Senator Rand Paul's campaign is teetering on the edge, with the once-trendy presidential candidate telling fellow Kentucky Republicans that his chances of winning the 2016 GOP nomination are no better than “1 in 10.”

“Actually, his chances are probably more like 1 in 50,” said University of Kentucky professor Al Cross, the dean of the state’s political observers. “He’s kind of disappeared on us.”

Obama condemns: Killing and harvesting body parts of humans is ‘craziness’

The timing is unbelievably uncanny.

During an appearance Monday at the Young African Leaders Initiative Presidential Summit at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., President Obama was asked by an attendee about the practice of killing human beings in Africa with albinism and harvesting their body parts for "ritual purposes."

The devastating irony of the president's answer, coming at a time when the United States' attention is focused on the macabre reality of what is happening in Planned Parenthood's clinics, is impossible to miss.

The question was asked just one day before the release of the fifth - and most gruesome yet - video in a series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood's practice of harvesting and selling the body parts of aborted babies.

Nebraska Teachers Sign Pledge Promising To Propagandize Students

Hastings School District in Nebraska recently caught the attention of the ACLU by forcing teachers to sign a pledge promising to propagandize children with nationalistic propaganda.
The pledge demanded that teachers mold students to have “love and devotion” for the U.S. government, giving a glimpse into the true motive of government education.

The issue was quickly noticed by the ACLU, which deemed the policy unconstitutional and demanded the school district stop forcing the teachers to make such a promise.
“You need to know that the statute is a dead letter law which has been clearly overruled by the highest court in the land. Attempting to enforce the state statute is unconstitutional and will expose the school district to liability to a civil rights lawsuit,” the ACLU said in a statement last week.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder; in the state of Nebraska, does molding kids to have " and devotion for the US government..." mean never have any disagreements with the policy of that government, even when those policies are pig-headedly, ham-fistedly not in the best interests of the American people?!?

Is that "love and devotion" supposed to be complete and unquestioning, even when the wars in which our American kids fight, die, or come home maimed for life, are ultimately for private profit, as we well know they are?!?

It would appear here that the state of Nebraska is trying to inculcate blind obedience to the State, to the complete disfavor of logical, critical thinking.

Were I a parent in Nebraska, understanding this, I would be hauling my kid out of the public school there so fast that the principal's head would be spinning around faster than did Linda Blair's in "The Exorcist".

David Miliband dragged into Hillary Clinton email scandal after it emerges confidential British intelligence was sent to presidential hopeful's private account

David Miliband was dragged into the Hillary Clinton email scandal today, after it emerged that confidential information which he had provided ended up in her unsecured private account.

Mrs Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner for the 2016 presidential election, has come under fire over revelations she had a secret email account as Secretary of State.

She has repeatedly insisted that she did not send or receive any classified information on her private account.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given that the office of Secretary of State involves large amounts of classified data, if Hillary insists she did not use her private server to handle that classified data and never used a US Government server ... then what server WAS she using for classified information?!?

That only one of the huge holes in Hillary's lies!

Price for TSA's failed body scanners: $160 million

It’s now becoming clear exactly how many tens of millions of dollars the TSA spent on body scanners that have missed airport security threats, outraged passengers and brought the agency under congressional scrutiny.

The $160 million bill includes $120 million for the body scanners now in place in hundreds of airports nationwide, according to newly disclosed figures obtained by POLITICO. The rest of the money went to the agency’s “naked” X-ray scanners, which it pulled from airports two years ago amid worries about health risks and the devices’ detailed images of travelers’ bodies.

Ted Cruz viciously attacks Jimmy Carter a day after his cancer announcement

Besides arguing with actress Ellen Page on Friday, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz attacked former President Jimmy Carter and his administration by name a day after Carter announced that he is dealing with brain cancer.

Footage posted by MSNBC shows the Republican presidential candidate telling Iowa State Fair attendees, “I think the parallels between this administration and the Carter administration are uncanny. Same failed domestic policy, same misery, stagnation and malaise, same feckless and naive foreign policy. In fact, the exact same countries, Russia and Iran, openly laughing at and mocking the president of the United States.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

A short memo to Ted(born in Canada) Cruz: although what you said may have been factually true, Carter, as a reactionary President (ultimately a reaction to the Nixon years and scandals) was an outsider who got set up to fail, so that "business as usual" could be made to happen in the following election cycle

And the timing, right after Carter's announcement that his cancer had spread to his brain, puts you well and truly into a special category of "kick a guy while he is dying" politics, and identifies you as an emotionally interesting "piece of work".

Is THIS what we want from a future President?!? I absolutely think not.

The Plague of American Authoritarianism

sound familiar? snip: societies that idealized war, soldiers, nationalism, militarism, political certainty, fallen warriors, racial cleansing, and a dogmatic allegiance to the homeland. Education and the media were the propaganda tools of authoritarianism, merging fascist and religious symbols with the language of God, family, and country, and were integral to promoting servility and conformity among the populace.

For decades, the Soviet Gulags under Joseph Stalin had been considered some of the worst prisons in all of history. But now things have changed.

The United States has far exceeded the horrific tolls of the gulags. In the Soviet example, there were more than 18 million victims during the gulags’ use over four decades.

Around a million people died in the gulags over the years.

Now, as of 2009, the United States tolls soar higher than 7 million in prison, on probation or in some way caught up in the American prison system.

On the surface that might sound like a lot less than the gulag total above. But when you factor in all who have been put through the US prison system, we find a total that is higher than 19 million. That’s more than the 18 million locked up in the gulag system over those forty years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The American prison system is an absolute, complete, total failure, and if you don't believe me, take a look at the recidivism rate.

As reported at

National Statistics on Recidivism Bureau of Justice Statistics studies have found high rates of recidivism among released prisoners. One study tracked 404,638 prisoners in 30 states after their release from prison in 2005.[1] The researchers found that: Within three years of release, about two-thirds (67.8 percent) of released prisoners were rearrested. Within five years of release, about three-quarters (76.6 percent) of released prisoners were rearrested. Of those prisoners who were rearrested, more than half (56.7 percent) were arrested by the end of the first year. Property offenders were the most likely to be rearrested, with 82.1 percent of released property offenders arrested for a new crime compared with 76.9 percent of drug offenders, 73.6 percent of public order offenders and 71.3 percent of violent offenders.

IF the American prison system worked, these numbers would not be anywhere near as high.

And it galls me for all the money spent here, the outcome is so absurdly lousy.

In Sweden, they are closing their prisons, because they don't have enough prisoners to fill them. And why?!? Because the entire focus of incarceration is rehabilitation, period, end of discussion. The Swedish model looks to encourage family involvement, so that when a prisoner has served his or her time, they can re-integrate with society, and become productive again.

But particularly with the private prisons, low recidivism rates hurts their bottom line, so when prisoners are released, they are generally worse off, emotionally, physically, and mentally, that they are most probably going to offend again.

This is so morally wrong, both for society and the individual prisoners, that I hardly know where to begin.

Now for the latest. From the Wall Street Journal:

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. will bring on Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, the recently retired chief of staff of the Army, as a senior adviser to the firm, the bank announced Thursday.

Starting Sept. 1, Gen. Odierno will advise the bank’s board and Chief Executive James Dimon on topics such as the risks of doing business in various countries, technology and physical and cybersecurity.

At J.P. Morgan, Gen. Odierno will help structure the firm’s leadership training programs, sit on the firm’s military and veterans affairs council, and will represent the bank in meetings with government officials and policy makers.

Banks are sending notices of account closure out to small businesses across the country, to clients they’ve done business with for years, even decades. The reason? They often don’t provide one.
But a growing number of business owners believe they know why they’re being cut off from the financial system. It’s Operation Choke Point, ostensibly an attempt to crack down on fraudulent businesses, but in reality a dragnet that has ensnared innocent entrepreneurs unfairly classified as “high-risk” players.

US Wants To Increase Global Lethal And Surveillance Drone Flights To 30,000 By 2019

Capacity for lethal airstrikes — despite the U.S.’ existent infamous reputation in its massive current program — will increase still further through a joint effort by the Air Force, Army, and Special Operations Command. Ironically, this news comes on the heels of a report that — because of what amounts to sibling rivalry — around $500 million has been wasted in attempts to bring the Air Force and Army into a combined drone purchasing program of the same Predator drones whose flights are now to be increased.

"Saving America?" No, Donald Trump Is a Clinton Distraction Tactic

It’s been pretty shocking that people are actually walking around talking about how Donald Trump is going to “Save America”. If you ever needed a sign that the country is lost, that’s gotta be it.

But worse is the fact that Trump is so obviously a Clinton plant and people just ignore the facts because right now he’s “telling it like it is”. More like he’s tell you what you want to hear at a time when people are desperate to hear any truth coming out of the American political-industrial complex.

First of all, if anyone ever had half a chance in Hell of changing anything in this country, rest assured The Powers That Shouldn’t Be would not let that person anywhere near the Oval Office. The last time this country had a president that tried to change things, that person got his brains blown out in front of the entire country.

FLASHBACK - Tech company which maintained Hillary's secret server was sued for 'illegally accessing' database and 'stealing White House military advisers' phone numbers'

The Internet company used by Hillary Clinton to maintain her private server was sued for stealing dozens of phone lines including some which were used by the White House.

Platte River Networks is said to have illegally accessed the master database for all US phone numbers.

It also seized 390 lines in a move that created chaos across the US government.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Now Hillary Is Blaming The Government’s ‘Ridiculous Classification Rules’

Last week Hillary Clinton was blaming Republicans for her email scandal woes; this week she’s blaming the federal government and its “ridiculous classification rules.”

The Democratic presidential candidate sent a tweet early Friday morning which linked to a Politico article and called the government’s classification protocols “the real problem.”

Webmaster's Commentary:
