Federal Whistleblowers Expose TSA’s “Quiet Skies” Secret Surveillance Program for ALL Travelers

It appears that, once again, the government narrative that TSA surveillance and groping is needed to keep Americans safe from the terrorists “over there” is nothing but a justification to violate the rights of everyone.

Santa Cruz, CA – While the United States federal government and the Department of Veterans Affairs continue their efforts to keep cannabis from the people who need it the most, local growers are starting a movement in a state that is known for its “big government,” in an effort to make a difference in their community.

It is no secret that the VA has a history of failing to provide proper medical care for the veterans in its care. In fact, in 2015, a leaked document showed that more than 238,000 veterans died waiting for treatment, according to the Department of Veteran Affairs’ backlog.

When veterans do receive treatment, it comes in the form prescription drugs, many of which are opioid painkillers and antidepressants that are highly addictive, have alarming and dangerous side effects, and have been shown to worsen the symptoms they are supposed to treat.

Webmaster's Commentary:

God bless these people!!

The one-party political class fears competition and hates criticism. That’s basically what the Russian election meddling narrative is all about.
The latest accusation comes from Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford. He told ABC News the political class has to “be very aware that the Russians are trying to be able to interfere in our elections every other way they can to be able to harvest information and then to be able to use that against our democracy.”

This is the standard M.O. of tech companies and social media networks. Facebook has done this for years. It installs a cookie on your computer that tracks were you go on the internet. Facebook and others use this information to target consumers. The information is sold to corporations.

The largest collector of personal information is the NSA. But we’re not hearing about the threat it poses to “democracy.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think that Senator Lankford would be hard-pressed to name even one country in which the United States either desperately tried to flip an election of a foreign government, or funded/supported the winning candidate.

Russia... is not my enemy, nor the real enemy of the American people; that's the job of the one percenters and the military industrial complex, which consistently attempt to misdirect America's attention away from the real problems facing our country, and why those problems exist.

And to the alphabet soup agencies scanning our posts, please don't worry that I will ever advocate the use of violence against anyone; I'm a Christian pacifist activist, who really likes the Biblical admonition: "Be ye wise as serpents and as innocent as doves."

It's that "wisdom thing" to which we will always point our readers and listeners at this website! :-)

Switzerland’s financial regulator has accused Rothschild Bank AG and its trust subsidiary of violating anti-money laundering law in relation to 1MDB, the troubled Malaysian sovereign wealth fund.
According to the regulator, both Rothschild Bank AG and Rothschild Trust AG failed to check where assets from a client came from. The firms reportedly disregarded signs that the funds could be connected to money-laundering and took the money anyway. The companies run by the Rothschild family are also accused of reporting on the issue too late.

“Specifically, they were in breach of due diligence, reporting and documentation requirements,” Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) said in a statement. “Finma will appoint an audit agent to review enhancements already put in place by the institutions.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Color me completely unsurprised at this development; and you have to think about all the times banks and financial services get away with this kind of behaviour, undetected.

Despite attempts by the US and European media to depict the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) in cartoon villain terms, it was always clear to serious analysis that the terrorist organization’s fighters, weapons, supplies and money were entering Syria and the result of extensive outside support.

A look at any map of the Syrian conflict, regardless of its source over the past 7 years shows IS and other militant groups maintaining territory with corridors leading directly to the borders of Syria’s neighbors, particularly NATO-member Turkey and US allies Israel and Jordan.

There have been direct admissions from the US itself that it played a role in IS’ creation. A 2013 leaked US Defense Intelligence Agency memo (.pdf) would explicitly note that the US and its allies sought the creation of what it then called a “Salafist principality” in eastern Syria, precisely where IS would later establish itself.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable: ISIS was a created "frenemy", against which the US government could rail when it wanted to as being the "ultimate villain in the Middle East, while the US government was supporting it with weapons and money.

—The 2016 law, hamstringing the DEA, still has not been repealed—

The major pipeline for trafficking opioid drugs starts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, who are intentionally distributing opioids far beyond any legitimate need.

A significant percentage of this human carnage results from illegal distribution of opioids.

Here is the open secret:

That law is the Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act of 2016, passed by Congress and signed by President Obama on 4/9/16.

And that is the federal government’s role in perpetuating and expanding the opioid crisis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are non-opioid pain killers which, when used carefully, can control pain without addiction; but of course, many of these are both cheap, and legal, so the information doesn't get out there, and people continue to die from opium addiction.

The European Commission, in its official war on cash, admitted that physical cash is perhaps not quite the source of all evil that many EU institutions, including the Commission itself, had made it out to be. And it has abandoned its war on cash.

In a report to the European Parliament and Council on the viability of EU-wide cash payment restrictions, the Commission made three crucial observations.

1. Cash restrictions would have little effect on terrorist financing

2. Cash restrictions could be useful in combating money laundering but are of limited help against tax fraud.

3. There is no appetite among the European public for EU-wide cash limits.

Finally, a journalist for a mainstream UK media outlet is methodically tracking weapons shipment serial numbers and English-language paperwork recovered from al-Qaeda groups in Syria, and he’s literally showing up at arms factories and questioning arms dealers, including officials at the Saudi Embassy in London, asking: why are your weapons in the hands of terrorists?

Veteran Middle East war correspondent Robert Fisk recently published a bombshell report entitled, I traced missile casings in Syria back to their original sellers, so it’s time for the west to reveal who they sell arms to. In it Fisk recalls a bit of detective sleuthing he’s lately been engaged in after stumbling upon a batch of missile casings and shipment paperwork last year hidden in what he describes as “the basement of a bombed-out Islamist base in eastern Aleppo” with the words “Hughes Aircraft Co/Guided Missile Surface Attack” emblazoned on the side of the spent tubes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the world of reporting geopolitics, Robert Fisk has always been an industrial-strength, tell-it-like-it-is guy.

And the reason he has found these western markings on the bombs and bullets he's looking at, is that the west was supporting these terrorists with weapons and money, to attempt to bring down the duly elected government of Syria.

Ordinary US Citizens Now Surveilled By Air Marshals As Part Of Secret New Program

If you're a law abiding US citizen, a team of armed undercover US Air Marshals could be following you on your next flight, taking minute-by-minute notes whether or not you engage in such threatening behavior as sleeping on the plane, using a phone, going to the bathroom or talking to other passengers.

The Boston Globe has revealed a new federal program that profiles and surveils ordinary US citizen travelers who otherwise have no legitimate reason for being profiled. The secret program, called "Quiet Skies", was set up to monitor US citizens with no prior record and who don't result in red flags being raised at the airport. The people surveiled and followed in this program are, according to a TSA memo cited by the Globe article, "not under investigation by any agency and are not in the Terrorist Screening Data Base".

How Israel Silences Palestine in EU Circles

The Israeli propaganda machine works internationally to undermine the role of Palestinian NGOs which disclose Israeli violations of international law, and maintain the well-being of Palestinian people.

Imagine the following: a toxic op-ed is published that defames your organisation. You contact the website on which it features and are invited to publish a rebuttal.

The next day, you submit your article. As the editors are about to put it online, they are targeted by a sophisticated disinformation campaign.

More than a dozen people call the editors, seemingly on your behalf, and apply heavy pressure to publish the article. One of the callers even tries to bribe them to get it published.

This confuses and intimidates the editors, who have never experienced anything like it.

They fear that publishing under pressure may damage the independence and reputation of their website, which is a news magazine for the European Parliament.

10 Signs That America Is In Much Worse Trouble Than We All Thought…

You may find it difficult to believe some of the things that I am about to share with you. Instinctively, most of us know that America is in trouble, but recently it has been impressed upon me that things are much worse than I originally believed. Our cities are becoming cesspools, our nation is falling apart all around us, and it seems like the number of sick, twisted and depraved people is multiplying. We still have a relatively high standard of living for the moment, but the only reason we can maintain that standard of living is because we are on the greatest debt binge in human history. And once that bubble bursts, I fear for what this nation is going to become, because things are getting really bad out there. The following are 10 signs that America is in much worse trouble than we all thought…

What the Internet Sales Tax Is All About

What’s offensive about all this is that the Supreme Court didn’t pick up on what is plainly a backdoor tariff foisted on the American people. A Court that’s required to elevate the Constitution, and in doing so ensure that trade among American citizens is regular and free, has empowered cities and states to effectively put up tariff barriers to trade through a wholly invented taxing power. If this is doubted, readers need only ask again if they would cheerfully pay local taxes on transactions made in person, but not in the city or state they live in. Not a chance.

"God Help Us" - British Army Readied In Case Of Hard Brexit

Just as was extremely evident prior to the actual vote in 2016, scaremongering around Brexit (deal or no deal) is escalating among the cognoscenti or desperate Remain 'told you so'-ers.

Britain's Sunday Times reports that UK ministers have drawn up plans to send in the army to deliver food, medicines and fuel in the event of shortages if Britain crashes out of the EU without a deal.

Blueprints for the armed forces to assist the civilian authorities, usually used only in civil emergencies, have been dusted down as part of the "no deal" planning, with helicopters and army trucks used to ferry supplies to vulnerable people outside the southeast who were struggling to obtain the medicines they needed.

However, as ominous as this sounds, The Sunday Times admits - a number of paragraphs into their "Army on standby for no-deal Brexit emergency" story - that a source inside the Ministry of Defense said they have not yet received "a formal request" to assist the civilian authorities.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Scaremongering indeed!!

Ecuador president says Wikileak’s Julian Assange MUST leave embassy but wants assurances he won’t be executed

Australian-born Assange will eventually need to leave the London embassy where he has been living since 2012, Ecuador President Lenin Moreno says.

JULIAN Assange's legal team says Ecuador is seeking assurances he won't be EXECUTED if he is forced to leave its embassy in London.

Speculation about Assange's future has grown in recent days, amid reports that officials from Ecuador and Britain are discussing how to remove him after revocation of his asylum.

Forty years ago, Wadie Haddad was one of the world’s most wanted men. Bold, determined, ruthless, Haddad was the founder of the far-Left Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

He trained notorious terrorist Carlos the Jackal and masterminded the hijack of an Air France plane that was flown to Entebbe in Uganda and later rescued by Israeli commandos.

Not surprisingly, the Israeli secret service, Mossad, wanted him dead. But six years after they first put out a ‘kill order’, Haddad was still very much alive, living in apparent comfort in Baghdad.

What happened next was worthy of a James Bond thriller. On January 10, 1978, a Mossad agent inside Haddad’s inner circle, known only as Sadness, switched his toothpaste for an identical tube laced with a deadly toxin, developed in a secret laboratory near Tel Aviv.

Every time Haddad brushed his teeth, a tiny quantity of the toxin worked its way through his gums into his bloodstream.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mossad did the same thing to Yasser Arafat, by poisoning his toothpaste with polonium.

But for a country which boasts about itself being a bastion of alleged "democracy" (except for the Palestinians, of course), being #1 in the world for assassinations is, indeed, a thoroughly dubious distinction.

Homicide and crime rates – including sexual assaults, and knife and gun attacks – continue to rise in the United Kingdom, with 90% of recorded offenses not ending in charges.

A report published last week lays bare the shocking numbers – crimes resulting in charges sat at 11%, with the percentage falling two points in just a year to 9%; down from 15% in 2015.

Since March of this year and the 12 months before, only 443,000 crimes out of 4.6 million recorded resulted in charges.

Earlier this year, the homicide rate in London overtook New York City – with knife attacks rising by more than 30%. Although crime rates are surging in the U.K.,officer numbers in London have hit a record low.

As it stands, fewer than 1 in 10 of recorded crimes result in a charge, doing little to abate fear that England is undergoing an epidemic of violent crime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These numbers are truly horrific, and one has to wonder how many of these crimes were committed by immigrants.

What the UK government does not want to admit, is the degree to which these crmes are influenced by the culture wars they are experiencing between born-Brits, and those born elsewhere, who will not assimilate and learn anything about the culture of their adoptive country.

When she went to Egypt for vacation, Mona el-Mazbouh surely didn’t expect to end up in prison. But after the 24-year-old Lebanese tourist posted a video in which she complained of sexual harassment—calling Egypt a lowly, dirty country and its citizens “pimps and prostitutes”—el-Mazbouh was arrested at Cairo’s airport and found guilty of deliberately spreading false rumors that would harm society, attacking religion, and public indecency. She was sentenced to eight years in prison.

The video that el-Mazbouh posted was ten minutes long, and went viral on Facebook, causing an uproar in Egypt. In the video, el-Mazbouh also expressed anger about poor restaurant service during Ramadan and complained of her belongings being stolen. Egyptian men and women posted videos in response to her original video, prompting el-Mazbouh to delete the original video and post a second video on Facebook apologizing to Egyptians.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The answers here are very simple; if you go to Egypt, never complain about the country, until you are out of that country, permanently.

Perhaps the best thing to do would be to avoid Egypt for a vacation entirely.

But 8 years imprisonment after the removal of "...a blod clot from her brain which impaired her ability to control anger"?!?

Can Allah (and the folks who represent his religious brand in Egypt), not, perhaps be a little more merciful?!?

Sorry, Egyptian government and judicial system; the optics here are horrific, and I hope you can do better than this.

What the woman needs, and all of us, being 21st century humans, understand this, is counseling, coupled with some natural supplements to help her remain more calm. IF I were part of this woman's family, that would be the kind of treatment for which I would be advocating.

Much like the carefully orchestrated de-legalization of cannabis during the 1930’s, there was a powerful decades-long misleading campaign against psilocybin mushrooms which caused a deep-rooted fear and a subsequent public rejection of this substance.

Just as cannabis is now finally seeing an increase in public trust, several studies have been published which show extremely promising results for the use of psilocybin mushrooms in patients who suffer from anxiety and depression, or are battling addiction, and for patients who are terminally ill, helping them to alleviate their fear of death.

Psilocybin can also be exceedingly helpful for individuals who don’t have full blown depression or anxiety. The pace and structure of modern life is creating symptoms of these disorders in practically everyone, and the number of people afflicted is constantly on the rise.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It really bugs me that this, and cannabis, are not medically available for our Vets, who suffer with PTSD, and are given a raft of drugs with horrific side effects, like SSRI drugs.

The annual revenues of some corporations are so colossal that they dwarf the economies of many countries across the globe. However, the world’s most profitable and successful businesses do not always have stellar reputations.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is because of the following; such companies have a phalanx of tax people and attornies, who understand how to squeeze every loophole in the law in order to get the maximum tax advantage; they contribute to political parties so laws are written in their favor; and they generally treat employees like excrement, and in the US, these employees frequently have to rely on medicare for healthcare, and food stamps, in order to eat, meaning that the public is subsidising them.

Steve Bannon plans to lead a populist revolt throughout Europe which, if successful, will crush George Soros and his network of open-border NGO's to smithereens, according to the Daily Beast.

And just how does the former White House chief strategist and Goldman Sachs alum plan to do this?

Bannon will set up a Brussels-based non-profit NGO called "The Movement" which will go head to head with Soros - with the goal of uniting like-minded European parties and various conservative think tanks along with other support structures.

The non-profit will be a central source of polling, advice on messaging, data targeting, and think-tank research for a ragtag band of right-wingers who are surging all over Europe, in many cases without professional political structures or significant budgets.

Bannon’s ambition is for his organization ultimately to rival the impact of Soros’s Open Society, which has given away $32 billion to largely liberal causes since it was established in 1984.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This will be a real David (Bannon) and Goliath (Soros) clash; let us hope, for the sake of the countries and parties rejecting unfiltered immigration, that David wins.

Mexico’s next president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a former Mexico City mayor and outspoken critic of the political establishment - has a significant uphill battle once he is inaugurated as President on December 01: deadly violence in the country is intensifying and has hit an all-time high.

Mexico posted its highest homicides on record, with a new government report Sunday showing murders in the country rose by 16 percent in the first half of 2018.

The Interior Department said there were 15,973 homicides in the first half of the year, compared to 13,751 killings in the same period of 2017.

According to the AP, the record-breaking homicides have surpassed the violence seen during the dark years of Mexico’s drug war in 2011, along with exceeding all government data since records began in 1997.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The drug cartels appear to be in complete, total control in many areas in Mexico.

It used to be a great place for Americans to vacation; not any more.

The one thing incoming President Obrador could do to stop the drug violence, would be to decriminalize all drugs, as Portugal has done, to take the financial incentive out of drug-selling.

The problem with that, of course, is that the Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika would have to go along, and there are far too many people on this side of the border (including banks) who are making far too much money off illegal drugs to allow that to happen, unfortunately.

3 Things Happening RIGHT NOW That Could Wreak Havoc on the Economy

These conditions could be troubling for farmers and ranchers. California produces a tremendous amount of the food grown in the United States and the Midwest and Southwest are studded with farms and ranches. Again, we could be looking at a massive increase in prices as shortages arise due to weather conditions. This is a shortage that would normally be overcome by importing the foods, but wait – since there’s a trade war, you can expect those imports to have an extra 25% cost slapped on them. Look out, economy. None of these things alone would be enough to collapse the economy, but together, they’re a perfect storm.

The United States is responsible for the deaths of 5 million people in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and over 1 million just since 2003 in Iraq.

3 Things Happening RIGHT NOW That Could Wreak Havoc on the EconomyDaisy Luther

There are three events happening in the economy right now that could, alone, cause the prices of everything from food to the materials to make replacement parts for your vehicle to skyrocket. But if you combine them all together? We could be facing a perfect storm of economic havoc.

Iran is blocking oil exports from Saudi Arabia

Yesterday, Saudi Arabia announced that they were halting oil exports through a specific lane in the Red Sea due to attacks by “Yemen’s Iran-aligned rebels.” Reuters reported:

The trade war is getting more heated every day.

As soon as President Trump slapped tariffs on products from China, the EU, and even Canada, he opened the door to our exports also being subject to tariffs. While I think the intentions were good – to bring production back to the United States – the whole thing could turn out to be very, very bad for many Americans. We are going to see the prices of almost everything we buy increasing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I agree with all three elements Daisy Luther cites as potentials for putting our economy - and lives - out of whack, and quickly.

What she does not mention, however, is the relentless 3 year US-enabled Saudi genocide of Yemen, where innocent people are being killed by Saudi military through direct airstrikes; starvation, and the potentially weaponised cholera, which is sweeping the country. The Houthi have not attacked Saudi oil vessels for absolutely no darned good reason; and while I hate violence, as a way of resolving anything, one can understand the Yemeni fury which drove these attacks.

Radioactive Particles From Fukushima Nuclear Disaster Found in California Wine: Lisa Egan

Radioactive particles from the Fukushima disaster have been detected in – of all places – California wines.

Inspired by tests conducted in the aftermath of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, researchers at France’s National Center for Scientific Research, or CNRS, decided to test a series of California wines dating between 2009 and 2012. They looked for traces of radioactive particles, specifically cesium-137, a man-made isotope.

Smithsonian.com reported on the team’s findings:

Their findings, newly published in the pre-print online journal Arxiv, suggest that currents and atmospheric patterns carried radioactive particles across the Pacific, where they settled on grapevines growing in California’s wine regions. The team writes that bottles produced following the nuclear meltdown contain increased levels of cesium-137, with the cabernet revealing double the amount of pre-Fukushima radiation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you happen to have a resonance with California wines, look at the lable for the date of the vintage, and chose accordingly.

In Bizarre Response, Twitter Tells Trump It Does Not "Shadowban" While Admitting It Does

In response to growing outrage over the practice of "shadow banning" conservatives, as confirmed last week by the liberal publication VICE and promptly tweeted about by President Trump, Twitter issued a strange explanation to "set the record straight," where they explicitly state that they do not engage in the practice - except then they describe how they do exactly that.

"People are asking us if we shadow ban. We do not. But let’s start with, “what is shadow banning?”

The best definition we found is this: deliberately making someone’s content undiscoverable to everyone except the person who posted it, unbeknownst to the original poster." -Twitter

In other words, Twitter says they don't shadow ban - it's just that tweets from people you follow may never appear unless you click directly into their timeline.

Mattis Rejects Viral Australian Report On Impending US Iran Strikes

A day after an Australian ABC report went viral with the claim that the White House has drawn up plans to strike Iran's alleged nuclear facilities as early as next month, Defense Secretary James Mattis said on Friday morning it's a "complete fiction".

The Australian Broadcast Corporation report cited high level defense and intelligence figures: "Senior figures in the Australia's Turnbull government have told the ABC they believe the US is prepared to bomb Iran's nuclear capability," and perhaps most alarmingly added, "The bombing could be as early as next month."

Fox News national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin questioned Mattis about the report on Friday:

I asked Mattis about report US preparing strikes against Iran.

MATTIS: "I have no idea where the Australian news people got that information. I am confident it is not something that is being considered right now. I think it is a complete, frankly, it's fiction."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now, I would tend to believe the reports by Australian Broadcasting Corporation, over what Mattis is saying; I believe, however, that they got their timing wrong.

Please remember; 4 November is the "drop dead date" which President Trump has imposed upon the entire world, for not buying Iranian oil.

That date is the Sunday, before the US primaries, which occur Tuesday, 6 November.

I think it very likely for the Trump administration, using Israel intel, to do some kind of definitive military action against Iran either on the 4th, or the 5th of November, to insure that the GOP hangs on to their majority come election day.

Trump-Supporting Veteran Violently Attacked By LA Mob

A viral video from Thursday night shows a violent mob attacking a Marine veteran who was wearing a Trump shirt near President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The video begins with an enraged man shouting at Los Angeles-based journalist Elijah Schaffer, who showed up with singer Joy Villa and the veteran, wearing pro-Trump attire. The man, shouting at Schaffer, repeats the phrase "I can say nigger if I want to," before Schaffer tells the man to "get out of my face."

Then, a scuffle breaks out between an Asian man and an individual referred to as a Marine veteran, reports Infowars' Paul Joseph Watson.

The anti-Trump agitator throws the first punch at the veteran and then the man involved in the first confrontation physically assaults the veteran and Schaffer.

Other anti-Trump agitators join in the fight before one of them launches a kick at a man filming the scenes on a large camera.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are moments when I miss our former home in Greater LA; but hearing about this incident makes me very grateful that we no longer live there.

Physical violence, as a way of expressing one's political opinions, has become a critical tool of the left's articulation of its positions.

But not having a rule of law to thwart such behaviour is mobbocracy; and mobbocracy was the absolute polar opposite of what the framers of the Declaration and Bill of Rights had in mind when they created this country.

"This Will Make The French Revolution Look Like A Simple Colonic"

Round The Bend

The political insanity roiling the USA only gets worse, with no end in sight. On Wednesday, Senator Ed Markey (D-Mass), made the astonishing statement on CNN that “the American people wanted a confrontation, not a conversation,” between Presidents Trump and Putin in Helsinki.

Really? We wanted a mud wrestling bout and all we got was some lousy chit-chat? Next time, maybe Mr. Trump will bring a fungo bat to the room and “tune up” his counterpart - a popular negotiating technique from the rough-and-tumble New York City construction scene back in Mr. Trump’s halcyon days. Some people you just can’t reason with, especially the hell-spawned man-beast who personally directed Russian “meddling” and “interference” in our election and stole certain victory from president-designee Hillary. (I know this because The New York Times and The Washington Post said so.)

US Wheat Exports Losing Ground To Russia As Mexico Seeks 'Alternatives'

Russia briefly surpassed the United States as the top global wheat supplier in 2016, and the two top global suppliers have been neck and neck since, but recently the US market share has been on a dramatic decline due to Mexico increasingly turning to alternative suppliers like Russia amidst escalating trade tensions with its northern neighbor. This despite soaring Russian prices and a new setback to the Russian crop from drought.

The US has been Mexico's primary supplier since the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) took effect, but American suppliers are alarmed as Mexican millers begin looking elsewhere with the threat of tariffs looming, a trend since Donald Trump famously labelled NAFTA "the worst trade deal ever" signed by the US, followed by his April 2017 threat to pull out and has since called to renegotiate.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, this is double-plus ungood for American farmers who do not want charity, but want to be able to sell their product at reasonable prices.

Israeli police raid al-Aqsa mosque after clashes; two dead in Gaza

Israeli troopers entered Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque, the third-holiest shrine in Islam, and carried out arrests on Friday in what police described as a pursuit of youths who had lobbed rocks and fireworks during clashes with its forces outside.

The rare raid, on a site that is an emblem of Palestinians' statehood hopes and a frequent catalyst of their conflict with Israel, came as medics in Gaza said Israeli army gunfire killed two people - including a boy - during a weekly border protest.

A police spokesman said the troopers were sent into al-Aqsa after suspects who had barricaded themselves in after running confrontations in the surrounding compound, during which masked men launched firecrackers from handheld canisters.

There was no immediate word of any violence in the mosque, whose older male worshippers said they had been allowed to exit after being searched. Witnesses later saw around 20 younger men detained by police, and said mosque prayers later resumed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I seriously hope Abbas is completely wrong about that last statement; this is the last thing the Middle East needs right now.

Palestinian Truth-Telling Criminalized by Israel

Palestinian journalists daring to expose Israeli high crimes face extrajudicial arrest and imprisonment on the phony pretext of threatening national security.

Israeli violations against Palestinian media freedom are rampant. According to the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA), violations occur regularly, 62 reported in June alone – including by PA authorities acting as Israel’s enforcer.

Earlier in July, Israel shut down Al-Quds TV, banning its operations, prohibiting journalists from working with it on the phony pretext of inciting terrorism – code language for truth-telling the Netanyahu regime wants suppressed.

MADA denounced what’s going on, saying the latest “assault comes within a systematic and aggravated Israeli policy to suppress media freedoms and silencing journalism in Palestine by all forms of assaults, particularly, shutting down media institutions.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Think a moment; if everything the Israeli government and military are doing against the Palestinians is absolutely honorable and moral, why are they suppressing the reporting of it?!?

Teenaged girl shot by Israeli soldiers to walk again

A Palestinian teenage girl, who was shot by Israeli soldiers during anti-occupation rallies on Gaza Strip, will be able to walk again, her doctor said.

Meryem Abu-Matar, 16, who lives in Gaza’s Rafah city, was brought to Istanbul for medical treatment.

Since March, Abu-Matar has been through 42 phases of surgery, the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) said on Thursday.

The girl can now walk with the support of a walker.

She will soon be able to move without any support, said Dr. Mehmet Veli Karaaltin, her surgeon, who identified her wound as "severe".

He added that the treatment will last a year.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Abu Matar said: “I was targeted because I carry a Palestinian flag. I will continue my struggle."

“My message to the world is that the Palestinian people are unfairly under blockade. We will continue this struggle until we are free," she added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let me get my head around this: this 16 year old young woman was shot, not because she attempted to hurt any IDF member, but because she was carrying a Palestinian flag?!?

I have, BTW, just fired off an email to the charity helping this young woman, asking if Americans can, without legal repercussions against them, contribute to this charity. If so, I will create a link at WRH to their organisation. Their website can be found here:

Trump team preparing economic plan as part of Mideast peace proposal - official

A long-awaited Middle East peace plan from the Trump administration will include what the White House is calling a robust economic plan to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, an official has said.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys are also working on the most detailed set of proposals to date for the overall plan, the White House official said in a briefing with reporters on Monday.

The plan thus far has no release date. Trump had hoped to reveal it early this year but his decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the embassy there, reversing decades of U.S. policy, inflamed tensions in the region.

The Palestinians have said that they have lost faith in the Trump administration to act as a fair mediator and have boycotted the process since last December’s Jerusalem announcement.

The White House has offered few details on a peace plan that has drawn widespread scepticism even before its unveiling.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please: you and your Envoy, Jared Kushner, keep deliberately, and horrifically akwardly, missing the point here.

For the Palestinians, a peace deal with Israel is NOT about economic development; had it been just that, this would have resolved itself long ago.

The issue, gentlemen, is a viable homeland for the Palestinian people, and a recognised state, living in harmony, and trading with Israel.

This is what I am betting your "proposal' is missing in its entirety.

And until, and unless, this is resolved to the point where the Palestinian have a legitimate, recognized homeland, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank will continue to be embroiled in low-intensity, high Palestinian casualty combat against Israel, with Israel continuing to fight stones... with sharpshooters' bullets.

Yemen 'on brink of new cholera epidemic', charity warns

Thousands of people in Yemen could be affected by a new wave of deadly cholera in the coming weeks, an international charity says.

In a press release on Thursday, UK-based Save the Children warned the hot summer months are ideal conditions for cholera to spread rapidly.

It added that almost 3,000 suspected cholera cases were reported in the first week of July across the country - the highest number since the start of the year.

"Cholera could spread like wildfire in Yemen, potentially infecting thousands of children and completely overwhelming an already-crippled health system," the charity's CEO Helle Thorning-Schmidt said.

"Many hospitals have been reduced to rubble, and those that are still standing are barely functioning. Doctors have not been paid, pharmacies are understocked, and power cuts happen constantly."

More than one million people were infected with cholera last year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

But you have to understand; this is the precise outcome the Butcher of Yemen (A.K.A. Saudi Arabia's Prince Ben Salman) wants to see happen here.

More illness, more starvation, more polluted water, means more deaths, without having to use more American bombs and bullets; that's the math, people!!

And has the cholera infecting and killing Yemenis been weaponised here by the US and Saudis?!?

I can tell you that it has in the past, and that may be what is going on now. Here is an article from 2017, which may shed some light on the history of its use as a weapon.

US and Saudi Arabia using cholera to kill Yemenis

The article goes on to state:

"According to the Library of Congress, Science Reference Services, chemical/biological warfare is the term used to describe the use of chemical or biological agents as weapons to injure or kill humans, livestock, or plants. Chemical weapons are devices that use chemicals to inflict death or injury; biological weapons use pathogens or organisms that cause disease. Pathogens include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and toxins (poisons produced by animals or plants).

William M. Boardman via Readers support news reports:

Since March 2015, the US has supported Saudi Arabia and its allies in their criminal war of aggression against Yemen, committing daily war crimes, especially against civilians, who are now suffering a cholera epidemic with more than 400,000 victims. Cholera is caused by the bacteria Vibrio cholera and has been weaponized by the US, Japan (in World War II), South Africa (under apartheid), Iraq (under Saddam), and other states. To be most effective, cholera must be spread through water supplies. That’s what’s happening in Yemen now. More than two years of bombing has largely destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure, water and sewage systems are destroyed, hospitals and clinics are destroyed, and the population of about 25 million has almost no protection against the spread of cholera. The UN says Yemen’s cholera epidemic is “the largest ever recorded in any country in a single year since records began.”

When any country succeeds in weaponizing an illness, and uses it successfully as the US did with cholera, please understand, and with an absolute, and dreadful certainty, that they will use it again.

And the question you have to ask, going back to an earlier post I created this morning, is why, if this is the worst humanitarian crisis the world is facing right now, are you not being told about it by the presstitutes and warmongers at FOX; CBS; ABC: MSNBC?!?

It is very simple; you are not supposed to know about it, because the military industrial complex, now making billions from its sales of weapons to Saudi Arabia, and the US Deep State don't want you to know, because you might somehow think that this genocide against the Yemeni people, is at all on the right side of history.

Assange’s Freedom, Democracy’s Last Line of Defense

Over 50 years ago, in his letter from the Birmingham Jail, addressing a struggle of the civil right era, Martin Luther King Jr. wrote, "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people." His message is now more prevalent than ever in the current political climate surrounding WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange.

WikiLeaks stepped onto a global stage with release of a huge trove of classified documents, revealing crimes and corruption of governments. After the publication of war logs that exposed the atrocities committed by U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, the reaction of the Pentagon quickly escalated into a war against the First Amendment. WikiLeaks was subjected to unlawful financial blockades and there has been an ongoing secret grand jury against the organization and its associates since 2010.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Assange is not my enemy, nor the enemy to the people of this country; he is someone who brought the dark machinations of the US's and other countries' Deep States into the Light, where they could be seen for what they were.

And for this, he will probably spend the rest of his life in jail, if he is not assassinated first, in some way that makes it look like an "accident".

When the telling of the honest truth becomes transmogrified into treason or espionage, the society in which that has happened, has become a full-tilt, dictatorship, on steroids.

George Orwell's novel, "1984", was a cautionary tale; not a how-to manual!!

I would hope that those in the bowels of power in this country, in whose hands now lie the fate of Julian Assange, remember this.

Watchdog: US Wasted More Than $15.5 Billion in Afghanistan

Responding to requests from members of Congress, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has made his first attempt to calculate exactly how much money the US wasted in Afghanistan.

After 10 months of research, SIGAR said they could document $15.5 billion in waste since SIGAR’s inception in 2008. This is 29 percent of all of the spending audited by the SIGAR, who concedes the figure is probably low.

Current SIGAR John Sopko says that the figure is “likely only a portion of the total waste, fraud, abuse, and failed efforts.” He warned that the $4 billion in stabilization programs only “enabled corruption and bolstered support for insurgents.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, but perfectly predictable from this government.

Senators Threaten Action If Europe Ignores US Sanctions Against Iran

A group of 10 Republicans senators have issued a joint letter to the ambassadors from Britain, France and Germany saying they are “troubled” by European efforts to evade newly imposed US sanctions against Iran.

President Trump withdrew the US out of the P5+1 nuclear deal, of which all three of those European nations are still party to. The US thus considers the deal over, and wants all the pre-deal sanctions back in place. The European nations, and the EU in general, are trying to save the deal, irrespective of US opposition.

The letter demands that the European nations “comply with all American sanctions,” and warns that continued attempts to avoid doing so could be met by “congressional action” against the Europeans for resisting them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, and these 10 Republican Senators (all high recipients of AIPAC money, I might imagine), a word, please, gentlemen; what are you going to do to every nation which refuses to go along with these sanctions?!?

This giving the world a "drop dead date" (4 November of this year, I believe) by which the world was commanded by the US to NOT buy Iranian crude oil, was utterly not thought through.

And I would imagine that some countries are going to come up with very creative ways to not allow US sanctions to impinge their buying of Iranian oil (cryptocurrencies, perhaps, that the US would not be able to touch.)

Then what, gentlemen?!? Go to war with Iran, and the rest of the world which needs to buy their oil?!?

And please, in all this rush to demonize Iran (potentially ahead of a military strike against it), I hope someone in the bowels of power is asking themselves this question; what will Russia do, in the case of a US/Israeli attack against Iran?!?

Will the Duma and Putin just sit on their hands, singing "Kumbyah"?!?

I would strongly tend to doubt this.

Also, what will Turkey do, which actually shares a common border with Iran, and the government of which has stated that it will absolutely not observe the US boycott on Iranian oil?!?

I sincerely hope that someone in DC is losing sleep over this. It was NOT a tactic calculated to bring the Iranians to the negotiating table, after President Trump withdrew the US from the P5+1 agreement, which the IAEA, comprised of very bright people, said was working.

US Resisting Pushes by North, South Korea to End War

65 years after the 1953 armistice that stopped the open fighting of the Korean War, the nations involved still haven’t replaced it with a permanent peace treaty. This means that the Korean War is still technically ongoing, 68 years later. That’s apparently where the US intends for it to stay.

While North and South Korea have discussed deals to end the war, and the US nominally has given its imprimatur to the idea, US officials say that there is little interest in the Trump Administration to actually do this, with some seeing it as undermining their leverage against North Korea on denuclearization.

This would be a complicated matter this time, unlike the decades of previous US resistance to making peace with North Korea. That’s because now, South Korea is also on board for such a deal. In trying to delay such an important milestone, the US may be seen as obstructing diplomacy in general.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is where the current administration's logic breaks down completely; why would Kim Jung Un completely denuclearize, until he gets some concrete assurances regarding aid, trade, and an end to the armistice, which is simply, technically, a cessation of fighting, rather than a true, thoroughly spelled out peace deal?!?

A Meridian police officer has been fired after he was accused of using excessive force against a handcuffed man in the parking lot of a Walmart. This week, Police Chief Benny Dubose released the dash cam footage of the incident in the name of transparency.

The dash cam was released by the department to show why they fired officer Daniel Starks this week. The disturbing video shows the danger people are put in when dealing with police officers who lose their temper and become violent.

The incident began as police were responding to a call of a suspected shoplifter at Walmart. As the officer pulled the suspect over as he pulled out of the Walmart, the man complied without incident.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, white courtesy telephone, please!

Sir, as long as documented episodes of battering cuffed suspects (sometimes to death) continue to emerge from police dashcams, you cannot possibly stand there, with a straight face, at police officer gathers, with a straight face, and talk about a "war on cops", when the absolute converse, a war on American citizens, is precisely what is going on here.

After the liquidation of its US Treasury holdings, surging gold reserves, and switching to a non-SWIFT payment system, Russian President Putin attempted to quell general concerns noting that “Russia isn’t abandoning the dollar."

In a press conference this morning, the Russian president said his country doesn’t plan to abandon holding reserves in U.S. dollars though he said that the risk of sanctions is prompting Russia to diversify its foreign currency assets.

“Russia isn’t abandoning the dollar,” Putin said in answer to a question about the sharp decline in its holdings of U.S. Treasuries in April and May.

“We need to minimize risks, we see what’s happening with sanctions.”

”As for our American partners and the restrictions they impose involving the dollar,” he added,

“I think that is a major strategic mistake because they’re undermining confidence in the dollar as a reserve currency.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US and the EU continue punishing Russia for things it absolutely did not do, such as the "alleged" annexation of Crimea, which never happened; can you blame the guy for getting rid of American Treasury holdings right now, and looking for an alternative to the US dollar as a reserve currency?!?

I certainly cannot.

The U.S. mainstream press can easily recognize the dominant and influential role that the military plays in society, so long as they are referring to countries like Pakistan and Egypt. Unfortunately, the same reporters and commentators turn a blind eye to the similar phenomenon here in the United States.

For example, the Washington Post writes: “When not in power, [Pakistan’s generals] have exerted outsize control over foreign policy, the economy, and local politics.” The New York Timeswrites: “Even during civilian rule, the country’s generals have wielded enormous power, setting the agenda for the country’s foreign and security policies…. As prime minister, Mr. Sharif ran afoul of the military early on by trying to assert control over foreign and defense policy, which is seen as the army’s domain.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have found, in recent years, that it is very helpful to read both US independent media the foreign press in English, to even begin to get a small clue as to what the US government, and its security apparatus, is doing, and potentially why.

Don't listen to what is coming out of the box with the talking presstitutes and warmongers, feeding you lies; they are only telling you what the government has told them to tell you, to avoid looking at what is really going on, or why. This "engineered news" has been created to "sell" you an agenda, which forwards the government's actions or positions on certain issues, and avoid others.

And if you don't believe me, please ask yourself; why has there been utterly nothing stated by the presstitutes and warmongers about the US-enabled Saudi war crimes in Yemen?!?

This is what is being done to innocent Yemeni children, non-combatants, and the medically fragile elderly backed by your tax dollars, and in your name, people. (warning: horrifically graphic images)

Sorry, US alphabet soup agencies; as a Christian pacifist activist, who never advocates violence, it is my responsibility to witness to the evils which are being done in my name, and the names of my brother and sister Americans. These are war crimes, pure and simple, and there is no excuse for them.

And for those of you who are as troubled as I am, here is a list of your Congressional and Senatorial representives:

List Congressional and Senatorial Representatives

Kindly feel free to locate your Congressmen and Senator, and ask them, very politely, just what is going with Yemen, and when will US support for Prince Bin Salman's genocide against the Yemeni people end.

Let them know; YOU know what is happening here. And if they tell you that the most current defense budget addresses this,

Congress aims to stop arming terrorists, limit Yemen war involvement in Funding Bill
ask them, please, what effects this will practically have on the ground, particularly in light of President Trump's reworking of the Conventional Arms Transfer Treaty?

Experts fear US arms sales to human rights abusers will become easier thanks to a 'loophole' in Trump's new policy

Let them know, peacefully, quietly, and non-threateningly, that YOU know. And you don't want the US-enabling of Saudi war crimes in Yemen to continue, and if they choose to do nothing about it, they will lose their seats in the mid-terms, or whenever they next come up for re-election.

Feel free to forward this link, and these articles.

Trump vs. The Fed: America Sacrificed At The NWO Altar: by Brandon Smith

I do not know if the globalist script calls for Trump to go as far as shutting down the Fed completely, but rest assured if he does there will be hundreds of alternative analysts decreeing that it is irrefutable proof that Trump is not controlled opposition and he “must have a plan.” The actual plan will be the end of the dollar as the world reserve currency to make way for the global economic reset and a NWO currency framework, all in the name of stopping a catastrophe initiated by “evil conservative populists.”

Last October, four U.S. soldiers – including two commandos – were killed in an ambush in Niger. Since then, talk of U.S. special operations in Africa has centered on missions being curtailed and troop levels cut.

Press accounts have suggested that the number of special operators on the front lines has been reduced, with the head of U.S. Special Operations forces in Africa directing his troops to take fewer risks. At the same time, a “sweeping Pentagon review” of special ops missions on the continent may result in drastic cuts in the number of commandos operating there. U.S. Africa Command has apparently been asked to consider the impact on counterterrorism operations of cutting the number of Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and other commandos by 25 percent over 18 months and 50 percent over three years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The reason the US military is in Africa, is very fundamental; it involves the expropriation of natural resources, to which the US government has absolutely no moral right; the "pacification" of these countries' governments and people, and insuring that those resources are only purchased in US dollars.

I frankly don't think that is going to go away any time soon.

If we want to trace back the systemic instabilities and imbalances that culminated in China's revolution in 1949, we can start in 1900 with the Boxer Rebellion, which was itself a reaction to the Opium Wars of the 1840s that established Western influence and control in China.

But is this far enough back in time to understand the Communist Revolution in the 1940s? If we want a comprehensive understanding, we must go back to 1644 and the demise of the Ming Empire, and perhaps even farther back to the Mongol victory over the Song dynasties in the late 1200s.

Though The New York Times itself has not reported it, it’s No. 2 lawyer told a group of judges that the prosecution of Julian Assange could have dire consequences for the Times itself, explains Ray McGovern.

Well, lordy be. A lawyer for The New York Times has figured out that prosecuting WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange might gore the ox of The Gray Lady herself.

The Times’s deputy general counsel, David McCraw, told a group of judges on the West Coast on Tuesday that such prosecution would be a gut punch to free speech, according to Maria Dinzeo, writing for the Courthouse News Service.

Curiously, as of this writing, McCraw’s words have found no mention in the Times itself. In recent years, the newspaper has shown a marked proclivity to avoid printing anything that might risk its front row seat at the government trough.

Trump vs. The Fed: America Sacrificed At The NWO Altar

Make no mistake, what we are witnessing is 4th generation warfare on the public - All other wars including the trade war are kabuki theater designed to distract from this reality. Even a war between Trump and the Fed would be ultimately farcical as the globalists are already positioned to exploit the outcome of a failing dollar system. The goal? "Anthrax" Package Left For Maxine Waters, Office Evacuated

A suspicious package labeled "Anne Thrax" was left at the South Los Angeles office of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Portions of her two-story office building were evacuated as a hazmat crew investigated, and employees were allowed back inside after the package was reported safe. The LAPD Major Crimes Division has launched an investigation, according to spokesman Mike Lopez.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder: after the "flame-out" last week regarding the Oath-Keepers no show last Thursday, and her demonstrators burning an American flag; was this some kind of looney alt-right idea of a joke, or a pitiful bid for sympathy?!?

And then on Sunday, speaking at a Los Angeles Church, Congresswoman Waters declared that she was on a mission from God;

But she cannot outrun her moral responsibility for telling constituents and her Congressional buddies that they should "confront Trump Administration Officials".

Potential Impacts of the Yuan-Gold Peg

So again, let's be perfectly clear about this. Though other factors such as headlines and the dollar index can affect price on a minute-by-minute basis, the primary driver of the gold price in the summer of 2018 is the yuan-dollar exchange rate. Though the PBOC has long-maintained a "peg" in the relative valuation of the yuan versus the dollar, the past 90 days have seen a steady devaluation of this peg to the tune of nearly 8%.

Over that same time period, the price of COMEX gold has fallen by more than 10%:

This is not a correlation searching for a cause, nor is it a simple act of "traders" reacting to a falling yuan by selling digital gold. No, in a market the size of global gold, this type of sudden and direct correlation can only be accomplished through massive interventions, the size and scope of which is only possible at the state/sovereign level. And which state/sovereign would have a direct interest in linking the dollar price of gold to the yuan? China, of course.

Israel: A Lodestar State for the White Nationalist Movement

“I have great admiration for Israel’s nation-state Law. Jews are, once again, at the vanguard, rethinking politics and sovereignty for the future, showing a path forward for Europeans.” – Richard Spencer, poster boy for the ‘Alt-Right’ and White Nationalist Movement.

The aforementioned statement, sent out by Spencer as a tweet on July 21st, was made in response to the passage through the Israeli Knesset of the Basic Law on Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People. It was his acknowledgement of Israel’s formal declaration of itself to be a racialist, ethno-state.

It is important to clarify what the primary objective of Political Zionism was from the outset: This was to found a Jewish state centered in Palestine to the exclusion of all other races and religions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this law becomes the clarion call for ultra-rightists and the white nationalist movement in the US, it looks as though Israel's "nation-State law" is already having some very serious unintended consequences.

Palestinian child killings spike in 2018

Israeli occupation forces raiding a refugee camp in the West Bank shot a 14-year-old boy in the chest, killing him, on Monday.

Arkan Thaer Halami Mizher was wounded as residents of Dheisheh camp near the city of Bethlehem confronted raiding soldiers.

“Israeli forces closed the main road, preventing ambulances from reaching the area,” Defense for Children International Palestine stated. The boy was taken in a private car to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Such raids are commonplace throughout the West Bank.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel's being the "assassination nation" of the Middle East puts the lie to its alleged existence as a democracy; the two are mutually exclusive.

Is Bill Browder the Most Dangerous Man in the World?

Bill Browder is what used to be referred to as an oligarch, having set up shop in 1999 as Hermitage Capital Management Fund, a hedge fund registered in tax havens Guernsey and the Cayman Islands. It focused on “investing” in Russia, taking advantage initially of the loans-for-shares scheme under Russia’s drunkard President Boris Yeltsin, and then continuing to profit greatly during the early years of Vladimir Putin. By 2005 Hermitage was the largest foreign investor in Russia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Corruption; money laundering, making false declarations on official documents; what a perfect poster child for the Democrats!!

Trump Says Ready to Make ‘A Real Deal’ With Iran

During his speech in Kansas City on Tuesday, President Trump said he is “ready to make a real deal” with Iran, adding that “Iran is not the same country anymore.” He also said this new deal would not be like the “disaster” deal made by the Obama Administration.

The statement comes just two days after President Trump’s bellicose Tweet threatening Iran with “consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before.” Speculation was that this was an attempt to replicate the US strategy in North Korea, where threats were followed with successful diplomacy.

Yet Iran and North Korea are clearly dramatically different situations, not the least of which because Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons, or a nuclear arms program to dismantle. Willingness to negotiate at all with Iran is a substantial difference in Trump Administration position, however.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, I would like to politely suggest, that there is no "deal" you can offer Iran with which to replace the P5+1; they are not going to give up their missile program, and are continuing nuclear enrichment under the supvervision of the IAEA June, 2018: Iran to inform IAEA of Start of Process o Boost Uranium Enrichment Capacity

You have told the world that the "drop dead date" for them to purchase Iranian crude is 4 November of this year. Trump Demands World Stop Buying Iranian Oil by 4 November, 2018, or face economic sanctions

The timing of your deadline is the Sunday before mid-term elections in this country, Tuesday, 6 November; but what if most of the world disregards your sanctions, as it appears China is set to do?!?

Are you going to declare war on every nation on earth which does not comply with your demand?!?

Will November 5th, be a day of a decap strike against Tehran, to show Irael, the US, and the world, how completely "butch" you are in terms of imposing regime change in Iran?!?

And what happens, sir, if there is a joint US/Israeli strike against Iran, but Russia comes into the fray on Iran's side?!?

I would like to hope, sir, that there is someone in your Administration who has thought all the above scenarios through to their logical conclusions; risking war with both Iran, and Russia, because it is you who has pulled the US out of the P5+1 deal, demonstrates neither sound, nor logical thinking, and potentially puts you... and this Administration... between Iran and a hard place.

Americans Ready to Welcome Putin, But Congress Won’t

US media coverage suggests hostility toward diplomatic engagement with Russia as a matter of course. A new HarrisX poll, however, suggests that this is not the view of the majority of the American public, with 54% approving of President Trump inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to the White House for a second summit.

The first summit, held earlier this month in Helsinki, was seemingly successful, despite it being followed by negative media coverage and attacks from lawmakers in both parties. Trump followed this up by inviting Putin for a second summit, this time in the US.

American public support for such a summit doesn’t extend to Congress, however. On Tuesday, Congressional leadership announced that even if Putin does come to the White House, he will not be invited to address Congress or visit the Capitol building.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The warmongers and Deep Staters will do anything they think they can get away with, to prevent a peace deal between the US and Russia.

And BTW, where is there concrete, and irrefutable proof, that Russia interfered with the 2016 elections?!? An alleged "bipartisan consensus" does not create facts on the ground.

IF such evidence cannot be presented, it absolutely does not exist, period, end of discussion.

Online censorship is a WAR against human knowledge and sustainable civilization

Humanity is under assault, and it’s the radical left-wing tech giants who are burning all the books, destroying nations and putting the very sustainability of human civilization at risk. Water Facility Attack Cuts Off 10,500 People From Safe Drinking Water in Yemen

An attack, carried out this week on the Nushour water facility in Yemen’s northwestern city of Sa’dah, cut off 10,500 people, including over 5,000 children, from safe drinking water, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Tuesday.

According to the fund, this has been the third attack on the facility since this March.

"UNICEF deplores in the strongest terms yet another attack on vital and lifesaving water systems in Yemen. A large water facility in Sa’ada, northwest of the country, came under attack this week. This is the third such attack on the same facility. More than half of the project is now damaged, cutting off 10,500 people from safe drinking water," a UNICEF report quoted Geert Cappelaere, the UNICEF Regional Director in the Middle East and North Africa.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ah, but you see, this is precisely the consequence the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Bin Salman, wants to see happen here: and the US military is enabling his war crimes in Yemen.

I would strongly suggest tht upon his demise, that there is a very special place in hell, waiting for him.

With more cholera and other water-borne diseases infesting Yemen's water, leading to more starvations and deaths, the fewer bombs and bullets will be needed to kill off more Yemeni children and innocent civilians : that is absolutely the math here.

And here is what this war looks like from the Yemeni side, and what is being done to the Yemeni people in your names, and with your tax dollars, please look at the following images: (warning: very graphic)

Images: Yemeni children killed or maimed for life, Courtesy of Saudi boming runs

Images: Yemeni children starving to death, courtesy of Saudi port blockade

Doesn't this just make you proud to be an American, whose government participates in war crimes in Yemen?!?

Two Districts in Southeast Afghanistan Fall to Taliban

Taliban fighters have overrun two districts in the southeastern province of Paktika, on the border with Pakistan, officials said Tuesday as heavy fighting continued across Afghanistan.

Local officials said Taliban fighters began attacking security checkpoints and the centers of Omna and Gayan districts in Paktika on Sunday, forcing Afghan security forces in the area to pull out, leaving large quantities of weapons and equipment.

"After almost two days of heavy fighting, Taliban captured both district centers," provincial council member Fazel Rahman Katawazi said, adding that three members of the Afghan security forces were killed and a number of others injured.

The Taliban have taken a series of district centers this year, many of which have been subsequently retaken by Afghan security forces, which control areas with around two-thirds of the country's population.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Roughly stable", General Nicholson, MY ASTROLABE!!!!

Sir, respectfully, the US and NATO forces are continuing to get clobbered, and 17 years on, the Afghani people have not been "pacified".

This will only happen when the US and NATO joint command simply carpet bomb the country, and kill millions; we both know that this will not happen: the optics would simply be too horrific (although I would imagine that such an attack may well have been discussed.)

IF US officials and the NATO High Command had two braincells to rub together, they would withdraw US and NATO soldiers out of the country as rapidly as was safely possible, then negotiate with whatever government was left standing in Kabul for the pipeline, rare earth, and opium poppy rights.

Unfortunately, of course, such a plan... would be logical, and therefore would be rejected immediately.

How many Afghanis, US and NATO troops are going to have to continue to die because of this prolonged barbaric stupidity, which is getting the US and NATO no where near their actual goals of resource expropriation in Afghanistan than they were 17 years ago, when Bush had the country invaded?!?!?

Pro-EU crowd braces as Bannon unveils right-wing counterpart to Soros’ foundation

Steve Bannon’s idea to set up a Soros-styled NGO to prop up Europe’s right-wing parties has caused quite a stir among liberals and the left, who rushed to accuse the former Trump advisor of planning an “attack on democracy.”
Bannon’s new non-profit organization, blandly dubbed ‘The Movement’ is set to establish itself in Brussels and would bring together right-wing parties from across Europe. The former chief advisor of Donald Trump unveiled the plan last week, seeking to provide like-minded parties with the support of think tanks, the organization of polls and valuable insights on data-targeting.

Member of the European Parliament from Germany and center-left politician Udo Bullmann branded Bannon’s idea “an attack on freedom and democracy in Europe,” vowing a “response’ to his initiative. Renata Alt from Germany’s Free Democrats Party, for her part, described the plan to establish The Movement as a “frontal attack on the EU and European values.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that the Eurocrats are shaking in their boots over this, and will attempt to do anything to shut Bannon up.

And the reason they are describing The Movement as a “frontal attack on the EU and European values”, is that there are many in Europe who are tired and outraged at the horrific costs, both personal and financial, which unfettered immigration has created in Europe.

For heavens' sake, Sweden has had to start a program to teach immigrants not to rape Sweden's women!!Sweden investing millions to teach immigrants not to rape

There is no upside to unfettered, unchecked immigration; and many times, these people were promised what host countries could not possibly deliver.

I do, however, have a modest proposal for George Soros, Mr. Open Borders; sir, you own properties all over the world; why not have Europe resettle ALL of these immigrants on your properties?!? THAT would sort it, wouldn't it?!?!

OF course, the US stopping the wars from which these migrants are fleeing would be the logical step here; but don't expect that to happen until the moment when when pigs discover they are aerodynamic.

US signs new contract for Javelin anti-tank missile systems production for Ukraine

The US Department of Defense announced signing an over $307.5 million contract for the production of Javelin anti-tank missile systems for a number of foreign countries, including Ukraine.

Department of State spokesperson Heather Nauert
US takes decision to supply lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine
"Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin JV, Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a $307,535,950 modification… to Foreign Military Sales (Australia, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey Taiwan and Ukraine) contract… for Javelin Weapon System full-rate production," the US Department of Defense said in a statement.

In late April, a spokesperson for the US Department of State confirmed that the US administration had sent a first batch of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to the Ukrainian authorities.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) President Trump, a word, please, sir; with things as completely volatile and messed up as they are in Ukraine, the last thing the Poroshenko government needs right now are more weapons, and the first thing you should be doing is sending your top negotiators to Ukraine for negotiations between the breakaway republics, Ukraine, and Russia itself.

If you are willing to listen to people who will tell you the truth here, this situation has utterly no military solution whatsoever, and sending more weapons here is like setting a match to dry tinder.

China, Bhutan Resume Border Talks a Year After Doklam Spat Involving India

China and Bhutan share a 470 kilometer long border. Territorial disputes have been a source of potential conflict, the most contested area being the Doklam plateau, where China allegedly tried to build a road last year, resulting in military intervention by India, Bhutan’s all-weather friend.

New Delhi (Sputnik): China and Bhutan have discussed the border issue at length during a three day trip of Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou to the Himalayan nation, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, which has claimed that China holds its traditional friendship with Bhutan in high regard.

"Both sides should continue to promote border talks, abide by the principles and consensus already reached, and jointly protect peace and tranquillity in the border region to create positive conditions for a final resolution," the Chinese Foreign Ministry statement cited Kong as saying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a positive development between two nuclear-armed nations; let us hope it bears fruit.

The last thing this planet needs... is a nuclear conflict between China and India.

Yesterday we saw a third attempt by Israel to pretend that Russia had offered or made a deal to counter 'Iranian presence':

A senior political source participated in the meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem Sunday evening.
"It was made clear again that we would not accept Iranian consolidation in Syria, not near the border, and not in the 100-kilometer strip that the Russians are talking about and committing to," the senior official said. "We said that there is long-range weapons placed beyond this area and all these forces have to leave Syria. Russia has considerable capabilities to deal with this, because it is a very significant factor within Syria."

A former school groundskeeper in California testified Monday in a landmark lawsuit claiming that repeated exposure to Monsanto's popular Roundup weedkiller caused his terminal cancer.

"I would never have sprayed the product around school grounds or around people if I thought it would cause them harm," the 46-year-old Dewayne "Lee" Johnson told the San Francisco Superior Court jury, as quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle. "They deserve better."

Dewayne Johnson v. Monsanto Company is considered a "bellwether" case. If Johnson is successful, it could open the door for roughly 4,000 other similar lawsuits against Monsanto. Conversely, if he loses, it could discourage the other cases.

The plaintiffs claim that exposure to Monsanto's glyphosate-based herbicide caused them or their loved ones to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). The lawsuits also allege that the company suppressed scientific evidence related to the health risks of its weedkillers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Of course, Monsanto has "morphed" into Bayer through their recent merger:
Bayer Monsanto Merger in Landmark Settlement

IF this lawsuit is successful, I have to wonder if the newly merged entity will be held harmless and indemnified for any injuries Monsanto created with the widespread use of Glyphosate; that's one way corporations absolve themselves of any responsibilities for injuries their prodcucts cause, and the timing of this merger could well be engineered to prevent damages from this, and other lawsuits probably to follow.

The United States Army is preparing for decades of hybrid wars across multiple domains - space, cyberspace, air, land, and, maritime. Back in October, we examined the Army’s latest Training and Doctrine Command report, which highlights how the next round of hybrid wars could begin somewhere around 2025 and last through 2040.

Currently, the Army is in a transitional period [quiet period] before the next round of wars start. President Trump has infused the Pentagon with more than $700 billion this fiscal year, in the attempt to plug significant gaps and expand emerging technologies. For instance, the Army has made it clear that it will replace its three decades old M249 light machine gun and the Colt M4 Modular Weapon System Carbine, with a lightweight and higher chamber pressure assault rifle.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If ever a country needed a Department of Peace, and right the heck now, it is the Unhinged, Survielled State of America!

My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.”

– Barack Obama to bank CEOs in 2009 (he sure protected them)

I’m only half kidding with the title here. No, I don’t think establishment Democrats are actually trying to lose, but I agree with the sentiment that they’d rather continue to lose to Donald Trump with someone like Hillary Clinton, than win with someone like Bernie Sanders.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Tom Perez, Chair of the DNC, a word here, please.

The Democratic Party desperately needs an "emergency clintonectomy".

Her sense of entitlement; her and her husband's massive corruption, vis a vis the Clinton Foundation; and her nearly pathological unrelatability to average voters are issues which will not fundamentally change for the 2020 election.
Even the massive "magical thinking" of every great mind in your brain trust, cannot make those changes happen.

Oh, and BTW, why did she think it was perfectly acceptible to pose in front of the White House Christmas Tree with convicted drug felon, Jorge Cabrera?!?

Images: Hillary Clinton, posing with known Drug Felon Jorge Cabrera

So, here's the direction you should be going; and she (yes, SHE) walks among you right the heck now.

Her name, and it is one with which I trust you are familiar, and that is Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, from Hawaii.

She is a quite a quadruple threat for 2020. She is very bright and articulate; She is a minority (Samoan-American), a Veteran, and someone who is pro-peace.

And trust me, Tom, if what is about to go down between now and the end of the year which I see going down (a major war against Iran, which will probably mean war with Russia), perhaps right before the mid-terms in 2018, the Democrats are going to DESPERATELY need a pro-peace candidate with both smarts and miitary experience to save this country from itself.

Please remember; the "drop dead date" President Trump has given countries around the world to stop buying oil from Iran is 4 November.

President Trump Gives the World the Deadline of 4 November to stop buying Iranian crude oil

Tom, please, tell me you understand that date was not accidental; The 4th is a Sunday, and mid-terms are on the 6th.

So, sir, the choice is very clear; will you trot out your two-time loser, Clinton, or choose someone who can bring the party together, with strong integrity and clear definition?!?

A messy, no-deal Brexit could throw 48 million insurance contracts and £26 trillion ($34 trillion) of derivatives deals into confusion. Nausicaa Delfas, head of international strategy at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), told delegates at a CityUK and Bloomberg event that there were “cliff-edge” risks due to uncertainty over the legality of financial contracts extending beyond the planned Brexit date, in March.

The UK government has already passed regulations that would allow European banks and insurers to maintain their UK operations under current rules after Brexit. So far, the EU has refused to reciprocate, even on a temporary basis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This could get economically very nasty, and far before the March deadline.

Cause of USA Meltdown and Collapse of Civil Rights

The USA meltdown has been decades in the making and is the collateral result of an elite predation that has degraded structural elements needed for a healthy and resilient nation.

The aftermath is “too much regulation at the bottom, not enough at the top”: a pathological legislative and institutional structure in which elite interests have too much freedom to challenge and exploit democratic nation states, whereas middle, working and professional class actors, including small and medium-size private business, are economically, ideologically and politically constrained and suppressed to an excessive degree.

Carter Page Says Clinton Campaign Was Spreading Rumors of Russian Collusion Months Before Dossier Surfaced (VIDEO)

Carter Page went on with Tucker Carlson on Monday to discuss the release of the FISA court documents used to spy on the Trump campaign.

Carter Page was spied on by the Obama regime despite never even meeting the Russian officials he was accused of dealing with in the junk Steele dossier.

Carter Page: It’s funny in July of 2016, two months before the Yahoo news article came out I started getting these calls from various news reporters, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, all asking me about these same two names of people I’ve never even heard of, I’ve heard of Sachin, I never even heard of (Igor) Diveykin. So it was obvious. Some people told me from the media they heard it from the Clinton campaign, etc.

Carter Page denied this weekend that he ever discussed lifting Western sanctions with Igor Sachin, a high ranking Russian official. Page never even met the guy. But he was spied on anyway by the criminal Obama regime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At the end of the day, President Obama will go down in history as one of the most treacherous presidents in this country's history, and very much a practitioner of the "Politics of Personal Destruction", about which, I am sure he learned very much from Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The Expansion of U.S. Military Installations in Argentina and Their Implications for Argentine Sovereignty

A number of US military bases have been established throughout Argentina since the election of president Macri.

In early 2018, Macri’s government also approved the construction of another American military base in the province of Misiones. This is a highly strategic position because the province is situated in the tri-border area (TBA) of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, which contains the Guaraní Aquifer, the largest subterranean drinkable and renewable fresh water reserve in the world. Specifically, of the 1.2 million square kilometers of land containing the Guarani Aquifer, 850,000 square kilometers are in Brazil’s territory, 225,000 square kilometers are in Argentina, 70,000 square kilometers are in Paraguay, and 25,000 square kilometers are in Uruguay.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, let me get this straight: the President of Argentina is refusing to have legal protocol observed, and have the Argentinian Congress approve of these US bases?!?

Betraying the President. Trump Attacked by American Political and Academic Community over Helsinki Summit

The American press, who consider themselves to be the freest and most professional journalists in the world, continue their race to the bottom. First they humiliated their own president and country (there’s no other way to say it) during the Helsinki summit itself. Rather than asking about the most important issues on the global agenda, they were only interested in Russia’s interference in the American election. I guess that superpower has no other problems that are worth discussing with Russia (such as North Korea’s nuclear ambitions, Iran’s growing power in the Middle East, the failure to contain China, the collapse of the transatlantic alliance, or the inability to palm Ukraine off onto another financial sponsor), other than Moscow’s alleged influence on the US 2016 election.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Helsinki demonstrated, as if any demonstration was necessary, that the alleged "press" in this country is simply a megawarmonger, and thorougly owned by the deep state, and the military industrial complex.

As I mentioned in a previous article I posted today, "Was Reagan a Traitor?", this happens to every President, no matter the party, when they attempt something approximating raprochement with Russia.

I would like to hope that the American people are war-weary, and much more war-skeptical than when Bush went into Afghanistan and Iraq; however, sometimes, the "sound-bite ready" naivete of my brother and sister Americans can be... breathtaking.

Does Living Near a Nuclear Plant Give Children Cancer?

More than 60 studies have shown increases of childhood leukemia around nuclear facilities worldwide. Despite this finding, there has never been independent analysis in the US examining connections between childhood cancer and nuclear facilities. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) had tasked the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) to conduct such a study, but then withdrew funding, claiming publicly that it would be too expensive.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The NRC withdrew the money for NAS study, because they probably already knew what a proper scientific study would reveal.

This means that the NRC is "cherry picking" its information, to make sure that nothing contradicts it's suspiciously "soft science" here.
