Russians move 2 SS-21 Tactical Nuke Ballistic Missile Launchers into South Ossetia

Col. Sam Gardiner notes, in an interview with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now, Russia has deployed tactical nuclear weapons to South Ossetia. The SS-21 Missile launchers are relatively weak compared to bombs that have already been used against Georgia by the Russian air force. However, this move does indicate Russia is potentially upping the game from a conventional weapons war to a tactical nuclear More..weapons war. Gardiner notes that at a news conference on Sunday, the US Deputy National Security advisor has noted these weapons arriving in South Ossetia.

The Plot To Destroy The US Dollar

PLOTTING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE US DOLLAR and the weakening of its role as the reserve-currency in the global market, was the underlying agenda of the Bilderberg Group, which convened its most ominous meeting to date in Greece on May 14-17, 2009.

According to an alleged Kremlin report, (and it’s believable), the shadowy Bilderberg Group - made up of financial, political and corporate elite - emerged from their conclave after coming to an agreement that in order to continue their drive towards a New World Order dominated by the Western powers, the US dollar had to be destroyed.

BIS Slammed Federal Reserve and Other Central Banks for Blowing Bubbles and then "Using Gimmicks and Palliatives" which "Will Only Make Things Worse"

If you have any doubt that the Fed and other central banks should have known that a crash was coming, all you have to do is look at this June 2007 article from the Telegraph:

The Bank for International Settlements, the world's most prestigious financial body, has warned that years of loose monetary policy has fuelled a dangerous credit bubble, leaving the global economy more vulnerable to another 1930s-style slump than generally understood...

The BIS, the ultimate bank of central bankers, pointed to a confluence a worrying signs, citing mass issuance of new-fangled credit instruments, soaring levels of household debt, extreme appetite for risk shown by investors, and entrenched imbalances in the world currency system...

Hillary Out to Strong-Arm Swiss

First we attacked Afghanistan. Then we attacked Iraq. Now the U.S. has it sights set on Switzerland.

Peaceful, neutral Switzerland? That's right. What's the crime? It's not sponsoring terrorism or harboring weapons of mass destruction. No, in the eyes of the U.S. government, Switzerland has done far worse: it's kept money out of the hands of the Internal Revenue Service, money to which the IRS may not even be entitled under any law anywhere.

The U.S. and Switzerland are headed for a diplomatic showdown as the IRS demands that Swiss bank UBS turn over the names of 52,000 U.S. clients in the mere hope of exposing them as tax evaders, prosecuting them and taking their cash.

Hungary’s lawmakers rejected constitutional amendments to make Holocaust denial a punishable offense.

Some local Jewish community leaders believe that Monday's vote secured the first parliamentary victory for Jobbik, a rapidly rising local neo-Nazi movement widely predicted to win several seats in the national elections due within a year.

The proposals, put forth by the ruling Socialist caretaker government, attracted fewer than half the votes needed to adopt a constitutional amendment.

Credit card crisis to grip Britain, IMF warns

Britain’s credit card debt crisis will get significantly worse in the coming months with a wave of consumer payment defaults, the International Monetary Fund has warned.

The organisation expects £1.5bn of consumer debt across Europe will not be repaid, much of it in Britain which has the highest number of credit card borrowers on the continent.

Analysts say failure to pay credit card bills is likely to increase as unemployment rises and the number of personal insolvencies, which reached 29,774 in the first quarter of the year, continues to rise.

After Iran, Twitter Conspiracy Hits Germany

Ahead of Germany’s upcoming general elections, officials warn against premature announcements of alleged poll results by Twitter subscribers.

Before the state media are allowed to broadcast exit polls, baseless postings regarding poll results could fuel ill-founded theorizations about the outcome of the event, German authorities said on Saturday.

“It would be a disaster if the survey results were released before voting stations close,” federal election commissioner Roderich Egeler was quoted by Zionist-run Der Spiegel magazine as saying.

Egeler and other German officials suggested that in the event of such an incident, many would feel free to contest the official results.

U.S., European Union Try Good-Cop, Bad-Cop Approach

European states are taking a considerably more aggressive line toward Tehran's clerical leaders than the Obama administration as Iran's postelection crisis deepens, fueling the ire of U.S. Republicans and some democracy activists.

But the dynamic also is being welcomed by many European officials involved in Iran diplomacy as an effective approach against Tehran.

Gross Fraud At Nuremberg - An Ugly History

These paragraphs are, of course, only a very brief overview of the innumerable deficiencies of the 'evidence' at Nuremberg. The overwhelming Jewish presence behind the scenes as interrogators, jailers and torturers is covered elsewhere in Irving's excellent, but far from complete, study. The sampling of techniques employed, however, is more than sufficient to demonstrate that truth was never the objective of the orchestrators of the trial. That is the key point in evaluating Nuremberg. All the evidence, real and faked at the great trial, was evidence in pursuit of a pre-determined verdict.

"No one will say this publicly, but the true fact is we are all talking about our exit strategy from Afghanistan. We are getting out. It may take a couple of years, but we are all looking to get out."

German MPs reject Steinmeier’s sanction against Iran

Lawmakers of all parties in German Parliament, except the co-ruling Social Democrats (SPD), slammed Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier for planning to step up sanctions over Iran’s nuclear program, the daily Der Tagesspiegel said Wednesday.

Legislators of the co-governing Christian Democratic Union (CDU) as well as the opposition Free Democratic Party (FDP) and Greens warned that Steinmeier’s new sanction threats would undermine any diplomatic progress in resolving the impasse over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Tehran's "Nuclear Program" is a power station, an activity allowed under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Nobody has found any evidence that Iran is covertly building nuclear weapons underneath their reactor the way Israel is known to be doing underneath Dimona.

Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is pro-Zionist, a hard core supporter of Israel, and is indeed openly of the opinion that Germany's role on the Holocaust means that present day Germans (who had not even been born when WW2 happened) must do what Israel says.

But here is the problem. Israel was saying that Iraq was also secretly building nuclear weapons underneath the power station at Osirik, as Israel does underneath Dimona. Israel bombed Osirik. Following the 2003 invasion international inspectors looked at the riuns and confirmed that there had never been any secret weapons laboratory at Osirik, as Israel has underneath Dimona.

So, why should present day Germans, most of whom were not alive during WW2 and therefore do not bear any responsibility for what happened under the Nazis, obey the will of a foreign power who is so often totally wrong as it flings death and destruction onto its neighbors?

Sarkozy, Merkel Frozen in the Cold War

This is a sad time for France and the rest of Europe. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has decided – without asking the French Parliament and against the majority of the French people – that France must be reintegrated as a military power into NATO’s command. This is not only a coup d’etat, it is also the most reactionary choice you could imagine. In trying to pull it off, Sarkozy is swimming against deep and forceful historical currents in Europe. The New York Times Sarah Lyall TROLLHATTAN, Sweden — Saab Automobile may be just another crisis-ridden car company in an industry full of them. But just as the fortunes of Flint, Mich., are permanently entangled with General Motors, so it is impossible to find anyone in this city in southwest Sweden who is not somehow connected to Saab.

Struggling for its own survival, G.M. has said it will completely pull out of Saab by the end of 2009, a course that Ms. Olofsson, the enterprise minister, described as tantamount to declaring “that they wash their hands of Saab and drop it into the laps of the Swedish taxpayers.”

Ukraine Teeters as Citizens Blame Banks and Government - A Common Theme!

The New York Times CLIFFORD J. LEVY March 1, 2009

KIEV, Ukraine — Steel and chemical factories, once the muscle of Ukraine’s economy, are dismissing thousands of workers. Cities have had days without heat or water because they cannot pay their bills, and Kiev’s subway service is being threatened. Lines are sprouting at banks, the currency is wilting and even a government default seems possible.

The sign held by Vasily Kirilyuk, an unemployed plumber camped out with other antigovernment demonstrators here in the past week, summed up the pervasive frustration: “Get rid of them all,” it said.

Supermarket Cashier Becomes German Anti-Capitalist Hero

Emmely's ascent to nationwide stardom has been dramatic. Even before Tuesday's court date, major papers across Germany carried long features telling her story. The mass-circulation tabloid Bild even put the veteran cashier, who has been working cash registers for 31 years, on its cover. The tone was clear: At a time when fat cats of the financial world have escaped relatively unscathed despite bringing the global economy to its knees, a common grocery store clerk loses her job for a few coins. Emmely quickly came to be seen as a martyr of class conflict.

Yes we are raging - against a Government that spies on its citizens while ignoring the crimes of greedy bankers

That the public is being watched by Big Brother at every turn is deeply alarming. That the innocent were being tracked going about their every day lives while a blind eye was being turned to a financial sector apparently hell-bent on destruction is unforgivable.

Eastern European bailout proposed

Europe's developing economies from Poland to Ukraine are facing their worst economic crisis since the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago. Capital is fleeing Europe's east, sending currencies sliding and threatening the region with deep declines in output and employment, and a deluge of debt defaults. Poland's industrial output in January fell at a painful 15 per cent annual rate; its currency last week hit an all-time low against the Swiss franc.

The Looming Collapse of European Banking

CONCLUSION

The West's economy really is at the edge of a leveraged disaster. The politicians know only one answer: deficit spending. The central bankers have only on significant tool: monetary inflation. The speed of events is increasing.

The markets don't reflect this yet. This gives time to a few people to get out. But the vast majority cannot get out. There are too few escape hatches open.

US, UK, Eurozone Banks Face Collapse: Global Banking System Insolvent

With all the hype from various US dollar bears about the crisis with US banks, few on this side of the Atlantic are paying any attention to happenings in Europe.

For those who look, a strong case can be made that European banks are as bad off if not much worse off than their US counterparts.

Eastern Europe is about to Blow

Eastern Europe is about to blow. If it does, it could take much of the EU with it. It's an emergency situation but there are no easy solutions. The IMF doesn't have the resources for a bailout of this size and the recession is spreading faster than relief efforts can be organized. Finance ministers and central bankers are running in circles trying to put out one fire after another. Its only a matter of time before they are overtaken by events. If one country is allowed to default, the dominoes could begin to tumble through the whole region. This could trigger dramatic changes in the political landscape. The rise of fascism is no longer out of the question.

Czech hospital should pay 3 million to parents for mix-up of kids

The hospital admitted its mistake and offered 600,000 crowns to the families, a sum the parents rejected as too low.

The two girls were born in December 2006. After several months one of the fathers, Libor Broza, applied for a DNA test on suspicion that "his" daughter was not his.

Europe’s winter of discontent

A hurried resolution to the Ukraine-Russia gas war was reached during a visit to Moscow by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko to meet with her Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin this week. Ukraine finally agreed to pay higher European prices for Russian gas in 2010, after a 20 percent discount in 2009.

This accord came in the wake of sharp criticism of Ukraine by European leaders and Putin’s first official visit to Germany as prime minister, where he presented a more ambitious long-term solution to the unending troubles with Ukraine that have left European countries without winter fuel more than once. His proposal involves leading European energy companies forming a consortium with Russia’s Gazprom to ensure that Russian supplies reach their destination.

Russian gas begins to flow into wary Europe

Siberian gas started flowing into the EU yesterday, ending the bitter dispute between Russia and Ukraine that shredded both countries' reputations as fuel suppliers and left Europe desperately seeking to shift its energy policies away from dependence on Russian monopolies.

A new 10-year deal on gas pricing and transit between the Russian and Ukrainian state gas firms, Gazprom and Naftogaz, saw Russia pumping the gas through Ukraine's pipelines to Slovakia in the EU while Kiev allowed the fuel to flow without interruption.

The resumption of supplies appeared to end the worst, so far, of a series of disputes of distinctly political hue between Russia and its former Soviet underling, Ukraine.

Who is hiding the truth?

Ethnic Albanians have committed ghastly crimes in Kosovo and Metohija, and among those that are to be held responsible for the massive murders of Serbs are former commander of the (so-called) Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and Kosovo premier, Ramus Haradinaj and Agim Cheku respetively, the Italian weekly magazine Panorama has set out in an analytical article, publishing for the first time the photos of Serb victims.

Before the (1999) NATO bombing campaign Serbs were accused of being butchers, but as soon the forces of the Atlantic Pact marched into Kosovo in June 1999, they became the victims of an ethnic cleansing, the Milan weekly assessed.
