Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton struck a publicly defiant posture on Wednesday about continuing her presidential bid despite waning support from Democratic officials and donors. Some of her advisers acknowledged privately that they remained unsure about the future of her candidacy.

As 55 people died in Iraq on Saturday, the holiest day on the Shiite Muslim religious calendar, Sen. Hillary Clinton said that much of Iraq was "functioning quite well" and that the rash of suicide attacks was a sign that the insurgency was failing.

Sen. Hillary Clinton and members of her entourage, including daughter Chelsea and husband Bill, will be seen by many West Virginians during the next few days, as Clinton attempts to woo voters in the Tuesday primary election. Increasingly, however, it is becoming apparent that Clinton is fighting a losing battle. Her campaign is doing nothing more than deepening a rift in her party -- and we don't think the staunch Democrats of the Mountain State like that idea.

ABC News' Karen Travers Reports: For the first time this campaign season, Barack Obama has surpassed Hillary Clinton's support among superdelegates, according to the ABC News delegate estimate.

Sen. Obama, D-Ill., picked up two superdelegates this morning giving him a new metric to tout in addition to his current commanding leads in pledged delegates, popular votes, states won, and money raised.

Yet Hillary still acts like she knows something may happen to give her the nomination. - M. R.

"I can't believe Sen. Clinton would say anything that dumb," Rangel told The News as he headed to the House floor, where earlier he had embraced Obama.

Obama built up his insurmountable lead over Clinton because he was the only candidate for the No More Wars For The Jews Party. Clinton had been able to build a tiny bit of momentum after Pennsylvania. Why then did she court disaster by reminding the voters of North Carolina and Indiana that she was the candidate for the More Wars For The Jews Party by raising the issue of the obliteration of Iran? Suddenly, Americans were reminded of why Obama built up his big lead.
Israel's supporters may have oodles of money with which to reshape American politics, but in the end, they only really have 2% of the votes. And even the best vote fraud cannot overcome that fact. - M. R.

According to these officials, the book includes "previously undisclosed information about Hillary Clinton's connections to the Whitewater scandal, travel office firings, and Democratic fundraising efforts." Given that the book has not been shared with us, we've been unable to confirm this assertion. Furthermore, the Republican officials would not describe the nature of the "new information."

Now, faced with a mathematical mountain climb that even Stephen Hawking could not ascend, the Clintons -- and it is indeed both of them -- are just about to paste a bumper sticker on the rear of the collapsing vehicle that carries her campaign. It reads: VOTE WHITE.

"It's full speed on to the White House." --Hillary Clinton following her narrow win in Indiana

Defiant or delusional?

Just how far will Hillary go?...

In a heated phone call with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi late last month, Hillary Clinton supporter Harvey Weinstein threatened to cut off campaign money to congressional Democrats unless Pelosi embraced a new plan by the movie mogul to finance a revote of the Democratic presidential primaries in Florida and Michigan, according to three officials who were briefed on the contents of the conversation.
Everyone is "expendable" in Hillary's quest for the Oval Office. - M. R.

Excuse me if a look of bewilderment crosses my face when a surrogate of Sen. Hillary Clinton's starts off on the "we need hard-working white workers to win in November" mantra.

McCain's "Spiritual Guide" Wants America to Destroy Islam...

Look the problem is not so much her acknowledgment of her support among whites of lower socioeconomic status, which is true to some degree if not somewhat tacky to bring up the way she did. It's her characterization of "WORKING, HARD WORKING AMERICANS,WHITE AMERICANS."

The speculation that Hillary's campaign might try to override the voting process to get the nomination ignores DNC rules.
You are assuming Hillary will play by the rules. - M. R.

Obama plans to declare victory May 20...

Hillary Clinton's campaign aides admitted Thursday they were consulted by their big donors before the group sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi containing a veiled threat that she would risk their financial support unless she reversed her view that superdelegates should follow the will of voters.
'Follow the will of the voters????' Just what country do you think you LIVE in, Madam Speaker!!!!!!! - M. R.

HILLARY INVOKES THE NUCLEAR OPTION...
Hillary is sending a message to the Democratic leadership that if they do not install her as the candidate for November, she will have her supporters throw the election to McCain. - M. R.

Top Clinton fundraisers concede race is 'all but lost'...

On what was probably one of the toughest days of her campaign so far, with pundits and analysts of all stripes declaring her presidential candidacy finished, Mrs. Clinton put on her battle face Wednesday and confronted what was at times a hostile crowd at a hastily arranged speech here at Shepherd University.
Like I said, she is not going quietly into that good night.

The Clinton-Bush duopoly has held power for 20 years. They are not about to let a silly thing like the will of the people force them out. - M. R.

Several prominent Texas supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama agreed Wednesday that the race for the Democratic nomination is over and that the unification of the party needs to begin at once.
"One party, one nation, one ME, dammit!" -- Hillary - M. R.

Apart from George McGovern, a plainspoken man who knows something about losing elections, not a single Democrat of national stature publicly urged Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday to end her campaign for the White House.

They didn't have to.

Hillary will not go quietly into that good night. - M. R.

Report: Wesley Clark Privately Urging Clinton To Quit Race...

The Illinois senator showed himself to be resilient in the wake of three weeks or so of crisis and, much more importantly, he got back on the winning track. This is the evidence that some super-delegates have been waiting for.

Many of them - most of them - had clearly made up their minds that they would not support Mrs Clinton, and so this had become a case of whether or not Mr Obama could close the deal. That is what appears to have happened last night.

After Hillary Clinton's squeaker victory in Indiana Tuesday night, opponent Barack Obama's advisers and surrogates are saying the only reason she won at all is because of meddling by conservative Hoosiers following the orders of talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

"If it hadn't been for Republicans taking Democratic ballots, he likely would have won in Indiana," Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) said Wednesday on a conference call hosted by the Obama campaign. "Rush Limbaugh was tampering with the primary and the GOP has clearly declared they want Clinton as a candidate."

As I said below, this is a repeat of the 1972 Nixon CREEP, which worked to make certain that the Democratic candidate would be George McGovern, because Nixon would have had a hard time winning re-election against anyone else. - M. R.

.89%! Double-digits!
Functionally, this is a tie. - M. R.

But will Obama make her his running-mate? Not if he can help it,
The celebration, I feel, is still a bit premature. The cork is still in my own champagne bottle. Hillary did not get where she is playing nice, or playing by the rules. A lot of enemies of the Clintons died at convenient times, including the guy who wanted to run for the Senate seat Hillary sits in. - M. R.

Obama Seen As Stronger Candidate Versus McCain...

It's reached a point that everyone has known for months it had to reach, the point at which even people paid to do so cannot keep it going with a straight face. On Tuesday, Senator Barack Obama picked up approximately 99 new pledged delegates from North Carolina and Indiana, while Senator Hillary Clinton picked up about 85. The final count may move a delegate or two, but these numbers are close enough for the following calculation.

Obama now has 1,592 pledged delegates to Clinton's 1,419. There are 217 delegates remaining to be pledged. Of those 217, Clinton would need to win 196 to beat Obama, or a victory of 90 percent to 10 percent. That's about as likely as Dick Cheney hitting 50 percent approval.

Stay out of small planes, Barack! Please! - M. R.

The New York Post on Tuesday named an American businessman at the center of an Israeli police investigation which has sparked intense speculation that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert may be forced to resign.

The newspaper quoted unidentified sources as saying New York financier Morris Talansky was questioned in Israel and was set to disclose a role in passing cash to Olmert when he was mayor of Jerusalem in the 1990s.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton loaned her campaign $6.4 million from her own pocket in the past month, a campaign source said on Wednesday. ADVERTISEMENT The personal loan, the second she has made to her campaign, comes as Clinton struggles to stay in the grueling Democratic race against rival Barack Obama, who beat her in a North Carolina nominating contest on Tuesday. Clinton narrowly edged out Obama in Indiana.
After yesterday, Clinton's donors (at least the ones she can't blackmail) are going to start putting away the checkbooks. - M. R.

A state plane carrying Gov. Charlie Crist had to make a U-turn over Georgia and return to Tallahassee after three controls malfunctioned.

She said pilots made the decision to go back when mechanisms that control the plane's tail, its up and down steering and the autopilot malfunctioned.

It was immediately clear that a coalition of Ron Paul supporters and John McCain opponents had a slight majority when the folks running the show wouldn't allow a "roll-call vote" (basically a head-count) to settle a very close vote for who would be convention chairman of the day. It was by no means clear who won the yea-or-nay vote, and calls for a roll-call vote were denied. They would never explain why, and I regret that they were allowed to get away with that. This convention may have gone very differently otherwise.

Zogby polls in the past week show steadily declining support for Hillary among women. Blacks, and under 70s. moving to Obama driving the change.

Zogby phone polls in Indiana and North Carolina suggest that women are deserting Hillary.

Female voters want to identify with a woman who can keep her marriage happy, not with a bitch ready to "obliterate" another nation's children.

And, it may be that the fact that Hillary hangs out with drug smugglers hasn't helped.

At a press conference during his visit to New Delhi on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, asked what he thought the result of the U.S. presidential election would be, replied, "We don't interfere in the other countries' affairs but we think that the American nation seek profound changes in their country."

Ahmadinejad's answer was the second reported instance in which a high Iranian official, when asked about the U.S. presidential contest, has used the word "change" or "changes" in his answer.

Experts on Iranian political discourse believe that the officials' choice of words is intended to be a reference to Democratic contender Barack Obama's campaign theme, "Change We Can Believe In," and to thereby signal that relations between Tehran and Washington will improve if Obama is elected.

This ranks as the single most pathetic attempt to link Obama and Iran I have ever seen. - M. R.

Democrat Barack Obama appears to have rebounded from some of the damage caused by the controversy surrounding his former pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, according to the latest CBS News/New York Times poll. On one key measure, Obama has seen a big reversal since his denunciation of Wright's remarks on Tuesday. He now leads presumptive Republican nominee John McCain in the hypothetical fall contest by eleven points, 51 percent to 40 percent.
Maybe THIS is having an effect?

He stated that a memo from Evan Bayh has surfaced in which Bayh blames the Clinton's for the closing of the Magnequench plant in Vapraiso, Indiana, and this memo is due to hit the presses tomorrow (and hopefully will change the fucking conversation). "War Room" is shot in the nonscripted, cinema-verite style by D. A. Pennebaker (whose follow-around films on President Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey and Bob Dylan are documentary classics) and Chris Hegedus. Whether Carville and company are play-acting somewhat for the cameras becomes less important as the film progresses. One can only keep up an act for so long -- especially in the throes of a campaign. Carville's tearful farewell speech to his staff as they close up just before the election, Stephanopoulos's frank talk with a potential blackmailer and a Mickey Kantor comment about the people of Indiana (when it looks as though Clinton's ahead in Dan Quayle's state) attest to this.

I can't vote for Hillary given Kantor's OUTRAGEOUS remarks.
I am being flooded with email from Hillary's supporters. Half are insisting that the tape is a total fake, the others saying that Kantor's comments are "misunderstood."

But after the way Hillary's people and the media pounded us endlessly with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's speech, I think this video deserves equal play just to be fair.

Show this to the people of Indiana, and let them decide if this is an insult or not. - M. R.

The Hillary Clinton campaign is dealing with a quickly exploding controversy. WSBT News has received dozens of emails about a YouTube video that shows a high level Clinton campaign advisor allegedly making degrading remarks about people from Indiana.

I HEREBY CHALLENGE THE VERY SAME MAINSTREAM MEDIA THAT ENDLESSLY PLAYED THE WORDS OF THE REVEREND JEREMIAH WRIGHT TO GRANT EQUAL TIME TO AIRING THIS VIDEO.

Hillary's people are claiming that the video has been faked or altered, or simply shown out of context. But I would like to remind everyone that the video of Reverend Wright that we were all shown (over and over and over again) was also selectively edited to exclude the fact that Wright was quoting from another source when he made some of his comments.

Where the truth is on this is hard to figure out, but Hillary's people started playing dirty with the Reverend Wright and now they have to live with the consequences. - M. R.

Here is the plain truth: Sen. Mikulski supports the Military-Industrial Complex, which is a one-trillion-dollar a year drain on our treasury. (2) She doesn't give a good hoot about the troops, who are dying and suffering in Iraq. Her votes for war-funding puts the troops in harm's way, in a conflict which was launched by the Bush-Cheney Gang based on 935 certifiable lies. (3) When the Democrats took control of the Congress in January, 2007, Sen. Mikulski had an opportunity to stop funding this war and to bring the troops home safely. She failed! As a result, 1,055 troops have died since that date and thousands more have been wounded.

Clinton is airing this advertisement in Indiana, bemoaning the closure of a defense contractor Magnequench's manufacturing plant in Valparaiso (she is also echoing this line in her stump speeches). Looking at the camera, she tells us she's upset that the 200 jobs that were sent to China, and that "now America's defense relies on Chinese spare parts." And then comes the kicker: She tells viewers that "George Bush could have stopped it, but he didn't."

Clinton is certainly right that it is a tragedy that 200 American jobs were killed in a corporate deal that also exported sensitive military technology to China. But she forgets to mention that it wasn't George Bush who was in the key position to stop it -- it was Bill Clinton.

It saddens me to see how Rev.Wright has taken this whole thing and turned it into a ongoing spectacle and opportunity for his own glory and fame. I am the first to agree with many things that he has said in his sermons and lectures of here lately but I disagree with his timing. Let us get Obama into the whitehouse and then we can look at the truths of this nation and how to repair it.

Drug Smuggler Made Clinton Donation in Cuba, Investigators Say
By DON VAN NATTA Jr.

MIAMI -- Jorge Cabrera, a drug smuggler who has emerged as
one of the most notorious supporters of President Clinton's
re-election campaign, was asked for a campaign contribution in
the unlikely locale of a hotel in Havana by a prominent Democratic
fund-raiser, congressional investigators have learned.

The investigators said the fund-raiser, whom they identified as
Vivian Mannerud, a Cuban-American businesswoman from Miami,
told Cabrera at a meeting at the Copacabana Hotel in Havana that
in exchange for a contribution he would be invited to a
fund-raising dinner in honor of Vice President Al Gore in an
exclusive enclave near Miami.

Ms. Mannerud owns Airline Brokers Co., an airline charter
service that operates among Havana, the Bahamas and Mexico.

On his return to the United States several days after that
meeting, in November 1995, Cabrera wrote a check for $20,000 to
the Democratic National Committee from an account that included
the proceeds from smuggling cocaine from Colombia to the
United States, said the investigators, who spoke on condition of
anonymity.

Within two weeks of the contribution, Cabrera met Gore at the
dinner in Miami. Ten days later, Cabrera attended a Christmas
reception at the White House hosted by Hillary Rodham Clinton. At
the events, Gore and Mrs. Clinton posed for photographs with
Cabrera, who has two felony convictions dating from the 1980s
and is now in a prison here on a drug-smuggling conviction.

So, here is the point. If Barack Obama shares the guilt-by-association of a Pastor who says inflammatory things, then Hillary has to share the guilt-by-association with drug smugglers, pimps, and child molesters.

KBR employees working in Iraq stole weapons, artwork and even gold to make spurs for cowboy boots, two former company workers told Senate Democrats on Monday.

Appearing before a Democrats-only panel looking into allegations of contracting abuses in Iraq, the witnesses accused their former co-workers of widespread improper activity.

KBR spokeswoman Heather Browne said the company would not comment at length because the claims are part of ongoing lawsuits.

"The witnesses who testified today raised claims that KBR has previously addressed. The government has reviewed the claims and refused to join lawsuits asserting them," Browne said.

Paper: Hillary supporter organized Wright event...

In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!

While Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Barabara Streisand, Cher, Stan Lee, Brad Pitt, Mike Wallace, Larry King et al may be called to testify and be deposed starting in May, Hillary alone has been protected from explaining her role in her husband's fraud charges.

As Wright takes a valedictory tour to take advantage of a national platform that has been offered to him by a media tinderbox filled with the kindling wood of race, the question remains as to why this is still front page news. Whether Wright is preaching the gospel and indignation to a media that can't get enough of this sidebar story because race sells only second to sex as far as spiking up ratings -- or whether he is just on an ego trip -- the point to ask is why this is a front page story at all.

Okay folks, Hillary wants to play dirty. If you are an Obama supporter you need to take the material at this page and just flood the media and everyone you know with it. April 28, 2008

Recently, the mainstream media has taken Barack Obama to task for comments made by his pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Now, I attended church when I was very young, and one of the things I recall about that experience is that nobody ever dared challenge the authority of the guy in the funny robes. He said what he wanted to say and the rest of us sat and listened quietly, no matter how absurd it sounded. I presume that Reverend Wright's church operates with the same rules. Therefore, it is unreasonable to assume that Obama is in any way reposnible for what Reverend Wright has to say about anything. And, while I do not share Reverend Wright's beliefs, I do not disagree with much of what he says. There has been and is racism in this country in many forms, some overt, some covert. And it is hard to imagine any god blessing America after all the commandments our government shattered in the war on Iraq. But whether you agree with Reverend Wright or not, he has a First Amendment right to speak his piece.

In recent days, there have been attempts by the mainstream media to metaphorically tar and feather Barack Obama by his association with Reverend Wright. I was hopeful we had outgrown such things as guilt by association, but political campaigns always seem to bring out the worst in people.

But, if guilt by association is your cup of tea, then read on, because I have a couple doozies to share with you!

Judging from the campaign rhetoric coming out of both camps, whoever wins the Oval Office will be inclined to continue the failed military policies in Iraq and to pursue a confrontation with Iran. Apparently it does not matter to either party what will follow those actions, or what these disastrous policies have produced as they played-out in Iraq and Afghanistan. It does not matter who gets elected, whether it is "bomb, bomb Iran" McCain, or "obliterate/massive retaliation" Clinton, nothing will change.

Responding with understatement to a question in the British House of Lords, the foreign minister responsible for Asia, Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, said of Clinton's implication of a mushroom cloud over Iran: "While it is reasonable to warn Iran of the consequences of it continuing to develop nuclear weapons and what those real consequences bring to its security, it is probably not prudent in today's world to threaten to obliterate any other country and in many cases civilians resident in such a country."

The neoconservatives in the White House and the Pentagon outsmarted themselves. They failed even to address the problem of how to finance their schemes of imperialist wars and global domination.

The GOP in Hawaii is playing dirty. They are attempting to spread the false message that the only Republican candidate in the race is McCain . They are also claiming that Ron Paul is no longer in the race.

With no war to supply or fight, both the military and their business counterparts faced bleak prospects of reduction in forces and shrinking business contracts with the Pentagon.

Then, in 1948, the U.S. Army hit on a plan that would turn around their loss of rank, privilege and business contracts.

Hillary recently padded her madness with talk of obliterating Iran in response to a fictional first-strike against Israel. That Iran lacks nukes and is nowhere near possessing them means nothing, nor does the idea that a nuclear-armed Iran would be suicidal enough to hit Israel to begin with. All that matters is for Hillary to appear genocidal, a vital character trait that U.S. presidents must display in order to be taken seriously. Hey, works for me, though I suspect that a President Hillary would warm up by attacking a few smaller, defenseless nations, just to get the blood pumping. Obliteration should never be served cold.

Nobody doles out taxpayer money like Hillary Clinton -- or rakes in as much campaign cash from the companies she does favors for

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton warned Tehran that if she were president, the United States could "totally obliterate" Iran in retaliation for a nuclear strike against Israel.'

Not up close and personal obliteration, that would spatter one's coiffure with bloodspots and gore, but remotely, dispassionately...all seventy million Iranians, mostly young, and mostly progressive, just like ourselves; men, women and children; human, all too human.

Unlike you, Madam, one of the fabled six percent of the population, the psychopaths. Your body count is already impressive, if one can believe reports. Though you may not be forbad to wade through slaughter to a throne, you are forbad to wade beyond it. To threaten obliteration of peaceful civilian populations, is terrorism. To act it, is a war-crime under the Nurenberg Principles.

Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many 'friends' of the Clinton's....

How in the world do you think these killers got off so easy?

FOX Lies!! Irresponsible Media! Barack Obama Pastor Wright...
Fox news doctored and falsified the video of Obama's pastor Wright. Wright did not preach those words himself. He was quoting a White Man.; Ambassador Edward Peck. And he is a retired, white, career U.S. diplomat who served 32-years in the U.S. Foreign Service and was chief of the U.S.mission to Iraq under Jimmy Carter. The complete video below will show that Pastor Wright is telling his audience that "I will tell you what a white man named Ambassador Peck said". And then he will quote Mr. Peck. And he ends by reminding his congregation "A white man said this, I didn't say it". Fox didn't show that because they wanted people to think it came from Pastor Wright. - M. R.

Granted that if Iran's leaders were, for some crazy reason, to decide to launch an unprovoked nuclear attack on Israel, it would require some kind of response by the US and other nations, but is the appropriate response the slaughter of tens of millions of innocent Iranian citizens?

Of course not.

Going negative doesn't begin to describe what has happened. Hillary is going over the edge. Even worse are the flacks she sends before the cameras on her behalf, like that Kiki person, who smirks and shakes her head at the camera every time she fields a question. Or the real carnivores, like Howard Wolfson, Lanny Davis and James Carville, whose sneering smugness prevents countless women like my wife from considering Hillary at all.

To use the current terminology, Hillary people are bitter people, even more bitter than the white working-class voters Barack has talked about. Because they circle the wagons so tightly, they don't recognize how identical, self-reinforcing and out-of-touch they are.

As a side note, although the MSM are talking about Hillary's ten point victory, the actual spread is closer to 8.6% as the final numbers come in. - M. R.

SHE WILL NOT HAVE THE VICTORY SHE NEEDED!!!

And she also said, the campaign is out of money!

A federal appeals court sought compromise Monday between a liberal group demanding the names of White House visitors and the Bush administration, which says releasing the names would erode the president's power. ADVERTISEMENT

If released, the documents would show how often prominent religious conservatives visited the White House and Vice President Dick Cheney's residence, allowing a glimpse into how much influence they exerted on government policy.

The six-week Pennsylvania presidential primary drew to a contentious finish with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton invoking images of Pearl Harbor and Osama bin Laden in a television ad that questioned Senator Barack Obama's ability to lead in a time of crisis.

Voting records seem sure to fall today in the critical Philadelphia suburbs. Already, 136 voters have cast their ballots at the Ardmore United Methodist Church. Judge of elections Kristina Shore said the typical primary draws less than 200 voters in a FULL DAY.

A cross-site scripting vulnerability in the social networking section of Sen. Barack Obama's campaign site was exploited over the weekend to redirect users to the URL of rival Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), researchers claimed today.

According to the U.K.-based antifraud company Netcraft Ltd., someone identified only as "Mox" confessed to the hack in an entry on the Community Blogs section on the Obama site Sunday. Obama, an Illinois Democrat, leads Clinton in the race for the party's presidential nomination. The site exploit occurred just before this week's big Pennsylvania primary.

Hillary's List of Lies...

CBS news exposes the real story of Hillary Clintons 1996 trip to Bosnia.

Hillary Clinton's remarks made on March 6, 2003 to Code Pink two weeks before the Iraq War began contradict all of her claims made in her first campaign stop in Iowa this weekend.

Did you know that Hillary claims to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary? (he's the guy who first climbed Mt. Everest)

Pretty cool stuff, huh?

Well, it turns out that Hillary Clinton was born in 1947, and Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mt Everest in 1953 -- almost 6 years after she was born ...

Pretty cool trick, huh?

Another Burton note indicated that Hillary had made a comment that suggested that she may have helped compose the forged Foster note. It read, "if concerned about usher's office discuss w/me." That refers to an incident mentioned in the note in which she was involved.

There are many indications that Hillary lacked confidence in the forgery. One was the 30-hour delay in turning it over to the authorities. Another was the refusal to release photocopies, blocking for two years any possibility of independent experts exposing the forgery. The most telling is that on the day the note was found, Nussbaum, Neuwirth and Burton remained in Nussbaum's office working late into the night. Nussbaum's assistant, Linda Tripp, stayed to help them if needed.

She said that one of them came out to borrow one of the typewriters from the outer office shared by Nussbaum and Foster. Pointing out that the cords were taped to the floor, she offered to get one elsewhere. She was told not to bother. Nussbaum told the FBI that they wanted a typewriter to type the note. This suggests that because of Hillary's qualms they were thinking of discarding the handwritten note and switching to forgery by typewriter. Nussbaum said he wanted to substitute a typed copy for the handwritten copy he had made, but he didn't explain why the typewriter had to be one that Foster might have used. There is nothing in the record that indicates that the FBI asked that obvious question.

In 1995, photocopies of the note were leaked on Capitol Hill, and independent handwriting experts were able to analyze it. Three experts were given copies and ample samples of comparable notes written by Foster. Working independently, all three declared the note to be a forgery.

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

"Climate Change" seems to be the new buzzword these days among environmentalists and politicians who were formerly the proponents of "Global-Warming". Unfortunately, the term "climate change" is a meaningless phrase. The climate is always changing, about as often as the weather in fact. Some years are warm, while others are cool. Some years are dry, while others are wet. There are El Niños, and there are La Niñas. There have been ice ages and warm periods throughout Earth's history. And the term "Global Climate Change" is not much better. That simply tells us that the climate is changing everywhere in the world. Yeah, and so...?
The politicians are really desperate when they take a natural phenomenon and turn it into a "crisis" requiring more taxes and control. - M. R.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

An email, called a "National Delegate Self-Nomination Form," sent to some 7th District GOP delegates warns them that they shouldn't expect much of a role or influence at the convention.

Supporters of GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul -- who won six of 12 delegate slots to the GOP national convention at Fourth, Fifth and Sixth District conventions in early April -- think the email was directed at them.

This documentary, entitled Bill Clinton: His Life, came out in 2004, right about the same time as the autobiography, Bill Clinton: My Life. It takes a good, hard look at the dirty dealings of both Bill and Hillary Clinton but, for some reason never achieved the popularity of Michael Moore's fantasy film, Fahrenheit 911. This movie has been thoroughly suppressed by our left-wing media to the point that it's not listed on IMDb, nor can you find anything about it through a Google search. Hopefully that will change now that it's been made available on YouTube. Watch and learn how the Clintons turned the White House into a headquarters for organized crime, communist spying and murder, all while the Clinton-friendly media kept the public distracted by focusing on a few of Slick Willy's petty sexual encounters.
Many of the documents shown in this segment are also available for review at my Vince Foster page. - M. R.

The Senate moved yesterday toward asking the Justice Department for a criminal investigation of a $10 million legislative earmark whose provisions were mysteriously altered after Congress gave final approval to a huge 2005 highway funding bill.
In other words, someone altered a bill after Congress had already passed it but before it went to Bush for a signature. - M. R.

By signing legislation creating Medicare Part D, George W. Bush became responsible for the most significant expansion of the welfare state since LBJ's Great Society. It turns out, though, that forcing taxpayers to help buy Granny's meds was the proverbial camel's nose of big Republican government. So what was next? The overhaul of financial market regulation announced recently by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, which, if adopted, would extend the federal government's reach more so than any policy initiative since the New Deal.

When Barack Obama met Hillary Clinton for another televised Democratic candidates' debate last night, it was more than a step forward in the 2008 presidential election. It was another step downward for network news -- in particular ABC News, which hosted the debate from Philadelphia and whose usually dependable anchors, Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos, turned in shoddy, despicable performances

Republican presidential candidate John McCain revealed his tax plan yesterday. The center piece is his call for an alternative tax system:

When this reform is enacted, all who wish to stay under the current system could still do so, but everyone else could choose a vastly less complicated system with two tax rates and a generous standard deduction. Americans do not resent paying their rightful share of taxes - what they do resent is being subjected to thousands of pages of needless and often irrational rules and demands from the IRS.

All those who think he would keep his word on this, raise you rhands.

So, what choice does the Republican Party offer the American people this year? The worst of all possible choices: good old John "McSame" McCain.

Let's be clear: a John McCain Presidency will be no better than a Hillary Clinton or a Barack Obama Presidency. In fact, in many ways, a McCain White House will be WORSE than a Democratic one.

This article is very in depth and provides a comprehensive analysis of each voting district in Pennsylvania. I'm from Texas so I'm a little bit out of my element. The upshot of this article shows that Clinton, may, pick up about a net of 3 delegates in PA - which keeps Obama soundly in the lead.

"Bittergate" bombs......

This past week Barack Obama was answering a question about why small town America are such a difficult demographic for him to win. His answer was well thought out and accurate. He stated that small town America is very bitter over the loss of manufacturing jobs over the decades that have seen once vibrant towns wither away. He then posited a list of things that small town America turn to focus on because of their apathy over the economy. He said that they instead cling to the religion, gun issues, or anti-immigrant sentiments when it comes time to vote.

Let us not be confused about what Senator Obama said. He correctly stated that small town voters will often vote against their own economic interests, because they simply do not see solutions to those problems coming from Washington anymore.

In six years as a member of the Wal-Mart board of directors, between 1986 and 1992, Hillary Clinton remained silent as the world's largest retailer waged a major campaign against labor unions seeking to represent store workers.

Clinton has been endorsed for president by more than a dozen unions, according to her campaign Web site, which omits any reference to her role at Wal-Mart in its detailed biography of her.

A cynical friend speculates that Deborah Jean must have run afoul of some particularly powerful and vicious federal government official in the normal course of her business. This official/customer, given his bent toward the sadistic, wanted one of Deborah Jean's girls to do something that she was flatly unwilling to do, perhaps worse than what Governor Eliot Spitzer is alleged to have asked of and received from his comely and costly lady of the night. Full of his importance, the customer appealed to the madam, and Deborah Jean put her foot squarely down on the side of the service provider. What we are witnessing, then, is nothing more than a demonstration of that powerful person's fit of pique over the madam's effrontery.

Has it really come to this? I know it seems that some of our current high officials take an almost perverse pleasure in visiting a variety of barbarities upon various people who have fallen into their clutches, but are we really witnessing the transformation of America into something resembling the worst of the ancient despotisms or modern third world dictatorships? Surely we have not become, in effect, Caligula's Rome or Idi Amin's Uganda, have we?

Could be! - M. R.

Less than one week ago, a scandal hit the presidential campaign of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. The Clinton campaign's Chief Strategist, Mark Penn, was exposed in a searing conflict of interest between his position in the presidential campaign and his other job: CEO of the massive multinational PR giant, Burson Marsteller. While his most prominent client, Senator Clinton, was firmly on the record opposing the proposed trade agreement with Col
