BEX ALERT - Syria using crematorium to cover up mass hangings, US claims

The department has released satellite photographs of the military prison - and an image from January 2015 shows how snow had melted away from just one section of the building.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The snow melting could be because that section of the prison is the kitchen, or the laundry where the dryers put out lots of heat.

TO FIND OUT IF YOU ARE BEING LIED TO, LOOK FOR WHAT SHOULD BE THERE AND ISN'T!

Here are some images of historical crematoria.

Terrorist Confesses To Taking Part In Staged Chemical Weapons Attacks In Syria, Western Media Silent

By Brandon Turbeville

Before the dust settled on Khan Skeykhoun, the United States had used the alleged chemical attack that took place there as the justification for a launch of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the al-Sha’aryat airbase in Syria. Even as the missiles were heading toward their target, it was clear that something was not right with the official U.S. government story regarding the incident. In fact, when considering all the evidence, it was clear that the Syrian military had nothing to do with the actual attack. Even more so, there were even questions regarding whether or not the attack actually took place. Now...

STATE DEPARTMENT: RENAMED AL-QAEDA NOT A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION - CAN RECEIVE CIA SUPPLIES

Max Abrams, a professor who works about terrorism, came up with this new definition of "terrorism":

Nonstate actors who use violence against civilians for a political goal and haven't been supported by the US.
The highlighted part is "new" to those who have not learned from history and the many occasions of U.S. support for (typically extremely right-wing) terrorist organizations like the "contras" in Nicaragua, OUN fascists in Ukraine or Jihadi Mujahedin in Afghanistan. It can indeed be argued that the U.S. created al-Qaeda as well as the Islamic State (ISIS).

But lets just be happy that people get again reminded of the issue.

Prof. Adams remark came after a report by the Canadian CBC which found that the U.S. has not designated al-Qaeda's recently renamed organization in Syria as a "foreign terrorist entity".

Webmaster's Commentary:

US-led airstrike kills nearly two dozen civilians in Syria

Nearly two dozen civilians have lost their lives when the US-led coalition purportedly fighting the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group carried out an aerial attack against an area in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr near the border with Iraq, a monitoring group says.

MAJOR BEXALERT!!! : Syrian regime using crematorium to 'cover up' mass murders, State Department says

This is pathetic. The snow is melting so the building is a crematorium! Gotcha!

The Syrian regime is using a site outside Damascus to cremate the bodies of thousands of prisoners it has abducted, jailed and murdered during the country’s long-running civil war, the U.S. State Department alleged Monday.

Acting Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs Stuart Jones showed surveillance photos that -- combined with intelligence assessments and other reports -- officials believe show Bashar Assad’s government is complicit in covering up evidence of mass killings at the Sednaya Prison. Located near Damascus, the prison previously has been called a "human slaughterhouse" by Amnesty International.

Jones also charged that the “atrocities” were carried out “with unconditional support” from Russia and Iran.

The U.S. conclusion is based in part on photos that show snow melting near the building believed to be the crematorium.

ISIS Commanders Join "Moderate" Syrian Rebels

Once again confirming that there is no such thing as a "moderate" Syrian rebel (although there certainly is for State Department funding and arming purposes), on Friday, two prominent ISIS commanders have left the ranks of the calliphate to join forces with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters, i.e., "moderate rebels" on the provincial border between Homs and Deir Ezzor, al Masdar news reported.

Report: U.S., British Forces Enter Southern Syria Alongside Terrorists; Is A Bigger Battle Shaping Up?

By Brandon Turbeville

Days after reports that Damascus was on high alert due to increased U.S. troop levels on the Jordanian border and an apparent preparation for an invasion from the south and southeast, the United States and Britain have indeed pushed into Syria from the very location earlier reports suggested would be used.

Fighting alongside jihadist terrorist organization, Jaysh Mughawr al-Thurah, a subsidiary of the Free Syrian Army, U.S. and British forces were filmed traveling through the Tanf border crossing in Homs governate. The troops were apparently heading towards the Hamimah area...

Will Trump Agree to the Pentagon’s Permanent War in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria?

The two top national security officials in the Trump administration – Secretary of Defense James Mattis and national security adviser HR McMaster – are trying to secure long-term US ground and air combat roles in the three long-running wars in the greater Middle East – Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.

Proposals for each of the three countries are still being developed, and there is no consensus, even between Mattis and McMaster, on the details of the plans. They will be submitted to Trump separately, with the plan for Afghanistan coming sometime before a NATO summit in Brussels on 25 May.

But if this power play succeeds in one or more of the three, it could guarantee the extension of permanent US ground combat in the greater Middle East for many years to come – and would represent a culmination of the “generational war” first announced by the George W Bush administration.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF, in fact, President Trump signs off on these policies, look for a reinstitution of the draft in this country, sooner, rather than later, and a draft which includes both our young women, as well as our young men.

And yes, the word "permanent" applies, in all three countries, as it appears that the US military presence will never be leaving here.

The only "wild card" in the bunch is Syria, because of the both the Russian presence here, and their very clear determination that Damascus will not be regime changed.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – MAY 15, 2017: GOVT FORCES MAKE LARGE GAINS IN ALEPPO AND DAMASCUS

Pro-government forces, led by the Syrian Army Tiger Forces, have made significant progress against ISIS in the province of Aleppo. Last weekend, government troops liberated the Jirah Military Airbase after few days of clashes with ISIS terrorists. ISIS attempted to counter attack at the military airbase and near Jirah Saghir village but failed to achieve its goals. The Syrian Army reportedly lost a T-55 battle tank, a BMP-1 armoured vehicle and a technical armed with a 23mm gun in these clashes.

The military airbase was the last major ISIS stronghold on the way to the important ISIS-held town of Maskaneh that will likely become the next target of the government advance in the province of Aleppo. Advancing through Maskaneh, government troops would reach an area controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Tabqah countryside in the province of Raqqah. This will also allow to secure a large chunk of the Ithriyah-Aleppo road.

CENTCOM BREAKS "FREE PASSAGE" DEAL - ITS ALLIES WILL HAVE TO BLEED FOR THIS

On Friday the U.S. "Inherent Resolve" command of its operations in Syria and Iraq released an statement that points to unnecessary intensified fighting about the city of Raqqa and elsewhere.

The Syrian Arab Coalition and their Syrian Democratic Force partners completed the liberation of the Tabqah Dam, as well as the city of Tabqah and its nearby airfield May 10.

The Kurdish forces obviously made a deal with the ISIS rearguard. They offered free passage (safe conduct) to the ISIS fighters if those would dismantled their demolition charges on the Tabqa dam and leave their heavy weapons behind. The ISIS group accepted and fulfilled its part of the deal. The dam was saved. The ISIS forces withdrew.

The Kurdish commander had made the right decision. Any fighting around, on or within the dam structure could have led to a catastrophic dam failure which would have killed ten-thousands (at least) further down the Euphrates.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So what we have here is catch and release, make a deal, then kill later?!?

Turkish PM: US Promises Kurds Won’t Stay in Raqqa

Speaking to reporters today during an official visit to London, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim says that the United States has assured Turkey that even though the Kurdish YPG is being used to invade ISIS’ capital city of Raqqa, they will not keep control of the city after the battle.

These assurances appear to have been made to try to placate Turkish outrage over US plans to arm the YPG with heavy weapons for the Raqqa battle, and for the US choosing to back the YPG in the offensive against ISIS in general, something Turkey has repeatedly condemned.

Kurdish officials have never said anything about conquering Raqqa for somebody else, and it would be unusual for the group to be willing to commit so heavy to the invasion of a city if they didn’t have designs on incorporating it into their self-declared autonomous region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why would the Kurds be fighting at all, if not for an independent Kurdistan?!?

The US government and military need to be very clear as to their ultimate intentions here; otherwise, they may well find Turkey leaving NATO, and leaving them with a vast hole in their garrisoning of the Middle East.

SYRIA - "THE REGIME WILL BE THERE" - U.S. CONCEDES RAQQA ... AND THE SYRIAN EAST?

A new Wall Street Journal piece, primarily about the ISIS held city of Raqqa on the Euphrates, casts doubt on long term U.S. plans for such an occupation. Its core quote:

"We won’t be in Raqqa in 2020, but the regime will be there."

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF, in fact, this article is correct, there are reasons to be hopeful about the ultimate outcome in Syria.

If it is not, we are looking at a direct military conflict in Syria with Russia, and that would be horrific.

THE DECADE-LONG U.S. CAMPAIGN TO FOMENT SYRIA’S “REVOLUTION” AND UNSEAT ASSAD

Though many trace the beginning of the ongoing conflict in Syria back to the Arab Spring protests of 2011, the seeds of war were sown as early as 2001, when the U.S. decided to declare Syria an enemy. The events that followed would send the country into a violent downward spiral.

US Fighter Pilots Set to Fly Israeli Skies in Joint Air Force Drills

The US Army has confirmed that Israeli and US pilots will be engaging joint drills this week at Uvda Air Force Base near the Israeli city of Eliat. Aircrews will be trained in a number of exercises at the base’s advance facilities while other squadrons train in the Negev Desert.

While the role of enemy aircraft will be played by the Israel Defense Forces' "Flying Dragon" or "Red" Squadron, based at Uvda, teams will operate “enemy” missile launchers and radars and infantry troops will be acting as terrorists, according to the Jerusalem Post. Haaretz reported that a number of F-15 fighters have already been sent over by the US; the "Flying Dragon" squad flies F-16 jets.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder here who the potential "targets" are supposed to be; but right now, were I a betting person, I would bet either Iran or Syria, or perhaps both.

But the problem here, stretched out on the Bosendorfer, and napping for the moment, is the 6,000 LB gorilla in the living room, and that is the presence of Russia in Syria, and Russia's oft-stated promise to assist Iran militarily, should a foreign government attempt to invade it.

War with Russia over Syria and/or Iran?!?

That those collectively in the bowels of power in both the Unhinged State of America, and Tel Aviv, should even be "thinking" in this direction is collective, hubristic madness.

President Assad Rules Out Making Concessions on Syria's Sovereignty

Syrian President Bashar Assad said Thursday he would not make concessions on sovereignty, independence and national interests of his country, in an interview with BELARUS’ ONT channel.

"All the things related to sovereignty, national interests, the constitution, and independence are not the prerogative of the president and he cannot make concessions regarding them. I make concessions on personal issues which are of no importance to the people, the crisis, and they are not required of me anyway," Assad said as translated and quoted by state SANA news agency.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well then so much for an independent Kurdistan, unless he is driven out of office, and Damascus is "regime changed"; but I can guarantee you, if the US and coalition forces try this, they will be be fighting Russia in Syria.

And the US military doesn't have the money; the manufacturing; the weaponry, or the troop strength to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia, and that is why this entire approach is dicey as heck.

U.S. New “Plan B” for Syria: Military Escalation

According to the Pentagon, it isn’t necessary to tarnish Syrian President, Bashar Assad, for the U.S.-led coalition’s large-scale invasion to Syria. It is enough to make ISIS cross the Jordanian border. Such a scenario was discussed by Assad at the end of April this year.

This time Washington decided to rely on the Free Syrian Army (FSA), that began an offensive against ISIS in Syria’s Daraa, located about 13 kilometers north of the border with Jordan, on May 9, 2017. Apparently, according to the coalition command, the FSA will force the Islamists to leave their positions and cross the Jordanian border.

In its turn, this could be an ideal pretext for the coalition’s immediate ‘defense’ of its ally. So, according to our sources, more than 400 units of US military equipment and more than 4,000 soldiers have already been deployed along the border between Syria and Jordan. This fact indicates the ongoing preparation for the operation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am getting a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, that this "exercise" is simply a cover for a planned invasion of Syria, to be set up by the use of a false flag.

And if, in fact, the US military does this, how, please, does the Pentagon and White House believe Russia is going to react?!?

I can absolutely assure you; President Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, and Sergei Lavrov, will NOT be holding hands, and singing "Kumbyah", should such a situation develop.

Retired General: Jordan Won’t Support Ground Invasion of Syria

A new round of joint military exercises has fueled considerable speculation among Jordanians that their government may be about to participate in a surprise US invasion of Syria. The speculation was growing to the point Syria issued a statement yesterday warning them against doing so.

Those familiar with the situation say it’s likely an idle rumor, however, with retired Gen. Mousa al-Odwan, a former special forces commander, saying he doesn’t believe the Jordanian government would offer direct military support in the event of any ground invasion of Syria.

Jordanian political analysts appeared to agree with this assessment, saying their nation’s military is in no position to get into a protracted involvement in a ground war in Syria, and that doing so would have “dire consequences” for the nation’s military and its stability.

While Jordan isn’t on good terms with Syria, their official stance is that the Syrian Civil War should be resolved peacefully.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would certainly like to hope that General Mousa al-Odwan's assessment of the situation is correct.

No, the “New” CNN Video of the Chemical Incident Does NOT Prove that the Syrian Government Did It

I agree that the footage is harrowing. However none of it is new and none of it proves that the Syrian government was the perpetrator of a nerve agent attack.

As such, this article merely falls into the category of propaganda.

The kindest alternative description of the article is that it might instead be yet another example of bad reporting that mixes ill-considered assumptions with facts that may or may not be relevant to its conclusions.

This kind of reporting could actually be encouraging such attacks.

If there was a false flag nerve agent attack, this tells the perpetrators that when they engage in the murder of children they can build a stronger false case against the Syrian government and thereby increase their chances of creating political pressure on the US Government to intervene militarily on their behalf.

Syria says up to 5,000 Chinese Uighurs fighting in militant groups

Up to 5,000 ethnic Uighurs from China’s violence-prone far western region of Xinjiang are fighting in various militant groups in Syria, the Syrian ambassador to China said on Monday, adding that Beijing should be extremely concerned about it. China is worried that Uighurs, a mostly Muslim people who speak a Turkic language, have gone to Syria and Iraq to fight for militants there, having travelled illegally via Southeast Asia and Turkey.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the killing of a Chinese hostage in 2015, highlighting China’s concern about Uighurs it says are fighting in the Middle East. Hundreds of people have been killed in Xinjiang in the past few years, most in unrest between Uighurs and ethnic majority Han Chinese. The government blames the unrest on militants who want a separate state called East Turkestan.

Arming the Kurds: Trump’s Syrian Gambit

President Trump’s decision to provide weapons to the Syrian Kurds, who are fighting Isis, potentially marks a crucial change in the political geography of the Middle East. In effect, the US is choosing to support its Kurdish ally in Syria, in defiance of Turkey, whose aim is to prevent the establishment of a quasi-independent Kurdish state there.

Mr Trump approved a plan on Monday to arm the Kurds directly, in order to enable the People’s Mobilisation Units (YPG) Kurdish militia and its Arab allies to assault and capture Raqqa, the de facto capital of Isis in Syria. The US will send heavy machine guns, anti-tank weapons, mortars, armoured cars and engineering equipment to bolster the attack.

The Astana Process: A Possible Solution to An Impossible Situation in Syria

This past Thursday, a three-page memorandum was signed in Astana, Kazakstan calling for the creation of four “De-escalation Zones” in Syria. This latest proposed peace deal is the latest product of the Astana Process chaired by three nations, Russia, Iran and Turkey, an effort designed to support the previous UN Security Council Resolution 2254.

This document is controversial to say the least, because it calls for the establishment of “islands of safety,” which are analogous to Washington’s previously called for ‘Safe Zones.’ These four zones include the northwestern province of Idlib, the Al-Rastan Plain just north of the city of Homs, the area of Eastern Ghouta near Damascus, and areas in the Daraa’a and Al Quneitra governorates of southern Syria.

WEAPONS TO HELP YPG FIGHTERS IN RAQQA OFFENSIVE, NO TIMELINE DISCLOSED FOR START OF SUPPLYING ARMS

Turkey's 'sultan for life' Erdogan will not be happy. NBC News is reporting that two US defense officials have confirmed President Trump has approved a plan to arm the Syrian Kurdish militia - an important U.S. ally in Syria in the fight against ISIS.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please; re-drawing the maps in the Middle East to your liking may well have consequences you and your team may not have considered, and may well not be of your liking.

Your pretext here is having the Kurds fighting ISIS/ISIL, but it is a completely false premise.

ISIL/ISIS was a deliberate creation by the US government to prevent the Syrian government from continuing, and supposedly create regime change in Damascus.

Michael Flynn: The Rise of the “Islamic State” (ISIL) Was “A Willful Decision” of the Obama White House: Former DIA Chief

The creating of an Independent Kurdistan, to be cobbled together from territory currently claimed, respectively, by Turkey and Syria, will cost a great deal, in blood and money, and neither country is willing to give the territory up for the creation of such a country.

Al-Assad will either have to be assassinated, or regime changed by a vote; and Turkey's Erdogan may well pull Turkey out of NATO, which would put the alliance at great strategic discomfort.

And lastly, Mr. President, Russia's Putin will not stand idly by when the US and Kurdish forces attempt to carve up sovereign Syrian territory; this arming of the Syrian Kurdish militia in Syria will be seen as a definite attempt at Syrian destabilisation, and tantamount to an act of war it.

Authenticity of ISIS video showing execution of ‘Russian agent’ denied by MoD

The terrorist group released the 12-minute-long video through its media outlet, Furat Media, on Tuesday May 9, which is celebrated in Russia as the day of victory over Nazi Germany. According to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors online jihadi activity, it shows a man dressed in a black jumpsuit kneeling in a desert while urging other Russian agents to surrender before being beheaded by a bearded man in combat fatigues. The video also shows footage of what it claims to be the aftermath of Russian bombing raids.

The authenticity of the video has not been verified, and the Russian Ministry of Defense has denied reports that one of its servicemen has been killed.

US Says We Fly Where We Want in Syria

Washington, Pentagon. The US has responded to Russia’s creation of “no fly zones” in Syria by indicating the US will fly “wherever it wants” and “whenever it pleases” according to Pentagon spokespersons.

The Coalition forces headed by the US will strike at the Islamic State anywhere in Syria, including in the security zones established by Russia, Turkey and Iran, In Russian news agency reports citing a Pentagon representative.

Earlier, Russia, Turkey and Iran signed a memorandum on the establishment of security zones in Syria. According to the memorandum, check points and observation centers will be established along the borders of these security zones. The zones exclude aircraft from hostile action.

When answering the question whether the Coalition will stop the flights over these security zones, the Pentagon official said that the Coalition will carry on with its operations as usual, with no regard for Russia’s plans to end air strikes in the region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, it sure as heck didn't take that long for Sec Def Mattis to come to his conclusions about flying through these security zones; which means that pilots flying through these regions risk getting shot down by Russian and Syrian ground forces or aircraft.

I am profoundly uncomfortable with the Pentagon making potential sacrificial lambs out of these pilots.

Is the US Preparing A Ground Invasion of Syria? Drones Spot Hundreds of US, Jordanian Armored Vehicles at Border

The US and Jordanian militaries may be prepping a massive invasion of Syria, intelligence reports gathered from surveillance drones suggest.

Damascus is reportedly on high alert after some 400 American and Jordanian military vehicles were located at a Jordanian military base near the Syrian desert border earlier today.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Syria rejects international forces in safe zones

Syria on Monday dismissed the idea of foreign forces patrolling four so-called de-escalation zones that are to be established under a deal struck by Russia, Iran and Turkey, suggesting Damascus would agree only to Russian "military police" who are already on the ground.

Syria planned to abide by the agreement signed in Kazakhstan last week, Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem told reporters in the Syrian capital, but he cautioned it was "premature" to say whether the deal would succeed.

"There will be no presence by any international forces supervised by the United Nations," al-Moallem said. "The Russian guarantor has clarified that there will be military police and observation centers."

Though he did not specify who the military police would be, he appeared to be referring to Russian observers already in Syria.

The battles between Syrian government forces (red) and the foreign supported "rebels" (yellow) has ebbed in the north, in Idleb and north Hama, in the south round Deraa, around the besieged "rebel" enclaves north of Homs and east of Damascus in east-Ghouta. That does not mean that those areas are peaceful or safe. In the north Turkey is scrimishing with U.S. supported Kurds (purple), in Deraa governate ISIS is infighting with other Jihadi "rebels" and in east-Ghouta various "rebel" groups are trying to eliminate each other.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this can hold, it ultimately means victory for the Syria government, which is not the outcome those in the bowels of power in the Unhinged States of America want to see happen.

However, that being said, I wouldn't bet against an ultimately large contingent of American-backed rebels sticking a monkey wrench in the works on this soon.

al-Qaeda Leader Praises White Helmets As “Hidden Soldiers Of The Revolution”

By Brandon Turbeville

As hard as the Western corporate media works to employ propaganda techniques and tragic narratives with which to convince their respective populations that the terrorists funded by Western governments fight against the Syrian government are actually democracy-loving freedom fighters and selfless activists, more and more revelations come to light showing the true nature of heavily hyped groups like the White Helmets...

US reviews Syria de-escalation zones but warns ‘devil’s in the details’

US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis said on Monday the United States would closely examine proposed de-escalation zones aimed at easing Syria’s civil war but warned “the devil’s in the details” and that much needed to be worked out.

The deal to create “de-escalation” zones in the major areas of conflict in western Syria took effect on Saturday.

The initiative was proposed by Russia, President Bashar al-Assad’s most powerful ally, with the support of Turkey, which backs the opposition. Iran, Assad’s other major ally, also backed it.

Political and armed opposition groups have rejected the proposal, saying Russia has been unwilling or unable to get Assad and his Iranian-backed militia allies to respect past ceasefires.

US ex-intelligence chief on ISIS rise: It was 'a willful Washington decision'

The US didn’t interfere with the rise of anti-government jihadist groups in Syria that finally degenerated into Islamic State, claims the former head of America’s Defense Intelligence Agency, backing a secret 2012 memo predicting their rise.

An interview with retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), given to Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan, confirms earlier suspicions that Washington was monitoring jihadist groups emerging as opposition in Syria.

March On: Washington May Be Pushing Syrian Kurds' Plan to Extend Territory

Kurdish leaders are pushing for US support for a plan to extend their territory across Syria to the Mediterranean Sea, in order to create a trade route and bolster Kurdish enclaves in the North. The move may run into stiff local opposition.

In a mainstream media interview, Hediya Yousef, head of the Kurdish federalism project, said the Syrian Kurds wanted more territory in the North, in return for helping the US retake Raqqa from Daesh. He claimed the Kurds had a "legal right" to create a trade corridor to the Mediterranean.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Has anyone been discussing this with either the Turkish or Syrian government?!? Neither is going to be too pleased, in light of the establishment of a US-backed, independent Kurdistan.

Kurds eye one-third of Syria with US support: Report

A Kurdish official has revealed plans to enlarge the territory held by Kurds in northern Syria with US support, under which the Daesh stronghold of Raqqah would be annexed to the self-proclaimed Rojava region.

The scheme includes linking the self-proclaimed territory to the Mediterranean Sea, the person in charge of the project Hediya Yousef told British daily The Observer in an interview on Saturday.

“Arriving at the Mediterranean Sea is in our project for northern Syria, it’s a legal right for us to reach the Mediterranean,” Yousef said.

European country is working with al-Jazeera to film false flag chemical attack in Syria. Why?

Option A: An unnamed European country has doubts about the western media Idlib, Syria chemical weapons spin, and wants to see if the White Helmets really can put together a false flag production. Short answer, of course the White Helmets can, and they do these false flag films often.

Option B: This is some sort of dry run for an upcoming EU/US/Saudi sponsored false flag strike against Assad. The fourth round of international talks on Syria kicked off in Astana on Wednesday…which is always a precursor to the deep state and Saudi Arabia running a false flag incident to derail any chance for peace in Syria.

The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center announced that over the past week, specialist cameramen working for Al Jazeera Channel carried out staged filming of alleged shelling and air raids against civilians in Idleb Countryside by the Syrian Arab army using poisonous substances.

The Center was quoted by Sputnik Agency as saying in a statement “According to information from a number of sources among local residents and opposition formations … special ‘video brigades’ carried out staged filming in the past week of alleged consequences of shelling and airstrikes, including with the use of ‘poisonous substances’.”
The center added that some of the “consultants” of the brigades were “recognized by the locals as cameramen shooting news in the region for the Al Jazeera channel,” the center added.

REPEAT: Al-Jazeera Said To Film False Flag Chemical Attack Against Syrian Civilians

US Dismisses Ban on Aircraft Over Syrian Safe Zones

A day after the US gave tepid support for the establishment of Syrian safe zones to try to separate combatant forces and reduce the amount of fighting, they appear to have noticed that this might get in their way of their own attacks across the country, and are pledging to ignore the demilitarization of the zones.

Back when Turkey and the US were both super keen on the idea of safe zones, a big selling point was the imposition of no-fly zones over the areas, to keep the civilians within getting bombed. This was also a big obstacle, as the US wasn’t totally clear it could do this without declaring war on Russia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't know what, precisely, the Vegas odds of the US government getting into direct military confrontation with Russia over Syria might be, but I would imagine, right now, that they are quite good.

RUSSIA DEPLOYS CRUISE MISSILE FRIGATE TO MEDITERRANEAN

Russia’s newest cruise-missile warship is on course to join Moscow’s naval forces off the Mediterranean coast of Syria, Russian news agency Interfax reported Friday.

The Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the frigate, which has been at the navy’s disposal for less than a year, will join Russia’s Mediterranean naval forces while on its way from its previous area of deployment, the Baltic Sea, to its home port in the Black Sea.

Russia has no Mediterranean fleet unit and during the civil war in its ally Syria, has periodically sent ships from either its Black Sea or Baltic Sea bases in the waters nearby. Russian President Vladimir Putin oversaw the formation of such a unit of up to 10 ships in 2013 that has relied on rotational deployments, supported by Russia’s Syrian port in Tartus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This deployment is meant to serve as a signal to the US military to get out of Syria; unfortunately, it is deliberately not being heard by the Trump Administration. And on Friday also, we had the following development happen:

Pentagon Deploys Troops to Turkey's Border With Syria

How many more US ground troops are actually in Syria, we will never know, because US military deployments are no longer allowed to be released to the general public.

But there is something I do know, in terms of the geopolitical tensions between the US and Russia regarding Syria; something wicked this way comes.

It is only a matter of time before there is direct conflict between US and Russian forces in Syria, and there appears to be no way to ultimately prevent that from happening, since war against both Russia and China appear to be a long-planned goal of the US government, in order to maintain the dollar's world hegemony.

The people who will get killed, or maimed for life, globally, by such a war, are irrelevant to those slavishly supporting the money junkies to that end.

Please remember; in the USA, your votes mean nothing, and you are of no use, unless you are one of the richest portions of America's demographic; and those people have marvelously stylish, well-provisioned shelters in which to ride out the apocalypse.

The Deep American State, and its very martial agenda, continues, no matter how you voted.

Safe Zones To Be Implemented In Syria At Midnight

By Brandon Turbeville

It has finally happened. Safe zones are now being implemented in Syria. A Victory for Theresa May Will See Britain Dragged Further Towards War with Russia

The demonisation of Putin and Russia

Since Russia intervened at the behest of the Syrian government, the Syrian conflict has swung away from the opposition (terrorist) groups which the US has been supporting to defeat Assad, an ‘unspoken truth’ in the mainstream media (see ‘The Dirty War on Syria‘). However, the US seems increasingly desperate to intensify its military intervention to bring its plan for Syria and the wider Middle East region to fruition. This does not just mean attacking Syrian government forces. It also involves putting pressure on Russia to step aside.

Last month, Russian President Vladimir Putin was told by the UK ambassador to the United Nations Matthew Rycroft that he is on the “wrong side of history” because of his support for the “barbaric” Syrian leader Bashar Assad. Rycroft added that supporting the Assad regime would result in “shame” and “humiliation” for Russia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"US and NATO being civilising forces in a barbaric world?!?"

What British "Ministry of Truth" intern cobbled THAT bit of codswallop together for Rycroft, I have to wonder?!?

The truth is the polar opposite of this statement, and all one has to do at look, objectively at the US-government generated carnage in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Syria to understand this.

the hard reality here is, US and UK are utterly NOT on the right side of history, to look at attempting to regime change Damascus; and I shudder to think of just what Russia will do, when that attempt is made, because Russia is in Syria at the behest of the Syrian government.

U.S. AND TURKEY ON COLLISION COURSE OVER KURDISH FORCES IN SYRIA

A top adviser for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ilnur Cevik, warned on May 3 that United States troops and equipment risk being destroyed due to their proximity to Kurdish forces in Northern Syria.

Turkey claims those fighters are aligned with the Kurdish militant group the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been waging a guerrilla war in Turkey for years.

In a radio interview on Turkish media, Cevik was asked what would happen to U.S. forces that were working with Kurdish forces that Turkey wants to attack.

“It doesn’t matter whether they are patrolling there. If those PKK terrorists continue their activities within Turkey…you know they are infiltrating from Northern Syria (into Turkey.) That’s the region they infiltrate from,” Cevik replied.

Breaking. Russia Setting Up Military Installations in Northeastern Syria, in YPG-Held Area

A number of Russian troops and vehicles have entered the area of the Afrin Canton controlled by fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), according to photos and videos appearing online.

Pro-Kurdish media activists speculate that the Russian military is going to set up a military base or even a “joint military base” in the YPG-held area near the border with Turkey.

According to more neutral sources, Russian military servicemen are setting up two posts near the border in order to monitor possible clashes between Kurdish militias and the Turkish military.

This comes amid increasing US military activity along the Syrian-Turkish border. According to Kurdish sources in northeastern Syria, US troops have been patrolling the Kurdish-held areas bordering Turkey. Thus, US troops are a buffer force that should prevent Ankara from combating Kurdish militias in Syria.

Chris Tomson of Al Masdar News headlined on Monday May 1st, “Syrian Army tank takes direct hit from ISIS guided missile in Deir Ezzor” and reported that, “Currently, government forces are less than 1500 meters from linking up Deir Ezzor city to its airbase,” which would be an essential link-up in order for the Syrian government to begin to restore control over the largest city in eastern Syria. Here will be the account of how U.S. President Barack Obama handed that city over to ISIS by means of two key actions, so as to weaken Assad’s government.

Tomahawk missile strike on Syria was ‘after-dinner entertainment’ – US commerce secretary

Wilbur Ross is the guy who bailed Trump out in the early 90's with Rothschild money. Sounds like a real sicko IMHO!

The 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles the US launched against Syria last month was just “after-dinner entertainment,” which “did not cost the president anything,” the US commerce secretary said, while President Trump called the attack a “tough decision.”

While the estimated cost of the strike ranged from roughly $60 million to $100 million depending on which Tomahawk missile modification was used, Ross stated that it “didn’t cost the president anything to have that entertainment.”

Photos From Syria Show White Helmets And Nusra/Qaeda Are The Same Organization

By Brandon Turbeville

Unlike journalists associated with the Western corporate media, Vanessa Beeley has been reporting from inside Syria on and off since early 2016. In many cases, while the Western corporate press was reporting in the most authoritative manner about the alleged “crimes against humanity” committed by the Syrian government in Aleppo despite having no one on the ground in those areas, Beeley was indeed present and able to directly contradict the lies spread by the corporate press with her own firsthand accounts.

Likewise, Beeley has led the charge against the ridiculous propaganda outfit known as the White Helmets...

Al-Qaeda says fighting alongside US-, Saudi-backed militia in Yemen

The leader of al-Qaeda's branch in Yemen says his forces have often fought alongside US- and Saudi-backed militia and supporters of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi against the Yemeni army and the popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.

Qasim al-Rimi, the ringleader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), made the remarks to the terrorist group's media arm al-Malahem from an undisclosed location in war-torn Yemen on Sunday, adding that his militants had teamed up with an array of other "factions," including Salafist groups and the "Muslim Brotherhood," who are both key militias on Hadi's side.

The AQAP is perceived as the most active branch of the al-Qaeda terrorist group and has been considered by the Pentagon as the most dangerous offshoot of the global terror network. Washington has already offered a $5 million prize for al-Rimi's capture.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So please give me a moment to wrap my head around this; the US government has a bounty on this guy's head, yet element of US troops are fighting with his troops in Yemen?!?

This is nothing short of bizzare!!

US Repeating Same War Crime in Syria that Starved 500,000 Children to Death in Iraq

While the sanctions placed on Iraq by the United Nations Security Council in the 1990s may be a distant memory for some, it’s critical to remember the shameful aftermath as the Trump administration undertakes the sanctioning of certain specific individuals in Syria. No matter the position one might take on the issue of sanctions, the fact remains that they caused a decade of tremendous suffering and widespread deaths of Iraqi civilians, many of them children.

White Helmets Preparing Another False-Flag Operation Similar to Idlib's Chemical Incident

The White Helmets Organization is getting ready to write another fake scenario similar to the one they practiced in the town of Kahn Sheikhoun earlier this month, local sources said Sunday.
The sources reported that several White Helmets along with a number of civilians, including children, have arrived in Ariha in Idlib province.

The sources said that the White Helmets are in Ariha to possibly conduct another false-flag operation similar to Khan Sheikhoun chemical incident to create a fresh wave of accusations against the Syrian government's involvement in a chemical attack on civilians.

Debunking Trump’s Casus Belli

Recently, with the cruise missile attacks on a Syrian airfield, there has been a considerable loosening of the normal restraints that employees exercise regarding their duties. Even more than the invasion of Iraq, which was viewed skeptically by many in the community, the decision by President Trump to retaliate with force against Damascus has been met with dismay among many of those closest to the action in the Middle East.

Many officers have expressed frustration and anger over what has taken place—not to challenge national-security policy, which they leave up to the politicians, but because they are perceiving a tissue of lies, as in Iraq. They have expressed their concerns in very specific ways to former fellow officers and friends. For the first time, people on the inside of the process are really talking. And we have been listening, astonished at the level of anger.

Tensions Grow Between US, Turkey Along Syrian Border

The US responded to last week’s Turkish attacks on allied Kurdish forces in both Iraq and Syria by deploying a growing number of US troops in armored vehicles along the Syria-Turkey border, aiming to provide some sort of buffer and to prevent more Turkish attacks.

It doesn’t seem to be working, and if anything, tensions are now growing between the Turkish government and the US, with Turkish officials unhappy that the US is getting in their way, and seeing it as amounting to the US taking the side of the Kurds against them.

Turkish President Erdogan insisted he was “deeply saddened” to see the US flag flying alongside “terrorists” from the Kurdish YPG, saying he intends to demand President Trump stop supporting the Kurds in an upcoming White House visit, adding “this needs to be stopped right now.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question now becomes, just how far is the US government prepared to go, in preventing Turkey from interfering in the creating of an independent Kurdistan?!?

The Flawed Chemical Analysis in the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 Alleging a Syrian Government Sarin Nerve Agent Attack in Khan Sheikhoun of April 4, 2017

In this short note I describe why the chemical forensic analysis and logic described in the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 (FIR) could lead to a high confidence conclusion that an indigenous nerve agent attack in Denver, Colorado was perpetrated by the Syrian government.

Such an obviously flawed investigative finding would be a product of the same combination of irrational arguments and unsound scientific evidence that the FIR used as its basis to reach a conclusion that the Syrian government must have executed in nerve agent attack on April 4, 2017 in Khan Sheikhoun.

US-led air strikes on ISIS have killed 352 civilians, says the Pentagon as it admits 'regret' - but critics claim the number is at least THREE THOUSAND

At least 352 civilians have been killed in US-led strikes against ISIS targets in Iraq and Syria since 2014, the Pentagon said on Sunday.

The Combined Joint Task Force said they were still assessing 42 reports of civilian deaths in their monthly assessment of air attacks targeting the jihadists.

Senior officials added that 45 civilians were killed between November 2016 and March 2017.

It reported 80 civilian deaths from August 2014 to the present that had not previously been announced. The report included 26 deaths from three separate strikes in March.

But monitoring group Airwars said more than 3,000 civilians have been killed by coalition air strikes.

US REPEATING SAME WAR CRIME IN SYRIA THAT STARVED 500,000 CHILDREN TO DEATH IN IRAQ

The Associated Press states that “any property or interest in property of the individuals’ sanctioned must be blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from dealing with them.” Also according to AP, “Three U.S. officials said that the sanctions are part of a broader effort to cut off funding and other support to Syria’s President Bashar Assad and his government amid the country’s escalating civil war. The U.S. blames Assad for a recent chemical attack on Syrian civilians, and responded earlier this month by launching missiles against a Syrian airfield.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

US Deploys Troops in NE Syria as ‘Buffer’ Between Kurds, Turkey

The US has deployed a number of special forces troops and armored vehicles along the border between Kurdish-held northeast Syria and Turkey, with most of the troops sent to the area around Darbasiya, which was the site of heavy Turkish attacks earlier this week.

Officially, US commanders say the troops are there “monitoring the situation,” though Syrian Kurds say that in practice the US deployment is an attempt to establish a “buffer” to try to limit fighting between the two sides,, which has been raging since Turkey’s airstrikes were carried out.

From Turkey’s perspective, there are two trains of thought on their recent push to attack the Kurdish YPG, who they consider “terrorists.” On the one hand, there seems to be some hope that if they can displace the Kurds enough during the buildup to the invasion of the ISIS capital of Raqqa, the US might agree to change it to a joint US-Turkey operation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think we will continue to see more US troops in Syria, as regime change is definitely back on the table here, in the thinking of the American deep state.

In early April, ship so called “Marianne Danica” arrived the biggest port of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah under the flag of Denmark, after it left the port of Burgas on March 28th, loaded with tons of weapons.

According to the newspaper, the ship was listed as transporting dangerous cargo – “Hazard A” (Major), which refers to the transport of explosives and weapons. After 8 hours dangerous cargo is unloaded at the port of Jeddah and the ship sails back to Bourgas. The weapons were not intended for Saudi Arabia, as Saudi army are only equipped almost exclusively with US and UK weaponry.

TRUMP IS PUPPET OF US ‘DEEP STATE,’ HAS NO ‘OWN’ FOREIGN POLICY – ASSAD

US president Donald Trump is not a truly independent political leader but merely a puppet of US corporations, military and intelligence, and who serves their interests, Syrian President Bashar Assad has told the Latin American TeleSUR TV network.
Trump pursues “no own policies” but only executes the decisions made by the “intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, the big arms manufacturers, oil companies, and financial institutions,” the Syrian leader said in an exclusive interview with TeleSUR.

"As we have seen in the past few weeks, he changed his rhetoric completely and subjected himself to the terms of the deep American state, or the deep American regime," Assad added.

New spin of North Korea-Syria ‘axis of evil’ points to US war

US media reports this week blamed North Korea for having a dastardly role in an alleged chemical weapons massacre in Syria. As if the two countries could not be demonized enough. The latest spin of the “axis of evil” suggests Washington is hell-bent on war.
Demonize, dehumanize, destroy. That’s the logic being throttled by the Trump administration toward both North Korea and Syria. This week war hawk US Senator Lyndsey Graham after a dinner with President Trump referred to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as a “nutjob,” while Trump earlier labeled Syrian leader Bashar Assad an “animal.”

Now the two “evil dictators” are bonded in US media reports for complicity in the alleged chemical weapons attack earlier this month in Syria’s Idlib Province, where it is claimed Assad’s armed forces dropped toxic munitions on civilians, killing up to 80.

The supplier of the alleged chemical weapons in Syria is the “Kim Jong-un regime” in North Korea, according to US reports.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 28, 2017: GOVT FORCES ADVANCE ON MULTIPLE FRONTS

Clashes resumed in Al-Qaboun district in eastern Damascus as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) capture more points from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies. The SAA detected a tunnel connecting many positions of the militants inside the district and destroyed it. Ahrar al-Sham claimed that its members had hit two SAA tanks in Al-Qaboun district.

Pro-militant sources say that opposition forces are in a critical situation in the area after government troops cut off supply lines operated by militants in the area. HTS-led forces suffer from shortages of ammunition and food.

Earlier this week, the SAA launched an operation against ISIS to in the Damascus desert east of the Syrian capital. So far, the SAA has advanced towards the Al-Sham desert around the Tishreen electricity station capturing some 6 kilometers. Pro-government sources report heavy losses among ISIS members.

The French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 Contradicts the Allegations in the White House Intelligence Report of April 11, 2017 by Dr. Theodore Postol

Attached below are data derived from the French Intelligence Report published yesterday on April 26, 2017. A reading of the report instantaneously indicates that the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 directly contradicts the White House Intelligence Report of April 11, 2017. The discrepancies between these two reports essentially result in two completely different narratives alleging nerve agent attacks in Syria on April 11, 2017. The fact that these two intelligence reports allege totally different circumstances associated with the same alleged event raises very serious questions that need to be investigated and reported to the American public.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The demonisation of Russia, North Korea, and Syria continues apace, in preparation for war.

The war against North Korea will have an incredibly horrific cost in blood and money.

The war against Syria will almost certainly lead to war against Russia, which is readying ground troops for Syria as I type this, and most probably the reinstatement of the US draft for both our young men and our young women.

But there is one factor the American Deep State is not considering; Americans have become war-weary, and war-skeptical, and may well not be willing to "buy into" war against either country, no matter how dramatic a next false flag the US creates to sell their wars may be.

This brings to mind the ratiocination for the initiation of hostilities in either theater. In addition, a war will increase U.S. hegemony in the area regardless of what happens to South Korea or Japan in the aftermath.

Boris Johnson Says It Would Be Hard To Say No To War In Syria If U.S. Asks

By Brandon Turbeville

Is there something about terribly bad hair that causes national leaders to be stricken with an incurable case of war psychosis? Is there some crinicultural reason for the lack of all sanity and even diplomatic décor when it comes to the possibility of launching a new military conflict or inflaming one already ongoing? Personally, I miss the days when world leaders would at least pretend that war was always the last choice before launching missiles, airstrikes and ground invasions that had been in the works years prior. But, alas, our current times are not so big on subtlety...

Trump has Major Trip to Saudi Arabia Planned, will Discuss Massive Weapons Deal for Saudis

Bowing to pressure from the H.R. McMaster, Dina Powell, Gary Cohn coalition, President Donald Trump’s first overseas trip is scheduled to be in Saudi Arabia, multiple sources confirmed after Steve Holland of Reuters first reported rumors of the trip. This decision has split Trump’s base, which views the Saudis as the largest state sponsor of Islamic terrorism.

During the visit Trump will discuss a proposed arms package for the Saudis, which would include a massive missile defense system as well as civilian nuclear technology. Behind the scenes McMaster will be seeking Saudi support for a ground war in Syria, which Mike Cernovich first reported in an article whose reporting was confirmed by Eli Lake of Bloomberg.

“Trump doesn’t want to go,” one person with knowledge of the trip said, “but Powell and Cohn are making him.”

When asked how Powell and Cohn could force President Trump do to anything, the source replied,

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, now we know who's calling the shots on American foreign policy, and that's the "unholy trinity" of McMaster, Powell, and Cohn.

The offensive weapons will be used to finish the Saudi genocide in Yemen, which is an appalling mass of war crimes, which just gets worse by the hour.

And the defensive weapons are designed to put Saudi Arabia on defense and nuclear parity with Iran.

But getting Saudi Arabi to sign off on a ground war in Syria?!? This most probably means two things; direct military confrontation with Russia here, and most probably the return of the draft.

The reuters article about it indicates that such a meeting will most probably happen in late May, when President Trump will be Europe for meetings, or perhaps early June:

Trump is already planning to attend a NATO summit in Brussels on May 25 and travel to Sicily for a Group of Seven leaders' summit scheduled for May 26-28.

Even if the US really backs off on its aggressive posture against North Korea, we are still then looking at yet another massive military intervention in the Middle East. And frankly, I am expecting that to go just as well.... as have the US military interventions in Afghanistan; Iraq; Libya; Somalia; and Syria.

American Intelligence Officials: Mattis ‘No Doubt’ Stance on Alleged Syrian CW Smacks of Politicized Intelligence

The danger of this rush toward an intelligence decision by Director Pompeo and National Security Advisor McMaster is that once the President and his top national security advisors have endorsed an intelligence-based conclusion, and authorized military action based upon that conclusion, it becomes virtually impossible for that conclusion to change. Israel is Trying to Legitimize Airstrikes on Syria

According to Reuters, this morning Israeli jets carried out five strikes on depots belonging to Hezbollah close to Damascus International Airport. After the explosion, a fire broke out.

It should be mentioned, that it is not the first time that Israel has launched airstrikes on Syria. On April 21, Israeli aviation targeted Syrian Army positions in the area of Khan Arnabeh in the province of Quneitra. This attack was committed when the government forces were repulsing a large-scale militant offensive.

Israeli Intelligence Minister Israel Katz has already commented on this airstrike, stating that it corresponds completely with Israel’s policy to act to prevent Iran’s smuggling of advanced weapons via Syria to Hezbollah in Iran.

Under the pretext of fighting the Lebanese Islamist militant group, Israel supports Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Moreover, according to Yournewswire.com, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman stated that ISIS doesn’t pose any risk for Israel’s security.
