Taking Back Their Power from Smart Meters in Pennsylvania

Catherine J. Frompovich
Activist Post

In 2008 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Legislative body passed, and then-Governor Ed Rendell signed into Pennsylvania Law – PA HB2200, which became Act 129 of 2008. That unethical and vested-interest law mandated AMI Smart Meters (SMs) replace perfectly safe analog meters on all residences with utility companies servicing 100,000 customers.

However, that bill/law is flawed legally insofar as it does not provide an Opt-out from Smart Meters...

NBC'S LAW & ORDER: VACCINE AGENDA MOUTHPIECE

To honor April as National Autism Awareness Month, NBC’s Law and Order has decided to run a new episode titled Granting Immunity.’ This episode revolves around a measles outbreak in an elementary school due to parents that didn’t vaccinate their children. No stranger to taking the wrong side of controversy, it appears NBC is looking to follow in the footsteps of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel to attack parents who still want medical choice. This is termed ‘behavior placement’ in which subtle messages are woven into shows. It should be noted that watching television instantly switches a viewer’s brainwaves into the alpha state (relaxation, suggestibility etc.). Next to criminality and fraud from the mainstream medical community, it appears ridicule and brainwashing are the only ‘real science’ vaccines still command.

FIXED FORTUNES: BIGGEST CORPORATE POLITICAL INTERESTS SPENT BILLIONS, AND GOT TRILLIONS IN RETURN

Between 2007 and 2012, 200 of America’s most politically active corporations spent a combined $5.8 billion on federal lobbying and campaign contributions. A year-long analysis by the Sunlight Foundation suggests, however, that what they gave pales compared to what those same corporations got: $4.4 trillion in federal business and support.

BILLIONS OF CALIFORNIA FRACKING ‘WATER WASTING’ IGNORED

As California lawmakers decide if resident ‘water wasters’ should face jail time, based on a ‘snitch’ system,’ water agencies are busy working on higher rates and fees to penalize individual residents. As the main facilitator in the pollution of California's two biggest fresh water aquifers, the real question is “who will report California Governor Jerry Brown?”

The Whitehouse’s New Executive Order On Cyber Crime is (Unfortunately) No Joke

by Nadia Kayyali and Kurt Opsahl

On the morning of April 1st, the Whitehouse issued a new executive order (EO) that asserts that malicious “cyber-enabled activities” are a national threat, declares a national emergency, and establishes sanctions and other consequences for individuals and entities. While computer and information security is certainly very important, this EO could dangerously backfire, and chill the very security research that is necessary to protect people from malicious attacks...

The duplicitous and misleading title of the project establishing Israel's (City of London's) empire that used American post 9/11 (inside job) concocted anti-Muslim enmity, its resources, its military, economic, and political might that will become the dominant political power of the planet long after the United States has been destroyed and left held responsible for the horrors visited on the world via the so-called "war on terror".

Israel Plans Two-Pronged Attack To Thwart Iran Deal

Israel will adopt two lines of attack as it tries to thwart – or at least modify – the international nuclear agreement with Iran in the coming weeks, a senior official said.

Firstly, it will lobby the U.S. Congress to pass legislation that would make it difficult, or even impossible, to approve a comprehensive deal with Iran if one is reached by the June 30 deadline.

At the same time, it will continue pressing the White House for the “improvements” Israel says must be made in the terms of the agreement, the official said.

Rand Paul Has a Daddy Issue

The 52-year-old Kentucky senator, who will announce his outsider candidacy for the GOP nomination this week in Louisville, is a lifelong noninterventionist, but even he couldn’t abide Putin’s invasion of Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula, and he joined the GOP chorus calling for retribution. “Putin must be punished,” Rand Paul wrote in a blistering March 2014 op-ed in Time—marking the start of his center-ward shuffle toward the GOP mainstream.

One problem: His 79-year-old father, Ron, didn’t agree and didn’t feel like silencing himself. The three-time presidential candidate, and original source of his son’s credibility among libertarians, has been a frequent guest on Putin-controlled Russian state television, where he has railed against almost every U.S. plan to counter Putin’s aggression—from military aid to diplomatic censure to sanctions.

TURKISH GENERAL CLAIMS CIA ‘MAY HAVE HAD ROLE’ IN 2003 COUP PLOT

A Turkish former four-star general, who was jailed for his role in an alleged coup plot by secularists in the Turkish military, has alleged in an interview that the United States may have advised the coup plotters. Bilgin Balanli was the only active-duty four-star general to be charged in connection with the so-called Balyoz Harekâti (Operation SLEDGEHAMMER) coup-plot case. The alleged plot became widely known in early 2010, when Taraf, a liberal Turkish daily, published documents from 2003 that outlined the plotters’ plans for a military takeover of government. According to Taraf, the conspirators were secularists within the ranks of Turkey’s military and intelligence agencies, who were opposed to the rule of the Islamist Justice and Development Party (AKP), headed by Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.

John Oliver interviews Edward Snowden. U.S. citizens real concerns? They only care if their 'dick' pictures are seen by government.

June 1st the govt. votes on continuing the Patriot Act.

It is important for people to stand up for their freedoms. If we don't stand up we lose it all. We can't live in fear as the government wants us to, just so they can spy on every single person and everything we do. Understand this is not about fighting terrorism, this is about knowing everything about every single citizen.

Every citizen is considered guilty by the government and they spy on every thing we do and spend. John Oliver makes the conversation funny and shows how people are not concerned unless it involves pictures of dicks. Yes... I wrote that correctly.

Must watch video.

GOP pops poison pill

There is a poison pill inside the Republican Party and if its presidential hopefuls keep swallowing it, they are going to choke off their chances for the White House.

The religious right has managed to convince some potential candidates that it is extremely powerful. It has convinced the more gullible ones that they must grovel, kowtow and genuflect before it.

This is nonsense. As I have written before, the religious right has not gotten the nominee it has wanted since Ronald Reagan. It is a paper tiger.

And by taking the poison pill that the religious right offers, the potential candidates risk alienating the rest of the nation.

6 charged in Boeing kickback scheme

A half-dozen Southland men face federal charges stemming from an alleged scheme to pay kickbacks to a procurement official at a subsidiary of the Boeing Co. that supplies satellites and satellite parts to government entities, including NASA, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Federal prosecutors made the announcement after a judge in Los Angeles unsealed documents related to four of the defendants, who previously pleaded guilty in proceedings that were closed to the public.

At the center of the alleged scheme is an executive at a San Gabriel Valley metal company that was a subcontractor to Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems, which supplies satellites and satellite parts to NASA, the Department of Defense, the National Reconnaissance Office and the United States Air Force, according to prosecutors.

Greece plans return to drachma and nationalization of banks

“We are a Left-wing government. If we have to choose between a default to the IMF or a default to our own people, it is a no-brainer,” said a senior official.

Greece is drawing up drastic plans to nationalise the country’s banking system and introduce a parallel currency to pay bills unless the eurozone takes steps to defuse the simmering crisis and soften its demands.

Sources close to the ruling Syriza party said the government is determined to keep public services running and pay pensions as funds run critically low. It may be forced to take the unprecedented step of missing a payment to the International Monetary Fund next week.

Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich: Iran Nuclear Deal Differences

U.S and Tehran disagree over Sanctions lift.

Tehran accuses the U.S. of spinning the nuclear deal.

Iran was never in violation of the NPT.

Most importantly, we must think about (upholding) the International treaties.

International treaties are being held hostage by the west.

There has been a lot of interference inside Iran by Washington. The nuclear issue is just an excuse to undermine the Islamic Republic and has very little to do with anything else.

Russia is opposed to snap back inspections and phased out sanctions.

Russia is a UN Security Council member and is present in the negotiations.

Devil is in Western Interpretation of Iran Nuclear Deal

A closer look at the details of the so-called framework accord to emerge from Lausanne shows that Iran falls short on both counts of sanctions removal and nuclear rights.

However, a closer look at the details of the so-called framework accord to emerge from Lausanne shows that Iran falls short on both counts of sanctions removal and nuclear rights.

Lawsuit: Female attorney strapped up in court

The next day, MacDonald Shimota was summoned to Knutson’s courtroom for a hearing.
