MSNBC host Rachel Maddow's ratings slide continues despite unprecedented news cycle

MSNBC’s most popular program, “The Rachel Maddow Show,” continued in May its extended nosedive in the cable news ratings, and some critics say it’s because the show's eponymous host has spent the past several years misleading viewers.

Maddow finished the month of May behind five different Fox News programs in total viewership, including non-primetime shows “The Five” and “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

Maddow’s performance in May was even more alarming among the key demographic of adults age 25-54, where she averaged 455,000 viewers to finish tied for No. 7 in cable news, behind five different Fox News shows and even one program on MSNBC’s fellow liberal network CNN.

This title was originally "Out of the ashes, a Pheonix."

It only took us days of protesting, eventually involving all 5o states and several other countries, but all four officers involved in the death of George Floyd have finally been charged.

There seems to be reason for hope, despite the added pain and in some cases loss of life that that caused.

If you see only one, see this one:

But you should see more than one if you can. I have curated a selection, not comprehensive by any means, here.

Because maybe we are getting somewhere after all.

HRC calls on China to “get Trump’s tax returns,” claims media will “richly reward”

(INTELLIHUB) — In should only be considered nothing short of a psychological operation ran by the bought and paid for Democrat-swayed Bill Gates-funded multimedia conglomerate MSNBC during a segment of the Rachel Maddow Show on Monday in which Hillary Clinton and Rachel Maddow called for the “hypothetical” help of the Chinese in the latest attempt by the powers-that-be to program the masses and create more chaos in America.

Both Clinton and Maddow reveled in glee while they presented their twisted script.

Coronavirus Propaganda Mimics War Propaganda

In the period leading up to the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Bush administration and its media accomplices waged a relentless propaganda campaign to win political support for what turned out to be one of the most disastrous foreign policy mistakes in American history.

So they created a narrative using a mélange of half-truths, faintly plausible fabrications, and outright lies.

Tragically, the American people never placed the burden of proof squarely with the war cheerleaders to justify their absolutely crazed effort to remake the Middle East. In hindsight, this is obvious, but at the time propaganda did its job. Disinformation is part and parcel of the fog of war.

What will hindsight make clear about our reaction to COVID-19 propaganda? Will we regret shutting down the economy as much as we ought to regret invading Iraq?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, I would never want to be a Christian Scientist with appendicitis; that being said, I want to, and will, as long as humanly possible, wait until the "Covid-19 Jab" has been around for a while, and is not killing, or destroying, people's immune systems.

US gov puts $5 million bounty on Venezuela’s head of crypto

The man responsible for the administration of the petro crypto, Joselit Ramírez, is wanted by the US government over allegations of money laundering and other crimes.

In brief
ICE and US Homeland Security have added Venezuela's crypto chief to its list of most wanted fugitives.
The US government is offering a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of Joselit Ramírez.
ICE alleges Ramírez has violated money laundering laws and US sanctions.
The head of Venezuela’s cryptocurrency agency is now a wanted man.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, put out a bulletin today adding Joselit Ramírez, chief of the National Superintendency of Cryptoassets (Sunacrip), to its list of most wanted fugitives.

Webmaster's Commentary:

WOW, if the US government is paying that much of a bounty for info on Ramirez, this guy must really be doing a great job for the Venezuelan government!!!

Israeli Defense Minister Preparing for Annexation of West Bank

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said on Monday that he ordered the military to start preparing for the coming annexation of parts of the West Bank. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans on annexing Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and parts of the Jordan Valley, a plan bound to face backlash from Palestinians. Netanyahu promised to start cabinet talks on annexation on July 1st.

The areas Israel plans to annex reflects the blueprint of President Trump’s “peace plan” that was released in January. The plan was immediately rejected by Palestinians since it includes the annexation of the Jordan Valley and illegal settlements. The plan also includes Israeli-only access roads in the West Bank, and would essentially legitimize apartheid rule.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Years ago, in various posts on this site, I warned Hamas and Fatah that if all they could accomplish was arguing among themselves, the hunk of land that they would get, to be able to establish a functional Palestine, would be smaller than Lichtenstein; now, because of the way the settlements have been engineered, coupled with this annexation, the Palestinians won't even have that, because there are no more contiguous borders for Palestine.

Folks, this "timetable" for annexation is less than one month away; this is most probably going to get ugly before it's a fait accompli.

It is disturbing to hear people who should know better describe the George Floyd riots as anarchism. The riots are not anarchistic, they are nihilistic. The people engaged in looting, arson, and widespread assault have zero comprehension of political philosophy.

There are, of course, a whole lot of people demonstrating who are not involved in crime and violence. However, these are the dupes, the idealists routinely exploited by the state and its propaganda media.

Rampaging “anarchists”—many undoubtedly agent provocateurs—are not interested in justice, fairness, nonviolence, and peaceful dialogue. They are providing a pretext to usher in a fascist police state.

The George Floyd riots are problem-reaction-solution exemplified. After Ronald Reagan initiated his “zero tolerance” drug war, the Pentagon began the process of converting local police departments into “thin blue line” paramilitary gangs paid for by know-nothing taxpayers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) Nimmo is rarely wrong in his predictions; I hope to heck he is on this one, but looking at the way in which the rioting and looting has been allowed to escalate by the Powers that Be, rather than them taking back the streets from the looters, to make them safe for everyone again, this appears to me a distinct possibility.

The next major American holiday falls on 4 July, Independence Day, which is a Saturday this year; please, to all of our readers and listeners, stay safe out there, and stay watchful, particularly if you live in a large, urban area.

As the situation deteriorates all across the nation, we need to stop and ask how we got here.

Racial politics in America are a simmering pot waiting to boil over, they have been for decades. This is only exacerbated as the poverty created by the (totally unnecessary) lockdown starts to hit home.

As the weather gets hot, and jobs dry up and prices skyrocket and the small businesses close…people will get tense. They will get angry.

This is dry tinder which can burst into flames at any moment.

All it took was a spark.

Now the protesters swarm cities all across America, as windows are smashed, shops looted and public buildings set afire. Civilians are being maced and tasered and the rubber bullets are flying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have never, in my life, been more grateful for living in a small, rural part of the country than I am now, here in Indiana.

But my heart goes out for innocent people who are getting badly physically hurt out there, and businesses, built over decades by minority entrepreneurs, and others, going up in smoke right now.

A mob of rioters set a homeless man’s belongings on fire in Austin, Texas, and trashed his encampment. The Left then claimed the heinous act was the work of conspiracy site Infowars, but Infowars’ reporters say otherwise.
As rioters clashed with police and set cars on fire in Austin on Sunday, the mayhem touched an often-forgotten segment of the Texan city: the homeless. Video footage shared on social media showed a homeless man’s mattress and belongings being dragged into a fire by rioters, as a camera crew from conspiracy site Infowars filmed the carnage.

According to one self-described “anti-capitalist” and “anti-fascist” activist, the blaze was started by the Infowars team, so they could film it and frame the left-wing rioters for the act.

Commenters zoomed in on the pixelated head of one of the arsonists, and claimed his hat was emblazoned with Infowars’ logo. However, it’s impossible to tell from the grainy footage.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That a homeless man, should have his precious few possessions deliberately set on fire by anyone, is an absolute travesty, no matter who did this.

And although I could be surprised, I don't think that the Infowars people did this; this is more Antifa-speed.

AI to choose your news? Microsoft to get rid of journalists & replace them with ROBOTS

It appears no one is safe from the rise of the bots: Microsoft has announced that it will be axing its team of journalists that work for, and replacing them with news-savvy artificial intelligence.

The tech giant currently contracts several dozen journalists to select and curate news stories that appear on MSN and its Edge internet browser. But starting in June, these media workers will be out of a job – with their responsibilities being delegated to software designed to sniff out the most suitable news for human consumption.

One anonymous employee who will soon be out of work told the Guardian that there is an ironic element to his precarious future. “I spend all my time reading about how automation and AI is going to take all our jobs, and here I am – AI has taken my job,” he said. The journalist added that he feels Microsoft is taking a big risk with automated news aggregation, as the company has strict editorial guidelines when it comes to curating content.

NYC Mayor De Blasio's Daughter Arrested At Protest; Fire Next To White House; California Hit With Looting, Violence

Update (2150ET): The daughter of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Chiara de Blasio, was arrested at a Saturday night protest in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.

Chiara de Blasio, 25, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. after cops declared an unlawful assembly at 12th Street and Broadway in Lower Manhattan, the sources said.

“That was a real hotspot, police cars were getting burned there, people were throwing and yelling, fighting with cops. There were thousands of people in that area at that time,” the source said.

She gave 181 East End Avenue as her address, otherwise known as Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s Upper East Side residence. -New York Post

The very next day, de Blasio warned that "Change is coming in this city."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yesterday, Mike and I were watching two screens in our living room; on the Ipad, the feed from Spacex, documenting the docking of the Dragon spacecraft and the ISS. On the large-screen TV, the Fox news coverage of these riots, which have gone national in scope.

The contrast, between the incredible success Spacex and NASA had, with the textbook docking of spacecraft with the ISS, and the anger, and violence, on the streets of major metropolitan cities in the US could not have possibly been more stark,or soul-jolting.

What more than slightly amazes me, is the understanding that this young woman didn't realize that if people knew whose daughter she was, in the group with which she was protesting, she could have been risking intense physical bodily harm, not to mention death.

The first thing you have to do, in order for something to get fixed, is to admit that there is a problem; and this is where the highest level of government, industry, and society's guardians, like teachers and those in religious movements, have to take a long-needed first step.

And a big question that must be asked here is, who can American society afford to make expendable?!?

In my world, the short answer is, no one.

We understand how to give a first-class education to every child; at least, the private, enrichment schools do, schools like Kumon, where affluent parents send their kids when they are not achieving their full potential at their regular schools.

And what these schools do is utterly not rocket science. They find out where the kid is actually functioning, through a series of evaluations, engage the kid in those areas where they are weak, and make education fun, and turn the experience of learning into something wonderful, so the kid progresses.

Oh, and did I mention that these schools are not unionized, and that the teachers are not paid anywhere near as much as a tenured, public school teacher?!? But the men and women who serve in these schools do so, not because it is a "safe job", where it is really damn near impossible to get fired.

But they are teaching in these private environments because they legitimately love kids, and want to see kids do better.

One of the worst forms of child abuse, is allowing a kid to go from class to class, and "graduate" from high school illiterate; innumerate; and pathologically incapable of logical thought processes; and yet in our inner cities, we see this happen all the time, and it should be criminalized.

And the abuse unto death of an already restrained suspect, by police department members who think they "can get away with it", should never, ever happen again in this country again, period, end of discussion.

The Evil Black Hats work for:
Dictatorial control of We the Sheeple.
Parasitic evil to engorge themselves.
Culling their slave-race to best manage those “human resources;” killing perhaps 6 billion people as 1 billion slaves are sufficient.

Minneapolis has seen looting and unrest since death of George Floyd, 46

Insurrection Act of 1807 gives Trump authority to use army for domestic unrest

Last time military was sent to put down riot was in Los Angeles in 1992

Rioting erupted in LA in wake of acquittal of officers who beat Rodney King

As unrest spread across dozens of American cities on Friday, the Pentagon took the rare step of ordering the Army to put several active-duty US military police units on the ready to deploy to Minneapolis, where the police killing of George Floyd sparked the widespread protests.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) I remember the Rodney King riots, because I was working in Pasadena at the time.

A police officer came to the Architectural Firm where I was working, and informed the company leadership that police were expecting the rioting to spill over into that area of Pasadena, and that we should evacuate, and return to our homes immediately.

I did that, crying all the way home; but I remember what happened the next morning as vividly as though it just happened yesterday.

Two men, the actor Edgar James Olmos, and the comedian Arsenio Hall, went on every major news outlet in greater Los Angeles, and told people to go home, and that the police would shoot to kill.

And Angelos watched as Edgar James Olmos, picked up a broom, and began to clear some of the rubble which had resulted from the looting of various stores in South Central Los Angeles, where some of the rioting had been the worst.

And again, many of the businesses destroyed, had been the life's work of African-American entrepreneurs, who saw their efforts getting burned to the ground before their very eyes.

Trump the “Peace Candidate”: Contemplating War During Pandemic against Two Global Competitors. Nuclear Weapons “Tests” against China and Russia

The Pentagon and national security agencies directed by the White House have also been discussing the viability of engaging in war with those same two global competitors Russia and China, either individually or even simultaneously. Yes, it is true that many countries wargame certain scenarios that are unlikely ever to occur, but there is nevertheless a certain consistency in the bellicosity that comes like an endless stream out of the Trump White House.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I marginally supported President Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016, because he did talk about ending the no-win wars in which the US government had enmeshed its military for years on end, with no resolution in sight.

And I am very supportive of his work to get US troops out of Afghanistan.

But that being said, I loathe it, that he believes that a "male member measuring contest" between himself, President Xi of China, and President Putin of Russia, through an atomic test, is an answer to US security right now, because it is not.

Worse still, such an act by the US may well be quite liable to start a nuclear arms race which could make the potential use of, let's say, a "tactical nuclear weapon" more "acceptible" to the American public, because they don't understand the utter devastation the use of such a weapon can wreak.

And that damage may be utterly unrecoverable.

May 30 06:55

How Far Will the Trump Regime and Congress Push China?

The US is waging undeclared war on China by other means.

Trump and congressional hardliners escalated things beyond where their predecessors went.

What’s going on is all about aiming to undermine China’s growing political, economic, financial, industrial, technological, and military development and prominence on the world stage.

It has nothing to do with a PRC military or other security threat. China is at peace with its neighbors and other nations.

On Thursday, Pompeo continued his war of words on China.

Falsely accusing Beijing of eroding Hong Kong’s liberties — a US specialty at home and abroad — he urged “decertification” of the city, saying:

“I can no longer certify that Hong Kong continues to warrant…deferential treatment under US law.”

He falsely claimed that China’s new national security law “contradicts the spirit (of) the one country, two systems framework.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unless some common sense steps are taken here, the new low in US/China relations is going to crash and hit the floor, leading for a potential escalation from a war of words and trade, to a shooting war.

So President Trump, a word here, please; we do not have the troop strength; the manufacturing; the weaponry; or the money to pick a military confrontation with China at this time.

Potentially, both countries need each other to both survive and prosper, economically.

To exorcise my worst fears about the coming decade, I chose to write a bleak chronicle of it.

If, by December 2030, developments have invalidated it, I hope such dreary prognoses will have played a part by spurring us to appropriate action.

Before our pandemic-induced lockdowns, politics seemed to be a game. Political parties behaved like sports teams having good or bad days, scoring points that propelled them up a league table that, at season’s end, determined who would form a government and then do next to nothing.

Then, the COVID-19 pandemic stripped away the veneer of indifference to reveal the political reality: some people do have the power to tell the rest of us what to do. Lenin’s description of politics as “who does what to whom” seemed more apt than ever.

The world’s largest airline trade group has called for immunity passports, thermal screening, masks, and physical distancing to be a part of the industry’s strategy for returning to “normal” operations.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), which represents 299 airlines, recently issued their publication, Biosecurity for Air Transport A Roadmap for Restarting Aviation, which outlines their strategy to open up air travel as governments begin to lift travel restrictions.

Under a section titled, “The passenger experience” and “Temporary biosecurity measures,” the IATA describes their vision of post-COVID-19 flights. The organization calls for contact tracing, a controversial method of tracking the civilian population to track the spread of COVID-19.

JAMA Bombshell: "universal masking may lead to more transmission of Covid-19"

A new article published in The New England Journal of Medicine points out that the main benefit of masks is that it eases anxiety of some people, which JAMA points out "may not be strictly logical." Here are some key excerpts from the New JAMA article: "We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Focusing on universal masking alone may, paradoxically, lead to more transmission of Covid-19 if it diverts attention from implementing more fundamental infection-control measures...fear and anxiety are better countered with data and education than with a marginally beneficial mask, particularly in light of the worldwide mask shortage, but it is difficult to get clinicians to hear this message in the heat of the current crisis.

Mr. President, a word, please; perhaps if you had been just a little more supportive of the independent media which played a more than significant role in getting you elected the first time, you might not be running into this problem now.

As we both know, mail-in voting can definitely lead to fraud; this has to go to the Supreme Court, and right when they re-convene, with the White House submitting an "amicus curiae" to them about this situation. Then, you are going to have to cross your fingers that they will feel strongly enough about this to rule in your favor.

IF not, sir, you will be consigned to become another "one term wonder" as President.
