly during the American family festival of Thanksgiving, if Tel Aviv thinks it can wait that long to strike.

But there is one thing about which I am certain; these protests, and the assassinations of innocents by the IDF, will continue until one of the two outcomes I have described above, actually happens.

DAYS AFTER 9/11 TULSI GABBARD SLAMS "BETRAYAL OF AMERICAN PEOPLE" OVER SYRIA

Considering that Congresswoman Gabbard herself is an Iraq war veteran and current Army reserve officer who served in the aftermath of 9/11, it's all the more power and rare that a sitting Congress member would make such forceful comments exposing the hypocrisy and contradictions of US policy.

She called out President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence by name on the House floor in her speech:

“Two days ago, President Trump and Vice President Pence delivered solemn speeches about the attacks on 9/11, talking about how much they care about the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on our country. But, they are now standing up to protect the 20,000 to 40,000 al-Qaeda and other jihadist forces in Syria, and threatening Russia, Syria, and Iran, with military force if they dare attack these terrorists."

Webmaster's Commentary:

If Representative Gabbard decides to run for national office, I will support her completely; she is a refreshing kind of honest you rarely see coming out of DC.

Unfortunately, her anti-war stance, as a Veteran, will not win her points with the military/industrial complex, so she most probably doesn't have a chance of a snowball surviving in hell.

But the American people, ALL OF THEM, need to hear what Tulsi has to say about these endless wars, to conquer the world's resources, and to insure that products are only sold in US dollars.

MILITARY INTERVENTION IN VENEZUELA ‘ON THE TABLE,’ SAYS OAS SECRETARY GENERAL

The head of the Organization of American States (OAS), accused by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro of being a “CIA agent,” says military intervention against Caracas should not be ruled out as a response to the ongoing crisis.
OAS Secretary-General Luis Almagro has hinted that the bloc may consider taking military action in Venezuela if it runs out of diplomatic options in its bid to alleviate the plight of people in the crisis-stricken country.

“With regards to a military intervention aimed at overthrowing the regime of Nicolas Maduro, I think we should not exclude any option,” Almagro said on Friday.

Venezuelans have been fleeing to neighboring countries in droves due to shortages of food and water, as well as soaring inflation and unemployment at home.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Are you flipping kidding me, that OAS Secretary-General Luis Almagro is actually floating the idea of an invasion, occupation, and regime change in Venezuela, to see how it resonates?!?

I would like to hope that the OAS is not pig-headedly stupid as to attempt this; even with Venezuela's current economic woes, I would not bet that the Venezuelan people will "welcome these troops as saviors", throwing roses at their feet.

WHY JOHN BOLTON REALLY HATES THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT

Countries with nothing to fear do not fear the ICC.

Countries with nothing to fear do not fear the ICC. The United States and Israel are very afraid of the ICC. The murder of unarmed civilians is a war crime. So is torture. Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of densely-populated civilian areas, its half-century occupation of Palestinian territory and its construction and expansion of Jews-only settler colonies on Palestinian land are all also illegal under international law. Neither Israel nor the United States has joined the ICC. Other leading human rights violators, including North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar and Ethiopia, have either never joined or have withdrawn from the court.

U.S. CONDUCTS LIVE-FIRE DRILLS WITH SYRIAN 'REBELS' IN RARE DISPLAY AIMED AT RUSSIA

On Thursday an anti-Assad group in Syria's south confirmed to Reuters via its 'rebel' commander that it is conducting rare military exercises with American forces in order to "send a strong message to Russia and Iran that the Americans and the rebels intend to stay and confront any threats to their presence," according to a new Reuters report.

The anti-Assad commander, Colonel Muhanad al Talaa, is part of the Pentagon-backed Maghawir al Thawra group now conducting eight days of "live-fire and ground assault" drills that involve "hundreds" of U.S. troops and allied Syrian insurgents cooperating together.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Russians are sending a strong signal as well, that should the US attack at Idlib, the Russians may well not be fighting the US military alone, either.

Software Issues Derail F-35 Testing Schedule

Problems lingering in the F-35’s software systems have delayed a series of tests designed to ensure the aircraft can perform a full range of operationally relevant missions.

An internal memo signed by Robert Behler, the US Defense Department's director of operational test and evaluation, has pushed backed the "initial test and evaluation" (IOT&E) of the aircraft by at least two months. The memo, dated August 24, was obtained by the Project on Government Oversight (POGO) and published September 12.

The "currently fielded operationally-representative software version 30R00, which I approved for Pre-IOT&E Increment 2 test activities, was adequate and relevant to conduct the evaluation of two-ship missions involving lower-end threats," Behler wrote.

New Russian AWACS Will Absolutely Outpace Rivals, Causes NATO Great Concern

The Russian Air Force will receive the new Beriev A-100 aircraft with the Air Alert and Control System, or Early Warning and Control System (AWACS) as early as 2020 or early 2021. AWACS would significantly boost the Russian Air Force’s ability to obtain and maintain air superiority when coupled with fighters like the Sukhoi Su-30SM Flanker-H and Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker-E.

The Russian Defense Minister is expected to sign the production contract for the new AWACS, which would replace the existing Beriev A-50 fleet in the Russian Air Force. “We look forward to a detailed discussion with the Ministry of Defense on the delivery contract for the A-100 aircraft by the end of this year or in 2019,” said U.S. Aviation Corporation President Yuri Slyusar.

Russia warns about US attempts to prepare global public opinion for new attack on Syria

Russia says it is concerned about the attempts being made by the United States to prepare the global public opinion for new military aggression against Syria.

“Regarding the international political point of view, the most serious concern is using of a very serious range of opportunities by Washington: from statements by officials to comments by biased media, the goal seems to be the preparation of public opinion for … new aggression against Syria,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova in a press conference in the capital Moscow on Thursday.

She added that tensions were particularly on the rise in Syria’s northwestern province of Idlib due to a high concentration of militants there.

“Despite the uncovering of plans by militants and representatives of White Helmets to stage the use of chemical weapons by government troops, preparation of the above-mentioned staged action continues inside the Idlib zone,” Zakharova said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The things people need to keep asking themselves, are as follows:

IF, with Russia's help, al Assad has been able to liberate nearly the entire country, why would he be using poison chemicals on his own people?!? This makes utterly zero sense.

IF Syria destroyed its chemical weapons under an international agreement and inspection, how are these chemical agents getting into Syria now?!? Who has smuggled them into the country?!?

The short answer is, the people who want the false flag to happen as a justification for an American attack against Idlib, have had these chemicals smuggled in.

Trump May Replace Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis with a Neocon

Now there are rumors circulating that Mattis will step down in the months ahead. If this happens, who will replace him?

Arkansas senator Cotton (or Graham), Bolton, and Sec. State Pompeo would be an almost ideal triad for Israel and the neocons who faithfully do the apartheid state’s bidding in Congress.

For Cotton, it’s all about Israel and the Likudniks. He received $700,000 for his Senate campaign from the Emergency Committee for Israel.

“During the 2014 Israeli invasion of Gaza, when over 500 Palestinian were killed, Cotton called the Israeli defense force ‘the most moral, humanitarian fighting force in the world.’ In December he said Congress should consider supplying Israel with B-52s and so-called ‘bunker-buster’ bombs for a possible strike against Iran,” Medea Benjamin and Nalini Ramachandran wrote back in March, 2015.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please, Lord; not another neocon Likudnik for Secretary of Defense!!

These people are thoroughly blind to the reality that what may in fact be good for Israeli geopolitics may not, at all, be good for the US, and the costs in blood and money for a potential attack against Iran would be horrific.

Turkey imposes indefinite curfew in over 100 Kurdish villages

Turkish authorities in the Kurdish province of Diyarbakir on Wednesday imposed an indefinite curfew effective immediately as of 4 p.m. local time on at least 116 villages and hamlets, citing an imminent military offensive against Kurdish fighters seeking autonomy.

The Ankara-appointed governor’s office said in a press release that the operation zone covered an area falling in the northern districts of Lice, Hazro, Kulp, Silvan, and Kocakoy, a region several thousand kilometers-square large.

People were told to stay indoors at all times indefinitely until a second order.

The mountainous terrain on the provincial borders of Bingol historically serves Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) guerrillas as a sanctuary.

Since the 2015 collapse of a ceasefire and peace talks between the group labeled by Ankara and its Western allies as “terrorists,” the Turkish army has scores of times conducted large-scale operations to bring the mountains under its full control.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder about the timing here, with vast scores of Turkish groups in Syria, attempting to nibble off a little bit of the country, due to the instability brought about through the US aiding and abetting the terrorists here.

Pro-Saudi Troops Seize Main Roads Into Yemen’s Port City of Hodeidah

Saudi-backed Yemeni forces have advanced closer to the northern port city of Hodeidah, the main aid port for the northern half of the country. The port is controlled by the Shi’ite Houthi movement, and the Saudi-led forces intend to seize it.

For now, the advancing forces have seized a pair of main roads leading into the city, effectively cutting off the Houthis’ supply line into the city. This also limits the ability of transporting humanitarian aid out of the city.

As the fight over the city drags on, this is increasingly concerning. Hodeidah is the sole source of food for millions in northern Yemen, and the offensive means very little aid is getting out. If the city falls entirely, the aid is likely to stop.

This is why the UN has been pushing for a deal to stop the fighting over Hodeidah. The UN offered to take control of the city just to keep aid flowing, though the pro-Saudi side has rejected the proposal, saying they want the Houthis to unconditionally surrender.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The collective punishment of a people by denying them food, is a war crime; but apparently, the B.O.Y. (the Butcher of Yemen, aka Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman) believes that the wealthy are to be held above reproach, when they have the power to engineer the kind of genocide and brutality against the Yemeni people we have witnessed here over the past 3 years.

Iran WARNING: US tells airlines not to fly through airspace as WW3 fears rise

The advisory also warns military activities linked to the bloody conflict in Syria have been ramped across Iran's airspace.

Tensions between Tehran and Washington are running high following Donald Trump’s controversial decision to pull out of the landmark Iran nuclear deal re-introduce economic sanctions last month.

Flight Service Bureau, which provides safety information on airspace to airlines, said "without seeming alarmist", the deteriorating relationship between the US and Iran must be taken into account when planning flights in Iran's airspace.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is getting just about as serious as is a heart attack: I find myself very alarmed at these developments.

Turkey's Latest Power Grab: A Naval Base In Cyprus?

The possibility of a Turkish naval base on Cyprus does not bode well for the chances of a Cyprus reunification deal, particularly after the breakdown of the July 2017 peace talks, which were suspended when "Turkey had refused to relinquish its intervention rights on Cyprus or the presence of troops on the island."

Turkey has 30,000 soldiers stationed on Cyprus, the northern part of which it has illegally occupied since 1974.

"If Greek-Turkish tensions escalate, the possibility of another ill-timed military provocation could escalate with them... Moreover, such a conflict might open up an even greater opportunity for Russian interference." - Lawrence A. Franklin.

White House Threatens Military Response Against Iran-Backed Militias in Iraq

Iraq may once again, for the first time in nearly a decade, become a theater of US-Iran confrontation according to a White House statement published Tuesday evening.

“The United States will hold the regime in Tehran accountable for any attack that results in injury to our personnel or damage to United States government facilities,” press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a written statement posted to WhiteHouse.gov. “America will respond swiftly and decisively in defense of American lives.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ms. Sanders, forgive me please, but one quick question; has Muktada Al Sadr, a Shiite Muslim cleric now in leadership in the Iraqi Parliament, gotten the message?!?

Ms. Sanders, do you remember this guy?!? He was the one stating that if the US overstayed the SOFA agreement with Iraq by one second, that all American troops would be "fair game" for his Madhi Army to attack. He is still in touch with the military leaders of that paramilitary outfit, and could "bring the band back together" very quickly.

There are also conversations about the Iraqi government completely dropping the dollar in its trade with Iran; would that have anything to do with these threats, and re-destabilizing Iraq, in order to place a US-centric politician at the helm here, and get Al Sadr out ?!?

IF you are honest, the short answer would be, "HELL, yes!!"

US Army Orders Emergency Fix on Apache Chopper's Rotor Blades

Aviation units within the US Army have been conducting an emergency retrofit to AH-64E Apache helicopters since June in order to make sure that fasteners on rotor blades are not defective, it was revealed this week.

According to Military.com, officials ordered the move after concerns sprung up earlier this year that bad weather and salt in coastal areas could cause "strap pack nuts" on rotary blades to wear out faster than normal. It was previously reported in February that technicians were inspecting choppers before and after flights.

Another Coalition Strike On Yemen Civilian Bus Occurs The Same Day US Affirms It Stands By Saudis

Just as the U.S. in typical fashion continues lecturing countries like Syria, Russia, and Iran over severe human rights violations, including allegations of everything from launching barrel bomb strikes on civilian areas in Idlib to chemical weapons attacks to sensational spy poisoning ops in the U.K., the Saudi-US coalition in Yemen has attacked another bus full of children and civilians in Yemen.

On Wednesday multiple Yemeni journalists reporting from on the ground confirmed a new airstrike resulting in mass civilian casualties, this time a Saudi-US coalition strike scored a direct hit on a bus station in besieged Hodeidah City.

The strike occurred the same day Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Secretary of Defense James Mattis announced they've certified the legality of US assistance to the coalition in Yemen before Congress.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mattis and Pompeo has just certified that the US is completely to be held harmless and indemnified for assisting the Saudis slaughter innocent civilians in Yemen.

I would like to politely suggest to both men, that yes, the arms sales, encouraged by our very own Merchant of Death in-Chief, President Trump, have been through the roof, and the makers of those weapons have a very great bottom line right now.

But at what moral cost to this country, in aiding and abetting Saudi war crimes in Yemen?!?

As a Christian pacifist activist, I will continue to witness to this Saudi genocide in Yemen, and call it for what it is; primarily war crimes against civilians, pure and simple.

And gentlemen, characterizing these US military actions in Yemen as "legal" does not make them a morally correct choice for this government. And it may well backfire against the US government, and in a splendidly spectacular manner.

US Destroyer Enters Mediterranean As Syria Tensions Build; Carrier On Standby

An American battleship, the USS Bulkeley destroyer, has reportedly entered the Mediterranean and is headed for Syria, equipped with over 50 Tomahawk missiles. This deployment comes after previous reports of the attack submarine USS Newport News (SSN-750) arriving in the Mediterranean, and after the arrival Tuesday of A U.S. Marine Corps small attack carrier full of F-35B stealth jets, the USS Essex, in the Middle East region as detailed by the military website, Task and Purpose.

The Russian news agency Interfax now reports that American forces in the region possess up to 200 Tomahawk cruise missiles available to strike targets in Syria if ordered to do so.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, it is really looking to me that a US attack is definitely on regarding Syria; perhaps not today, but in the very near-term.

This is an awful lot of hardware to preposition without being quite ready to use it, and my sense, as ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid of President Trump to order a strike in Syria, which most probably means hot combat against Russian troops as well, that this will happen soon, and my guess is, it will be ordered later this month, to give him traction through the Mid-term elections.

‘Credit Card Wars’: Pentagon Grossly Underestimates Cost of Post-9/11 Wars

The Pentagon estimates that the cost of war since the fateful terror attacks on 9/11 rounds out to $1.5 trillion, yet experts maintain that this figure wildly underestimates the true financial burden of perpetual war.

"After 16 years, should the taxpayers of America be satisfied we are in a ‘stalemate?' I don't think so," the late Sen. John McCain said in 2017.

Video: Washington Claims That Assad Government Wants to Bomb Schools, Hospitals and Homes in Idlib under the Guise of Counter-Terrorism

The US-led propaganda campaign against the Syrian-Iranian-Russian alliance has reached a new level as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is openly preparing to kick of a ground assault on terrorist groups in northwestern Syria.

During a September 7 UN Security Council briefing, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley stated that

“when Russia and the Assad regime say they want to counter terrorism, they actually mean they want to bomb schools, hospitals, and homes. They want to punish the civilians who had the courage to rise up against Assad.” She further stated that “the Assad regime” must halt an offensive in Idlib because it will undermine “peace talks”.

“We consider any assault on Idlib to be a dangerous escalation of the conflict in Syria. If Assad, Russia, and Iran continue, the consequences will be dire,” Haley said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, Ambassador Haley; but is this not precisely what the US military is assisting the Saudis in doing in Yemen, in their war crimes against innocent Yemenis?!?

Images: Yemeni kids assassinated, with US assistance, by the Saudi Military

I do not blame the Syrian government for wanting to retake Idlib; these nonsensical statements of yours, are simply the premise for the US government's "justification" for fighting both Russian and Iranian military, which have been instrumental in beating the rebels back.

I would like to politely suggest that war against Russia and Iran in Syria may not be the highest or best use of American military resources in this case.

And here's a companion piece by Phil Giraldi, from globalresearch.ca:

Target Syria: Will a New War be the Next "October Surprise?!?

I frankly don't think the current administration can wait for October before going into Syria, with fighters and weapons blazing, because of a concern about a potential rout of Republicans in the coming midterms.

Washington Quietly Increases Lethal Weapons to Ukraine

For all of the loose (frequently hysterical) talk in Congress, the foreign policy community, and the news media about President Donald Trump’s alleged eagerness to appease Vladimir Putin, U.S. policy remains as confrontational as ever toward Russia.

Among other actions, the Trump administration has involved U.S. forces in NATO military exercises (war games) in Poland and other East European countries on Russia’s border, as well as in naval maneuvers in the Black Sea near Russia’s sensitive naval base at Sevastopol. Washington has even sent U.S. troops as participants in joint military exercises with Ukrainian forces—an act that Moscow considers especially provocative, given its tense relations with Kiev.

On no issue is the administration’s risky course more evident than its military policy toward Ukraine. Recent measures are certain to provoke Moscow further, and entangle the United States to an unwise extent with an extremely murky, ideologically troubling Ukrainian regime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To President Trump and his Cabinet; a war against Russia, into which the US Government and military, are nearly inextricably going to be drawn, is a very, very bad idea right now, and I say this because the US military doesn't have the money; the weapons; the troop strength; or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia.

It would go nuclear, very very quickly, and the results of such a war could result in both horrific... and irreversible destruction of life as we know it on Planet Earth, with very few exceptions.

Sep 11 11:43

Is Trump Going Neocon in Syria?

Is Trump ready to order U.S. action against Russian and Syrian forces if Assad gives his army the green light to take Idlib? For the bombing of Idlib has already begun.

What makes this more than an academic exercise is that Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, at a meeting in Tehran last Friday, told President Erdogan of Turkey that the reconquest of Idlib is going forward.

Erdogan fears that the Syrian army’s recapture of Idlib would send hundreds of thousands more refugees streaming to his border.

Turkey already hosts millions of refugees from Syria’s civil war.

Yet the massing of the Syrian army near Idlib and the Russian and Syrian bombing now begun suggest that the Assad-Putin-Rouhani coalition has decided to accept the risk of a clash with the Americans in order to bring an end to the rebellion. If so, this puts the ball in America’s court.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The short answer to the rhetorical question posed as the title of this article is, unfortunately, "HELL, yes!!"

US Reportedly Reinforces Base in E Syria Amid Looming Idlib Offensive

On September 10, the Fars News Agency reported that the US sent two convoys consisting of ten trucks loaded with logistics and military equipment to the country's al-Susah base in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor province, controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The media platform said, citing local sources that Washington had also sent another convoy consisting of 100 trucks loaded with military equipment from Iraq to unspecified Syrian territories controlled by the SDF, via the Simalka border crossing.

Task & Purpose previously reported that the US had sent over 100 US Marines to reinforce the military base in al-Tanf, Syria. Newly deployed forces will take part in live ammunition military drills, which are being conducted to demonstrate the "capability to deploy rapidly, assault a target and conduct rapid exfiltration," according to US Central Command (CENTCOM).

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks as though the US war against both Russia and Syria is on; the only question is, how long past the false-flag chemical attack, which will probably be all over the presstitute corporate media in the next couple of days, will President Trump wait to give the command to attack.

Unfortunately, for this country, doing the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing it could do, is no guarantee that the US government won't do it; a US attack against Idlib, which most probably means a military confrontation with Russia, being my case in point here.

INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT UNFAZED BY US THREATS OF SANCTIONS OVER AFGHAN WAR CRIMES PROBE

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has said it will “continue to do its work undeterred,” after US National Security Advisor John Bolton threatened sanctions if the tribunal investigates alleged US war crimes in Afghanistan.
The Hague-based court investigates genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes and is backed by 123 countries - but not by China and the US.

“The ICC, as a court of law, will continue to do its work undeterred, in accordance with those principles and the overarching idea of the rule of law,” it said in a statement on Tuesday.

The tribunal’s remarks came in response to a scathing verbal attack launched by Bolton in Washington DC on Monday during a speech to the conservative Federalist Society.

“Today, on the eve of September 11th, I want to deliver a clear and unambiguous message on behalf of the president,” Bolton began, before launching into the blistering offensive against the ICC.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Look folks; I hate to be the one to break it to you, but post-9/11, but if you are an American citizen, you are a citizen of one country in this world which consistently commits war crimes, and tortures, and does this right into the present day.

Not only does this country torture; it supports other countries which do, like Egypt and Saudi Arabia. In fact, the US government, as I input this, is committing war crimes in the country of Yemen, by enabling Saudi war crimes of assassination and genocide by direct air strikes against children and innocent civilians; creating starvation by assisting the Saudis in blockading Yemen's ports; and spreading cholera (potentially weaponized), as the US has done by assisting their Saudi brethren in destroying Yemen's water infrastructure.

And to John Bolton, who made this egregious statement yesterday, I will tell you this to your face; I am a Christian pacifist activist, who will continue to witness to this country's human rights foul-ups, bleeps, blunders, and war crimes, and will never advocate war as the way to achieve my country's geopolitical goals, which are all about controlling the world's resources, and insuring that those resources are only sold in the US dollar.

You, sir, are that kind of execrable moral deviant who will scream from the rooftops that the horrors of Abu Ghraib never happened, and have never found a potential war you didn't champion, and now, you are screaming that torture in Afghanistan never happened, when you know it did, and that, sir, is just the point.

I absolutely support the ICC in their investigation of war crimes perpetrated by American soldiers in Afghanistan: this never should have happened.

We both understand what torture is meant to do, which is not to extract any actionable information; it is for the sake of extracting spectacular "confessions", with which to further the US government's narrative.

I would like to politely remind you, sir, that during World War II, there was a German interrogator by the name of Hanns Scharff, Hanns Scharff: Wikipedia who never, ever tortured American or British soldiers on his watch; he did the polar opposite, and even invited them out on day passes for cultural events, because he understood that if he could get them at ease, they might let something slip which would be highly useful. He was so respected by the Americans that at the end of the war, he was invited to teach his techniques to American interrogators.

And Mr. Bolton, one last reflection; when the US government and/or military tortures, or signs off on torture, it has done two things. First, it demonstrates, in a way for all the world to see, that the US government honors its alleged commitment to the rule of law, human dignity, and the humane treatment of prisoners of war in the breach, but not in any real moral observance.

And secondly, it gives carte blanche for any country ruler who doesn't particularly like the US, to do the same to both American citizens and military members.

Mr. Bolton, this nation, at the highest levels of its government, needs to come clean on these kinds of horrific practices, like torture, and work steadfastly and diligently to never do them again.

Osamagate

“Now the Taliban will pay a price” vowed President George W. Bush, as American and British fighter planes unleashed missile attacks against major cities in Afghanistan. The US Administration claims that Osama bin Laden is behind the tragic events of the 11th of September. A major war supposedly “against international terrorism” has been launched [October 2001], yet the evidence amply confirms that agencies of the US government have since the Cold War harbored the “Islamic Militant Network” as part of Washington’s foreign policy agenda. In a bitter irony, the US Air Force is targeting the training camps established in the 1980s by the CIA.

U.S. Army fudged its accounts by trillions of dollars, auditor finds

The United States Army’s finances are so jumbled it had to make trillions of dollars of improper accounting adjustments to create an illusion that its books are balanced.

The Defense Department’s Inspector General, in a June report, said the Army made $2.8 trillion in wrongful adjustments to accounting entries in one quarter alone in 2015, and $6.5 trillion for the year. Yet the Army lacked receipts and invoices to support those numbers or simply made them up.

As a result, the Army’s financial statements for 2015 were “materially misstated,” the report concluded. The “forced” adjustments rendered the statements useless because “DoD and Army managers could not rely on the data in their accounting systems when making management and resource decisions.”

Bolton Warns Next Chemical Attack By Assad Will Lead To Much Stronger Strike On Syria

Update: Trump's national security advisor John Bolton indicated during a speech on Monday that the United States, Britain, and France have agreed that another use of chemical weapons by Syria would be taken "very seriously" and will require a much "stronger" and harsher response.

Dion Nissenbaum
?
@DionNissenbaum

Trump’s NSC head John Bolton warns Syria that US, France and Britain will hit Assad harder than last two times if he uses chemical weapons in looming battle for last major rebel stronghold in Idlib.

His remarks came during what's being described as his first major speech since joining the Trump administration at an event hosted by the conservative Federalist Society at a Washington, D.C., hotel.

Meanwhile Turkey has also weighed in regarding the ongoing Russian and Syrian allied assault on Al Qaeda-held Idlib, which began days ago when Russia initiated a bombing campaign ahead of an imminent and massive Syrian Army ground offensive.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When the faux chemical attack is complete in Syria, with lots of sympathetic PR, to underscore what a "monster" Al Assad is, the Trump Administration is not even going to WAIT for the overnight polls to come in to see if the public is buying it or not, but will move ahead quickly with a major US attack in Idlib.

I would like to hope (and pray) that his Advisors have told him that threats by the Russian government... are just as serious as is a heart attack, should he order this to happen.

Moscow Has Upped the Ante in Syria

MEMORANDUM FOR: The President

FROM: Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity

SUBJECT: Moscow Has Upped the Ante in Syria

Mr. President:

We are concerned that you may not have been adequately briefed on the upsurge of hostilities in northwestern Syria, where Syrian armed forces with Russian support have launched a full-out campaign to take back the al-Nusra/al-Qaeda/ISIS-infested province of Idlib. The Syrians will almost certainly succeed, as they did in late 2016 in Aleppo. As in Aleppo, it will mean unspeakable carnage, unless someone finally tells the insurgents theirs is a lost cause.

Demonization of Middle East Leaders Prior to Invasion and “Regime Change”. Trump’s Iran Policy

1. The US Iran policy aims at nothing but conflict-building followed by economic, political and military violence

From all the remarks made by President Donald Trump and his senior officials, it is clear that the United States is trying to manufacture another regime change in the Middle East, this time in Iran.

It does so by making use of the tried and tested tactic of demonising Iranian rulers and the Iranian people and by finding false pretences and pretexts for implementing their destructive goals.

We have already had an inkling of these tactics by Trump’s withdrawal from the nuclear deal and his allegation that Iran has not been abiding by the terms of that deal, despite clear evidence of Iranian compliance provided by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is in charge of inspecting and certifying Iran’s compliance.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would suspect, after issuing the entire world a "drop dead date" edict regarding its purchasing oil from Iran, President Trump and the administration have something militarily spectacular planned for that date or thereabout concerning Iran, and that date happens to be Sunday, 4 November; two days away from midterm elections in the US.

Sep 10 11:36

How the U.S. Does Propaganda

A typical example was on NPR’s “Weekend Edition Saturday,” on September 8th, when the program-host Scott Simon interviewed the Obama Administration’s diplomat Robert Malley, in a segment titled “What’s Next In The Syrian War: Idlib”.

Simon’s introduction said:

“After this weekend, the last contested region of Syria may come under ferocious attack. After more than seven years of fighting, the end of the Syrian war may come down to Idlib province. … It holds more than 3 million people, many of whom have been displaced. It’s been essentially a kind of dumping ground for those opposed to Bashar al-Assad’s regime and ISIS.”

Actually, there’s a factual problem with Simon’s lead-in there. Though I have seen official estimates of the population of Idlib ranging from 1.5 million to 3 million, I haven’t seen any of “more than 3 million people.” Mr. Simon is always happy to please his CIA minders, and might simply have gotten carried away in this interview.

Pompeo’s Fingerprints Are All Over Trump’s New Syria Regime Change Policy

The reason given for the dramatic change in policy was the administration’s recent decision to “redefine” its goals in the Syrian conflict, resulting in the emergence of “the exit of all Iranian military and proxy forces from Syria” as the administration’s top priority, effectively overshadowing the U.S.’ long-stated goal of rooting out terror groups like Daesh (ISIS). The shift is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to target Iranian influence in the region while simultaneously attempting to provoke regime change in Iran through the use of aggressive sanctions and other covert means.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The explosive issue which both Pompeo and Bolton seem to want to ignore here is the following: IF the US maintains its illegally captured space in Syria, and starts attacking Syrian, Iranian, or Russian troops in Syria (remember: the Russians and Iranians were INVITED by the Syrian government, but the US military was NOT), how long before US troops wind up in a shooting war against Russian, Iranian, and Syrian forces?!?

Logic tells me, not too long at all.

So if this "faux" chemical weapons attack happens, I have to wonder just how long it will be before the US declares war on Russia, Syria, and Iran?!?

Logic tells me, not long at all; the US and its allies cannot wait for logic-centric Americans ask themselves the question; why would al-Assad use chemical poisoning against his own people, when he as almost completely gutted the country of US-backed rebels?!? The short, logical answer is, he would not.

For all those who read this blog, who have family in the US military, this question is far from academic.

New US Navy Military Exercises in Persian Gulf as Regional Tensions Rise

This month, the US Navy is conducting exercises it claims will guarantee freedom of movement through Persian Gulf and Red Sea waterways, as Iran threatens to obstruct shopping through key maritime positions.

US 5th Fleet Theater Counter Mine and Maritime Security Exercise Commander Scott A. Stearney recently told reporters in Manama that the exercises, which involve both regional and global allies, "illustrate that the US and our partners stand ready to ensure the freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce wherever international law allows," Bloomberg reported Sunday.

One of the US Navy exercises is occurring in Djibouti, a known choke point for global shipping at the southern end of the Red Sea.

In early July, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) held large-scale military drills in the Persian Gulf. The IRGC said at the time that they were ready to disrupt other countries' oil shipments through the strait if Iran's own exports were impeded.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is nothing more, or less, than a blatant, "in your face" provocation against the Iranian government, which I hope will have the horse-sense not to respond in kind.

TWO KILLED AFTER ARMED MILITANTS STORM LIBYA’S STATE OIL CORPORATION HQ IN TRIPOLI

Two workers at Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) have been killed after a militant attack on the company’s headquarters in Tripoli on Monday, according to local law enforcement. They say two of the attackers were also killed.
"The death toll so far is two killed from NOC staff and two attackers," Ahmed Ben Salim, a spokesman for the Special Deterrence Force, told Reuters.

Earlier on Monday, witnesses reported hearing explosions and gunfire, with smoke rising from close to the NOC offices. Security officials said they were attempting to deal with militants attacking the building.

Security forces took up positions around the offices in central Tripoli, while surrounding roads were cordoned off. Witnesses said they saw ambulances leaving the site. A member of staff from a hotel next to the NOC offices said that he had heard around five blasts.

REBELS RAMP UP CIVILIAN ATTACKS, INCUR HEAVY LOSSES IN IDLIB

At the request of Damascus, Russia assisted Syrian forces in launching several airstrikes across the territory in the northern Al-Ghab plain starting Saturday morning and continuing through Sunday afternoon.

The Syrian Army successfully destroyed an ammunition depot and armored vehicle belonging to the Al-Ezza brigades in the Kafr Zita countryside as they struck various hideouts and locations of Jabhat al-Nusra and their allies Sunday. According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a state media news agency, the army unit also successfully destroyed shelling launching pads belonging to the brigade, where terrorists would launch shells towards residential areas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That false flag chemical attack, to be blamed on Syria, is most likely coming, and soon, because the rebels are doing so poorly in holding their ground in Idlib that they cannot get a foothold against Syrian and Russian troops and airstrikes.

The chemical attack, prophesied at the UN by our "Miss Cleo Wannabe", US Representative Nikki Haley, will most likely happen this week.

Russia has already stated, through diplomatic channels, that it intends to hold exercises and attacks very close to where US troops are stationed (illegally) in Syria.

Let me say this again; the US government and military have invaded a sovereign country, which did not ask them to assist in fighting the rebels, (they asked for Russian and Iranian assistance for this), and is looking to establish a "foothold" in the country from which they can plot regime change in Damascus, and control Syria's oil.

The big question is, how long before Russia and the US wind up in direct, hot conflict in Syria?!?

I don't know what the odds the bookies in Vegas are giving on the such a confrontation; my gut is telling me, however, this will be happening very soon.

The Trump Whitehouse wants this country in a major war against....some major alleged "enemy" recently well-demonized in what passes for American "journalism", and Russia will do nicely here, well before the mid-terms.

The American Electorate are very skittish about changing the nature and composition of their government mid war.

And please remember the "drop dead date" by which President Trump has declared to the world that it can no longer buy Iranian oil; Sunday, 4 November, two days before the mid-term elections in this country. I would expect something very dramatic from the Trump Administration against Iran on, or right near, that deadline, and the date of these primaries.

US warplanes drop phosphorous bombs on Syria: Russia

American warplanes reportedly drop phosphorous bombs on a village in the eastern Syria province of Dayr al-Zawr.

Vladimir Savchenko, the chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, announced the development on Sunday, Russia’s ITAR-TASS news agency reported.

"On September 8, 2018, two F-15 warplanes of the US air force delivered airstrikes on the settlement of Hajin with the use of phosphorous bombs. The airstrikes caused heavy fires. Information about casualties and damages is being verified," he said.

“The Russian reconciliations center warned that the use of munitions containing yellow phosphorus is prohibited by an additional protocol to the Geneva Convention of 1949,” the agency added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

TERRORISTS & WHITE HELMETS MET IN IDLIB TO PREP FOR FINAL STAGE FALSE FLAG CHEM ATTACK – RUSSIAN MOD

The Russian military has obtained “irrefutable” data that terrorist groups, including Jabhat an-Nusra, and the infamous White Helmets met in Idlib province on Sunday, according to the ministry’s spokesperson Igor Konashenkov.
The militants plotted the final scenarios for the chemical attacks that the Syrian army are expected to make in the cities of Jisr ash-Shugur, Serakab, Taftanaz and Sarmin, the Russian military revealed.

“Full readiness of all participants involved in the staging of the provocations is be ensured by the evening of September 8,”Konashenkov stated. He added that the terrorists are to receive a “special” signal from some “foreign friends of Syrian revolution” to launch the operation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, folks, today's date... is 8 September, and I would imagine that such a false flag is now imminent, either for tomorrow, insuring its maximum US presstitute coverage into next week, as the "justification" for a US attack, or shortly thereafter.

And when I am more inclined to believe the credibility of a foreign news outlet in English than I am the presstitutes and waresspondents here in the US's alleged "media", it is because I have been lied to too many times by the US media to find it at all credible, except occasionally for the weather or sports events' outcomes.
