Russian plane crash in Sinai: Flight recorders reveal ‘unusual sounds’ moment before jet disappeared

The disappearance of the Russian airliner which crashed in Sinai on Saturday was preceded by sounds in the cockpit “uncharacteristic of a standard flight”, according to Russian media.

The Interfax news agency quoted officials in Cairo as providing a first insight into audio recordings from the Airbus 321’s “black box” recorders.

They reported that after a period of routine discussions between crew members, “the recordings show sounds uncharacteristic of a standard flight precede the moment of the airliner’s disappearance”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, something altered the plane's flight characteristics, but did not produce an explosive sound which would have been captured on the recorder before the sounds "uncharacteristic of a standard flight."

Recall that the altitude data provided by showed a sudden climb preceding the dive. This and the recorded sounds would suggest that the tail of the aircraft started to separate, starting at the bottom of the fuselage. This would lower the angle of attack of the horizontal stabilizers, which in turn would cause the aircraft to climb. The added turbulence from the out-of-alignment empennage would account for the sound.

Fatigue Crack Might Be Cause of Deadly A321 Crash in Egypt

"I saw the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) is somewhere in the desert, separated from the main wreckage, and you can see a clear cut, as if this part was separated from the aircraft like by a saw.. So it’s definitely not a sign of an explosion. It could be a fatigue crack," Karel Mundel, a Czech pilot employed by the Airbus Company, stated after watching a video of an aerial view of the wreckage of the plane.

Russian plane 'broke up in air' before Sinai crash

Russian aviation official says inspection of wreckage in Egypt shows plane broke apart but this does not necessarily indicate bomb.

Russia’s transport safety watchdog, Rostransnadzor, said it had ordered the Kogalymavia airline, which is also known as Metrojet, to ground its fleet of Airbus A321s until the cause of the disaster was established, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Russians get the benefit of the doubt here, because from Russia's point of view, the plane being brought down by ISIS justifies escalation of Russia's activities in Iraq and Syria.

Satellite Shows Heat Flash When Russian Metrojet Plane Crashed, But No Missile: U.S. Officials

A senior defense official told NBC News late Monday that an American infrared satellite detected a heat flash at the same time and in the same vicinity over the Sinai where the Russian passenger plane crashed.

According to the official, U.S. intelligence analysts believe it could have been some kind of explosion on the aircraft itself, either a fuel tank or a bomb, but that there's no indication that a surface-to-air missile brought the plane down.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As this article points out, the exploding aircraft itself would produce a heat flash, but the propaganda push is still towards act of terror, both to bolster the war fever and (from Metrojet's point of view) block potential liability and negligence lawsuits. At that point in its flight, the aircraft would have still had half of its fuel load still in the tanks.

Funny how quickly we get the black box and satallite data as compared with MH17, isn't it?

BEX ALERT - Horror at 30,000ft and how Putin's playing a ruthless game in the Middle East that should terrify the West

Vladimir Putin’s Syrian soap opera has filled Russian television screens for weeks. The sight of sophisticated missiles smashing into terrorist hide-outs has sent the Russian leader’s popularity soaring to previously unseen heights.

Now, reality is intruding. The crash of Flight 7K9268 — with an onboard bomb planted by supporters of the so-called Islamic State as the most likely cause — highlights the potential cost of Russia’s interference in the Middle Eastern powder-keg.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The flight data recorder says there was no outside impact and so far no explosive residue has been found on the plane, but the corporate media is pushing ISIS terrorism and as was the case with MH370, dropping the blame on Putin!

The nature of passengers’ injuries from the Russian jet that crashed in Egypt’s Sinai on Saturday may indicate that an explosion took place aboard before the plane hit the ground, an Egyptian doctor who examined the bodies said, Sputnik news agency reported.

Heat flash over Sinai prior to Russian plane crash reportedly detected by US satellite

Just before a Russian passenger airliner crashed in Egypt’s Sinai on Saturday, a US infrared satellite reportedly detected a heat flash in the same vicinity, indicating that an explosion may have happened on board.

The US intelligence community believes that a fuel tank or bomb may have been the source of the heat signature, NBC News reported. The same satellite ruled out a missile attack, as it didn’t detect a heat trail that a rocket engine would have produced, the channel’s source said.

The heat flash may not be related to the crash since the Sinai Peninsula is a volatile place with regular military activity, a Pentagon official told ABC News.

There is growing speculation and versions about the cause of the crash over Sinai

Crashed in Egypt Airbus hit the runway tail when landing in Cairo in 2001. Information was confirmed in "Kogalymavia". Such contact is considered an incident. But after years later the depressurization could occur. Similar case the in 1985 with the aircraft of Japanese airlines and in 2002 with "Boeing 747" of Chinese airlines. In both cases, the planes broke up in the air. The reason - the poor maintenance after the tail touch the runway for a few years before.

"Some, perhaps, elements of a received residual deformation, which was undetected during inspection and repair. It is quite possible, therefore, for these years that have passed, 14 years after the incident, has accumulated some fatigue permanent deformation, and it could happen," says the honored pilot of the Russian Federation Sergey Kruglik.

Numerous violations were found in the airline "Kogalymavia" before the fire, the Tu-154 in Surgut - prosecutors

The supervisory authorities have identified numerous violations of the airline "Kogalymavia", whose plane caught fire on January 1 at the airport of Surgut, told the Ural Transport Prosecutor Paul Kukushkin.

"Last year was carried out checks in the airline-related preflight training. Revealed a number of violations. There is a question very hard to understand how the inspections were conducted, why not inspected," - said the prosecutor at a press conference in Yekaterinburg on Thursday.

P.Kukushkin noted that the final version of what happened will be announced after the completion of the audit of the International Aviation Committee on 18 February, "but it is clear that there were problems with the wiring of the aircraft."

Suspicions about the Russian Plane Crash

The October 31 crash of the Russian Metrojet passenger aircraft in the Sinai Desert, near the border of Egypt and Israel, raises some well-founded suspicions of foul play being involved in the downing of the plane. Putin calls for ‘objective picture’ of Russian plane crash in Sinai

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on investigators to sketch an "objective picture" of the recent deadly crash of a Russian Airbus A321 in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.

Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov had earlier in the day said that all possibilities about the cause of the incident are being considered. “No theory could yet be ruled out,” he said when asked whether the crash could have been the result of a terrorist attack.

Anti-New York Times / 11/1 Russian Plane Crash?

We here at The Anti-New York Times have always been averse to jumping to hasty conclusions. But we have no qualms about quickly forming hypotheses based on preliminary data, possible motives, means, and known historical precedent.

With regard to the Halloween crash over Egypt of Russian Airbus A321, operated by Metrojet, we hereby present some pieces of the puzzle that appear, at this point - to lead to a 'conspiracy theory' involving 'the usual suspects' (cough-cough).

Webmaster addition: I reject the obvious propaganda that ISIS shot down the Russian aircraft, and am still leaning towards failure of the rear pressure bulkhead as the cause of the accident. But this article makes a suggestion that should not be dismissed out of hand which is that the plane was bombed by CIA/Mossad as "punishment" for Russia's success in Syria.

Terrorists, non-state actors had no capacity to down Russian plane, security & aviation experts say

While the investigation into the causes of the Russian passenger jet crash over the Sinai Peninsula continues, civil aviation and security experts agree that theories that the plane was downed by a militant group can be ruled out, despite terrorists making such claims.

All 224 people on board the Kolavia airline’s flight from resort area Sharm El-Sheikh to Russia’s St. Petersburg died after the aircraft crashed in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on Saturday. Experts are still decoding the flight recorders, and the Russian Air Transport Agency has said that there is no point in hypothesizing about the cause of the crash until there is reliable data on the circumstances.

State-controlled NTV ran an interview Saturday with Natalya Trukhacheva, identified as the wife of co-pilot Sergei Trukachev. She said that a daughter “called him up before he flew out. He complained before the flight that the technical condition of the aircraft left much to be desired.”

An Egyptian official had previously said that before the plane lost contact with air traffic controllers the pilot had radioed and said the aircraft was experiencing technical problems and that he intended to try and land at the nearest airport.

Did Accident From 14 Years Ago Doom Russian Plane Over Egypt?

What does, however, jump out from this particular airplane’s record is an accident that it suffered on November 16, 2001 while landing at Cairo (while owned and operated by Middle East Airlines). As it touched down the nose was pointing at too high an angle and the tail hit the tarmac – heavily enough to cause substantial damage.

Tail strikes like this are not uncommon. The airplane was repaired and would have been rigorously inspected then and during subsequent maintenance checks. Nonetheless investigators who will soon have access to the Airbus’s flight data recorder will take a hard look at what is called the rear pressure bulkhead, a critical seal in the cabin’s pressurization system. Images from the wreckage in the Sinai show parts of the tail and rear fuselage near the site of this bulkhead lying clear of the rest of the debris, suggesting a possible break-up in flight.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There was an air crash in Japan some years ago which was caused by a faulty repair to the rear pressure bulkhead letting go at altitude.

BEX TSUNAMI WARNING - IS claims responsibility for Russian plane crash in Egypt

A militant group affiliated to Islamic State in Egypt claimed responsibility for the downing of a Russian passenger plane that crashed in Egypt's Sinai peninsula on Saturday, the group said in a statement circulated by supporters on Twitter.

Egyptian security sources earlier on Saturday said early investigations suggested the plane crashed due to a technical fault.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What would be the motive for ISIS to kill a Russian plane over the Sinai? To hand Russia justification to start bombing one of their safe havens? Russian airliner with 224 aboard crashes in Egypt’s Sinai

A Russian airliner carrying 224 passengers and crew crashed in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula on Saturday, and a security officer at the scene said most passengers appeared to have been killed. The Airbus A321, operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia under the brand name Metrojet, was flying from the Sinai Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to St Petersburg in Russia when it went down in a desolate mountainous area of central Sinai soon after daybreak, the aviation ministry said.

Oct 31 07:04

A Russian plane carrying more than 200 passengers from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh has crashed in central Sinai, killing all of those on board, Egyptian officials have said.

The jet, operated by the Russian company Kogalymavia and branded as Metrojet, had initially been reported as being “completely destroyed with all on board likely to have died”, according to a security officer from the search and rescue team.

Destined for St Petersburg, the plane was carrying 224 people, including 17 children and seven crew members.

Northern Sinai is home to groups of Islamist militants, many affiliated to Islamic State, but there were no indications the plane was shot down, Egyptian security sources told Reuters.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even though the Egyptian authorities are saying there is no evidence of a shoot down, this article tries to imply a link with Islamic Jihadists, while known propaganda front Debkafile is already claiming the plane was shot down by a missile!

Here is a possibility we should consider. While the Egyptian authorities are saying there is no sign of an outside attack, it is too soon to rule out an on-board sabotage such as likely brought down Ron Brown's aircraft. The plane's flight path would have taken it over the eastern Mediterranean right off of the coast of Syria. Had the plane crashed there, it could have been blamed on Syria to strain relations between Damascus and Moscow. I wonder if this aircraft was delayed leaving the airport.

The Empire of Chaos is in a Jam

The no-fly zone in Syria already exists. It is run by Russia and Washington is unable to jam it.

NATO is desperate. The Pentagon is desperate. Imagine waking up one day in Washington and Brussels just to realize Russia has the ability to electronically jam — detect, trace, disable, destroy — NATO electronics within a 600 km range across Syria (and southern Turkey).

Imagine the nightmare of row after row of Russian Richag-AV radar and sonar jamming systems mounted on helicopters and ships jamming everything in sight and finding every available source of electromagnetic radiation. Not only in Syria but also in Ukraine.

Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, commander of U.S. Army units in Europe, was even forced to qualify Russian electronic warfare capabilities in Ukraine as “eye-watering.”

How regime changers use "nonviolent" tactics in a typical regime change operation.

The architects of regime change insist on the use of “nonviolent” tactics specifically because they pose a much thornier problem for the authorities than an outright revolt. If the government faces an armed uprising, it knows exactly what to do: put it down. But when the youth of the nation parades around in matching T-shirts (that have been mysteriously shipped in from abroad) shouting deliberately anodyne, aspirational slogans, and the entire happening takes on the air of a festival, then the government's ability to maintain public order gradually melts away.

When the conditions are right, the regime changers fly in the mercenaries with the sniper rifles, carry out a public massacre, and blame it on the government. These snipers appeared in Egypt in 2011 during the effort to topple Hosni Mubarak. They also appeared in Vilnius in 1991 and in Moscow in 1993. In Tunisia in 2011 they actually got detained. They had Swedish passports and Northern European faces. They said that they were there to hunt wild boar—with sniper rifles, in Tunis.

Let us not allow ourselves to be misled: all three types of political technologies the US uses against the rest of the world are types of warfare—hybrid warfare—and “nonviolent warfare” is an oxymoron. “Nonviolence” is a misnomer; with respect to Orange Revolutions, the correct term is “delayed use of violence.”

These changing perceptions are the result of the rise of alternative forms of media, which have broken through the mainstream media’s imbalanced and inaccurate portrayal of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Jewish state has received unchallenged support by most Jews despite its decades-long occupation of the West Bank and the pursuit of policies toward Palestinians that, were they practiced by any other country, would be overwhelmingly opposed by American Jews.

Merkel’s Faustian embrace of Turkey

If the EU, under Merkel’s direction, accedes to Turkey’s demand for setting up safe zones in northern Syria, then that has ominous implications.

Turkey is pressuring Germany to create “safe zones” inside Syria as a “price” for alleviating the EU’s refugee crisis. It’s a Faustian bargain that could escalate the Syrian conflict, where NATO forces could end up pitted against Russia’s military.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s hot-footing to Istanbul last weekend was capped with a U-turn regarding Turkey’s much sought-after membership of the European Union. In a surprise move, Merkel announcedthat she was now in favor of pushing for Turkey’s accession to the EU, when only a few weeks ago she had reiterated her opposition to its membership.

Rep. Jim Jordan vs. Hillary Clinton: Why Did You Tell Egyptians Benghazi Was a Terrorist Attack But Not The American People?

At a House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing Thursday, Rep. Jim Jordan introduced e-mails that show then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calling the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya terrorism to family and the Egyptian prime minister.

Jordan then questioned why she told Americans the Benghazi attack was a response to an infamous YouTube clip mocking Muslims but e-mailed it was a terrorist attack to the Egyptian prime minister and family.

A Very Heavy Agenda Part 1 : A Catalyzing Event [Trailer] (Neocons exposed)

Post-9/11, the War on Terror had outlived its usefulness.
The minds behind the think tanks that drive America’s interventionist foreign policy decided that the U.S. needed a new enemy, so they chose an old one -- Russia.

Part 1: A Catalyzing Event 1hr 25mins

Cheney, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld were ubiquitous in the news media as they took every available opportunity to market to America an aggressive preemptive war policy. But from where did their ideas originate? The answer is a tightly knit and eminently well placed group of neoconservative thought leaders, chief among them Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan. Part 1 begins in the panicked weeks after 9/11, as Kagan et al. seized upon the hysteria surrounding the anthrax letter attacks to further shape America’s perception of reality, planting the seeds for endless future military engagements. George W. Bush may have been understandably perceived as an idiot, but watching these wonks and academics drive the ideological engine for his administration belies a much more sophisticated strategy at play.

How Putin will Win in Syria

By most accounts, the conflict had deteriorated into a stalemate. Now, with Russia in the picture, that’s changed. Now the table is clearly tilted in Syria’s favor.…

The reason Putin will succeed where the US failed in its war on ISIS, is because the Russian air-strikes are going to be accompanied by a formidable mop-up operation that will overpower the jihadi groups on the ground. This is already happening as we speak. The Russian Air Force has been pounding terrorist targets across the Idlib Governorate for the last few days as well as ISIS strongholds in the East at Raffa. Putin is going to cut through these guys like crap through a goose.

Putin is not going to stop for anything or anyone. He’s going to nail these guys while he has them in his gun-sights, then he’s going to wrap it up and go home.

Sisi, Putin call for anti-terror Mideast coalition – Al Arayabiay

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi on Wednesday called for a coalition to combat terrorism in the Middle East.

Opening a meeting with Putin in Moscow, Sisi said “the Egyptian people” are hoping for broader ties with Russia in all areas, particularly in fighting terrorism in the Middle East.

Putin told reporters after the talks that regional powers should join their efforts to combat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group.

Russia To The Rescue

Happy Birthday President Putin.Wish America had a leader like you!

If Syria has now effectively become a Russian protectorate, it follows logically that NO planes ought henceforth to be allowed to fly over Syrian air space without Assad’s consent and Russian approval. This will apply not only to Israeli planes but, by extension, to American planes, British planes and French planes. The distinction between the “good terrorists” (the so-called Syrian “rebels” backed by the West) and the “bad terrorists” and their affiliates (ISIS and their kind) will soon disappear.

The Russian aim is to support the Assad regime. As such, all the Western-backed “rebel” forces in Syria will henceforth be regarded as deadly enemies of Syria and will probably be destroyed. Putin has every right to bomb the Muslim mercenaries on the American payroll. A

How Putin will Win in Syria

The reason Putin will succeed where the US failed in its war on ISIS, is because the Russian air-strikes are going to be accompanied by a formidable mop-up operation that will overpower the jihadi groups on the ground. This is already happening as we speak. The Russian Air Force has been pounding terrorist targets across the Idlib Governorate for the last few days as well as ISIS strongholds in the East at Raffa. Putin is going to cut through these guys like crap through a goose.

So the Russian people are proud of the way Putin is fighting the war on terror. Is there something wrong with that? Many Americans are old enough to remember a time when they were proud of their own country too, when it actually stood up for the principles it espouses in its founding documents. That was quite a while ago though, sometime back in the “pre-Gitmo” era”.

Five Leaders Challenging Western Imperialism through Diplomacy, Persuasion, and Public Pressure: Pope Francis, Vladimir Putin, Xi, Jinping, Hassan Rouhani, and Jeremy Corbyn

These five protagonists of a new global agenda differ from past critics from the left both in the style and substance of their politics.

Western imperialism, in all of its manifestation, is being challenged by five political leaders, through diplomacy, moral persuasion and public pressure.

In recent time, Pope Francis, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn have raised fundamental questions concerning (1) war and peace in the Middle East and the Caucuses; (2) climate change and the destruction of the environment; (3) economic sanctions, military threats and confrontation; and (4) growing inequalities of class, gender and race.

Obama Accuses Russia of Going After America’s “Good Guy Terrorists”

Moscow is supporting both countries (Syria and Iraq) in their proxy war against the ISIL which is supported by the US and its allies.

Until recently, the ISIS was known as Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). In 2014, it was renamed the Islamic State (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).

Russia is Now Involved in the War on Terrorism

A major turning point in the dynamics of the Syria-Iraq war is unfolding. Russia is now directly involved in the counter-terrorism campaign in coordination with the Syrian and Iraqi governments.

How The US Helped To Create Al Qaeda and ISIS

by Garikai Chengu

Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region.

The fact that the United States has a long and torrid history of backing terrorist groups will surprise only those who watch the news and ignore history.

Lest we forget, the CIA gave birth to Osama Bin Laden and breastfed his organization during the 1980?s. Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, told the House of Commons that Al Qaeda was unquestionably a product of Western intelligence agencies. Mr. Cook explained that Al Qaeda, which literally means an abbreviation of “the database” in Arabic, was originally the computer database of the thousands of Islamist extremists, who were trained by the CIA and funded by the Saudis, in order to defeat the Russians in Afghanistan.

Kaleidoscope of Power Games in the Middle-East

So it is alright for the CIA to train anti- Assad terrorists, but not for Russia to fight them on behalf of a democratically elected leader of a sovereign country?

How dare the Syrians elect a President whom a foreign nation – the US of A– wants to remove by it’s traditional ‘regime change’ approach for reasons of (US) ‘national security’ – what an outright BS! – It is no longer a secret that the PNAC (Plan for A New American Century) needs Syria to fall into equal disarray and chaos as did Iraq and Libya – and Sudan, Somalia, Central Africa; Lebanon and of course Iran – and on goes the list – for the ultimate goal: America’s absolute hegemony.

Vladimir Putin’s Address to the United Nations Security Council. Video and Transcript

The UN General Assembly is the United Nations Organisation’s main consultative body and examines the principles for cooperation in ensuring international peace and security.

?The 70th anniversary of the United Nations is a good occasion to both take stock of history and talk about our common future.

The Mind of Mr. Putin

Perhaps it is time to climb down off our ideological high horse and start respecting the vital interests of other sovereign nations, even as we protect and defend our own.

If America’s elites continue to assert their right to intervene in the internal affairs of nations, to make them conform to a U.S. ideal of what is a good society and legitimate government, then we are headed for endless conflict. And, one day, this will inevitably result in war, as more and more nations resist America’s moral imperialism.

Nations have a right to be themselves, Putin is saying.

Showdown at the UN Corral – Raimondo

If there was any doubt that Washington has learned absolutely nothing since George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq, then President Obama’s address to the United Nations has confirmed the world’s worst fears. It was an oration that combined the most egregious lies with the wooly-minded “idealism” that has been such a destructive force in world affairs since the days of Woodrow Wilson.

Question: Were these US-funded Good Guys (in Syria) always Bad Guys in an ill-fitting disguise?

The Warmonger Presidential Candidates

...the compromised presidential candidates will never gain the guts to set into motion a true America First foreign policy.

In order to fully understand the primal betrayal of genuine American interests, our society has to face the hard reality that the NeoCons and Zionist Israel-First fifth column that controls the bureaucracy of selective orthodox government is the enemy of our own people.

Standing with Israel is a primary reason for the demise of the American Republic.

Illustrating this point, the debate statement from Carly Fiorina, Crackpot Warmonger, exposes the utter absurdity of subordinating our true interests to a rogue regime designed to cause chaos as the meanings to achieve regional dominance.

“On Day One in the Oval Office, I will make two phone calls, the first to my good friend Bibi Netanyahu to reassure him we will stand with the state of Israel.”

Obama’s Syria

Ending Syria’s horrific civil war is possible, but the political will to do so remains elusive.

Over the years the facts on the ground have changed in Syria – with the rise of the Islamic State being the deadliest new reality. But Washington and its regional allies remain focused on an illegal regime change in Damascus. The west is fighting the wrong war and will surely lose the peace.

Regime Change as American as Apple Pie

US President Barack Obama is someone to almost pity. For he has the unenviable task of standing before the nations of the world and smugly spout endless falsehoods — as he did, yet again, during his address to the UN General Assembly.

Clandestine American-led interventions have fuelled the explosion in terror networks across the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. Yet amid this American legacy of international violence, Obama was charged with painting a rose-tinted view of the world that was breath-taking in its distortion and absurdity.

Obama, Putin to meet at a defining moment

The Russian state agency TASS is not given to speculating on the Kremlin leader’s activities. It is a ground rule set by Joseph Stalin when the agency was created in 1925. Therefore, we must accept as ‘breaking news’ the TASS’ Washington dateline report quoting ‘an informed source’ to the effect that a meeting between Russian president Vladimir Putin and US resident Barack Obama will take place next week on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session.

Obama will do well to cut his way through the neocon shibboleth and comprehend that Russia has been largely reactive – be it in Ukraine, Syria or Afghanistan or on missile defence and the global strategic stability – whereas, the US has trampled on Russia’s vital and legitimate interests and core concerns like a rogue elephant. Amends need to be made. For far too long, Obama chose to tread the trodden path set by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush in the direction of ‘containment’ of Russia.

Iran’s ‘take’ on Russian build-up in Syria

Things were going splendidly for Israel until Russia arrived on the scene as the great ‘spoiler’.

The first detailed Iranian commentary on the Russian military build-up in Syria appeared in a Fars news agency piece.

The Iranian interpretation runs counter to the story being spread by Israel and right-wing American propagandists that the Russian forces intend to join the war in Syria.

The Israeli media even claimed that the Russian intervention in Syria is in active collaboration with the so-called Quds Force of the IRGC. The Israeli disinformation aims to put pressure on the Barack Obama administration not to coordinate with Russia over Syria.

Sisi destroys thousands of Egyptian homes in anti-Palestinian campaign

On 27 October 2014, soldiers knocked on the door of an elderly woman in the Egyptian town of Rafah, near the border with the Gaza Strip.

According to Um Muhammad, a neighbor and eyewitness, an officer told the elderly woman that the army would be blowing up her house the next day.

When the woman responded that she and her family had lived there all their lives, the officer said: “That’s it, there’s no time to talk. Move your things from this moment.”

If she didn’t, the officer said, “we’ll below it up with everything inside.”

The woman said a prayer and then told the officer: “You’re kicking us out of our homeland.”

“Go look for another homeland,” the officer retorted. “I don’t want to hear another word.”

AIPAC’s Democrat Problems Go Beyond Obama

Last week, journalists Josh Rogin and Eli Lake published a piece at Bloomberg Businessweek explaining how the influential pro-Israel lobby AIPAC came to be defeated in the biggest fight in a generation. The story holds important truths. It’s essentially about the tough spot AIPAC was put in by the Obama administration’s hardball tactics to protect the achievement of the nuclear deal with Iran, hardly a surprise given the stakes at hand.

Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy, who last month lost his second trial on terrorism-related charges, has been pardoned by Egyptian President Adbel Fattah el-Sisi.

Fahmy's wife, Marwa Omara, said she got to break the good news to her husband while she was visiting him in prison earlier today. She had been leaving the facility at the end of their time together when she saw the news of the pardon on television, so she asked the guards to bring Fahmy back.

"Once I told him, he was so happy. He was ... thanking God and he was really smiling," she said.

"They agreed on the principle and the terms of the acquisition by Egypt of the two [ships]," the French President Francois Hollande’s spokesman told reporters in a statement on Wednesday.

The deal was agreed at a high-profile meeting between French and Egyptian delegations in Paris. The final decision was announced by the president’s office on Wednesday, though the cost of the deal has not been released.

Update: A US petition calling for Netanyahu’s arrest

Benjamin Netanyahu is to hold talks in New york this September. Under international law he should be arrested for war crimes upon arrival in the U.S for the massacre of over 2000 civilians in 2014.

Why the huge difference between US and the Brits?

Last summer, Israel launched Operation Protective Edge, a bloody war against Gaza that killed about 2,300 Palestinians, the vast majority of whom were civilians, including over 500 children. The attack also devastated Gaza’s infrastructure, and left about 500,000 people displaced or homeless. These war crimes and others, like Israel’s recent attack on the Freedom Flotilla, which sought to bring medical aid and solar panels to the Port of Gaza, have given rise to increased calls for Israel to be tried before the International Criminal Court.

UK Labour Party revolution

The election of veteran socialist Jeremy Corbyn to lead the Labour Party in the UK is a revolution by all means. In a party grassroots election, the 66-year-old outsider defeated a line-up of traditional Labour candidates.

Corbyn’s victory was a rejection of Tony Blair’s wing as much as it was a swing to the left. Blair, who came back from hibernation to campaign against Corbyn, was rebuffed by the rank and file of the Labour Party. Party membership didn’t forgive Blair’s disgraceful servitude role to George Bush and his Israeli fabricated “dossier” to sell the invasion of Iraq.

All Republican Presidential Candidates Stand For War

There is not a peaceful person among the Republican candidates. Even the female is heartless.

Here is Carla Fiorina at the debate describing the way she will lead us to Armageddon. She won’t talk to Putin, but she will send him “the message” via military threats:

“Having met Vladimir Putin, I wouldn’t talk to him at all. We’ve talked way too much to him. What I would do, immediately, is begin rebuilding the Sixth Fleet, I would begin rebuilding the missile defense program in Poland, I would conduct regular, aggressive military exercises in the Baltic states. I’d probably send a few thousand more troops into Germany. Vladimir Putin would get the message. . . . Russia is a bad actor, but Vladimir Putin is someone we should not talk to, because the only way he will stop is to sense strength and resolve on the other side, and we have all of that within our control. We could rebuild the Sixth Fleet. I will. We haven’t. We could rebuild the missile defense program. We haven’t. I will.”

The Republican Candidates Just Can’t Quit Neoconservatism

With the exception of Rand Paul, the GOP field remained in thrall to a bankrupt neoconservative ideology.

If the candidates’ positions on foreign policy were anything to go by, the neocon outlook—which is in essence a frightened, xenophobic, reflexive militarism—continues to have a stranglehold on a Grand Old Party, which cannot seem to shake some Very Bad Ideas.

Migrants, Refugees, Clandestines and… Jihadis

What else is new? The Empire of Chaos specializes in breaking, not fixing.

The plight of the refugees could become the perfect excuse to precipitate a new R2P (responsibility to protect) war; Libya remixed, with fighting ISIL barely disguising the real agenda: regime change in Damascus.

So Europe has suddenly, miraculously “discovered” that the civil war/proxy war raging in Syria since early 2011 has hemorrhaged into an extremely serious refugee crisis.

European Sturm und Drang on what to do about the refugee drama is unprecedented in modern times. Bitterness permeates the fault lines separating fear and intolerance from generosity and solidarity.

Among quite a few progressive circles, there are widespread fears that the current Western media campaign centered on the plight of refugees may be a catalyst to prepare European-wide public opinion for an all-out war in Syria before the end of 2015.

A Refugee Crisis Made in America – Philip Giraldi

Will the U.S. accept responsibility for the humanitarian consequences of Washington-manufactured wars?

It is perhaps past time for Washington to begin to become accountable for what it does.

The world media is following the refugee crisis by focusing primarily on the inability of unprepared local governments to deal with the numbers of migrants, asking why someone somewhere can’t just “do something.” This means that somehow, as a result, the vast human tragedy has been reduced to a statistic and, inevitably, a political football.

Refugees as Weapon – and Germany shifting Alliances?

Germany alongside Russia might indeed defend and help preserve the Assad government, together with Iran the two stabilizing factors in the Middle East.

As a parallel or backup plan, the unholy alliance between Washington, NATO and Turkey agreed to open Turkey’s flood gates for refugees, actually promoting the exodus to gain free reign in the safe heavens and to build up a mass of refugees – most of whom want to flee to Germany – which in the right moment could be let go and cause the right pressure or destabilization effects in Europe. Well, this is just happening.

Putin’s Line in the Sand: No Regime Change in Syria

By allowing US F-16s to patrol the skies over Syria, Washington will impose a de facto no-fly zone over the country severely limiting Assad’s ability to battle the US-backed militias that have seized large swaths of the countryside and are now descending on Damascus.

The Syrian war can be divided into two parts: The pre-Incirlik period and the post-Incirlik period. The pre-Incirlik period is roughly the four year stretch during which US-backed Islamic militias and al Qaida-linked groups fought the Syrian army with the intention of removing President Bashar al Assad from power. This first phase of the war ended in a draw.

A Fly in the Ointment of Colbert’s Opening Show

We will be watching Stephen Colbert to see where his comedy takes him next.

While awaiting the final congressional vote that will confirm that President Obama has defeated the Zionist juggernaut which spent millions to block the Iran Nuclear deal, we must pause to consider a major moment in entertainment television.

The entertainment news has to do with the CBS network arrival of Stephen Colbert, who last week succeeded David Letterman as host of The Late Show (11:30 EST).

Even there, alas, the Zionist juggernaut lurks. You will have to look closely to see it, but there was a fly in the ointment of the otherwise successful launch of the next chapter of Colbert’s career.

Supporters of the BDS movement were quick to identify the fly.

RECKLESS HYPOCRISY – The Folly of Self-Righteous Indignation

Iran has not been and is not intending to build a nuclear arsenal; but who can admit that fact – Obama, Clinton, Kerry?

Could we expect President Obama to confess that Iran’s nuclear ambitions to develop a bomb has been a politically motivated fictional narrative serving other purposes? Could he advocate the idea that replacing Israel with Iran would be the most “advantageous” step to pursue America’s true strategic interests in the Middle East? No, not in this lifetime!

Therefore, the hardline, even sounding like a born again-neoconservative, rhetoric by Hillary Clinton that the United States under her presidency would take an extremely hawkish position against any Iranian intransigence is as genuine a threat as threatening to nuke Iran if the Supreme Leader jumps over the moon!! Iran has not been and is not intending to build a nuclear arsenal; but who can admit that fact – Obama, Clinton, Kerry?

ISIS is working on Mossad/CIA Plan to Create Greater Israel

Ken explains the concept of ‘The Greater Israel Project’ and the balkanization of surrounding countries as a means of destabilizing them. Balkanization is a geopolitical term that was originally used to describe the process of the fragmentation or division of a region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile or non-cooperative with one another. The head of the snake, the system of power, is headed by the financial system. The bankers rule the Earth through the private control of the issuance of money, debt-based money which we’re all supposed to pay with things like austerity measures, which allows them to provide THEMSELVES an INFINITE supply of money which means that they can buy anything and anyone so we see that the world governments are nothing but puppets of bankers who control their money supply. The bankers at the top of this pyramid are psychopaths.
