Drazha Mikhailovich: the man upon which the future Serbia will be rebuilt!

This is a very special day for me, because the topics I will be covering are all very dear to my heart and to my entire family. Following the Bolshevik revolution my family and another 1.5 million Russians fled their beloved motherland at the end of the civil war. All our so-called European “allies” immediately betrayed us (what else is new?), organized an intervention and backed the russophobic Bolshevik regime (yes, helping both side in turn, like the Empire today in, say, the Kurdish areas of Iraq and Syria). All except one: the Serbs which, at the time, were triumphant (WWI) but also had to rebuild a war ravaged Serbia, with most of its infrastructure destroyed, and coping with the death of nearly 30% of its entire population.

Debunking the Putin and Netanyahu/Israel work together canard (final installment)

This will not be an analysis or even a commentary. Neither am I siding with, or expressing support for, the Turkish military operation in norther Syria. Finally, I am not discussing the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of the Kurdish Independence movement. All I propose to do here, is to draw your attention to a series of facts and logical imperatives which, in my opinion debunk and falsify the disinformation campaign aimed at convincing us that Putin and Netanyahu are working hand in glove or, even better, that Putin is a puppet of the Israelis. So, with that in mind, here we go:

Russia, US veto European statement on Turkey's Syria action

Russian and the United States have used their veto power at the United Nations Security Council to vote down a European statement against Turkey's invasion of northern Syria.

The council held a closed meeting on Thursday to discuss Ankara's military incursion, which began on Wednesday despite widespread warnings by world leaders.

Moscow and Washington had their own reasons to veto the statement by five European members — France, Germany, Belgium, Britain and Poland — who had called the meeting to end the bilateral military action.

In a joint statement after the discussions, the European called on Ankara "to cease the unilateral military action," warning that the offensive threatens progress.

Russian UN Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said his country would only support UNSC motions that address broader issues, including the presence of foreign forces in Syria.

Return to Russia: Crimeans Tell the Real Story of the 2014 Referendum and Their Lives Since

IMFEROPOL, CRIMEA — In early August I traveled to Russia for the first time, partly out of interest in seeing some of the vast country with a tourist’s eyes, partly to do some journalism in the region. It also transpired that while in Moscow I was able to interview Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman of the Foreign Ministry.

High on my travel list, however, was to visit Crimea and Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) — the former a part of Russia, the latter an autonomous republic in the east of Ukraine, neither accurately depicted in Western reporting. Or at least that was my sense looking at independent journalists’ reports and those in Russian media.

Ukrainian to US prosecutors: Why don't you want our evidence on Democrats?

Ukrainian law enforcement officials believe they have evidence of wrongdoing by American Democrats and their allies in Kiev, ranging from 2016 election interference to obstructing criminal probes. But, they say, they’ve been thwarted in trying to get the Trump Justice Department to act.

Kostiantyn Kulyk, deputy head of the Prosecutor General’s International Legal Cooperation Department, told me he and other senior law enforcement officials tried unsuccessfully since last year to get visas from the U.S. Embassy in Kiev to deliver their evidence to Washington.

Both regions are native Russian-speaking areas; both opted out of Ukraine in 2014. In the case of Crimea, joining Russia (or actually rejoining, as most I spoke to in Crimea phrased it) was something people overwhelmingly supported. In the case of the Donbass region, the turmoil of Ukraine’s Maidan coup in 2014 set things in motion for the people in the region to declare independence and form the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

Bye-bye Boeing: Russia’s biggest airline cancels 787 Dreamliner order

Russian flagship carrier Aeroflot has formally canceled an order for 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners valued at about $5.5 billion. This adds to the pressure on Boeing due to the grounding of 737 MAX jets after two recent crashes.

The cancelation was not announced by either side but was buried in Boeing’s monthly order release.

According to Reuters’ sources, the US plane maker faces the growing possibility that it may have to cut production back by 2022 as the grounding of its popular 737 MAX stretches into its eighth month.

Turkey Joins Russia's Ruble-Based Alternative To SWIFT

After repeated warnings over the past couple of years, Turkey and Russia have signed a pact to increase use of the ruble and lira in cross-border payments, with Turkey signing on to Russia's alternative to SWIFT, the international telecommunications protocol used by banks and central banks the world over.

Though SWIFT is an international cooperative owned by its members, with more than 10,000 banks worldwide relying on its system for handling sizable inter-bank transactions, the safety of the network was brought into question after a series of cyberattacks in 2015 and 2016 resulted in the theft of $101 million from the Central Bank of Bangladesh.

For the first time since SWIFT's laucnh, the hacks stoked doubts about the system's safety, and prompted many US rivals, including Russia, to ramp up work on their alternatives to SWIFT.

This is the only choice Syrian Kurds have. A rapprochement with Syria. With the Kurds back in the Syrian fold US troop deployment will be untenable. Trump and Ukraine: What We Know

If you’ve followed the Ukraine phone-call news, you might have noticed reality branching into two completely different movies. In one, President Trump was doing his job of protecting the republic by asking an allied country to help out on an important legal investigation. The other movie involves Orange Hitler bullying a foreign country into meddling in our elections by “digging up dirt” on a political opponent.

Which movie is the real one, if such a thing exists? I’d like to offer a rule of thumb for evaluating political news: If a fact is reported the same by both the left-leaning and the right-leaning press, it’s probably a fact. If not, wait and see.

Syria - Trump Gives A Green Light For Another Turkish Invasion

Erdogan wants to take a 30 kilometer deep strip including the M4 highway which runs west to east in that area.

But the border area Erdogan marked is quite populated with some 850,000 people living there. Most of them are Kurds.

There is only one solution for them. They will have to call up the Syrian government and ask it to come back into the north east. That would remove the Turkish concerns and would likely prevent further Turkish moves.

US gives green light to Turkey to launch military operation in north Syria

The United States has given the green light to Turkey to launch a military operation against Washington's long-time Kurdish allies in northern Syria.

The decision came after a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday.

“Turkey will soon be moving forward with its long-planned operation into northern Syria,” the White House said in a statement.

Syrian war update: Russia builds bridge across the Euphrates

ALEXANDER MERCOURIS
Editor-in-Chief at The Duran.

The US proxy war against Russia in Syria is not being fought so much as it is being lost
In the complex three cornered fight for Deir Ezzor province in eastern Syria between the Russian backed Syrian army, the US backed Kurdish militia, and ISIS, the Russians and the Syrians have just taken a dramatic step to gain for themselves strategic dominance over the other two.

This takes the form of a bridge built apparently built under fire from ISIS in just two days by Russian engineers across the Euphrates river near the city of Deir Ezzor, which will make possible the sending of armoured units of the Syrian army across the Euphrates river to bring the fight against ISIS and conceivably the Kurdish militia to the territories they occupy on the river’s east bank.

How An Ever Sanctioning Superpower Is Losing Its Status

The U.S. loves to dish out sanctions left and right and the Trump administration has increased their use. But sanctions, especially unilateral ones, do not work. The U.S. has not recognized that because it never looked if those sanctions fulfill their aims. A recent Government Accountability Office report found:

Th U.S. sanctions and sanctions and sanctions but never checked if sanctions work to the intended purpose. The efforts to sanction Russia have surely led to some unintended consequences. They are the reason why the alliance between China and Russia deepens every day. The U.S. has the exorbitant privilege of having its own currency being used as the international reserve. The sanctioning of U.S. dollar transactions is the reason why the U.S. is now losing it:

Russia Rolls Out Missile Early Warning Systems in Arctic

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Two new Voronezh-type missile early warning radars will become operational in 2022 in the Komi Republic and the Murmansk region in northern Russia, the Defence Ministry said.

"Work continues on the construction of new radar stations for the missile early warning network in the Komi Republic and the Murmansk region. These works are planned to be completed in 2022," the ministry said.

These new radars will be the first deployed in Russia's Far North.

Russia has deployed so far a total of seven operational Voronezh-type radars as part of the country's missile early warning network. The systems of this type are currently functioning in several Russian regions, including the Kaliningrad region, the Leningrad region and in Syberia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Russians must feel as though they have something very worthy of defending, if they are placing these early warning radars in this area.

Trump White House dares Pelosi to hold impeachment inquiry vote: report

The White House reportedly plans to send Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) a letter as early as Friday saying President Trump doesn’t need to comply with Democratic lawmakers until the full House chamber formally approves an impeachment inquiry against him, Axios reported.

By sending Pelosi the letter, Trump and the White House are aiming to force House Democrats in toss-up districts to take a formal stance on impeachment, Axios noted, adding that Republican sources say that even as the chamber’s minority party, GOP lawmakers can have a greater say in impeachment hearings and other parts of an inquiry once the full chamber formally approves it.

The letter to Pelosi and the chairmen of the six House committees participating in the inquiry was drafted as of Thursday night but had not been finalized or signed, according to Axios.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hill.

Webmaster's Commentary:

2020 is probably going to be one of the ugliest Presidential campaign years I can remember for a very long time; I turned 70 this last year, so that is a lot of Presidential campaigns.

You have a sitting Republican President, Donald Trump, generally matched against former Vice President Democrat Biden both of whom love to "run their mouths", sometimes, does a real disservice to the causes they allege to espouse.

To date, nothing can be found tying President Trump to any impeachable acts; but Biden HAD to shoot his mouth off at a CFR meeting last year, about how he was able to turn the Ukrainian Investigatory "heat" off of his son, Hunter.

Bragging about this in public, was perhaps, not the smartest thing Bident could have been doing, but, oh well... Biden is hardly admired for his intellectual capabilities.
FLASHBACK, 2018: Joe Biden Brags At CFR Meeting About Withholding Aid To Ukraine To Force Firing Of Prosecutor

Please be aware that Joe Biden did this as a sitting Vice President; this kind of international "arm twisting" is one big, fat, hairy "no no" for a sitting Vice President to do, so yes, there should be some reasonable, bi-partisan investigation which needs to be done here.

That President Trump had a call with current Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky (as a mutual pact with Ukraine made this both necessary, and critically important), is not an impeachable offense; the Democrats are trying desperately to turn it into something it is, and was not, illegal, on the part of a sitting President.

But Democrats are insisting that the bringing up of this issue now, is an attempt to destroy Biden's potential bid for the Presidency in 2020, and therefore counts as an impeachable offense.

An impeachable offense must follow the rules and definitions of National law as they pertain to such a charge; and thus far, the best I can see of it, the accusations raised against President Trump, do not meet the legal definition of a crime.

So I would like to strongly caution my Democratic brothers and sisters, that if you think you can win in 2020 by playing this horrifically losing hand,, and perhaps get Trump out of office before the end of his first term, you are most probably very sadly mistaken.

What you will do, if you continue to persist with this ploy, is insure that Trump's base will come out in force for his re-election, and the states you gained in the mid-terms, will again swing back to Republican Congressional control.

Russian military holds large-scale naval drills off Syrian coast

Pompous Pompeo is pontificating about Syria using gas again so Russia is practicing air defense, anti-submarine warfare and sea rescue. Interesting!

Exclusive: The FBI is running Facebook ads targeting Russians in Washington

The FBI is running ads on Facebook in the Washington DC area seemingly designed to target and recruit Russian spies as well as those who know about their work, CNN has learned.

Another shows a picture of a chess set, with Russian text that translates to, "Isn't it time for you to make your move?"

Webmaster's Commentary:

What a wonderful opportunity for the Russians to plant spies inside the FBI!

Solomon Hits Back With Receipts After MSM Denies DNC-Ukraine Collusion Attempt In 2016

While Democrats scramble to accuse President Trump of attempting to interfere with the 2020 US election by asking Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, the MSM has been hard at work trying to discredit proof that a DNC contractor begged Ukraine for 'dirt' on the Trump campaign in 2016.

You know, election meddling.

EXPLOSIVE REPORT: Rep. Adam Schiff Linked to Prominent Ukrainian Arms Dealer!

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff is connected to a Ukrainian arms dealer. Is this why he’s willing to lie in front of the nation when accusing President Trump of crimes?

Adam Schiff is arguably the biggest liar in Congress…. ever. He now leads the House Intelligence Committee and this past week oversaw the Intel Committee where he attempted to align President Trump with some ‘trumped’ up allegations concerning his phone call with the President of the Ukraine. Schiff lied in his opening remarks and claimed numerous falsehoods about the President’s call in spite of the transcript being provided the day before.

Source: State Department IG Has Been Sitting on ‘Urgent’ Ukraine Matter for 4 Months

The inspector general (IG) at the U.S. Department of State has requested to provide an “urgent” briefing related to Ukraine to congressional staffers on Wednesday afternoon on a matter that he was made aware of four months ago, Breitbart News has learned.
A Trump administration official told Breitbart News that Steve Linick, the IG at the State Department who began his tenure under former President Barack Obama in 2013, “has been sitting on the alleged ‘urgent’ matter for four months.”

Citing anonymous sources, ABC News first reported the upcoming IG briefing to staffers from various committees in the House and Senate, noting that it came at the behest of Linick.

Linick is expected to focus on “documents obtained from the department’s Office of the Legal Adviser related to the State Department and Ukraine,” ABC News reported.

Ex-Ukraine prosecutor said he was told to back off probe of Biden-linked firm, files show

The fired prosecutor at the center of the Ukraine controversy said during a private interview with President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani earlier this year that he was told to back off an investigation involving a natural gas firm that was linked to Joe Biden’s son, according to details of that interview that were handed over to Congress by the State Department’s inspector general Wednesday.

Fox News obtained a copy of Giuliani’s notes from his January 2019 interview with fired Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin in which he claimed that his “investigations stopped out of fear of the United States.”

‘Pssst… Don’t tell anyone, but we surely will’: Putin pokes fun at question of whether Russia plans to meddle in 2020 US election

It seems Vladimir Putin has become so tired of Russian meddling claims that he ‘secretly’ told an NBC journalist that Moscow will surely influence the 2020 US vote. The confession was made in front of a laughing audience though.

Autumn of 2020 – the time when the US will choose their president – is nearing and there is no dying down of Russiagate, it seems. So NBC’s Keir Simmons, who came to Moscow to moderate the Energy Week forum, tried to get some information on the everlasting issue.

“Is Russia as [special prosecutor] Robert Mueller alleged attempting to influence the 2020 election in the US?” Simmons, a UK journalist who works as a foreign correspondent for the US broadcaster, wondered.

Putin then covered the microphone with his hand and whispered : “I’ll tell you in secret: Yes, we’ll surely be doing this … to make all of you laugh out loud there.”

House Democrats Call in Fired US Ambassador to Testify – Corrupt Official Refused Visas to Ukrainians Who Had Dirt on Obama to Give to Trump

Ambassador Yovanovich is a noted Trump-hater who blocked Ukrainian officials from traveling to the United States to hand over evidence of Obama misconduct during the 2016 election to President Trump.

Yovanovich was US ambassador to Ukraine during the 2016 election when the Ukrainian government was colluding with the DNC and Hillary Campaign to undermine the US presidential election.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenkoko told journalists in March that Yovanovitch gave him a do not prosecute list during their first meeting.

Construction of US’s INF-Violating Missile Shield Site in Poland Almost Complete – Report

Moscow has repeatedly voiced concerns over the deployment of US missile defence system components in Poland and Romania, alleging that the MK-41 interceptor launchers could easily be used to fire offensive nuclear-tipped Tomahawk cruise missiles at targets inside Russia.

Construction of the Aegis Ashore facility in Redzikowo, northern Poland is nearing completion, with US Missile Defence Agency director Vice Adm. Jon Hill carrying out an inspection tour of the facility late last week, Defense Blog has reported.

Hill reportedly inspected multiple sites on the base, including the multipurpose and housing unit, galley, and the inside of the Aegis Ashore deckhouse structure, which contains the system’s command and control system.

Ukrainian Scandal: Trump Phone Call? How about Money Laundering by Clinton-Crime Capo Joe Biden

The Borderlands of the Ukraine have been a decisive battlefield for centuries. Here Stockholm, Berlin and Moscow vied for dominance. Karl XII had lost here to Peter the Great; Stalin defeated Hitler; now the Clintonites are likely to suffer in the Ukraine their ultimate defeat. The Democrats had made their biggest political mistake of the century in attacking Trump for the Biden affair — that is, if the Americans retain any common sense.

Vice-President Biden extorted millions of dollars in personal bribes from the vulnerable Ukrainian client state. When this sordid affair came under investigation, he blackmailed Ukrainians, using his position and American taxpayer money to force the sovereign state to fire its Attorney General for investigating the bribes.

PIERS MORGAN: If we swapped the name Hunter Biden for Donald Trump Jr, the Democrats and media would be going absolutely nuts - so it's time to start asking Joe Biden the key Ukraine questions he doesn't want to answer

I have a question about this Ukraine scandal.

It’s a simple question, but I think a relevant and important one given the current explosive cacophony of Impeachment noise erupting all around Washington.

And it’s a question that I know will provoke an instant new onslaught of hysteria from all sides.

Some will furiously accuse me of playing ‘whataboutery’ to try to distract attention from what they see as the real story.

Others will furiously applaud me for highlighting what THEY see as the real story.

The rest who read it will either be so furious they can’t express themselves at all due to all the foam spewing from their mouths - a common malady in these shrieking social media times – or they don’t care.

Sworn Statement of Ukraine Presecutor General Viktor Shokin That He Was Forced Out of Office by US VP Joe Biden

Here is total proof that it was the utterly corrupt Biden, a gangster that the crazed Democrats want to elect as President of the United States, who threatened the President of Ukraine, Poroshenko, and released one billion dollars to Poroshenko when he did Biden’s will and stopped the investigation of a firm in which Biden’s son had substantial interests.

It should scare every American that the presstitutes bury the real story and shrilly proclaim a false one. Our country, what little remains of it, is being stolen in front of our eyes.

These once-secret memos cast doubt on Joe Biden's Ukraine story

September 29, 2019 "Information Clearing House" - Former Vice President Joe Biden, now a 2020 Democratic presidential contender, has locked into a specific story about the controversy in Ukraine.

He insists that, in spring 2016, he strong-armed Ukraine to fire its chief prosecutor solely because Biden believed that official was corrupt and inept, not because the Ukrainian was investigating a natural gas company, Burisma Holdings, that hired Biden's son, Hunter, into a lucrative job.

There’s just one problem.

Hundreds of pages of never-released memos and documents — many from inside the American team helping Burisma to stave off its legal troubles — conflict with Biden’s narrative.

FLASHBACK - Hunter Biden’s new job at a Ukrainian gas company is a problem for U.S. soft power

Around the world, there is a major perception that U.S. foreign policy is dictated by a thirst for oil and gas. For example, a 2002 Pew Research poll found that 75 percent of French respondents felt that the United States-led invasion of Iraq was a simple ruse to gain control of Iraqi oil. And that isn't just what the "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" think either: Establishment figures in the United States such as Sen. John McCain and former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan have both made statements that suggest they buy into it, too.

Such a perception is probably an oversimplification, but there is clearly some truth to the idea. And whether it is true or not, perceptions clearly matter when it comes to international relations.

The Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Described How Joe Biden Fired Him for Refusing to Protect Corrupt Officials

The former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin said in an interview to the “Strana.ua” news agency why the former Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden, connected to lobbying business of the former Minister of Ecology Nikolay Zlochevsky, ordered the president Petro Poroshenko to dismiss him.

Shokin said that he was not going to “back away” from the “case of Burisma“, the company of Zlochevsky, the board of which Biden’s son joined soon after Euromaidan, the former president of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski and also Devon Archer (the close friend of the stepson of the US Secretary of State John Kerry). The work of board members was generously paid.

Hunter Biden's China dealings -- approved by Obama -- are drawing new scrutiny amid Joe Biden's run

Scrutiny of business deals by former Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s son Hunter now includes his joint venture with a Chinese government entity to buy a U.S. automotive technology company with potential military applications.

The ease with which the 2015 transaction was approved by the Obama administration alarmed Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who is looking into whether the Obama-Biden White House intervened in the process.

One of the companies in the 2015 deal was Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a billion-dollar investment fund backed by China that was formed by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz, the stepson of then-Secretary of State John Kerry.

The Untold Story of the Trump-Ukraine ‘Scandal’: The Routine Corruption of US Foreign Policy

The most crucial aspects of the Trump-Ukraine “scandal,” which has led to impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump, are not being told, even by Republicans.

Trump was very likely motivated by politics if he indeed withheld military aid to Ukraine in exchange for Kiev launching an investigation into Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden, though the transcript of the call released by the White House between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelinsky does not make certain such a quid-pro-quo.

But what’s not being talked about in the mainstream is the context of this story, which shows that, politics aside, Biden should indeed be investigated in both Ukraine and in the United States.
