World War III: Are We Being Manipulated Into a Fight We Can’t Win?

Everyone is talking about World War III right now, and I hate to be the one to say this, but…all I can wonder is whether we’re being manipulated into a fight we can’t win. This is probably going to make some folks mad, but there are some facts, statistics, and unanswered questions that support my premise.

Mattis Wanted Congressional Approval Before Syria Strike, Was Overruled By Trump

"Bolton and Mattis were said to be duking it out over the Syria strikes on Friday - with Mattis and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dunford reportedly "concerned with managing escalation and preventing blowback on US troops," while John Bolton is known for getting very excited at the prospect of a good ole' fashioned regime change"

Bolton should not be allowed anywhere near Trump's brain. There is going to be a lot more death and destruction before he's removed.

Bolton and Trump control the 'Armageddon' nuclear strike button. These two men now hold the fate of the planet in their hands. How the f*ck did that happen?

Bolton in contact with Arab states to create regional force in Syria: Report

"The United States in particular is enlisting assistance from Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates should the US significantly reduce its troops size in Syria."

So the US is expecting the Gulf Dictators to bring 'freedom and democracy' to Syria. If Nato and these Dictators stopped funding and arming the Takfiri the destruction of Syria would stop in days. Trouble is, if the takfiri head back to their home countries, with their weapons, the apostate 'Royals' will be reaping what they sowed.

This is the alliance that can't defeat the Houthis in Yemen. They will get smashed in the Syrian Cauldron.

Iran strongly determined to fight for Golan Heights

The Trump administration is looking for a replacement for the American military contingent in the north of Syria. If the United States agrees with Saudi Arabia, the situation in the south of the country will become a lot more intense as Iran and Israel stand on the brink of war. Does it all depend on Putin's decision, who still remains angered with the most recent bombings of Syria? On the night of April 17, Syrian Shayrat air base in Homs was shelled again. Pentagon officials said that the United States was not conducting military operations in the region. Iran held Israel responsible and threatened with "an appropriate response," Haaretz newspaper reported citing a statement from official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Bahram Ghassemi.

Israeli defense minister claims right of 'total freedom of action' in Syrian airspace

Israel will not accept any limitations to its operations in Syrian airspace against 'Iranian threat', the defense minister said, expressing hope that "communication" lines with Moscow will help avoid any "friction" in the air.

On Tuesday morning, a series of missile strikes once again targeted Syrian military infrastructure. The Pentagon, which led the coordinated April 14 assault against Syrian targets with its British and French allies, denied its involvement in attacking a new set of targets. Israel, which struck Syria's Tiyas (T-4) airfield in Homs province on April 9, also failed to acknowledge bombing its neighbor.

Yet the new attack against Syria comes just hours after Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman vowed to protect the country's national interests through breaching Syrian airspace if necessary.

Syria strikes prove political bankruptcy of US, allies: Iran's Salehi

A senior Iranian official says the recent US-led missile attack against Syria proved the political bankruptcy of Washington and its allies.

The strikes against Syria were carried out under a pretext similar to that used by former US Secretary of State Colin Powell, which led to Washington's invasion of Iraq in 2003, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, told reporters on Monday.

During his presentation to the United Nations Security Council in February 2003, Powell claimed that Iraq might have tried to buy uranium from Niger in order to use it for non-peaceful purposes; however, after two years, it was proved that his documents were fake, Salehi added.

He noted that false US claims have made people all over the world vigilant and made them familiar with the "real nature of the aggressive countries."

It has become clear to people what an "unwise, cruel and savage policy" the US statesmen have applied to Syria, he emphasized.

ISIS attempts to capture key Syrian air defense base in southeast Homs

The Islamic State (ISIS) resumed their assault in the southeastern countryside of Homs this morning, striking the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the town of Muhasah.

ISIS began their attack by heavily shelling Syrian Arab Army’s positions near Muhasah, prompting the latter to respond with a barrage of missiles and artillery.

Intense clashes would breakout between the Syrian Army and ISIS terrorists shortly after the exchange of missiles and artillery, with the latter taking the offensive in a bid to capture the 16th Air Defense Regiment.

Russia cannot limit Israel's actions in Syria: Lieberman

Israel will not accept limitations on its "actions" in Syria from Russia or any other country, Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Monday, a week after a deadly raid attributed to the Jewish state.

"We will maintain total freedom of action. We will not accept any limitation when it comes to the defence of our security interests," Lieberman said in a video interview with the Walla news site in response to a question on Russia's criticism of the recent strike.

"But we do not want to provoke the Russians. We have an open line of communication at the level of senior officers. The Russians understand us and the fact is that for years we have managed to avoid friction with them" in Syria.

Lieberman again accused Israel's main enemy Iran of seeking to entrench itself militarily in neighbouring Syria and threaten his country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lieberman has a PhD ( Sh*t Piled Higher and Deeper) when it comes to these brazenly hubristic threats against Russia and Iran.

I would politely suggest that he may want to rethink his public dissing of Russia at this point; Russia understands how to respond asymetrically, and there will, most probably, not be a thing Tel Aviv will be able to do to prevent this.

Macron Reversal: Didn’t Change Trump’s Mind on Syria Troops

French President Emmanuel Macron is feverishly backpedaling Monday on his claims only a day prior that he had personally convinced President Trump to keep US troops in Syria. The White House has already denied this claim.

Now Macron is claiming he never meant to suggest he’d changed US policy, but rather that he and President Trump had seen eye-to-eye on Syria all along. He added that they both agree that US troops need to stay in Syria for “the long term.”

This isn’t a good story either. President Trump is still reported to want to withdraw the troops from Syria, even if he’s become resigned to keeping them in the country for the time being. Trump is said to have only agreed because of intense Pentagon pressure.

BIG TURNAROUND IN SIRIA: Russian soldiers found a terrorist's chemical warehouse

Russian soldiers have found a chemical weapons storage facility in the Syrian city of Duma, a Star TV channel said.

SECDEF MATTIS: WHERE’S THE PROOF?

I'm old enough to remember the Cuban missile crisis. For those few days in 1962, the family dinner table was tense and the air - the attitude - in the country was surreal. People lived and went to work, as before, but hanging over every waking moment was the full conscious realization, of every second of every day during the crisis, of the possibility that civilization could go up in mushroom clouds of radioactivity. Years later, as the full story of the Cuban missile crisis was finally known and told, it became clear that the world had made it through the crisis largely because two men - Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev and American President John F Kennedy - had stood down their countries' respective "war hawks." The real life scenario had come uncomfortably close to Stanley Kubrick's black comedy, Dr. Strangelove.

Seven years after war broke out, France moves to strip Assad of Legion d'Honneur

The French government plans to strip Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of his Legion d'Honneur, France's most prestigious award, days after participating in air strikes against suspected chemical weapons sites in Syria.

"The Elysee confirms that a disciplinary procedure for withdrawing the Legion d'Honneur (Legion of Honour) is underway," President Emmanuel Macron's office said late on Monday, seven years after a civil uprising against Assad’s government turned into a brutal civil war.

Assad was decorated with the Legion's highest rank of Grand Croix (Great Cross) by former president Jacques Chirac in 2001, shortly after taking power following the death of his father Hafez al-Assad.

Only a French president, who by tradition is the top-ranking Legion member, can decide to withdraw the distinction from a foreigner.

Attacking Syria: Thumbing Noses at Constitution and Law

The U.S. Constitution and international law suffered a stinging blow last night at the hands of an odd coalition that might be called Goldilocks and two moral dwarfs posing as Marine generals, together with a “Right Dishonorable” harridan and a young French poodle.

As was the case 15 years ago when the U.S. and UK launched a war of aggression against Iraq, the pretext was so-called “weapons of mass destruction” (WMD) — this time the claimed use on April 7 of chlorine (and maybe the nerve agent sarin — who knows?) in Duma a suburb of Damascus. Alas, This Is Far From Over!

Let’s begin by a short summary of events.

About a month ago Nikki Haley announces to the UNSC that the USA is ready to violate the rules of this very self-same UNSC should a chemical attack happen in Syria

Then the Russians announced that they have evidence that a chemical false flag is being prepared in Syria

Then a chemical attack (supposedly) takes place (in a location surrounded and, basically, controlled by government forces!)

The OPWC sends investigators (in spite of western powers loudly proclaiming that no investigation was needed)

The AngloZionists then bomb Syria

Next, the UNSC refuses to condemn the violation of its own rules and decisions

Finally, the US Americans speak of a ‘perfect strike’

Now tell me – do you get a sense that this is over?

Russian top brass reveals 'true targets' of US-led strikes against Syria

The US and its allies sought to hit Syrian military targets, including airfields, during their missile strike, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.

"The true targets of the strike delivered by the US, the UK and France on April 14 were both facilities in Barzeh and Jaramani and Syrian military facilities, including airfields," he said.

According to Konashenkov, a photo of a facility located in the Barzeh area shows that "the destruction caused by the missile strike does not correspond to the scale of destruction from the use of three dozen cruise missiles." "Moreover, the survey of this and other facilities revealed neither this number of ammunition fragments nor the corresponding number of craters," he added.

Pentagon acknowledges US contractor presence in Syria for first time

The US military is using more than 5,500 contractors in the campaign to defeat the Islamic State (IS) in Syria and Iraq, the Pentagon revealed in a quarterly report this week that acknowledges the use of contractors in the Syrian war zone for the first time.

The latest figures from US Central Command indicate that 5,508 US and foreign contractors are working alongside US troops in the two combat zones. That’s an increase of 581, or 12%, over January’s numbers, which did not include Syria. About half of the contractors are US citizens, while the rest are local or third-country hires.

At destroyed Syria lab, workers say they produce antidotes to snake venom not toxic weapons

The site, according to Western powers, was part of the Syrian government’s “chemical weapons infrastructure.”

But Said told AFP only non-lethal research and development was under way at the centre.

“As we work in civilian pharmaceutical and chemical research, we did not expect that we would be hit,” he said.

Instead, the centre had been producing antidotes to scorpion and snake venom while running tests on chemical products used in making food, medicine and children’s toys, according to Said.

The search for truth in the rubble of Douma – and one doctor’s doubts over the chemical attack

This is the story of a town called Douma, a ravaged, stinking place of smashed apartment blocks – and of an underground clinic whose images of suffering allowed three of the Western world’s most powerful nations to bomb Syria last week. There’s even a friendly doctor in a green coat who, when I track him down in the very same clinic, cheerfully tells me that the “gas” videotape which horrified the world – despite all the doubters – is perfectly genuine.

War stories, however, have a habit of growing darker. For the same 58-year old senior Syrian doctor then adds something profoundly uncomfortable: the patients, he says, were overcome not by gas but by oxygen starvation in the rubbish-filled tunnels and basements in which they lived, on a night of wind and heavy shelling that stirred up a dust storm.

'Oxygen starvation, not gas’: Veteran UK reporter Fisk doubts MSM narrative on Douma ‘chem attack’

Veteran UK reporter Robert Fisk went to Syria’s Douma and heard that residents shown in notorious “gas attack footage” actually suffered from oxygen loss due to hiding in trash-filled shelters, and not from chemicals.

Robert Fisk, a veteran UK foreign correspondent with the Independent, and one of the few Western reporters to have interviewed Osama bin Laden, went to Douma to go beyond what the Western media portrayed in early April as the “Bashar Assad regime’s chemical attack.”

How the US Occupied the 30% of Syria Containing Most of its Oil, Water and Gas

While the U.S. military presence in Syria has been ongoing since 2015 – justified as a means of countering Daesh (ISIS) — U.S. troops have since turned into an occupying force with their failure to pull out following Daesh’s defeat in northeastern Syria. Currently, the U.S. occupies nearly a third of Syrian territory — around 30 percent — including much of the area east of the Euphrates River, encompassing large swaths of the Deir Ezzor, Al-Hasakah and Raqqa regions.

Though the U.S. currently has between 2,000 to 4,000 troops stationed in Syria, it announced the training of a 30,000-person-strong “border force” composed of U.S.-allied Kurds and Arabs in the area, which would be used to prevent northeastern Syria from coming under the control of Syria’s legitimate government. Though it backtracked somewhat after backlash from Turkey, the U.S. has continued to train “local forces” in the area. Russian military sources have asserted that former members of Daesh — who were allowed to leave cities attacked by the U.S. and their proxies, as was the case in battle for Raqqa — are to be included among the force’s ranks.

This, along with the U.S. government’s insistence on maintaining the occupation until Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is removed from power, shows that the U.S. government has no intention of permitting the reunification of Syria and will continue to occupy the region over the long term.

Inspectors reportedly reach alleged Syria chemical attack site

A team of international inspectors entered the town near Damascus that was the scene of an alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria on Tuesday, Syrian state TV reported. They arrived in Douma more than a week after the U.S. government and its allies accused President Bashar al-Assad of killing his own people with poison gas in the April 7 attack.

The head of the International Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said Monday that Russian and Syrian authorities had prevented his team from reaching the scene of the attack in the Damascus suburb of Douma, due to what the two countries said were "security issues" caused by U.S. and allied missile strikes over the weekend.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I feel obliged to warn the OPCW about any Americans on their team, owing to an ugly incident that happened when the IAEA was asked to verify that Iraq was making weapons grade uranium. The Americans on that team were caught trying to plant uranium in a facility. It was thought they used a reference sample they had brought for testing. When the IAEA asked for the reference sample to do an isotopic comparison with what had been "found", the Americans destroyed their sample before it could be analysed.

Western Military Debacle in Eastern Ghouta

You won’t be hearing any of this in the western news media because the U.S./UK definitely want to keep the lid on this report. "Mr. Bolton knew the respect Mr. Trump had for Mr. Mattis, and he may have decided that it

***
White House meetings, the president and his advisers agreed on one of the most restrained of the military-strike options crafted by the Pentagon: a powerful missile attack aimed at three targets meant to hobble the Syrian regime’s ability to use chemical weapons and deter President Bashar al-Assad from using them again.
***
The second option proposed strikes on a broader set of Syrian regime targets, including suspected chemical-weapons research facilities and military command centers.
***
Trump pressed his team to also consider strikes on Russian and Iranian targets in Syria if necessary following reports that Assad had moved planes to Russian facilities to help protect them. But Mattis pushed back, those familiar with the decision-making said. United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley joined Trump in advocating for a forceful response, while Mattis warned about the risks that a more expansive strike could trigger a dangerous response from Moscow and Tehran.

Syrian Chemical Attack in Douma this is the Gas Cylinder Used for Chemical Attack

The main piece of evidence for a gas attack is the barrel bomb dropped from a helicopter.

Death by Hypocrisy and Demon Worship; the Israeli Way.

Please forgive the use of bad language to punctuate bad behavior. There is no culture on Earth more evil and Satanic than that of Israel founded on the Nazi formula of Theodor Herzl and financed by the Satanic first family of arch-devils, Rothschild clan. The evil of the AshkeNAZI empire had its origin in the translation of the Ashkenazim into Khazar's. In the 9th century, King Bulan of Khazaria got hoodwinked by a filth peddling Talmudist. The Ashka-nimrods object to this linkage which is all the proof needed that it is so. If they say something is so, it is not and if they say something is not so, it is. This is a good rule of thumb to measure them by and it is always a spiritual affirmation to stick that thumb up your ass for emphasis and their version of an holy oil immersion process.

According to local reports, several missiles were launched after “unknown warplanes” entered Syrian airspace from Lebanon.

A military source added that the Syrian military believes Israeli warplanes were responsible.

It is currently unclear what the airstrike was targeting.

Initial reports claim the raid is aimed at the T4 base, but others say it is aimed at Shyrat AB which was hit last year in the US Tomahawk attack.

A number of reporters have said there are "Israeli warplanes" flying at high-altitude carrying out the attack after crossing the borders through Lebanon.

A statement from the Syrian regime added that several missiles were intercepted, but these reports are unconfirmed.
