No One Read Hillary’s Emails Before Deleting Them

For more than a year after she left office in 2013, she did not transfer work-related email from her private account to the State Department. She commissioned a review of the 62,320 messages in her account only after the department–spurred by the congressional investigation–asked her to do so.

And this review did not involve opening and reading each email; instead, Clinton’s lawyers created a list of names and keywords related to her work and searched for those. Slightly more than half the total cache–31,830 emails–did not contain any of the search terms, according to Clinton’s staff, so they were deemed to be “private, personal records.”

Remember the debt ceiling? It's coming back Monday...

The question Americans should be asking is not whether to raise the debt ceiling, but rather why the Federal Government, which is authorized by the Constitution to create and issue interest-free money, instead borrows that money at interest from a privately owned central bank, thereby plunging future generations into debt slavery to that bank? THAT is the real question Americans should be asking!

Germany says Greece may face exit from eurozone

Germany’s finance minister says Greece may leave the 19-member eurozone if the administration in Athens fails to clinch a final agreement with its international creditors.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with German-language Austrian public broadcaster, ORF, on Friday, Wolfgang Schaeuble said the possibility of Greece’s departure from the European Union’s monetary bloc cannot be excluded.

“To the extent that Greece is solely responsible and decides what is to happen, and we don’t know exactly what Greek leaders are doing, we can’t exclude it,” he said in reference to an exit from the eurozone by the Greek government.

“Europe is ready to help Greece, but Greece must let itself be helped,” Schaeuble stated.

White House petition on ‘47 GOP traitors’ draws 260,000 signatures

A petition to the White House demanding treason charges against 47 Republican senators who attempted to sabotage US President Barack Obama's efforts to reach a nuclear accord with Iran has garnered more than 260,000 signatures.

The petition, on whitehouse.gov, was filed on Monday and had 263,312 signatures as of early Friday morning, well above the threshold of 100,000, which requires the White House to respond.

In an unprecedented move on Monday, a group of Republican senators ignored protocol and sent a letter to Iran, warning that whatever agreement reached with Obama would be a “mere executive agreement” that could be revoked “with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.”

The Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran Caucus

This week hardliners in the U.S. Senate took another step toward thwarting detente by writing to Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei that if he and President Obama negotiate a “mere executive agreement” on Iran’s (civilian) nuclear program that is not approved by Congress, it will bind neither Obama’s successor nor a future Congress. The letter comes on the heels of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bellicose speech about Iran before Congress. Like that speech, the senators’ letter is intended to sabotage the P5+1 talks now in progress.

The condescending letter, signed by 47 of 54 Republican senators, must have Iran’s Revolutionary Guard celebrating. With enemies like these who needs friends?

I was “part of a terror organization,” says Israeli pilot turned activist

In July 2002, Salah Shehadeh, head of the armed branch of Hamas in Gaza, was bombed in the middle of the night with an F-16 dropping a one-ton bomb on his house where he was sleeping with his children and his wife. The bomb killed fifteen people, most of them children, and about 150 were injured. If I needed some answer for my questions and doubts, that was clear: this is a terror attack. And I’m part of a terror organization.

NATO General Philip Breedlove said, “What is clear is that right now, it is not getting better. It is getting worse every day.”

The U.S. is sending more military hardware to the region and pushing for a fresh round of new sanctions. The Russians, according to Zerohedge.com, are hinting at deploying nukes in Crimea, but the Russians have “no plans to do so.” As the situation heats up, Germany is getting more worried a wider war will break out. NATO General Philip Breedlove said, “What is clear is that right now, it is not getting better. It is getting worse every day.” Germany doesn’t feel that way, and it is trying to defuse the situation. It is reported that Berlin thinks NATO is engaging in “dangerous propaganda.”

How Iran and the US intersect in “Syraq”

The self-described “Don’t Do Stupid Stuff” Obama administration, with its rambling foreign policy, is driving the real Masters of the Universe who control the current world system absolutely crazy.

A cliffhanger debate will take place this Wednesday at the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Picture Secretary of State John Kerry, new Pentagon supremo Ashton Carter, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey all testifying in the same room.

The meat of the matter: the House of Cards, sorry, US Congress mulling over what’s the real deal behind the Obama administration’s proposal to use “military force” in Syria, and whether to impose a no-fly zone to protect Syrian “rebels”.

Hillary’s Email Mess Gets Messier

“In early March 2015, Secretary Clinton confirmed reports that she used a personal email account, rather than a government account, for government business during her tenure at State. Although AP’s FOIA requests have been pending for years, State first asked Secretary Clinton to turn over emails from that personal account only last summer. Secretary Clinton reportedly provided about 50,000 pages of printed emails to State late last year, and has said she wants those emails to be released to the public. State’s failure to ensure that Secretary Clinton’s governmental emails were retained and preserved by the agency, and its failure timely to seek out and search those emails in response to AP’s requests, indicate at the very least that State has not engaged in the diligent, good-faith search that FOIA requires.”

Nigel Farage - I’m taking on the establishment, and they hate me for it’

Pint in one hand, [cigarette] in the other, Nigel Farage is passing withering judgement on the political class. ‘They don’t pass the Farage Test’, he says of Cameron, Clegg and Miliband. The Farage Test? Warming to his theme, his voice rising an octave, he explains. ‘I judge everybody by two simple criteria. Number one: would I employ them? And number two: would I want to have a drink with them? To pass the Farage Test, you only have to pass one of those. There are lots of people I’ve employed over the years who I wouldn’t choose to have a drink with, and there are lots of people who are completely useless but rather nice to have a bit of a jolly with. But this mob don’t pass either.’ Then, after eviscerating Them, calling into question their employability and drinkability, wondering out loud if they’re even ‘proper people’, he lets out what I think we should call the Farage Laugh: a deep and hearty, nicotine-stained guffaw at the world: ‘HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.’

South Yorkshire Police accused of covering up widespread sexual abuse in Sheffield on a scale 'bigger than Rotherham'

South Yorkshire Police has been accused of ignoring hundreds of reports of sexual abuse against young girls in a widespread cover-up deemed 'bigger than Rotherham'.

Tony Brookes, a former police constable with 30 years' service, claims the force knew that girls as young as 12-years-old were being raped and assaulted but chose to ignore it.

It is understood that more than 200 girls were reported to the force as being potential victims of sexual exploitation in Sheffield, mainly between 2007 and 2010.

Mr Brookes, who has now left the force, said he believes the 'size of the exploitation was massive in Sheffield', adding: 'I think bigger than in Rotherham'.

IDF prepares for possibility of multi-pronged terror attack coming from Sinai

"The scenario that we are preparing for is a multi-pronged terror threat directed against our forces and civilians in the Eilat area,"
***
"In the past, we have seen incidents in this area. The scenario is a multi-pronged attack, not just at one site, and we will likely have to deal with this challenge without prior warning."
***
"our mission as a division is to ensure a feeling of security and routine in the area. Whether it is in Eilat or Nitzana. The operational challenges are very complicated, because on the one hand you have here a peaceful border, and on the other hand a frontier area in Sinai has developed that enables terrorist groups to grow like Ansar Bayit al-Maqdis which became an ISIS affiliate. This organization, as we have seen recently, creates a number of terror attacks against the Egyptian army, and this is one of the more bothersome challenges which we are preparing for."

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, criticized an open letter sent by 47 U.S. Republican Senators to Tehran about the ongoing negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, saying the move showed "disintegration" in U.S. politics.

The Two Drunk Secret Service Agents Drove Into A Crime Scene investigation

Secret Service agents nearly drove over 'suspicious package' in investigation near White House, sources say

The two Secret Service agents who were drinking on the night they drove into a crime scene investigation near the White House almost ran over a “suspicious package,” sources told Fox News on Thursday.

The details of the March 4 incident come as officials seek to downplay what’s been the latest embarrassing episode for the troubled agency.

Police were examining the package around 10 p.m. when the two senior agents – one of whom is a top member of President Obama’s protective detail – arrived at a guard shack checkpoint that had been vacated due to its proximity to the package, which turned out to be a book covered in a shirt.

The officers on duty who witnessed the incident wanted to arrest the agents and conduct sobriety tests, but they were ordered by a supervisor on duty that night to let the agents go home.

Cotton’s Iran Letter - The GOP, Iran, and Diplomatic Sabotage

The letter to Tehran, dated March 9, reads like a childish exclamation, an impetuous feeling that its authors are being left out in the cold of history. “It has come to our attention while observing your nuclear negotiations with our government that you may not fully understand our constitutional system.”

With school teacher dourness, the note goes on to defang and denude any agreement that might arise between the Obama administration and that of Ayatollah Khamenei and his colleagues. “Congress,” it reminds the readers, “plays the significant role of ratifying [international agreements]”.

The Maui GMO ban, human experimentation, and war crimes

To summarize: in the last election, the voters of Maui, in a ballot measure, decided to place a temporary ban on further Dow/Monsanto GMO/pesticide experiments in Maui County.

Immediately, Monsanto, Dow, and yes, even the County government of Maui (betraying their own voters), lined up against the results of the vote.

Monsanto and Dow, joined by the Maui County government, sued to nullify the results of the vote, claiming the regulation of GMOs comes under the control of the state of Hawaii and the federal government, and can’t be decided at the county level.

That’s where we are now. The voters’ demands are suspended in limbo. Their legal call for an independent commission to investigate the practices of Monsanto and Dow in Maui County, and decide whether they threaten the people and the land—that urgent call has been silenced for the time being.

The Republican Party Is a Party of Subversives

The modern Republican party has become an authentic mechanism for political subversion, and it's not just unknown crazy people from Texas who are driving the train. A rookie meathead submarines the president's foreign policy. Rick Perry is currently running for president on a platform more suited to a campaign conducted under the Articles of Confederation. Mitch McConnell, the majority leader of the United States Senate, has suggested that governors out in the several states ignore the Environmental Protection Agency. At every conservative gathering, from CPAC on down, there at least is one panel touting the benefits of nullification and old-school states rights politics. Yes, a lot of it is about how states rights got whipped over civil rights in the 1960's, but it's not all about race. It's about a deliberate, calculated attempt by one of the only two political parties we allow ourselves to dismantle the federal union.

GOP Senate Aides: Iran Letter Was ‘Lighthearted’

Outrageous Facts About US Congress and Super Pacs

The following facts are very difficult to believe but they are actually true. They show that Congress is all about money and lobby politics:

1. The collective net worth of all members is reportedly over 2 billion dollars. But it could be higher, as more than 50 percent are millionaires.

2. This is during a time when the net worth of most American households has declined.

3. The average net worth for a member is $3.8 million and counting.

4. The average cost of winning a seat in Congress is $1.1 million, while in the Senate it is $6.5 million. Spending on political campaigns has gotten way out of control.

5. Insider trading is legal for members, and they refuse to pass a law that would change that.

6. The percentage of millionaires in Congress is 50 times higher than the percentage of millionaires in the country.
