Air Force One Opts to Land at SeaTac Airport Instead of Boeing Field during Obama's Seattle Visit Today

I thought I felt a great depression in the Force.

Obama's SS is being extra cautious by landing at SeaTac instead of Boeing Field where he usually lands. Why?

Yes Boeing field is closer, but it is very easily accessible since it borders I-5. (never made sense to me from a security standpoint) However, his motorcade now has to drive from SeaTac to Seattle, which I think could be an even greater risk. If it's worth risking the drive, why not just land at secure, nearby McChord AFB and not put SeaTac in potential danger?

Either that, or they just don't want him to see 'The Jungle' as he lands.

The Assault | The Battle of Stalingrad (1 of 3)

"The Eastern Front experienced the viciousness of war on a scale of unimaginable horror and brutality. The bloodiest and most savage fighting took place in Stalingrad between August 1942 and February 1943. Stalin's city on the Volga had military significance for Hitler. It carried the name of his enemy and therefore had to be destroyed. The ensuing battle sealed the fates of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians and marked the turning point of World War II. It was the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.

Filmed from both the German and Russian perspective, the series contains footage shot by soldiers during the siege. The Russian archives opened their doors to the filmmakers, granting them exclusive access to previously unreleased material.
