After 36-Day Student Occupation, University Of California At Davis Chancellor Is Put On Leave

This week, University of California President Janet Napolitano placed the chancellor of University of California, Davis, Linda Katehi, on investigatory administrative leave, pending an investigation into a number of infractions, including her decision to spend at least $175,000 to try to scrub the internet of criticism following the 2011 pepper-spraying of student protesters by campus police. The school made national headlines after the video showing police spraying seated students directly in the face at close range went viral.

Town Passes Law to Use Cops to Combat Bullying by Going After the Parents

By Matt Agorist

...In the past, if a fight were to break out at school, or a child would be caught bullying another child, the teachers, and in some cases, the students would rush in to stop it. In fact, studies show that bullying situations are resolved the majority of the time when a peer intervenes on behalf of the student being bullied.

However, in modern-day police state USA, normal childhood behavior is now dealt with using police action...

Princeton's Neighbors Say to Heck With Freebies -- We Want Cash

Free lectures, admission to athletic games and concerts, even shuttles to Trader Joe’s are some of the perks that neighbors of Princeton University get from New Jersey’s only Ivy League school.

A growing number of residents, though, resent the gestures. Riding a national wave of discontent with nonprofit institutions, they’re suing to challenge the tax-exempt status of Princeton, whose $22.7 billion endowment makes it the fourth-richest U.S. university. The outcome could cut homeowners’ annual property taxes, averaging $17,699, by a third. It also could end the freebies that make Princeton a cushy oasis while other New Jersey towns, burdened by high public-worker costs and flat state aid, struggle to maintain basic services.

Texas Middle School Students Suspended for Two Days for Taking Confederate Flag Selfies

Seven middle school students have been suspended for two days for taking a picture of themselves with a Confederate flag.

Andrew Birdwell, who thinks his son was motivated to take the picture because the students are currently learning whatever version of Civil War history that school decides to teach its students, was told by school officials that his son did not say any "hateful language," so the suspension was due solely to taking the picture.

History is being warped and sanitized in our public schools to fit a politically correct agenda, cursing our nation's students to be dumbed down from being able to actually draw anything from its lessons.

“It was kind of tough for me to explain why he’s getting assignments from school with a Confederate flag on it, yet he can’t hold one,” Birdwell said.

U.S. high school seniors slip in math and show no improvement in reading

The nation’s high school seniors have shown no improvement in reading achievement and their math performance has slipped since 2013, according to the results of a test administered by the federal government last year.

The results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress, or NAEP, also show a longer-term stagnation in 12th-grade performance in U.S. public and private schools: Scores on the 2015 reading test have dropped five points since 1992, the earliest year with comparable scores, and are unchanged in math during the past decade.

“These numbers are not going the way we want,” said William J. Bushaw, executive director of the National Assessment Governing Board, an independent panel established by Congress to oversee NAEP policy. “We have to redouble our efforts to prepare our students.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks like the "Common Core" system of education has REALLY done its job, preventing kids from both learning and critical thinking.!!

Censored, Surveilled, Watch Listed and Jailed: The Absurdity of Being a Citizen in the American Police State

snip: While this may sound like a riff on a bad joke, it’s a bad joke with “we the people” as the punchline. Yet it is no laughing matter that Americans are being jailed for growing orchids, feeding whales, collecting rainwater, and praying in their backyards. There is nothing humorous about Americans having their families terrorized by SWAT teams, their pets killed, their children shot, their homes trashed and their privacy shredded. And there’s really not much comic relief to be found when the citizenry is forced to pay their own government to jail, spy on, censor, terrorize and kill them.

Hellstorm at The Myrtle Beach International Film Festival

On a nice, warm Saturday afternoon a good crowd had gathered at Broadway Cinemas in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We were there to watch Hellstorm, a documentary by Kyle Hunt and Tom Goodrich, illustrating the horrific and oftentimes unimaginable treatment of the German people after World War II.

As well done as the film is, it is certainly not for the faint-hearted, but nonetheless it is still imperative for every person of European descent to see this for it gives us a glimpse of what could happen if the Jews have their way and do successfully implement their New World Order.

N-Georgia U student Pro-Abortion activists sinking ever lower

Students at the University of North Georgia reportedly laughed last week as they broke the heads off cookies depicting babies in the womb, which were a part of a pro-abortion display created by the campus atheist club.

Photos of the display posted online show containers of the cookies, some of them with their heads broken off, surrounded by signs that read “abortion should remain legal because…” Students wrote in their own reasons, such as “a woman controls her own body” and the grotesque “my v*gina is too pretty to let a fetus crawl out.”

Is it not enough that these children are being exterminated? Is it not enough that this industry of murder is attacking the most helpless in our society? But now, these wicked people, in a foolish gesture to impress their wicked friends are mocking their deaths.

Israel - Map Censorship

What is the difference between a textbook publisher giving into pressure from Christian fundamentalists seeking to censor the teaching of evolution, and a publisher giving in to Zionists seeking to censor awareness of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine? Neither phenomenon is a matter of opinion or perspective. One act of censorship denies facts established by scientific research. The other denies the documented violation of international law (for instance, the Fourth Geneva Convention) and multiple UN resolutions. So the answer to the question just asked is – there is no difference.

PRISON DEBATE TEAM WHO BEAT HARVARD, WINS AGAIN, THIS TIME AGAINST WEST POINT MILITARY ACADEMY

The Bard Prison Initiative debate team who famously defeated Harvard College students last October put another notch in their belt. This time, in poetic fashion, the prison inmates bested students at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Members of the Bard team, all inmates at a maximum security prison, are enrolled in a college program at the Eastern New York Correctional Facility. They go through a competitive screening process to get there, joining about 1,000 others who made the cut.

Their winning streak in debate demonstrates the cognitive potential that exists in the massive U.S. prison system. This is what motivates the Bard Prison Initiative, which is funded mostly through private donations. Graduates of their college program have an astonishingly low 2 percent rate of recidivism.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This begs the question: what should have been done by the alleged educational facilities these kids attended which could have possibly kept these people from going to prison?!?

Unfortunately, the American system of "justice" rewards institutions which don't work, because it keeps recidivism high, and that means more funds for the prison/industrial complex.

And that complex, by the name of UNICOR, turns out an unbelievable array of products, sold primarily to Federal agencies, including: books for the blind; lingerie; park benches and picnic tables; military jackets and battle garb; human silhouette targets; baseball caps; and blue jeans.

And think about it; in Sweden, they are closing their prisons because their program is 100% rehabilitation, which enables people who have served their time to rejoin the community effectively, and recidivism is in single digits.

Why do American voters keep putting up with what fails utterly, and doesn't work at all in its prison systems?!?

THAT is a mystery, and the success of this debate team proves it.

“SMILE IN MY FACE ONE MORE TIME!” COP TERRORIZES CHILD ON SCHOOL BUS FOR NOT WORSHIPPING HIM

A student on a bus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania caught a cop on video angrily berating a kid for smiling. The incident highlights the modern reality in public schools where blue-clad soldiers of law with badges and guns are a normal, everyday presence.

In the video, uploaded to Facebook, an unidentified police officer stalks down the aisle of the bus, directing his rage at a student in the back who performed the outrageous act of smiling.

“You think you’re funny…you think you’re funny.”

As he reaches the student, the cop leans over the boy and says, “Smile in my face one more time, I’m gonna drag your ass off this bus and back to that fucking police car.”

The student is not in view of the camera, but can be heard saying, “Alright, alright.”

“Don’t smile one more time!” the cop says as he leaves the bus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The contemporary school experience is not at all focused on learning, but submission to authority, no matter how much emotional and physical pain and violence that produces.

If you want your child to really be educated, take them out of the public school, and home school them.

If you live in a state that is anti-home schooling, move to a state where this is a respected alternative.

School districts are paid by the State and Federal government based on the number of students in their district; disable the funding through keeping kids safe and home schooled.

If that will not work, find a private school, or a magnet school in your area with a reputation for turning out kids who have the skills to make them competitive in later life.

Not only do your kid's educational lives depend on this;but also, the future of our society, as a place where critical thinking, and good decision making, are encouraged.

THE REVOLT OF THE DEBT SLAVES HAS STARTED

If we could just get consumers to borrow more so that they spend money they don’t have on things they don’t need in order to boost GDP and corporate profits, all would be fine. That’s the current meme among economists. Since 68.5% of US GDP is related to personal consumption expenditures, boosting consumer spending is seen as crucial. Since wages at the lower 75% are crummy and have not been rising enough to keep up with inflation, the only other way to prod consumers into spending more is to bamboozle them into borrowing more and blowing this moolah instantly.

UC DAVIS PAID $175,000 OR MORE TO SCRUB POLICE PEPPER SPRAY INCIDENT FROM WEB SEARCHES

After a police officer pepper-sprayed UC Davis students in a widely reported 2011 incident, the California university contracted with SEO consultants for $175,000 (or maybe more) to scrub unfavorable online items about the incident and boost online reputations of both the university and Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi.

The Sacramento Bee reported on the SEO scandal, and based their story on documents newly released in response to requests filed last month under the California Public Records Act.

In January 2013, UC Davis contracted a Maryland firm, Nevins & Associates, for a six-month contract that paid $15,000 a month. Nevins was the first of many "reputation management firms" paid off by the university administrators. And that payment was just the start.

According to Eubanks, the education/indoctrination plan she is mapping has to do with removing “the transmission of knowledge” from the education process entirely & instead “incepting” emotional imagery into the unconscious.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Common Core is an absolute disaster, because critical thinking is denied, and logic, and intelligent questioning, is suppressed.

If Mike and I had children, I would make sure that we lived in a state where home schooling was allowed, because I completely doubt the ability of public schools to turn kids into anything else but sniveling, compliant drones, just educated enough for whatever jobs were left in this country, and never questioning public policy in any depth.

COMMON CORE, K-12 SCHOOLING, & HOW TO TURN CHILDREN INTO REAL ESTATE

In Finland teachers are the most trusted and admired professionals next to doctors, in part because they are required to have a master’s degree in education with specialisation in research and classroom practice. “Our mission as adults is to protect our children from politicians,” one Finnish childhood education professor told me.

Water systems across New Mexico reveal high levels of lead

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Water systems across the state are turning up with hazardous levels of lead.
This guy thinks lead is okay!

David Dolldolldoll • 6 hours ago
I know someone who is actively working in the mass spec labs to analyze this lead problem, and he reassured it's not that dangerous. Must of it is lead sulphates which are not toxic. Lead ions are toxic. This has been known for years, and I think it's just a sensationalized news article on a slow news day.

Already Under Crushing Debt, Arizona College Forces Students to “Fund Illegal Immigrants”

Will students at colleges across the country soon be forced to pay for the higher education of illegal immigrants, even as most will already have to struggle for years to repay expensive and burdensome student loans?

“It is beyond absurd that this college is going to force all the students to subsidize the education of a student who is in the country illegally,” added Jessica Vaughn, director of policy studies for the Center for Immigration Studies.

“At a time when student loan debt is over $1 trillion it is irresponsible for Prescott College to offer this privilege at the expense of other students,” Andrew Kloster, a legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Legal & Judicial Studies

The Wars in Our Schools

Politicians and the school boards, time and again, claim their school systems are broke. No money for books, teacher's salaries and pensions, healthy lunches, etc. And yet, in 2015, the U.S. spent $598 billion on the military. That's nearly 10 times what it spent on education.

Capitalism vs. Free Enterprise

Capitalism gives special government-supported benefits to capital and those with capital (wealthy individuals, families and business entities).
This is the opposite of socialism, which promotes special government-supported benefits to those without capital—the proletariat, as Karl Marx put it.
In contrast to both capitalism and socialism, free enterprise establishes good laws and government policies that treat the rich, middle and poor the same.
Some people may believe that this is the system we live under in the United States today—that the law treats all the same.
Such an assumption is incorrect.

How Much White Privilege Do You Have? Take This Survey Handed out to Florida 7th Graders to Find Out

What exactly that survey has to do with learning middle school-level Spanish is unclear.

The social engineering in America’s public schools is being taken to a dangerous level that should motivate parents of all students, regardless of race or gender, want to homeschool.

It's On! American Institute of Architects to Hear New WTC 7 Resolution by 97 Architects

WE’RE BACK!

97 Architects Submit Resolution to be Voted on at
AIA National Convention

Our Most Important Campaign of the Year!

We did it again. I, along with 96 other AE911Truth petition signers who are members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), have sponsored a bold resolution that calls upon the AIA to officially support a new WTC 7 investigation.

Yesterday the AIA released its Official Delegate Information Booklet. Our resolution, number 16-3 on page 36, is one of just three that will be voted on.

Unlike last year’s resolution, this one contains three pages of powerful evidence upon which we're basing our call for a new investigation. At least 1,000 AIA members — if not more — will lay eyes on it in the next six weeks.
