Trump and the Jews - An Analysis by Lawrence Davidson

As problematic as it is, the ascendency of Donald Trump gives the American Jews a second chance to make the right choice, to join with their natural allies and fight for the equal rights of all groups. U.S. Jews should think long and hard about this, for it may well be that their second chance will also be their last chance.

Australian high school students have created 3.7 grams of an active ingredient used in the medicine Daraprim for $20, which would sell in the United States for between $US35,000 and $US110,000.

In August 2015, the price of Daraprim in the US rose from $US13.50 per tablet to $US750 when Turing Pharmaceuticals, and its controversial then-chief executive Martin Shkreli, acquired the drug's exclusive rights and hiked up the price.

Don’t let the Atlanticist Integrationists convince you that my exposure as a Russian agent is just a CIA ruse to plant an agent on you. Kremlin asks Turkey to explain Erdogan's remark about toppling Assad

The Kremlin said on Wednesday that Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan's statement that his forces in Syria were there to topple President Bashar al-Assad had come as a surprise to Moscow and that it expected an explanation from Ankara.

"The announcement really came as news to us," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call.

"It is a very serious statement and one which differs from previous ones and with our understanding of the situation. We hope that our Turkish partners will provide us with some kind of explanation about this."

I'm talking of course about the US Army Corps of Engineers whose careless, sloppy work on the New Orleans levee system almost succeeded in destroying that city. Venezuela's currency now worth so little shopkeepers weigh vast piles of notes instead of counting them

Inflation in Venezuela is expected to reach 720 per cent this year, with the largest bolívar bill now worth just five US cents on the black market.
Some shopkeepers have reportedly taken to weighing rather than counting the wads of cash customers hand them, and standard-size wallets have become all but useless in the socialist South American state. Instead, many people stuff huge volumes of cash into handbags, money belts, or backpacks, in scenes analysts have said are suggestive of "runaway" inflation.

What a Cluster: Jill Stein Now Suing both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to Force Hand Recounts

Trump does at least have a point in the fact that Stein has focused her recount efforts specifically on states which will reverse the outcome of the election and throw the whole thing Hillary’s way. It’s that last point that makes the entire thing seem utterly ludicrous.

The real question out of all this is why… Why Jill? Why? What exactly is her motivation here?

Nancy Pelosi Torches Democrat Trying To Unseat Her As Party Leader

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tore into fellow Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan (Ohio) on Monday for suggesting she can’t lead the party with working-class voters, and called Ryan’s claims that she’s focused on empowering herself within their caucus “almost pathetic.”

Both Pelosi and Ryan are vying for the job of House Democratic leader, whom the caucus will elect on Wednesday. Pelosi has led the party since 2003, and Ryan is making a long-shot bid to unseat her. He’s advocating a major shakeup in leadership and an expanded role for rank-and-file members after Democrats took a drubbing in the elections, due in large part to white working-class voters showing up in droves for President-elect Donald Trump.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How I love to see politicians eating their own, in public!!

But seriously, Ryan is correct, at least in part, on his assessment of why Clinton lost the election, and what the Democrats have to do to become a voice for the voiceless and forgotten.

The other two issues, of course, which Ryan will not touch with a 20 foot poll, is the horrific corruption of the Clinton Cartel, and that smug sense of entitlement which just oozed from every one of Clinton's pores whenever she spoke.

HOW FAKE NEWS SPREADS — CORPORATE MEDIA SPREAD STORY OF ‘ACTIVE SHOOTER’ DURING A KNIFE ATTACK

For all the noise out of the mainstream corporate media about “fake news,” it didn’t take long for a mass knife attack at Ohio State University on Monday morning to morph into widespread reporting of an “active shooter.”

This phenomenon highlights exactly how the “fog of war,” and rush to be the first to report on a story, can result in a story being reported fallaciously. Of course, the narrative sold by the mainstream is that alternative media is unreliable, and thus, corporate media must be relied upon as the standard bearers of “truthful and legitimate” information.

Obviously, this type of wildfire reporting of false information across the whole of mainstream media calls into question the veracity of the reporting and fact checking done by these mainstream outlets that are so quick to call independent news “fake.”

See how that works?

Webmaster's Commentary:

...And THESE are the folks we are supposed to believe, when they absolutely, incontrovertibly, have their "facts" wrong?!?

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, but perfectly predictable from the people who swore to you that "Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction!"

OBAMA’S LEGACY: OBAMACARE FAILURE, DRONE POLICY FAILURE, GUANTANAMO FAILURE, NSA SPYING FAILURE

Gallup’s Daily Obama Approval Rating poll shows Americans view president Obama consistently higher now than at any time since 2009.

His popularity is more of a reflection on Obama being a likable person, than having likable policies. It’s also a reflection on the extreme unpopularity of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Likable or not, Obama’s legacy will be one of complete failure. Vox reports The whole Democratic Party is now a smoking pile of rubble.

Vox missed some things, lots of things actually, but the headline is accurate enough.

Everything Obama stood for is about to be undone, except perhaps his drone policy which was a miserable failure and should be undone.

Obamacare Failure
Drone Policy Failure
Trade policy Failure
Libya Failure
NSA Spying Failure
Guantanamo Failure
Russia Failure

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Shedlock left off two very important failures of the Obama "legacy"; his failure to stop the war in Afghanistan, and his failure to prevent the absolute crash of the of the middle class, courtesy of intense offshoring/outsourcing of American jobs.

In President Obama's mind, this is what his America looks like: moneyed, connected, and elite:

What Obama thinks America looks like

Unfortunately, for way too many Americans, living under his watch as President, this is what their America looks like:

Tent Cities Continue to Grow in California

As reported by Tyler Durden at zerohedge.com in September of this year:

"Submitted by Michael Snyder via The Economic Collapse blog,

Just like during the last economic crisis, homeless encampments are popping up all over the nation as poverty grows at a very alarming rate. According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, more than half a million people are homeless in America right now, but that figure is increasing by the day. And it isn’t just adults that we are talking about. It has been reported that that the number of homeless children in this country has risen by 60 percent since the last recession, and Poverty USA says that a total of 1.6 million children slept either in a homeless shelter or in some other form of emergency housing at some point last year. Yes, the stock market may have been experiencing a temporary boom for the last couple of years, but for those on the low end of the economic scale things have just continued to deteriorate."

I am cautiously optimistic that President Elect Trump will be more of a President for ALL the American people; not just the moneyed; the elite; and the connected.

But only time will tell.

COPS AND CITIZENS WILL BE FORCED TO BUY 'SMART GUNS'

Three private companies, Armatix Smart System, iGun Technology and Kodiak Intelligun have recentlyy developed "smart gun" technology using RFID sensors and biometric sensors.

So why would the feds, spend two decades and millions of dollars trying to develop "smart guns"?

The answer is both disturbing and predictable.

A National Institute of Justice (NIJ) report, noted that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has used $12.6 million in taxpayer money to develop 'smart gun' technology. Most of the funding—approximately $11.1 million—was provided by NIJ itself and the Bureau of Justice Assistance. Fyi, the Feds have been working on 'smart gun' technology for over two decades (see page 5).

DHS is behind 'smart gun' technology

Perhaps the most disturbing thing about 'smart guns' is finding out who's behind it. According to page 12 of the report, DHS and the DOJ have already determined what 'smart gun' requirements will be used.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Such requirements will leave law-abiding, gun-safety conscious citizens defenseless.

But then again, that's the plan.

The city of Chicago is an alleged "gun free zone"; and yet, as reported at www.dnainfo.com on 30 September, 2016:

With September nearly over and three months still left in the year, Chicago has had more than 3,100 shooting victims — 300 more than the number of people shot in all of 2015. There have been 2,588 shooting incidents so far this year resulting in 3,173 people being shot, according to data compiled by DNAinfo from the Chicago Police Department and Illinois State Police. There were 2,327 incidents and 2,843 people shot in all of last year.

The bottom line is, and particularly if you live in a very violent, crowded city, like Chicago, the police cannot protect you: that is simple fact.

So what can the state and Federal governments actually do to turn this around?!?

1. Give all kids a first class education, preparing them for jobs that WILL exist into the 21st century. And forget manual labor; very shortly, robots will be doing most of that. Make sure that they can all speak a standard English before they can graduate from high school.

2. Bring back meaningful jobs, with decent wages, to the inner cities. Crime is born, many times, from desperation, and that desperation has to be addressed.

3. Legalize drugs, to take the profit motive out of it. The war on drugs has been an abject, complete, and highly costly, failure.

When there is no financial incentive for getting people hooked, that market place will implode, and the gangs will have to figure out something else to peddle (hey, how about organic, non-gmo food?!?)

Turkey entered Syria to end al-Assad’s rule: President Erdo?an

The Turkish military launched its operations in Syria to end the rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an said Nov. 29.

“In my estimation, nearly 1 million people have died in Syria. These deaths are still continuing without exception for children, women and men. Where is the United Nations? What is it doing? Is it in Iraq? No. We preached patience but could not endure in the end and had to enter Syria together with the Free Syrian Army [FSA],” Erdo?an said at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul.

“Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian soil. The issue is to provide lands to their real owners. That is to say we are there for the establishment of justice. We entered there to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror. [We didn’t enter] for any other reason,” the president said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I nearly fell out of my chair, upon reading this, and thought, "Is this some horrific mistranslation?!? Has this guy utterly lost his reality licence?!?

But I googled the headline, and this came up in over 5 different times, in 5 different, credible resources, and yes, the headline is absolutely correct; Turkey has just declared war on the government of Syria.

There is however, a slightly different "spin" on this, courtesy of Russia Today (rt.com) In its coverage it added the following caveat: "However, many observers have said that Ankara aims to suppress Kurdish forces in Syria and prevent them from connecting three de facto autonomous Kurdish areas into one enclave south of the Turkish border."

Putin will not let a decap strike against Al-Assad happen.

So what's Erdogan's plan to avoid military conflict with the Russians, if regime change in Damascus is really his goal here?!?

Has President Obama, and NATO's Secretary General Stoltenberg given Erdogan some kind of covert promises to come in and assist, if the going gets rough against the Russian military (which it will)?!?

IF the answer to that question is in the affirmative, then the US government is on it's way to war with Russia and World War III even before Donald Trump gets to take the Oath of Office.

And what are the corporate presstitutes saying about this right now?!?

Absoflippinglutely NOTHING; zero, nada, zip.

THE CORPORATE MEDIA'S GULAG OF THE MIND

One of the most remarkable ironies of The Washington Post's recent evidence-free fabrication of purported "Russian propaganda" websites (including this site) is how closely it mimics the worst excesses of the USSR's Stalinist era.

Those unfamiliar with the Stalinist era's excesses will benefit from reading Solzhenitsyn's three-volume masterpiece The Gulag Archipelago: 1918-1956, The Gulag Archipelago 2 and Gulag Archipelago 3.

One episode is especially relevant to the totalitarian tactics of The Washington Post's evidence-free accusation. Solzhenitsyn tells the story of one poor fellow who made the mistake of recounting a dream he'd had the previous night to his co-workers.

In his dream, Stalin had come to some harm. In Solzhenitsyn's account, the fellow was remorseful about the dream.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When it comes to corporate media, I am anti-lie, particularly regarding those lies, either printed, spoken, or on my computer screen, created with the intent of selling me wars, which have absolutely nothing to do with protecting my country, but everything to do with enhancing private corporate profit.

In fact, the leadership of every single outlet which declared, without doing anything remotely related to fact checking, that Saddam Hussein had "weapons of mass destruction", should be charged as an accessory to the genocide of the Iraqi people, tried, and convicted, and do hard jail time for this.

I know that will only happen when pigs fly, so my brothers and sisters who are all part of the independent media, I say; hang in there.

Don't let this panicked smear job throw you off course for one second, because it demonstrates that the whorespondents and presstitutes can no longer shape the agenda: we do!!

Millions around the world are again gawking over police brutality against water protectors. However, whereas these acts are obvious, those of contracted intelligence firms remain more insidious. “Do not believe that your cell phones or your computers are clean and uncompromised”, said journalist Jeremy Scahill. “I guarantee you that they’re using the entire suite of surveillance devices.” Scahill was giving water protectors and fellow journalists in Standing Rock advice on Democracy Now.

But in the past few years, it’s become apparent that anti-extraction protests are part of the new climate movement. FLASHBACK: Heimdal, North Dakota, Evacuated After Fiery Oil Train Crash

BNSF loses billions when DAPL starts pumping.

A tiny North Dakota town was evacuated Wednesday after a train carrying crude oil derailed and several cars burst into flames, local authorities said. It is the latest in a string of explosive oil train derailments that have raised concerns about the large volume of crude moving across America's tracks.

No injuries have been reported from the derailment of a BNSF train near Heimdal, North Dakota. The town, which in 2010 had a population of 27, has been evacuated, as have farms near the crash site.

Rail Transport of Crude Oil Increases as Pipeline Falls Short

“We never thought we competed with pipeline until four years ago when we moved our first unit train of crude by rail,” Dean Wise, a vice president for BNSF Railway, based in Fort Worth, said at a rail conference in January. “Now BNSF is moving eight trains a day.” (BNSF is a corporate sponsor of The Texas Tribune.)

In Texas, the crude-by-rail boom has led to construction of facilities to help deliver the product to Gulf Coast refineries. It has also drawn concerns about the safety of moving such volatile materials throughout the state, in light of a spate of recent accidents.

Activists claim they’ve shut down all pipelines carrying crude oil from Canada to US

Climate activists say they’ve shut down all five pipelines carrying tar sand oil from Canada to the US. Operating in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and Washington state, the activists manually turned off the pipelines’ safety valves as an act of solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, according to an online statement.

In a statement emailed to The Verge, Ali Hounsell, a spokesperson for Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline, confirmed that this morning "reckless trespassers" broke into a location on Trans Mountain's Puget Sound pipeline system in Washington state. Local authorities responded, the statement reads, and arrested three individuals. "We are conducting a thorough inspection to ensure the integrity of the pipeline system," Hounsell concludes.

North Dakota state capitol vandalized by anti-oil activists

By Ike Walker | Posted: Tue 11:52 AM, Nov 01, 2016
BISMARCK, N.D. The North Dakota Highway Patrol wants to know who poured motor oil all over the front of the capitol building last night. Investigators say the oil was poured on the doors, sidewalk and walls. The vandals left a sign that said "you can't drink oil" a possible reference to the North Dakota Access Pipeline controversy.

Webmaster addition: This reads like a PR hoax to demonize the protesters.

Authorities: Man with gun near protest camp was 'victim,' won't be charged

MANDAN, N.D. – The Morton County Sheriff’s Department said it will not file charges against a man who pulled a rifle from his pickup truck as he was confronted by Dakota Access Pipeline protesters Thursday, providing a description of events that differed from the one shared by protesters.

The man told authorities he heard people gathered outside the construction entrance telling him to leave and then to stop. As he left the area south on Highway 1806, another vehicle deliberately hit him, forcing his pickup through a fence and causing it to get stuck near the Backwater Bridge just north of the main protest camp, the release stated.

Nov 28 11:23

Checking the facts once again

1.CLAIM: The pipeline encroaches on indigenous lands.

TRUTH: The Dakota Access Pipeline traverses a path on private property and does not cross into the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s reservation. 100% of landowners in North Dakota voluntarily signed easements to allow for construction of the pipeline on their property. Nearly the entire route of the 1,172 mile pipeline has been sited and approved by relevant state and federal agencies and more than 22% of the pipeline has already been completed. To the extent possible, the Dakota Access Pipeline was routed to parallel existing infrastructure, such as the Northern Border Pipeline, to avoid environmentally sensitive areas and areas of potential cultural significance.

2. CLAIM: The pipeline exposes the Tribe’s water supply to contamination.

Tribal Ranchers believe DAPL protesters responsible for spike in bison deaths

The protesters are even stealing from Tribal Ranchers. The last time I checked this rancher had lost 11 bison at a cost of $65,000.

An enrolled tribal member, Mrs. Fischer and her husband, Ernie, are convinced that at least 13 of their bison have been butchered, barbecued and eaten by some of the hundreds of activists trespassing through the livestock pastures of Cannonball Ranch since the protests erupted in August.

Nov 28 11:02

False (sadly): Buffalo did not stampede DAPL protest at Standing Rock on their own

Ranchers have had livestock including cattle and bison rustled and killed and butchered by these fools.

Nothing would make me happier than to report that the viral story circulating about the buffalo showing up on their own to support the water protectors at Standing Rock was true—especially since what I teach is that animals have opinions about what we are doing in this world, want to be heard, and are patiently waiting for us to listen.

Sadly, it is NOT true. With scattered reports coming out of Standing Rock it is difficult to sort truth from fiction (or manipulated truth). The well-intentioned story of the “thousands” of buffalo who appeared as a stampede to support the protesters is one that I have spent the morning researching.

Nov 28 10:57

What the Dakota Access Pipeline Protesters Aren’t Telling You

Protesters claim that the pipeline was “fast-tracked,” denying tribal leaders the opportunity to participate in the process. In fact, project leaders participated in 559 meetings with community leaders, local officials, and organizations to listen to concerns and fine-tune the route. The company asked for, and received, a tougher federal permitting process at sites along the Missouri River. This more difficult procedure included a mandated review of each water crossing’s potential impact on historical artifacts and locations.

Protesters claim that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers failed to consult tribal leaders as required by federal law. The record shows that the corps held 389 meetings with 55 tribes. Corps officials met numerous times with leaders of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, which initiated the lawsuit and the protests.

Nov 28 10:51

Are Environmentalists Using Native Americans, and Does It Matter?

On the environmental side, the motives are actually mixed. On the surface, the objections to the pipelines have to do with safety and pollution. Really, though, much of the campaign is about climate change. One leading campaign supporting the anti-DAPL protests, for example, is called #keepitintheground (the “it” being fossil fuels in general) and one of its leading voices is climate activist Bill McKibben. (DiCaprio, too, has been outspoken on fighting climate change.)
Anti-DAPL activists say they don’t want the DAPL built here. But in reality, they don’t want it built anywhere. Their real goals are combating fossil fuel development, moving America toward renewables, and mitigating global climate change. (At present, oil, gas, and coal comprise 81 percent of American energy consumption. Renewables comprise 5 percent.)
And that’s why they love to hate pipelines.

Nov 28 10:46

The Dakota Access Pipeline Protest Which Isn’t Really About a Pipeline

The activists air-dropping into North Dakota from all over the country, and even the world, are not anti-pipeline so much as they’re anti-oil. That’s an important distinction. While it may be within the realm of the reasonable to protest a specific infrastructure project, I think most Americans would consider trying to choke the domestic oil industry to death by blocking infrastructure to be an extreme goal.

Don’t believe me? Consider the website for EarthJustice, an activist group which has filed a lawsuit against the pipeline on behalf of the Standing Rock tribe and is currently seeking an injunction to block legally the on-going construction protesters like Woodley are trying to block physically.

The group describes themselves as “opposing infrastructure development that could lock us into decades of dirty fuels.”

Nov 28 10:42

What The DAPL Protesters Aren’t Telling You…

Local tribes have turned into useful idiots for the global warming activists.
Via Grand Forks Herald:
With the help of celebrities and professional activists, protests of the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota attracted international attention. The shouting and violence have drawn sympathy from people who are hearing only one side of the story — the one told by activists.

Were the full story to be heard, much, if not all, of that sympathy would vanish.

Protesters claim that the pipeline was “fast-tracked,” denying tribal leaders the opportunity to participate in the process. In fact, project leaders participated in 559 meetings with community leaders, local officials and organizations to listen to concerns and fine-tune the route. The company asked for, and received, a tougher federal permitting process at sites along the Missouri River.

Turkey's Erdogan escalates war of words with European Union

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned the European Union Saturday that Turkey could extend by at least another three months a state of emergency that has been in place since the failed July coup. In a public address in Istanbul, Erdogan launched another attack on the EU just days after the European Parliament voted to back a freeze in accession talks with Ankara.

"Maybe the state of emergency will be extended by three months and then maybe another three months," Erdogan said. "This is a decision for the government and the parliament." He also threatened to restore capital punishment, a decision that would effectively end Ankara's longstanding bid. And he added that he would listen to Turkish citizens rather than people named "Hans" and "George," picking two common European first names.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now, the hard truth is that Turkey and Europe need each other, particularly because of the immigration deal Europe still so desperately needs to ease the flow of immigration to their respective countries.

Erdogan has shown his proclivities for dictatorship, post-failed coup, and that may work for a while, if the Turkish people actually think he and his government can keep them safe; however, if this proves to not be true, you may well see gigantic demonstrations against him, and a snap election - allowed under the Turkish Constitution - through which to replace him.

Protecting law and order is everyone’s business

If you have been following the Dakota Access pipeline protest and thinking “poor Morton County,” think again.

This fiasco is very much our problem here in Ward County. We pay state taxes too. And our law enforcement officers and National Guard members get sent to Cannon Ball to help keep the peace like residents of any other town in North Dakota. We are all helping to cover the expenses created by a bunch of out-of-state, professional hoodlums who hide behind masks and throw rocks at officers sworn to uphold the law. We are in no way removed from this tragedy that is escalating daily.

Here’s why “fake news” sites are dangerous

Many of these sites were launched and are spearheaded by ONE man or woman.

No person outside the mainstream is supposed to be so emboldened by his/her own point of view and passion.

“All points of view belong to a group.”

We’re not supposed to believe these “fake news” INDIVIDUALS created their news operations on their own. We’re not supposed to believe each individual had a vision of what the news is supposed to be and followed that vision forward with great energy.

An individual works for what he believes is true? He keeps his own counsel? He forges ahead, despite all opposition? He may even, when all is said and done, make a profit from his own labors? We’re supposed to oppose these “evils,” and by the grace of governments and their shadow operators, we will emerge from the darkness and find our salvation in a New Order of things.

THE US GOVERNMENT IS ALREADY QUIETLY BACKING OUT OF ITS PROMISE TO PHASE OUT PRIVATE PRISONS

Critics have long denounced private prisons in the US as unsafe, inefficient and at times, inhumane. Those critics, who include inmates and activists, seemed to find a powerful ally earlier this year when the Department of Justice announced it would phase out its use of private prisons for federal prisoners. This wouldn’t mean the end of privately-run incarceration facilities (they’re also used by immigration authorities and states), but it was seen as a step forward. Except, that when the first contracts came up for re-negotiation this fall, the federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) quietly decided to renew them anyway. That decision, along with the election of Donald Trump, mean that the US is unlikely to see the use of private prison operators diminish any time soon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The private prison system in this country is engineered to work magnificently for their shareholders, but terribly for inmates incarcerated in them.

Put very simply, they don't work; when an inmate finishes their sentence, they are very likely to be worse off in every conceivable way than when they went in, and the recidivism rate for these facilities is through the roof.

But, of course, the private prison industry has discovered the power of political contributions, and how they can make the industry "bullet-proof" to calls to shut them down, because of the lousy outcomes for their prisoners.

As reported at represent.us:

Private prison companies are exploiting our corrupt political system to lock people up… for profit. The two largest private prison companies alone have spent $35 million on lobbying and campaign contributions to state and local officials since 1989. Evidently, it was money well spent: The number of prisoners housed in private facilities has jumped 1600% since 1990. By buying favor with the right politicians, private prison companies have been able to secure everything from lucrative government contracts to harsher laws to guarantee a steady stream of inmates for their facilities. These companies turn our tax dollars into a lucrative business that hauls in $3 billion a year.

These numbers - and their implications - are just staggering.

Mike and I recently had the opportunity to watch Michael Moore's documentary, "Where to Invade Next?", and in this film is a segment on a Swedish prison. The prisoners are treated humanely, fed decently, and are truly rehabilitated before they leave. The ultimate outcome?!? People who can reintegrate with society, and the numbers document that only a tiny fraction of them re-offend.

The American penal system is horrifically broken, and until we can, as a nation, get this sorted, the system will not work, either for the prisoners, or ultimately, society at large, and we all pay a price for its disfunction.

DOCTOR AT STANDING ROCK: “PEOPLE HAD SHEETS OF ICE HANGING OFF THEM” AFTER POLICE TRIED TO MURDER DAPL PROTESTERS BY GIVING THEM HYPOTHERMIA

Dr. Robie Sterling finished his residency at Swedish Medical Center a few months ago. Not long after, he traveled to North Dakota with two other doctors from Swedish.

But he was alone in the medic tent when the radio call came in Sunday evening. There was a confrontation happening at the front line.

Sterling: “Police were starting to shoot the rubber bullets.”

Police also used water sprays and tear gas.

It was dark, below freezing, and injured people started to pour in.

Sterling: “The initial ones were nearly all head shots. Pretty much everyone had a concussion. Some of them had lacerations to the head. One woman had an eye injury.”

Sterling says the camp had just started to prepare for incidents like this, but they were far from ready.

Physicians and volunteers worked through the night as protesters and police clashed. Camp organizers estimate more than 200 were injured, and at least 17 hospitalized.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is a very good reason why the corporate presstitutes are not covering this on-going protest; their corporate and governmental masters have ordered them NOT to cover this, because this kind of brutal police behaviour, toward unarmed protesters, is about to become the "new normal" future of policing nation-wide, and they don't want you to see what is coming until it is far too late to do anything about it.

And please remember; the police motto now is not "to protect and serve" but "to maim and kill in behalf of corporate interests!!"
