Kathy Griffin isn't sorry about her Trump photo anymore

The comedian took back her apology for the stunt in which she held up a fake severed head of President Trump while being interviewed this week in Australia.

"I'm no longer sorry. The whole outrage was BS. The whole thing got so blown out of proportion," said Griffin on Australia's Sunrise show.

(*A Great Victory Of The Senses on her part . Now it can be told; That Photoshopped Image , albeit released prematurely, is proving to be far from the most outrageous statement made during The Era Of Trump Presidency .
Kathie Griffin doesn't hold a candle to Nikki Haley)

Engineering Faster Planes in WWII: Kelly Johnson, the P-38 and the P-80

Clarence "Kelly" Johnson (BSE AeroE ’32, MSE ’33) was a bold an innovative aircraft designer. One of his earlier planes, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, echoes that description well. It's unique twin-boom and central nacelle (for the cockpit) design gave it great stability and maneuverability at higher speeds than other planes offered... Until it entered a steep dive. Then things went south, fast.

Head Skunk

The name of the super-secret project was Suntan. It was to be the ultimate reconnaissance airplane, flying so high and so fast—it was to cruise above 100,000 feet at Mach 2—that detection would be unlikely and interception impossible. But it also would have been a giant winged thermos bottle, with a fuel tank full of liquid hydrogen at –400 degrees Fahrenheit and its outer skin baking at 350 degrees or more. A proposed hydrogen liquefaction plant dedicated to producing fuel for several of the airplanes would have sucked up 10 percent of the natural gas supply of Los Angeles in two years. Flying the highly unstable and explosive liquid to the airplanes’ bases would have required a fleet of heavy transports. An accident with one of the transports would have made the Hindenburg disaster look like a campfire.

DHS restarts Obama-era DACA amnesty after judge’s ruling

Amazing! Trump isn't allowed to rescind an executive order.I have never seen such a weak President.

DACA is back up and running, Homeland Security announced this weekend, saying President Trump’s attempt to phase out the Obama-era deportation amnesty is on hold while they fight a court case that ordered them to begin accepting applications again.

Only those among the 800,000 or so previously approved can submit applications for renewal, under the judger’s order. And those covered by DACA will no longer be granted advance parole, which had become a shortcut pathway to citizenship in the Obama administration.

But U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said it will otherwise restore DACA as it was on Sept. 5, before Mr. Trump decided on a six-month phaseout, saying the program was illegal.

Yemen’s Houthis release video of downing Saudi jet over Sana'a

The Houthis obliterate this aircraft with 2 dead on hits. If they can do this to an F-15,just think of what the Russians or Chinese could do. This is amazing and scary.

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement has released footage of the moment its forces shot down an F-15 fighter jet belonging to the Saudi-led coalition.

The video released by the Houthi-run al-Masirah television network early on Tuesday shows the exact moment when the aircraft is hit by a surface-to-air missile while flying over the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, the previous day.

The fate of the pilot is still unknown.

‘US is watching!’: Trump warns Iran amid crackdown on protests (VIDEO)

The US is instigating this Colored Revolution. This guy loves Israel and hates America!

Donald Trump has issued a strongly worded tweet warning Iran that “the US is watching” following the deaths of 20 people in anti-government protests that are sweeping the country.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry has hit back at the US president, saying that Trump should focus on his own country rather than tweet about civil unrest abroad.

"Instead of wasting his time sending useless and insulting tweets regarding other countries, he would be better off seeing to the domestic issues of his own country such as daily killings of dozens of people... and the existence of millions of homeless and hungry people," Bahram Ghasemi said, according to AFP.

Iranian Protesters Raise Stakes, Attacking Police Stations

Mr. Law and Order is egging on the Colored Revolution useful idiots to attack police stations and Iranian military bases.
Looks great for Israel and the Neocons. Makes the USA look like a Rogue State with an idiot in charge!

Violent crackdowns overnight on Sunday against protesters have led to a violent backlash in Iran, as some of the protesters look to raise the stakes with attacks of their own against police stations, with reports of some posts and stations being set ablaze.

Dealing With North Korea

If I were President of the United States, this is how I would deal with Kim Jong-un and the North Korean situation.

First, realize that Un’s theatrics are, from his own point of view, perfectly rational. He is not stupid. He looks at what happened to Muammar Gaddafi of Libya; murdered by mobs after kow-towing to the Great Satan. He notes the demise of Saddam Hussain of Iraq, another country that got on the wrong side of our imperialist nation; a similar dismal end befell him, too. It does not take much brain power to realize that Un’s only hope of escaping a similar fate would be, roughly, the one he has adopted: belligerence, nuclear armament, bellicosity, etc.

Here is what to do about the situation.

US Military’s Shortcomings: Most Expensive Does Not Mean Best

Despite being the leader in military spending, the US military has very serious shortcomings. It is mired in problems. Military planning deficiencies greatly reduce combat capabilities. Cost-effectiveness is a big problem. Being the most expensive does not automatically make the US military the best.

US Prepares for Forcible Entry Operations in Remote Theaters of War

Professionals study logistics, amateurs study tactics!

The facts and events summed up above are not front-page stories. They don’t tell much separately but tell a lot when put together and systematized. They lead to believe the United States is urgently preparing for a truly big war waged far away from its borders. The US military is sized, organized, and globally postured to fight it. A doctrine of expanding forces is not as straightforward as producing more fighters and weapon systems. Nothing is possible without logistics. That’s what is given the highest priority as the preparations are intensified.

US State Department Hints At Iran Overthrow: Are We Witnessing The Early Stages Of Regime Change?

The US State Department has issued a formal condemnation of the Iranian government following two days of economic protests centering in a handful of cities, calling the regime "a rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos" while announcing support for protesters. It fits a familiar script which seems to roll out when anyone protests for any reason in a country considered an enemy of the United States (whether over economic grievances or full on calling for government overthrow).

Iran - Early U.S. Support For Rioters Hints At A Larger Plan

In Iran - Regime Change Agents Hijack Economic Protests we looked at the developing U.S.-Israeli operation to instigate a revolt in Iran. What follows are a few more background points and a view on the developments since. A color revolution or revolt in Iran have only little chances of success. But even as the fail they can be used as pretext for additional sanctions and other anti-Iranian measures. The current incidents are thus only one part of a much larger plan.

Star Wars Last Jedi: Disney kills wisdom, love & evolution to offer endless war, controlled/enslaved peoples, empty hope. Corporate media reviews: 92%, audiences 52% favorable

*hyperlinks/videos live at source*

“How do democracies get turned into dictatorships? The democracies aren’t overthrown; they’re given away… Star Wars was really about the Vietnam War.” – George Lucas, creator of Star Wars
“The (Star Wars) Empire is like America ten years from now.” – George Lucas, 1973
Disney is corporate media, with corporate media and public education as propaganda arms for ongoing lying and illegal US rogue state empire. George Lucas wrote Star Wars in protest and warning that the US is the evil empire in that story. Therefore, and obviously, corporate media had to target, attack, and end that Star Wars story, and replace it with cheerleading for endless empire, endless war, and no hope for virtue.

Why the documentary must not be allowed to die

I first understood the power of the documentary during the editing of my first film, The Quiet Mutiny.

In the commentary, I make reference to a chicken, which my crew and I encountered while on patrol with American soldiers in Vietnam. “It must be a Vietcong chicken – a communist chicken,” said the sergeant. He wrote in his report: “enemy sighted.”

The chicken moment seemed to underline the farce of the war – so I included it in the film. That may have been unwise.

The regulator of commercial television in Britain – then the Independent Television Authority or ITA – had demanded to see my script.

What was my source for the political affiliation of the chicken? I was asked. Was it really a communist chicken, or could it have been a pro-American chicken?

WHY DOES THE NEW $1 BILLION US EMBASSY IN LONDON NEED THE FIRST MOAT SINCE MEDIEVAL TIMES

If you google “London moats”, you’ll probably alight on a link which will take you to “London’s Top 10 Moats: A Spotter’s Guide”. We had no idea there were so many and could only think of the “obvious” one surrounding the Tower of London, even if it’s waterless these days. According to the guide, a defensive ditch has surrounded the Tower since its origins in the eleventh century. The moat, which contained water from the thirteenth century until the 1840s, helps to protect the roughly cuboid “White Tower” keep, which gives the Tower of London its name. Built by William the Conqueror in 1078, the White Tower was resented as a symbol of oppression inflicted on London by the new ruling elite.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is "power projection", writ large, in Architecture; ugly, impersonal, cold, hostile, ruthless, and heartless, just as is the American deep state and its agenda.

This... is the kind of architecture signed off on by a government both terrified of its own people figuring out what it has done, with their money, and in their name, and terrified of the people around the world who are furious at the US government having expropriated their resources, to which this government has no moral right.

Debunking Two American Myths

There are two myths which are deeply imprinted in the minds of most US Americans which are extremely dangerous and which can result in a war with Russia.

-The first myth is the myth of the US military superiority.
-The second myth is the myth about the US invulnerability.

I believe that it is therefore crucial to debunk these myths before they end up costing us millions of lives and untold suffering.

JFK Files: The Truth Behind the Farce

by Clifford Shack
(henrymakow.com)

The American people have been promised the release of all the classified documents on the JFK assassination. It ain't never going to happen.

But that's ok. Just connect the dots. Those of us who have, know, that solving the whodunit aspect of the assassination is just the beginning. The real, meaty story lies in the motive. Since the assassination 54 years ago, millions of published research hours allow us to piece the story together in the context of that time.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand the basics of the case. Those with a minimal degree of understanding know that the CIA was clearly behind the assassination. Most of the guys involved in planning the assassination lived blocks away from Kennedy when he lived in McClean, Virginia.

George W. Bush Receives a Character Award at West Point: Duty, Honor, Atrocity

In George W. Bush’s home state of Texas, if you are an ordinary citizen found guilty of capital murder, the mandatory sentence is either life in prison or the death penalty. If, however, you are a former president of the United States responsible for initiating two illegal wars of aggression, which killed 7,000 U.S. servicemen and at least 210,000 civilians, displaced more than 10 million people from their homes, condoned torture, initiated a global drone assassination campaign, and imprisoned people for years without substantive evidence or trial in Guantanamo Bay, the punishment evidently is to be given the Thayer Award at West Point.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Rare Handel manuscript to be used for performance in Katikati (NZ)

A rare publication of a manuscript of the famous Messiah by composer George Frederick Handel that dates back to the 1700s has been discovered in the Bay of Plenty.

It is believed to be one of only four copies in the world.

The 233-year-old manuscript, printed from an etching on copper plate, is a reduction of the score of the Messiah for voice, harpsichord and violin. It is owned by Colin and Stephanie Smith of Tauranga.

The Western Bay Museum in Katikati will host a performance of excerpts from the 1784 Messiah manuscript by soloists from the University of Waikato in November. During the performance the manuscript will be on display for the first time in the southern hemisphere.

Mr Smith said the manuscript was in a pile of unsorted music offered as part of a house lot from the estate of a person in Christchurch some 40 years ago. He didn't sort the music until 10 or 12 years ago when he discovered the Handel manuscript about half-way down the pile.

Palestinian orchestra uses 'music as resistance'

Birzeit, Occupied West Bank - On a humid summer evening in Birzeit, the atmosphere in the Naseeb Azeez Shaheen Auditorium turned raucous when it was announced that two musicians from Gaza would be performing.

The audience had barely settled by the time the Palestine Youth Orchestra (PYO) launched into the familiar, dramatic opening bars of the Star Wars main theme.

For its 2017 tour, the PYO had scheduled two concerts in Amman, Jordan, followed by two dates in the occupied West Bank, in Nablus and Birzeit.

"We try to make a point to come to Palestine because this is home," PYO manager Zeina Khoury told Al Jazeera. "We do it once every few years, when we feel it is possible, and when we have the funding to do it. We tried this year and it worked out, but not as we had planned originally."

Webmaster's Commentary:
