US Defense Secretary Esper Says Trump Lied to Justify Killing Soleimani

Mark Esper, the former US Secretary of Defense (it’s a matter of time now) said that his chief Donald Trump lied to the US citizens about the justification to carry out the most heinous murder crimes against two top commanders who fought ISIS and saved US and European lives, including the soldiers from the USA and Europe.

It seems that the Rothschilds have been supporting Donald Trump for over 30 years

“In 1987 Donald Trump purchased his first casino interests when he acquired 93% of the shares in Resorts International. Resorts International has a sordid history which began in the early 1950’s when it evolved from a CIA and Mossad front company which had been established for the purpose of money laundering the profits from drug trafficking, gambling, and other illegal activities. On October 30, 1978, The Spotlight newspaper reported that the principle investors of Resorts International were Meyer Lansky, Tibor Rosenbaum, William Mellon Hitchcock, David Rockefeller, and one Baron Edmond de Rothschild.”

Why Donald Trump Is A Rothschild Puppet

In 1992, Donald Trump was recruited by the Rothschild family in order to further their globalist agenda in exchange for vast sums of cash.

Trump is widely portrayed as a white knight by the alternative media, who hope he will end the New World Order’s dominance over humanity and set us free.

However, compelling evidence suggests Trump is nothing more than a Trojan horse Crown Agent, loyal to the City of London banksters.

The Members of Congress Who Profit From War

It was shortly after midnight in Baghdad on Friday, Jan. 3, when a missile strike ordered by President Trump killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

When stock markets opened the next day, dozens of members of Congress saw bumps in their portfolios as their holdings in defense contractors like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon increased in value on the possibility of war. Over the next three trading days, the leading defense industry stock index would surge 2.4% above Thursday’s close.

The Trump administration is neck deep in deepstate globalist scum.

Iran warns against ‘destructive measures,’ promises firm response as EU trio starts ‘non-compliance’ investigation on nuclear deal

Trump violated the deal on orders from his boss in Israel Netanyahu, not Iran.

Iran is set to firmly respond to anyone damaging the 2015 nuclear deal but welcomes any “goodwill measure” slated to save it, the foreign ministry said after three European signatories claimed Tehran is in breach of the pact.

“It is necessary to explain that the action taken by the three European countries is a passive and weak position,” Abbas Mousavi, spokesman for the foreign ministry, warned in a statement.

He spoke shortly after Germany, France and the UK initiated a special dispute resolution procedure under the 2015 deal citing Iran’s alleged non-compliance with the pact.

Trump’s Killing of Soleimani: New “Worst Mistake in US History”

The strategic stupidity of Trump’s order to murder Soleimani cannot be exaggerated. This shocking, dastardly murder, committed while Soleimani was on an American-encouraged peace mission, has unleashed a “Pearl Harbor effect” that will galvanize not just the nation of Iran, but other forces in the region and around the world.

Trump and Congress Double Down on Demonizing Iran

Will the national security nightmare ever end?

If one seriously seeks to understand how delusional policymakers in Washington are it is only necessary to examine the responses by the president and Congress to the assassination of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani. The first response came in the form of a Donald Trump largely incoherent nine-minute self-applauding speech explaining what he had done and why. It was followed by a House of Representatives War Powers non-binding resolution that was all theater and did nothing to limit the president’s unilateral ability to go to war with the Islamic Republic.

It was reported that the Trump speech had been hurriedly written by aides the night before it was given and that it existed in several competing drafts. It was full of out-and-out lies and half truths and intended to reassure the American people that the president was keeping them safe.

Canada PM: US to blame for Ukraine plane accident in Iran

WE are on our way to becoming a Pariah Nation.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said today that victims of a Ukrainian flight that crashed in Iran would still be alive if the US hadn’t triggered tensions in the region.

In an interview with Global television, Trudeau suggested America’s assassination of Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani had brought about the tensions in the region, and the subsequent response from Tehran to target a US military base in Iraq. The Ukrainian flight was accidentally hit by a missile which was intended for the American base.

He said: “I think if there were no tensions, if there was no escalation recently in the region, those Canadians would be right now home with their families.”

Why Christians Should Not Pray for the Troops

‘When men hire themselves out to shoot other men to order, asking nothing about the justice of their cause, I don’t care if they are shot themselves.’” ~ Herbert Spencer (1820-1903)

I have already heard, and heard reports of, conservative Christians expressing the opinion that we should pray for the troops being deployed to the Middle East. We should pray for their safety, pray that they be kept out of harm’s way, pray that they avenge the attacks on the American embassy in Iraq, pray that they neutralize the threats to the United States, and pray that they get the terrorists before they get us.

A more shameful prayer has never been uttered.

U.S. soldiers are invaders, occupiers, destroyers, aggressors, and killers. As a conservative Christian, I cannot in good conscience pray for their safety or the success of their mission. And I fail to see how any Christian can.

Lying Generals and the Lies They Tell

Milley and company have done their subordinate soldiers, and the American people, a great disservice by repeatedly supporting Trump’s worst misdeeds, moral failings, and utter lack of coherent national security strategy. In a sense, of course, in their unwillingness to publicly dissent and/or resign, Milley and his boys are in good company. An entire generation of generals have been utterly derelict in their duty to the Constitution, to the nation, since at least September 12, 2001, by sheepishly going along with one unwinnable, falsely-justified war after another. Still, there’s something unique about Trump – his perfect storm of erratic temperament, ignorance, and laziness – and, by extension, about his top general Mark Milley.

NZ Meat industry pans climate-change teaching resource that recommends cutting meat, dairy

A recommendation that students eat less meat and dairy to take action on climate change has raised the ire of New Zealand's meat industry.

The new resource - Climate Change: Prepare Today, Live Well Tomorrow - is from the Ministry of Education and is aimed at Level 4 teachers teaching children aged 7-10 about climate.

Suggestions for taking action include talking more about global warming, reducing electricity use and driving and flying less.

But it's a short blurb that suggests reducing meat and dairy intake that has riled the meat industry's lobby group, Beef + Lamb NZ.

The two-paragraph snippet says red meat and dairy production result in significantly more greenhouse gas emissions than chicken, fruit, veges and cereals.

US Resurrecting ISIS in Iraq?

On August 31, 2010, Obama declared an end to Washington’s combat mission in Iraq, saying:

“Through this remarkable chapter in the history of the United States and Iraq, we have met our responsibility (sic).”

Ignored was Washington’s rape and destruction of the country. Pre-1990 Iraq no longer exists, its population victimized by decades of US aggression, genocidal sanctions, a plague of preventable diseases, ecocide, impoverishment, and deprivation.

US forces Obama withdrew from Iraq were returned in June 2014, invited by its US-installed puppet regime to combat ISIS jihadists deployed to the country by the Pentagon to provide a pretext for resumed US occupation — where things stand today.

Iran Jet Disaster Setup

The US did admit to hacking Iran's air defense system after the Iranian missile strike. The Iranians should have shut down air traffic for several days but didn't. Big mistake on their part.

What we contend therefore is this: the Americans exploited a brink-of-war scenario in which they anticipated Iranian air-defense systems to be on a hair-trigger. Add to this tension an assault by electronic warfare on Iranian military radars in which it would be technically feasible to distort a civilian airliner’s data as an offensive target. The Iranian military has claimed this was the nature of the shoot-down error. It seems plausible given the existing electronic warfare used by the Pentagon.

ISIS and Israel praise Trump’s assassination of Iranian top general Soleimani

Birds of a feather.......?

It’s particularly interesting to see ISIS, Israel, and the United States on the same side when it comes to Soleimani’s death. A weekly ISIS newspaper called al-Naba praised the assassination and called it “divine intervention” “an act of God” and stated that Soleimani’s death will assist their efforts to regroup in Iraq. It’s blatantly obvious that ISIS saw him as a deterrent while Washington painted him to be the “number one terrorist”. This further illustrates how Washington’s alleged “war on terror” is nothing more than an excuse to invade countries and control their natural resources all while bolding Israel.

Trump Backs Down; Iran Conflict Continues

Trump blinked. After threatening to bomb military and cultural sites in Iran, President Donald Trump has apparently backed down on further escalation in his quasi-war with Iran. He tried to spin his decision as a US victory, claiming his administration had supposedly made America safer by assassinating Iranian Major General Qassem Suleimani.
Despite a public statement that it does not seek further escalation, the Trump administration may yet see more retaliation, according to a high-level Iranian government source. So far, he tells me, Iran has focused on military targets, but he notes that Suleimani has "millions of followers all across the region from Yemen to Lebanon who will be seeking revenge from the United States. Iran cannot control them."

"Trump’s assets all around the world will be considered as legitimate," says the source, who didn’t want his name used for security reasons.

Drug War-Addicted Cops Raid Hemp Farm, Bulldoze Struggling Farmer’s Million Dollar Crop

Because government is the antithesis to freedom, industrial hemp has been banned nationwide since 1937 ostensibly due to the plant’s similarities to marijuana. Many have speculated that this move was also due to the fact that cannabis is in direct competition with the pharmaceutical industry by providing far safer alternative treatments as well as directly competing with the petrochemical industry. However, all this changed in December 2018 after President Donald Trump signed the Agriculture Improvement act of 2018, legalizing industrial hemp on a national scale.

‘Confused’ Trump mocked after claiming he should have won Nobel Peace Prize for 'saving’ Ethiopia

Let us see. Trump is tweeting about a non-existent snowfall in DC and now he saved Ethiopia. On top of assassinating a guy he lured into the trap with talks of peace. The Donald is losing it.

Donald Trump appears to have confused a historic peace accord with another dispute while claiming he saved Ethiopia from war and should have won the Nobel Peace Prize.

“I made a deal, I saved a country, and I just heard that the head of that country is now getting the Nobel Peace Prize for saving the country,” Mr Trump told supporters at a rally in Ohio on Thursday night.

Ethiopia’s prime minister Abiy Ahmed was awarded the accolade in October 2019, in part for his efforts in brokering a peace deal with neighbouring Eritrea after two decades of violent conflict.

Report Reveals Why US Troops Suffered No Casualties During Iran Strike on American Bases in Iraq

The US was warned by Iran through the Iraqi government and by the Swiss envoy, who does our business in Tehran. Over 2 hours before the strike.

Troops stationed at an Iraqi air base knew beforehand that the facility will be attacked by Iran, which helped them to safely take shelter, unnamed sources were cited by CNN as saying on Sunday.

Sources asserted that most US forces were either withdrawn from the base or sheltered in bunkers for two-and-a-half-hours before Iran launched missiles on Wednesday.

At the same time, the sources claimed that although the US troops were in the know about the attack, they didn't know what the nature of the attack would be.

Who exactly is the enemy here? The road to ruin is paved with lies

If someone invites a person to a peace conference, and then murders him on his way to attend that event, would you say that this killer is the kind of person you’d like to hang out with (thinking he’s just like your favorite Hollywood superhero — handsome, powerful and dishonorable)?

Proudly boasting of that power U.S. President Donald Trump took it upon himself to murder an Iranian folk hero whom he had lured to a secret peace negotiation in Baghdad.

Trump’s power gave him the right to murder an honorable soldier in a disgustingly dishonorable way, a soldier who had fought bravely for both his country and his neighbors against the universal menace of the worldwide Jewish money machine? Who exactly is the enemy here?

When did it become acceptable to kill a top leader of a country we aren’t even at war with?

Jim Webb, a Democrat from Virginia, served in the U.S. Senate from 2007 to 2013 and was secretary of the Navy under President Ronald Reagan from 1987 to 1988.

Strongly held views are unlikely to change regarding the morality and tactical wisdom of President Trump’s decision to kill Iranian Maj. Gen. Why a Shadowy Tech Firm With Ties to Israeli Intelligence Is Running Doomsday Election Simulations

Election Day 2020: 32 Americans dead, over 200 injured, martial law declared and the election itself is canceled. While this horrific scenario seems more like the plot of a Hollywood film, such was the end result of a recent simulation examining the preparedness of U.S. officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the U.S. Secret Service against “bad actors” seeking to undermine the upcoming presidential election.

Yet, this simulation was not a government-organized exercise but was instead orchestrated by a private company with deep ties to foreign and domestic intelligence services, a company that is also funded by investors with clear connections to individuals who would stand to benefit if such a catastrophic election outcome were to become reality.

Modern Israel: The Common Denominator Behind All False Gospels

Like the Jews in ancient times, modern charismatic’s are sign seekers. They need miraculous proof of God’s existence and presence in the world and in their lives as a catalyst for their faith. The Jews demanded signs out of Moses, out of the prophets, as well as Jesus Himself. This is a false gospel that places the emphasis on the signs and supposed spiritual gifts as evidence of salvation rather than on the power of Jesus Himself, and the Cross of Christ. This is why so many charismatics are obsessed with signs and wonders, prophecy and modern Israel. Their faith is in the power of supposed signs, rather than the Cross.

Federal Court Rules Cops Can Taser, Choke You Because Trouble Understanding Them is ‘Resistance’

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — (TRI) An Oklahoma federal court has refused to hold police responsible for brutalizing an African-American man who, despite complying with police orders during an arrest, was subjected to excessive force and brutality, including being thrown to the ground, tasered, and placed in a chokehold that rendered him unconscious and required his hospitalization for three days.

In granting the police officers’ motion to dismiss a Fourth Amendment lawsuit filed by attorneys for The Rutherford Institute on behalf of Jeriel Edwards, the court ruled that Edwards’ confusion and trouble understanding police directions constituted “resistance” that justified the force used by the four police officers involved in the violent arrest.

While Banning Pro-Peace Accounts, Twitter Openly Allows Pedophiles to Discuss Raping Children

Previously, TFTP reported how a disturbing push was made to attempt to normalize pedophilia as a mainstream “sexual orientation.” The move involved pedophiles rebranding themselves as “Minor Attracted Persons” (MAP) with the hope that they will be accepted like the LGBTQ community. Disgustingly enough, it was somewhat effective as multiple outlets reported it like it was totally acceptable to be sexually attracted to children. While this incident was extremely disturbing, even more worrisome is that this normalization appears to be spreading and as some recent activity on Twitter illustrates, it’s condoned by social media giants.

Coincidence? Trump Admin Had Five Pentagon Officials Resign Prior To Assassination Of Iran General

By Aaron Kesel

There are many who accuse U.S. President Donald Trump of “wagging the dog” when it comes to the recent bombing that killed Al Quds commander Qassem Soleimani due to the fact he is facing impeachment. While many media outlets have stated this accusation suggesting the assassination of Iran’s Soleimani was pre-planned, to this writer’s knowledge no one has pointed out that five total Pentagon officials resigned prior to the murder or Eric Trump’s strange tweet about “opening a can of whoop ass,” right before the New Year.

The Iran Tinderbox: America Dicing With Death

Days after the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani, new and important information is coming to light from a speech given by the Iraqi prime minister. The story behind Soleimani’s assassination seems to go much deeper than what has thus far been reported.

The Iraqi prime minister, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, has revealed details of his interactions with Trump in the weeks leading up to Soleimani’s assassination.

He tried to explain several times on live television how Washington had been browbeating him and other Iraqi members of parliament to toe the American line, even threatening to engage in false-flag sniper shootings of both protesters and security personnel in order to inflame the situation.

The purpose? To throw Iraq into chaos.

CANADIAN POLICE HANDCUFF INDIGENOUS GRANDFATHER AND 12-YEAR-OLD FOR TRYING TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT

SOURCE: CBC.CA
Maxwell Johnson thought his appointment at the Bank of Montreal would be routine.

He's been a customer since 2014 and wanted to open an account for his 12-year-old granddaughter so he could transfer funds to her electronically when she was on the road for basketball games.

But at the Dec. 20 meeting at BMO's Burrard Street location in downtown Vancouver, an employee questioned the identification he and his granddaughter presented.

"She said the numbers didn't match up what she had on her computer," Johnson said from his home in Bella Bella, a Heiltsuk community located on B.C's Central Coast.

Johnson, 56, and his granddaughter were using government-issued Indian Status cards, his birth certificate and her medical card. He said the employee became suspicious and went upstairs with their cards.

TRUMP THREATENED TO CUT OFF BAGHDAD'S ACCESS TO ITS NY FED CASH

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE
After rejecting Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's request to begin talks on the withdrawal of American troops, there are now more signs of the eroding ties between the two countries.

The Wall Street Journal reports that according to Iraqi officials (yes, Iraq has anonymous sources too), the Trump administration warned Iraq this week that it risks losing access to a critical government bank account if Baghdad kicks out American forces.

We are sure, to Schiff et al., that sounds a lot like 'quid pro quo', but how will they balance the need to hammer the president with their neocon/establishment desire to keep boots on the ground, whatever it takes?

The warning regarding the Iraqi central bank account was conveyed to Iraq’s prime minister in a call on Wednesday, according to an official in his office, that also touched on the overall military, political and financial partnership between the two countries.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This miserable military adventurism is about to go "mammary glands vertical" for the US in Iraq, for several reasons:

1. Iraq, China launch 'oil for reconstruction' agreement

2. President Trump has threatened Iraq with never leaving until Iraq pays for its air base there, Trump Says US Will Not Leave Iraq Until Baghdad Pays for American Air Base, Threatens Sanctions

3. Trump threatens Iraq sanctions as Iran ends nuclear commitments

4. And, last, but certainly not least, the following statement on the Soulemani assassination, by the Iranian cleric in Iraq, Muktada Al-Sadr:
The leader of the Sadr movement, Muqtada al-Sadr reacted to the martyrdom of Commander of IRGC Quds Brigade, General Ghasem Soleimani, saying that his militias are ready to defend Iraq.

Now, Iraq's Prime Minister may be attempting to back down, slightly, from his original positions that the US has to leave, and soon:

Despite U.S.-Iraq Feud, Iraqi Prime Minister Privately Mulls Delay of U.S. Troop Departure

The article goes on to state: "But privately, Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi has been trying to slow-roll the American departure, Iraqi advisors say, fearful not just of Trump’s threatened sanctions, but of the departure of Western investment along with the foreign troops, and a resurgence of the so-called Islamic State without U.S. assets to hunt it.

Mahdi, too, is trying to slow down the car crash, privately weighing options that would see only some U.S. troops withdraw, or extend the drawdown over a long period of time, says an Iraqi official who advises the prime minister. “The Parliament wants to eject coalition troops fighting against (ISIS)…but not specialized people who came to help the Iraqi security apparatus by training them,” the advisor told TIME Monday."

Please note, however, that the last statements are completely unsourced, so this TIMES article may have been pure codswallop, verbally engineered for US consumption, so that most TIMES-reading people would would not think, for a second, that the US has lost the Iraq war to China; and China did not have to fire one shot to have this happen.

BODY CAM RELEASED OF COP KILLING 14YO BOY FOR RUNNING AWAY WITH ORANGE-TIPPED TOY GUN

SOURCE: MATT AGORIST
(Support Free Thought) -

Phoenix, AZ — Police in Arizona have just released the full dramatic body camera footage from when an officer shot and killed a 14-year-old boy who had attempted to escape on foot while holding a toy gun with a visibly orange tip. For the first time, we are now seeing the full situation of what happened when Officer Joseph Jaen opened fire on Antonio Arce, killing him.

This week, the Tempe Police Department released the video among a slew of other documents, 911 calls and personnel files on officer Jaen. The files and the video were released only after the family and the media made numerous requests. Still, the department waited almost a full year after Arce’s death to release it.

The files reveal a history of excessive force dating back to 2013. In total, this officer, who shot and killed a child holding a toy gun with an orange tip, had 19 separate incidents — not including the investigation for killing Arce — in his record.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why is it, that this keeps happening with America's youth, and most specifically, to minority kids?!?

And why, after 19 separate incidents of excessive force, did this officer at least not get a psych evaluation, and/or moved to desk job?!?

I have absolutely no idea of how traumatic for any parent, family member, or friend, to have their kids playing outside, never to come home again.

PROTESTERS DEMAND SUPREME LEADER AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI STEP DOWN, AFTER THE COUNTRY’S MILITARY ADMITTED TO "ACCIDENTALLY" DOWNING A UKRAINIAN PASSENGER JET: SMELLS LIKE WESTERN STATECRAFT IS FULLY IN PLAY HERE:

A group of Iranian protesters demanded Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei step down on Saturday after Tehran said that its military had mistakenly shot down a Ukrainian plane, killing all 176 people on board.

"Commander-in-chief [Khamenei] resign, resign," videos posted on Twitter showed hundreds of people chanting in front of Tehran's Amir Kabir university.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder if the US, or israel, possibly has a mole in Iranian chain of command, who gave the go/no go order to shoot down a passenger jet.

The Iranian people are many things, but one of them... is not stupid.

So they do not like it, when the leadership of their government appears to be acting in a stupidly cavalier manner, killing a bunch of innocent civilians.

Prayers for all of the victims' families, and friends, for this horrific loss.

WHITE HOUSE CONSIDERING DRAMATIC EXPANSION OF TRAVEL BAN

The White House is considering dramatically expanding its much-litigated travel ban to additional countries amid a renewed election-year focus on immigration by President Donald Trump, according to six people familiar with the deliberations.

’s unclear exactly how many countries would be included in the expansion if it proceeds, but two of the people said that seven countries — a majority of them Muslim — would be added to the list. The most recent iteration of the ban includes restrictions on five majority-Muslim nations: Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen, as well as Venezuela and North Korea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What do these countries, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen, as well as Venezuela and North Korea. have a a common denominator?!?

Short answer; they are all countries in which the US government has botched regime change horrifically, or would like to regime change; if no American goes to these countries, the US government believes that they will a firmer grip on the narrative; this is wishful thinking on their part, but I would sense that this is the driving force behind the additions to the US travel ban.

Twenty-six Things About the Islamic State (ISIS-ISIL-Daesh) that Obama and Trump Do Not Want You to Know About

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the most wanted terrorist and alleged leader of the Islamic State (ISIS-ISIL-Daesh) is dead, according to POTUS.

President Trump confirmed in October that US forces had been searching for him, that he was under surveillance. “Capturing or killing him has been the top national security priority of my administration.”

Addressing the Nation from the White House in late October 2019, “Trump said al-Baghdadi killed himself and three of his children, detonating a suicide vest as U.S. forces closed in after a “dangerous and daring” U.S.-led air raid in northwestern Syria.

Did Pompeo Dupe Trump Into the Soleimani Hit??

Donald Trump is under the illusion that the fracas with Iran is over. He thinks that Iran’s pinprick missile strikes on US bases in Iraq have assuaged Tehran’s thirst for revenge. But he’s wrong. The missile strikes were merely the first salvo in an epic cage match between Iran’s Axis of Resistance and its 70 year-long nemesis, the United States. As Iran’s Supreme Leader said on Wednesday, the missile attacks were not sufficient payback for the assassination of Iran’s most decorated military hero, Qassem Soleimani. They were just “a slap”, just Round One in what will surely be a long and bloody campaign aimed at driving the US out of the Middle East.

It’s Our Own Leader, Donald Trump, Who Is ‘Blood-Thirsty’ and ‘Blood-Soaked’

Really? Baddest of the bad? Most blood-soaked? How about General Stanley McChrystal, the guy who organized and paid off death squads in Iraq, and who, as head of the secretive Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) oversaw notoriously criminal and brutal interrogations in that country and later Afghanistan, and then moved his death squad proclivities to that latter country when he took over command of the Afghanistan War? How about Marine General “Mad Dog” Mattis, who earned his monicker for saying, “You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn’t wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them.

The reality we must face: Our Country, the United States, is a Rogue Nation and Our Leaders are Criminals

For as long as I’ve been alive, my country has been a rogue state.

Actually, the US became a rogue state four years before my birth in 1949 when, in 1945, Washington decided to bomb two militarily insignificant cities in Japan with its new super weapon, the atomic bomb, instantly incinerating several hundred thousand Japanese civilians, including many, many children, and condemning at least that many more to slow agonizing deaths from resulting cancers and birth defects.

Trump strike on Soleimani came amid pressure from impeachment allies in Senate: reports

President Trump said his order to launch the drone strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani came amid pressure from Senate Republicans he views as key allies in his upcoming impeachment trial, The Wall Street Journal reported and The New York Times reported this week.

The articles did not name the GOP senators, but many of Trump's allies in the Senate, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), have praised his decision to take out the Quds Force commander in Baghdad

Mike Pompeo Admits U.S. Did Not Know Where and When Soleimani Attacks Would Happen, Despite Previously Warning of 'Imminent Threat'

Mike Pompeo admitted U.S. officials didn't know when or where attacks allegedly planned by Iranian General Qassem Soleimani would take place, despite previous claiming that the latter posed an "imminent" threat to American personnel.

The secretary of state said officials did not know "precisely" when or where the alleged plots would occur, but insisted the threat "was real" in a Fox News interview on Thursday night.

Trump is using an Israeli excuse to commit murder.

In one of the series of blatant lies the USA has told to justify the assassination of Soleimani, Mike Pompeo said that Soleimani was killed because he was planning “Imminent attacks” on US citizens. US Refuses to Discuss Withdrawing Troops From Iraq

US officials have said they have no intention of leaving Iraq, but they’re skirting the legal reality of the situation by saying they’ve yet to get a formal request from Iraq to leave. How long they can maintain that pretense by simply telling Iraq not to talk about it remains to be seen.

Iraq is already looking for holes in this fairly transparent attempt to avoid discussion, with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi asking Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to devise some sort of mechanism whereby Iraq could actually request the US to leave.

The Two Faces of Warmongers

Those Americans who speak out against the insanity of the district of criminals are the next people who will be targeted by the US Military for death!

The American people are now facing a new political challenge brought on by the recent U.S. assassinations of Iranian and Iraqi military figures.

The fact is that both parties are in agreement that in order to maintain their superpower status, a major war against the “Foreign Enemy” is necessary, but more importantly, they are more fearful of the “Domestic Enemy” – that is a majority of the population who are dissatisfied and who are the real producers of goods and wealth with the power to govern and create a peaceful and prosperous society!

A government that justifies the terrorist act of ASSASSINATION, soon will apply the same unlawful methods to deal with the internal dissents and “trouble makers”.

American Leadership Is Discredited — Will a New Leader Step Forward?

This morning (January 7) Pompeo, the embarrassment we suffer as our Secretary of State, was on TV promising to “confront and contain” Iran. A political general was featured declaring that he had seen the intelligence reports and was certain that the murder of Soleimani had stopped an attack. If the general saw any such “intelligence” it was fixed intelligence to produce the desired result. Regardless, Soleimani’s murder was a crime and an act of war. The previous day Pompeo suggested that Trump might have to kill some more Iranian leaders, because Obama had emboldened Iran by appeasing them. This is just another of Pompeo’s false accusations. Obama accepted the agreement that Iran would not enrich uranium to the extent required by weapons. Inspectors have verified that Iran has kept the agreement.

It was Trump, pushed by Israel’s agents, the neoconservatives, who broke the agreement and restarted the conflict with Iran by issuing threat after threat.

How the U.S. Made Dropping Radioactive Bombs Routine

The US military is the biggest collection of war criminals in the history of Planet Earth.

This article first appeared in The Washington Spectator.

When the United States revealed in January that it is testing a more nimble, more precise version of its B61 atom bomb, some were immediately alarmed.

General James Cartwright, a former strategist for President Barack Obama, warned that "going smaller" could make nuclear weapons "more thinkable" and "more usable."

However, what is little known is that for the past 25 years the United States and its allies have routinely used radioactive weapons in battle, in the form of warheads and explosives made with depleted, undepleted or slightly enriched uranium.

Pompeo’s Gulf Of Tonkin Incident

The Soleimani ploy has apparently failed, however, thanks to the carefully prepared Iranian response, which did not provoke Donald Trump to raise the stakes further. At least not yet.

The fingerprints of Pompeo are all over this provocation to war. In a striking parallel to the deception that accompanied the Gulf of Tonkin crisis in 1964—in which the American public was told about an attack on a U.S. ship that never happened, precipitating the Vietnam War—Pompeo and his allies carried out a complex deception in regard to the Soleimani hit. They claimed they had to kill the second most popular leader of Iran with no advance notice to Congress because the Iranian general was planning a massive attack that put the country in “imminent” danger. Trump officials have so far not provided any evidence publicly to back up this version of events.

Iraqi PM: Trump Asked Me to Mediate With Iran Then Assassinated My Guest

In the address, Abdul-Mahdi revealed that that Soleimani had traveled to Baghdad to deliver a message back from Iran to Saudi Arabia about a proposal to lower tensions in the region, that Soleimani was to meet with the Prime Minister the very morning he was assassinated, and — most crucially — that days prior Trump had asked the Iraqi Prime Minister to “play the mediator’s role” between the U.S. and Iran.

Oddly, this information is not yet a major headline in any mainstream publication and those that have mentioned it in passing do not explain its full implications.

Israel seeks to avert Soleimani blowback

On January 3, the United States assassinated Qassem Soleimani, an Iranian major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard and the de facto commander of Iranian efforts of expansion throughout the Middle East.

American drones targeted his convoy near Baghdad International Airport killing him instantly. Iran responded with a pre-dawn missile attack on an American base in Iraq Wednesday, and tensions appear to have eased since.

“He was a monster. He is no longer a monster. He’s dead,” President Donald Trump declared in the aftermath of the killing.

Pompeo allegedly convinced Trump to assassinate Soleimani

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been revealed to be the puppet master behind POTUS Trump’s motion to liquidate a top Iranian commander, CNN reported citing sources inside and around the White House, with the revelation indicating Pompeo’s influential status in the Trump administration.

According to several sources, taking Iranian General Qasem Soleimani – the leader of the elite Quds Force, a powerful military group with vast leverage in the region – “off the battlefield” has been Pompeo’s goal for a decade.

How Congress Can Stop Trump’s Iran War

Trump has now committed real impeachable offenses.

The United States’ targeted airstrike against Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in Iraq has placed the U.S. on the precipice of an undeclared war with Iran, a hostile and militarily sophisticated foreign government, all without the consent of Congress.

Trump’s decision to strike without notifying congressional leaders is without precedent in history. There’s also no precedent for an American president openly ordering the killing of a senior state official of a country on which the U.S. has not officially declared war.

Report: US Drone Strike Kills 60 Afghan Civilians, Taliban Commander

An unconfirmed number of Afghan civilians – reportedly more than 60 – were killed along with the regional leader of a splinter Taliban faction and dozens of militants in a US drone attack in Herat province on Wednesday.

Local government officials and members of the Herat provincial council told Tolo News, Afghanistan’s leading 24/7 television news channel, that "at least 60 civilians, including women and children" died in US drone strikes in Shindand, a town in southern Herat. The outlet reported that four armed drones attacked several homes, targeting Mullah Mohammad Nangyalai, the regional leader of an insurgent faction of the Taliban led by Mullah Mohammad Rasoul. Some 30-35 Taliban fighters were also reportedly killed in the attack.

Another Stupid War

When asked by a reporter for details about what kinds of imminent attacks Soleimani was planning, the State Dept. responds with:

"Jesus, do we have to explain why we do these things?"

Totally normal.

Naturally, we learned soon after from the Iraqi PM himself that Soleimani was in Iraq as part of a diplomatic effort to de-escalate tensions. In other words, he was apparently lured to Baghdad under false pretenses so he’d be a sitting duck for a U.S. strike. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Trump is now the Head Swamp Monster. What this war criminal did is an impeachable offence and a war crime. This moron has put a target on the back of every US Government official.

Once upon a time there was a Constitution of the United States. In Article II, Section 2 it stipulated that only the U.S. Congress has the power to declare war, which means the American president has to go to the legislative body and make a case for going to war against an enemy or enemies. If there is a vote in favor of war, the president is empowered as commander-in-chief to direct the available resources against the enemy.

Top IRGC General: Strikes on US Forces in Iraq Just Beginning of Full-Scale Op Across Region

Iran launched a missile strike on US positions in Iraq in retaliation for the assassination of its IRGC General Qasem Soleimani. According to US statements, this attack didn't result in any casualties and only caused minor damage to American bases.

Head of the Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh has stated that the 8 January missile attack on American bases in neighbouring Iraq was only the start of a series of attacks that will take place across the entire region, Tasnim News Agency reported. The general further shared that the country had hundreds of missiles ready for launch, when it carried out strikes and added that Tehran conducted cyberattacks on the same day against American plane and drone navigation systems.

Soleimani assassination only one of many (and not the most consequential) US acts of war against Iran

January 5, 2020

By Stephen Gowans

While the assassination of an Iranian general by a US drone attack in Iraq has been construed in some quarters as a consequential act of war, it is only one, in a long series of US actions, that constitute de facto acts of war by the United States against Iran that have caused considerable harm to the country.

Ever since Iranians overthrew the US puppet ruler, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, in 1979, Washington has pursued an unceasing campaign of aggression against the sovereign state with the aim of returning Iran to its orbit. Since 2018, US aggression has intensified.

IN AN ERA OF BIG TECH CENSORSHIP, BIG PHARMA INTOXICATION, AND BIG GOVERNMENT SURVEILLANCE, SOLEIMANI’S DEATH IS A “WIN” FOR NO ONE

Mike Adams
January 8th, 2020
Natural News

Soleimani may be dead, but censorship is alive and well in America, and no one in any position of power is fighting against it.

The Pentagon said Soleimani had to be taken out because he was planning “imminent” combat operations against United States persons. Yet Big Tech has already completed its online combat operations against tens of millions of Americans, having successfully banned, demonetized, smeared, slandered and de-platformed nearly every voice that supports the very freedoms America is supposedly fighting for in the Middle East. This abundantly demonstrates the absurdity of any claim that blowing up people in Iraq or Iran somehow makes us “more free” in America. The claim that the Pentagon is “fighting for freedom” is total propaganda.

Iran-Backed Militia Fires Three Rockets At US Embassy In Baghdad

Summary:

3 Katyusha rockets land in Baghdad's Green Zone which houses government buildings, foreign missions and the US embassy.
The target was US embassy
Sirens go off at embassy
One rocket fell between embassy and a Govt building (Mayadeen)
It was supposed to be a day of de-escalation, so when Reuters, Sky News Arabia, Fox News and other sources reported that "several" Katuysha rockets were fired by the IRGC-backed Kataib Hezbollah and hit the Green Zone in Baghdad and explosions have been heard...

Webmaster's Commentary:

And we know that these militias in Iraq are Iranian backed, because.... the US government, that same US government which 19 years ago, lied this country into a war of aggression against Iraq, told us so?!?

NOT SO FAST, TRUMP ADMINISTRATION!!

I would like some irrefutable proof, please, before I jump on this particular band-wagon, which of course, the Trump Administration is pathologically incapable of providing, right?!?!?

It could just have easily been Mossad, desperately trying to get a further escalation going.

Major U.S. Military Contractors Stand to Reap Huge Windfalls from Escalation of Conflict with IranMeet the CEOs Raking It in from Trump’s Aggression toward Iran

I took a look at how the CEOs at the top five Pentagon contractors were affected by this surge, using the most recent SEC information on their stock holdings.

Northrop Grumman executives saw the biggest increase in the value of their stocks after the U.S. airstrike that killed Qasem Suleimani on January 2. Shares in the B-2 bomber maker rose 5.43 percent by the end of trading the following day.

Wesley Bush, who turned Northrop Grumman’s reins over to Kathy Warden last year, held 251,947 shares of company stock in various trusts as of his final SEC Form 4 filing in May 2019. (Companies must submit these reports when top executives and directors buy and sell company stock.) Assuming Bush is still sitting on that stockpile, he saw the value grow by $4.9 million to a total of $94.5 million last Friday.

New Northrop Grumman CEO Warden saw the 92,894 shares she’d accumulated as the firm’s COO expand in value by more than $2.7 million in just one day of post-assassination trading.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Karl Marx was absolutely not smoking opium, when he observed that all wars are economic in their origin.

Can you imagine how much these Merchants of Death will make, if Iran (and Russia) get into a shooting war with US military?!?

The short version is, a bundle!!

Jan 09 12:50

No Shame, No Honor, No Heart

The rationale for Soleimani’s death is based on accusations as the world’s number one terrorist and being responsible for hundreds of American deaths in pursuit of Iranian aggression. Any claim of aggression by middle eastern countries glosses over the fact that they are defending their homelands in opposition to US military invasions. It is the US who are the aggressors by invading a country 6,000 miles away to steal their natural resources and to fight on behalf of creating Israeli hegemony throughout the Middle East.

Does any Middle East country have the right of self defense when a foreign army invades their sovereign soil and what does it say when the world’s leading purveyors of war, death and destruction point the finger to those fighting to defend their homeland? The truth is that every country where the US has initiated conflict is no military threat to the US – until they are invaded as they respond to protect their home turf.

The Deeper Story Behind the Assassination of Soleimani. Washington Threats to Engage in False flag Sniper Shootings. Iraq Prime Minister

Here is the reconstruction of the story:

[Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq] Halbousi attended the parliamentary session while almost none of the Sunni members did. This was because the Americans had learned that Abdul-Mehdi was planning to reveal sensitive secrets in the session and sent Halbousi to prevent this. Halbousi cut Abdul-Mehdi off at the commencement of his speech and then asked for the live airing of the session to be stopped. After this, Halbousi together with other members, sat next to Abdul-Mehdi, speaking openly with him but without it being recorded. This is what was discussed in that session that was not broadcast:

Abdul-Mehdi spoke angrily about how the Americans had ruined the country and now refused to complete infrastructure and electricity grid projects unless they were promised 50% of oil revenues, which Abdul-Mehdi refused.

The complete (translated) words of Abdul-Mahdi’s speech to parliament:

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF what Prime Minister Abdul-Mehdi is saying is true (and I believe it to be), then what the President had done, was an insane, and unhinged, retaliation because of a business deal between China and Iraq to develop its oil, preventing a US-centric company from doing this.

Folks, this is more than a little scary to me, and it should be to you as well.

Jan 09 12:36

The State of the Iranian Crisis. Will Trump “Escalate” or “De-escalate”?

Possibly Trump will apply “crippling sanctions” as a cover for withdrawal from most of the Middle East. Iran wants the US out, and Trump’s original intention was to withdraw before Russiagate forced him to stay. Thus, both Trump and Iran have a common interest in US withdrawal. Although the Iranian missiles killed no one, they did demonstrate to Israel that the Iranian missiles have pin point accuracy. As Israel is a small land area, the accuracy of Iranian missiles possibly has changed Israel’s mind about provoking a war. If Israel also stands down, perhaps the crisis is over.

US Regional Presence Makes Middle East Peace and Stability Unattainable
On the other hand, the neoconservatives will be unhappy. They see chaos in Iran as a way of spreading instability into the Russian Federation. The military/security complex will be unhappy as US withdrawal would downsize their profits. US oil interests will be unhappy to lose the Iraqi oil.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here's hoping (and in my case, praying) that Paul Craig Roberts is entirely correct in his assessment; but there is one wild-card still waiting to play its hand; and that wild card will be Israel.

I really have to wonder if Netanyahu didn't put President Trump up to this , and now, to attempt to take pressure off from his corruption accusations, since he won the Israeli Prime Minister spot handily in the last election.

Israeli intelligence makes it their business, to know the most they can about every political and wealthy figure, all over the globe; one has to wonder just what he, and/or Mossad, may have on the President which caused him to act so very irrationally a to assassinate Souleimani?

I don't think is over, by a long shot; but the US and/or Israel are going to have to work fast to get an escalation going before Congress restrains the President's war powers.

The Deeper Story Behind the Assassination of Soleimani

The story behind Soleimani’s assassination seems to go much deeper than what has thus far been reported, involving Saudi Arabia and China as well the US dollar’s role as the global reserve currency.

Exclusive: U.N. investigators find Yemen's Houthis did not carry out Saudi oil attack

Yemen's Houthi group did not launch an attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities in September, according to a confidential report by U.N. sanctions monitors seen by Reuters on Wednesday, bolstering a U.S. accusation that Iran was responsible.

The United States, European powers and Saudi Arabia blamed Iran for the Sept. 14 attack on the Saudi Aramco <2222.SE> oil plants in Abqaiq and Khurais, dismissing a quick claim of responsibility by the Iran-allied Houthis. Tehran denied any involvement.

The report by the independent U.N. experts to the Security Council Yemen sanctions committee said, "That despite their claims to the contrary, the Houthi forces did not launch the attacks on Abqaiq and Khurais on 14 September 2019."

The findings of the U.N. report come amid escalating tensions in the region after the United States killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad and Tehran retaliated by firing missiles at military facilities housing U.S. troops in Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One definitely has to wonder about the "quid pro quo" from the UN, and the timing of this report.

And trust me, timing of reports like this... is never usually accidental; it is released when it gets released to forward the US government's agenda, period, end of discussion.

Trump Versus Iran: Power Doesn’t Just Corrupt, It Deludes

What was unremarkable – and unfortunate – in the speech was the obvious assumption underlying it: That the United States enjoys, and SHOULD enjoy, absolute power in international relations.

Trump is hardly unique in publicly stating, or in operating on, that assumption. The claim of such absolute power has been the tacit US doctrine of foreign relations since at least as far back as the end of World War Two.

America emerged from that war as the world’s sole nuclear power and, unlike other combatant countries, with its wealth virtually unscathed and its industrial capacity increased rather than demolished. Its rulers saw themselves as able, and entitled, to dictate terms to almost everyone, on almost everything.

“Power tends to corrupt,” wrote Lord Acton, “and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

And that ... is the problem with all contemporary US foreign policy; it is based on that illusion that this country is the best and brightest, and most powerful, and therefore deserves to be treated royally, by every foreign dignitary who comes to our shores, or with whom we are negotiating.

Take a look at the massive, urban homeless problem; at those people who had decent jobs, which were offshored or outsourced, who are now having to do a huge number of minimum wage jobs just to survive; and take a look at the education of our kids; if this is not, between a curriculum guaranteed to dumb our kids down, never mind the psychotropic drugs with which these kids can be drugged, sometimes without parental decision, a deliberate decision to prevent the kind of critical thinking so necessary for this country to survive, I do not know what is.

And our weaponry?!? Because of how the military industrial complex works, we are way behind Russia and China in the development of weapons, and that... is another problem as well.

I would very much like to see this country behaving in an adult, civilized and diplomatic manner, using hard-won, moral negotiations as their primary tactics in achieving the goals it wants; unfortunately, all the US government has seems to be able to do, to get what they want, is to
destabilize; regime change, if necessary; have American-vetted corporations expropriate that countrys' natural resources, to which they have no moral right; and insure that these resources are only sold... in the American dollar.

The Donald’s Assassination of General Soleimani – As Stupid as It Gets

During more than a half-century of Washington watching we have seen stupidity rise from one height to yet another. But nothing – just plain nothing – compares to the the blithering stupidity of the Donald’s Iran “policy”, culminating in the mindless assassination of its top military leader and hero of the so-called Islamic Revolution, Major General Qassem Soleimani.

To be sure, we don’t give a flying f*ck about the dead man himself. Like most generals of whatever army (including the US army), he was a cold-blooded, professional killer.

And in this day and age of urban and irregular warfare and drone-based annihilation delivered by remote joystick, generals tend to kill more civilians than combatants. The dead civilian victims in their millions of U.S. generals reaching back to the 1960s surely attest to that.

GOP Sen. Mike Lee: Trump Officials Told Senators Not to Debate War Authorization

After the Trump Administration’s 75-minute briefing to the US Senate on the assassination of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) was deeply critical, calling it the worst briefing he’d gotten in his nine years in the Senate.

Saying the administration’s briefers offered little on the legal or practical justification for the attack, Sen. Lee particularly took umbrage at them warning the Senators that they must not debate the War Powers authorization for a war with Iran.

Those giving the briefing objected to the very idea of the Senate discussing the matter publicly, saying it would “embolden Iran.” Sen. Lee noted that this is a power Constitutionally reserved explicitly for the legislature.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To President Trump and his minions; I believe that I remember correctly, that only Congress has the power to declare war.

Any other use of any war authorization of force, is extra-judicial, and therefore illegal, as was the war against Iraq, and the war against Afghanistan.

and there is also a companion piece, in antiwar.com, dated yesterday, with the following headline:

'We Need Everyone in the Streets': More Than 180 Events Planned Across US to Protest Trump's March to War With Iran

I would like to remind our readers, particularly those who are too young to remember it, that the very huge, and peaceful, demonstration in DC ultimately stopped the war against Vietnam.

KRIEGER: THE FINAL CHAPTER IN THE DECLINE OF US IMPERIAL DOMINANCE HAS BEGUN

ANOTHER STUPID WAR
All I wanted to do this week was work on part 2 of my localism series, but circumstances quickly got the best of me. The assassination of Iran’s top general Qassem Soleimani was an event of such historical significance, I feel obligated to detail my thoughts on what it means and how things unfold from here, especially given how much of a role geopolitics and questions of empire have played in my writings.

First off, we need to understand the U.S. is now at war with Iran. It’s an undeclared, insane and unconstitutional war, but it is war nonetheless. There is no world in which one government intentionally assassinates the top general of another government and that not be warfare. You can argue the U.S. and Iran were already engaged in low-level proxy wars, and that’s a fair assessment, but you can’t say we aren’t currently in far more serious a state of war. We are.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The next question is about not if things are about to get ugly; it is a question of when.

And that leads me to politely remind those in the deep recesses of the Bowels of Power in DC; there was an article, in the English language version of Moscow Times last summer, and the headline was;

Iran ‘Won’t Be Alone’ If U.S. Attacks, Russian Official Says The article went on to state: “Iran will withstand this type of fight and Iran is not alone,” Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, said at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow."

I have to shake my head as a lay-person, who is not half-lousy with research, that if I am aware of this promise from Russia to Iran, WHY AREN'T THE FOLKS AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT, CONGRESS, THE OVAL OFFICE, AND THE PENTAGON AWARE OF THIS ALSO?!?!?

And unfortunately, just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing the US government could possibly do, is utterly no guarantee that they won't do it.

War with Russia over Iran?!? You have GOT to be flipping kidding me!!!!!

AMERICA IS THE 4TH WORST ABUSER OF BIOMETRIC PRIVACY RIGHTS IN THE WORLD

SOURCE: MASS PRIVATE I

credit: Comparitech

Does anyone really believe America is still the land of the free?

Since 9/11, DHS, the FBI, the CIA, and countless other alphabet soup agencies have turned the United States into a public surveillance monstrosity.

In 19 years, one terrorist attack has done what no one else could have dreamed of: turn America’s freedoms into a distant memory.

Abusing citizen’s rights and privacy used to be the hallmark of dictatorships and police states like the CCCP or North Korea.

A recent study conducted by Comparitech, rated 50 countries from best to worst at protecting citizen’s biometric data.

The study found that America is one of the world’s worst abusers of citizen’s biometric privacy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me completely unsurprised at this.

Reports Show Soleimani was Lured to Iraq by Trump Himself then Murdered

Correct me if I am wrong, Trump is the first President to openly claim credit for the assassination of a foreign chief of state. Historically, heads of states are assassinated by the CIA as black budget operations giving a president plausible deniability in the press. Trump in this case both admits responsibility for the strike and is actively taunting the Iranians with the death of their #2 on social media.

What president in their right mind would get on a public platform and brag about assassinating a head of state like Trump has done this last week, and then, on top of that, threaten 52 Iranian targets including cultural sites if they decide to respond with their own attacks?

America the Repugnant. Assassinating Foreign Leaders Is an Act of War

Take the window dressing away from the Pentagon and media propaganda and all one has left is that the United States illegally and openly killed a senior official from a country with which it is not at war and did so without the consent of the third country where the assassination took place with which the U.S. is also not at war. The assassination was not in reality based on any imminent threat and is therefore illegal under international law and is undeniably an unconstitutional act of war directed against both Iran and Iraq.

Man returned to jail over medical pot

An Albuquerque man says he was hauled back to jail from a community custody program when a search of his home turned up medical marijuana and a pipe – a punishment he and his attorney say violates state law.

According to a petition filed Tuesday in state District Court, Joe Montaño suffers from chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder and is a qualified medical cannabis patient. The 48-year-old had been sentenced to 90 days for aggravated drunken driving, and he was serving his time outside the county jail through the Community Custody Program.

Tired of media’s Pentagon spin? Lee Camp outlines 6 things you aren’t being told about the US assassination of Soleimani (VIDEO)

The host of Redacted Tonight has listed six things about the highly controversial killing that the media has either ignored completely or under-reported, including the not-so-convenient fact that Soleimani had come to Baghdad to hold de-escalation talks with Saudi Arabia – before being killed by a US drone.

President Trump Delivers Remarks

Check out the expressions on General Milley's face and some of the other officers. Pence looks happy. The military people don't. Milley looks like he is chewing nails. CIA drone did the deed. The US Military took the hit. Trump a day or 2 earlier in 2 letters to the Iranians delivered by the Swiss envoy, asked the Iranians for a proportional response ie. kill a US high ranking officer and not to hit a base with a bunch of missiles.
I think we have a really pissed off military at the moment. They are probably mad at damn near everybody because they have been made the Patsies for this mess.

Swallowing War Propaganda

Cutting through bad arguments, distractions, and euphemisms to see murder for what it is.

The Trump administration has assassinated Iran’s top military leader, Qassim Suleimani, and with the possibility of a serious escalation in violent conflict, it’s a good time to think about how propaganda works and train ourselves to avoid accidentally swallowing it.

The Economic Risks of Trump’s Reckless Assassination

If Tehran ever decided to shut down the Strait of Hormuz it would trigger a global depression, writes Pepe Escobar.

Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani had flown into Baghdad on a normal carrier flight, carrying a diplomatic passport. He had been sent by Tehran to deliver, in person, a reply to a message from Riyadh on de-escalation across the Middle East. Those negotiations had been requested by the Trump administration.

So, Baghdad was officially mediating between Tehran and Riyadh, at the behest of Trump. And Soleimani was a messenger.

Now, the fact is that the United States government – on foreign soil, as a guest nation – has assassinated a diplomatic envoy who was on an official mission that had been requested by the United States government itself.

Special: Trump The Assassin

Qasem Soleimani was assassinated on January 2nd, 2020 in Baghdad by a drone strike ordered by Israel-first Trump. The Iranian Commander of the ‘Quds Force’ was murdered alongside the leader of the Iraqi ‘Popular Mobilization Forces’, Jamal Jaafar Ibrahimi, aka Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, in addition to at least 6 other persons.

It was a coward act by a coward President who’s no better than a gangbanger on a drive-by shooting targeting unarmed individuals, who in this case were on a diplomatic mission.
