Netanyahu: The World Has Yet to Blame Iran for Lebanon Attack

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke on Sunday evening with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and noted that to this point, there has been no condemnation of Iran for last week’s attacks near the Israel-Lebanon border.

Globalism Wins as Israel Plans “Free Trade” With Putin, Beijing

As the world is increasingly divided up into geographic “regions” under regional regimes cobbled together under the guise of pseudo-“free trade,” Israeli authorities are now quietly working to create what they call “free trade zones” with both the Communist Chinese regime and the Kremlin-dominated Eurasian Economic Union (member countries shown in green). The negotiations, officially announced this week, come as globalist plotters around the world accelerate their now-open efforts to subvert national sovereignty at a regional level — all on the road toward what top officials from Beijing and Moscow to London and Washington, D.C., regularly and openly refer to as their “New World Order.”

The rise of 'pro-Israelism' in American politics

The US-Israel special relationship is acknowledged universally as the unswayable force of politics in the Middle East. The theme is confessed ritually by every US president and Israeli prime minister, who have all claimed, more or less, that "the bond between Israel and the United States is rooted in more than our shared national interests; it's rooted in the shared values and shared stories of our people."

Commitment to this article of faith is a litmus test for anyone hoping to exercise power in American politics. Minor deviations can and do have major political consequences, a fact acknowledged last year by the conservative American commentator Tom Friedman, who disclosed that the first President Bush paid a massive political price for standing up to Israel back in 1990; Bush asserted US foreign policy towards Israeli settlements by conditioning $10 billion worth of loan guarantees on a total cessation of settlement construction. He was not re-elected for a second term.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There were other factors at work in that election. George H. W. Bush was in serious trouble. He had been able to hold the investigation into Iran-Contra at a distance, but he also knew that he would not be able to hold off the White House connection for another four years. So he arranged for the White House to go to the one Democrat he knew would keep the lid on the secret, then Democratic Governor of the state that was the US end of the guns and drugs pipeline, Bill Clinton.

But pissing off Israel didn't help.

Israel claims Iran sanctions a result of Israeli pressure

Israeli Intelligence and Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said on Sunday that the sanctions imposed on Iran were a result of Israeli efforts in this direction, Anadolu agency reported.

The minister also said that these sanctions have nothing to do with the interim agreement with Iran and governments of world powers known as the P5+1.

"Israel is seeking the full end of Iran's nuclear programme, not part of it," Steinitz told Israeli radio.

Professor Sues University of Illinois Over Firing for “Uncivil” Gaza Tweets

A professor who was fired from a tenured position at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign because of his tweets criticizing the Israeli government’s bombing of Gaza last year has filed a civil rights suit against the University and its top officials, saying that his firing violated his First Amendment right to free speech and other constitutional rights, and basic principles of academic freedom.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In an honest court system this guy would win, because the tweets in question were part of his private life, not his conduct while on campus. Israel's supporters pressured the university into firing him to try to scare other academics into obedient silence regarding Israel in their own private lives. If Steven Salaita wins his case and there is a huge settlement, the floodgates will open and Israel will find itself facing the reality of a nation where freedom of speech is reaffirmed.

BEX ALERT - Support Of Israel Reason House Was Tagged With Swastikas, Frat Says

On Saturday morning – the holiest day of the week for Jews – swastikas spray painted in red on their Jewish frat house were the last thing these brothers expected to wake up to.

“I’m a freshman so I’ve never had to deal with such outward show of hate towards me and my people,” Itai Ofir said.

Ofir and his Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi call it anti-Semitism at its worst.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is another obvious hate-crime hoax. The reason is simple. Other than Israel, nobody gives a damn about the Swastika any more! It's ancient history, and more to the point, it is a symbol of the side that lost WW2.

When you were a kid playing cops and robbers, or cowboys and Indians, you wanted to be on the winning side, either the cops or the cowboys. The smaller kids would have to be bullied into playing the Indians or the robbers. That is because people want to be on the winning side. Nobody wants to pretend to be the losers, and were it not for Israel constantly wagging the Nazis for propaganda purposes, they would be fading into historical obscurity which is where they belong.

Israel: promised land for Jews … as long as they’re not black?

At the time, these ‘rescue’ missions were mired in controversy. Hailed by some Zionists as the inevitable homecoming of African Jews to the ‘birthplace’ of Judaism, to others it was a cynical ploy by the Israeli government to alter the demographics of Palestine. The airlifts were, literally, a means of importing Jews to the contested land en masse, no matter where they were from, in an effort to ‘improve’ the ratio of immigrant Israelis to native Palestinians. But now, twenty years on, how well have Ethiopian Jews assimilated into Israeli society? Has their communal story been one of success and full integration or have they been used primarily to boost Israel’s policy of colonising more of Palestine; to provide a ready pool of conscripts for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF); to provide a workforce for low-status manual labour; and to be treated like relative outcasts in the principally white Jewish community of Israel?

A perennial PR theme of the Syrian regime since the civil war and uprising erupted in March 2011 was that the opposition was all Islamist extremists and Al-Qaeda, and that there were no secular or democratic forces involved in the uprising against the government.

On Monday, in an interview with Foreign Affairs magazine, Bashar Al-Assad reiterated this accusation. He also alleged Israel is helping Al-Qaeda in Syria. He said that some Syrians joke, semi-seriously: "How can you say that Al-Qaeda doesn't have an air force? They have the Israeli air force." Death of arms salesman in Saudi Arabia casts suspicions on Israeli company Elbit

An arms salesman with an Elbit Systems US subsidiary has died under mysterious circumstances in Saudi Arabia.

Cristopher Cramer of New Hampshire-based Kollsman died on 15 January after a “three story tumble from the window of the Sahara Makarim Hotel in the city of Tabuk” according to a Fox News report this week. Kollsman is a subsiduary of Elbit’s US branch.

The company told Cramer’s family that he had committed suicide, a claim the family disputed pointing to panicked voicemails and text messages he sent in the hours prior to his death.

According to the Fox report, Cramer texted an associate saying, “I’m at the Marakim tabuk hotel in Saudi. I think something bad is going to happen to me tonight. Please contact state dept ASAP. Bad things were said.” Cramer also left several voicemails with his friend and family attorney “saying he was in danger and to call the State Department.”

FLASHBACK - Top Israeli archaeologists contest Jewish ties to Jerusalem

Top Israeli archaeologist Israel Finkelstein has denied the existence of Jewish roots in the city of Jerusalem, contrary to Israel’s claims that have prompted continued Judaization of the city.

Finkelstein, a professor at Tel Aviv University, said Jewish archaeologists have failed to unearth historic sites to support some of the stories in the Torah. Among those stories are the Jewish Exodus, the forty-year wandering in the Sinai desert, and Joshua’s victory over the Canaanites.

He also said there was no archaeological evidence that concludes that the alleged Temple of Solomon ever existed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

See also An exodus which was merely a myth

The fact is that the Torah, or Old Testament, was pretty much copied from older stories. There was no such thing as copyright in those days, after all. It is well established that the story of Noah and the Great Flood was lifted from the much earlier Epic of Gilgamesh. There are other examples as well, such as the story of Job. It would be foolish to assume that other aspects of the book were not also copied from other, now lost, sources.

Why Benjamin Netanyahu Lost His Mind

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in one of his trademark gestures of narcissistic venality, decided to set up an address to the United States Congress without notifying the executive branch of the American government. The maneuver is so unusual that Netanyahu’s former ally and ambassador to the U.S. called on him to reverse course. Even Fox News has questioned him. Jeffrey Goldberg attempts to understand what Netanyahu might have been thinking. “Why doesn’t Netanyahu understand that alienating Democrats is not in the best interest of his country?” he asks. “From what I can tell, he doubts that Democrats are — or will be shortly — a natural constituency for Israel, and he clearly believes that Obama is a genuine adversary.”

Obama has agreed to 80 percent of Iran's demands in nuclear talks, Israeli officials tell Ch. 10

Israeli officials told Channel 10 on Friday that they are convinced the Obama administration has already agreed to most of Iran’s demands in the P5+1 negotiations over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.

According to unnamed officials, Washington “has given the Iranians 80 percent of what they want” out of the negotiations, Channel 10 is reporting.

Israeli Center-Left Alliance Looks To Unseat Netanyahu

When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dissolved his unwieldy coalition and called new elections last month, he appeared almost certain to be returned once more to office. But a new center-left alliance has surged past his Likud party in the polls, turning the March 17 contest into a toss-up.

After joining forces with former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to create a joint grouping they call "The Zionist Camp," Labor Party leader Isaac Herzog is looking, to increasingly many Israelis, like a viable alternative to Netanyahu. He promises to reverse the country's slide toward international isolation and corrosive social inequality.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Between potentially losing the election to this new coalition, coupled with the reality that the P5+1 negotiations with Iran may actually achieve a working treaty with Iran on its nuclear energy program, and the blowback from Netanyahu's planned speech before Congress, we may well see Netanyahu start behaving like a wounded, cornered animal; and nothing is more dangerous than a wounded, cornered animal.

There are only 46 days until the Israeli election, but in those 46 days, Netanyahu could do something militarily desperate in the Middle East, or possibly beyond, to attempt to assure that he retains power when the elections are over.

He may even go so far as to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities; or actually attempt to invade Lebanon, or Syria; only time will tell.

Netanyahu speech scandal blows up, and ‘soiled’ Dermer looks like the fall guy

With even AIPAC washing its hands of the speech, it sure looks as if Israel supporters want an exit from this fiasco. Benjamin Netanyahu Stuns Israel Backers by Embracing Republicans on Iran

Within one week, the fundamentals of the mainstream pro-Israel community have been shaken like never before.

Its centerpiece legislative effort — the drive to impose new sanctions on Iran — has been frozen in place and, more importantly, the notion that support for Israel is a bipartisan issue in American politics has suffered a serious blow.

The source of the setbacks suffered by the organized Jewish community could be tracked down to one event: House Speaker John Boehner’s January 21 invitation to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak on Iran in front of a joint meeting of Congress — and Netanyahu’s acceptance of the invitation, by prearrangement — without consulting Boehner’s Democratic counterparts and without telling President Obama about his outreach to a head of state to visit. From that moment, events spiraled downward quickly, leaving the community with more questions than answers and with blame being assigned in all directions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Representative Yarmuth: there are many times when the goals and needs of the Israeli state are not the goals and needs of the American state, or its people; during those times, We the People, including those who elected you, demand your full attention, and support to, the goals and needs of the American people, particularly when they do not coincide with those of the Israeli government.

The passage of these new sanctions by Congress against Iran will be a prelude to war: you, as a logical person, have to understand that.

If Iran is attacked, one of the oldest practicing Jewish communities in the world, from the times of ancient Babylon, may well be obliterated. As an American Jew, sir, how do you feel about that?!? Are these brother and sister Jews merely "collateral damage"?!?

IF the P5+1 is unable to come to agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program, this coming war, most likely to be instigated by Israel, will draw the US in, and probably Russia and China, on the side of Iran.

I would like to politely remind you that at this point in its history, the US military does not have the troop strength; the manufacturing; or money necessary to insure a positive outcome with either Russia or China in a conventional war; and that is what makes the military scenario so scarily dangerous.

Representative Yarmuth, I would very strongly caution all those who may be thinking about advocating for the passage of these sanctions on the following; please be very, very careful about what you wish for as an outcome here. The unintended consequences of such a war could be both horrific... and irreversible.

Pelosi: Netanyahu speech to Congress could wreck Iran talks on nuclear weapons

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s scheduled speech to the U.S. Congress in March could damage the Obama administration’s attempts to broker a deal with Iran on nuclear weapons development, the senior U.S. House of Representatives Democrat said on Wednesday.

“Such a presentation could send the wrong message in terms of giving diplomacy a chance,” said Representative Nancy Pelosi during a news conference on the sidelines of an annual retreat for Democratic lawmakers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As a native San Franciscan myself, Congresswoman Pelosi, I am simultaneously cringing, and wondering if you believe you should be congratulated for your magnificent grasp of the obvious.

Congresswoman Pelosi, of COURSE, that is precisely what Netanyahu will attempt to do with his joint address to Congress, then figure AIPAC will take care of the rest of the damage to American diplomacy with their usual basket of tricks. And if he and AIPAC are allowed to get away with sabotaging the P5+1 talks (to which, BTW, Israel is NOT a signatory), here is the probable outcome.

1. It will become painfully transparent, to both Americans and the world, that Israel has a stranglehold on American foreign policy; therefore, the US can no longer be perceived as an "independent, honest broker" in ANY dispute in the world, and will be shunned as a pariah.

2. The Iranian delegation will leave the peace talks permanently, understanding that it is futile to try to broker any deal with the US continuing to be held in Israel's Svengali-like grip.

3. Israel will most probably attack Iran, bringing the US military in on their side. In fact, were I a betting person, I would not bet against the possibility that Israel might attack Iran's nuclear facilities before the P5+1 talks have concluded; Superbowl Saturday, when most Americans are focused on football and food, might be

4. Hezbollah will attack Israel from the North.

5. The casualties on Israeli soil will be far higher than predicted.

6. Russia may well join Iran in their fight against the US and Israel; Russia and Iran have just signed a military "memorandum of understanding" this month.

So, in summation, unfortunately, just because leveraging more sanctions against Iran would be the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly counterproductive thing Congress could do at this time, is absolutely no guarantee they won't do it.

I am sure that those of you in Congress who are heavily invested in stocks in the military industrial complex will be very happy to see more sanctions go down, because, most generally, sanctions are a prelude to war.

Israel is on a rampage. It has been raining death and destruction in Gaza for weeks. It pounded Lebanon into rubble. It, with the help of the US , resisted calls for an immediate cease fire. After the UN passed a resolution calling for a cessation of hostilities, it went ahead and carried out a raid in Lebanon , in flagrant and clear violation of the cease-fire resolution, and Israel ’s Prime Minister has said such raids may well continue.

In the West Bank it carried out a raid in broad daylight as late as Sunday August 20 and grabbed from his Ramallah home Mahmoud-al-Ramahi, a senior Hamas member and secretary general of the Palestinian parliament. Just a day before Israeil soldiers swooped in on Deputy Prime Minister Nasser Shaer and seized him from his home, also n Ramallah. Bibi Netanyahu -- aka 'The Republican Senator From Israel' -- May Have Made A Fatal Political Mistake

At least the American President had the good sense not to further endanger his relationship with Netanyahu and the Israeli people.

In reviewing Netanyahu’s political ploy, and his ambassador’s duplicitous behavior, it seems fair to ask whether this is really how friends treat friends?

While you may entirely agree with Boehner’s decision to invite Netanyahu to address the Congress, can you possibly not be disturbed that the Israeli ambassador to our country went out of his way to not tell our Secretary of State of his plan to interfere with our foreign policy and seek to embarrass our president in the process?

Lebanon-Israel border quiet after Hezbollah attack

U.N. peacekeepers and Lebanese soldiers were patrolling the border with Israel Thursday, a day after Hezbollah launched a revenge attack on Israel for the recent killing of six party members and an Iranian general in Syria's Golan Heights.

The patrols came after Israel responded to the Hezbollah attack with artillery shelling on several areas of south Lebanon.

The Next War In The Middle East Has Begun And Israel Vows ‘To Act Powerfully On All Fronts’

Israel and Hezbollah are at war. On top of everything else that is going on in the world, now we have a new war in the Middle East, and nobody is quite certain what is going to happen next. Israel has been preparing for this moment for more than 8 years. So has Hezbollah. According to some reports, Hezbollah has amassed an arsenal of 50,000 rockets since the end of the Hezbollah-Israel war in 2006. If all-out warfare does erupt, we could potentially see tens of thousands of missiles rain down into an area not too much larger than the state of New Jersey. And of course the Israeli military is also much more sophisticated and much more powerful than it was back in 2006. If cooler heads do not prevail, we could be on the verge of witnessing a very bloody war. But right now nobody seems to be in the mood to back down.

Senate Dems Won’t Back Iran Sanctions for At Least Two Months

Several key Democratic Senators, including Sen. Robert Menendez (D – NJ), have announced they will withhold support for any new Iran sanctions until at least March 24, giving negotiations a chance to continue at least until then.

The March 24 date was picked as the informal deadline for a framework agreement by the P5+1 on negotiations with Iran. The lack of Democratic support essentially makes it impossible that the Senate can override a threatened presidential veto until then.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This delay has absolutely NOTHING to do with the P5+1 negotiations, and EVERYTHING to do with Netanyahu's address to a joint Congressional session in March, right before he addresses AIPAC, where he will do everything in his power to prevent the P5+1 negotiations from succeeding, as will AIPAC

Netanyahu and AIPAC want negotiations to fail; and for the US to attack and "neutralize" its alleged "existential threat" in the region, Iran, just as it did with Iraq; and we can all see, looking through the lens of hindsight, JUST HOW BRILLIANTLY THAT worked out for the US.

The delay is engineered for both Israel and AIPAC to put maximum pressure on Congress to move forward with more sanctions, and cause Iran to walk away from the negotiating table.

Please remember: your alleged Congressional representatives believe that they are infinitely more beholden to Netanyahu and AIPAC than he or she is to the people who actually elected them.

And sometimes, AIPAC can make, or break, a congressional representative; AIPAC and Netanyahu are counting on this, as they apply "leverage" toward more sanctions, and away from negotiations, in the form of a poisonous cocktail of threats, innuendo, and bribes.

In fact, right now, voters who are more than a little upset at this Israeli-sponsored agency's power over Congress (and remember; they do not have to register as a "Foreign Government Agency"), should begin a little social media blitz of their own, something like #Congress, don't drink Israel's Koolade on more Iran Sanctions!!!

Sanctions are almost, invariably, a prelude to war; and Russia and Iran have just inked a mutual military accord. War with Iran will most likely mean war with Russia, and possibly, China.

Obama allegedly deploys 'hit team' to Israel to defeat Netanyahu in election

While still traveling overseas to India and Saudi Arabia, President Barack Obama allegedly is seeking revenge on a man he treats more as his nemesis rather than his "closest ally" in the Middle East -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Obama and his White House are steaming over the invitation to speak directly to House of Representatives which was extended to the Israeli leader by Speaker of the House John Boehner, no fan of President Obama. But according to the Israeli media on Tuesday, an Obama friend and political ally was dispatched to Israel to help Netanyahu's opposition defeat him in the upcoming Israeli elections.

Is John Boehner a Traitor?

So, why is Boehner's invitation to Netanyahu such a big deal?

First off, it's a huge violation of protocol and massively disrespectful to President Obama and the authority of the executive branch.

It is completely unprecedented for the Speaker of the House, or any member of Congress, to invite a foreign leader to come to the US and speak to Congress without getting authorization and/or cooperation from the White House.

As Guy Ziv, a professor at American University who has studied US-Israeli relations told TPM, "It's unprecedented. It's hitting below the belt. It's taking partisanship to a whole new level."

By inviting Netanyahu to speak to Congress without the authority of the executive branch, Speaker Boehner is badly blurring the lines of national sovereignty, and again massively disrespecting typical protocol.

Tell Congress not to attend Netanyahu’s speech

Join us in raising our voices to protest Netanyahu’s speech, not because it’s a partisan snub, nor because the date is close to the Israeli elections, but because Netanyahu is going to Washington to undermine the U.S. strategy of diplomacy with Iran.

How Israeli High-Tech Security Firms Are Turning the U.S.-Mexico Border into a “New Kind of Hell”

t was October 2012. Roei Elkabetz, a brigadier general for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), was explaining his country’s border policing strategies. In his PowerPoint presentation, a photo of the enclosure wall that isolates the Gaza Strip from Israel clicked onscreen. “We have learned lots from Gaza,” he told the audience. “It’s a great laboratory.”

Elkabetz was speaking at a border technology conference and fair surrounded by a dazzling display of technology — the components of his boundary-building lab. There were surveillance balloons with high-powered cameras floating over a desert-camouflaged armored vehicle made by Lockheed Martin. There were seismic sensor systems used to detect the movement of people and other wonders of the modern border-policing world. Around Elkabetz, you could see vivid examples of where the future of such policing was heading, as imagined not by a dystopian science fiction writer but by some of the top corporate techno-innovators on the planet.

The BBC is under attack yet again by some Jewish ‘community leaders’ and their caretakers within British politics. This time the British broadcast dared to invite a British MP to participate in the primetime TV show, Question Time.

The Ultra Zionist Jewish Chronicle reports today: “The BBC has been attacked for its decision to invite anti-Israel MP George Galloway to appear on a Question Time panel in Finchley, north-west London.”

Apparently, Mr. Galloway, renown for his sharp criticism of Israel, will be part of the program filmed in the parliamentary constituency with the country’s largest Jewish population next week.

In typical shameless Israeli stooge behaviour, Finchley and Golders Green MP Mike Freer said the BBC’s invitation to the respected MP was “deliberately provocative,” as if intellectual or political provocation were necessarily a bad thing.

It Is Time For Iran To Tell The West ‘Goodbye’

From all appearances, the Obama regime’s negotiations with Iran, overseen by Russia, were on the verge of ending the contrived nuclear issue. Netanyahu claims speech to US Congress is ‘anti-Iran strategy,’ not presidential snub

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended on Sunday a planned speech to the U.S. Congress about Iran, saying he had a moral obligation to take every opportunity to speak out on an issue that poses a mortal threat to his country.

His visit to Washington in March has opened up a political rift in the United States and has drawn accusations in Israel that Netanyahu is undermining a strategic alliance to win an election due two weeks after the trip.

Briefing his cabinet on the speech to be made on March 3 to a joint meeting of Congress, Netanyahu said his priority was to urge the United States and other powers not to negotiate an Iranian nuclear deal that might endanger Israel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Prime Minister, this statement is grade-A, select-quality bovine excrement and you know it.

Iran hasn't begone a war in over 200 years; one certainly cannot say that with a straight face about Israel.

You goals are very simple, but amazingly transparent; to neuter the President's foreign policy goals in Iran; to cause Congress to cave to a foreign country in its actions regarding Iran; and to convince the Israeli voters that you still have the US government firmly by the "short and curlies".

And I hope you fail, miserably, because, as you are well aware, additional sanctions against Iran will cause them to leave the P5+1 negotiations. This, may well, cause Iranian legislators to believe that their only course of action is to develop an atomic bomb, and quickly, as a defense against an attack by Israel.

And sir, I will tell you: the American people have no stomach for yet another war in the Middle East to "neutralize" yet another of Israel's alleged "existential enemies", fought and paid for by American taxpayers, because they can see, very clearly, how US military action in Iraq,(not to mention Afghanistan, Libya, and Yemen) have failed catastrophically.

If Israel begins a war with Iran, and pulls the US along with it, you will see an outpouring of pro-peace, anti-Israeli rhetoric in this country the likes of which you have never seen in the history of Israel.

Sir,criticizing the government of Israel when it is doing something absolutely morally wrong is not anti-Semitic, but the absolutely correct action to take, as it would be with any other country with a bloodthirst for starting wars, and expanding territory to which they legally and morally hold no legitimate claim.
