The Fungus That Makes Mummies

In 1647, construction workers who repair the St. Andrews Church in the small town of Wenzon in the province of Udine province of Italy accidentally broke a tomb in Churchyard. Inside a completely dry body of a person who was seen as an average height and probably wandered during his live days. His body had now fallen to only 33 pounds or about 15 kilos. But curiously, it was not decomposed.

In the next four centuries, up to the present time, 42 bodies have been opened from the cemeteries in the Churchyard. After the burial, all the bodies were reduced to automatic mummification. His skin has become yellowish and the tank looks like a leather. The heart-less muscles have been reduced to thin membranes, whereas internal organs such as kidneys and pancreatic have disappeared. The brain is one-third of its volume. These mummies weigh anywhere from 22 to 44 pounds, and though many changes, the appearance and characteristics of the body are well preserved and fully recognizable.

American Revolutionary Song: Chester - William Billings

Chester was a patriotic anthem composed by William Billings and sung during the American Revolutionary War. Billings wrote the first version of the song for his 1770 songbook The New England Psalm Singer, and made improvements for the version in his The Singing Master's Assistant (1778). It is the latter version that is best known today.

The curious title of the song reflects a common practice of Billings's day, in which tunes were labeled with (often arbitrarily chosen) place names. Billings's song evidently has little more to do with any particular town named Chester than his hymn tune Africa has to do with Africa. With identifiable names for compositions, performers could select different lyrics to sing with the music without creating confusion.
This song would rival Yankee Doodle as the unofficial anthem of the rebel colonies

American Revolutionary War Song:Ballad of the Green Mountain Boys

Ho--all to the borders! Vermonters, come down,
With your britches of deerskin and jackets of brown;
With your red woolen caps and your moccasins come,
To the gathering summons of trumpet and drum.
Come down with your rifle!
Let gray wolf and fox
Howl on in the shadow of primitive rocks;
Let bear feed securely from pig-pen and stall;
Here's two-legged game for your powder and ball.
Then cheer, cheer, the green mountaineer, then cheer, cheer the green mountaineer

On the south came the Hessians, our land to police;
And armed for the battle while canting of peace;
On our east came the British, the red coated band
To hang up our leaders and eat up our land.
Ho--all to the rescue! For Satan shall work
No gain for the legions of Hampshire and York!
They claim our possessions--the pitiful knaves--
The tribute we pay shall be prisons and graves!
Then cheer, cheer, the green mountaineer, then cheer, cheer the green mountaineer

He was born in 1834 in Pedro Sanchez's house in Sinaloa, Mexico. Since birth, Julia was diagnosed with severe genetic status - generalized hypertrichosis lanuginose, and at that time it was unknown

Webmaster's Commentary:

I love it when fact-free liberals get unhinged; it just makes them look, and sound, even goofier than they already genrally are.

But folks, we need to think seriously, and act seriously, but in a humane way, when unaccompanied minors cross our borders.

And how does it happen that unaccompanied minors get past our borders into the US?!? Because the borders into this country are completely porous, and ill-defended. Were they better defended, this wouldn't happen as much, and be far less of a Federal expense.

But unless and until this happens, what do we do with the kids?!? My immediate thought is, find them a foster family, which will ultimately have the goal of adopting these kids, and try not to break up the kids if there are families of siblings.

But if these kids are housed, clothed, and educated by the Federal Government, what is their nationality status, and if they are still considered illegal aliens, how can they legally change that status?!? There needs to be a mechanism toward "earning" American citizenship, particularly if the kid is bright, learning English well, and is the kind of kid who would thrive in a higher educational environment, be that trade school or college.

But what happens to these kids when they turn 18?!? Are they forcibly repatriated to their parent's country of origin, sometimes at great personal risk (think: Honduras)?!?

These are conversations we should ALL be having, at every level of government, particularly in border states, to hammer out a clearer, and more humane, understanding of just what should happen with these children.

Princely Visits

While the British prince was touring the country and uttering the fitting phrases about a "just peace", another prince from overseas was doing the same. Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of President Trump, was also touring the country. He was accompanied by Jason Greenblatt, another Jewish emissary from Trump. This holy pair, who make no secret of their utter contempt for the Palestinians, is supposed to make peace.

How will they succeed where dozens of other initiatives have failed? Why should they have more chance than the dozens who preceded them?

Well, they have a Big Plan. A Plan so Big that cannot be refused. A Secret Plan.

Secret from whom? From the Palestinians, of course. Binyamin Netanyahu was a partner in shaping it. If not actually its author.

Today, several wars later (who is counting?), Israel dominates in different ways all of historical Palestine. And peace seems far, far away.

How Israel’s leaders use targeted killings to try to ‘stop history’

Ronen Bergman's "Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations" is a chronicle, he writes, "of a long string of impressive tactical successes, but also disastrous strategic failures." Tiny Israel, beset by Arab attempts at destruction and the "perpetual menace" of terrorism, developed a highly effective military, arguably the world's best intelligence agencies, and, in turn, "the most robust, streamlined assassination machine in history." ... But at the same time, Bergman said in an interview to coincide with the book's publication, the very success and potency of what are calculated as over 2,700 assassination operations in Israel's 70-year modern history has sometimes led Israeli politicians to eschew true leadership and diplomacy.

Jul 01 06:38

Israel’s secret assassinations

sraeli television recently aired a video of two Israeli soldiers filming themselves in the act of shooting a Palestinian protester at the Gaza boundary while cheering. Filming one's own crimes against humanity - shooting Palestinians for sport - suggests a sense of security in never being held accountable. Even more evidence of this impunity is apparent in Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations by veteran Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman, staff writer for The New York Times Magazine. Prosecutors at the International Criminal Court might want to consider this book Exhibit A if Israeli government and military officials are ever indicted for war crimes ... "Since World War II, Israel has assassinated more people than any other country in the Western world," Bergman writes.

Plot E and American Soldiers’ Brutal Practices in WWII

The Oise-Aisne cemetery, dedicated to the fallen Americans in the First World War, has a small plot impossible to visit in which rest the remains of 94 soldiers executed for committing all kinds of atrocities against the civilian population.

The work of the soldier is always dark and anonymous. It consists, as General George Patton said at the time, in a basic rule: “The object of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other bastard die for his.” As if that were not enough, the story always reminds the high officials, but never the soldiers that shed their blood in Salerno or the fine sand of Normandy. That is why monuments and military cemeteries are so important for the nations like the United States because the names of the combatants allow to honor the memory of soldiers and not to forget them. Resting places such as the cemetery of Coleville, Omaha, are an example of this, hosting more than 10,000 American heroes.

UN Report: Saudi Coalition Behind Most Yemen Child Casualties

The annual “Children and Armed Conflict” report from the United Nations details the deaths of Yemeni children in the Saudi-led invasion. Unsurprisingly, the overwhelming majority of the slain were killed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The UN report verified 552 children killed in 2017 in Yemen. 67% of those children, 370, were directly attributable to the Saudi coalition, predominantly the result of Saudi airstrikes. Saudi airstrikes killing civilians have been an ongoing problem since the invasion.

The report said 83 children were killed in actions by the Houthi rebels, with another 41 killed by fighters loyal to the Saudi-backed government. The others were killed by that government, international allies, and a handful by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government is deeply enmeshed in enabling these Saudi war crimes in Yemen; and as an American who does care, very much, about the future of American foreign policy, I am absolutely outraged at this, and also at the lack of outrage I see in the attitudes of my brother and sister Americans; of course, they can be forgiven, to some degree, for their willful ignorance, but not completely.

After all, when was the last time you saw US military involvement in Yemen covered by the corporate US presstitutes, whose business it is to deflect American awareness from the evil which this country inflicts in so many parts of this planet?!? The short answer is, nearly never.

But I am calling on everyone who doesn't know or understand what is going on here, to take a good hard look at the following compilation of images, and ask themselves: do I really want this being done in my name, and with my tax dollars?!?

Suppressing US War Crimes: The Cold War Denial Machine Lives On

George Burchett’s review of “Wormwood” gives the back story not often heard of the larger Korean War germ warfare story. The American use of bioweapons in Korea is known and accepted as fact by most Cold War scholars outside the US, but domestically, biological warfare remains one of the deepest kept secrets of the Cold War. That secret, even today 66 years after the fact, still has professional gatekeepers. No sooner had Ignatieff’s review of “Wormwood” appeared in that flagship of American liberal letters than the chief US point man on germ war denial, Milton Leitenberg, issued a response letter titled, “No They Didn’t.” In this letter, Leitenberg claims, “Dulles, Helms, et al. absolutely did not order Frank Olson killed because ‘he knew too much about US biological warfare during the Korean War’ because there was no biological warfare carried out by any agency of the US government during the Korean War, or for that matter by anyone else.”

U.S. President Donald Trump told former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in an interview released over the weekend that evangelical Christians are more grateful than Jews for his moving of the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Trump said that the reaction surpised him. “I tell you what, I get more calls of thank you from evangelicals, and I see it in the audiences and everything else, than I do from Jewish people,” Trump said. “And the Jewish people appreciate it but the evangelicals appreciate it more than the Jews.” “It’s not a surprise though Mr. President, because evangelicals are people of the book,” Huckabee replied. “And they believe you kept a promise, were fulfilling really a 3,000-year old commitment to recognize Jerusalem as the capital.” “I think it’s a nice thing to say because it really affects Jewish people in theory more, but as you say people of the book, people of the Bible,” Trump said.

Back in the 1950s, in the midst of the Jim Crow era, Johns Hopkins offered another important service: it was one of the only places where poor blacks could seek medical care.

It’s 1997, and Garry Kasparov is hunched over a chessboard, visibly frustrated. He’s fidgeting in between turns and shaking his head in disbelief as he waits for his opponent to put the final touches on an inevitable victory. Finally, Kasparov makes his move, stands up and races away from the board. He raises his arms, astounded that he was beaten by a machine.

Why America’s Torture-Chief Now Runs The CIA

On May 17th, the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee voted 10 to 5 to approve Gina Haspel as America’s new chief of the Cenral Intelligence Agency. Back in 2002, she had headed the CIA’s “black site” in Thailand where she ordered and oversaw the torturing of Abu Zubaydah, trying to force him to provide evidence that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks, but Zubaydah had no such evidence and wasn’t even able credibly to concoct a story that President George W. Bush could use to ‘justify’ America’s invading Iraq in response to 9/11.

Lazarus was neither a Founding Father nor a towering figure in American history. Her words have never been law and her poem is not attached to the Constitution. It’s simply the expression of one 19th century socialist. The poem wasn’t even placed on the Statue of Liberty when the monument was unveiled in 1886, which of course was a gift from France to the United States.

The idea that Lazarus’s poem is somehow equivalent to the Constitution, the Declaration or the writings of the Founders is ridiculous. Nor has American migration resembled the picture Lazarus describes in her writing.

The Rockefeller-Connected Cronyist Origins Of Social Security

the time Social Security was being developed, about 15 percent of workers were covered by a company pension plan, with a little more than 300 – mostly large – businesses offering such plans. In his testimony before the Senate Finance Committee in 1935, Brown declared that government compulsion of universal employer “contributions” to old-age pensions would make “uniform throughout industry a minimum cost of providing old-age security and protect(s) the more liberal employer now providing pensions from the competition of the employer who otherwise fires the old person without a pension.”

The Entire Western World Lives In Cognitive Dissonance

Millions of people have been separated from families by death inflicted by Washington, and for almost two decades protests have been almost nonexistent. No public outcry stopped George W. Bush, Obama, and Trump from clear and indisputable illegal acts defined in international law established by the US itself as war crimes against the inhabitants of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia. We can add to this an eighth example: The military attacks by the US armed and supported neo-Nazi puppet state of Ukraine against the breakaway Russian provinces.

The massive deaths, destruction of towns, cities, infrastructure, the maiming, physical and mental, the dislocation that has sent millions of refugees fleeing Washington’s wars to overrun Europe, where governments consist of a collection of idiot stooges who supported Washington’s massive war crimes in the Middle East and North Africa, produced no outcry comparable to Trump’s immigration policy.

James Mattis Is a War Criminal: I Experienced His Attack on Fallujah Firsthand

While reporting from inside Fallujah during that siege, I personally witnessed women, children, elderly people and ambulances being targeted by US snipers under Mattis' command. Needless to say, all of these are war crimes.

During the November siege of Fallujah later that same year, which I also covered first-hand, more than 5,000 Iraqi civilians were killed. Most were buried in mass graves in the aftermath of the siege.

Mosques were deliberately targeted by the US military, hospitals bombed, medical workers detained, ambulances shot at, cease-fires violated, media repressed, and the use of depleted uranium was widespread. All of these are, again, war crimes.

Rape And Abuse of Japanese Women By American Soldiers During WW2

Japanese historian Oshiro Masayasu writes about the large scale rape by American soldiers in Okinawa in 1945. He reports the incident at a village in Motobu peninsula where GIs landed and found only women, children and old folks there. What followed was abominable. There was a hunt in broad daylight for Japanese women who were ravaged mercilessly.

Allied soldiers 'raped hundreds of thousands of German women' after WW2

Hundreds of thousands of German women were raped by British, American and French soldiers after the end of the Second World War, a German historian has claimed.

In a new book, Professor Miriam Gerhardt, a well-regarded German academic, challenges the established view that Soviet troops were responsible for the vast majority of rape cases in occupied Germany.

“The assumption that Western Allied soldiers would not do such a thing turned out not to be true,” she said, to the broadcaster Deutsche Welle. “In the method and violence of rap there was no different between American GIs and the Red Army, as far as I can see.”

The GIs who raped France: We know about the mass rape of German women by Stalin's soldiers. Now a new book reveals American troops committed thousands of rapes on French women they were 'liberating'

While the Germans had French girlfriends, the American military had a different approach.

As Professor Roberts says: ‘My book seeks to debunk an old myth about the GI, thought of as a manly creature that always behaved well — the GIs were having sex anywhere and everywhere.’

In total, it is estimated that some 14,000 women were raped by American GIs in Western Europe from 1942 to 1945. In France, 152 American soldiers were tried for rape, of whom 29 were hanged.

‘Normandy women launched a wave of rape accusations against American soldiers,’ Roberts writes, ‘threatening to destroy the erotic fantasy at the heart of the operation. The spectre of rape transformed the GI from rescuer-warrior to violent intruder’.

Sleeping with the enemy: Collaborator girls of the German-occupied Europe, 1940-1944

It’s 1942 and the Germans occupy and dominate the vast majority of Europe. They were there, on the scene, and the local men either were not (dead, in prison camps, in hiding) or were greatly diminished in status. Like soldiers of every army of every period of history, as soon as the Germans got comfortable, they started scouting around for women. And, as always in times of military occupation, there were willing women to be found.

Romantic men’s hairstyle from the 1960s–1970s

Men’s hair in the seventies was a joy to behold. There was a little bit of variation throughout the decade, from long to short, blow-dried and bouffant to spiked and bleached, with “overgrown” being the look that most people associate with the decade. Hairstyling and grooming was no longer simply for women – hair products were now marketed to men, and many happily used them. Moustaches and mutton chops were in, even fake facial hair was worn and accepted. It was a hairy decade!

I Remember When America Was A Free Country

I remember when America was a free country. You could get on an airliner without an ID. Driving licenses didn’t even have photos. If a friend was coming through your city on a flight and had a few hours layover, you could meet them inside the airport for lunch or dinner. You could meet friends, children, and relatives at the gate or see them off at the gate. Parents could actually put children on the plane and grandparents could take them off.

Your flight ticket was good at any airline. If something happened to your flight or you missed it, you could use the ticket on another airline going to the same place. On international flights you were permitted two free stopovers prior to your destination. If you were going to Athens, Greece, for example, you could first visit Paris and then Rome. It worked both ways, over and back. So one air ticket, six cities.

The West Really Hates China!

It appears that the Western public, both relatively ‘educated’ and thoroughly ignorant, could, after some persuasion, agree on certain very basic facts - for instance that Russia has historically been a victim of countless European aggressions, or that countries like Venezuela, Cuba, Iran or North Korea (DPRK) have never in modern history crossed the borders of foreign nations in order to attack, plunder or to overthrow governments.

OK, certainly, it would take some ‘persuasion’, but at least in specific circles of the otherwise hopelessly indoctrinated Western society, certain limited dialogue is still occasionally possible.

China is different. There is no ‘mercy’ for China, in the West. >>>

Deportation of the Roma people from Nazi Germany, 1938-1940

For centuries, Romani tribes had been subject to antiziganist persecution and humiliation in Europe. They were stigmatized as habitual criminals, social misfits, and vagabonds. After Hitler’s rise to power, legislation against the Romani was increasingly based upon a rhetoric of racism. Policy originally based on the premise of “fighting crime” was redirected to “fighting a people”. Targeted groups were no longer determined by juridical grounds. Instead, they were victims of racialized policy.

The propaganda posters that sold World War I to the American public, 1914-1918

The United States entered World War I in 1917 as an associated power on the allied side of Britain and France. By the time that World War I came around, the United States was a leader in the recently discovered art of movie making and the new profession of commercial advertising. Such newly discovered technologies played an instrumental role in the shaping of the American mind and the altering of public opinion into a pro-war position. The government didn’t have time to waste while its citizens made up their minds about joining the fight. How could ordinary Americans be convinced to participate in the war “over there”?

Obama in Political Bind Over Unaccompanied Immigrant Minors

Flashback, 2014:

President Barack Obama asked Congress for $3.7 billion Tuesday to handle the thousands of child migrants on the southern border, and he’d like lawmakers to treat the emergency request as a simple matter of human compassion.

“Our hope and expectation consistent with the incoming we have received from both parties is that this will be treated as the urgent humanitarian situation that it is,” said a White House official who briefed reporters about the request.

But nothing is quite so simple in Washington these days. By sending the request to Congress, Republicans, who are outraged over Obama’s immigration policies, will now have an opportunity to express their fury in must-sign legislation, possibly attaching policy riders or demanding budget cuts elsewhere.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why Aren't THESE People Considered For Asylum In The United States?

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is webpage on asylum seekers states, in part,"Every year people come to the United States seeking protection because they have suffered persecution or fear that they will suffer persecution due to Political opinion." I wonder if people like Jeremy Bedford Turner (in jail for saying that there is inordinate "Jewish control" in the UK), or holocaust skeptics Monika Schaefer and Ursula Haverbeck (both currently imprisoned in Europe), Catholic Bishop Richard Williamson, (who was previously arrested for a TV interview he did in which he cast doubt on the 'gas chambers.') Can they get asylum in the U.S. based on their fear of prosecution for their controversial political opinions? WHY NOT??! Recall that the late Ernst Zundel not only was not granted asylum, but he was nabbed by U.S. homeland security while living peacefully with his elderly American wife in Tennessee,

What’s Really Happening When Asylum-Seeking Families Are Separated?

"In other cases, we see no communication that the parent knows that their child is to be taken away. Instead, the officers say, “I’m going to take your child to get bathed.” That’s one we see again and again. “Your child needs to come with me for a bath.” The child goes off, and in a half an hour, twenty minutes, the parent inquires, “Where is my five-year-old?” “Where’s my seven-year-old?” “This is a long bath.” And they say, “You won’t be seeing your child again.” Sometimes mothers—I was talking to one mother, and she said, “Don’t take my child away,” and the child started screaming and vomiting and crying hysterically, and she asked the officers, “Can I at least have five minutes to console her?” They said no. In another case, the father said, “Can I comfort my child?

As the debate swarms over illegal immigration, Americans on both the left and the right are at each other’s throats pointing fingers over who’s responsible. In the meantime, what was a “conspiracy theory” a month ago is now being confirmed by the very people accused of keeping people in cages. One question, however, has just been raised which gives one a dark and sickly feeling inside when thinking about the potential answers to it: “Where are the girls?”

There is something particularly disturbing about the minuscule amount of footage recently released by HHS last week—it only shows boys, and only boys age 10 and up. Where are the girls? Where are the toddlers? Where are the babies?

Could it be that HHS is only releasing footage of these older boys to portray an image of less suffering and compliant young men in order to keep the public happy? Are the places where girls are kept so disturbing that none of this footage can be released?

Webmaster's Commentary:

The profoundly stupid, and counter-productive "war on drugs" will not change, until the US government follows the Portuguese model, which has decriminalized all drugs, and pushed counseling. The results have been staggeringly great, in terms of turning people away from addiction.

Portugal: what happened after their decriminalization of drugs, from weed to heroin

However, this is very much not likely to happen in the US, because there is too much money to be made by the criminal cartel, which, of course, supports the criminal political cartels here.

13 Facts the Media ‘Pros’ Don’t Want You to Know About ‘Family Border Separation’

Trump’s Only Choice Is to Separate Illegal Alien Families
When an illegal alien crosses the border into the U.S., he is a lawbreaker, and, like any lawbreaker (including American citizens), he is put into the criminal justice system.

This is the law.

Obviously, when an illegal alien is in custody, he is housed in an adult detention center. For obvious reasons, it would be illegal for Trump to “reunite” this family by allowing children to live in adult detention centers.

Keep in mind that when we are this early in the process, we do not even know if this is a real family unit. It is not uncommon for illegal aliens (including criminals) to pretend the children they are traveling with are their own. They do so in the hope this special family status will result in them being released (this madness is known as “catch and release”) into America with nothing more than a court date — a date many never show for, most especially those with criminal intent.
