Last Friday, Dick Cheney was in Saudi Arabia for high-level meetings with the Saudi king and his ministers. On Saturday, it was revealed that the Saudi Shura Council -- the elite group that implements the decisions of the autocratic inner circle -- is preparing "national plans to deal with any sudden nuclear and radioactive hazards that may affect the kingdom following experts' warnings of possible attacks on Iran's Bushehr nuclear reactors," one of the kingdom's leading newspapers, Okaz, reports. The German-based dpa news service relayed the paper's story.

After pleading with King Abdullah to pump more oil and ease gas prices, "get lost" was the answer President Bush received on his historic visit to Saudi Arabia.

This is pure spin. Bush went to the Saudis to ask them to buy up more of the United States' debt, and in order to do that they must keep gas prices HIGH in order to have the cash to buy up that debt. Bush tried to use the Saudis as a cut-out to loot the American people for more money to deal with the government's fiscal recklessness, and the Saudis are not having any of it.

We are seeing the start of the Saudi bashing propaganda which telegraphs that, following Iran, the Saudis are next up on the "shopping list." - M. R.

Bush announces 20 billion dollar arms sale to Saudi Arabia. "True believers" of the official 911 fairy tale are yelping that 15 of 19 hijackers were Saudis. (sigh) Depending on who you listen to, the "suicide" bombers in Iraq are coming in from Saudi Arabia. (sigh)

So...the US is selling advanced weaponry to the country that gave us most of the 911 hijackers, and those mainly responsible for sewing chaos in Iraq?

Although Bush administration officials have frequently lashed out at Syria and Iran, accusing it of helping insurgents and militias here, the largest number of foreign fighters and suicide bombers in Iraq come from a third neighbor, Saudi Arabia, according to a senior U.S. military officer and Iraqi lawmakers.

Israel has worked to find a way to derail Saudi Arabia's influence in the US. Saudi Arabia has oil, a product the US needs in abundance, and Israel does not. Saudi Arabia reinvests their oil money in the US and Israel does not. Saudi Arabia pours billions into our economy, Israel sucks billions out.

Israel, unable to match the economic power of Saudi Arabia, has tried to find a way to wreck the relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia, which is why Rahm Emmanual had his brother, Ari Emmanual, who happens to be Michael Moore's agent, arrange for Fahrenheit 911 to lay the blame for the WTC attack on Saudi Arabia. This is an old Israeli trick, as typified in the Lavon Affair; to attack your friend and frame your enemy for it. - M. R.

When did they tell us this? Remember when Dick Chenney got summoned to Saudi Arabia? Yup, that's when. They called Dick and told him to go fuck himself (kind of poetic justice, don't you think?). They told him that regardless of what's good for America, America must do what's good for Saudi Arabia.

As a result of our fucking up Iraq, now the entire middle east (majority Sunni Arabs, even though they are the minority in Iraq) is now ready for a bloody civil war. Iran is interested in supporting the Shiites and increasing its influence while Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and others are interested in protecting their influence. Is this what George Bush meant when he talked about transforming the middle east? Transform it into total chaos?

The House Armed Services Committee considered the possibility of a Saudi coup and U.S. response during a hearing on Oct. 26.

When legal action forced Dick Cheney to release documents from his Energy Task Force, it was found that the documents consisted of maps of oil fields. Iraq, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. We've invaded one of those. Number two is getting set up in the cross-hairs. - M. R.
