Nikki Haley Nukes The Grammys After ‘Fire And Fury’ Reading

Nikki Haley reacted like most Americans probably did when politics came up during the Grammys broadcast on Sunday night.

At one point during the biggest night in music, CBS aired a pre-taped bit in which several celebrities, including former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, read excerpts from Michael Wolff’s “Fire And Fury,” and it certainly didn’t sit well with the United States ambassador to the United Nations.

A guided tour of the big guns at the Big Sandy Shoot (VIDEO)

And we will have fun,fun,fun!

At the most recent Big Sandy Shoot, big gun expert Robert Bigando gave us a tour of the nearly two dozen big guns on display at the event.

The Big Sandy Shoot is a biannual event that takes place near Wikieup, Arizona, in April and October of each year. The event attracts hundreds of shooters, machine guns and large caliber guns. The most recent shoot was held from Oct. 20-22. It saw the largest turn out of big guns in the event’s 30 year history. This included the largest civilian owned gun — the 152mm Russian D20 howitzer.

“A good Bofors gun can probably be picked up for $25,000.” he said. “So you got to ask yourself, what would you rather have? An M-16, or a 37mm Bofors?”

Which gun would you rather have?

‘The Post’ and the Pentagon Papers

Who wouldn’t want to see a movie based on that story? Who wouldn’t like to be part of making a movie based on that story?

Well, evidently, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg wouldn’t. Instead, they have produced a movie, “The Post,” depicting a very different set of events.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, the movie about one of the Washington Post's better moments ... is itself a piece of propaganda.

Speaking to French magazine Paris Match, Brigitte, 83, was asked what she thought of actresses denouncing sexual harassment.

“In the vast majority of cases they are being hypocritical, ridiculous, uninteresting,” she said.

NFL Rejects Super Bowl Ad Asking Players, Audience to Stand During US Anthem

After being invited by the National Football League to place an ad in the Super Bowl LII program, American Veterans (AMVETS), an organization focused on the well-being of US veterans, announced Monday that the league had rejected the advertisement they submitted.

The ad, which shows soldiers saluting the American flag with the words "Please Stand" hovering above, is a pointed response to the movement of NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem to protest racial inequality and injustice.

At Davos, 6 Feet of Snow Brings Limousines to a Crawl

There is A God!

DAVOS, Switzerland — It may be tempting fate to try to gather 60 heads of state and hundreds of global business leaders in the dead of winter in a Swiss mountain valley. This year, the World Economic Forum’s luck seems to have run out.

Fat, damp snowflakes have been tumbling down for the past six days, burying the town in six feet of snow, three feet of it in the last two days alone. Snow was still falling fast on Monday night, and the steep, pine-dotted slopes were so heavily laden that some neighborhoods here in Davos had to be evacuated for fear of avalanches.

Scarlett Johansson under fire for eviscerating James Franco at the LA Women's March after DEFENDING Woody Allen and starring in THREE of his films

Accusations of hypocrisy have emerged against Scarlett Johansson, who blasted James Franco in a speech despite previously defending Woody Allen and saying that child abuse allegations against the director were 'all guesswork'.

'I want my pin back, by the way,' Johansson said on Saturday, referencing the Time's Up pin Franco wore at the Golden Globe Awards on January 7, inspiring five accusers to come forward charging him as a hypocrite.

Yet the accusation of hypocrisy was quickly flipped against Johansson, who was considered something of a muse to Allen, starring in his 2005 film Match Point, 2006's Scoop, and Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2014.

She has lavished praise on the director, saying of him in 2007: 'I'd sew the hems of his pants if he asked me to'.

Oprah is the perfect fit for bleeding heart liberals: Emotional speeches that distort reality while utterly lacking any real substance at all

What exactly is so appealing about the idea of Oprah Winfrey for President? She’s extremely wealthy and her name appears quite often on television and in magazines; other than that, what qualifies her to be the next commander-in-chief and leader of the free world?

Perhaps the liberals like her so much because, simply put, she’s “one of them.” Think about it – she despises people who consider themselves to be conservative or right-of-center, she believes that government is the solution to anything and everything, and beyond that, she tends to use feelings and emotion rather than facts and logic when delivering messages to the American people.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Liberals attack Trump for being a billionaire reality TV star.... then decide their favorite candidate is a billionaire reality TV star!

Emma Watson Writes Open Letter Apologizing For Her 'White Privilege'

Actress Emma Watson wrote an open letter to her book club after reading Reni Eddo-Lodge's "Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race" where she acknowledged her "white privilege" and said she's thought about the ways she "upholds a system that is structurally racist."

After coming out as a feminist in 2015, Watson was criticized by black feminists for being a privileged "white feminist." She said she began "panicking" as a result.

"What was the need to define me — or anyone else for that matter — as a feminist by race? What did this mean? Was I being called racist?"

"Every time I think I’ve peeled all the layers, there’s another layer to peel," she said.

Indeed, Emma. Acknowledging your "white privilege" is a never-ending process for which the only logical conclusion at the end is to commit suicide.

New Protest Album By Keegan McInroe Takes On War, Surveillance, GMOs, War On Drugs, And More

By Brandon Turbeville

Keegan McInroe just released a brilliant protest album and, chances are, you’ve never heard of it. During the course of about half an hour, McInroe takes on a number of important issues in a serious (and sometimes satirical) fashion. The album is aptly titled A Good Old Fashioned Protest.

But there are a number of reasons you’ve probably never heard of the album or possibly even of Keegan. Quite simply, he’s not part of the music industry establishment selling fluff, idiocy, and ignoring anything of relevance to the human experience...

"I Paid To See A Movie About Singing. I Got Ninety Minutes Of Pentagon Propaganda."

Indeed, the film looks like it was initially written to have taken place in a civilian setting, then after many rewrites and the involvement of God knows what agencies managed to force itself onto US military bases. As Insurge Intelligence noted in its report, once that happens the war machine is granted what amounts to total creative control of the film’s production, up to and including the ability to cancel production altogether by withdrawing support.

Sure enough, retired Army lieutenant colonel Thomas Lesnieski, who was involved with the production of the film, says that in order to “make sure that the way the military is portrayed is done right,” changes were made to the script of Pitch Perfect 3 after the film enlisted “DoD support”.

Five ways schools destroy children’s freedom (and what to do about it)

By their very design, schools restrict the freedoms of individuals to encourage conformity and obedience. Our public school model has its origin in Prussia, the defunct German kingdom that promoted universal schooling beginning in the late 17th century. The goal was not education, but social engineering. Dr. Peter Gray, a research professor of psychology at Boston College, wrote in his book, Free to Learn:

“The primary educational concern of leaders in government and industry was not to make people literate, but to gain control over what people read, what they thought, and how they behaved. Secular leaders in education promoted the idea that if the state controlled the schools, and if children were required by law to attend those schools, then the state could shape each new generation of citizens into ideal patriots and workers.”(p. 60)

Hollyweird and Harassment

My previous post dealt with Morgan Spurlock’s recent confession that he’s been a drunk, a womanizer and a sexual harasser. He now promises to be part of the solution. Well, gee, that’s great. Here’s how he and all men can be “part of the solution”: don’t act like a jackass when you’re around women. Don’t attempt to have sex with women who aren’t actually attracted to you, and if you’re married, don’t cheat on your wife. It’s not that difficult to figure out.

Longtime pop singer Seal has publicly called out Oprah Winfrey for her extreme hypocrisy surrounding her speech at the Golden Globes and subsequent grandstanding in the wake of the Hollywood Harvey Weinstein scandal.

The pop singer posted a now viral meme to Instagram Wednesday that openly showed Oprah actually sucking on Hollywood mega-predator Harvey Weinstein’s ear while another showed her actually introducing a young actress to him.

“Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumors but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad,” Seal rightfully noted.

RUBBISH! Portland's top brass said it was OK to swipe your garbage--so we grabbed theirs.

After much debate, we resolved to turn the tables on three of our esteemed public officials. We embarked on an unauthorized sightseeing tour of their garbage, to make a point about how invasive a "garbage pull" really is--and to highlight the government's ongoing erosion of people's privacy. We chose District Attorney Mike Schrunk because his office is the most vocal defender of the proposition that your garbage is up for grabs. We chose Police Chief Mark Kroeker because he runs the bureau. And we chose Mayor Vera Katz because, as police commissioner, she gives the chief his marching orders. Each, in his or her own way, has endorsed the notion that you abandon your privacy when you set your trash out on the curb. So we figured they wouldn't mind too much if we took a peek at theirs. Boy, were we wrong. [This is from 2002, but a classic.]

WALSH: Stop Congratulating Yourselves, Hollywood. You Hypocritical, Self-Serving Cowards.

An actress showed up on the Golden Globes red carpet last night wearing a sweatshirt with the words "Poverty is Sexist" emblazoned across it. The sweatshirt costs $380. It was a perfect microcosm of the entire night, and the film industry as a whole: vapid, ridiculous, clueless, meaningless, self-serving, self-righteous, self-defeating, hypocritical, phony.

I didn't watch the event because I decided to stab butter knives into my eye sockets instead, but the media tells me that the ceremony was "inspiring" and "powerful," as all of Hollywood's biggest celebrities took turns making theatrical statements in condemnation of their own cowardice and degeneracy. The women wore black dresses in protest against sexual harassment, and the men showed solidarity by boldly wearing the same black tuxedos they would have worn anyway. The slogan of the night was "Time's Up," because the fake campaign against sexual harassment didn't already have enough slogans.

Venice Theater actress accuses Tony award winner Ben Vereen of sexual assault

Multiple women are speaking out, claiming they were sexually abused by actor and director Ben Vereen at his Suncoast rental home in 2015. They said it happened while Vereen was directing a production of "Hair" at the Venice Theater.

"[I thought it was] just really cool to get to hang out with my director, and that's all that I considered it as," said Kaitlyn Terpstra, who claims Vereen sexually assaulted her in 2015.

It was a professional relationship turned personal between Kaitlyn Terpstra and Tony Award winning actor Ben Vereen. He told Terpstra he chose her and the other actors because they had raw talent. The North Port and Sarasota native grew up performing at the Venice Community Theater but she remembers her relationship with her new show director getting out of hand quickly.

"He said, 'do you feel that?' because his erection was pressing against me and I didn't want to acknowledge it because it was so upsetting," explained Terpstra.

Harveywood Fallout: President Trump Has Better Poll Numbers Than Meryl Streep

After a 40 year career, three Oscars, and nearly achieving something close to sainthood status due to her anti-Trump activism, Meryl Streep’s fall from grace over the Harveywood scandal is near complete. A new poll shows that her reputation is in tatters, and that no one with any sense believes she “knew nothing” about the alleged predations of Harvey Weinstein, a man she once called “God.”

Streep’s problems began back in 2003, when the now-69 year-old actress was caught on television giving a standing ovation to a fugitive child rapist, director Roman Polanski, a monster who drugged, raped, and sodomized, a 13 year-old girl. After confessing to this crime, he fled from justice.

Who to Believe on Washington's Korea Policy, Tillerson or Trump?

President Trump has often said that his foreign policy objective was to keep his enemies guessing. If that’s the goal, you could say that he’s doing a good job. The problem is who does he think his enemies are, because the American people are often left guessing as well.

US policy toward North Korea last week is a good example of how the Trump Administration is wittingly or unwittingly sowing confusion among friend and foe alike. In what looked like a breakthrough, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announced last Tuesday that the US would be willing to sit down and talk with North Korea “without preconditions.” Previously the US had demanded that North Korea agree to end its nuclear weapons and missile programs before Washington was willing to sit down to formal talks.

The State Department shift toward actual diplomacy with North Korea was quickly quashed>>>

People who delight in causing offence are so tedious. Why not just play nice? Surely a world of happiness is better than constant misery? At this point I must declare a conflict of interest: I like being happy, which is why I promote happiness. I am in the pay of Big Joy. Bear this in mind whenever you read my columns. It’s actually why I wasn’t allowed to stand as a member of parliament: the ombudsman told me that my belief in making the world a nicer place was incompatible with the regular cash rewards from the arms trade.

Video: Mayor Cries After Italian Councilwoman Debunks The Myth Of "White Privilege"

Councilwoman Gina Bauman responded by stating that she was a child of Italian immigrants, that her parents assimulated, and that she worked hard for everything she has. "Because I'm white, you think I was privileged my whole life? Are you kidding?" Bauman says.

Val Johnson, the Mayor of New Brighton, becomes enraged and accuses Gina Bauman of being "racist." The clearly unstable mayor then uses God's name in vain, flails her arms, pointing at Bauman, and threatens Bauman with the false charge of being "out of order."

Harvey Weinstein, TWC, Miramax Hit with RICO Lawsuit from Six Women

Six women filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Harvey Weinstein and current and former executives at both The Weinstein Company and Miramax accusing the disgraced movie producer of sexual misconduct, and a coverup by his associates.

Filed in New York’s U.S. District Court, the suit says the women encountered “credible and objective threat of being blacklisted by Weinstein and major film producers such as Miramax and TWC if they refused Weinstein’s unwanted sexual advances or complained about his behavior.”

The civil suit says the women were subjected to “flashing, groping, fondling, harassing, battering, false imprisonment, sexual assault, attempted rape and/or completed rape.”

“The proverbial ‘casting couch’ was Harvey Weinstein’s office of choice, a choice facilitated and condoned by TWC and Miramax,” the suit reads.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All of a sudden I don't feel so bad about no longer being in the film industry. :)

Weinstein’s Complicity Machine

Mr. Weinstein’s final, failed round of manipulations shows how he operated for more than three decades: by trying to turn others into instruments or shields for his behavior, according to nearly 200 interviews, internal company records and previously undisclosed emails. Some aided his actions without realizing what he was doing. Many knew something or detected hints, though few understood the scale of his sexual misconduct. Almost everyone had incentives to look the other way or reasons to stay silent. Now, even as the tally of Mr. Weinstein’s alleged misdeeds is still emerging, so is a debate about collective failure and the apportioning of blame.

'I just want to let you know Harvey's a RAPIST': Lena Dunham's damning email to Hillary Clinton revealed - but she ignored it for a year, took his cash and even wanted to be in business with him

Bill and Hillary Clinton's team ignored repeated warnings about Harvey Weinstein from Lena Dunham and Tina Brown, and were planning a lucrative documentary with him in the days before he was exposed.

The former President and First Lady were effectively complicit in stopping the movie producer's history of sexual abuse from coming out, a damning New York Times investigation claims.

Dunham, a writer and actress, and Brown, a magazine editor, both warned Hillary's advisers about Weinstein as far back as 2008, but she and Bill remained friends with him.

Dunham - one of Hillary's biggest celebrity endorsers - emailed her campaign's deputy communications director last year stating: 'I just want you to let you know that Harvey's a rapist and this is going to come out at some point,' and warned 'it's a really bad idea for him to host fund-raisers and be involved.'

Corey Feldman's 1993 audio files naming alleged sexual predators found by Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Kelly Hoover told Fox News on Tuesday night in an emailed statement, “Following the recent inquiries into the Sheriff’s Office interview of Mr. Feldman in 1993, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office conducted an additional review for any stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation. In a container which included the original reports from the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office located some detective working copies of audio recordings made during the investigation. A copy of Mr. Feldman’s interview was located. The recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department. Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release.”
