Charlie McGrath | WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Charlie McGrath

"Charlie"

Charlie was a brother
Much more than flesh and bone
He was like no other
In manner, warmth and tone
Another fallen hero
Another voice now lost
Worth so much more than zero
As we ignore the cost

Of all the lies in history
Wars that steal from you and me
When really all that's left to see
Is just more death and misery
What will it take until we're free?
What will it take until we're free?

So now he is a memory
Not only in heart and mind
If you search you'll find the key
In his videos online
And hopefully you'll listen
For he shared his heart and soul
Of military madness and theft beyond control

From all the lies in history
Wars that steal from you and me
When really all that's left to see
Is just more death and misery
What will it take until we're free?
Look in the mirror and you will see......
What it will take until we're free

I will always be grateful, great full, to my Bro Charlie, who gave me a place on his team and in his heart. Here he is, the day before he died, which was Jan 9, 2016.
Rest in Peace Charlie! I hope we meet again.
Namaste,
Karen
