Twenty-six Things About the Islamic State (ISIL) that Obama Does Not Want You to Know About

Recent developments confirm what is known and documented: Washington is behind the Islamic State (ISIS) and at the same time it is behind the moderate Al Qaeda terrorists, which the Obama administration is supporting as part of America’s campaign against the Islamic State (ISIS). And they expect us to believe that they are committed to waging a campaign against terrorists.

The Islamic State (ISIS) was until 2014 called al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI).

Al Nusra is an al Qaeda affiliate which has committed countless atrocities in Syria. It is now considered by the Obama administration as the “Moderate Opposition”.

America’s “anti-terrorist campaign’ consists in supporting a so-called “moderate” Al Qaeda entity (Al Nusra) with a view to going after another al Qaeda entity entitled The Islamic State, formerly designated as Al Qaeda in Iraq.

“Al Qaeda is going after Al Qaeda”, and both wings of al Qaeda are supported covertly by US intelligence.

Illinois judge to decide jurisdiction for ‘natural-born’ case to knock Ted Cruz off ballot

An Illinois judge on Friday said she would decide next month whether she had jurisdiction over a voter’s complaint that Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz should not be on the state’s primary ballot because he was born in Canada.

Lawrence Joyce, a lawyer and pharmacist, filed a complaint in January with the Illinois State Board of Elections saying that under the U.S. Constitution, the Texas senator cannot run for president since he is not a “natural born” citizen. Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta of a Cuban father and an American mother.

The Board rejected Joyce’s complaint, so he petitioned the Cook County Circuit Court to review the issue. Circuit Court Judge Maureen Ward Kirby said on Friday she was not sure she had jurisdiction, and set a March 1 hearing for arguments on whether to dismiss the complaint.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This should be pretty cut and dried; was, in fact a "consular report of birth abroad" ever filed?!?

Because if not, Cruz is not US citizen by birth, nor is he "natural born" and hence he is ineligible to become President of the United States.

U.S. enlists new recruit in fight against ISIS: Hollywood

Kerry said he called the meeting to discuss ideas about how to counter what he calls the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) "narrative," reports CBS News correspondent Ben Tracy. But some are concerned he might be recruiting studio executives to help produce anti-ISIS propaganda.

A video that has all the hallmarks of a Hollywood movie trailer is actually a pro-ISIS propaganda piece produced by the radical Islamic terror group. Now the U.S. government is asking Hollywood for advice on how to counter that message.

"This is not just a military battle. It's a battle of ideas, an it's a battle of ideas between competing narratives," said top Kerry aide Richard Stengel.

Stengel was in Tuesday's closed-door meeting with almost a dozen film studio executives when the secretary of state made his pitch.

"Hollywood is one of the greatest competitive advantages we have as a country. It's revered all around the planet. It's our second largest export," Stengel said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, now, Hollywood is...."..revered..."?!?!?

Somehow, I wouldn't go that far.

And the enlisting of Hollywood as a propaganda tool is anything but new; remember Roosevelt's "fireside chats", and the newsreels movie-goers saw during World War II?!?

But Kerry is being disingenuous in the extreme here.

The plain, hard truth is that the US government trained, equipped, and funded these folks as a way to destabilize those countries whose leadership was not to our liking, like Syria; but it became a Frankenstein's monster, which the US government now says has to be "neutralised".

At the end of World War II, when it came to Japan, there was a Marshall Plan, to get the shattered Japanese economy back on its feet; there were the Deming lectures, which transformed Japanese manufacturing from a joke to the marvel of the 20th century.

We have left Iraq, which under Saddam Hussein, had one of the highest standards of living in the Middle East, completely destroyed and dysfunctional. The people are sick because of the chemicals released by the burn pits, and the use of depleted uranium weapons have caused massive tumors and birth defects. The de-Baathification of Iraq caused terrible civil unrest, even to the point of a still-smoldering religious war between Sunnis and Shiites. And the political infrastructure's largesse?!? For sale to the highest bidder.

Libya, which under Gaddafi, had one of the highest standards of living in Africa, is under a very similar situation. After Gaddafi's assassination by NATO and US forces, in October of 2012. A state of civil war now exists, and ISIS/ISIL is firmly ensconced. The poverty is grinding, and the standard of living, for the Libyan people, has fallen off a cliff.

These pre-emptive wars have cost much blood and money; but that doesn't seem to matter to those who wanted the oil in Iraq, or Libya's natural resources. All that mattered, Mr. Vice President, was that the oil would be sold in US dollars only, and controlled by US oil interests.

So if the US is going to have an honest narrative to counter that of Daesh, this country's film makers themselves have to be honest; we blew it, in honor of the money junkies in this country, in both Libya, and in Iraq, and are doing the same blasted thing with Afghanistan, where it appears that US and NATO forces will never leave.

But it has to be more than a mea culpa here; and there is where the difficulty for this country begins, in terms of countering Daesh's narrative.

The US government wanted to break Iraq apart, and balkanize it, so that it could never, again, be an alleged "existential threat" to Israel. The US wants to be in control of both the pipelines, and the currency in which that oil is sold. The same is true for Libya, and its oil, and oil fields. Plus, in Afghanistan, it was about the leasing of the pipeline routes.

So, ultimately, the serial difficulty with countering Daesh's narrative here, is that these US military misadventures were never about lifting up, or truly "liberating" the people of those countries we invaded; to give them transparent governments, jump-start their economies after the invasions, and give them a higher standard of living. These were all done, ultimately, to enhance the private, corporate profit of US companies.

The late John F. Kennedy said it best: "When peaceful revolution is impossible, violent revolution is inevitable." And Mr. Vice-President, that holds just as true today as the day President Kennedy said that, and THAT, sir, is your problem.

FLASHBACK - Clinton Confidant Revealed as Source of Benghazi Misinformation

Both the Department of Defense and the State Department immediately identified terrorism as the cause of the attack on Benghazi. But it was Hillary Clinton, in remarks at the U.S.-Morocco Strategic Dialogue on Sept. 13 of that year, who first suggested the activity at the Benghazi consulate began as a demonstration over an anti-Islam YouTube video. And now compelling evidence in the email trail points to Blumenthal as the source of that narrative.

Feb 19 11:14

According to Courthouse News (CN) article, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson warned law enforcement of a new breed of terrorism that sees people "self-radicalize."

"As I have said many times, we are in a new phase of the global terrorist threat, requiring a whole new type of response," Johnson said. "We have moved from a world of terrorist-directed attacks to a world that includes the threat of terrorist-inspired attacks."

DHS propaganda is so unbelievable, they even have a guide book called "Terminology To Define Terrorists" which instructs them on how to use appropriate terminology when describing the latest terrorist threat.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A short memo to Homeland Security Secretary Johnson; sir, the fastest way to get terror, or even the threat of terror here at home, and against American interests abroad to stop - completely - is for this country to stop expropriating natural resources from other countries to which we have absolutely no moral right.

Stop the US government's military from killing people who have the gall to live over natural resources the US government (and corporations) covet.

It is just quite that simple, sir, and you will see anti-American "terror" just stop.

People around the world do not "hate us because of our freedoms"; they hate us because US military resources are mowing down their kids, moms, grandpas, and aunties in the relentless pursuit of those resources.

And if it is not US troops actually doing the shooting, maiming, and killing, it is another country's proxy army, as in the case with Saudi Arabia's horrific attack against Yemen, because the Yemenite people had the gall to throw out their puppet government. The Saudis are shelling schools, hospitals, and private homes (all of which are war crimes, as you are, no doubt, aware) and using US-supplied cluster munitions, the use of which has been banned by civilized countries.

As a Christian pacifist, who never advocates violence, I find the violence which the US government has inflicted upon way too many countries and individuals appalling, particularly in light of the truth that this is ultimately done in the name of private corporate profit. Therefore, I respectfully urge you, the President, Congress, the State Department, and the Pentagon, to rethink where this country is spending its money on wars, and why, and what alternative means could be used to accomplish the US's geopolitical agenda.

At the MSNBC moderated Democratic presidential town hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, Hillary Clinton was asked by a Sanders supporter why she will not release video or transcript of her private speeches to Wall Street banks.

"As a realtor here in Nevada I know how important the economy is to our great nation. As a Democratic candidate who has delivered speeches to the largest U.S. financial institutions in exchange for hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees, why are you hesitant to release transcript or audio/video recordings of those meetings to be transparent with the American people regarding the promises and assurances that you have made to the big banks?" the man asked Clinton.

"Let me say this, I am happy to release anything I have when everybody else does the same because every other candidate in this race has given speeches to private groups, including Senator Sanders," Clinton responded.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Regarding the Clinton Presidential campaign, this will happen when pigs fly.

IF you want more wealth inequality; more poverty; more pre-emptive wars; more surveillance; more bank regulation that leaves customers out in the cold with negative rates; the banning of all cash, please, by all means, continue to support this woman.

Because at the end of the day, she is still thoroughly beholden to the big banks, and the major corporations, who fund her campaign both overtly and covertly.

In other words, those monied interests which want no change which will translate positively for the American people, have her by her "male attributes"; and yes, I am using this language deliberately!!

the eagle eyed Jeremy Malcolm over at EFF has spotted an apparent change in the “legal scrub” of the Intellectual Property chapter that will massively expand criminal penalties for copyright infringing activities that have no impact on the actual market. Technically, the scrub just changed the word “paragraph” to “subparagraph” in the following sentence:

With regard to copyright and related rights piracy provided for under paragraph 1, a Party may limit application of this subparagraph to the cases in which there is an impact on the right holder’s ability to exploit the work, performance or phonogram in the market.
But the impact is massive. As Malcolm explains:

Any way you slice it, this treaty is one nasty peace of work.

The legacy of death and misery from the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan continues today, and, once again, Dick Cheney plays a central role. A new book by Joseph Hickman, a former U.S. Marine and Army sergeant, titled “The Burn Pits: The Poisoning of America’s Soldiers” details how soldiers and local civilian populations were exposed to constant streams of toxic smoke from the burning of waste.

The infamous Kellog, Brown, and Root (KBR), which was a part of Dick Cheney’s corporate empire under Halliburton, operated about 250 burn pits which contributed to the $40 billion that Halliburton made during the Iraq occupation. “Every type of waste imaginable” was burned, including “tires, lithium batteries, asbestos insulation, pesticide containers, Styrofoam, metals, paints, plastic, medical waste and even human corpses.”

This reprehensible practice proves yet again that nothing is sacred when it comes to the military machine.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The complete expendability of our troops in the field is a disgusting and blatantly immoral chapter in the history of America's wars of aggression.

And unfortunately, even though that unholy trinity of Cheney, Bush, and Rumsfeld has slithered away from the spotlight, the horrific damage they did to our troops lives' on, and the VA's institutional culture of repressing, ignoring, and refusing to acknowledge this damage continues, unabated.

I frankly think that one of the most surprising things for most Americans, when Cheney had his heart transplant, was that he had one to begin with. One has to wonder just how much he paid to whom to get himself on the top of the waiting list for a donor heart. Of course money can do that, no matter how vile the practices were leading to the "earning" of that money.

When Soldiers Come Home

snip: It is symptomatic of how our thinking has produced the destructive nature of our social systems that suicide has become the third-leading cause of death in the world. Perhaps Thomas Mann understood the deeper connections of how our thinking produces the adverse consequences of how we live. “War,” he observed, “is only a cowardly escape from the problems of peace.” But war is sufficiently destructive of the nature of life that soldiers experience its evil force as a deadly infection of their souls. If, as I believe, each of us has a need for spiritual transcendence; of a need to connect up with the rest of the universe, how can those whose soul has been so contaminated hope to restore it to health?

‘Are you kidding us?’: Moscow reacts to Ankara's allegations that sided Russia with ISIS

While terrorists rage in Syria and beyond, with many countries trying to unite their efforts in the fight against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), Ankara's blame game looks more like an untimely joke, Moscow says.

"Mr. Davutoglu [Turkish Prime Minister], are you serious or is it just the way you joke? If it's a joke, then I think at a moment like this everyone, and especially Turkey, should be busy not with irony or sarcasm, but rather with concrete actions to stand against terrorism. I think that's what Turkish people are expecting from you," Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a Moscow briefing on Thursday.

"Statements by Turkish officials alleging that Russia secretly supports IS are absolutely unacceptable," she added.

BEX ALERT - Donald Trump’s Scalia-Conspiracy Pillow Fight

According to the Washington Post, she spoke to the law-enforcement people on the scene, who said that nothing looked suspicious, and to Scalia’s personal physician, who apparently told her that there were all sorts of medical reasons for Scalia, who was seventy-nine, to die suddenly. And so she certified his death by phone.

Under Texas law, that was sufficient...

Webmaster's Commentary:

Actually, Amy Davidson is wrong.

Art. 49.01. DEFINITIONS.

(2) "Inquest" means an investigation into the cause and circumstances
of the death of a person

(a) A justice of the peace shall conduct an inquest into the death of a person who dies in the county served by the justice if:
(6) the person dies without having been attended by a physician;

You can read the law for yourself. A Justice of the Peace cannot waive an autopsy under the circumstances Scalia died under, as there was no physician in attendance.

One more point; Cinderela Guevara was not Justice of the Peace for the county Scalia died in. She was in fact the third Justice of the Peace called, as the Justice of the Peace for that country was supposedly unavailable for work related reasons (or so we are told). There are reports coming out that the Justice of the Peace who should have been called was also the County coroner and would have wanted to view the body. We are also hearing reports that Scalia's body, instead of being flown out of the resort airport or delivered to a local mortuary, was driven to another city five hours away, during which time the body would, of course, be unavailable should any officials wish an inspection!

Antonin Scalia and the Cover-Up of Vincent Foster’s Murder

I am not a student of Scalia’s work or of the Supreme Court generally. I do, however, claim a certain amount of expertise on the death of Vince Foster. On December 3, 2003, Justice Scalia was given the opportunity to bring that supposed towering intellect of his to bear on the question of key evidence related to the manner of Foster’s death.

Being argued before the court was the lawsuit of California attorney Allan Favish to make public some photographs of Foster’s body taken by police at the scene. “The case arose” as Favish explains on his web site, “from my Freedom of Information Act request seeking some of the photographs taken by the Government as part of its investigation into the death of President Bill Clinton’s Deputy White House Counsel Vincent Foster, who was found dead in Virginia’s Fort Marcy Park on July 20, 1993. The Government ruled that Foster committed suicide by firing a revolver into his mouth with the bullet exiting the back of his head.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Had Scalia not blocked the release of the Foster evidence, he might be alive right now, as the rotted core inside the Federal Government would have been brought down.

Meanwhile, the document in question can be seen HERE

State: Food industry lobby engaged in 'egregious' money laundering in 2013 vote

The Grocery Manufacturers Association concealed the source of $11 million spent to fight a 2013 ballot initiative, and internal documents reveal how it was done, state Attorney General Bob Ferguson charged in a court motion disclosed Wednesday.

Ferguson is suing the Washington, D.C.-based lobby over a fund it set up to conceal food companies donating to the defeat of Initiative 522. I-522 would have required labeling of all genetically engineered foods and seeds sold in Washington.

"GMA's conduct was so egregious that it ranks among the worst in state history," said the AG's motion for summary judgment.

"GMA worked to 'shield' the actions of major food companies from the very public entitled to know who was trying to influence their vote on Initiative 522."

The initiative was narrowly defeated after a TV ad blitz paid for by millions of dollars from the food industry and such agribusiness giants as Monsanto.

“The Burn Pits” reveals how a Dick Cheney-connected company got rich while U.S. soldiers got poisoned

So what are the “burn pits”? When the U.S. military set up a base in Iraq or Afghanistan, instead of building incinerators to dispose of the thousands of pounds of waste produced each day, they burned the garbage in big holes in the ground. The garbage they constantly burned included “every type of waste imaginable” including “tires, lithium batteries, asbestos insulation, pesticide containers, Styrofoam, metals, paints, plastic, medical waste and even human corpses.”

Here’s where the story gets even more infuriating. As a result of the privatization of many aspects of military operations, the burn pits were operated by Kellogg, Brown, and Root (KBR), a former subsidiary of Halliburton, the company where Dick Cheney was CEO before ascending to the White House. During the Bush administration, Halliburton made nearly $40 billion from lucrative government contracts (despite many corruption scandals), Dick Cheney and his corporate allies got incredibly rich, and the soldiers whose lives have likely been destroyed by this reckless operation… are pretty much screwed.

As a federal court prepares to rule on a challenge to Sirhan Sirhan's conviction in the Robert F. Kennedy assassination, a long overlooked witness to the murder is telling her story: She heard two guns firing during the 1968 shooting and authorities altered her account of the crime.

"What has to come out is that there was another shooter to my right," Rhodes-Hughes said in an exclusive interview with CNN. "The truth has got to be told. No more cover-ups."

Pope, Who Lives in a Walled Citadel, Just Called Trump 'Unchristian' for Wanting to Build a Wall on the U.S.-Mexico Border

The elite want Donald Trump gone. Bad. So bad in fact they have called in the Pope to publicly condemn Trump for wanting to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Pope said:

"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the Gospel."

Funny, isn't it? How much of a dog and pony puppet show this is? Now they've tapped the Pope to come out against Trump with about the weakest argument the Pope could make pretty much ever.

Scalia Dies…Jew Control Arises

WITH THE DEATH OF ANTONIN SCALIA, Jewish hopes for total control of all legislative powers arise.

And this is what the Supreme Court has become: A Jewish venue for legislating from the bench.

If abortion could not be legalized by Congress, or if it was not possible to make homosexual ‘marriage’ a law by the states…the Supreme Court does it for us and against the peoples’ will.

Using the power of ‘judicial review,’ new laws are imposed simply by redefining them as a constitutional right.

The Latest From Western MSM: Putin May Justify War on Poland on Behalf of Its 5,000 Lithuanians

Did you know there is a region of Poland that is home to 5,000 Lithuanians? Did you know it's a border region vulnerable to invasion? Well then Putin may very well, certainly, possibly, plausibly, perhaps, maybe, maybe not, use the former to justify the latter. Don't ask us how. Newsweek makes the claim, then takes 1300 words to explain how Lithuanians and Poles do not like each other and how there are some Lithuanians in Poland – but crucialy without explaining how could that possibly benefit Putin and his alleged territorial ambitions. Still, Newsweek suggests, we would do extremely well to monitor the situation there, because you know. Having annexed all those 15 million Russians left outside Russia's 1991 borders Putin is sure to be interested in provoking World War III to be able to annex an obscure Poles-filled mini-region home to precisely zero Russians.

Debunking the "The Saudis did 9-11" nonsense!

Saudi Arabia does not have a history of dirty tricks, nor a demonstrated ability to carry out such deceptions. More to the point, Saudi Arabia has no motive to attack the United States. The Saudi princes have grown very rich indeed through the Petrodollar arrangement. Saudi Arabia buys many American products and weapons ($61 billion in 2011), and unlike Israel, the American taxpayer does not have to give them the money first with which to buy those weapons. Whereas Israel constantly takes money out of the US, the Saudis pour it in! Private Saudi investment in the US economy is over $400 billion. Saudi Arabia is a major creditor to the US Government. Exact figures are hard to find but Saudi Arabia has loaned the US Government hundreds of billions of dollars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am gratified that Donald Trump is willing to question the official narrative of 9-11, but alarmed that once again he is displaying a dangerous politically naivete. Donald has fallen for the "we have secret papers that prove Saudi Arabia did 9-11."

Bush had papers he claimed proved Iraq was buying yellow cake uranium.

So I am reposting this article to lay to rest the idea that Saudi Arabia would have been the mastermind behind 9-11. They had nothing to gain and everything to lose!

Extremist groups thrived in the United States last year as the divisive rhetoric of national political leaders fueled America’s anxieties over the country’s shifting demographics, according to a report by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The center found that the number of hate groups organized against racial, religious, sexual or other characteristics rose to 892 in 2015, up from 784 a year earlier.

The 14 percent increase came after three years of declines in extremist groups. Mark Potok, the author of the report, portrayed the shift as a product of white Americans’ heightened fears over their shrinking majority during a presidential election.

Wrong on Iraq? Not Everyone

In September 2002, Scott Ritter stepped in the path of the White House’s PR blitz, challenging the administration and quickly becoming one of very few prominent critics of the looming war. In a Chicago Tribune op-ed (9/10/02), Ritter exposed a deception on the part of Vice President Dick Cheney that should have sent reporters scurrying to catch up. Cheney claimed in an August 2002 speech (8/26/02) that the Iraqi regime had been “very busy enhancing its capabilities in the field of chemical and biological agents,” and continued “to pursue the nuclear program they began so many years ago.” To back this up, Cheney added, “We’ve gotten this from the firsthand testimony of defectors, including Saddam’s own son-in-law”—a reference to Lt. Gen. Hussein Kamel, the former Iraqi weapons chief and Iraq’s highest ranking defector. (See Extra!, 5-6/03.)

Ritter pointed out that Cheney was omitting an inconvenient part of Kamel’s story:
Throughout his interview with UNSCOM, a UN special commission, Hussein Kamal reiterated his main point—that nothing was left. “All chemical weapons were destroyed,” he said. “I ordered destruction of all chemical weapons. All weapons—biological, chemical, missile, nuclear—were destroyed.

Greatest Threat to Free Speech in the West: Criminalizing Activism Against Israeli Occupation

The U.K. GOVERNMENT today announced that it is now illegal for “local [city] councils, public bodies, and even some university student unions … to refuse to buy goods and services from companies involved in the arms trade, fossil fuels, tobacco products, or Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.” Thus, any entities that support or participate in the global boycott of Israeli settlements will face “severe penalties” under the criminal law.

This may sound like an extreme infringement of free speech and political activism — and, of course, it is — but it is far from unusual in the West. The opposite is now true. There is a very coordinated and well-financed campaign led by Israel and its supporters literally to criminalize political activism against Israeli occupation, based on the particular fear that the worldwide campaign of Boycott, Sanctions, and Divestment, or BDS — modeled after the 1980s campaign that brought down the Israel-allied apartheid regime in South Africa — is succeeding.

Syria: At the Gateway of A Greater War

An invasion into Syria would constitute an act of war – and beyond that – affirmation that NATO was behind the ISIS menace from the beginning. While leaks like that of the United States’ own Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in 2015 have exposed this rhetorically, a NATO invasion of Syria to save an ISIS stronghold from destruction would prove it demonstrably.

The fact that the US is attempting to distance itself politically from both Turkey and Saudi Arabia – who has also pledged to carry out ground operations in Syria amid the collapse of terrorist fronts across the country – indicates a possible attempt to produce plausible deniability ahead of a much larger provocation or intervention.

Just as US policymakers had plotted in 2009 to use an apparent “unilateral” attack by Israel upon Iran to provoke a retaliation the US could then use as a pretext to “reluctantly’ go to war, a similar strategy appears to be materializing along Syria’s borders today.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Most likely, he will be spelling out precisely the kind of US military aid Turkey can expect, when they invade Syria.

GCHQ intel used to develop Stuxnet, claims new documentary

The super worm known as Stuxnet was but a cog in an active US war program in which hundreds of thousands of network implants and backdoors in Iran networks were actively maintained to facilitate a devastating barrage of hacking attacks, a documentary claims.

Zero Days, due to screen at the Berlin Film Festival today, claims that Stuxnet was just one part of an operation called "Olympic Games" that is itself part of a wider effort dubbed "Nitro Zeus" that involves hundreds of US defence personnel.

Nitro Zeus may also involve Israel, the film alleges.

Reports from those who've seen or been briefed on the film suggest it alleges that Stuxnet's authors attempted to keep the program covert by restricting the malware to infect only Iranian machines.

The Deafness Before the Storm (*Bush Didn't Read The Report)

IT was perhaps the most famous presidential briefing in history.

On Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. Bush received a classified review of the threats posed by Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network, Al Qaeda. That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal.

(*CURRENT: Cheney Campaigning For Jeb
The former vice president then dismissed several of Trump’s specific notions. He insisted the Bush administration did not lie about believing Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and scoffed at the idea the president failed to act before 9/11. The White House had “no actionable intelligence” at that point to suggest there was a serious threat, he said, adding that, following the attack, Bush put in place surveillance programs that provided important national security information. )

Auschwitz creates ‘Remember’ app to correct ‘Polish death camp’ misnomer

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum has announced the release of a new app called ‘Remember’, created to help users avoid the use of terms such as ‘Polish death camp’ or ‘Polish extermination camp’, calling the error to the writer’s attention and suggesting more appropriate wording.

This is an important distinction for the Polish people. The use of the term ‘Polish death camp’ implies Polish responsibility for atrocities committed by the German Third Reich on Polish soil. Auschwitz was built by the German Third Reich in occupied Poland, and the implication that the Polish people were involved or responsible for Auschwitz is “very painful to bear for the Poles”, according to Dr Piotr M. A. Cywi?ski, the director of the Auschwitz Museum. “The Auschwitz camp was built by the German state on the territory of occupied Poland which were forcibly incorporated into the Third Reich.

Was Justice Scalia murdered? Forget “conspiracy theory.” This is real.

The Post published extraordinary statements from the Facebook page of “William O. Ritchie, former head of criminal investigations for D.C. police”:

“As a former homicide commander, I am stunned that no autopsy was ordered for Justice Scalia.”

“You have a Supreme Court Justice who died, not in attendance of a physician. You have a non-homicide trained US Marshal tell the justice of peace that no foul play was observed. You have a justice of the peace pronounce death while not being on the scene and without any medical training opining that the justice died of a heart attack. What medical proof exists of a myocardial Infarction? Why not a cerebral hemorrhage?”

“How can the Marshal say, without a thorough post mortem, that he was not injected with an illegal substance that would simulate a heart attack…”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, political assassinations are much more common in this country than people would like to think.

It was interesting, watching President Obama's face at his news conference yesterday. Without the sound on,I looked at him as he took questions from the press; he was very combative, very nervous. He was not the President Obama we are most accustomed to seeing, generally calm and collected.

It was almost as though he realized, very clearly, that something had been found out, accidentally, that he absolutely didn't want to be found out.

It was no secret in DC that of all the Supreme Court Justices, Scalia was the one he hated the most; and his "untimely death" presents Obama with a monumental opportunity to "stack the court" in favor of a Supreme Court Judge who will most likely champion his causes.

Feb 17 11:35

It is inescapable historical reality that leaders of nations will lie to their people to trick them into wars they otherwise would have refused. It is not "conspiracy theory" to suggest that leaders of nations lie to trick their people into wars. It is undeniable fact.

This brings us to the present case.

Did the government of the United States lie to the American people, more to the point, did President Bush and his Neocon associates lie to Congress, to initiate a war of conquest in Iraq?

This question has been given currency by a memo leaked from inside the British Government which clearly indicates a decision to go to war followed by the "fixing" of information around that policy. This is, as they say, a smoking gun.

But the fact is that long before this memo surfaced, it had become obvious that the US Government, aided by that of Great Britain, was lying to create the public support for a war in Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Conservative establishment is playing the "How DARE you" gambit in response to Trump's comment that Bush lied to start the Iraq war. But Trump is correct, as this article reminds us.

Obama’s ‘Moderate’ Syrian Deception

If the tentative agreement on a Syrian ceasefire negotiated by the United States and Russia falls apart before it can be implemented, the reason will be the Obama administration’s insistence that Russian airstrikes are targeting “legitimate opposition groups.”

That is how Secretary of State John Kerry defined the issue on Saturday, repeating a propaganda theme that began, in a different form, as soon as the Russian air offensive in Syria began in late September of 2015. The Obama administration portrayed the Russian campaign in support of Syrian operations as hitting “moderate” opposition forces, suggesting that only strikes against ISIS would be legitimate.

It is painfully apparent, to anyone with more than two brain cells, that this administration is pathologically incapable of stopping lying, both to the American people, and to the world, on its consistent support of ISIS, in order to get Al-Assad out of Damascus.

The Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, will be visiting Ankara on the 29th of this month; that's one week from Monday.

After his return to the US, which will probably happen during the first full week in March, expect things in Syria to escalate very quickly.

Turkey, Saudis Seek Backing for Syria Invasion

Having apparently gotten Saudi Arabia on board with the idea, Turkey is now seeking broader international support for the idea of a ground invasion into northern Syria, arguing that it’s necessary to stop the “brutal Russians” and to beat back the Kurds from the border.

Interestingly, when the Saudis were talking up invading last week, it was couched as a way to fight ISIS. Turkey’s own talk of a ground offensive, which President Erdogan insists is the only way to “stop the war,” is being presented wholly as about fighting the Kurds and keeping them from taking territory from ISIS.

Though Erdogan insists the Saudis and some unnamed EU nations are on board, it’s not clear to what extent that’s the case, as the Saudis and Russians are in the midst of key economic efforts, and probably don’t want to suddenly be at war with one another. Turkey’s government, by contrast, seems to be itching for a war with Russia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The war with Russia over Syria is something the American government would love to see happen, using the Saudi and Turkish militaries, initially, as their proxy forces.

But here's the problem; the US, Turkey, and NATO, collectively, do not have the weaponry, the troop strength, the money or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia. This is what makes a military scenario so dangerously scary.

Cheney Calls Trump a 'Liberal Democrat' After Bush 9/11 Claims

Former Vice President Dick Cheney wants Donald Trump to get his facts straight. Cheney, who served under President George W. Bush from 2001-2009, sounded off on Trump for claiming that Bush failed to keep Americans safe in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks at Saturday’s GOP debate in South Carolina. Trump then held two press conferences on the campaign trail this weekend in case the press didn’t hear him the first time.

(*When Jeb called the family into his campaign , I didn't realize he meant the WHOLE family .
Cheney's screwing with us . '
claiming that Bush failed to keep Americans safe in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks' I don't recall that coming from Trump . I just remeber him saying 9/11 happened on Bush' watch . And if memory is serving me well , I seem to recall George W Bush & Richard Dick Cheney sitting in the highest executive chairs in the nation , on that day .)

At least 5 killed, 10 injured as blast hits military dorm in Turkish capital Ankara

At least 5 people have been killed and 10 more injured in a car explosion in Ankara, local authorities said. The blast happened in close proximity to the Turkish parliament building, reportedly hitting a military dormitory.

The scene of the explosion is located in close proximity to Turkey's parliament, the Presidency of the General Staff, and Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard commands.

The Daily Sabah reported that the explosion took place when a military vehicle was passing by.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This reeks of a false-flag to be blamed on Syria and the Kurds so that Turkey can launch the invasion.

The Mainstream Media Wants Marco Rubio To Be Your Next President

First, you deliver a debate performance so notably bad, so mechanical and unthinking, that you have everyone buzzing about it, even those in the media who gush over you. Then you take responsibility for being awful because, after all, you don’t want to give the impression that you might not really be responsible for uttering the words you uttered – four times.

An ominous wire report sent a shiver down my spine when I read it. On January 28, US Army Lieutenant General Sean MacFarland, head of the US-led coalition against Daesh (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria, said that the US military was on site at the Mosul Dam to assess “the potential” for the collapse. Were it to be blown up, it would send a flood of water down the heavily populated Tigris river valley. “The likelihood of the dam collapsing is something we are trying to determine right now… all we know is when it goes, it’s going to go fast and that’s bad,” MacFarland told reporters in Baghdad. The US State Department estimates up to 500,000 people could be killed and over one million rendered homeless should Iraq’s biggest dam collapse.

The US State Department estimates up to 500,000 people could be killed and over one million rendered homeless should Iraq’s biggest dam collapse.

It would likely flood the large oilfields of Kirkuk on its path, rendering them inoperable. Whoever controls the Mosul Dam, the largest in Iraq, controls most of the country’s water and power resource. The dam holds back over 12 billion cubic meters of water that is crucial for irrigation in the farming areas of Iraq’s western Nineveh province. In a 2007 letter, US General David Petraeus, a key figure in the destruction of Iraq and in the creation of what became DAESH, warned Iraq’s government that “A catastrophic failure of Mosul Dam would result in flooding along the Tigris River all the way to Baghdad.”

Washington Proxy War Builds

Combine this statement by General MacFarland, head of the US-led coalition against Daesh (ISIL) in Iraq and Syria on that Mosul Dam, the Biden talks to get Turkey’s military invasion accepted by Iraq “in the war against DAESH” and the encouragement by State Secretary John Kerry of Prince Salman’s Saudi war against Yemen, as well as the recent Davos statements by Ash Carter. Add to that the fact that the Saudi and Turkish militaries just announced plans undertake joint military actions to “cooperate against common threats.”

As reported at on 26 January of this year:

The Turkish and U.S. militaries are intensifying dialogue on cooperation against the Islamic State, as well as efforts to seal the Turkish-Syrian border, following U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s recent visit to Turkey, Hurriyet reported Jan. 26. The commander of the U.S. Air Forces Central Command and the Combined Force Air Component, Lt. Gen. Charles Brown, is scheduled to visit Ankara and southeastern Diyarbakir on Feb. 1-2 to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Air Forces Commander Gen. Abidin Unal. The visit to Diyarbakır, home to a large Turkish air base that is not currently being used in the anti-Islamic State campaign but is available for secondary operations, is expected to facilitate discussions on future uses of the base. Unnamed sources said that additional U.S. delegations are expected to visit Turkey in the future for additional coordination on the fight against the Islamic State, particularly a joint operation to clear the so-called Mare-Jarablus line of Islamic State forces. U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is expected to arrive in Turkey on Feb. 29 for a three-day visit focused on technical and infrastructural assistance to help secure Turkey’s border. The Turks are determined to clear the Islamic State from a corridor of land stretching along the Syrian side of the Turkey-Syria border.

OK, folks, 29 February is one week from next Monday.Homeland Security Secretary Johnson will be back in DC, most probably no later than the 4th of March.

And the ringer that really trips off the brazen, damned lie in this article is the reality that Turkey has not really been fighting ISIS; they have been enabling ISIS, and allowing them into cross through Turkey into Syria. As reported in on 2 February of this month:

Syrian ground forces, bolstered by Hezbollah fighters and Iranian advisers, and backed by highly effective Russian airpower, have cut off terrorist supply lines leading from NATO-member Turkey’s territory. This not only includes so-called “moderate” terrorist groups affiliated with Al Qaeda and its regional affiliate, the Al Nusra Front, but also ISIS itself. The same CNN claiming Syria and Russia are responsible for the current crisis, admitted in their article, “You thought Syria couldn’t get much worse. Think again,” that (emphasis added): To the east of Aleppo, Kurdish forces are, with American support, eyeing the remaining ISIS strongholds along the Turkish border — Jarablus and Manbij. The U.S. wants ISIS out, to remove its access to resupply of materiel and fighters from Turkey. The question all of CNN’s readers should ask, and one any real journalist were there any at the media organization would have answered, is: “why if the US is stationed in Turkey, doesn’t it and its Turkish allies, NATO members since the 1950s, interdict and stop ISIS’ access to ‘resupply of materiel and fighters’ on the Turkish side of the border?” The answer is as disturbing as it is obvious – the US and Turkey created ISIS, are arming and funding it to this very day, and are using the existence and atrocities of their own proxy forces as a pretext to further compound the misery, division, destruction, and humanitarian crisis in Syria, including the subsequent refugee crisis that has in turn affected surrounding nations and even as far as Europe and North America.

So, if Homeland Security Fuhrer Johnson is in Ankara, it will not about getting rid of Isis; he will be discussing how to further the war against Syria, and topple Al Assad, even to the point creating of an armed confrontation between Russia and the US, but using Turkey and Saudi Arabia as proxies for as long as possible to adapt a posture of plausible deniability.
