"Angler": The Rise and (Finally!) Fall of Dick Cheney

Cheney managed it, writes Gellman, so that he got "three bites at the apple" on every decision. He intervened early with any topic of his choosing, got the base information and key decisions being considered long before others even knew what was going on, plus he had the final input to the President, should that be necessary. Sometimes, since he had kept Bush more or less in the dark on a topic, what Cheney spoon-fed him late was enough to get Bush on board. "By the time Cheney had Bush's ear," writes Gellman, "he was intimately familiar with opposing views," and dispensed with them easily. In the end, Bush thought he had made the decision, but, of course, it was really Cheney.

We are being spoon-fed stupid again...

How did 5 alleged Al Qaeda members come together to form this statement, given that they are being held each in isolation at Gitmo? Are they allowed to meet and discuss various topics, including their alleged joy at bombing the United States? Somehow I don't think so. We know that some of their own attorneys were not even aware of this filing or what it said. So was this done telepathically?

2. And how is it that this filing was accepted by the court when some of the attorneys for the 5 men were not even aware that such a thing was going to be filed?

Violent Intruders Attack Brooklyn Synagogues

On Monday, according to Yeshiva World News, an Arab man in his mid-30s entered Boro Park's 'Sephardish Shul' and began making proclamations of jihad. Members of a Jewish volunteer security organization, the Shomrim, apprehended the threatening individual. They held him until police officers arrived at the scene, arresting the suspect. Detectives spoke with the "Middle Eastern man" at a station house near the synagogue.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This has "setup" written all over it. Yeshiva World News identifies the perp as Arab, but note that the Detectives would only identify him as "Middle Eastern" (which includes Israeli) and did not release his name.

And neither attack detailed in this report caused any injuries or damage, just headlines.

This smells just like the hate crime hoax seen in Venezuela not too long ago; a blatant attempt to regain the role of victim after Israel's brutal attack on Gaza.

Under the Cloak of Questionable Premise

In the annals of propaganda, big lies are landmarks. As part of propagating his own big lies, Hitler complained about them, writing that people “more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a little one, since they themselves lie in little things, but would be ashamed of lies that were too big.… even when enlightened on the subject, they will long doubt and waver ….”

Big lies create compliance by hoodwinking the population, which clears the path for despots. The War on “Terror” has replaced the War on Drugs as a broader, more nuanced rationale for anything and everything that abets social control.

Geithner, With Few Aides, Is Scrambling

The New York Times EDMUND L. ANDREWS and STEPHEN LABATON March 8, 2009 WASHINGTON — Rarely have so few people had so little time to prop up so many pillars of the economy as those in the Treasury Department under Timothy F. Geithner.

One of the few areas in which the Treasury has increased its staff is the all-important Office of Financial Stability, which ran the $700 billion financial rescue plan during the Bush administration. But that is because the Bush administration had hired almost 100 staff people by the time of Mr. Obama’s inauguration. Its director, Neel Kashkari, is a Bush holdover.

Doing Hard Time In Manhattan...Why America's Most Prominent Fraudster Remains Under House Arrest

Maybe Bernie knows something the rest of us don't. Maybe he's expecting the kind of justice available only to someone like him and certain other Zion special elitists. In legal arguments before a federal court in San Francisco Friday, the Obama administration stepped in to defend one of most notorious figures in the Bush administration, John Yoo, author of legal memoranda used to justify torture and indefinite detention without trial as part of the "war on terror."

The intervention makes clear that the Obama administration opposes any serious effort to shed light on the attacks against democratic rights carried out by its predecessor or to hold any officials of the previous administration accountable for their actions. Moreover, its court interventions amount to a defense of the Bush administration's assertions of quasi-dictatorial presidential powers.

Wilhelm Marr "The Patriarch of Antisemitism" was a "Jewish Renegade" says B'nai B'rith

Webmaster's Commentary:

Long before WWI, before Leo Frank and the founding of the ADL and long before before WWII, Jewish organizations solicited donations to fight "Hatred of the Jews." In order to raise money to fight an enemy an enemy was needed and in the 1890s Wilhelm Marr was promoted in the media as the enemy of the Jewish people in America. Marr is credited with the creation of the terms "Anti-Semitism" and "Holocaust."

It was this a great source of embarrassment to the fundraisers when word leaked out that Wilhelm Marr was himself Jewish, but in an age before alternative media had made the public aware of the preponderance of hoaxes used to sell the concept of Jewish victimhood, the fundraisers covered their obvious sham by declaring Marr to be a Jewish "renegade".

Wilhem Marr was not the only fake "American Nazi" to surface through the years.

Back in the 1970s, Frank Collin paraded around the media wearing swastikas and screaming race hate against Jews. When his Jewish identity as Frank Cohen was revealed, the old standby of "Renegade" was applied to him as well.

More recently, Bill White the self appointed leader of the American National Socialist Workers Party, an ADL/SPLC front has come under suspicion of being yet another phony based on his funding sources and other reasons too numerous to elucidate here.

Then we have Adam Yahiye Gadahn, the so-called "American Al Qaeda" who parades around the media scaring Americans into supporting war on Israel's enemies. His real name is Adam Pearlman and he is the grandson of a member of the board of the ADL.

Who is Bernard Madoff, the man behind the $50 billion fraud?

Where did the Madoff money go? Said to be as much as $50 billion, the key question about this huge scam remains unanswered. After examining 7,000 boxes containing the documents of Bernard Madoff's "investment" company, a U.S. bankruptcy court meeting revealed that there was "no evidence" that any of the money had been re-invested in 13 years

Webmaster's Commentary:

This gets back to the suspicion I voiced when Madoff was "sentenced" to his $6 million penthouse. We know that organizations tied to AIPAC were investors with Madoff and that early on, they made huge profits from the Ponzi scheme, money which ultimately wound up as political action committee funds (i.e. donations to pro-Israel congressmen and Presidents).

In other words, Madoff's scheme was the funding mechanism by which Israel bought, subverted, and corrupted the entire US Government!

That is why nobody wants to investigate where the money went.

Now, of course, Sandia labs has shown that the special investigative science invented by the FBI for this case was about as useful as the now-discredited Neutron activation analysis used to claim that Lee Oswald was the only one shooting in Dealey Plaza back in 1963.

But here is the point all these articles about the anthrax attacks avoid. Regardless of whether you suspect Dr. Stephen Hatfill, or Dr. Bruce Ivins, or Dr. Philip Zack of committing the crime, the letters themselves, written to look like they were from semi-literate Arabs, PROVES THERE WAS AN ATTEMPT TO FRAME ARAB MUSLIMS FOR TERRORISM INSIDE THE UNITED STATES!

So, let us include that in our efforts to find the real criminal from the above suspects. Of the three doctors, which one would have a reason to frame Arabs for his crime?

The facts is that only one of the three, Dr. Philip Zack, has a prior record of racially motivated acts. And by odd coincidence, Dr. Zack is the one man actually detected by the security systems entering the lab where the anthrax used in the letters was kept, without authorization after losing his job over a racially motivated attack no an Egyptian co-worker!

But the FBI has never investigated Dr. Zack. Indeed they seemed to want to avoid him as much as possible.

Joe the Janitor Brought Out to Take a Bow, While AIG Gets Another 30 Billion

Actually the guy's name is Mark. It's the same political fraud. He's touted as having had a salaried position ($70k per year, certainly not a job with Merrill). He's now working as a janitor to make ends meet! Such sacrifice is indeed noble, were it even probable. If the janitor-job were advertised in any city in the country, you'd start a major riot among the frantic applicants, and bus tickets to the scene of the mayhem would be difficult to come by.

The pharmaceutical industry employees one sales rep for every four doctors.

Research on drug effects has been virtually completely taken over by the drug industry.

The number of deaths caused by specific medications is often withheld by the FDA because it's considered a "trade secret."

REVEALED: 'There was no Cabinet debate in run-up to war,' says Short as Government refuses to release minutes

The Government is refusing to release minutes of Cabinet meetings before the Iraq War because they would reveal there was no discussion on the issue.

Details surrounding two crucial meetings on the eve of the conflict were laid bare for the first time yesterday when former Cabinet Minister Clare Short, who was present at both, gave a full account of what happened.

She told The Mail on Sunday the main reason for the ‘scandalous’ decision not to publish the minutes was not to protect confidential discussions about the war, but to cover up the fact there was no such discussion.

Local Company Discovers Threat To Obama's Security

Target 11 has learned a Cranberry company that monitors peer-to-peer file-sharing networks discovered what it said is a potentially serious security breach involving President Barack Obama’s helicopter.

Tiversa employees found engineering and communications information about Marine One at an IP address in Tehran, Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, ask yourself two questions.

Let us assume that Iran is spying on the United States (since if the US were coming to attack me I would spy on them myself). Would Iran be so foolish as to use an IP inside their own country for hacker activity?

Second question. Who benefits if there is an attack on Obama's helicopter that is blamed on Iran?

This is a setup.

Indian Pt. Broken Pipe Spurs Safety Worries

The New York Times ANNIE CORREAL Feb 27, 2009

The broken pipe was found Feb. 16, isolated by the middle of that week and dug up and replaced last Saturday. But in the meantime, about 100,000 gallons of water, or 10 percent of the water in the secondary cooling system storage tank, had escaped.

The largest tritium leak at the plant was discovered in 2005 when moist earth was found to contain high levels of tritium and strontium 90, which is also radioactive.

How 'Canadians' almost ignited a war

The audacious Israeli plan was to spray deadly nerve gas into the ear of the then-middling Hamas operative. This, they managed – but as the stricken Mishal took ill in the Jordanian capital of Amman, the "Canadians" were captured. And that is when all hell broke loose.

Some researchers make challenging and troubling claims, which threaten to overturn major aspects of the Holocaust story:

* Key witnesses to the Holocaust have either falsified or greatly exaggerated important aspects of their stories.

* The figure of “six million” has little basis in fact. This number, which theoretically could only have been known after the war, actually traces back decades before.

* Major death camps, like Belzec, Sobibor, Chelmno, and Treblinka, have vanished “without a trace”—as have most of their alleged victims. Such a thing is not possible.

* Both of the alleged means of gassing victims—Zyklon-B (cyanide) and carbon monoxide from diesel exhaust—are impractical, unworkable, and simply ridiculous.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here is a little bit of history.

This is the headline of March 24th, 1933 reporting the boycott against Germany declared by the world's bankers following Hitler's abandonment of the debt-based banking system imposed on Germany after WWI and the establishment of a monetary system based on fixed units of worth. This simple change had turned Germany's economy around to the point where TIME Magazine declared Hitler their man of the year for his success in revitalizing Germany. But such a system was a direct threat to the profits of the bankers.

The bankers, terrified that the rest of the world would see the obvious advantages in the new German system, set about to wreck the new German economy and by so doing set the stage for WWII.

But, take a close look at the story at the left in which it is reported that the total Jewish population of Germany in 1933 was only 600,000!

Found in Translation

Most Americans have never heard of Sibel Edmonds, and if the U.S. government has its way, they never will. The former FBI translator turned whistleblower tells a chilling story of corruption at Washington’s highest levels—sale of nuclear secrets, shielding of terrorist suspects, illegal arms transfers, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, espionage. She may be a first-rate fabulist, but Edmonds’s account is full of dates, places, and names. And if she is to be believed, a treasonous plot to embed moles in American military and nuclear installations and pass sensitive intelligence to Israeli, Pakistani, and Turkish sources was facilitated by figures in the upper echelons of the State and Defense Departments.

Coordinated assault against one of Obama's intelligence picks inspired by his critical stance to Israel.

We keep seeing these "coordinated assaults" against Obama's intelligence selections, bloggers, Ron Paul, political speakers, authors, 911 activists, humanitarian aid organizations, etc...and I have to ask:

1. Is it organized crime, RICO violations, for these "mobbing", "focusing" organziations like JIDF,, Operation MEGAPHONE, engage in the types of activities that seek to disrupt those who wish to bring those who have violated International law and have committed human rights violations (war crimes) to justice?

2. Could it be assumed, based on all of the activities of these mobbing organizations, that there exists, a militant faction similar to the Israeli IRGUN, a secret army, on the ground in western nations (the United States)?

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Hassan Qashqavi, has said that Hollywood film makers have thirty anti-Iranian movies in the offing.

"Hollywood has thirty anti-Iranian movies in the offing with the subject of hostility towards Iran's historical and Islamic identity," Qashqavi told reporters at a weekly news conference in Tehran on Monday.

"The subject of making various movies has directly targeted not only Iran's religious and historical identity but also the country's social values including hospitality in an attempt to show hostility towards the Islamic Republic," he added.

"There are certain political objectives behind a number of movies under the pretext of creating art," he explained.

'Holocaust bishop' arrives in UK

The 68-year-old ultra-traditionalist bishop has been at the centre of controversy after he denied the use of gas chambers on Swedish television in January.

"There was not one Jew killed by the gas chambers. It was all lies, lies, lies," he said.

Williamson also said he believes no more than 300,000 Jews died in Germany's Nazi concentration camps.

The number of those killed in the Holocaust that is widely accepted is six million people.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note carefully that last sentence. The author stops short of saying that six million actually did die, only that this is the widely accepted value.

Which means doubt as to the veracity of the official story is starting to spread in this post "Saddam's nooks" age.

Yoo's Memos Gave Retroactive Cover

A Justice Department inquiry has found that the Bush administration's legal opinions justifying the torture of "war on terror"- detainees were hastily drafted after one prisoner was already subjected to waterboarding, a practice that creates the sensation of drowning, according to several sources familiar with the still-classified report.

The implication of the finding is that John Yoo and other lawyers for the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel violated ethical standards by collaborating with senior White House officials to create legal cover for violating anti-torture and other federal statutes after the fact, rather than providing objective advice for future actions.

Your health is all downhill from here (ask any Vet from Desert Storm), and your children will have a higher incidence of birth defects because that depleted uranium isn't as harmless as you were told it was. Prepare Yourself for Higher Gas Prices

Feb 24, 2009 - Aaron Task - Yahoo Finance

With the economy tumbling, joblessness rising, and the stock market at 11-year lows, about the only positive thing for Americans' pocketbooks lately has been (relatively) lower gas prices. But this too shall pass, according to James Cordier, president of Liberty Trading Group in Tampa. Cordier, whose firm specializes in selling options on commodities, notes that while oil supplies are at a 16-year high, gasoline inventories are at a 5-year low.
