Publisher McGraw-Hill Discontinues Textbook With Map Of Palestine

In March 2016, executives at the McGraw-Hill textbook publishing company removed a title from its selection titled Global Politics: Engaging a Complex World. The company, in well- disciplined commissar fashion, destroyed the books held in inventory because they featured a map illustrating “Palestinian loss of land from 1946 to 2000.” Apparently, the maps say too much about the US-supported Israeli occupation and expansion of settlements in Palestine and run the risk of corrupting young learners. On the market since 2012, Global Politics was designed to “offer students a number of lenses through which to view the world around them.”

Aid Minister and the scandal school tsar: We give Pakistan £700m each year towards education - yet its supremo is being probed over 5,000 schools that don't exist. Here he is... with Justine Greening

Hundreds of millions of pounds in British aid are being poured into education in Pakistan – where corrupt officials have creamed off vast amounts of cash by creating thousands of fake teaching jobs and pocketing the salaries.

A judicial inquiry in one province, Sindh, uncovered how the money was being siphoned off to as many as 5,000 schools and 40,000 teachers – which exist only on paper.

The fraud is just one of the scandals in education across Pakistan, to which Britain’s Department for International Development (DFID) has committed £700 million, supposedly to help the country’s impoverished children.

Army deployed as hanged assassin’s supporters clash with police in Islamabad

Pakistan Army deployed troops on the streets of the capital Islamabad Sunday after thousands of stone-throwing supporters of Mumtaz Qadri, who was hanged in February, clashed with police in chaotic scenes.

Supporters of executed Mumtaz Qadri during an anti-government rally in Islamabad Sunday
Qadri was executed on February 29 for killing a Punjab governor over his call for blasphemy reform in what analysts said was a “key moment” in Pakistan’s long battle against religious extremism.

An estimated 25,000 supporters of the former police bodyguard gathered in Islamabad’s twin city Rawalpindi in the afternoon to offer prayers, before turning toward the heavily-barricaded capital, which was patrolled by hundreds of police and paramilitary soldiers.

Pakistan Suicide Bombing: Dozens Killed In Lahore

A Taliban faction called Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack that killed at least 65 people in Lahore on Sunday, saying the target of its attack was Muslim Pakistan's small Christian minority, Reuters reports. More than 300 people were wounded.

Suicide Bombings are Really Remote Detonations

"Innocent Muslims were accused of being "suicide bombers" yet CCTV footage and honest eye-witness accounts exposed the explosions as detonations via a remote control or through timers. Virtually all the terrorist attacks outside of conflict or war zones are staged by elements of the security services (especially Zionist/Jewish/Israeli and their assets in organized crime and intelligence agents throughout the Western world targeting the West and to a certain extent in Turkey and the Gulf Arab States targeting Muslim countries). Islam clearly forbids the killing of innocent civilians - especially in kamikaze operations. Most Muslims, including the most militant ones don't even believe in the validity or necessity of kamikaze operations as a military tactic."

Another Nail in the Dollar’s Coffin: Russia and India Plan to Trade in National Currencies

As we reported earlier this month, Russia and China are now settling oil payments in yuan, a move that western analysts say is responsible for Russia overtaking the Saudis as China’s leading oil exporter. Iran (not a BRICS member, but considered a key partner, as well as a potential member) has also sent clear signals that it wants to abandon the dollar: Tehran is now demanding euros for all oil sales.

While these developments have so far centered around oil, Moscow is looking to conduct all trade in national currencies. Moscow and New Delhi are already drawing up the plans:

India and Russia are developing a road map for mutual settlements in national currencies which could open prospects for both countries, India’s Ambassador to Russia Pankaj Saran told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even if the TTP DOES get railroaded through Congress (and there is still some question about that happening), the US and US dollar are not going to be in a great place economically, because of the drive to dump the dollar in favor of national currencies.

Presidential Elections 2016: The Revolt of the Masses

Commentators grossly oversimplify when they reduce the revolt to incoherent expressions of ‘anger’.

The presidential elections of 2016 have several unique characteristics that defy common wisdom about political practices in 21st century America.

Clearly the established political machinery – party elites and their corporate backers -have (in part) lost control of the nomination process and confront ‘unwanted’ candidates who are campaigning with programs and pronouncements that polarize the electorate.

But there are other more specific factors, which have energized the electorate and speak to recent US history. These portend and reflect a realignment of US politics.

In this essay, we will outline these changes and their larger consequences for the future of American politics.

We will examine how these factors affect each of the two major parties.

Russians Ride Fast – Israel Shamir

If the rebels grasp the chance and enter serious negotiations for a coalition government, peace is possible.

The Russians accepted the US proposal to cease fire in Syria (or rather to end hostilities). They had made a similar proposal a few weeks ago, so this is in line with their thinking. Russians have made huge successes in Syria; they achieved an astonishing and unexpected victory with very few losses.

It was a reputational victory it was as well as a military one. Russia entered the Syrian war at a low point internationally.

The Empire Doesn’t Retreat or Compromise

Reading mainstream media news, analyses, and opinion pieces about this war is completely useless, as everything is either uninformed and clueless gibberish or propaganda and deception.

I wrote this text over several days and every time I sat down again to continue there came another headline to my mind. The first headline was “Nobody said, that it will be easy,” the second “Waiting for the Turkey-Russia showdown,” the third “Playing the terrorism game,” the fourth “Everything is better than war.”

In the end I settled for the header “The empire doesn’t retreat or compromise.”

This statement stands the test of time, it has been proven throughout human history, and there is only one single exemption, only one short period where retreat and compromise are a possibility. This short period is the time when the empire is in terminal decline and in the process of collapsing.

Pakistan confirms participation in Saudi-led military drills

Pakistan has confirmed its participation in military exercises in Saudi Arabia along with other Islamic nations.

The confirmation came on Monday, a day after the Saudi Press Agency reported that the military forces from 20 countries are scheduled to begin military maneuver in Saudi Arbia.

The news agency described the maneuver, dubbed "Thunder of North," as the region's most important military drills involving ground, air and naval forces.

In response to a media question regarding joint military exercise in Saudi Arabia, the Pakistani foreign ministry said the country is participating in a multi-national exercise on counter-terrorism being held in Saudi Arabia.

"A small Pakistani defence contingent also remains stationed in Saudi Arabia under a bilateral arrangement," the foreign ministry spokesperson said late on Monday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question left unasked here, is will Pakistan be providing nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia if this alleged drill "goes hot"?!?

Remember, Saudi Arabia provided a great deal of investment to Pakistan for its nuclear program, with the understanding that should the Saudi Arabian government believe it needed nuclear weapons, it could get them from Pakistan.

Why the Syria ceasefire is a long shot

Washington and its allies are not interested in peace. They want regime change – by hook or by crook.

An end to the Syrian conflict is desperately needed. But the latest plan for a cessation of violence is unlikely to take hold, as the deal struck by international powers is based on fundamentally opposing premises.

In short, Washington and its allies want regime change, while Russia and Iran insist that President Bashar Al-Assad and his government are the legitimate ruling authorities in Syria. All sides are mandated by UN resolutions to respect the sovereign will of the Syrian people – to determine the political future of their country.

A Syrian Breakthrough – Israel Shamir

Now the deed is done, the corridor is blocked.

If and when Aleppo and the whole Aleppo district will be taken by the Syrian army, we would be able to congratulate Putin and Assad – and Syrian people – with a great victory.

The Russians raise alarms that a Turkish invasion into Syria is imminent. Russian media is foaming at the mouth about the perfidious Turks; a veritable Two Minutes Hate ritual (vide Orwell) on the state-managed TV channels being repeated a few times a day. The idea is to scare Turks stiff so they will not move while the operation in the North lasts. On the other side, the Russian opposition draws frightful scenarios of Janissaries slaughtering the Russian boys on the Syrian terrain. The Turkish media also tries to instil fear in the Russkies by saying what they can do.

The presidential candidates’ irresponsible remarks about Iran - as though it is a politically convenient football to be kicked around...

After watching both the Republican and Democratic debates on TV, I intend to exclude two main categories from my principle concerns in the upcoming presidential elections that will determine who will replace President Obama next year: one is the entire roster of the Republican Party, and the other, anything other than the foreign policy issues; the main area of my personal interest.

I am disregarding the entire Republican roster because I don’t think any Republican has a chance to beat Ms. Clinton in the general elections, at least this time around.

The ships of the Navy of India and the U.S. may join the joint Navy patrols, according to a number of media with reference to sources in the military command in these countries. In the patrol area may include the South China sea... According to sources, a preliminary decision was made during the visit of President Barack Obama in new Delhi in January 2015 and was confirmed during the recent visit of Indian defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to Hawaii. However, all sources were asked to keep their names in secret, as a final agreement, apparently, is still not achieved. The fact is that India is fundamentally not sending it's ships to participate in military operations of other countries.

Every false flag in the making is detected ahead of time by somebody’s intelligence services

Every false flag in the making is detected ahead of time by somebody’s intelligence services—usually more than one country—because spying today is so effective and so universal. Officials in possession of this secret information often pass it on to the country that’s targeted, in the sincere belief that a heads-up will be appreciated.

But often the information isn’t welcomed—-because the fix is already in. Treasonous assets within the targeted country’s chain of command, who are prepared for the possibility of a leak, take measures to block the information from reaching those who might act on it in a meaningful way.

THE 21st CENTURY: AN ERA OF FRAUD

In the last years of the 20th century fraud entered US foreign policy in a new way. On false pretenses Washington dismantled Yugoslavia and Serbia in order to advance an undeclared agenda. White House admits staging fake vaccination operation to gather DNA from the public

The White House has officially admitted that fake vaccination programs have been used by the United States as a cover for covertly stealing DNA samples from the public as part of the so-called “war on terror.” The aim of the scheme, carried out in the Middle East, was to use DNA analysis to identify suspected terrorists who would then be targeted to be killed by the United States.
As the New York Times reported in 2011, “In the months before Osama bin Laden was killed, the Central Intelligence Agency ran a phony vaccination program in Abbottabad, Pakistan, as a ruse to obtain DNA evidence from members of Bin Laden’s family thought to be holed up in an expansive compound there.” (1)
“CIA agents recruited a senior Pakistani doctor to organize the vaccine drive in Abbottabad, even starting the “project” in a poorer part of town to make it look more authentic,” reports The Guardian (2).

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable!!

Osama Bin Laden died in 2001 of natural causes; who the Navy Seals assassinated in Abbottabad was some poor schmuck who some Pakistani identified, wrongly, as Bin Laden.

This is why his carcass was unceremoniously dumped at sea, because the White House didn't want to have to live with the humiliation of having killed the wrong guy once pictures of the corpse became public.

Hillary Clinton Touts Overthrow of Gadhafi, but Doesn’t Mention That Clinton Foundation Donors Did Big Business in Tyrant’s Libya

On Saturday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton again justified the 2011 U.S. policy of regime change in Libya, citing, at least in part, the fact that dictator Moammar Gadhafi had killed Americans.

“We have to continue to do what is necessary when someone like Gadhafi, a despot with American blood on his hands, is overturned,” Clinton said during the weekend’s Democratic presidential debate in Manchester, New Hampshire. “But I’ll tell you what would have happened if we had not joined with our European partners and our Arab partners to assist the people in Libya, you would be looking at Syria.”

But early in the administration, Clinton had championed an allegiance with the Libyan regime under Gadhafi, during a time when some of the major U.S. corporations doing business in Libya were also donating heavy sums to the Clinton Foundation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do not for a moment imagine that this "pay to play" mentality will suddenly leave her consciousness, if she is able to win (or steal) the election; it will simply continue, unabated. For her and Bill Clinton, inhabiting the White House is simply another way to make millions of dollars through her foundation, and the public be damned.

And this is why we have to bring her past behaviour to the unblinking gaze of documented fact, because, if in fact, past is prologue to the future, we can expect massive international interventionism from a second Clinton presidency.

And has anyone out there had the "male attributes" to ask her if the current post-Ghadaffi situation in Libya, which has been rife with civil war since 2011; whose leadership has been badly factionalised and has just this month created a basis for a national unity government, was the outcome she desired when she green-lit Ghadaffi's assassination?!?

And what about the reality that Libya has become a
second home to ISIS?!?

Because if all I have stated here were not the outcomes Clinton desired as Secretary of State, and were simply "unintended consequences" of her policies here, please consider Libya a thoroughly terrifying, but very real, "prequel" to what a Clinton presidency will look like.

The main legal principles from the Nuremberg Trials were later declared general principles of international law by the United Nations: the “Nuremberg Principles.” With these principles, in 1950 the international community of nations demanded for the first time that crimes against international law should no longer go unpunished. From now on, no one should be above the law. The Nuremberg Trials and Nuremberg Principles thus laid the foundation for modern international criminal law.

Iranian Supreme Leader Sends Crucial Message to World Audience on Terrorism

People at zerohedge are questioning the authenticity of this letter.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-11-29/irans-ayatollah-pens-letter-w...

For those of a cynical persuasion, it’s difficult to ignore the similarities between Islamic State’s brand of puritanical Islam and Saudi Arabia’s propagation of Wahhabism. Put simply, indoctrinating the masses with an ultra orthodox ideal that breeds intolerance sows the seeds of extremism and on that score, Riyadh and Raqqa are really no different.

To the Youth in Western Countries,

The bitter events brought about by blind terrorism in France have once again, moved me to speak to you young people. The son of Turkey’s president (and thus, the father) is the silent mastermind who has been responsible for converting millions of barrels of Syrian Oil into hundreds of millions of dollars of Islamic State revenue.

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words.

Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”, had this to say:

“We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation” by Turkey.

But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans).

An Invisible US Hand Leading to War? Turkey’s Downing of a Russian Jet was an Act of Madness

It is all terribly dangerous and it is hard to predict where things will lead.

This outrageous shootdown of a Russian plane that was in no way posing a threat to Turkey or Turkish forces, will not end here, because Russia and President Putin cannot allow Turkey and NATO to so blatantly act against Russia and its pilots and go unpunished, particularly as it is Russia that is acting legally in Syria, while the US, Turkey and other nations backing rebel forces there are in all acting blatant violation of international law.

Unless saner heads start prevailing in Washington, this could all quickly spiral into the kind of situation in 1914, where a lot of ill-conceived treaties led to a minor incident in the Balkans turning inexorably into World War I.

Is Turkey Starting a Proxi-War for NATO?

It is clear, Turkey hosting the recent G20 meeting and subscribing to the east-west ‘coalition’ of fighting the ISIS / DAESH / Al Qaeda terror, was a loosely disguised farce.

Did Turkey just provoke a proxi-war on behalf of NATO against Russia? – Turkey knew very well that the Russian SU-24 fighter jet was inside Syria’s borders and that even as it may have been close to Turkey it was no threat for Turkey. Russia’s mission was clear to all the 19 nations which attended the G20 meeting some 10 days ago in Antalya, Turkey, when the entire group unanimously decided to cooperate in fighting the Islamic State (IS – or Daesh, according to its Arabic acronym).

Turkey Shoots Down More Than Just a Russian Jet

It is only a matter of time before the rhetorical shell game conducted by the terrorist sponsors comes unstuck.

Turkey’s shooting down of a Russian fighter jet this week was likely aimed at a bigger political target – to deal a blow to the proposal of a grand anti-terror coalition between the West and Russia for fighting the Islamic State extremist network in Syria.

Such a coalition might seem reasonable, even desirable, to most people. But it is profoundly unacceptable, tacitly, to Washington because it would further expose the criminal nature of the Western-sponsored regime-change operation in Syria.

Washington and its allies do not want Russia to participate in an effective military coalition that would accelerate the destruction of the mercenary terror army that the Western powers have covertly invested in. In that regard, French President Francois Hollande seems to have momentarily lost the devious plot by proposing such an alliance with Russia.

Manufacturing a phony caliphate

Carefully-orchestrated snuff films directed by media experts.

Image is the most important element of the vaunted but fictional “new caliphate”. This thing is largely smoke and mirrors: manufacturing a phony “caliphate” out of nothing but a misfit band of thugs collected from many disparate countries—all wearing matching black outfits and masks (so that you can’t identify ethnicity), driving identical shiny Toyota trucks by the hundreds, flying identical mass-produced flags and sporting slick logos—supplied by whom?

Did NATO Just Attack Russia, Or Was It Climate Change’s Fault?

I began this morning reporting on Britain’s next king saying climate change is partly responsible for Syria’s civil war, and his blaming the refugee crisis and civil war there on drought. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Prince Charles waxes profoundly over the lost Copenhagen climate accord in 2009, and on far reaching strategies you probably never even dreamed of. Then the news came a Russian SU24 fighter/bomber had been shot down by Turkey, and the world turned over. As I type this Twitter, Facebook, and the digital media stream is inundated with a foreign policy horror story. All I can see is Vladimir Putin’s face as Jordan’s king spoke with him, and images of Mr. Obama’s “moderates” machine gunning a pilot before his parachute set down. I wonder if the bad climate will be the cause of World War III?

CrossTalk: Talking Syria and the Remaking of the Middle East

Join host Peter LaVelle for an amazing talk about the future of the Middle East

After a series of horrific terrorist attacks, a truly global coalition to fight and destroy ISIS is in the making. At the same time Washington continues to ignore those who are really doing the fighting, particularly Russia. Are arrogance and false pride the real barriers to peace in Syria?

"When has a genuine grassroots rebellion ever looked like this? These guys are well-funded by sophisticated backers. And those backers are no friends of the Muslim world.

Putin to speak at UN climate change summit in Paris, France says

Wonder how the latest false flag will affect this upcoming meeting in Paris with ALL the worlds biggie politicos in attendance....maybe.

By: Sylvie Corbet The Associated Press, Published on Sun Nov 08 2015

LE BOURGET, FRANCE — Canada's new environment minister was in Paris Sunday taking part in talks to lay the groundwork for this month's UN global climate change summit, which will be attended by more than 100 world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, France’s foreign minister said.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said that Putin has accepted an invitation to attend the conference in Paris. He will be among the speakers on the conference’s first day, along with U.S. President Barack Obama and the leaders of India and China.

The Kremlin hasn’t confirmed Putin’s participation at the so-called COP 21 talks, which aim to reach the most ambitious accord to date limiting emissions that cause global warming.

35 Countries Where the U.S. Has Supported Fascists, Drug Lords and Terrorists

The U.S. is backing Ukraine's extreme right-wing Svoboda party and violent neo-Nazis whose armed uprising paved the way for a Western-backed coup. Events in the Ukraine are giving us another glimpse through the looking-glass of U.S. propaganda wars against fascism, drugs and terrorism. The ugly reality behind the mirror is that the U.S. government has a long and unbroken record of working with fascists, dictators, druglords and state sponsors of terrorism in every region of the world in its elusive but relentless quest for unchallenged global power.

Behind a firewall of impunity and protection from the State Department and the CIA, U.S. clients and puppets have engaged in the worst crimes known to man, from murder and torture to coups and genocide. The trail of blood from this carnage and chaos leads directly back to the steps of the U.S. Capitol and the White House.

FLASHBACK: Sleeping With the Devil: How U.S. and Saudi Backing of Al Qaeda Led to 9/11

A little disingenuous or CUDP on the blowback angle but I like the pics and the vids!

Preface: The director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan – Lt. General William Odom – noted:

Because the United States itself has a long record of supporting terrorists and using terrorist tactics, the slogans of today’s war on terrorism merely makes the United States look hypocritical to the rest of the world.

Odom also said:

By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In ‘78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism – in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation.

FLASHBACK: New Russian Stealth Aircraft Uses Plasma Screen

MOSCOW -- The Russian aircraft industry has developed and will soon start producing stealth aircraft which will radically differ from existing U.S. models. The Russian version uses plasma screens to cushion and disperse radar waves, the Novye Izvestia daily reports.

The newspaper quoted Anatoly Koroteyev, the head of the Keddysh Research Center as saying that the plasma screen technology can be used on any vehicle " from automobiles to combat aircraft. However, it is most effective at high altitudes and thus is best used by the air force. http://josephpedepoetry.blogspot.com/2014/04/plasma-cloud-generation-t...

Putin Tells Everyone Exactly Who Created ISIS

American people rarely listen to Putin’s speeches. Few opportunities to do so unless they go looking for it; They just assume their media is right and Putin‘s a “brutal dictator” who’s “trying to re-establish the Soviet empire”, end of story.

In western media Putin could soon find himself painted as the new combination Hitler/Stalin in a looming WWIII—another so-called “just war” which US will be “morally compelled to fight”, to “save the world from tyranny”. Christian dominionists will be calling it Armageddon—the final battle between Good and Evil before the return of the King!

Syria – Vienna-Geneva Peace Talks, an exploded Russian Airliner – and NATO-Trident Juncture

Why a foreign imposed transition? Transition seems to become a propaganda indoctrinated fait accompli.

Washington has been quite successful in its wicked embrace of Syria over the last few weeks. Just imagine, Kerry, in a propaganda-painted gesture of goodwill, forges the Vienna Peace Conference, this past Friday, 30 October. The results are inconclusive, but on to more talks in Geneva; no longer ‘Assad must go’, but rather the concession that “Assad is going to be part of any transitional governing body.” – Why a foreign imposed transition? Transition seems to become a propaganda indoctrinated fait accompli.

Why British Haste on Plane Bomb Theory?

Cameron and Obama are evidently being fed intelligence assessments of a bomb being stowed in the airplane's hold by terrorists.

British officials have made an unseemly leap to speculate on a terrorist plot in the Russian airliner crash over Sinai last weekend.

And Russia has understandably reacted furiously to the speculation, saying that it is too early to make such an assessment when crash investigators have not even compiled, let alone evaluated, evidence.

American officials, including President Barack Obama, are also now echoing the British claims of a bomb on the plane. The question is: why the haste?

NATO Invades Spain

The notion that the Pentagon would dare declare its own no-fly zone over northern Syria to protect a gaggle of “moderate rebels” from Russian and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) bombing is preposterous.

Fresh from its thunderous humiliation by the Taliban; its “liberation” of Libya for the benefit of militia hell; and while Russia was bombing the hell out of a Salafi-jihadi/”moderate rebel” constellation in Syria, NATO – in search for a “360-degree” response to Russia – resorted to invading… Spain.

India wants people to turn in their gold

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a program to lure tons of gold from households into the country’s banking system. The program consists of three schemes; a gold monetization scheme, gold sovereign bonds and Indian gold coin.

The gold monetization scheme aims to unlock about 20,000 tons of gold worth over $800 billion lying idle in homes and temples. Under the plan, banks will collect gold for up to 15 years and pay 2.25-2.50 percent interest per year. This is higher than previous rates of around one percent. The government hopes that higher interest rates will help in mobilizing the gold as previous attempts have been unsuccessful.
