Nearly Half of Americans Concerned Jade Helm Will “Impose Greater Control Over States”

While the media has been busy trying to reassure the public over the frightening tone and scope of the Jade Helm 15 military exercises, it is clear that many Americans are not buying it.

A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen, the country is indeed quite alarmed over the exercise, with a near majority concerned about federal intrusion and apparent preparations to use martial law during crises – perhaps not too much different than what is going on in Baltimore, or previously in Ferguson.

But 45% of voters are concerned that the government will use U.S. military training operations to impose greater control over some states, with 19% who are Very Concerned. Just over half (52%) are not concerned that the government has an ulterior motive for the training exercises, including 26% who are Not At All Concerned.

The secret corporate takeover hidden in the TPP

Corporations would be able to overturn laws and regulations that protect us NEW YORK (Project Syndicate) — The United States and the world are engaged in a great debate about new trade agreements. Such pacts used to be called “free-trade agreements”; in fact, they were managed trade agreements, tailored to corporate interests, largely in the U.S. and the European Union. Today, such deals are more often referred to as “partnerships,” as in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

“The biggest company you’ve never heard of” acquired by major military contractor you’ve heard of

Last week, one of the biggest names in military-intelligence contracting, SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) acquired “the biggest [military-intelligence] company you’ve never heard of,” Scitor, for $790 million. That quote about Scitor was told by a former NSA officer to investigative journalist Tim Shorrock, author of the definitive book on the military-intelligence complex, “Spies For Hire: The Secret World of Intelligence Outsourcing”. In the press release, SAIC describes its newest acquisition as “a leading national security provider focused on classified US Air Force and intelligence community programs,” with annual revenues of $600 million.

Vatican officially recognizes Palestine, while Israel fumes

I bet somebody is really pissed!

The Vatican has become the latest country to recognize the state of Palestine, after a new treaty was finalized on Wednesday. Unsurprisingly Israel has hit out at the move, saying that it damages prospects for peace in the region.

The treaty, which was agreed, though has yet to be formally signed states the Vatican has switched its diplomatic allegiance from the Palestinian Liberation Organization to the state of Palestine.

The Military & the Militia

A standing army has always been used by despots to enforce their rule and to keep their people under subjection. Its existence was therefore considered a great threat to peace and stability in a republic and a danger to the rights of the nation. Since every aspect of government was designed to prevent the rise of tyranny, strict limits and control over the military were considered absolutely necessary. It was essential that the military be subordinate to civilian control.

In the Belly of the Chemical Beast: Hawaiian Activists Confront Syngenta on Its Home Turf

I first met Malia Chun in late 2013, in front of her home on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i, where she pointed between the houses across the street to a nearby field where the agrichemical giant Syngenta tests and produces genetically engineered corn treated with a considerable amount of pesticide.

I met up with Chun again a year and a half later, this time in Syngenta's front yard in Basel, Switzerland. After a short ride through winding, medieval streets on the city's famously punctual public transit, we took pictures outside the tall office building that serves as Syngenta's global headquarters, where a security guard told us we had no chance of getting inside without an employee escort. Unimpressed, Chun asked two university students sitting nearby if they were familiar with Syngenta. The students said they knew that Syngenta sold pesticides, and that a few weeks ago, demonstrators had hung a sign from the building in protest of chemicals thought to harm bees.

Barak, a former Israeli military chief, served as prime minister from 1999 to 2001. More recently, he served as defense minister before retiring from politics in 2013.

The Frightening GMO Food Fraud

The nub of his argument is that genetically engineered (GE) food products, as brand new substances produced by a means that is radically different from traditional plant breeding, are on the market illegally because American law requires that such new products be extensively tested before they can be sold. To do the required testing over the extended time period required, however, would make the whole GE venture uneconomic, so the law has been skirted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The skirting has been done by treating GE foods (now generally called genetically modified organisms or GMOs, originally meant to be a euphemism because it sounded better than “engineered”) in the same way as we treat foods that have stood the test of time and are simply generally recognized as safe (GRAS).

Collectivists Hate Individuality, Tribalism And ''Fast And Furious 7''?

By Brandon Smith

Sometimes in the liberty movement — with discussions of potential collapse, war, revolution, social destabilization, etc. — it is easy to get so caught up in the peripheral conflict between the elites and the citizenry that we forget what the whole thing is really about. That is to say, we tend to overlook the very core of the conflict that is shaping our epoch...

Behind the Illusions of Foreign Elections

Looking behind the illusions of foreign elections is much like lifting up a rock and exposing an underworld of creeping, crawling insects.

You know that when you lift the rock you're going to see some ugly things that you'd rather not look at but exposing the dark side of the rock to sunshine gives the rock a chance to cleanse itself as the bugs slither and scatter to find another place to hide.

Do you really think Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron won the UK elections? Actually, according to Politico, "Jim Messina Trounces David Axelrod in British Elections."

Here It Comes: Denmark Moving to a Totally Cashless Society

Can you imagine living in a world where your every economic move is tracked and traced and completely reliant on computers?

Headlines today are declaring that not just a few, but millions of smart grid devices are open to cyberattacks, and that smart grid security is basically a joke. Bitcoin seems like a good idea on the surface, but there are too many instances where accounts get hacked, money gets stolen, or worse, people get scammed out of millions. Why?

Because it's all online... it is intangible. You can't physically hold it in your hand, therefore, you can't physically protect it.

Not that fiat currency is so much better, but this is going to be so much worse.

Congress Unites to Demand Answers on Deadly Incompetence of FBI

With all of its shortcomings, at least the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has achieved one thing: In a harshly divided Congress, its astonishing ineptitude—or worse—has managed to unite Republicans and Democrats. This ineptitude may have literally sent innocent people to their deaths.

In a strongly worded letter, the GOP chairman and the ranking Democrat of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform demanded answers from FBI Director James Comey regarding the recent revelations that the Bureau’s forensic “experts” made erroneous statements in an unfathomable 95% of trials involving microscopic hair analysis.

What Does U.S. Treasury Do With Vaccine Excise Taxes It Collects?

By Catherine J. Frompovich

Earlier this year I started to research what’s known as the “Vaccine Injury Trust Fund,” a “stash” of cash collected on every vaccine sold and given to children and adults in the USA.

That Trust Fund is “financed” by a $0.75 excise tax on each vaccine active recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. On multi-valent vaccines, i.e., those containing more than one disease active e.g., trivalent vaccines like MMR, DTaP, etc., then 75 cents is paid for each valent, or a total of $2.25 for a 3-valent vaccine.

Now, here’s an interesting aspect: The U.S. Department of Treasury collects those excise taxes and also manages the Trust Fund’s investments. Investments? Sounds like there should be quite a stash in that Trust Fund portfolio...

Regulation and Red Tape Cost Us $1.88 Trillion per Year

American’s frequently complain about the amount of income taxes they have to pay every year, and understandably so. Income taxes average between 20-30% for most middle and upper-class Americans. However, US citizens hardly pay the most when compared to the rest of the world. Belgium, for instance, has the highest income tax rate for average wage earners, at 42.8%.

But where these statistics get tricky, is when it comes to hidden taxes. The one’s that don’t show up on your tax form. For that, United States takes the cake, or is at least paying more than most countries. A new report from the Competitive Enterprise Institute found that Americans are collectively paying $1.88 trillion due to federal regulations. When a new regulation is enforced on a particular industry, those costs are passed down to the consumer, so the things we buy and the services we use have a hidden tax that doesn’t show up on the price tag.

PSYCHOPATHS, 9/11 AND EVERLASTING WAR

The lie of 9/11 has provided the pretext for the most terrible wars on the Muslim peoples in defiance of the Nuremberg Protocols and the UN Charter.

Unless that lie is laid bare by truth, 9/11 will be seen as the crucible from which World War Three erupted. There will be no way back from the smoking ruins for those unfortunate enough who survive. The images from Hiroshima and Nagasaki are there to warn us.

I cannot recall when I became certain that 19 Muslims with box cutters were NOT responsible for these events.
