The Russia-U.S. Conventional Military Balance

The sole real purpose of the US military is to regularly beat up on some small, more or less defenseless country, either in order to rob it of its resources, overthrow a government daring to defy the World Hegemon, or just to make an example of it. The US military was never designed to fight a major war against a sophisticated enemy.

FLASHBACK: Obama Campaign Is Modeled On Alinsky

Obama is not like other candidates, and part of this training is learning to mimic the methods he used before he was an elected official — back when he was a community organizer in Chicago following the textbook of legendary agitator Saul Alinsky.

Saul Alinsky wanted results

Rivals of Obama know that while he may at times appear to channel Martin Luther King Jr., his methods sometimes give evidence of his allegiance to Alinsky, who shunned starry-eyed idealists and recommended purging do-gooders from organizations. Alinsky wanted results. And his methods often forced the hands of elected officials.

Hillary Clinton, Saul Alinsky correspondence revealed

Previously unpublished correspondence between Hillary Clinton and the late left-wing organizer Saul Alinsky reveals new details about her relationship with the controversial Chicago activist and shed light on her early ideological development.

Clinton met with Alinsky several times in 1968 while writing a Wellesley college thesis about his theory of community organizing.

Clinton’s relationship with Alinsky, and her support for his philosophy, continued for several years after she entered Yale law school in 1969, two letters obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show.

13 Rules For Radicals – Alinsky’s Guide For Activists

The end is what you want and the means is how you get it
— In war the end justifies almost any means
— Any effective means is automatically judged by the opposition to be unethical
Tactics, like life, require that you move with the action
— Tactics means doing what you can with what you have
— Tactics is the art of how to take and how to give
For an elementary illustration of tactics, take parts of your face as the point of reference; your eyes, your ears, and your nose.

MEGA BEX ALERT!!! - "U.S. Preparing to Release Convicted Israeli Spy Jonathan Pollard, Officials Say"

The Obama administration is preparing to release convicted Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard from prison, according to U.S. officials, some of whom hope the move will smooth relations with Israel in the wake of the Iran nuclear deal.

Such a decision would end a decadeslong fight over Mr. Pollard, who was arrested on charges of spying for Israel in 1985 and later sentenced to life in prison. The case has long been a source of tension between the U.S. and Israel, which has argued that a life sentence for spying on behalf of a close U.S. partner is too harsh. Israel has for years sought Mr. Pollard’s early release, only to be rejected by the U.S.

Now, some U.S. officials are pushing for Mr. Pollard’s release in a matter of weeks. Others expect it could take months, possibly until his parole consideration date in November.

Selling Off Apache Holy Land

Three hundred people, mostly Apache, marched 44 miles from tribal headquarters to begin this occupation on Feb. 9. The campground lies at the core of an ancient Apache holy place, where coming-of-age ceremonies, especially for girls, have been performed for many generations, along with traditional acorn gathering. It belongs to the public, under the multiple-use mandate of the Forest Service, and has had special protections since 1955, when President Dwight D. Eisenhower decreed the area closed to mining — which, like cattle grazing, is otherwise common in national forests — because of its cultural and natural value. President Richard M. Nixon’s Interior Department in 1971 renewed this ban.

“F” the EU Nuland Uses Doctored Wiretaps To Pull-Off Another Regime Change, This One In Macedonia

Macedonia’s political leaders have reached agreement on an interim government and an independent investigation into allegations of illegal wiretapping, electoral fraud and state-backed corruption in the former Yugoslav republic.Political leaders said the deal brought to an end a poisonous political dispute in the EU candidate country, which had been gripped by mass demonstrations and deadly clashes that echoed the country’s 2001 violent inter-ethnic conflict. Johannes Hahn, the EU enlargement commissioner who mediated the talks, told local reporters on Wednesday that the country’s leaders had brought Macedonia closer to its ambition of EU membership by reaching a deal.

Hillary Clinton’s Hawkish Response to the Iranian Nuclear Deal

Going back at least as early as the 1989 Presidential election
of Hashemi Rafsanjani, Iran has been attempting to end its international isolation by improving relations with the United States. And at least since the election of Iran’s next President, Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, in 1997, it has been the hope of the Iranian leadership that, once Iran got out of the cold shadow of the nuclear disagreement, the isolation would thaw, and the antagonism with the United States in the region would end.

FLASHBACK - Jonathan Pollard: Why Israel wants him free, why the U.S. doesn’t, and what might happen next

Pollard was sentenced to life for one count of espionage in 1987.

Jul 24 13:45

Wikipedia says Jonathan Pollard got a life sentence!

Pollard is the only American ever to receive a life sentence for passing classified information to an ally of the U.S.[4] Israeli officials, American and Israeli activist groups, and American politicians who see his punishment as unfair have lobbied continuously for reduction or commutation of his sentence.[5] The Israeli government issued a formal apology to the U.S. for part of its role in Pollard's espionage in 1987,[6] but did not admit paying for the documents until 1998.[7] Since the arrest, Israel has made repeated attempts through both official and unofficial channels to secure Pollard's release, but without success. Israel granted Pollard Israeli citizenship in 1995.[7]

Confidential Documents: Red Cross Itself May Not Know How Millions Donated for Haiti Were Spent

The American Red Cross is under pressure this week to answer detailed questions from Congress about the spending of nearly half a billion dollars it raised after the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

But internal documents newly obtained by ProPublica and NPR call into question whether the Red Cross itself has an accurate accounting of how the money was spent.

The reports, assessments from 2012 of some of the group's health and water projects, conclude that the charity failed to track its own spending, oversee projects, or even know whether or not they were successful. The documents also cast doubt on the accuracy of the Red Cross' public claims about how many Haitians the group has helped.

An internal evaluation of one of the group's water and sanitation projects found there was " no correct process for monitoring project spending."

Expedited processing required because of planned or pending Congressional hearings and the public’s demand for transparency on this issue.”

With the U.S. Congress beginning hearings on the nuclear accord with Iran, Israeli opponents of the agreement are readying a full-court press to persuade that the deal has too many loopholes that would allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon.

Israel could use dirty nuke in false flag attack in US: Ex-CIA contractor

Israel is testing dirty nuclear bombs in its deserts which could be used in a "false flag" attack in the United States to implicate Iran, a former CIA and NSA contractor says.

“One has to wonder if they [Israelis] feel that the momentum for realizing ‘greater Israel’ is going away, and if the world opinion is shifting, which clearly it seems to be… [then] we have to be concerned with a false flag attack on the United States in order to justify a retaliatory strike against Iran,” said Steven D Kelley.

“We know that this Israel is actually testing dirty nuclear devices in their desert right now, and we know this has no strategic value other than to be used as a terrorist device in a false flag attack,” he added. “So this is a very dangerous time.”

Kelley made the remarks after Israel’s ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer called on Republicans in Congress to reject the nuclear accord.

“The trolls are winning the battle for the Internet,” sniffed Ellen Pao in the Washington Post. Pao, who resembles a younger, Asian, and more masculine version of John Kerry, was forced out of Reddit after trying to crack down on “hate speech” and encountering unexpected pushback. While many may see this as a political battle, the truth is that Reddit’s war against “offensive” groups isn’t about principles, but profit. In order to monetize the site, certain groups need to be killed off. Consumers need a “safe space” in order see ads and spend their shekels in peace. “Trolls,” in short, disrupt the smooth functioning of an exploitative system.

Hillary, Oh Hillary! What are you hiding?

The State Department cannot find in its records all or part of 15 work-related emails from Hillary Rodham Clinton's private server that were released this week by a House panel investigating the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, officials saidThe emails all predate the Sept. 11 assault on the U.S. diplomatic facility and include scant words written by Clinton herself, the officials said. They consist of more in a series of would-be intelligence reports passed to her by longtime political confidant Sidney Blumenthal, the officials said.

Nevertheless, the fact that the State Department says it can't find them among emails she provided surely will raise new questions about Clinton's use of a personal email account and server while secretary of state and whether she has provided the agency all of her work-related correspondence, as she claims.

FLASHBACK MAY - Pedophile billionaire emerges grinning from the shadows with young blonde companion (and velvet slippers) – and is set to rattle Hillary Clinton’s White House campaign over sex scandal links to Bill

Pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein has been seen in public for the first time since a court case dramatically accused him of procuring an underage girl for a member of the British royal family.

In exclusive Daily Mail Online pictures, the convicted child sex offender was seen walking in Manhattan with an unidentified younger female companion, in his first public appearance since 2011.

The woman appeared relaxed as she and Epstein walked on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where he owns what is said to be New York's largest private home.

But his re-emergence in the public eye – and apparent nonchalance – is likely to cause grave concern for Hillary Clinton campaign aides, as Republican strategists have been waiting for an opportunity to highlight Epstein's close links to her husband.

Confederate History-Dispelling The Myths

History books, the media, the school systems, etc abound in falsehoods and inaccuracies of Confederate and Southern history. This fact sheet will help to clarify and dispell some of these rampant inaccuracies.

MYTH - The War of 1861 - 1865 was fought over slavery.

FACT - Terribly untrue. The North fought the war over money. Plain and simple. When the South started Secession, Lincoln was asked, "Why not let the South go in peace?" To which he replied, "I can't let them go. Who would pay for the government?" Sensing total financial ruin for the North, Lincoln waged war on the South. The South fought the War to repel Northern aggression and invasion.
