US Defense Secretary: No Cooperation With Russians Possible as Long as They Target Al-Qaeda

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Wednesday the U.S.-led coalition has not agreed to cooperate with Russia in the fight against the Islamic State and no collaboration is possible as long as Moscow continues to strike other targets. He said the U.S. will conduct basic, technical talks with Russia about efforts to ensure that flights over Syria are conducted safely, and, “That's it.” Carter spoke during a press conference in Rome with Italian Defense Minister Roberta Pinotti. A Russian official has called for broader talks on cooperation in the Syrian conflict. The United States, Carter said, is not prepared to cooperate with a strategy of Russia's that is “tragically flawed.” “They continue to hit targets that are not ISIL,” Carter said, using an acronym for the Islamic State group. “We believe that is a fundamental mistake.” Carter said he is concerned about the Syrian ground offensive that began Wednesday backed by Russian airpower.

In Florida, Trump finds favor with 28 percent of Republican primary voters, a new Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll found. Former neurosurgeon Ben Carson comes in with 16 percent; Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 14 percent; and former Florida governor Jeb Bush, 12 percent. Bush is a former governor of the state and Rubio serves as one of its U.S. senators.

And in Ohio, it’s Trump again who is tops, 23 percent to next-in-line Carson’s 18 percent. Ohio’s popular governor, John Kasich, doesn’t even touch Trump’s lead, coming in with 13 percent.

And in Pennsylvania – it’s more Trump. The billionaire businessman leads the pack at 23 percent, with second-place Carson holding a 17 percent share. Rubio rounds out the third-place slot with 12 percent. Even Rick Santorum, a Pennsylvania home-towner, only nets 2 percent of the vote.

BEX ALERT - Will The Discovery Of Huge Amounts Of Oil In Israel Lead To War In The Middle East?

Billions of barrels of oil have been discovered in Israel, and this discovery could essentially make Israel energy independent for many decades to come.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Slight correction here. The oil was not discovered in Israel. It was discovered in Syria, in the Golan Heights, which Israel illegally occupies in defiance of United Nations resolution. To be accurate, we should say Israel is STEALING enough oil to make it energy independent for many decades to come.

Video: Undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrate Palestinian demonstration, beat protesters and shoot detainee in leg

Undercover Israeli forces infiltrated a group of Palestinians protesters this afternoon near a checkpoint outside of Ramallah in the West Bank and opened fire on the demonstrators, wounding one. Meanwhile unformed Israeli soldiers wounded two more protesters with live rounds, critically injuring one by firing a shot into the back of the protester’s head.

Video of the incident published by journalist Ahmad Jarghoun (above) and AFP (below) reveal eight Israeli security forces dressed as protesters with their faces covered, and one with a Hamas flag. After participating in the protest confronting uniformed soldiers and throwing stones, the undercover forces suddenly drew their weapons against the Palestinian demonstrators.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Based on this, I suspect the Jerusalem stabbings are also being done by undercover Israelis.

TPP Also Locks In Broken Anti-Circumvention Rules That Destroy Your Freedoms

Another issue revealed in the New Zealand announcement is that the TPP will similarly lock in an anti-circumvention clause. In the US, we have a really problematic anti-circumvention law in Section 1201 of the DMCA, which says it's against the law to circumvent "technological protection measures" even if for reasons that are perfectly legal and non-infringing. This has created a huge mess that threatens innovation in all sorts of problematic ways. It takes away our freedom to tinker with devices that we own. It also makes it illegal to do things that pretty much everyone agrees should be perfectly legal.

Syrian opposition leader admits Russian attacks target only terrorists

It has been reported that Syrian rebels are ready to unite with the official army of the country to show resistance to Islamist militants. According to Sputnik news agency, the leader of the Syrian opposition, Qadri Jamil, said that the so-called "Free Syrian Army" was not a terrorist group and was therefore ready to join the forces of Bashar Assad to oppose the Islamic State and Al-Nusra Jabhat radicals. Additionally, Jamil stressed out that the Russian Air Force did not bomb the Syrin opposition. According to the leader of the Syrian opposition, Russia bombs the terrorists, who refer to themselves as "moderate Syrian opposition." International experts do not believe that the Syrian radicals, who kill civilians, can be "moderate." The phenomenon of this kind of opposition in Syria raises big question in the world. Moreover, NATO Secretary-General does not know any names of the leaders of the "moderate" forces in Syria.

Pentagon outraged: Russians intercept US drones above Syria

A specialized military publication confirmed in 2014 that Russian anti-aircraft troops forced a US military drone to land during the time of the Crimean crisis and referendum in March 2014. "The Ukrainian side tried to organize aerial reconnaissance above the Crimea with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. The latter were part of the 66th military reconnaissance brigade headquartered in Bavaria, Germany, and deployed in Kirovograd, Ukraine. Yet, neither the US nor Ukraine managed to keep the Crimea and Russia's Black Sea Navy under control. "As a result if the measures taken, two Israeli-made unmanned drones, MQ-5B Hunter, were intercepted. One of them was downed by militia forces on March 10, another one was forced to land with the help of a Russian ground-based radio technical reconnaissance system Avtobaza," Russian military officials said. Earlier, the bureau of journalistic investigation reported that in sixty percent of cases, US drones attack and bomb buildings.

America Pivots to Brzezinski’s Delusion of Eurasian Conquest

Russia historian Stephen Cohen points to the neoconservative establishment for America's latest outbreak of what can only be referred to as late-stage imperial dementia. Neocons Robert Kagan and wife Victoria Nuland have certainly done the heavy lifting to make Ukraine the staging ground for what appears to be a NATO blitzkrieg on Moscow. But whatever the determination of the neocon plot, they are only the barking dogs of master imperialist Zbigniew Brzezinski, whose grand design has been creeping over the globe since he stepped into the Oval office as National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter in 1977.

NATO to deploy troops in Turkey, Turkey to break gas contract with Russia

According to Stoltenberg, the NATO army may appear in Turkey to protect the country from threats coming from the south. The statement was made against the background of reports of violation of Turkish airspace by Russian fighter jets. According to Stoltenberg, NATO is ready to protect all of its allies, including Turkey, from any threats. He added that the Russian operation in Syria was a "cause for concern". Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that he could terminate the natural gas contract with Russia, thus causing Russia significant damage. According to Erdogan, Russia's explanations about the incidents with fighter jets were not convincing. Noteworthy, the Turkish Air Force has repeatedly invaded Greek airspace.

New mystery Windows-smashing RAT found in corporate network

Malware man Yotam Gottesman has found a somewhat mysterious remote access Trojan on a corporate network that sports highly capable evasion techniques.

Bypassed security systems includes antivirus, user access control, and virtual machines.

"As opposed to more common malware such as bank Trojans, ransomware, and PoS scrapers, this advanced persistent threat hooked into the operating system in order to appear as a legitimate OS process and to access system-wide settings," Gottesman says.

Fake Al Qaeda

"The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. More than 1,000 Taliban fighters concentrated on Tajik-Afghan border — security officer

"Over the recent time, we have been witnessing movement of armed groups, mostly from Taliban, in the Badakhshan /Pamir/ direction of the Tajik-Afghan border," the source said, adding that their numbers exceeded 1,000 gunmen. "According to operational data of our Afghan colleagues, Taliban groups control a sizable part of Afghan settlements on the border with Tajikistan and they keep moving closer to the border, which cannot but alarm Dushanbe," the source added. Focusing on the situation in another Afghan province bordering on Tajikistan, Kunduz, he said a trench war and sporadic shootouts between Afghan government troops and Taliban fighters have continued there after Taliban seized the administrative center on September 29.

ASU asks fans to avoid the use of face paint at games

Days before the Arizona State Sun Devils are set to host the Colorado Buffaloes at their annual "Blackout" game at Sun Devil Stadium, the university asked students to avoid using face paint at all sporting events hosted by the university.

Last year, a group of African-American ASU students objected to fans' usage of black face paint during ASU's Blackout game vs. UCLA, noting that the paint reminded them of "blackface" worn by actors in the 19th century that perpetuated racial stereotypes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More political correctness run amok. Black is the school color. The sports fans wearing the black facepaint are wearing it for a sports event. But because someone, somewhere, has a bad association with it, face paint is now banned.

There are way too many people running around this nation whose entire sense of self-worth is based on being offended by everything they see, and no shortage of politically correct politicians willing to exploit these useless idiots to create more pointless rules with which to interfere with our lives and freedoms.

Moscow calls on London to strengthen stability in EU, not to send troops to Baltic States

"We talked about it many times. Steps on relocating armed forces in Europe should contribute to strengthening common European security and stability," Zakharova said. "It is a big question whether such steps will strengthen security and why they are taken," she added. "Everything connected with such actions should serve only one purpose — strengthening, not undermining stability in the region," Zakharova stressed. Commenting on the statement made by UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon on plans to send troops to the Baltic states to prevent possible provocations by Russia, Peskov said: "It is a far-fetched pretext that was voiced about the alleged threat coming from Russia. This is precisely the camouflage that NATO uses to cover up its plans to further expand toward our borders." "This is not new, the process has been underway for dozens of years," the spokesman said. "This cannot be anything but regrettable," he added.

The Kremlin spokesman added that "this cooperation was mutually beneficial and was in the interests of the peoples in the two countries." He noted that the military operation in Syria helped to ensure security on Turkey’s borders, something which the US-led coalition’s bombing raids failed to achieve. "As for Russia’s actions in Syria, these actions are intended to promote the preservation of Syria’s territorial and political integrity, thus contributing to stability and security in the region, which, in fact, is adjacent to Turkey’s borders," Peskov said.

Ukraine military refuses to withdraw artillery from Luhansk region

A Ukrainian military spokesman on Thursday announced Kiev’s refusal to withdraw artillery from the eastern Luhansk region despite agreement last week to extend a pull-back of weapons in the country’s war-torn east. Vladislav Seleznev, spokesman for the Ukrainian General Staff, demanded that an extraordinary meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the Ukraine crisis be convened, noting that: "Ukraine’s senior military-political leadership will take a decision on withdrawal of artillery in the Luhansk region after the Contact Group’s extraordinary session." The Contact Group brings together senior representatives from Ukraine, Russia and European security watchdog OSCE. Ukrainian officials said the reason for calling the Contact Group’s extraordinary meeting was Wednesday’s shelling of the Troitskoye settlement in east Ukraine's Donbas region allegedly by local republican militia forces firing an anti-tank guided missile and wounding four soldiers.

Obama avoids a showdown in Syria

Administration officials game out options to respond to Putin's provocations, but Obama exercises "strategic patience."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama just blinked on Syria, and no doubt will be called a coward by the warhawks like John McCain.

But Obama is dealing with the reality that the US is militarily and economically exhausted. Stockpiles have been drawn down by 12 years of invading other countries. The US' older weapons are now worn out, and the newer weapons are costly pieces of bloated junk. The US is not the manufacturing powerhouse that allowed it to prevail in WW1 and WW2. And the US has lost the support of the American people for any more war, against anyone, anywhere.

In contrast, Russia's economy, although battered by the US sanctions and oil price war, is strong. Their weapons are in good repair, their stockpiles full. Russia's newest weapons out-perform their US counterparts while costing substantially less. Because of the US sanctions, Russia has been reviving its domestic manufacturing. And Putin has the support of the Russian people (and people around the world) to halt the US aggression. The US cannot win a conventional war against Russia, which means that the US will resort to their nuclear arsenal. After all, despite the propaganda about Iraq's nuclear weapons and Iran's nuclear weapons, the only nation to actually use nuclear weapons against the civilians of another country is ... the United States!

On Jews and Criminality

The Jewish Chronicle revealed today that the “number of Jews in prison has increased by 82 per cent since 2002, nearly four times more than the national rate.” The most common crimes Jews were convicted of were violence against another person, sex offences and drugs.

But, some good news - according to Rabbi Michael Binstock, director of Jewish Prison Chaplaincy, “the figures undermined the stereotype that Jewish offenders were more likely to be guilty of so-called white-collar crimes.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Paris shares ideas of joint fight against ISIS, but insists on President al-Assad's resignation

France is ready for joint efforts and dialogue on Syria with all sides, but it continues to insist on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's resignation as a preliminary condition for settling the crisis in the country, French government spokesman Stephane Le Foll has said.

"If we want to effectively fight against ISIS (Islamic State), we ought to nip this evil in the bud: a political transition is needed that will clearly show to the Syrian people that Assad is not Syria's future," Le Foll said in an interview with Interfax on Oct. 8.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So ... according to the French, the best way to get rid of ISIS in Syria is to get rid of ISIS' main enemy in Syria, indeed the only reason ISIS is even in Syria, right? On October 3, a U.S. AC-130 gunship attacked a hospital run by Médecins Sans Frontières in Kunduz, Afghanistan, partially destroying it. Twelve staff members and 10 patients, including three children, were killed, and 37 people were injured. According to MSF, the U.S. had previously been informed of the hospital’s precise location, and the attack continued for 30 minutes after staff members desperately called the U.S. military. The U.S. first claimed the hospital had been “collateral damage” in an airstrike aimed at “individuals” elsewhere who were “threatening the force.” Since then, various vague and contradictory explanations have been offered by the U.S. and Afghan governments, both of which promise to investigate the bombing. MSF has called the attack a war crime and demanded an independent investigation by a commission set up under the Geneva Conventions.

Russian Allies Are Already Wiping the Floor with ISIS

These days you have to be skeptical of every piece of information that you come across, especially if it comes from a mainstream Western news source. Of course, foreign news outlets aren’t immune from fudging the truth either. At the end of the day, everyone has an agenda, and you have to trust your gut until multiple sources come to the same conclusion. And when it comes to the war in Syria, nobody is completely innocent, so we have to take everything with a grain of salt until all the facts are in.

With that said, we’re not going to get anywhere near the truth with the Western media until the truth becomes undeniable. If we want to get an idea of what’s happening on the ground in Syria right now, and how effective the Russian airstrikes have really been, we have turn to foreign news sources.

So far the earliest reports are coming out of the Iranian news website known as Farsnews. If their reports are anywhere near the truth, then the Syrian insurgency is on the ropes.

Afghan conflict showed harmfulness of media wars — military academy chief

"During the Iraqi, and especially the Libyan conflict, an efficient program was tested and implemented in practice to remove from power regimes that don’t fit within the political concept of world structure developed by American ruling circles". Between 1979 and 1989, the United States, other countries and the Afghan opposition widely used disinformation aimed against the then USSR and the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, which included such conceptual blocs as "threat to Islam from the atheistic Kabul government", "genocide against the Afghan people from Soviet troops" as well as "protection of human rights and freedoms" and others. "As a result, the Soviet Union was discredited and presented as aggressor in the eyes of a sizable part of the global community," Makarov said. "But the main result of the information war unleashed by Western countries was a growing scope of the internal armed conflict (in Afghanistan)," he said.

Answering a question about the alleged redeployment of Iranian troops, he said, "Wrong. We haven’t changed the nature of our presence in Syria. It continues to be military advisers, and no more. Actually, I checked, and I made sure that this was the case." Zarif supported Russia’s air strikes on extremists’ positions in Syria. However, he was critical of the Western coalition’s campaign against the Islamic State (IS) group. Referring to the Russian air strikes in Syria, he said, "We support anybody’s involvement against Daesh [Islamic State], provided that it’s serious."

TPP: The Secret Deal to Destroy the Last Vestiges of Freedom

The Trans-Pacific Partnership was finalized on October 5th. Now Obama is going to do his best to ram it through the US Congress, which could be deliberating for months. Although some alarm is being raised, particularly by pissed off Americans who loathe the political elite that has repeatedly sold them out, it is likely Democrats and Republicans will cave and do the bidding of the international jewish elite per usual.

Of course we have no idea what is actually contained in this secret deal, proving yet again that our “democracy” is a complete sham wherein only the moneyed elite are able to determine policy, which often completely contradicts the country’s Constitution.

‘Which side are you fighting for?’ Russia blasts US for refusing to share intel on ISIS

Washington’s failure to share data with Russian intelligence about terrorist positions in Syria makes one question the goals that Americans have in their anti-ISIS campaign in Syria and Iraq, a senior Russian diplomat has said.

The refusal to share intelligence on terrorists “just confirms once more what we knew from the very start, that the US goals in Syria have little to do with creating the conditions for a political process and national reconciliation,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Thursday.

“I would risk saying that by doing this the US and the countries that joined the US-led coalition are putting themselves in a politically dubious position. The question is: which side are you fighting for in this war?”

ISIS training militants from Russia in Afghanistan, US and UK citizens among instructors - diplomat

Islamic State is training militants from Russia in Afghanistan as part of its efforts to expand into Central Asia, a senior Russian diplomat told a security conference in Moscow. He added that US and UK passport holders are among the instructors.

“There are several camps operated by [Islamic State, previously ISIS/ISIL, in Afghanistan] that train people from Central Asia and some regions of Russia. They speak Russian there,” said Zamir Kabulov, President Putin’s special representative for Afghanistan.

He added that there is a wide national variety of instructors in those camps. There are Arabs, Pakistanis and even people with US and British citizenship, he said.
