THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

"What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires - desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, hewill scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way." -- Bertrand Russell, philosopher - "Roads to Freedom"

Iraq May Dissolve Parliament After Fist-Fights, Sit-Ins

Iraqi parliament speaker Salim al-Jabouri has issued a statement suggesting he is strongly considering dissolving the legislative body and ordering new elections amid disputes over a new cabinet, which escalated into a chaotic session today.

Several factions have been pushing Prime Minister Hayder Abadi to follow through on appointing a technocrat cabinet, to try to get corruption under control. The cabinet isn’t expected to pass a vote, and the planned Tuesday vote was cancelled, tentatively rescheduled to Thursday. Whether that’s going to happen at this point is even more doubtful, after Sunni MPs announced a “sit-in” today, and Shi’ite and Kurdish MPs got in fistfights with one another.

Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, a major proponent of the technocrat cabinet, has continued to organize protests to get them into place. The Sunni MPs also appear supportive of the idea, while the larger Shi’ite bloc, of which Abadi is a member, oppose the idea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A short memo to Secretary of State Kerry; didn't you make a statement, recently, to the effect that the political upheaval in Iraq couldn't possibly be allowed to stop the fight against ISIS?!?

Uh, sir, the Iraqi government has just imploded, and the Cleric Muqtada Al Sadr may well lead a popular revolution against Al-Abadi, and sweep both the capital and the country in any upcoming elections.

Al Sadr is none to keen on any American presence in Iraq; and any decap strike against him will result in utter, popular Iraqi rage against our military stationed (and soon to be stationed) in Iraq.

Sir, forgive me, but do you, the State Department, the Pentagon, and the White House have anything approximating a plan for such a scenario?!?

Because right now, the gap between the reality on the ground in Iraq, and your statements, is growing exponentially, and any thinking Americans who have been paying attention cannot possibly believe, for one second, that those in the bowels of power in Foggy Bottom have a clue as to what to do next, except send more troops, which ultimately solves nothing, and completely aggravates the Iraqi people horribly.

I would like to politely point your attention to an article, in theintercept.com, yesterday, which reports the following:

MORE THAN 90 PERCENT of young people in Iraq consider the United States to be an enemy of their country, according to a new poll. After years spent justifying the war as a “liberation” of the Iraqi people, the survey casts further doubt on the success of that endeavor. The poll was conducted by Penn Schoen Berland, a public relations and market research firm co-founded by controversial strategist Mark Penn, and was sponsored by a Dubai-based affiliate of Burson Marsteller, once described as “the PR firm for evil.” Still, the undertaking, as outlined by organizers, sounds ambitious. It included 250 face-to-face interviews in three Iraqi cities, plus another 3,250 interviews in 15 other countries throughout the Arab world, all with men and women ages 18-24 “selected to provide an accurate reflection of each nation’s geographic and socio-economic make-up.” It claims an error rate of plus or minus 1.65 percent.

Sir, the US government has botched this "reconquista", and big-time.

US Report Faults Key Allies for Stifling Freedom, Killing Dissidents

The 40th annual State Department report on human rights is raising more eyebrows than usual this year, as the preface by Secretary of State John Kerry warns of a “global governance crisis” wherein countries around the world are cracking down on basic freedoms and stifling dissent, often violently.

While the report goes after usual targets like China and Russia, it also singles out a number of high-profile US allies on this note, criticizing NATO member Turkey for prosecuting journalists as terrorists and killing Kurdish civilians, criticizing Israel for excessive and arbitrary violence against Palestinians, and noting that Egypt’s military junta continues to torture detainees to death in its prisons.

Webmaster's Commentary:

THESE charges, coming from this, allegedly "... most transparent administration in US history"?!?

Wow, that is rich; the problem is, in light of so many tinpot dictators the US government supports, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, upon reading this article!

EU parliament votes to re-approve glyphosate despite ‘concerns about carcinogenicity’

The European Parliament has backed a re-authorization of a pesticide believed to be carcinogenic for another 7 years, despite a widespread protest campaign calling for a full ban instead of a downsized “compromise” deal.
The weedkiller glyphosate is to be given market approval for another seven years, instead of 15 as originally requested, while its use should be limited to professionals only, the European Parliament said in a non-binding resolution approved on Wednesday. The body also advised the chemical shouldn’t be used in public locations, such as parks and playgrounds.

Despite coming up with the approval, the resolution, passed by 374 votes to 225, with 102 abstentions, still noted “concerns about the carcinogenicity and endocrine disruptive properties of the herbicide glyphosate, used in many farm and garden applications.”

The Green Party rioting for a ban said European governments and the European Commission are obliged to take into account the concerns raised by MEPs.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congratulations, EU Parliament, for the record number of cancer cases we will see in Europe from this approval going forward.

Monsanto must have met their price; knowing that this product has been incontrovertably proven to be carcinogenic, yet allowing its use for another 7 years?!?

This is pure madness, driven by occult money, or blackmail.

As reported at http://www.i-sis.org.uk/Glyphosate_is_Carcinogenic.php:

Enter your email address for notifications of new reports and news from ISIS SUBSCRIBE Open access to science eprints The Sparc provides both scientists and the general public free open access to scientific papers that are important for the survival of people and planet 39 ISIS Report 09/09/15 Glyphosate is Carcinogenic The WHO expert panel reclassified glyphosate as ‘probably carcinogenic’ more than 40 years after it was brought to market, but the range of available evidence is sufficient to classify it definitely carcinogenic. Glyphosate’s carcinogenic potential has been known to Monsanto and the US EPA from long term animal experiments since the early 1980s but repeatedly dismissed. This has resulted in two decades of people and planet being poisoned by glyphosate herbicides on a misclassification of ‘noncarcinogenic’ that has allowed the manufacturer to claim it is ‘safe’ and perpetrating many other falsehoods to promote its ubiquitous and liberal use Dr Mae-Wan Ho and Prof Peter T. Saunders A fully referenced version will be available in an updated version of Banishing Glyphosate Sign the Independent Scientists Manifesto on Glyphosate here: http://www.i-sis.org.uk/Independent_Scientists_Manifesto_on_Glyphosate.php Introduction The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which is part of the World Health Organization (WHO), has released the results of its year-long assessment of five organophosphate insecticides and herbicides. In this, the 112th study into potentially carcinogenic agents, it has reclassified glyphosate in Group 2A ‘probably carcinogenic to humans’ [1, 2]. This category is used [1] “when there is limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.” Previously, the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA), which last reviewed glyphosate in 1993, classified glyphosate in Group E ‘noncarcinogenic’ [3]. Similarly, a 2013 review by the German Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) conducted on behalf of the European Union did not recommend a carcinogen classification of either 2A or 2B (‘possibly carcinogenic’); though that review is mired in controversy, having been largely conducted by a consortium of chemical companies including Monsanto [4] (Scandal of Glyphosate Re-assessment in Europe, SiS 63). Monsanto has called on IARC to retract its assessment [5]. But Aaron Blair, scientist emeritus at the National Cancer Institute who chaired the 17 member Working Group of the IARC that carried out the assessment, robustly defended the decision, saying it is “appropriately based on current science” [6]. The IARC experts in the Working Group were selected for their expertise and most importantly, the absence of real or apparent conflicts of interest. Following the protocol required by the IARC, the Working Group considered only “reports that have been published or accepted for publication in the openly available scientific literature” as well as “data from governmental reports that are publicly available”. Notably, Blair told a journalist there were good grounds to declare that glyphosate definitely causes cancer [7]. But “the epidemiologic data was a little noisy.” While several studies suggested a link, another study in the US of farmers in Iowa and North Carolina did not. There had been a similar inconsistency in epidemiological studies of benzene now universally acknowledged as a carcinogen, Blair added. What Blair did not mention, for example, was that crucial evidence of carcinogenicity in animal experiments had existed at least since 1981 but successively dismissed as documented in EPA’s own archives (see below). In the meantime, US government data show steep rise in dozens of chronic diseases including cancers closely tracking the rapid increase in glyphosate use and the adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops, of which USA is the top producer by far [8]. In Argentina, the third producer of GM crops, where the use of pesticides including glyphosate has increased more than 8.5-fold since the introduction of GM crops 20 years ago, non-government organizations and doctors have been documenting rising incidences of cancers and birth defects among farmers and their families and others exposed to glyphosate spraying (see Chapter 3 of [9] Banishing Glyphosate, ISIS special report). Taking these and other additional findings into proper account would surely have been sufficient to classify glyphosate as a carcinogen. Asked to comment on the IARC’s reclassification, Fernando Manas, a member of the Genetics and Environmental Mutagenesis (GEMA) Group at the National University of Río Cuarto in Cordoba, Argentina, who has investigated the effect of agrochemicals for the past 9 years, confirmed the link between glyphosate and genetic damage, which leads to cancer and a higher risk of spontaneous abortions and birth defects in the new born, and said that the classification by IARC-WHO is a consequence of the growing scientific evidence generated by independent investigators. Furthermore, he pointed out that [10] this evidence, which has been deliberately ignored until now, means that “millions of gallons of herbicide with carcinogenic potential have been used according to regulations designed for a virtually harmless substance.” For two decades, entire populations were “subjected” to chronic pesticide exposures “based on criteria developed by the same companies that produce and market” agrochemicals.

Cruz eyes double-agent delegates in bid to snatch GOP nomination from Trump

Sen. Ted Cruz’s hopes for winning the Republican presidential nomination outright have faded, and he has shifted to a strategy of gaming the rules, angling to send enough double-agent delegates to the July convention to snatch victory from front-runner Donald Trump.

It’s a major reversal for Mr. Cruz, who just weeks ago insisted he would win the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination before the convention. But major wins in Utah, Wisconsin and Colorado have not closed the gap, with a series of East Coast primaries looming.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Cruz and his party apparatchiks will do anything to cut Trump from the race, including making up the rules as they go along.

In doing this, they are handing the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton.

Clinton knows she can handily defeat Cruz; Donald Trump is the candidate she doesn't want to have to fight.

How Hillary Helped Ruin Haiti

Last week Haiti’s Electoral Council postponed the nation’s current presidential election indefinitely. The present chaos is a fitting coda to the recent presidency of Michel Martelly, a novice politician who governed accordingly.

Amid the current upheaval, the name Mirlande Manigat is well worth recalling. As Haiti struggled to dig out from the disastrous 2010 earthquake, Manigat stood poised to become its first elected female president—until Hillary Clinton’s State Department intervened.

In late November 2010, Manigat, a Duvalier-era exile, topped a field of 19 candidates, garnering 31 percent of the vote and setting herself up for a runoff election against the initial second-place finisher, Jude Celestin. A close ally at the time with Haiti’s then-President Rene Preval, Celestin barely edged out Martelly, the popular singer better known as Sweet Micky.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Everything Hillary Clinton touched, during her tenure as Secretary of State, turned into an absolute disaster for the people of the countries she was, allegedly "helping", when the only people she was really "helping" were those who paid to play, by contributing to the Clinton Foundation.

Can someone, with a straight face, tell me why this woman deserves to be President?!? And yes, I want a woman in the White House; just please, Lord, Not That Woman!!!

US corporations have $1.4tn hidden in tax havens, claims Oxfam report

US corporate giants such as Apple, Walmart and General Electric have stashed $1.4tn (£980bn) in tax havens, despite receiving trillions of dollars in taxpayer support, according to a report by anti-poverty charity Oxfam.

Tax havens don’t need to be reformed. They should be outlawed

The sum, larger than the economic output of Russia, South Korea and Spain, is held in an “opaque and secretive network” of 1,608 subsidiaries based offshore, said Oxfam.

The charity’s analysis of the financial affairs of the 50 biggest US corporations comes amid intense scrutiny of tax havens following the leak of the Panama Papers.

And the charity said its report, entitled Broken at the Top was a further illustration of “massive systematic abuse” of the global tax system.

FORMER US STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL TO BUY UKRAINE'S LARGEST TELCOM COMPANY

This is just about as insane and open of an inside look, as to how US empire operators grab the spoils of their interventions that result in turmoil, that you are ever likely to get.

As is clear, the US played an important role in the Ukrainian revolution as revealed by the release of a recording of a phone call between Assistant US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt (SEE: An Important Second Listen to the "F--k the EU" Ukraine Recording).

But, Nuland isn't the only US State Department official playing a major role in Ukraine.

A US citizen, the Elmhurst, Illinois-born Natalie Jaresko, obtained a second citizenship (Ukrainian) on December 2, 2014, the day of, get this, her appointment as Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

So what is Jaresko up to as finance minister of Ukraine?

She is about to take control, for herself, of Datagroup, the Ukraine telecom company that controls 85% of the Ukranian telecom market.

UC DAVIS PAID $175,000 OR MORE TO SCRUB POLICE PEPPER SPRAY INCIDENT FROM WEB SEARCHES

After a police officer pepper-sprayed UC Davis students in a widely reported 2011 incident, the California university contracted with SEO consultants for $175,000 (or maybe more) to scrub unfavorable online items about the incident and boost online reputations of both the university and Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi.

The Sacramento Bee reported on the SEO scandal, and based their story on documents newly released in response to requests filed last month under the California Public Records Act.

In January 2013, UC Davis contracted a Maryland firm, Nevins & Associates, for a six-month contract that paid $15,000 a month. Nevins was the first of many "reputation management firms" paid off by the university administrators. And that payment was just the start.

NAVY VET MAKES THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE — SETS HIMSELF ON FIRE TO PROTEST THE VA’S LACK OF HEALTHCARE

Doused in gasoline, a former chief petty officer stood outside a Veterans Affairs (VA) outpatient clinic when he lit himself on fire and eventually died nine hours later. His wife recently confirmed that her husband was upset with the inadequate care that he had been receiving at the VA facility shortly before his suicide.
A seven-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Charles Ingram III walked nine miles from his home, past an American Legion park and a military veteran memorial, before arriving at the parking lot of the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic around 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19. While standing on a grass lawn near the clinic, the 51-year-old poured several gallons of gasoline on himself before committing self-immolation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This kind of incident, in many forms, across this county, is accelerating for our Vets, and should never, ever be happening, period, end of discussion.

Although I despise war as a way of resolving geopolitical differences, all of our Vets, particularly those who have seen combat, deserve the kind of care that a Dick Cheney gets; they have earned it, even if the reasons for the wars are purely financial, rather than "protecting the American way of life".

President Obama was observed at a photo op today with Vets from the Wounded Warriors Project; perhaps he should have spent the time more wisely by immediately sacking the current head of the VA, Robert Mc Donald, for gross incompetence, and replacing him with someone capable enough to actually do the job.

Debunking the "The Saudis did 9-11" nonsense!

And finally, here is some common sense that totally undermines the attempt to frame Saudi Arabia for 9-11. If Saudi Arabia really wanted to hurt the United States, they don't need to fly airplanes into skyscrapers to do it. All they have to do is ask for their money back, all at once. The resulting damage to the US financial system would make 9-11 look like a minor inconvenience in comparison.

And it would be perfectly legal for Saudi Arabia to ask for their money back.

Which is why we know that the claim that Saudi Arabia was behind 9-11 has no more basis in fact than the claim that Saddam had nuclear weapons or that Assad gassed his own people right in front of the UN chemical weapons inspectors.

Why Bill Clinton Is Full Of Shit

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has been making the rounds to defend his policies while in office to support his wife’s run for President. The close working relationship that he and Hillary Clinton have infers a symbiosis that other ‘First Couples’ wouldn’t be jointly held accountable for.

Alex Jones pushing "Saudis did 9-11" fraud.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Starts at 12:50.

Now then, keep in mind that 9-11 is used to justify invasions of countries by the US. First they blamed Afghanistan for 9-11 ... and invaded. Then they blamed Iraq for 9-11 ... and invaded. Now they are blaming Saudi Arabia for 9-11 ...

To find out if you are being lied to, look for what should be there and isn't, and in this case, it is a motive for Saudi Arabia to attack the United States.

Saudi Arabia has grown very wealthy from the petro-dollar deal. Saudi Arabia has invested much of that money back into the United States, and why would they do something that risks having those billions seized by the US Government?

And, if Saudi Arabia decided they wanted to hurt the United States, they don;t need to crash airplanes into buildings to do it. All they need to do is ask for tall of their money back, and the US economy would implode, with the resulting devastation making the World Trade Towers look like a minor inconvenience. Plus, it would be perfectly legal and moral for Saudi Arabia to do that!

U.S. CITIZENS MAY BE BANNED FROM BUYING BODY ARMOR

It’s time to remind US citizens again of HR 378, the Act that would “prohibit the purchase, ownership, or possession of enhanced body armor by civilians, with exceptions,” (source). The Act caused a stir when it was first reported on in early 2015, but has since dwindled in the media, and slipped through the cracks of the public’s attention. The proposal is still open, however, and those who are interested can track its progress through the (source) link above.

The Act was proposed on January 14, 2015 by Representatives Michael Honda (D-CA), Alcee Hastings (D-FL), Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Danny Davis (D-IL). According to washingtonwatch.com, other sponsors or cosponsors include Representatives Barbara Lee (D-CA), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Julia Brownley (D-CA).

Webmaster's Commentary:

We are very lucky here on Oahu; the police are generally courteous here, and I have never, ever had a confrontation at all with any police professional. Yes, I have had a couple of speeding tickets, but I earned them.

But I cannot begin to appreciate how horrific it must be for inner city moms and dads to wonder, when their teens walk out of the house, if they will actually come back, and in one piece.

There is a cultural illness which has infected American policing, and it happened just about the same time as police officers began to be trained by members, and former members, of the IDF, meaning that Americans were now going to be treated like the Israeli military treats the Palestinians.

Police in this country appear to have adopted a "Code Napoleon" approach to law enforcement, which means that suspects are presumed guilty until proven innocent, which is the absolute, polar opposite of what American jurisprudence has always been about. And the higher-ups at both the state and national levels seem to have transmitted the message that behaving with complete impunity toward the American people is perfectly acceptable.

This has to stop.

Oliver Stone: Hillary Has Been for Every War the US Waged

think it was the critic and filmmaker Rod Lurie who once said of Oliver Stone that he has made two of the greatest films of all time and two of the worst—which means he is the director with the world's biggest balls. There is a little room for debate in there, if only on the numbers. The films to which I imagine he referred in praise, Stone's early masterpieces, Platoon (1986) and Wall Street (1987), are indeed resounding and deserving favorites. But to any pile of best-of contenders, I would have to add at least Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Nixon (1995). And, for my money, Stone's JFK (1991) is the best American studio film of the last 40 years.

Judge Rules Docs Taken from Sandy Hook Shooter's House Must Stay Secret

Many of Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza's darkest secrets are going to stay secret.

A Connecticut judge has overturned a decision by the state's Freedom of Information Commission to release a spiral-bound notebook that the mass murderer called "The Big Book of Granny" and into which he poured his thoughts, The Hartford Courant reported Tuesday.

The judge also nixed the release of a spreadsheet of earlier mass killings that Lanza created, according to the Courant, which had requested the items.

The FOIA, Judge Carl Schuman wrote, does not apply to "documents that were private property before seizure by the police and that a court would ordinarily order returned to the rightful owner by the end of a criminal case."

Webmaster's Commentary:

UPDATED POST ~~ VIDEO ~~ A JEW AND AN ARAB WALK INTO A BAR … AND THE REALITY IN ISRAEL TODAY

Bezalel Smotrich, perhaps the most right-wing member of the current Knesset, caused a storm when he endorsed the idea that Arabs and Jew should be segregated in Israel’s maternity rooms.

Smotrich was responding to a report on the Israel Broadcast Authority that several hospitals practice de facto segregation of maternity rooms — placing Jews with Jews and Arabs with Arabs. Such segregation is prohibited by law.

“There are mental gaps, and it’s more comfortable for both sides to be with themselves,” Smotrich, a member of the religious Zionist Jewish Home party, tweeted on April 5. “It’s really not racism.”

ILLINOIS POLICE DEPT GETS RID OF BODY CAMS BECAUSE ADMINISTRATIVE WORKLOAD IS TOO BURDENSOME

The Minooka Police Department decided that the benefits from police body cameras do not outweigh the inconvenient administrative work associated with their use. They have halted the department use of body cameras after only six months.

In 2013, a high-profile study of the use of police body cameras in Rialto California showed their use to be nothing short of stunning. After body cameras had been implemented, the department saw a 60% reduction in use of force instances and an 88% reduction in officer complaints.

After the highly controversial murder of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014, the topic of police body cameras became part of the national discussion. Departments across the country began adopting the beneficial technology.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do not travel to any state where police body cameras are not mandated; this can be completely hazardous to your health, if not your life.

Quantum Extremeophiles Discovered Thriving on Radiation

"Life finds a way." Thanks to a research time involving Princeton, Indiana University, and others, that isn't just a sappy Disney quote - it's an incredible fact. They found extremophile bacteria buried over two miles into solid rock, where the life-giving energy of the sun never reaches - the energy every other species on Earth depends on. Instead they found their own power source - radiation!

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the search for extraterrestrial life, scientists are often blinded by a certain species chauvinism. They assume (probably because of science fiction movies and TV shows) that life means life as we know it, water and carbon based. But as the extremophiles on our own world prove, life evolves to fit the environment.

I keep hearing and reading about how "lucky" we are that Earth is in the perfect place for life to evolve, but they have it backwards. We are comfortable on Earth because we evolved here. Searching for Earth-like planets on which to search for life is limiting. Life will be found in conditions we would consider lethal, based on chemistry we would consider toxic. We may not even recognize it as life at first glance. See VIKING, LIFE ON MARS, AND DR. GILBERT LEVIN

15 Saudi ‘hijackers’ were CIA agents working for US

“We know that the 15 hijackers who were Saudis, the alleged hijackers, because they were not on those planes – not one of the 19 hijackers, or any Arabs, were on any of the four planes, according to the passenger list, and according to all of the evidence that would be there if they were on the planes, but has not been produced,” Dr. Barrett said.

“So these 15 Saudi patsies, who were set up to take the blame for 9/11, were in fact CIA agents. We know this – I had this confirmed directly by a CIA source that these 15 Saudis entered, and repeatedly reentered on these supposedly – they call them employment visas, but there’s a special number for employment visas that are only given to CIA assets as a reward for their service to the Central Intelligence Agency, and this visa allows them to come to the US. Typically they’re paid for their work for the CIA in Saudi Arabia, and then they are given this special kind of visa which is disguised as an employment visa but it’s a of particular type,” he stated.

That conversation was published on YouTube two weeks before the coup took place.

To Protect Clinton, Democrats Wage War on Their Own Core Citizens United Argument

For years, the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Citizens United was depicted by Democrats as the root of all political evil. But now, the core argument embraced by the Court’s conservatives to justify their ruling has taken center stage in the Democratic primary between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders – because Clinton supporters, to defend the huge amount of corporate cash on which their candidate is relying, frequently invoke that very same reasoning.

Syrian Elections 2016: US, NATO Criminals, Liars and Hypocrites’ Failed Attempt to Deny the Will of the Syrian People

So contrary to spurious claims from western governments and media, efforts were made to open the voting to all Syrian civilians including those who have fled terrorists held areas. Fluoride Officially Classified as a Neurotoxin in World’s Most Prestigious Medical Journal

The movement to remove industrial sodium fluoride from the world’s water supply has been growing in recent years, with evidence coming out against the additive from several sources.

Now, a report from the world’s oldest and most prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, has officially classified fluoride as a neurotoxin — in the same category as arsenic, lead and mercury.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember when the fluoride issue first came up, and the government propagandists handled it the way they always handle public opposition to policy, by trying to make anyone who was concerned look like a kook, as seen in films of the day such as "In like Flint", and "Doctor Strangelove."

And here we are, years later, finding out that the people concerned about what was coming out of their faucets, the people the establishment media made such fun of, were right all along.

Just keep that in mind when you see people being ridiculed for doubting human-caused global warming, or the official story about .... anything.

Ted Cruz Takes a Brave Stance in the War on Dildos

In perhaps the most noticeable line of the brief, Cruz's office declared, "There is no substantive-due-process right to stimulate one's genitals for non-medical purposes unrelated to procreation or outside of an interpersonal relationship." That is, the pursuit of such happiness had no constitutional standing.

I will grant you that there is no mention of the freedom of wanking in the text of the Constitution, but Cruz's strict textualism did not prevail.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are two issues here. The first is that Cruz seems to feel that government should control absolutely every aspect of your behavior, including the most private and intimate. Second, according to his college roommate, Cruz did plenty of "stimulation" himself!

Ukraine slides into chaos as the prospect of all out war re-emerges

The recent bout of in-fighting within the Kiev junta has been accompanied by warning’s from the IMF that Ukraine must do more to deal with the massive problems of corruption before it receives any more loans. The in-fighting between the various oligarchs and their political puppets within the Rada reflects the failure of crony capitalism to deal with any of the pressing economic, social and political problems facing Ukrainian society.

The deepening political crisis within Ukraine reveals how the promised benefits of turning towards the EU and America have failed to materialise. The New York Police Department got an order kicking a family of four out of their Queens apartment by telling a judge it was a drug den, but the dealers had moved out seven months earlier. Israel – A Nation Founded Upon a Monumental Lie

Once upon a time, hundreds of years ago, there was an extraordinarily evil kingdom. A land ruled by a wicked king who filled his court with practitioners of ancient Babylonian black arts, and occult oligarchs. A land inhabited by an aggressive demented race of thieves, murderers, and highwaymen, who would prey on travellers, steal from them, murder them, and then assume their identity. The citizens of neighbouring lands lived in constant fear and trepidation of this menacing realm, its criminal population, and its warlike tendencies.

Anyone could be forgiven for thinking that the above opening is the prologue to a mythical fable from times past, but such a sinister country, complete with its equally terrorizing inhabitants did exist. The country was called Khazaria, and its populace Khazars. A land to the north of Georgia and the south of Bulgaria, between the Black and Caspian seas.
