Syrian Refugees Find Russia Route to Europe

While thousands of refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia and other countries reach Europe by boat from Turkey or Libya, where hundreds die, a new route is slowly gaining popularity. Refugees from Syria find their way up via Russia to the Arctic, where they cross the border into Norway.
Some 20 migrants per day cross the border between Russia and Norway at Storskog near Kirkenes.
At two hours from the Russian city of Murmansk, It is the only legal border crossing between the two countries.
The online newspaper thelocal.no reports that so far this year, 133 asylum seekers have entered Norway though Storskog.
“Since July and August more people are crossing,” Garan Stenseth, the chief police superintendent of the Storskog frontier post, told RFI in a phone interview. “They seem to be healthy and happy to be in de Schengen area and in Norway, but it is difficult to compare since this is a new situation for us because and we don’t have any experience from previous years,” he says.

Czech Prime Minister says migrant flow from Ukraine might dramatically increase

The Czech Republic is a target country for migrants from Eastern Europe, first of all, from Ukraine, Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said in an interview with Pravo online on Sunday. "If people in Ukraine are dissatisfied with its development or face a threat of ongoing war, they will come here, and we will have to take care of them," he said.
The current migration crisis, according to Sobotka, had mostly hurt countries of Western Europe, which were target countries for migrants from North Africa and the Middle East. The Czech Republic, as the entire post-socialist region in Central Europe, in his words, was seen by these people as a transit path to the West.

Israel's Prime Minister rejected calls to open its borders to refugees from Syria

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the call by the opposition to take in refugees from Syria and promised to further strengthen the border with neighbouring countries to combat terrorism and illegal migration.
The Prime Minister rejected the accusations of indifference. He recalled, in particular, that Israel has provided medical assistance to about a thousand Syrians wounded in the civil war.
"But Israel is a small, very small country, which is devoid of demographic and geographic depth. Therefore, we must control our borders, protecting them from illegal immigrants and terrorists," Netanyahu said, speaking at Sunday's Cabinet meeting.

Marine Le Pen: migrants flee from death, brought by French

Marine Le Pen, leader of the French "National Front" party called migrants that die trying to reach Europe to be victims of the EU countries authorities.
Commenting on the photo of a Syrian boy, who died not far from the Turkish city of Bodrum, Le Pen said that, "the photo evidences a terrible responsibility of our authorities, as there are thousands, dozens of thousands of migrants who risk their lives every day trying to overcome this deadly route just because the EU has already adopted a certain quantity of people".
Marine Le Pen noted that "migrants flee from death, which was brought by our (French) leaders", meaning the French involvement in the settlement of the Libyan conflict under the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy, and "bad choice" as for Syria, where the current President Francois Holland "should have used diplomacy ahead of weaponry".

Europe’s migration crisis caused by US policy of imposing its standards — Putin

The current migration crisis in Europe was absolutely expected, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at the Eastern Economic Forum on Friday. The crisis is rooted in the wrong foreign policy that the West and namely the United States conducts in the Middle East and Northern Africa, Putin said, reminding that Russia warned its partners about the possible consequences several years ago.
EU continues dialogue with Moscow on migration issues - http://tass.ru/en/russia/818636 The diplomat said Russia has rich experience in this issue and is also ready to consult other countries. He reminded that after the collapse of the Soviet Union many former fellow countrymen came to Russia. However, the EU has frozen all the official contacts on a broad range of issues with Russia amid the events in Ukraine, Chizhov said.

Russian President Putin has said in a speach that the current human tsunami of refugees into Europe was “absolutely expected” and that he himself has publicly predicted such an outcome from “the West’s” misguided meddling in the Middle East and North Africa. Putin’s statements are correct as far as they go, but they don’t go far enough.

Regime Change Refugees: On the Shores of Europe

snip: Children like Aylan Kurdi are disposable in the world’s imagination. Over a thousand Syrian children have died in this conflict. Tens of thousands of children die in conflicts around the world. The United Nations estimates that half of all deaths in conflict zones are of children. In 1995, UNICEF reported that two million children had died in conflicts over the previous decade. The rate has not decreased. The statistic harms the consciousness. But it is the picture of Aylan Kurdi that has unsettled our ethics – does the world really care about the damage done to children as a result of war and diabolical trade policies? The evidence suggests that the world does not care at all. What care there is comes in the brief instance when we glance at a photograph such as that of the dead body of Aylan Kurdi. He breaks our heart. But he will do little to change our politics.

‘West creates refugees by destroying Islamic nations’ – Chechen leader

The head of Russia’s Chechen Republic claims the current asylum seeker crisis in European countries originated in the aggressive policies of the United States and the EU. He also called upon all Muslim nations to jointly fight the root of the problem.

“If today no one rises against the inhumane policies of the Western countries, tomorrow the disaster may come to any Muslim country. I call upon you to urgently discuss this problem, to develop a unified position and to save the lives of thousands of people.
Europe and the USA are not simply refusing to act, they instigate the tragedies of millions of people by destroying the economy of Islamic countries and starting wars in Muslim regions of the world, he added.

How The Trans-Agenda Seeks To Redefine Everyone

Did you think only women get pregnant? Or only women get abortions? Planned Parenthood and NARAL—ironically both pro-abortion organizations that self-identify as champions of women’s rights—may soon be trying to change your mind about that.
It’s About Control, Not Rights

The transgender movement has strong totalitarian overtones that Americans (especially certain senators) don’t fully understand. How else to describe a crusade with such far-reaching consequences for First Amendment rights? The legal destruction of gender distinctions will inevitably dissolve family autonomy, thereby uprooting freedom of association. Free expression becomes “hate speech” if one doesn’t fall into line with the directives of the transgender lobby or its pronoun protocol. Freedom of religion takes a direct hit any way you look at it.

Trump holds closed-door meeting with Hispanic leader

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump met with Javier Palomarez, CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, behind closed doors Tuesday to discuss a number of issues important to Hispanic voters.

According to a statement by USHCC, the meeting was requested by Trump and lasted more than one hour at the billionaire's Fifth Avenue office building in New York City. Although USHCC has previously denounced Trump's rhetoric–particularly on the topic of immigration — as "harsh" and insensitive," Palomarez reportedly agreed to the meeting after Trump's advisers stressed that the pair's disagreement was "based on the media's mischaracterization of his stances."

"We wanted to hear Mr. Trump clearly articulate his views, away from the public spectacle, the media, and the debate floor," read the statement.

MIGRANTS, IMMIGRANTS OR REFUGEES? DEBUNKING DEHUMANIZING PROPAGANDA

Well guess what — it’s too late! The crisis already happened and it’s the biggest global displacement since World War II.?

United Kingdom — DISCLAIMER: I just saw a photo taken inside a recently discovered lorry that contained 71 decomposing bodies. And I am angry — very angry.

No one really knows how those people ended up in the lorry found in Austria, but police are claiming to have since arrested some of the trafficking gang. It is almost impossible to imagine what strips someone of their humanity to such a point that they knowingly load 59 men, eight women, and four children into a giant metal box with no ventilation and wire the doors shut.

The assumption so far is that many of those found dead were Syrian.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, it is the US enabled and fought wars which is causing this massive displacement.

And these people, desperate to get to some point of safety, are simply "collateral damage" to the US government.

Shock therapy: Notes on the humanitarian invasion of Europe

Globalization has already spiritually or physically destroyed tenths of countries, New World Order has annihilated almost all Arabic worlds and neo-colonialism is exploiing what is left of traditional and humanistic societies. Europe turns into cesspool of the world. The United States of Europe: A few decades to go

The American propaganda machine never stops trumpeting about the imminent Russian threat. The American political elite portrays Russia as a state that threatens Europe in the first place. Ethnic activist and “Constitutional crusader” Glenn Greenwald demands lawlessness on immigration

I write this piece with a heavy heart. As I have previously written, I have long held a great deal of respect for the lawyer, constitutional expert, and brilliant polemicist Glenn Greenwald. Seen from Europe, his articulate defense of civil liberties and a peaceful foreign policy presented a tantalizing alternative of another America to that of the swaggering, neoconservative-dominated administration of George W. Bush. But, as time goes on, the evidence mounts that Greenwald is marked by ethnic biases, conscious or not, which lead him to engage in vicious attacks against Anglo-American identities and, most seriously, to condone illegal immigration that is enormously threatening to the traditional peoples of the West.

Donald Trump’s new position paper on immigration makes it official: He is easily the best presidential candidate on border security and immigration since Pat Buchanan. And we can be sure he is not a bait-and-switch politician who excites supporters with a few sensible ideas and then betrays them. Mr. Trump has single-handedly made immigration the key issue of this election. As tragedies shock Europe, a bigger refugee crisis looms in the Middle East

While the world’s attention is fixed on the tens of thousands of Syrian refugees swarming into Europe, a potentially far more profound crisis is unfolding in the countries of the Middle East that have borne the brunt of the world’s failure to resolve the Syrian war.

Those reaching Europe represent a small percentage of the 4 million Syrians who have fled into Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Iraq, making Syria the biggest single source of refugees in the world and the worst humanitarian emergency in more than four decades.

As the fighting grinds into a fifth year, the realization is dawning on aid agencies, the countries hosting the refugees and the Syrians themselves that most won’t be going home anytime soon, presenting the international community with a long-term crisis that it is ill-equipped to address and that could prove deeply destabilizing, for the region and the wider world.

Mass Immigration Has Left Britain ‘Unrecognisable’, Says Nigel Farage

Mass immigration has left Britain an “unrecognisable” country that many people would not want to leave to their children and grandchildren, Nigel Farage has said.

West About to Surrender to Barbarian Invasions of Our Age

"Day and night, hordes of people with fake IDs (or no IDs whatsoever) storm Europe’s undefended borders. Back in the day, they would’ve been stopped and forced to go back by the police, army or border control. Now, however, European warships are used to safely escort the migrants to safe harbors, where they are provided with food, shelter and are allowed to obtain refugee status," says the professor.

Mr. Jensen points out that while there were many migrations in the past, like the migrations of Europeans to the US, Canada and Australia, as well as migrations within Europe itself, things were quite different as migrants had no welfare system to rely on and had to fend for themselves.

U.S. Police Routinely Travel to Israel to Learn Methods of Brutality and Repression

Political commentator John Miranda recently stated that police brutality is directly linked to the training some officers receive in Israel.

In Denmark, human migration used to be a thing of the past, but not anymore, says Bent Jensen, Ph.D., a well-known Danish historian.

"We are witnessing a thing that never previously occurred in history," warns Jensen. "The voluntary surrender of an entire civilization."

Love thy neighbour: The Texas town welcoming undocumented migrants

In 2014, the number of people crossing the southern border into the US suddenly shot upwards: more than 130,000 refugees from Central America arrived; almost half were under 18, and travelling alone. They were fleeing persistent and growing violence – and continuing poverty – in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Most of them forded the Rio Grande – wading if it was shallow, or paddling across in inflatable boats – and arrived in Texas. Rather than sneaking through the underbrush, these border-crossers turned themselves in to the border patrol at the first opportunity – hoping they would be welcomed as refugees. They came in such great numbers that they overwhelmed the existing border patrol facilities – small lockups, not intended to hold people for more than a few days. Soon, new arrivals were being housed in offices, aeroplane hangars and anywhere else the agency could find beds, or even empty patches of floor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem NO ONE in US government wants to really address is, why are these people fleeing their country of origin, because they know they cannot go back?!?

I will give you an answer in just 3 words, as is it is for displaced Syrians, desperately fleeing their country and attempting to get to Europe for sanctuary and refugee status: US foreign policy.

As reported at the North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA) at their website, nacla.org:

During his brief visit to Costa Rica in May 2013, President Obama appeared eager to downplay the U.S. regional security agenda, emphasizing instead trade relations, energy cooperation, and youth programs. “So much of the focus ends up being on security,” he complained during a joint press conference with his Costa Rican counterpart Laura Chinchilla. “But we also have to recognize that problems like narco-trafficking arise in part when a country is vulnerable because of poverty, because of institutions that are not working for the people, because young people don’t see a brighter future ahead.” Asked by a journalist about the potential use of U.S. warships to counter drug-trafficking, Obama was adamant: “I’m not interested in militarizing the struggle against drug trafficking.” Human rights organizations from Central America, Mexico, and the United States see the administration’s regional security policy very differently. In a letter sent to Obama and the region’s other presidents last year, over 145 civil society organizations called out U.S. policies that “promote militarization to address organized crime.” These policies, the letter states, have only resulted in a “dramatic surge in violent crime, often reportedly perpetrated by security forces themselves. Human rights abuses against our families and communities are, in many cases, directly attributable to failed and counterproductive security policies that have militarized our societies in the name of the ‘war on drugs.’” The surge in U.S. security assistance has coincided with a notable regional increase in the militarization of law enforcement activities. Starting in 2007, former President Felipe Calderón of Mexico began deploying tens of thousands of troops as part of his government’s crackdown on drugs and organized crime. In El Salvador troops were deployed in the streets in 2009 and their presence was increased in 2011. In 2011 and 2012 Salvadoran president Mauricio Funes appointed active and inactive military officers to top security posts, breaking with the tradition since the country’s 1992 peace accords of keeping these posts in civilian hands. In Guatemala, meanwhile, over 21,000 army troops have taken up policing missions, often far outnumbering the number of police personnel in the areas where they are deployed. According to the Center for International Policy (CIP) approximately 40% of Guatemala’s security-related posts have been filled by former military officers, since former army chief Otto Perez Molina’s 2012 ascension to the presidency. * U.S. security funding to Honduras was briefly suspended following the June 2009 military coup. But by the following year the United States had resumed funding at a higher rate than before the coup, even though the Center for Justice and International Law noted that “high-ranking Army officers or former members of the Army against whom complaints were brought for their participation in the coup d’état, are occupying executive positions in government offices.” In November 2011 the Honduran government began sending military patrols into the streets to fight common crime, and in August 2013 a new Military Police for Public Order was created, tasked with cracking down on gang activity. Military involvement in policing duties had been prohibited under the Honduran constitution, but in January 2014 the country’s legislature amended the constitution to permit a military police force. Though the U.S. government has remained silent regarding military involvement in law enforcement activities, the steady increase of U.S. assistance to national armed forces has, if anything, been an indicator of tacit U.S. support. But the U.S. role in militarization of national police forces has been direct as well. In 2011 and 2012, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Foreign-deployed Advisory Support Team (FAST)—which had previously carried out military-style missions in Afghanistan—set up camp in Honduras to train a local counternarcotics police unit and help plan and execute drug interdiction operations in the Mosquitia, a remote region in eastern Honduras that has recently become a hub for the transit of drug shipments northward. Supported by U.S. helicopters mounted with high caliber machine guns, these operations were nearly indistinguishable from military missions, and locals routinely referred to the DEA and Honduran police agents as “soldados” (soldiers). According to The New York Times, five “commando style squads” of FAST teams have been deployed across Central America to train and support local counternarcotics units. In July 2013, the Honduran government created a new “elite” police unit called the Intelligence Troop and Special Security Group, or TIGRES (Spanish for “tigers”). The unit, which human rights groups contend is military in nature, has been deployed in tandem with the new military police force and has received training in military combat tactics from both U.S. and Colombian Special Forces units.

In short, these refugees are running away from brutal situations created directly by US foreign policy.

And the US government is about to reap the whirlwind regarding these policies. When a government sows chaos and oppression in foreign countries to achieve a good geopolitical outcome for the 1%, there will be consequences.

Just ask Angela Merkel, desperate as foreign refugees, fleeing from the US government's wars or US-enabled wars, are streaming into Germany in order to achieve refugee status, and the German people are getting furious about the refugee situation.

Just ask the Governors of any US/Mexico border states, and they will tell you that there is rage growing among its citizens as to illegal aliens streaming across their borders, for whom there are no financial assets with which to help them.

But please, let's put the blame where it belongs; on a US foreign policy which coddles dictators (known in DC as "OT", or "our thugs") who suppress their own people brutally, and who are, no doubt, making money hand over fist in the drug trade.

Unfortunately, sanity and US foreign policy have not had a good on-going relationship for many, many years now.

FLASHBACK - United Nations Pushes the Refugee Scam

At the least, the Obama Administration provoked the immigration crisis in what used to be the American Southwest through its Administrative Amnesty and advocacy of the so-called DREAM Act. Illegals are coming because they know they will not be deported — in fact they will be rewarded for their lawbreaking.

However, there is also evidence to suggest that the Obama Administration deliberately engineered the swarm, as shown by a federal advertisement for “escort services” for “unaccompanied alien children” posted in January of this year. [Gov’t Confirms Authenticity of Contract Request for ‘Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children’ at the Border, by Sara Carter, The Blaze, June 20, 2014]

Nonetheless, the United Nations, which can always be counted on to try to make life worse for the historic American nation, is now flapping its hands and insisting that this is a “refugee crisis.”

Migration of peoples underway: Rising Africa, declining Europe

The UN has strongly criticised Europe's handling of the growing migrant crisis, calling it ineffective. The numbers of desperate migrants heading to Europe has surged ... and so far, EU leaders have been unable to present a plan to tackle the crisis.Hugh Bronson, vice chairman of the Berlin branch of the Alternative for Germany party, says Germany is simply not ready to cope with increasing influx of migrants.

The Sinking of the USS America

Illegals streaming across the United States borders and then vanishing into our country is a huge, ugly truth the professional politicians do not want to talk about other than to point their fingers at the “other guy,” and launch into a speech about how hard they work to secure our borders. Heck…Senator John McCain pulls this trick every election cycle here in Arizona! The professional politicians, and their handlers, are absolutely appalled and pissed-off that Donald Trump is talking about the carefully crafted agenda to re-colonize our country away from the America we have all known, and into a third-world status nation dutifully taking our place in the New-World Order. We are purposefully being redesigned as Europe has with millions of illegals who absolutely have no intention to accept our culture, our values, our American principles and heritage. Heck…the professional politicians have no intention to make them accept our culture, values, or American heritage.
