Shocking moment a flash-bang grenade is thrown into right-wing Patriot Prayer rally, igniting violent clashes with Antifa in Portland

Four people were arrested amid the violence on Saturday, which broke out when the pro-Trump group's scheduled march encountered an opposing group associated with a second nearby rally. Neither rally was directly related to President Donald Trump's immigration policy, which drew peaceful protests elsewhere in Portland and across the country on Saturday. Police said four people were transported to area hospitals by ambulance, three with non serious injuries and one with a serious but non-life threatening injury. One police officer also suffered what was believed to be a non-serious and non-life-threatening injury as a result of being struck by a projectile.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are moments when I am very grateful Mike and I live on Oahu; looking at this clash, I am very grateful for this right now.

Is this the beginning of the end for peaceful dialogue in this country?!? I sure hope not; but these images demonstrate how wrong I just might be in that hope.

The Supreme Court’s Deference to the Pentagon

Imagine a county sheriff that took a suspected drug-law violator into custody more than 10 years ago. Since then, the man has been held in jail without being accorded a trial. The district attorney and the sheriff promise to give the man a trial sometime in the future but they’re just not sure when. Meanwhile the man sits in jail indefinitely just waiting for his trial to begin.

Difficult to imagine, right? That’s because most everyone would assume that a judge would never permit such a thing to happen.

Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Continues to Disrupt Marine Life

Researchers at the University of Southern Mississippi have studied the microbes found on several shipwrecks in the vicinity of the Deepwater Horizon, the oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico that exploded in 2010, killing 11 workers and spewing an estimated 4 million barrels of crude oil into the Gulf. Their research, published June 28 in the journal Scientific Reports, claims the oil residue has caused fundamental changes in those microbes, which play an important role in carbon dioxide absorption by the oceans and are essential building blocks in the food chain for marine life.

The ultimate ecological and financial costs of this disaster continue to unfold apace.

Obsessed With Regime Change: Trump’s Iran Gambit Won’t Pay Off

It is as clear as day that President Trump is obsessed with regime change in Iran. What is not made clear is how much his gambit is damaging to Americans and American interests.

Without cause or justification, Mr. Trump pulled out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA), striking a hard blow to America’s European allies – and its own credibility. Moreover, he threatened European countries with secondary sanctions should they continue to trade with Iran.

To top it all, in his latest move, he has called for all Iranian oil exports to be cut off by November. Or in practical terms, he is imposing an economic blockade on Iran. This is a similar scenario that was played out by the British in 1951 against Iran and Dr. Mossadegh – who was later overthrown in the 1953 British-US coup. But today, the IR of Iran is not the Iran of 1953, and the brunt of American demands and actions will not be borne by Iran alone.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What President Trump cannot accomplish economically, post the mid-term elections, against Iran, he will try to accomplish by force against it.

And that ... is where he will well and truly fail, because in order to attack Iran successfully, he cannot be fighting Russia at the same time, as Russia has vowed to defend Iran should it be attacked militarily.

The US military, at this time in its history, does not have the money, the troop strength, the manufacturing, nor the weaponry to go head to head with Russia on Iran; and I would like to hope that the White House knows this.

US Senate Confirms New Military Commander In Afghanistan

The United States Senators approved a lengthy slate of nominations in the waning hours of work before their Fourth of July break, including a new commander for US and NATO’s Resolute Support Forces in Afghanistan.

Lt. Gen. Austin Scott Miller, the 17th commander to oversee the American and NATO mission in Afghanistan, will succeed Gen. John Nicholson in that role and received his fourth star as part of the confirmation process.

Miller had a largely friendly confirmation hearing before the committee last week, in which several senators said they expected him to be confirmed easily.

He was questioned on plans to turn around the 17-year-old war.

According to a report by The Hill, US Senator Elizabeth Warren pushed Miller the hardest on the issue, quoting several past defense leaders as saying Afghanistan reached a turning point.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Changing the military command head in Afghanistan is somewhat akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, after it got rammed by the iceberg. Nothing here will change the outcome.

IF NATO and the White House had two braincells left to rub together, they would have their troops exit as quickly as is safely possible, then negotiate with whatever govenment was left standing in Kabul for the oil pipeline rights, rare earh development, and the opium poppies, the production of which has SOARED under US/NATO occupation.

Birthright walkout is met with vitriolic rage in Israel — ‘Radicals’ ‘You will get raped’

The former congressman Brian Baird once said that when you criticize Israel even privately to Israeli officials, they flip out on you, even if you’re a congressman; and this is the most important takeaway of the wonderful Birthright walkout that happened yesterday and that is now all over the Jewish press. A group of five young American Jewish women on their free propaganda trip to Israel kept demanding information about the occupation, and at last left the trip to join a tour of occupied Hebron by the Israeli dissident group Breaking the Silence. And the Israelis went crazy.

Princely Visits

While the British prince was touring the country and uttering the fitting phrases about a "just peace", another prince from overseas was doing the same. Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of President Trump, was also touring the country. He was accompanied by Jason Greenblatt, another Jewish emissary from Trump. This holy pair, who make no secret of their utter contempt for the Palestinians, is supposed to make peace.

How will they succeed where dozens of other initiatives have failed? Why should they have more chance than the dozens who preceded them?

Well, they have a Big Plan. A Plan so Big that cannot be refused. A Secret Plan.

Secret from whom? From the Palestinians, of course. Binyamin Netanyahu was a partner in shaping it. If not actually its author.

Today, several wars later (who is counting?), Israel dominates in different ways all of historical Palestine. And peace seems far, far away.

The agenda of the United States government to extradite WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange is kind of like Israel’s nuclear arsenal: everyone knows it exists, but government officials refuse to openly confirm it. US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has admitted that Assange’s arrest is a priority, President Trump has said he’d support Sessions in taking that action, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has labeled WikiLeaks a “hostile non-state intelligence service,” and the ranking Democrat in the US House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff has stated that he plans on questioning Assange “when he is in US custody.” But so far none have come right out and admitted that there is an extradition request for Assange or what the legal basis for it might be.

Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA) is blaming a series of death threats on comments made by President Trump over Twitter, following her call last weekend for the public to form into mobs and physically confront members of the Trump administration.

"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere," said Waters.

Addressing a crowd in Los Angeles on Saturday, Waters, 79, packaged the entirety of her detractors into the same category as would-be KKK assassins in the same breath, and then insinuated that if they don't successfully take her out she would become "like a wounded animal."

“I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” Waters told the crowd in Los Angeles.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My Dear Representative Waters; as a 69 year old Methodist choral conductor, and Christian Pacifist Activist, I wish no one any physical harm.

But what you are advocating, which I can only characterise, as "mobocracy", is the most toxic energy I can imagine with which to poison the political process in this country.

Physical harm to anyone, from either party, for their political beliefs, is opening the door to complete dictatorship.; I would like to hope that inspite of our political divisions, neither one of us would want to be the agent responsible for bringing this about.

Your district, the 43rd, has been "engineered" (some would say, gerrymandered) to create a "safe seat" for Democrats in Congress. But if you are going to make it a "bully pulpit" for violence, you are not representing the people who put you there, or their needs and concerns.

Your party is behaving like a massively obstructionist element in Congress, and appears to be singularly, almost pathologically, incapable of agreeing with the Republicans on anything, including immigration, which is of great concern for many in the Greater LA area.

So, can you possibly abandon this platform of insult, confront, and hurt people who believe differently from you, and go back to the business of actually doing what you were hired by the people of the 43rd Congressional District, which is really represent their needs and concerns?!?

I and your constituents, are thanking you in advance on this.

US President Donald Trump will suffocate Iran’s “dictatorial ayatollahs”, his close ally Rudy Giuliani said on Saturday, suggesting his move to re-impose sanctions was aimed squarely at regime change.

The former New York mayor who is now Trump’s personal lawyer was addressing a conference of the Paris-based National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an umbrella bloc of groups of exiled Iranians opposed to the Islamic Republic.

“We are now realistically being able to see an end to the regime in Iran,” Giuliani said, pointing to recent protests in the country sparked by a currency collapse after Trump pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal. Giuliani added:

When the greatest economic power stops doing business with you then you collapse … and the sanctions will become greater, greater and greater

At the same conference last year, John Bolton, who was appointed Trump’s National Security Advisor in April this year, told NCRI members they would be ruling Iran before 2019.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The P5+1 deal was working perfectly, at least according to the IAEA, before "wreck-it Donald" decided to withdraw from it, under pressure from Israel's Netanyahu, and his biggest contributor, Sheldon Adelson.

And were I thinking about regime change in Iran, were I Rudy Giuliani, I would perhaps, temper my enthusiasm.

As long as its major partner/power players and in Europe, continue to trade with it (and using other than US dollars to pay for Iran's oil), Like Russia and China, Iran will be in no condition to collapse economically any time soon.

Meaning, if you want regime change in Iran, you (read: the US) will have to invade it, fight it, and conquer it, which will just get Russia's Putin laughing so hard at the insanity of it, that he will barely be able to walk.

And the reason I say this, is that at this time in its history, the US military doesn't have the weaponry; the money; the troop strength; or the manufacturing to successfully invade and conquer Iran.

And if there is anyone on President Trump's staff with even a little tiny bit of knowledge in Iranian regional history (which I would sincerely doubt at this time), they will advise President Trump that Russia has historically stated, most emphatically, that should Iran be invaded, Russia will come to its defense.

War with Russia... over Iran?!? In the immortal word/words of the TV show character Tony Soprano: "Fuggetaboutit!!"

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) says that agents working for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein have been spying on his office, Gohmert told WMAL's "Morning on the Mall" Friday.

“I don’t doubt for a minute that he has people who have been looking into my background. I’ve been told as much by some other folks,” said the Congressman, who added that he did not believe such an operation was overseen by Rod Rosenstein personally.

“There’s always deniability,” he said.

Gohmert recounted a fiery exchange with Rosenstein during Congressional testimony last week in which the Congressman grilled the Deputy AG over not having read a FISA warrant renewal he signed.

"If I were a FISA judge," Gohmert told WMAL, "now that we have him on record refusing to say that you even read it - I would never accept an application signed by you again, because you don't even know what you were signing"

Last week, The Free Thought Project reported that cops were caught involuntarily injecting unruly suspects with the powerful sedative ketamine, which police classify as a date rape drug.

Since the initial story was made public, more details have emerged in the case, revealing a twisted study that has been going on for many years, researching the effects of different sedatives on patients, many times without their knowledge or consent.

This research has been taking place at Hennepin Healthcare, under the supervision of doctors and full knowledge and encouragement from the local police.

The Star Tribune interviewed numerous victims who were involuntarily enrolled in the study, and not made aware of the fact that they were drugged until afterward.

Representatives of Hennepin Healthcare have defended the study, insisting that sedating agitated people can save lives.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Soda is nasty stuff. And it is HUGE business.

It is subsidized by US taxpayers through food stamps. No one likes the food stamp program more than the soda companies and the sugar companies, which are also subsidized in other ways. We then subsidize the obesity that ensues from drinking soda and piles of sugar via Medicaid and Medicare. People flow into the healthcare system, often the subsidized healthcare system, with all sorts of diseases driven by sugar consumption. This then benefits other crony companies in the medical arena.

Soda has a place. It’s supposed to be a treat.

I say “supposed” not from a moral perspective, but from a just how our bodies react to sugar perspective. If you want to gorge on non subsidized soda all day long and die of diabetes on your own dime, hey, go too it. But subsidizing the stuff is costing taxpayers billions.

Amazon may have paid nearly $1 billion for the online pharmacy, PillPack, but what is the real cost of this acquisition going to be for consumers? In the aftermath of Amazon’s lofty purchase, three of the largest pharmacies in the U.S. (Walgreen’s, CVS and Rite Aid) lost a collective $11 billion in market value in one day. The stench of “corporate monopoly” is in the air — and it’s coming from Amazon.

Some might argue that Amazon is not considered to be a full-blown monopoly quite yet; Wal-Mart still reigns as the nation’s largest retailer. But estimates suggest Amazon will surpass the nation’s favorite discount retail store within five or ten years. Further, Amazon has cemented itself across multiple markets, with the sole intent of taking over. In truth, Amazon is more than a monopoly: It’s a threat.

Funnily enough, Wal-Mart was reportedly in talks with PillPack about a possible acquisition — before Amazon outbid them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The unasked question here, is what will it do, ultimately, to the safety of the pharmaceutical products it will be selling?!?

And is product safety going to be in even a worse shape than it is right now, which is not at all great?!?

Let's look at a study, released last year, about the dangers of cancer, courtesy of bith control pills and chemical IUD devices.
Hormonal contraceptives and hair dyes increase breast cancer risk

The study, done as a Finnish doctoral dissertation, indicates that women who used hormonal contraceptive pills, or hormone-treated IUDs, were statistically more likely to get breast cancers than those who are not.
This study states:

"n her recent doctoral dissertation, researcher Sanna Heikkinen from the University of Helsinki and Finnish Cancer Registry evaluates the contribution of the use of hormonal contraceptives and hair dyes to the spectrum of breast cancer risk factors.

The analysis included self-reported survey data from 8000 breast cancer patients and 20,000 controls from Finland.

According to the results, use of hormonal intrauterine device was associated with 52% increased risk of breast cancer in post-menopausal women, when compared to women who had used copper intrauterine device.

The use of other hormonal contraceptives was, by contrast, associated with 32% higher breast cancer risk among younger women under 50 when compared to women who did not use hormonal contraceptives.

There was also a 23% observed increase in the risk of breast cancer among women who dyed their hair compared to those who didn't."

When was the last time the ladies who read this site, or the men who love them, got that info from their OB/GYN doctors?!? Most probably, never.

And with an Amazon monopoly on medications, the problems of side-effects of meds which are being pushed on the population, will do nothing but get worse.

Listen: Israel lobby seeks to erase occupation from Virginia schoolbooks

Human rights activists in Virginia are fighting to protect the quality and accuracy of schoolbooks as Israel advocacy organizations seek substantial changes to the texts.

The suggested changes would distort the way Israeli history is depicted, deliberately whitewashing its military occupation and ongoing policies of land theft, apartheid and expulsion of Palestinians.

These changes have been proposed to the Virginia Department of Education by the California-based Institute for Curriculum Services – a “strategic initiative” of the Jewish Community Relations Council, an organization with an active Israel lobby.

ICS director Aliza Craimer Elias recently boasted in a video interview that her firm works “behind the scenes” with textbook publishers to edit entries about Jews, Judaism and Israel and to train classroom educators with ICS curricula.

People Keep Dying in Chicago as Politicians Stay Stuck on Stupid

Since the drug gangs are shooting up your city to the tune of about 10 people a day, you can always blame guns. Well, sort of. That excuse doesn’t really work either. Blaming guns for Chicago violence means that gun-control laws don’t work since Chicago is the gun control capital of the US. Firearms owner ID cards don’t work. Waiting periods don’t work. Mandatory firearms training doesn’t work. Firearms purchase permits and magazine capacity restrictions don’t work. Regulating gun stores out of Chicago doesn’t work. None of that works because criminals don’t obey the gun control laws. Tell the reporters that you need more laws anyway. You can always blame guns coming in from some other state..even though those other states don’t have the violence problem you see in Chicago, Illinois.

Daisy Luther: Is The Media Deliberately Trying To Spawn Civil War 2.0?

Everyone is talking about a looming civil war on American soil, but they’re all blaming the “other” side. The media is deliberately trying to stir things up with breathless headlines about how awful the “other” side is. And it’s working so well it could lead us right to Civil War 2.0.

The fact is, both the Left and the Right are to blame, threatening those who don’t have the same worldview. What it’s essential for us to keep in mind is that these are the opinions of the extremes of both sides. We in America have had conservative and liberal points of view along with everything in between for decades without the constant, looming threat of violence.

Here are some examples.
For example, Wendy Wolfe Herd, CEO of the dating app Bumble and a member of Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30, was the victim of a cyber attack launched by a “neo-Nazi organization” that posted Herd’s personal details online, as well as the contact information of her staff.

Brandon Smith: "Trade War Provides Perfect Cover For The Elitist Engineered Global Reset"

Over the past several months, I have been examining the underlying or hidden motivations behind the currently expanding global trade war, including the impressive level of cognitive dissonance surrounding the issue.

Now that acceptance of the trade war as a reality is setting in, the Trump bandwagon is doubling down and embracing blind enthusiasm for what they assume will be a victorious outcome, no matter how long it takes. Though the team-geopolitics mentality is enticing in some ways, I don’t find much in the facts and evidence department to support the notion of America winning a global trade war.

As I outlined in my article America’s Debt Dependence Makes It An Easy Economic Target, as long as the U.S. retains historic levels of debt on a government, corporate and consumer level, and as long as we remain addicted to foreign investment in that debt, trade war opponents have all the ammunition they need.

Military Seizes Control Of Water Supplies As Venezuelan Infrastructure Collapses

Trump Rapidly Expands Cold War-Era Footprint In Europe To Counter Russia

Does ‘America first’ really mean ‘Europe first’ in the preparation for war with Russia?

At the expense of the American taxpayer, the Trump administration wants to restore the Cold War-era footprint in Europethrough massive investments in military infrastructure to deter Russian aggression and reinforce allies.

It is odd that the administration wants to spend massive amounts of money on infrastructure projects in Europe, but has yet to fix America’s crippling D- infrastructure. Somehow, the priorities of this administration of ‘America first’ have been lost through the alignment with the military-industrial-complex and Washington’s warmongers.

The Trump administration asked for $828 million in 2019 to expand and upgrade military infrastructure projects throughout Europe as part of a continuous fearmongering campaign against Russia to allocate more money to defense. Nearly half of that construction funding would go towards U.S. Air Force projects.

How Long Can the Federal Reserve Stave Off the Inevitable?

When are America’s global corporations and Wall Street going to sit down with President Trump and explain to him that his trade war is not with China but with them. The biggest chunk of America’s trade deficit with China is the offshored production of America’s global corporations. When the corporations bring the products that they produce in China to the US consumer market, the products are classified as imports from China.

In other words, to put it in the most simple and clear terms, millions of Americans lost their middle class jobs not because China played unfairly, but because American corporations betrayed the American people and exported their jobs. “Making America great again” means dealing with these corporations, not with China. When Trump learns this, assuming anyone will tell him, will he back off China and take on the American global corporations?

Iraqi cleric Sadr scales back his militia

Iraqi cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, whose political bloc came first in a May parliamentary election, said on Thursday he was scaling back his militia to strengthen the incoming government and its security forces.

The cleric’s list won the most seats in an election marred by low turnout and allegations of fraud.

He is currently embroiled in negotiations with the heads of other blocs over forming the next government, in which he is expected to play a leading role.

Sadr said in a handwritten order published on his website that his Saraya al-Salam (Peace Companies) militia must disband in all cities except for the capital Baghdad and the cities of Karbala and Samarra, both homes to holy Shi’ite shrines.

The cleric had earlier this month called for a nationwide disarmament campaign after an arms cache exploded in his stronghold district of Sadr City in Baghdad, killing 18 people. Political opponents said the cache had belonged to his militia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yemen President Rejects UN Deal to Take Hodeidah, Raising Fear for Civilians

The fate of the Yemeni aid port of Hodeidah is in many ways the fate of millions of civilians across Northern Yemen, who rely on it as a sole source of food and medicine. The city is under attack by Saudi-led forces, and that is a massive risk.

The UN has tried to prevent this by negotiating a takeover of the port, an idea supported by the Houthi rebels who hold it. The deal, however, appears to have failed, with Saudi-backed President Hadi rejecting any deal to let the UN manage the city as an aid port.

Barring any changes, this leaves the Saudi-led forces continuing an invasion, reliant heavily on airstrikes and drawing increasingly near the ports themselves. This raises the likelihood of the port being severely damaged, and inoperable.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is precisely what the Butcher of Yemen, Saudi Prince Salman, wants to see happen here.

He will most probably order his military to shoot to kill those with the bad luck to be left alive after the port is taken, including infants; children; women; and the medically fragile elderly.

In the hours following the bombing of the MSF facility that Monday, June 11, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis acknowledged that the U.S. military advises the Coalition of “no-fire areas where there are civilians, where there’s mosques, hospitals.” When asked specifically about the cholera hospital, Mattis said emphatically, “We have to find out what happened there.” Mattis told the gaggle of reporters that he “just got off the phone” with Gen. Joseph Votel, the head of U.S. Central Command, and that Votel’s staff was “scrambling” to determine what the Coalition had done. It was another admission on Mattis’ part that, at least this time, the United States would independently assess the Coalition’s actions, a responsibility which the Pentagon has not always acknowledged.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Saudis have deliberately bombed schools and hospitals in Yemen for the last 3 years; this is no different from their usual MO, methodically destroying what, for civilized people, should be sanctuaries of healing and respite.

It's presisely what the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Mohammed bin Salman, wants to see happen.

Why Palestine Matters

Why does Palestine matter? It’s a question I ask myself nearly every day. Another way to put it is, “Is the devotion of major attention to the plight of the Palestinians an obsession worthy of suspicion or an appropriate response to a grave historic and continuing injustice?

No one will be surprised when I reply that major attention is an appropriate response. Palestine matters and should matter. I will try to explain why.

First, perhaps most basically, the sheer cruelty – the scope of the violation of human, i.e., natural individual, rights – of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians warrants the concern of all who favor freedom and other (classical) liberal values: justice, social cooperation, free exchange, and peace.

Contact group says warring sides in Ukraine reach new ceasefire

The Ukrainian government has reached a fresh ceasefire with pro-Russia forces fighting in the east of the country, a contact group says, raising hopes for an end to a deadly four-year-long conflict.

The truce, which is slated to come into force on Sunday, was agreed at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on Ukraine in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk on Wednesday, said Darka Olifer, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s representative in the group.

The TCG, which comprises representatives from Kiev, Moscow, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), was formed in May 2014 in an attempt to facilitate a diplomatic solution to the war in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts of Ukraine, collectively known as the Donbass.

House passes $675B defense spending bill

The House easily passed $675 billion in defense spending Thursday after lawmakers tacked on provisions to bar the Pentagon from doing business with the Chinese telecom firms ZTE and Huawei and to pave the way for a dual purchase of aircraft carriers by the Navy.

The vote was 359-49, with 137 Democrats joining all but three Republicans to pass the fiscal 2019 defense appropriations bill.

The legislation would continue Republican-led efforts to build up the military. Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas), who chairs the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee, called the legislation the "next critical step" in boosting U.S. military might.

"The priorities funded in this bill not only stop the erosion, but also enable our military to restore and increase their competitive advantage," Granger said on the floor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

NO, Representative Granger, the quality of product in America's weaponry will not improve until a couple of things happen, and I will tell you what they have to be.

First, corporate heads of weapons manufacturers believe that, because they contribute so much campaign money to both parties, that it is just fine if products are delivered so late that they are obsolete upon delivery; that products don't have to function as promised, and that vast budget over-runs are completely normal.

There need to be two laws to address that; and the first is that weapons manufacturers should be forbidden by law from giving campaign contributions. And secondly, and this should be in every contract signed for military weaponry and components; if the products are delivered so late as to be obsolete upon delivery;, do not function as advertised; and have huge cost over-runs, that the presidents of those companies will be considered to have committed treason against the US military, tried, convicted, and serve jail time.

As draconian as these steps sound, they will cure the problem of the US military not getting its "bang" out of the money it spends on its weaponry.

The Russian and Chinese military now have the technological lead in weapons design and execution, and are spending far less than does the US military; so now, the US government and military are being forced to play "catch up".

As much as I hate war as a way with which to resolve international differences, when US-made weapons are deployed, I want our men and women in uniform to have the best of the best.

Unarmed black man tasered by police in the back while sitting on a curb

A Pennsylvania mayor has responded to a viral video showing a police officer tasing an unarmed black man who was siting down on a sidewalk curb in the back.

Danene Sorace, the mayor of Lancaster, said that an investigation into the incident on Thursday made her upset, and that the video has reaffirmed her commitment to deploy body cameras to all officers in the City of Lancaster.

“Like you, when I saw the video I was upset by it and it is of great concern to me,” Ms Sorace said in her statement. “We take the use of force very seriously”.

Officers repeatedly tell him to extend his legs straight out, and he then extends them slightly. When an officer tells him to cross his legs, his feet move towards each other and the officer shoots the electric charge into his back.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This police officer should be tried, convicted, and jailed for this horrifically barbaric behaviour against this man, for absolutely zero cause.

Then, he should be held personally legally liable and responsible for all the damages the court will award the victim, rather than the taxpayers of this town.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the withdrawal of some equipment and troops from Syria. He said that 13 warplanes, 14 helicopters, and 1,140 Russian soldiers have left Syria in the past few days.

Russia Today (RT) reported, today, that at a ceremony in honour of Russian military university graduates, Putin said that, “during its fight against terrorists in Syria, the Russian army clearly demonstrated its increased fighting capabilities and high level of coordination among its units”.

Addressing the freshman graduates, Putin added, “Today you and your colleagues should take full advantage of this experience in combat training.”

The Russian president pointed out that the new sophisticated weapons the Russian army will soon receive will multiply its military capabilities, adding that the intercontinental Avangard hypersonic missiles will be used by the Russian forces in the near future then to be followed a year later by the Sarmat missiles.

The NWO Globalists are attempting to destroy the American Republic with civil war.

The New World Order globalist cabal has given marching orders to the American political class, top corporate officers and leadership throughout civil society to launch the next phase of CIVIL WAR 2.0.

It’s the Rothschild international banking cartel that appears to be instigating this ever-intensifying civil war via foreign agents such as George Soros.

Nevertheless, it is the likes of George Soros, Barack and Michelle Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Tim Kaine, John Podesta, John Brennan, James Clapper, Michael Hayden, James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Andrew McCabe, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Tom Perez, Maxine Waters, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris and many other Democratic traitors who willingly carry water for the NWO cabal. Therefore, the single most effective initiative that President Trump can take to prevent civil war is to arrest George Soros.

Speaking Secets: Man tells of rape at Catholic school

A man who says he was sexually violated as a child attending a Catholic school has spoken publicly for the first time about the alleged abuse.

The man, who the Herald has chosen not to name for legal reasons, claims he was raped and molested by Marist Brothers when he was a boy in the 1980s.

"Can you imagine a 10, 11-year-old boy walking home alone after school after having been sexually abused? I remember feeling as if I was not in my own body," he said.

"But it wasn't just the physical sexual abuse, it was the betrayal, because the ones - my teachers - who my parents sent me to be educated, to be looked after, to be cared for, the ones who were supposed to protect me, they were the ones who were abusing me."

The boys at his school referred to the abuse as "bumming" so he had heard the term before it happened to him.

US Dems, NATO Allies Express Fear Over Putin-Trump Summit

Update: It did not take long for the Democrats to start jumping up and down about this and who else but Rep. Adam Schiff to lead the charge:

“I fear that this summit will prove to be another blow to NATO and our allies, and a gift to the Kremlin,” Schiff says in emailed statement, adding that Trump should use the summit to confront Putin “on Russia’s interference in our elections.”

Trump should also confront Putin on “the invasion of Ukraine, Russian and Syrian war crimes in Syria, and the chemical weapons attack in the U.K.'”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Democrats have absolutely become the party of "NO!", when it comes to any activities that might advance peace prospects, by ratcheting down tensions between the US and Russia.

And Representative Schiff, are you suffering from an astonishingly horrific case of SMD (selective memory disorder), when you state that "Russia invaded Ukraine", as though it is something which... actually happened?!?

This is a narrative which is absolutely not backed by reality; and Sir, if you cannot remember Spring of 2014 in Ukraine, you may well be in need of a quick visit to your local neurologist, because your brain has popped a gasket, you should immediately resign from your Congressional seat, and have someone who has the capacity of remembering what really happened here, replace you.

In 2014, the putsch in Kiev threw the duly elected President of Ukraine, Yanukovych, under the proverbial bus, and "annointed" Petro Poroshenko as its president, in an election which was about as crooked as is a dog's hind leg.

Iranian President Reopens Nuclear Plant: "We Will Bring The US To Its Knees"

Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday: “We will bring the US to its knees in this battle of wills.” The Iranian government is continuing to warn of harsh retaliation against the United States after the Trump administration pulled out of the 2015 nuclear agreement.

According to PressTV, the threat comes as Washington continues to attempt to bully its allies into halting imports of Iranian oil after Donald Trump unilaterally quit the cornerstone international nuclear agreement instituted by his predecessor, Barack Obama. Iran has previously said there would be consequences should the US decide to withdraw from the agreement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This withdrawal from the P5+1 deal, is going to wind up costing President Trump very dearly, and will give the appearance that the US government cannot be trusted when it signs an agreement, and then renigs, on another Presiden't watch.

There was much about which I critized President Obama, but this agreement was not an area of disagreement between us; it worked, to the point where the IAEA has consistently reported that Iran has been complying will all the terms of the agreement since 2015.

To simply attempt to wreck it, both to destroy President Obama's legacy, and to appease one of his two BBFs in the Middle East, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu, was a seismic geopolitical blunder on his part, and may well insure that the US will ultimately be going to war with Iran, a war which Netanyahu wants to see happen, but only at the costs of American blood, and American money.

But there is one factor here, which I am hoping President Trump will take into account in this issue, and that is the presence of Russia, whose politicians and military personnel have consistently promised to defend Iran, should it be attacked militarily.

Mr. President, I hope that you are, soberly, and clearly, taking into account of the ramifications of those promises; do you really want to see the US go to war against Russia over Iran?!?

This, sir, would be a war that the US military might well not win, because we are lagging far behind Russia in terms of troop strength, weaponry, and manufacturing.

Russia and Turkey Diversifying Into Gold As The U.S. Borrows Faster Than Entire World Saves

The Russian reduction of Treasury holdings, to $48.7 billion in April 2018 from $102.2 billion in December 2017, has been nothing short of dramatic, though it wasn’t a huge blow to the U.S. Russia’s holdings of American government bonds have long been dwarfed by those of China and Japan, as well as Brazil and some European countries. House Passes Measure To Force DOJ Documents While Rosenstein Grilled In Heated Testimony

The House passed a resolution on Thursday demanding that the Department of Justice (DOJ) hand over a trove of sensitive documents related to the FBI's investigations into both Hillary Clinton's email probe and the Russia investigation.

UN Report: Saudi Coalition Behind Most Yemen Child Casualties

The annual “Children and Armed Conflict” report from the United Nations details the deaths of Yemeni children in the Saudi-led invasion. Unsurprisingly, the overwhelming majority of the slain were killed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The UN report verified 552 children killed in 2017 in Yemen. 67% of those children, 370, were directly attributable to the Saudi coalition, predominantly the result of Saudi airstrikes. Saudi airstrikes killing civilians have been an ongoing problem since the invasion.

The report said 83 children were killed in actions by the Houthi rebels, with another 41 killed by fighters loyal to the Saudi-backed government. The others were killed by that government, international allies, and a handful by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government is deeply enmeshed in enabling these Saudi war crimes in Yemen; and as an American who does care, very much, about the future of American foreign policy, I am absolutely outraged at this, and also at the lack of outrage I see in the attitudes of my brother and sister Americans; of course, they can be forgiven, to some degree, for their willful ignorance, but not completely.

After all, when was the last time you saw US military involvement in Yemen covered by the corporate US presstitutes, whose business it is to deflect American awareness from the evil which this country inflicts in so many parts of this planet?!? The short answer is, nearly never.

But I am calling on everyone who doesn't know or understand what is going on here, to take a good hard look at the following compilation of images, and ask themselves: do I really want this being done in my name, and with my tax dollars?!?

The US, Russia and United Nations all designate al-Nusra Front, also known as al-Qaeda in Syria, a terrorist organization. Three weeks ago, Chinese drone manufacturer DJI reported that they are partnering with Axon.

"DJI, the world’s leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, and Axon the global leader in connected law enforcement technologies, announced an exclusive partnership, to sell DJI drones directly to public safety and law enforcement agencies worldwide through the new Axon Air program."

Axon Air wants to provide police with three different types of surveillance drones; the DJI Phanton 4 Pro, DJI Inspire 1, and the DJI Matrice 210. (To find out more about Axon Air drones click here.)

How long will it take Axon and DJI to sell police bird drones to spy on citizens?

Millionaire investor George Soros is now investing in America's controversial personal-injury lawsuits market, Bloomberg reports.

Soros Fund Management has begun offering investment portfolios out of lawsuits. The billionaire's hedge fund is bankrolling a company called Mighty Group, which gives cash advances to plaintiffs in return for future settlements.

Mighty Group gives $2,000 on average for legal claims typically tied to car and construction accidents, in exchange for a cut from a settlement. Such advances are typically used to cover rent or medical treatment.

The firm faces criticism in the United States for monetizing and encouraging the lawsuit culture in America. The US Chamber of Commerce and the insurance industry have criticised companies like Mighty Group for clogging the courts and propping up the costs of settlements.

UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) announced on Tuesday that their group had succeeded in stopping Citibank and the Arab Bank from allowing donations to be transferred to the NGO Defence for Children International Palestine (DCI-P).

UKLFI hailed the move, claiming that DCI-P had some members who were also connected with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a leading member of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, considered a terror organisation by Israel.

“UKLFI wrote to Citibank and to Arab Bank in May 2018, highlighting DCI-P’s links to the terrorist groups, and requested that Citibank and Arab Bank withdraw their banking services to DCI-P. Now these banks no longer provide banking services to the terror linked NGO,” UKLFI said in a statement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The UKLFI is obviously willing to do ANYTHING to destroy the future of Palestinian kids, and through charges which are, at present, unsubstantiated.

One has to wonder if these solicitors fantasize, collectively, about marching into Israeli jails, and just assassinating Palestinian children outright; but they know that the optics would be horrific.

So, they have decided to destroy these kids economically rather than physically. And the following behaviour, on the part of Israeli authorities, is what they want to insure continues:

Video: Palestinian children speak of abuse under Israeli Custody

353 Palestinian children inside Israeli Jails on Palestine Children's Day

Palestinian Children still jailed in violation of International Law

Palestinian Children live life of Hardship in Israeli lockup

240 Palestinian children sexually abused in Jerusalem Dentention Centres, Group Claims

Israel and Palestine

Youngest Palestinian children held in Israel are jailed for months

Palestinian teen loses eyesight due to Israeli prison neglect

These articles must bring tears of joy and relief to UKLFI members; the abuse, neglect, and torture of these children must continue, in their collective mindset.

But then, what is to be expected from a group which extols the "virtues" of a wretchedly apartheid, self-proclaimed theocracy with nuclear weapons?

A billion dollar antiballistic radar system is being planned for development in Hawaii in order to counter nuclear ICBM threats from somewhere. Even though, at the present moment, there aren’t any threatening postures from nations with ICBM tech, the need to spend 1$ billion on detecting and combatting those ICBMs is apparently greater than ever before, at least according to some congressmen.

RT reports:

The flat-face surface radar would “counter evolving missile threats in the Pacific Region”, the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) says. Although the timing of the radar’s construction seems curious given current efforts at rapprochement with North Korea, plans for the military installation actually predate the Trump administration. The radar system was mandated by the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act, which was signed into law by Barack Obama in December 2016.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Representative Schatz, a word, please: perhaps instead of shilling for interceptors and radar systems, you should be travelling on the decomposing roads of Oahu, and figure out just what is compelling Governor Ige to ignore the horrific conditions here, which are literally killing the cars which must drive over them?!?

And BTW, which of the major makers of interceptors and radar systems are supporting you, covertly, or overtly, to make this pitch?!?

I am really considering, just to make the point, of contacting Domino's Pizza for Potholes program, Paving for Pizza, and asking them to fill all the potholes on Oahu, which would be a formidable task, as a way of embarrassing the Governor for not taking care of this.

The Light Rail project on Oahu, which you supported, Appropriations Committed Passes Funding for Honolulu Rail, transportation, Housing, and Infrastructure Progams is hopelessly skewed in time and budget, and may never be finished; it is a flustercluck of bad engineering, bad choices, and money drained from the local economy which the people of Hawaii will never see again; why are you not supporting a forensic audit of where that money went?!?

Or are the people of this great state never supposed to know where it should have gone, but didn't?!?

Brian Brackeen, CEO of facial recognition company Kairos, has a message about the technology his firm develops: It’s not yet ready for the burden of upholding the law.

In an editorial for TechCrunch, the tech CEO explains that artificial intelligence algorithms powering facial recognition need massive amounts of data to function—and in his experience these systems have not been given enough data on people of color to function properly. If used in law enforcement, that malfunction could mean wrongful identification of an innocent person.

“Software is only as smart as the information it’s fed,” Brackeen writes. “If that’s predominantly images of, for example, African Americans that are ‘suspect,’ it could quickly learn to simply classify the black man as a categorized threat.”

That particular example could be a reality, as data collected by law enforcement are notoriously biased against people of color.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The European Union is committing to its policy of perceiving revolutionary determination as its course of legitimacy. Apparently, a referendum gaining nearly 100% popular support isn’t sufficient to qualify for the self determination of a region. Therefore, the EU will continue to consider the Crimea as politically a part of the Ukraine. This, of course, means that the EU has reason for its sanctions regime against Crimea, which it will be extending for yet another year.
