White Helmets Preparing Another False-Flag Operation Similar to Idlib's Chemical Incident

The White Helmets Organization is getting ready to write another fake scenario similar to the one they practiced in the town of Kahn Sheikhoun earlier this month, local sources said Sunday.
The sources reported that several White Helmets along with a number of civilians, including children, have arrived in Ariha in Idlib province.

The sources said that the White Helmets are in Ariha to possibly conduct another false-flag operation similar to Khan Sheikhoun chemical incident to create a fresh wave of accusations against the Syrian government's involvement in a chemical attack on civilians.

Debunking Trump’s Casus Belli

Recently, with the cruise missile attacks on a Syrian airfield, there has been a considerable loosening of the normal restraints that employees exercise regarding their duties. Even more than the invasion of Iraq, which was viewed skeptically by many in the community, the decision by President Trump to retaliate with force against Damascus has been met with dismay among many of those closest to the action in the Middle East.

Many officers have expressed frustration and anger over what has taken place—not to challenge national-security policy, which they leave up to the politicians, but because they are perceiving a tissue of lies, as in Iraq. They have expressed their concerns in very specific ways to former fellow officers and friends. For the first time, people on the inside of the process are really talking. And we have been listening, astonished at the level of anger.

Tensions Grow Between US, Turkey Along Syrian Border

The US responded to last week’s Turkish attacks on allied Kurdish forces in both Iraq and Syria by deploying a growing number of US troops in armored vehicles along the Syria-Turkey border, aiming to provide some sort of buffer and to prevent more Turkish attacks.

It doesn’t seem to be working, and if anything, tensions are now growing between the Turkish government and the US, with Turkish officials unhappy that the US is getting in their way, and seeing it as amounting to the US taking the side of the Kurds against them.

Turkish President Erdogan insisted he was “deeply saddened” to see the US flag flying alongside “terrorists” from the Kurdish YPG, saying he intends to demand President Trump stop supporting the Kurds in an upcoming White House visit, adding “this needs to be stopped right now.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question now becomes, just how far is the US government prepared to go, in preventing Turkey from interfering in the creating of an independent Kurdistan?!?

The Flawed Chemical Analysis in the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 Alleging a Syrian Government Sarin Nerve Agent Attack in Khan Sheikhoun of April 4, 2017

In this short note I describe why the chemical forensic analysis and logic described in the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 (FIR) could lead to a high confidence conclusion that an indigenous nerve agent attack in Denver, Colorado was perpetrated by the Syrian government.

Such an obviously flawed investigative finding would be a product of the same combination of irrational arguments and unsound scientific evidence that the FIR used as its basis to reach a conclusion that the Syrian government must have executed in nerve agent attack on April 4, 2017 in Khan Sheikhoun.

US-led air strikes on ISIS have killed 352 civilians, says the Pentagon as it admits 'regret' - but critics claim the number is at least THREE THOUSAND

At least 352 civilians have been killed in US-led strikes against ISIS targets in Iraq and Syria since 2014, the Pentagon said on Sunday.

The Combined Joint Task Force said they were still assessing 42 reports of civilian deaths in their monthly assessment of air attacks targeting the jihadists.

Senior officials added that 45 civilians were killed between November 2016 and March 2017.

It reported 80 civilian deaths from August 2014 to the present that had not previously been announced. The report included 26 deaths from three separate strikes in March.

But monitoring group Airwars said more than 3,000 civilians have been killed by coalition air strikes.

US REPEATING SAME WAR CRIME IN SYRIA THAT STARVED 500,000 CHILDREN TO DEATH IN IRAQ

The Associated Press states that “any property or interest in property of the individuals’ sanctioned must be blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from dealing with them.” Also according to AP, “Three U.S. officials said that the sanctions are part of a broader effort to cut off funding and other support to Syria’s President Bashar Assad and his government amid the country’s escalating civil war. The U.S. blames Assad for a recent chemical attack on Syrian civilians, and responded earlier this month by launching missiles against a Syrian airfield.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

US Deploys Troops in NE Syria as ‘Buffer’ Between Kurds, Turkey

The US has deployed a number of special forces troops and armored vehicles along the border between Kurdish-held northeast Syria and Turkey, with most of the troops sent to the area around Darbasiya, which was the site of heavy Turkish attacks earlier this week.

Officially, US commanders say the troops are there “monitoring the situation,” though Syrian Kurds say that in practice the US deployment is an attempt to establish a “buffer” to try to limit fighting between the two sides,, which has been raging since Turkey’s airstrikes were carried out.

From Turkey’s perspective, there are two trains of thought on their recent push to attack the Kurdish YPG, who they consider “terrorists.” On the one hand, there seems to be some hope that if they can displace the Kurds enough during the buildup to the invasion of the ISIS capital of Raqqa, the US might agree to change it to a joint US-Turkey operation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think we will continue to see more US troops in Syria, as regime change is definitely back on the table here, in the thinking of the American deep state.

REPORTS: US TROOPS DEPLOY ALONG SYRIA-TURKISH BORDER

U.S. armored vehicles are deploying in areas in northern Syria along the tense border with Turkey, a few days after a Turkish airstrike that killed 20 U.S.-backed Kurdish fighters, a Syrian war monitor and Kurdish activists said Friday.

Footage posted by Syrian activists online showed a convoy of U.S. armored vehicles driving on a rural road in the village of Darbasiyah, a few hundred meters from the Turkish border. Clashes in the area were reported between Turkish and Kurdish forces Wednesday a day after the Turkish airstrike which also destroyed a Kurdish command headquarters.

Bulgarian Weapons Sent to Terrorists in Syria Through Saudi Arabia

The Bulgarian newspaper “Trud” published a report on April 21, 2017 about an investigation into the supply of Bulgarian weapons to the terrorists in Syria, shipped through Saudi Arabia.

In early April, ship so called “Marianne Danica” arrived the biggest port of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah under the flag of Denmark, after it left the port of Burgas on March 28th, loaded with tons of weapons.

According to the newspaper, the ship was listed as transporting dangerous cargo – “Hazard A” (Major), which refers to the transport of explosives and weapons. After 8 hours dangerous cargo is unloaded at the port of Jeddah and the ship sails back to Bourgas. The weapons were not intended for Saudi Arabia, as Saudi army are only equipped almost exclusively with US and UK weaponry.

TRUMP IS PUPPET OF US ‘DEEP STATE,’ HAS NO ‘OWN’ FOREIGN POLICY – ASSAD

US president Donald Trump is not a truly independent political leader but merely a puppet of US corporations, military and intelligence, and who serves their interests, Syrian President Bashar Assad has told the Latin American TeleSUR TV network.
Trump pursues “no own policies” but only executes the decisions made by the “intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, the big arms manufacturers, oil companies, and financial institutions,” the Syrian leader said in an exclusive interview with TeleSUR.

"As we have seen in the past few weeks, he changed his rhetoric completely and subjected himself to the terms of the deep American state, or the deep American regime," Assad added.

New spin of North Korea-Syria ‘axis of evil’ points to US war

US media reports this week blamed North Korea for having a dastardly role in an alleged chemical weapons massacre in Syria. As if the two countries could not be demonized enough. The latest spin of the “axis of evil” suggests Washington is hell-bent on war.
Demonize, dehumanize, destroy. That’s the logic being throttled by the Trump administration toward both North Korea and Syria. This week war hawk US Senator Lyndsey Graham after a dinner with President Trump referred to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as a “nutjob,” while Trump earlier labeled Syrian leader Bashar Assad an “animal.”

Now the two “evil dictators” are bonded in US media reports for complicity in the alleged chemical weapons attack earlier this month in Syria’s Idlib Province, where it is claimed Assad’s armed forces dropped toxic munitions on civilians, killing up to 80.

The supplier of the alleged chemical weapons in Syria is the “Kim Jong-un regime” in North Korea, according to US reports.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 28, 2017: GOVT FORCES ADVANCE ON MULTIPLE FRONTS

Clashes resumed in Al-Qaboun district in eastern Damascus as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) capture more points from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies. The SAA detected a tunnel connecting many positions of the militants inside the district and destroyed it. Ahrar al-Sham claimed that its members had hit two SAA tanks in Al-Qaboun district.

Pro-militant sources say that opposition forces are in a critical situation in the area after government troops cut off supply lines operated by militants in the area. HTS-led forces suffer from shortages of ammunition and food.

Earlier this week, the SAA launched an operation against ISIS to in the Damascus desert east of the Syrian capital. So far, the SAA has advanced towards the Al-Sham desert around the Tishreen electricity station capturing some 6 kilometers. Pro-government sources report heavy losses among ISIS members.

The French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 Contradicts the Allegations in the White House Intelligence Report of April 11, 2017 by Dr. Theodore Postol

Attached below are data derived from the French Intelligence Report published yesterday on April 26, 2017. A reading of the report instantaneously indicates that the French Intelligence Report of April 26, 2017 directly contradicts the White House Intelligence Report of April 11, 2017. The discrepancies between these two reports essentially result in two completely different narratives alleging nerve agent attacks in Syria on April 11, 2017. The fact that these two intelligence reports allege totally different circumstances associated with the same alleged event raises very serious questions that need to be investigated and reported to the American public.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The demonisation of Russia, North Korea, and Syria continues apace, in preparation for war.

The war against North Korea will have an incredibly horrific cost in blood and money.

The war against Syria will almost certainly lead to war against Russia, which is readying ground troops for Syria as I type this, and most probably the reinstatement of the US draft for both our young men and our young women.

But there is one factor the American Deep State is not considering; Americans have become war-weary, and war-skeptical, and may well not be willing to "buy into" war against either country, no matter how dramatic a next false flag the US creates to sell their wars may be.

This brings to mind the ratiocination for the initiation of hostilities in either theater. For North Korea, it is simple: The North Koreans are one of the three nations not involved in the global banking cartel. In addition, a war will increase U.S. hegemony in the area regardless of what happens to South Korea or Japan in the aftermath.

Boris Johnson Says It Would Be Hard To Say No To War In Syria If U.S. Asks

By Brandon Turbeville

Is there something about terribly bad hair that causes national leaders to be stricken with an incurable case of war psychosis? Is there some crinicultural reason for the lack of all sanity and even diplomatic décor when it comes to the possibility of launching a new military conflict or inflaming one already ongoing? Personally, I miss the days when world leaders would at least pretend that war was always the last choice before launching missiles, airstrikes and ground invasions that had been in the works years prior. But, alas, our current times are not so big on subtlety...

Trump has Major Trip to Saudi Arabia Planned, will Discuss Massive Weapons Deal for Saudis

Bowing to pressure from the H.R. McMaster, Dina Powell, Gary Cohn coalition, President Donald Trump’s first overseas trip is scheduled to be in Saudi Arabia, multiple sources confirmed after Steve Holland of Reuters first reported rumors of the trip. This decision has split Trump’s base, which views the Saudis as the largest state sponsor of Islamic terrorism.

During the visit Trump will discuss a proposed arms package for the Saudis, which would include a massive missile defense system as well as civilian nuclear technology. Behind the scenes McMaster will be seeking Saudi support for a ground war in Syria, which Mike Cernovich first reported in an article whose reporting was confirmed by Eli Lake of Bloomberg.

“Trump doesn’t want to go,” one person with knowledge of the trip said, “but Powell and Cohn are making him.”

When asked how Powell and Cohn could force President Trump do to anything, the source replied,

Webmaster's Commentary:

Well, now we know who's calling the shots on American foreign policy, and that's the "unholy trinity" of McMaster, Powell, and Cohn.

The offensive weapons will be used to finish the Saudi genocide in Yemen, which is an appalling mass of war crimes, which just gets worse by the hour.

And the defensive weapons are designed to put Saudi Arabia on defense and nuclear parity with Iran.

But getting Saudi Arabi to sign off on a ground war in Syria?!? This most probably means two things; direct military confrontation with Russia here, and most probably the return of the draft.

The reuters article about it indicates that such a meeting will most probably happen in late May, when President Trump will be Europe for meetings, or perhaps early June:

Trump is already planning to attend a NATO summit in Brussels on May 25 and travel to Sicily for a Group of Seven leaders' summit scheduled for May 26-28.

Even if the US really backs off on its aggressive posture against North Korea, we are still then looking at yet another massive military intervention in the Middle East. And frankly, I am expecting that to go just as well.... as have the US military interventions in Afghanistan; Iraq; Libya; Somalia; and Syria.

American Intelligence Officials: Mattis ‘No Doubt’ Stance on Alleged Syrian CW Smacks of Politicized Intelligence

The danger of this rush toward an intelligence decision by Director Pompeo and National Security Advisor McMaster is that once the President and his top national security advisors have endorsed an intelligence-based conclusion, and authorized military action based upon that conclusion, it becomes virtually impossible for that conclusion to change. Intelligence assessments from that point forward will embrace facts that sustain this conclusion, and reject those that don’t; it is the definition of politicized intelligence, even if those involved disagree.

Israel is Trying to Legitimize Airstrikes on Syria

According to Reuters, this morning Israeli jets carried out five strikes on depots belonging to Hezbollah close to Damascus International Airport. After the explosion, a fire broke out.

It should be mentioned, that it is not the first time that Israel has launched airstrikes on Syria. On April 21, Israeli aviation targeted Syrian Army positions in the area of Khan Arnabeh in the province of Quneitra. This attack was committed when the government forces were repulsing a large-scale militant offensive.

Israeli Intelligence Minister Israel Katz has already commented on this airstrike, stating that it corresponds completely with Israel’s policy to act to prevent Iran’s smuggling of advanced weapons via Syria to Hezbollah in Iran.

Under the pretext of fighting the Lebanese Islamist militant group, Israel supports Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Moreover, according to Yournewswire.com, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman stated that ISIS doesn’t pose any risk for Israel’s security.

Intel Vets Slam Trump’s ‘Chemical Weapons’ Fraud in Syria

It’s been nearly one month since the alleged ‘chemical weapons’ airstrike is said to have taken place in Syria, and despite the fact that no forensic investigation has taken place – the US, UK, Israel and other members of “The Coalition” are using it as a pretext to escalate military intervention inside Syria.

Earlier, 21WIRE published a report by Marwa Osman which outlines what the US, Israel, Jordan and their allied have planned for June, for a wider offensive to help Israel capture land in the Golan Heights – under the auspices of “fighting ISIS” in the south of Syria.

Similar moves are well underway in the north around Raqqa. After all US-led military assets are in place, the real fighting is set to begin – in order that the US-led Coalition can create “Safe Zones” which is really a ploy to partition Syria by force – using ISIS as the Casus belli.

SYRIAN ARMY MAKES IMPORTANT GAINS IN HOMS PROVINCE

On April 26, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate Gen. Sergei Rudskoi announced that Russia had withdrawn half of its warplanes from the Hmeymim Airbase in Syria. Rudskoi said that the number of Russian aircraft in Hmeymim between November 10th, 2016 and January 10th, 2017 did not exceed 35 fighters; 80 UAVs. He added that the withdrawal of some warplanes comes after a decrease in the number of terrorists in Syria.

Pro-government forces, led by the Syrian Army’s 5th Assault Corps, recaptured the key ash-Shair gas filed and the ash-Shair gas plant from ISIS in the province of Homs. Earlier this week, government forces had captured a number of small hills near the ash-Shair field. Therefore, ISIS terrorists were pushed to withdraw from the area without stiff resistance.

French 'Proof' That Assad Used Sarin in Khan Sheikhoun Turns out to Be Complete BS

For over a week now France has claimed it has irrefutable evidence that Syrian military used gas against civilians earlier this month and would present it shortly.

It has now done so. It says it has determined that sarin used in the 2017 Khan Sheikhoun attack came from the same stock used in an earlier 2013 attack.

This is it. This is the extent of its super-duper evidence.

Because Paris "knows" the Syrian army used sarin in 2013, which Syria denies and was never proven, France now "knows" Syria also used sarin in 2017.

Anywhere else that would be called circular logic.
If anything, if samples from Khan Sheikhoun match sarin used in 2013 that makes it all the more likely that it came from rebel stock. The same stock they ultimately used to stage the East Ghouta false flag.

Is “Mad Dog” Planning to Invade East Syria?

The Pentagon’s plan for seizing and occupying territory in east Syria is beginning to take shape. According to a Fox News exclusive: “The Islamic State has essentially moved its so-called capital in Syria… ISIS is now centered in Deir ez-Zur, roughly 90 miles southeast of Raqqa, the officials said.” (“ISIS moves its capital in Syria”, FOX News )

The move by ISIS corresponds to the secretive massing of US troops and military equipment on the Syria-Jordan border. It creates the perfect pretext for a ground invasion followed by a long-term military occupation in an area that Washington has sought to control for the last 18 months. Here’s more on the topic from South Front:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ah, but there is one reality the author of this article fails to mention; that is the (invited) Russian military presence in Syria.

And I think the question that Sec-Def Mattis must address is, how far will the Russians go to defend the Al-Assad government against this American invasion of sovereign Syria?!?

My thought would be, as far as it takes, even if it literally going to war with the US over Syria.

And this is a war which our American military may well lose; and I say that because at this point in its history, the American military doesn't have the troop strength; the weaponry; the money; or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia.

Trump’s Aggressions In Syria Will Have Long-Term Consequences

As I have noted in response to the latest U.S. government aggressions in the Middle East, Donald Trump’s short-sighted military actions in Syria are not based on rational thought but on emotionalism, his feeling terrible about the children and other innocent victims of the chemical attack in Syria this week. But this is purely selective emotionalism, given that he doesn’t seem so concerned about all the innocent victims of his own drone bombings that he has been authorizing since he was sworn in as President.

Trump is also not concerned for the probable long-term results of his warmongering now. History indicates that the situation will only get worse from here, as we have seen with Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What is most troubling to me, in Syria, is that it appears to be just a matter of time before Russia sends ground troops here, and Russia signalled its readiness to do so just yesterday:

‘Safe Zone’ In Syria: A Ploy to Ignite a New Battle Front

It hardly comes as a surprise anymore that the US and its allies in the Middle East are seeking to partition Syria in whichever means possible. However, the anti-American alliance of Syria, Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah dubbed the “Axis of Resistance” stands to oppose that division.

‘With Syria in pieces, it’s time to recognize Israel’s Annexation of the Golan’ read a headline at the Jerusalem Post on April 20 citing Israeli Deputy Minister for diplomacy Michael Oren who claimed that it is time for the world to recognize the Golan Heights as part of the Israeli entity. Even the Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reaffirmed his country’s claim over the Golan Heights during summit talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin last month on March 10, 2017. Trump Wants Regime Change in Syria

In March 2011, Obama launched war on Syria to destroy its sovereignty and replace Assad with pro-Western puppet rule.

Trump upped the stakes. He escalated war, increased US terror-bombing, and doubled the number of US forces on the ground ahead of likely larger numbers coming.

His hugely dangerous war plan risks direct confrontation with Russia. Instead of governing responsibly, he’s recklessly risking possible nuclear war in the Middle East and on the Korean peninsula.

Netanyahu Says Syria's Golan Heights Belongs To ISRAEL

Hello Jeff - Here it is, Netanyahu says the Golan Heights belong to Israel. Then, Netanyahu tells Syria that the Israelis will 'rebuild Syria' in exchange for the Golan Heights.

Israel wants the Golan Heights pretty badly so this gives credence to my theory that the Jews are pushing for the Syrian refugees to be moved to the West. (and out of the way of Israel)

Now you know why Trump dropped the cruise missals onto Syria. With more destruction due, there will be plenty to rebuild.

Trump is taking orders from Israel which makes him an incompetent President. Trump should be replaced immediately.

Alasdair Macleod Reveals America’s Financial War Strategy

America’s renewed desire to escalate military tensions is a front for America’s continual financial war, this time directed at North Korea, Syria and possibly Iran. This is likely to be the opinion of China’s strategic advisors. We analyse the geopolitics and economics behind America’s war strategy from China’s perspective, concluding that it is entering its final phase. China’s exit plan appears to be to tie the pricing of energy and then other major commodities to gold, returning to the pre-1971 status quo, when the dollar was just a settlement link between commodity prices and gold. Except this time, the dollar itself will be side-lined, so far as China is concerned, which will use the yuan instead for its empire, which will be far larger than that of the US in time, measured by GDP.

TURKISH AIRSTRIKES ON KURDS COMPLICATE U.S. OPERATIONS IN IRAQ AND SYRIA

A few hour ago the Turkish airforce hit Kurdish and Yezidi positons on both sides of the Singal mountains in east-Syria and west-Iraq. Near Derik in east-Syria more than 20 bombs destroyed a YPG headquarter, a radio station and a media center. At least nine YPK fighters were killed. The YPG is the Syrian sister organization of the Kurdish PKK in Turkey. The PKK is a designated terrorist organization. Within Syria U.S. special forces are embedded with the YPG and are coordinating YPG moves against the Islamic State in Raqqa. YPK and PKK follow the anarcho-marxist theories of their leader Abdullah Öcalan who is in isolation detention in Turkey.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question is, what can the US offer Erdogan's Turkey, to make it comfortable with in an independent Kurdistan, when the Turkish government has made it clear that ethnic Kurds in their country are persona non grata, and done their best to suppress Kurdish political parties?!?

But until, and unless, the US has something to offer Turkey, in exchange for them accepting the reality of an independent Kurdistan, these attacks will continue, and most probably worsen.

ISIS Once 'Apologized' to Israel for Attacking IDF Soldiers: Fmr Defense Minister's Stunning Admission

ISIS once ‘apologized’ to Israel for attacking IDF soldiers – former Defense Minister

Tel Aviv remains so “neutral” in the Syrian conflict that even Islamic State terrorists have on at least one occasion “apologized” to Israel for mistakenly attacking IDF soldiers in the occupied Golan Heights, according to a former Israeli Defense Minister.

Speaking about the wider Israeli policy of “neutrality” in Syria, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon accidentally acknowledged that Israel has an open communications channel with an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) cell which operates in Gollan Heights.

“There was one case recently where Daesh opened fire and apologized,” Ya’alon said on Saturday, as cited by the Times of Israel.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 25, 2017: SYRIAN ARMY ADVANCING ON MILITANT STRONGHOLD OF LATAMINAH

Syrian government forces have regained more areas from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-led forces in northern Hama. Government troops have captured Massanah, Zawr Mahruqah, and reached Markabah. Clashes were also reported in Buwaida and Zailaqiat. Current developments show that government forces will likely attempt to secure Buwaida and Markabah and then storm Lataminah.

Fresh speculation has been circulating in the media that Russia is preparing to deploy its ground forces to Syria following an expected official request by the Syrian government. The reports refer to some unknown military sources and argue that a plan for the deployment already exists. However, this looks like another attempt to warm things up on the diplomatic front amid the collapse of “opposition” forces in northern Hama.

Israel Makes It Official: The Destruction of Syria Will Legitimize Israeli Land Grabs

Israel's deputy minister for diplomacy Michael Oren has announced that 'there is no Syria to negotiate with', which means that Israel's illegal occupation of the Golan should be recognized by the international community.

Capitalizing on the chaos and destruction of a six-year war to push for international recognition of occupied land? That's not very neighborly.

According to Oren, "Without Israel there [in the Golan], the region would be jeopardized. ISIS would be on the Kinneret."

Perhaps this is the reason why Israel has repeatedly targeted the Syrian Army and its allies fighting Islamic State in Syria, instead of bombing ISIS?

How the U.S. Government Spins the Story

Sounds like we’ve heard it all before, because we have, back in August 2013, and that turned out to be less than convincing. Skepticism is likewise mounting over current White House claims that Damascus used a chemical weapon against civilians in the village of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province on April 4th. Shortly after the more recent incident, President Donald Trump, possibly deriving his information from television news reports, abruptly stated that the government of President Bashar al-Assad had ordered the attack. He also noted that the use of chemicals had “crossed many red lines” and hinted that Damascus would be held accountable. Twenty-four hours later retribution came in the form of the launch of 59 cruise missiles directed against the Syrian airbase at Sharyat. The number of casualties, if any, remains unclear and the base itself sustained only minor damage amidst allegations that many of the missiles had missed their target.

The neoconservatives, the vanguard of the Israel lobby, have especially been ardent in their advocacy of a hardline, interventionist position toward Syria. Evidence abounds for this finding, but it is best encapsulated by an August 2011 open letter from the neoconservative Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (an organization which claims to address any “threat facing America, Israel and the West”) to President Obama, urging him to take stronger measures against Syria.

Did Russia Shoot Down US Missiles In Syria

In an exclusive video interview with RiskHedge, a long-time geopolitical expert says there is an alternate story making the rounds about the United States’ April 7 missile strike on Syria’s Shayrat Airbase in response to the Syrian regime’s alleged use of sarin gas on its own people.

“Not all missiles made their target,” says Dr. Theodore Karasik, a senior advisor to Gulf State Analytics. “There were supposed to be 60. One malfunctioned on one of the ships. 36 made target, the remainder did not. And, there’s a question of where did they go?”

Dr. Karasik, a former senior political scientist in the International Policy and Security Group at RAND Corporation, spent the last decade in the Middle East and retains an extensive network in the region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Actually, 36 missed. Only 23 made the target. Of the 36 that missed, some are known to have hit three nearby villages.

US Defense Secretary Targets Syria with Chemical Weapons Allegations

Speaking on a visit to Israel on Friday, US Defense Secretary James “Mad Dog” Mattis charged that the Syrian government has violated an agreement brokered by Moscow in 2013 by holding onto chemical weapons.

“The bottom line is there can be no doubt in the international community’s mind that Syria has retained chemical weapons in violation of its agreement and its statement that it had removed them all,” Mattis said during a press conference standing alongside his Israeli counterpart, the extreme right-wing Zionist Avigdor Lieberman.

Mattis refused to provide any estimate of what quantity of chemical weapons he believes are in Syrian hands, claiming that it would compromise intelligence sources. He charged, however, that Damascus was in violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions and warned that it would be “ill-advised to use any again. We’ve made that very clear with our first strike.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

All the various wars are back, and with a vengeance; and the American Deep State believes that they need to go very quickly into Syria; North Korea; Iran; Somalia; and parts of Iraq, and regime change them all, before Americans start thinking, rejecting the codswallop they are being force-fed by both the US government, and its corporate presstitutes to further its agenda, and start protesting in the numbers which stopped the Vietnam War.

Because that is what it will take to end this war agenda, if it is humanly possible to do so at this point.

IF Americans cannot and do not act against these wars, in the most peaceful, and logical way possible, humanity is facing a global catastrophe of Biblical proportions.

Pentagon chief in Israel to discuss Iran, Syria

US Defense Secretary General James Mattis has arrived in Israel for talks expected to focus on Iran and Syria as well the strategic relations between Tel Aviv and Washington.

Mattis arrived in Tel Aviv Thursday afternoon from Cairo on the third leg of a week-long tour of the US allies in the Middle East.

Marking the first time he has visited Israel as the Pentagon chief, Mattis was greeted by an official honor guard at army headquarters in Tel Aviv on Friday morning.

He then met the Israeli minister for military affairs, Avigdor Lieberman, and is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin.

Mattis hopes to hear directly from Israeli leaders their concerns about regional issues, with Iran’s influence topping the list.

'No doubt Syria has chemical weapons'

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the corporate presstitutes demonising Iran this last week (for what specifically, I cannot tell you, because the IAEA has stated that they are still in compliance with the P5+1 deal), I'm not surprised by Sec-Def Mattis' trip to Israel.

What I know, just as certainly as I'm sitting here typing this, is that the Israeli government will make every effort to urge Mattis to "regime change" both Iran and Syria, and just as soon as humanly possible, and with the minimal Israeli military involvement.

Because from the Israeli government's perspective, it should always be American blood and money spent to achieve Israel's geopolitical objectives in the region.

But, as I mentioned in a previous article, there's a 6,000 lb gorilla, resting comfortably on the Bosendorfer; and that 6,000 lb gorilla is... Russia.

American meddling on the ground in Syria may well push al-Assad to invite Russian ground troops into the fray; and Russian political and military leaders have consistently stressed that should Iran be attacked, that Russia would come to its aid militarily.

Sec-Def Mattis, you know what kinds of arms and training the Russians have; would you bet the future existence of the United States against this?!?

Sir, I am hoping - and praying - that the short answer here is...no.

What's Behind US, EU's Reluctance to Investigate Idlib Chemical Incident

It is hardly surprising that the US and EU policymakers turn a deaf ear to Russia and Damascus's plea to conduct a scrupulous investigation into the suspected use of the chemical weapons in Khan Shaykhun, Russian political analyst Stanislav Tarasov told Radio Sputnik, explaining why the West is uninterested in carrying out such an inquiry.

While American and European politicians remain surprisingly reluctant to the idea to investigate the suspected chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun, political analyst, and head of the Middle East-Caucasus think-tank Stanislav Tarasov suggests that "the West" is by no means interested in conducting such an inquiry.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 21, 2017: BATTLE FOR NORTHERN HAMA

On April 20, the northern Hama frontline experienced a major breakthrough when government forces, led by the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces and 5th Legion, captured the strategic militant-held town of Taibat al-Imam. Government forces had entered the town from the southeastern direction following intense artillery and air strikes and pushed members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and allied militant groups to withdraw from the town after a 8-hours long battle. After the withdrawal of the so-called opposition, pro-militant media activists released a number of contradictory reports that up to 80 “regime soldiers” were killed in the clashes. Nevertheless, with no proofs this looked like a wishful thinking. In turn, two leaders of Jaish al-Izza, “Saher al-Saleh” and “Muhammad Jallad” were confirmed to be killed as a result of the artillery strikes.

Stay out of Syria: Why warmongering is BAD for Britain, writes Ben Harris-Quinney

At the same time the White House was briefing there was no shift in Syria policy, and the US missile strike was a one-off reaction to Assad's reported use of chemical weapons. In truth, it was as much a show of strength to China and North Korea.

It was obvious to any observer that the UK Government's continuous support for foreign intervention was not chiming with the new global order, or even the US. It has not been chiming with the British public for 15 years.

The Foreign Office proposals were swiftly and embarrassingly further dismissed at the G7 meeting just two days later. Much of this will be papered over as focus shifts to the General Election, but an outdated and ill-conceived foreign policy could at any time blow up and derail both a government and the Brexit process.

The attempt by Western countries to derail Russia’s fact-finding initiative in Syria to examine the site of the chemical incident in Idlib province exposes their aim to topple the Syrian government, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

“I believe that it’s a very serious situation, because now it’s obvious that false information about the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government is being used to move away from implementing Resolution 2254, which stipulates a political settlement with the participation of all the Syrian parties, and aims to switch to the long-cherished idea of regime change,” Lavrov said, speaking at a press conference with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Astana.

Trump’s missile attack on Syria was justified with fake intelligence: experts

On April 7, President Trump committed his first “act of war,” attacking Syria with missiles in response to what he said was a poison gas attack by the Syrian government that killed dozens. But the White House’s subsequent intelligence report offering its proof of Syria’s role was “false” and “fraudulent,” suggesting a “coverup” by a president acting without any intelligence and intentionally lying to the public.

These are the characterizations of two longtime experts in war studies and missile systems, which—along with coordinated comments by Vice President Mike Pence in South Korea and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Russia that America’s “strategic patience” is ending—suggest Trump may be seeking a war of choice, even if it involves fabricated intelligence.

‘Hard to say no’: Johnson hints parliament vote against Syria invasion may be ignored at US request

British Foreign Secretary Johnson was on Tuesday briefing MPs on the situation in Syria and North Korea, when he was posed with a question by former Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Conservative MP, Alistair Burt. Burt asked what the UK government’s reaction would have been if, instead of just hitting Syria’s Shayrat airfield on April 7, Washington decided to first enlist military help from Britain.

When asked if he and the British government consider themselves to be “bound” by the past decision not to intervene in Syria and plan to reinvigorate the parliamentary debate or “if not, what might the United Kingdom be able to do to demonstrate its force and resolve,” Johnson hinted that the UK is ready to back Washington not only politically but also militarily.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So Foreign Secretary Johnson would be willing to ignore the stated will of Parliament on Syria, to please his American counterparts, who will most probably want, and ask for, British military help in Syria?!?

This is hubris, writ large.

So what happens when British troops wind up in direct military conflict with the Russian troops, which have been invited by the Syrian government to deal with the jihadists?!?

War with Russia?!?!?

Or have you actually thought it through to that point, just where military aid to the US in Syria was ultimately leading, Secretary Johnson?!?

If I could, I would want to make it a universal law that those opting for wars should consistently have their kids in the front lines, catching flack.

I honestly think that this would be a way to diminish the lust for war as "the only way" through which countries could settle their geopolitical differences.

Insane Soccer Mom Nikki Haley Paves Way for US 'Humanitarian Intervention' in Syria

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley used all her Waffle House charm to promote "humanitarian intervention" during a UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday.

Of course, as a shrewd and very insane soccer mom, Nikki Haley did not just come out and say "the US will use 'human rights violations' as a pretext to blow up countries we don't like."

U.S. Bombed a Mosque in Syria, Killing Dozens of Civilians, Investigators Conclude

As my colleague Alex Emmons reported last month, Syrian activists and first responders accused the United States of killing dozens of civilians in an airstrike that mistakenly targeted a mosque in the rebel-held village of al-Jinah on the evening of March 16.

Confronted with these claims, a Pentagon spokesman, Navy Captain Jeff Davis, told The Intercept that they were mistaken. “The area was extensively surveilled prior to the strike in order to minimize civilian casualties,” Davis said. “We deliberately did not target the mosque.”

As evidence, Davis provided an aerial photograph of the building destroyed in the attack, identified by U.S. officials as a “partially constructed community meeting hall.”

“The mosque in the left edge of the photo was not targeted,” Davis stressed in a briefing for reporters the next day. “Military officials believe dozens of al-Qaida terrorist leaders were killed in the strike.”

Russian Defense Ministry Questions Videos Of Syria Chemical Attack

The Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday cast doubt on videos by the White Helmets showing the chemical attack in Syria.

The White Helmets, or the Syria Civil Defense, is a volunteer organization that operates in parts of rebel-controlled Syria. The White Helmets receive funding from the United States, the United Kingdom and other western governments.

In a statement on Facebook, the Russian Defense Ministry said that two weeks have passed after “the alleged use of chemical weapons in Khan Sheikhoun. However, two videos made by the White Helmets are the only ‘evidence’ of the chemical weapon use.”

Within 63 hours of reports about a chemical weapons attack on the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun in the Syrian province of Idlib which killed approximately 80 people including children, on April 4, US ships in the eastern Mediterranean sent 59 Tomahawk missiles aimed at the Shayrat air base from which, the US claims, the aircraft that carried out the attack took off.

White Helmets Propaganda Troupe Show How Their Videos Are Made

The video below was originally uploaded on November 18 in the channel of the RFSMediaOffice (Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office), a propaganda organization supporting various groups fighting the Syrian state.

It depicts the "Making of" a scene where people in White Helmets outfit "rescue" a man. For some 20 seconds the two "rescuers" and the "victim" are motionless waiting for the command to start a hectic "rescue operation" and, when that starts, adds on the usual background sound of screaming people.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 20, 2017: FOREIGN POWERS TO INCREASE SUPPORT TO MILITANTS IN SYRIA

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), predominantly consisting of members of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), has created a “civilian council” to rule the Syrian city of Raqqah after its expected liberation from ISIS terrorists. The announcement took place after a meeting in the SDF-held town of Ain Issa located north of Raqqah.

These developments clearly show that foreign sponsors of various factions involved in the war are increasing their activity in Syria ahead of the expected division of spheres of influence after the collapse of ISIS.

Terrorists & rebels lured evacuees out of buses with snacks before blast – Aleppo attack witnesses

Eyewitnesses to the bomb attack on a refugee convoy near Aleppo that killed dozens of children said the militants lured people out of the vehicles with snacks before the explosion, and also stopped them from escaping the blast site.

A powerful explosion hit several buses full of people leaving militant-held towns and villages outside Aleppo last Saturday, killing over 100 people, including dozens of children, and injuring scores more.

Russia Stands Behind Assad After Syrian Chemical Weapons Attack

Russia is standing firmly behind the regime of Bashar Assad in Syria, despite growing international outrage over the latest chemical weapons attack.

Russia’s attempts to blame the gas attack on rebel weapons reportedly angered the U.N. Security Council, per the BBC. Russia claims the Syrian government did conduct airstrikes against the town of Khan Sheikhoun, but the strikes accidentally hit a compound that was producing illegal chemical weapons for the rebels.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, let's recap. Assad was winning on all fronts, including diplomatic. He had all but beaten the US-backed rebels. Peace talks were about to start that would allow him to run for re-election. Even the White House stated they were ready to accept the continued Presidency of Assad.

So, someone tell me why Assad would do the one thing that would cross a red line and reverse his fortunes, using a banned chemical weapon on civilians (instead of the rebels) in a militarily insignificant target! He has nothing to gain. It is the rebels and US warhawks who gain.

And please remember that back in 2013 and 2014, the US Government ( the same US Government who told you Saddam had nuclear weapons) claimed Assad gassed his own people, only to have the UN chemical weapons inspectors report that it was the US-backed rebels who carried out the attacks to frame Assad.

Fool me once...

The Hasty Trump Syria Attack Game – It Doesn’t Add Up

There is the bizarre fact that the alleged sarin gas bombing by the Syrian Air Force came just days after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the US President both indicated that forcing Assad out was no longer US priority, but an issue that ought to be decided by the Syrian people. With Assad’s forces having liberated large swaths of ISIS and Al Nusra terrorist areas, including Aleppo, it would make no sense for Assad to use illegal chemical weapons at this stage when he is apparently winning on all fronts including diplomatic. It would have been illogical and suicidal of Bashar al Assad. And whatever his faults, those are not among them.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – APRIL 19, 2017: IS ISIS’ BAGHDADI DETAINED?

On April 18, a number of media outlets reported that ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, may has been captured in northern Syria. The reports refered to an article appeared at the desiagency.eu website (“European Department For Security And Information”) arguing that Baghdadi was captured as a result of the joint efforts of the Syrian and Russian intelligence. Earlier this week, Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was alive and staying in Syria. Despite the media jitters conducted by the story, the report lacks details and looks questionable.

Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesman Major Adrian Rankine-Galloway told Interfax that he has no information confirming the rumors. The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on the issue.

Trump Has Killed Beautiful Babies in Four Countries

US president Donald Trump sounded sincere when he described how he felt after seeing pictures of "beautiful little babies" allegedly killed by a Syrian government chemical weapons attack on April 4.

“These heinous actions by the Assad regime cannot be tolerated," said Trump, and hours later, the US launched nearly 60 tomahawk missiles in response to the allegations.

But what about the beautiful little babies killed by US bombs since Trump became president? Is Trump not concerned about those children because they were killed by his missiles, and not Assad’s chemical weapons?

In the first three months of his presidency, Trump has dropped bombs – and killed children – in Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am rather struck by the utter cynicism and hypocrisy of the Trump Administration, which seems to collectively believe that the assassinations and deaths of some children are "...more equal than others" - particularly if those deaths can be used as "justification/propaganda" for supporting US military action against specific countries, like Syria, which did not use poison gas against its own people.

Former Department of Defense Science Adviser Debunks Claims of Syrian Chemical Attacks

By Derrick Broze

As the United States and Western allies march closer to full-scale conflict with Syria, many of their claims are now being scrutinized and dissected by a skeptical public.

On April 4, residents of the town of Khan Shaykhun suffered a chemical gas attack that reportedly killed 74 and injured 557. Despite a lack of evidence or investigation, the United States government, allied governments, and compliant media were quick to point the finger at Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. The dead stream media ignored the fact that Khan Shaykhun was under the control of Al-Nusra Front, an al-Qaeda linked group which the United States has been funding throughout the Syrian civil war. Instead, the West claimed that Assad launched an air strike which released sarin gas, leading to the deaths and injuries...

BBC: Moderate Syrian Unicorns Would NEVER Blow up Children

It must be nice to be the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Spewing toxic sludge wouldn't normally be considered a winning business model, but the BBC can rely upon the generous, involuntary contributions of millions of taxpayers to keep its river of bile flowing.

Such is the case with the BBC's creative coverage of the suicide bomb attack that turned dozens of Syrian children into charcoal.

Normal people with souls know that Salafist scumbags are responsible for this attack. Not the BBC.
