Disgusting!! Anti-Russian propaganda appearing in Dutch school textbooks

The following two images were found on page 67 of the workbook, Chapter 7: countries without democracy. The first image shows Russia as the 'evil' country trying to take Ukraine, while Europe is pictured lending a 'helping' hand. One of the questions students are asked, is: "What is Russia doing, and what is Europe doing in this picture?" Well, that isn't difficult to answer: Evil-looking Russia is obviously trying to devour poor Ukraine, while friendly Europe is looking on concerned!

Webmaster's Commentary:

This reminds me of the overt commie-bashing crap that was in my grade school textbooks back in the fifties!

Obama blasts Supreme Court for accepting challenge to health care law

President Obama assaulted the nation's top court and seemed to criticize the U.S. legal system as a whole Monday, with the former constitutional law professor declaring that the Supreme Court was wrong to even accept a challenge to his signature health care reform law and deriding the fact that an “individual district court judge” was able to derail his deportation amnesty.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama's getting too big for his britches! He seems to forget that as the head of the Executive Branch, his job is to execute the will of the Congress, but only after the Supreme Court verifies the Constitutionality of the law. The President presides, he does not dictate. Obama has forgotten that simple rule.

German Television Exposes Holocaust Lies: Historic Broadcast Shocks Germany

In one of the most amazing events to occur in occupied Germany since the second world war Historian Ursula Haverbeck made history in a defiant interview in which she openly trashed the very basis of the lie upon which all modern European social democratic states have been built. The elderly historian, brought into question the moral integrity of all Western political parties and academic institutions, exposing the official account of the second world war and the Holocaust for the lie it was on a television station which is the second largest in the world after Britain’s BBC.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Immediately afterwards, the German police kicked down Ursula's door and arrested her.

Carbon Credits: The Future World Currency

You know, those predatory loans globalists offer 3rd world countries knowing they will never be able to produce a high enough GDP to even service the interest on the debt, let alone the principle? Then just like with every other situation in regards to this scam, once they fail to pay back the loans, the IMF and World Bank take control of all the resources and production, and give it back to industrialized countries’ corporate entities.

Finally, as a solution, a conference or summit is formed, usually by none other than, the U.N. The conference is held and blame is put on the super powers for the “rise” in greenhouse gasses and ocean temperatures.

The solution? Implement one of two options, or possibly a mix of the two.

Washington’s Death Squads

In a lengthy article published Sunday, the New York Times provided a glimpse into the criminal and grisly methods employed by Seal Team 6, a secret unit within the Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

The unit was made famous by the phony accounts of its assassination of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, cover stories that were blown last month by veteran journalist Seymour Hersh, who exposed the operation as the cold-blooded murder of an unarmed and decrepit individual who had been fingered by Pakistani intelligence.

What the Times account makes clear—whatever the newspaper’s intentions and its undoubted vetting of its material with the Pentagon and the White House—is that in the pursuit of its global interests, the United States government has become ever more dependent upon the murderous operations of secret death squads.

5 Ways Powerful People Trick You Into Hating Underdogs

Let's say that tomorrow you are elected Secret Ruler of the USA, a position that gives you total power over the government, economy, and the culture at large -- everything that hippies refer to as "the system." Now, your first job is to not get beheaded by rioting peasants, which means your first job is really to maintain "stability" (i.e., "keeping things mostly the way they are").

Immediately you'll find that you're facing a never-ending stream of protests from disgruntled groups who say they're being treated unfairly or otherwise getting left out -- this group over here is upset that somebody got abused by the police; this other bunch is demanding better wages or something. How do you handle it? Sure, you could crush their movements with an iron fist, using violence to kill, intimidate or arrest their most vocal members. But that can backfire, often turning them into martyrs and proving them right in the process -- you've seen Star Wars; somebody always finds the exhaust port.

3 Hours and 47 Minutes After Obama Says He’ll Sign Law BANNING Bulk Collection, DOJ Asks Secret Court to CONTINUE Bulk Collection

The Obama administration has asked a secret surveillance court to ignore a federal court that found bulk surveillance illegal and to once again grant the National Security Agency the power to collect the phone records of millions of Americans for six months.

The legal request, filed nearly four hours after Barack Obama vowed to sign a new law banning precisely the bulk collection he asks the secret court to approve, also suggests that the administration may not necessarily comply with any potential court order demanding that the collection stop.

Instead of Training to Solve Crimes, Cops Team Up with the Military to Prep for War

While the media was focused on Bruce Jenner’s transformation into Caitlyn Jenner last week they missed the further transformation of the Indiana State Police into a militarized police Force.

Together with the Indiana National Guard they weren’t practicing solving crimes, they were practicing Fast Rope techniques from a Blackhawk helicopter.

The above video contains actual footage which the Free Thought Project secured from the department of Defense, of the exercises.

Unlike in the recent special forces exercise that just occurred in Michigan, using live ordinance at an abandoned public school, this exercise took place at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center.

Discarding their traditional police uniforms they adorned military fatigues and we’re fully equipped to kill.

Who shot who in Waco biker bloodbath? Mystery as witnesses say semi-automatic guns favored by POLICE did most of the shooting in contested accounts of battle

Six witnesses have described a melee that began with a few pistol shots but was dominated by semi-automatic gunfire.

Waco police have said they returned fire after being shot at, and call the witnesses' depictions of events incorrect.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The only ones at the scene with semi-automatic assault rifles were the police. Only one such weapon was confiscated from the victims and that was found in the locked trunk of a car after the shooting was over. HSBC TO FIRE 50,000, ONE IN FIVE JOBS, TO FUND DIVIDENDS TO SHAREHOLDERS

Why Is The EU Forcing European Nations To Adopt ‘Bail-In’ Legislation By The End Of The Summer?

Are they expecting something to happen? As you will read about below, the European Union says that any nation within the EU that does not enact “bail-in” legislation within the next two months will face legal action. The countries that are being threatened in this manner include Italy and France. If you fast forward two months from this moment, that puts us in early August. So clearly the European Union wants everything to be squared away by the end of the summer. Is there a reason for this? Are they anticipating that something really bad will happen in September or thereafter? Why such a rush?

We all remember what happened when major banks were “bailed out” during the last financial crisis. A tremendous amount of taxpayer money was given to the big banks to help prop them up so they wouldn’t fail. This greatly upset a lot of people.

It Begins! Montana Man Being Prosecuted for 'Hate Speech' and Holocaust Denial

Via Volokh Conspiracy, a disturbing criminal case out of Montana, where Flathead County resident David Lenio, 28, is being prosecuted for making disparaging remarks about Jews on Twitter and denying that the Holocaust happened.

While this sort of prosecution is common in parts of Europe, Americans enjoy the protection of the First Amendment, which contains no exception for what's colloquially known as "hate speech." Obama says Supreme Court should never have taken up health law case, in blunt challenge

President Obama bluntly challenged the Supreme Court over a pending ruling on the validity of ObamaCare subsidies, complaining Monday that the court should never have taken up the case -- and warning that a ruling against subsidies would be a "twisted interpretation" of the law.

The president and his administration's legal team for months have fought the Affordable Care Act court challenge, which is over whether people who enrolled through the federal HealthCare.gov are entitled to subsidies.

But the president's comments on Monday, during a press conference on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Germany, were perhaps his toughest to date. He strongly suggested the court would be running afoul of established legal guidance if it rules against the administration, and took the rare step of saying the court should have stayed out of this fight.

Cameron trips up over Europe at G7 summit, denies U-turn

British Prime Minister David Cameron tripped up over Europe at a summit of the Group of Seven Industrial nations (G7), appearing to issue an ultimatum to his own ministers over the EU only to swiftly withdraw it, saying he had been misunderstood.

The debacle was Cameron's first serious setback since he was re-elected a month ago and was all the more awkward because it concerned his flagship policy of renegotiating Britain's EU ties before holding an in-out EU membership referendum.

His uncertain handling of such an important issue is likely to be interpreted as a sign of how nervous he is to keep his fractious Conservative Party united to avoid a re-run of past splits which helped topple his two immediate predecessors.

BALTIMORE MAN WHO FILMED FREDDIE GRAY ARREST NOW CHARGED WITH ‘INCITING A RIOT’

Charged with “terrorism” and “inciting a riot” as backlash for filming the police?

That certainly seems to be the case.Back in April, Counter Current News broke the story on Kevin Moore’s arrest before he had been processed. Working closely with activists on the ground in Baltimore, we were informed of the arrest on trumped up charges right as it happened. We have been following the story since then, and some of the latest developments continue to disturb and concern us, and they should concern you too.

Why should you be concerned? Kevin Moore, the man who filmed the now infamous Freddie Gray arrest, just before police apparently killed the Baltimore resident in the back of a police van, was harassed continuously after he filmed the police. Following that harassment, he was arrested and charged with such outlandish crimes as “terrorism” and “inciting a riot” as well as “evading police,” “driving with no license,” and an open container charge.

Secret Directive 11 codifies Islamists takeover of ME, Muslim Brotherhood Alliance with Obama

Directive 11 brought together activists and operatives at multiple agencies to come up with a “tailored” approach for regime change in each country. The goal was to “manage” the political transitions. It tossed aside American national security interests by insisting that Islamist regimes would be equally committed to fighting terrorism and cooperating with Israel. Its greatest gymnastic feat may have been arguing that the best way to achieve political stability in the region was through regime change.

What little we know about the resulting classified 18-page report is that it used euphemisms to call for aiding Islamist takeovers in parts of the Middle East. Four countries were targeted. Of those four, we only know for certain that Egypt and Yemen were on the list. But we do know for certain the outcome.

Meanwhile, ISIS has been found across the border in Mexico.

Owner of house blown apart by SWAT says: 'This is an abomination. This is an atrocity'

"In any civilized nation ... this is the act of paramilitary thugs," he says he told the chief of the Greenwood Village Police Department.

The damage was inflicted by police and SWAT officers who were working to capture Robert Jonathan Seacat, a suspected 33-year-old shoplifter who allegedly barged into a random home Wednesday afternoon, and opened fire on police when they tried to arrest him a short time later.

A neighbor, who says the SWAT team used his home as a base of operations, points out that whatever the police used to blast the holes sent debris flying.

National Debt – Or 1 is Too Many and 12 are Not Enough

The increase in US national debt was $421 Billion between October 2001 and October 2002, but the debt increased by $1.89 Trillion between October 2008 and October 2009. A $100 Billion deficit was too much spending to maintain a stable currency, but after traveling down the dangerous road of deficit spending, over $1 Trillion in excess spending was not enough to stimulate the economy back to health.

Global debt has been reported at $200 Trillion, having increased $57 Trillion in the last 8 years, yet economies are still weak in Japan, Europe, the UK, and the US. If global central bankers and governments had wanted sound financial systems, they would not have traveled down the dangerous road of ever increasing debt, monetizing bonds, ZIRP (zero interest rate program), negative interest rates in Europe, and more. One trillion dollars in debt was far too much, but in our “Financial Twilight Zone” world, $200 Trillion is not enough.

Berners-Lee Urges Britons To Fight The Snooper's Charter, But For One UK Tech Company It's Too Late

The economic argument that online businesses need an environment in which privacy is respected, is probably one of the few that David Cameron might listen to. As Berners-Lee notes, if a tech startup can't promise potential users basic protection for their personal data, then its product is seriously hobbled before it's even launched. That means that once the Snooper's Charter is in place -- assuming there is no rebellion by freedom-loving Conservative MPs when it comes to the vote -- people will think twice about choosing the UK as the base for a new tech company. In fact, people have already started leaving because of what the Snooper's Charter will do to their businesses.

Top FBI Official Says Tech Companies Need To 'Prevent Encryption Above All Else'

Usually, when we see clueless government lackeys discussing the need to backdoor encryption, they at least admit upfront that they think encryption is important in protecting private information. Even that nutty rambling speech by Homeland Security Appropriations chair Rep. John Carter recognized that there were important reasons to use encryption to protect privacy. And FBI boss James Comey usually does some hand waving to that effect as well. But apparently he forgot to tell one of his deputies.

While testifying before Congress, Michael Steinbach, assistant director in the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, just went to the levels of pure insanity, in arguing that above all else companies should work to prevent encryption. This was during a ridiculous grandstanding hearing held by the House Homeland Security Committee entitled "Terrorism Gone Viral", and Steinbach didn't waste the opportunity to make a ridiculously viral comment of his own.

ICH BIN URSULA - Ursula's Message in English

Ursula Haverbeck wants an answer to a simple question. Following the events in Paris, the Je Suis Charlie campaign called for the protection and promotion of freedom of opinion and speech. In the same spirit, Ursula Haverbeck points out that with mainstream historical authorities now accepting that Auschwitz was not the scene of the murder of millions of Jews in homicidal gas chambers, there is no established "scene of the crime". She has challenged official bodies including ministers of the various German states to provide an answer – to define the scene of the crime. They have so far failed to do so, and she must therefore conclude that there is no substantiation to the official history of Auschwitz.
