Brigitte Bardot has called actresses making claims of sexual harassment in the MeToo movement “hypocritical” - claiming many “flirt” to get roles.

The French film icon claims women then invent harassment allegations for attention.

Speaking to French magazine Paris Match, Brigitte, 83, was asked what she thought of actresses denouncing sexual harassment.

“In the vast majority of cases they are being hypocritical, ridiculous, uninteresting,” she said.
