Ninth U.S. Circuit Rules OPEN CARRY of Firearms Guaranteed by Second Amendment - IN ALL STATES! ** NO PERMIT NEEDED **

A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit has just ruled that the right to openly carry a firearm for the purpose of self-defense is a protected activity under the Second Amendment. The case is Young vs. Hawaii and the lawsuit challenges a Hawaii law, which says A concealed carry or open carry permit is only issued once you’ve convinced the local police chief that you are engaged in an activity “[w]here the urgency or the need has been sufficiently indicated” and the applicant “is engaged in the protection of life and property.”

Government Admits AR-15s Are Not Weapons of War

In its settlement with Cody Wilson’s Defense Distributed the government admitted that semi-automatic firearms below .50 caliber are not weapons of war.

On July 10, 2018, Breitbart News reported that the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) brought a suit against the State Department on Wilson’s behalf. The suit was filed in 2015 and was the result of State Department action to force Wilson to quit sharing 3-D gun files online.

Wilson and SAF fought the suit on First Amendment grounds and secured a settlement with the State Department and the Department of Justice, the latter of which finalizes the settlement.

The amended regulations proposed in the settlement show the government will no longer look at semi-automatic firearms below .50 caliber as “military equipment” or weapons of war.

Lawsuit settlement will allow online blueprints for 3D-printed guns

Beginning Aug. 1, a Texas company will be able to publish its blueprints to make guns from 3D printers without fear of reprisal by the U.S. State Department.

Defense Distributed will be able to publish the blueprints as a result of a June 29 lawsuit settlement with the federal agency, report Wired, Vice News, the San Jose Mercury News, the New York Times and USA Today. Josh Blackman’s Blog posted a press release.

The State Department had warned company chief Cody Wilson in 2013 that he could go to jail for violating federal export controls after he published blueprints for a 3D pistol called “The Liberator”. Defense Distributed had claimed in its 2015 suit that the State Department violated the company’s First Amendment rights by trying to control its online speech under a federal law controlling exports of military articles.

Liberal Ninth Circuit Says Open-Carrying A Gun Is A Constitutional Right

The ultra-liberal and frequently overturned U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit just ruled that the Second Amendment protects one’s right to carry a gun openly outside of the home.

“We do not take lightly the problem of gun violence,” the majority opinion in Young v. Hawaii reads. Here’s more, emphasis added.

Trump Judges Make Moves to Rescue Second Amendment in Appeals Court

President Trump’s impact on the federal courts was on display Friday when the Fifth Circuit appeals court fell shy of rehearing a case to strike down a federal gun control law, with a unanimous bloc of Trump judges calling the Second Amendment a “fundamental civil right” and suggesting that supporters of this gun-control law were plagued by “hoplophobia” – the medical term for the irrational fear of guns. The president is on the verge of making America’s first pro-MAGA court – but only if he fills its final open seat with another reliable conservative.

How To End The Assault On Assault Firearms

One need not be a psychologist well versed in the twisted workings of the politically psychopathic mind to realize that “gun-control” fanatics’ long-range goal is to ban private individuals’ possession of all firearms of every type, so as to render Americans defenseless against oppression by a totalitarian police state. Although at the present time these fanatics cannot convince more than a tiny minority of Americans of the desirability of their ultimate aim, they have hit upon a strategy to achieve it step-by-step through plays on words. Their approach is based upon the old adage that “to kill a dog you must first call it mad”. To be sure, even they recognize that any firearm can be used to commit an “assault”, just as any firearm can be used for the purpose of “defense”; and that the capacity of any magazine designed to hold more even than two cartridges can be deemed “high” in comparison to a magazine holding only that many.

A Cop Who Responded to a Deadly School Shooting Explains Why He Now Trains Teachers to Carry Guns

"I made a promise to her," Cunningham said. "I made a promise to her that I couldn't give my life for her that day, but I’ll give every day of my fucking life for her. For the rest of my days. And that's why I do it. That's why I want this so bad. I want this program so bad because no one deserves to die in their school. No one should go to school worried about getting shot."

In the aftermath of the shooting, Cunningham started his own training program and eventually became involved with FASTER Colorado.

Gallup: Gun Control Not High on List of Problems

Gallup’s July survey found that the number of Americans who cited guns or gun control as the most important problem facing America had returned to levels similar to before the shooting in Parkland, Fla. This month, just two percent of Americans say guns and gun control are the most important problem. It was only a few short months ago that a record number of Americans cited guns as the most important problem (April, 13%). Guns aren’t mentioned at all in the Gallup article on the July survey – not even in the section about “Americans’ Views of the Top Problem Facing the U.S.”

The Ninth Circuit Protects Gun Rights and Stops Confiscation

Every now and then the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals — arguably the nation’s most progressive federal circuit — can offer up a legal surprise. Yesterday, it gave us a legal shock, when a divided panel of its judges affirmed last year’s federal district-court injunction temporarily blocking enforcement of California’s confiscatory ban on so-called large-capacity magazines.

Under California law, any person who possesses a legally purchased magazine capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition must either remove the magazine from the state, sell it to a licensed firearm dealer, or hand it over to law enforcement. Those citizens who retained their magazines after the law went into effect risked a fine or up to one year’s imprisonment in county jail.

WATCH: Hillary Said In 2010 That Obama Wanted To 'Strengthen Russia'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a 2010 interview on Russian television with Vladimir Pozner that the Obama administration wanted to "help strengthen Russia."

"What is being done to make it easier for Americans to come to Russia and for Russians to visit America?" Pozner asked.

"Well, we want to encourage a lot more travel and a lot more exchanges," Clinton responded. "As we move forward and we get more experience between our two countries and facilitating business travel, tourism travel, education travel, every kind of travel, I think it will become, at least I hope, easier and easier."

"Many of our businesses want to have their business leaders come and have open-ended visas and similarly a lot of Russians want to be able to come and have as much time as they need," Clinton continued. "That's what I would like to work towards."

How Entertainment Shows Have Become Vehicles for Gun Control Propaganda

All of the major television networks use their primetime entertainment shows to push a pro-gun control agenda. Liberal television executives apparently think that they have the power to change Americans’ attitudes.

Not liking guns has been portrayed as cool for a long time. It is an old theme that dates back to the original 1980s MacGyver series, in which the titular character avoids using guns and expresses his aversion to them. This theme has continued with the current remake.

But the push to sway public opinion really seems to have picked up. This spring on ABC’s “The Crossing,” the sheriff’s young son says, “I don’t like guns” when a deputy suggests he may someday replace his father. The deputy appears discomforted by the exchange.

Pro-gun rocker Ted Nugent turns away firearms from his Roanoke show

(This guy is an amazing hypocrite!) ROANOKE, Va. - Famous rocker Ted Nugent performed in Roanoke on Tuesday night despite protests in the weeks leading up to the show. Nugent is a gun rights supporter and encourages open carry, but his fans were told at the last minute that they were not allowed to bring their guns inside the Berglund Performing Arts Theater. It was Ted Nugent's management that made the decision to not allow guns into the show. The Berglund Center said because it is city owned, it can't keep guns out unless the performers are the ones who request it, and that it was actually in Nugent's contract all along..."Given the things that have happened in nightclubs like the Pulse and what happened in Manchester, (Nugent's) security people are taking extra precautions," Schon said. New Jersey Police Attempting Gun Seizures Without Warrants, Veteran Declines

In upholding proper firearm safety practices, the veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, of course, had not been storing his weapons in the 13-year-old’s room and also possessed “all the correct permits to own” the guns.

Even worse, Cottrell later reported that the police “had admitted several times that my son made no threat to himself or to other students or the school or anything like that.”

Still, the police demanded that Cottrell forfeit his right to bear arms “while the investigation continued.”

However, Cottrell was not about to give up such a freedom without a fight, saying “that he was ‘not going to willingly give up my constitutional rights where there’s no justifiable case, no warrants, no nothing.’”

While still a horrific rights violation, the responding officers did offer Cottrell a compromise hours later: to at least temporarily relocate his weapons.

DOJ Settles In Landmark Gun Suit, Safeguarding The Second Amendment

In 2013, hot-shot crypto-anarchist Cody Wilson warned the world that downloadable guns were imminent and gun control as we know it, a mere fantasy. Some five years later, fresh off a huge effective win against the State Department — which allows for Wilson to post his 3D-printable gun files online, "communist style," as he calls it — Wilson says gun control is officially dead. And he killed her.

"I barely put a million bucks into this and I got you the Second Amendment forever," he boasted to The Daily Wire in a phone interview. "What has the NRA done for you lately?"

Due to the terms of the surprising settlement of the United States government, Wilson can begin posting his open-source technical data, including files for every gun up to .50 caliber available through commerce, on July 27. An irrevocable content dump, according to Wilson, which renders gun control efforts increasingly futile.

Swiss Gun Rights Supporters Refuse to Capitulate to International Gun Controllers

In a piece for the SVP website, National Councilor David Zuberbühler outlined the party’s position on the new EU gun law. Zuberbühler explained that complying with the new rules would result in more bureaucracy and less security, by requiring the Swiss cantons to establish large and costly administrative schemes. Noting that the new restrictions would do nothing to combat terrorism, the councilor explained that violent criminals would acquire their weapons on the black market. Zuberbühler also pointed out that in 2011 Swiss citizens had the opportunity to adopt strict gun controls through a referendum. These gun restrictions were rejected at the polls.

A LANDMARK LEGAL SHIFT OPENS PANDORA’S BOX FOR DIY GUNS

Two months ago, the Department of Justice quietly offered Wilson a settlement to end a lawsuit he and a group of co-plaintiffs have pursued since 2015 against the United States government. Wilson and his team of lawyers focused their legal argument on a free speech claim: They pointed out that by forbidding Wilson from posting his 3-D-printable data, the State Department was not only violating his right to bear arms but his right to freely share information. By blurring the line between a gun and a digital file, Wilson had also successfully blurred the lines between the Second Amendment and the First.

"If code is speech, the constitutional contradictions are evident," Wilson explained to WIRED when he first launched the lawsuit in 2015. "So what if this code is a gun?”

County of Parkland Massacre Votes for Armed Guards in All Schools

The horrific Valentines Day massacre at Majority Stoneman Douglas high school in Parkland County sparked a gun control movement among the student body. Out of it emerged the “March for Our Lives,” a highly organized movement aided in large part by the media and some elected officials.

While there was an initial rise in support for gun control following the shooting, it’s since faded. No meaningful Federal legislation passed whatsoever, though Florida Governor Rick Scott did sign legislation that raised the age to purchase a firearm to 21, introduced a three-day waiting period on all gun sales, and a ban on bump stocks. The same bill also increased funding for the training and arming of school staff. None of the semi-automatic weapons (particularly so-called “assault weapons”) that activists call to have banned were affected.

Anti-gun violence protesters shut down Chicago highway, governor gets blasted for calling it 'chaos'

The governor of Illinois has been accused of living in a “fantasy land” after he condemned Chicago’s mayor on social media for allowing the rally that saw the city’s interstate shut down by anti-violence protesters.

Thousands of protesters marched down the 2.5 kilometer stretch of Interstate 94, also called the Dan Ryan Expressway, protesting gun violence gripping the city. The Saturday march ran for roughly three hours and under 90 minutes after local police shut off northbound traffic while the governor's office wanted them to block just two lanes.

American Revolutionary Song: Chester - William Billings

Chester was a patriotic anthem composed by William Billings and sung during the American Revolutionary War. Billings wrote the first version of the song for his 1770 songbook The New England Psalm Singer, and made improvements for the version in his The Singing Master's Assistant (1778). It is the latter version that is best known today.

The curious title of the song reflects a common practice of Billings's day, in which tunes were labeled with (often arbitrarily chosen) place names. Billings's song evidently has little more to do with any particular town named Chester than his hymn tune Africa has to do with Africa. With identifiable names for compositions, performers could select different lyrics to sing with the music without creating confusion.
This song would rival Yankee Doodle as the unofficial anthem of the rebel colonies

American Revolutionary War Song:Ballad of the Green Mountain Boys

Lyrics:

Ho--all to the borders! Vermonters, come down,
With your britches of deerskin and jackets of brown;
With your red woolen caps and your moccasins come,
To the gathering summons of trumpet and drum.
Come down with your rifle!
Let gray wolf and fox
Howl on in the shadow of primitive rocks;
Let bear feed securely from pig-pen and stall;
Here's two-legged game for your powder and ball.
Then cheer, cheer, the green mountaineer, then cheer, cheer the green mountaineer

On the south came the Hessians, our land to police;
And armed for the battle while canting of peace;
On our east came the British, the red coated band
To hang up our leaders and eat up our land.
Ho--all to the rescue! For Satan shall work
No gain for the legions of Hampshire and York!
They claim our possessions--the pitiful knaves--
The tribute we pay shall be prisons and graves!
Then cheer, cheer, the green mountaineer, then cheer, cheer the green mountaineer

"More than just a new strategy or tactic, we are foundationally changing the way we fight crime in Chicago. U.S. Promises “Full Implementation” of UN Gun-control Agreement

June 29 marked the end of the Third Review Conference (RevCon) of the United Nations’ Programme of Action (PoA) on Small Arms and Light Weapons. Delegates at the conference, including representatives of the United States, worked on producing updates to the global gun-control agreement.

According to the text of the latest draft of the agreement, the PoA will serve as an “international instrument to enable states to identify and trace, in a timely and reliable manner” the small arms and light weapons that are the target of the scheme.

In practice, this means that the governments of member nations (including the United States) should create a massive, all-inclusive database of all parties that manufacture, own, sell, trade, or transfer arms and ammunition.

People Keep Dying in Chicago as Politicians Stay Stuck on Stupid

Since the drug gangs are shooting up your city to the tune of about 10 people a day, you can always blame guns. Well, sort of. That excuse doesn’t really work either. Blaming guns for Chicago violence means that gun-control laws don’t work since Chicago is the gun control capital of the US. Firearms owner ID cards don’t work. Waiting periods don’t work. Mandatory firearms training doesn’t work. Firearms purchase permits and magazine capacity restrictions don’t work. Regulating gun stores out of Chicago doesn’t work. None of that works because criminals don’t obey the gun control laws. Tell the reporters that you need more laws anyway. You can always blame guns coming in from some other state..even though those other states don’t have the violence problem you see in Chicago, Illinois.

Right now, the anti-gun zealots are preoccupied with so-called “assault rifles.” They’re doing everything they can to gin up support for a ban, hoping that a weak-spined majority in Congress will “bow to the will of the people” if they can just get enough support and hold onto it for a long enough period of time.

Therefore, the single most effective initiative that President Trump can take to prevent civil war is to arrest George Soros.

Troy Skinner had stopped taking his anti-psychotic meds prior to US home invasion, friends say

Troy Skinner was on anti-psychotic medication for a major depressive order but had stopped taking the drug before he tried to break into a US home, his friends say.

The 25-year-old was shot by the mother of a 14-year-old girl he'd been talking to online on Friday, when he turned up to their Virginia home uninvited with duct tape, pepper spray and a knife.

Skinner remains in hospital and has been charged with breaking and entering with a deadly weapon, with the intent to rape, rob or murder. The maximum penalty for the charge is life in jail.

"He is being held without bond and he won't have a bond hearing until he is released from the hospital," the Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew said.

Friends of Skinner have told the Herald that Skinner had been taking Quetapel, an anti-psychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bi-polar, major depressive disorder or as a sleeping aid.

A New Zealand man who travelled to the US home of a 14-year-old girl he had communicated with online was shot by the girl's mother, a sheriff said yesterday.

Troy George Skinner, 25, was shot on Friday after he allegedly smashed a glass door and tried to enter the home in Goochland, Virginia, said sheriff James Agnew.

New Zealand Police said in a statement it is aware of the incident and will assist US authorities when necessary.

The Goochland County sheriff said Skinner was found with duct tape, pepper spray and a camouflage folding clip knife with a 7cm blade. The duct tape and the knife had been purchased from a Walmart on the day of the attack.

Agnew said the girl's mother saw a man trying to enter her home, warned him several times she had a gun, then fired after he broke the glass on the second door he tried to open.

The state of New Jersey, which is known for its strict gun laws, has tightened regulations with new legislation that gives citizens 180 days to surrender all firearms and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds —and if they are caught with the newly illegal contraband, they will be treated as criminals.

Bloomberg Donates Millions for Gun Control Bills

Notoriously self-serving and self-funding billionaire and NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is pledging $80 million for congressional candidates supporting gun control in the hopes of flipping the House of Representatives accordingly.

He did however give a shout out to Republican Senators John McCain (AZ) and Pat Toomey (PA) for breaking with the NRA to support knee-jerk legislation in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School attack.

We’re wondering how this isn’t equivalent to aiding and abetting the red coats as they marched on their way to Lexington and Concord to disarm the colonials.

We should remind Bloomberg that that episode did not end well for the British.

Trenton shooting: Suspected gunman killed at Art All Night was gang member with violent past

Authorities said Wells was carrying a handgun with an extended magazine -- a gun that's illegal to possess in New Jersey. It was one of several guns recovered at the scene. Authorities also commented on his violent past.

Wells was sentenced in 2004 to 18 years in state prison after pleading guilty to aggravated manslaughter in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Robert McNair during a dispute over who should drive a car Wells had driven from a local bar. Wells was 17 at the time of his killing, authorities said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Another reminder that all the gun laws in the world do not keep criminals from having guns.

DON’T BELIEVE THE MEDIA — GUN HOMICIDE RATES DROPPED BY 40% AS OWNERSHIP SKYROCKETED

The story is all too familiar: America is facing a historic crime wave, and guns are to blame. With shootings and school violence near all-time highs, it’s time to have a serious talk about the Second Amendment and gun ownership in the modern world. Did that opening get your attention? It should, but mainly because it’s blatantly false. You wouldn’t know it by listening to the mainstream media, however. That false appraisal of crime in the U.S. is often spread by voices on the left, but the actual facts paint a very different picture.

The economic assault on the 2nd Amendment

During the Barack Obama regime the Department of Just(Us) launched Operation Choke Point, a multi-pronged strategy emanating from the administration to bureaucratically hamstring businesses that lawfully deal in firearms. The goal was to lean on banks to cut ties to gun dealers, especially small mom-and-pop operations, even if even if those companies had valid licenses and good credit histories. This followed 2011 warning by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that classified the firearms trade as a “high-risk” business category, setting it up as requiring more paperwork and creating a “litigation risk and reputation risk for financial institutions,” as then FDIC General Counsel Richard Osterman said at the time.

TOWNS CREATE GUN-STORE FREE ZONES, CONFIDENT CONSTITUTION IS ON THEIR SIDE

Officials in New Jersey fed up with federal inaction are flexing policy muscles rarely used to regulate gun dealers: local zoning codes that effectively ban firearm stores. To give the crackdown constitutional cover, they took cues from a recent federal court decision on the other side of the country.

Secretary Clinton Awarded Anti-Second Amendment Consolation Prize

The founders did not foresee the rise of the mass media and the takeover of that media by an ideology dedicated to fraud, trickery, and manipulation. They did not foresee the domination of the government by the media. The Second Amendment was designed to prevent the takeover of the sovereignty of the people by force. Progressives have worked mightily to use their subversion of the First Amendment to degrade the power of the Second Amendment.

We’re Not Out To Take Your Guns... Right.... And more recent incredible lies from the grabbers...

I have one small thing to ask of the gun-prohibitionists. Please stop lying to us. For extra credit, I’d like the rights-restrictors to stop lying to themselves as well. Even that may be too much to ask. If the gun control advocates must lie, then make up some new propaganda. The old lies are wearing thin, and here are some obvious ones. See if you agree.

David Hogg Relaunches Advertiser Boycott Against Laura Ingraham

Gun control activist David Hogg renewed efforts to get advertisers to boycott Fox News’ Laura Ingraham by tweeting a list of advertisers that include Cabela’s and John Deere.

CBNBC reports Hogg originally sought a boycott of Ingraham in late March after he felt slighted by her during his gun control campaign. His boycott efforts revolved around comments she made regarding the list of colleges that refused to accept him.

Now he is pointing to comments Ingraham made in support of President Trump’s commitment to enforcing existing immigration law. This support includes Ingraham describing detention centers for children illegally crossing the border as “summer camps.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The look on Hogg's face says it all.

The best way to make sure you’re always protected today is to carry a gun. Chances are you’re reading this because you’re on the fence about concealed carry. Not only should you carry for your own protection, but you should carry because it’s your right with the 2nd amendment.

Andrew Cuomo Pushes Bill That Would Make It Easy to Take Away People’s Gun Rights

The New York bill, which still needs to be approved by the state Senate, allows a wide range of people to seek GVROs, including police officers, prosecutors, family or household members, and school employees such as guidance counselors, teachers, coaches, and administrators. It allows a judge to issue a temporary GVRO if he determines there is “probable cause to believe the respondent is likely to engage in conduct that would result in serious harm” to himself or others. That is a low threshold.

Dem Candidate Calls to "Address Toxic Masculinity," 'No Guns Or Ammo For Anyone On No Fly List'

Levi Tillerman, grandson of late 'holocaust survivor' Congressman Tom Lantos, also wants to impeach Trump for "aiding white supremacists & treason." Levi begins, "Most mass shooters are men. We must end the toxic culture of violence which ties masculinity to warfare & guns. We must nurture young boys, not indoctrinate them into violence and domination." He adds a proposal of "No Fly No Buy - NO guns or ammo for anyone on the no fly list," despite the fact that hundreds of thousands or more Americans are placed on these 'terrorist' lists secretly, with no crime committed, no due process and with no legitimate reason given.

Mass Shootings and Psychiatric Drugs: The Connection
