The US Navy Is Dumping Billions into New Aircraft Carriers—It Could Be a Disaster

The U.S. Navy has fallen into a troubling pattern of designing and acquiring new classes of ships that would arguably best be left as single ship?—?or at most in limited numbers. It’s also building several types of new aircraft that fail to meet specifications.

The Navy is developing a new class of supercarriers that cannot function properly, and has designed them to launch F-35 fighters that are not ready to fly their missions. This is all happening during an era of out-of-control budgets, which bodes poorly for American sea power and leadership ahead.

That the Navy is concentrating larger percentages of its total force structure on large, high signature and increasingly vulnerable ships endangers America’s future.

A Force To Be Reckoned With: China And Russia Are Building Some Seriously Advanced Sea-Based Weapons

Along with the mounting tensions between the United States and China in the Pacific, and the former and Russia in the Atlantic comes a steady buildup of submarines in both respective theaters of naval combat. The Russians have been accomplishing a great deal in stealth technology, especially with Kilo-class boats converted into stealth subs. Dubbed “the black holes of the Russian Navy,” these quiet refitted diesel subs with the stealth technology are starting to roll steadily off of the assembly lines.

America’s War On Terror Is A Matrix Of Lies And Deceit

So how is your war on “terrorism” going? I’m not doing too well at it since I have no idea who the enemy is. Like the American black comedian, Dick Gregory, who, on hearing that President Johnson had declared a war on poverty, ran out onto the street with a hand grenade to throw it at some poor people, I have no idea who the real enemy is, who to throw a grenade at. That makes me think.

US PRAISES SAUDI LEADERSHIP IN SYRIA, BUT DOCS REVEAL COLLABORATION IN CREATION OF ISIS

In the wake of the Orlando massacre, the United States and Saudi Arabia are vowing to turn up the heat against terrorists and religious extremism in the Middle East. But these allies have a history of supporting the same tenets of religious extremism that lead to terrorism and repression of human rights. On June 13, U.S Secretary of State John Kerry hosted Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Kerry’s home in Washington, where the pair shared dinner. The meeting came a day after Omar Mateen killed 49 people and wounded 53 more at a LGBT nightclub in Orlando, apparently pledging allegiance to Daesh (an Arabic acronym for the terrorist group known in the West as ISIS or ISIL) during the attack.

Naked and Afraid – Government Uncut!

As usual, Justin Raimondo is insightful and accurate. He is bold and honest in a world where honesty and courage are rare. With links to primary sources, he succinctly explains the failed and failing Iraq war, and the US Syria agenda – and ties it to U.S. presidential election sloganeering.

The truth is not “out there,” it’s right here:

“[Trump gets] the largely unknown history of our intervention in Syria, where Hillary Clinton was the jihadists’ best friend and benefactor. It was she who led the charge to “liberate” Syria, to arm the “moderate” head-choppers and do to that war-torn wreck of a country what she had done to Libya.”

“Great Danger”: US-NATO Missiles Threatening Russia. Putin: “We Know and they Know that we Know…People do not Understand how Dangerous the Situation Really Is”

The main problem, according to the Russian president, is that people do not understand how potentially dangerous the situation really is. “The world is being pulled into a completely new dimension, while [Washington] pretends that nothing’s happening,” Putin said, adding that he has been trying to reach out to his counterparts, but in vain.

“They say [the missile systems] are part of their defense capability, and are not offensive, that these systems are aimed at protecting them from aggression. It’s not true,” Putin told the journalists, adding that “strategic ballistic missile defense is part of an offensive strategic capability, [and] functions in conjunction with an aggressive missile strike system.”

The “great danger” is that the same launchers that are used for defense missiles can be used to fire Tomahawks that can be installed “in a matter of hours,” Putin noted. “How do we know what’s inside those launchers? All one needs to do is reprogram [the system], which is an absolutely inconspicuous task,” he said, adding that the governments of the nations on whose territories these NATO complexes are based would have no way of knowing if this had happened.

U.S. and Russian Jets Clash Over Syria

U.S. and Russian fighter jets bloodlessly tangled in the air over Syria on June 16 as the American pilots tried and failed to stop the Russians from bombing U.S.-backed rebels in southern Syria near the border with Jordan.

The aerial close encounter underscores just how chaotic Syria’s skies have become as Russia and the U.S.-led coalition work at cross-purposes, each dropping bombs in support of separate factions in the five-year-old civil war.

The near-clash also highlights the escalating risk of American and Russian forces actually coming to blows over Syria, potentially sparking a much wider conflict between the world’s leading nuclear powers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to point out that Russia is in Syria at the express invitation of the Syrian government.

The US is not!

Putin Thinks West Supported Coup in Kiev to Justify Existence of NATO

Russian President Vladimir Putin thinks that the West supported the coup in Ukraine to justify the existence of NATO.

"After the ‘Arab Spring’ they have already moved closer to our borders. Why did they need to support the coup in Ukraine? There is a complicated internal political situation there, and the opposition that is in power today would have most likely come to power by democratic means, through elections, as well. That’s it, we would have worked with them just like we worked with the authorities before (former Ukrainian) President (Viktor) Yanukovych," Putin said on Friday at a plenary session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"No, they had to take it to the coup with victims, to cause bloodshed, civil war, to intimidate the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine’s south-east and in Crimea. What for?" he asked adding that Moscow "just had to take measures to protect certain groups of population," he continued.

INTERVENTIONISM, NOT ISLAM, IS THE PROBLEM

The terrorism problem America has been facing even before 9/11 isn’t due to Islam, Muslims, or the Koran. Instead, the anti-American terrorism problem is rooted in U.S. interventionism in the Middle East and Afghanistan, specifically the ongoing death and destruction that the U.S. military death machine has been wreaking in those parts of the world on an ongoing basis for the past 25 years.

Big Trick Hybrid Op at Orlando or just another Sandy Hoax?

Some of these events have plenty of real dead people. Some of these events are totally staged with no dead people. And some are hybrids with real dead people and staged events all rolled into one to keep everybody utterly confused!

Could it be that the KM/EH deployed a new hybrid form of false-flag, one that used both really dead victims and really stupid obvious crisis actors and staged phony victims afterwards? Could it be that they figured they could set a big trap and later release actual photos and autopsies and death certificates on some real victims?

A hybrid false-flag with both some real dead victims and some stupid looking phony crisis actors to provide the appearance that the whole op was virtual only with no dead, would serve a very big trick, if it could be sold both ways — First as a phony op to the researchers, and later as a real op to everyone by releasing real incontrovertible evidence later of actual dead victims.

SYRIA - RUSSIAN SURPRISE ATTACK BLOWS UP KERRY'S DELAYING TACTIC

The U.S. is unwilling to stop the war on Syria and to settle the case at the negotiation table. It wants a 100% of its demands fulfilled, the dissolution of the Syrian government and state and the inauguration of a U.S. proxy administration in Syria.

After nearly four month Kerry still insists that the U.S. needs even more time for the requested separation of its proxy forces from al-Qaeda. Foreign Minister Lavrov recently expressed the Russian consternation:

The Americans are now saying that they are unable to remove the 'good' opposition members from the positions held by al-Nusra Front, and that they will need another two-three months. I am under the impression that there is a game here and they may want to keep al-Nusra Front in some form and later use it to overthrow the [Assad] regime," Lavrov said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Every time the Obama administration thinks it's slightly ahead of Russia in Syria, Putin is ahead by at least 500 chess moves.

I am hoping and praying that President Obama's petulance, coupled with being precisely on the wrong side of history here, will not get us into World Ward III with Russia, although that appears to be the design objective here.

The Pentagon's controversial plan to hire military leaders off the street

Defense Secretary Ash Carter wants to open the door for more “lateral entry” into the military's upper ranks, clearing the way for lifelong civilians with vital skills and strong résumés to enter the officer corps as high as the O-6 paygrade.

The idea is controversial, to say the very least. For many in the rank-and-file military, it seems absurd, a bewildering cultural change that threatens to upend many assumptions about military life and traditional career paths. But while it's not universally embraced, there is interest in Congress and among some of the military's uniformed leaders — even, they say, in exploring how the services could apply this concept to the enlisted force.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder if such a move will not be, ultimately, replaced by a "back door draft" of people with skills in cyberwar and space, and shredding age limitations in these arenas, where the US military could definitely use the help and expertise.

Merchants of Death: Obama, Clinton run weapons to ISIS from Libya say intelligence documents

lthough the news media and Democrats believe government control of guns owned by Americans is politically necessary, what may be equally important is the investigation into the President Barack Obama-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton illegal weapons deal in Libya that helped to arm the Syrian-based Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

After the ceasefire in Syria started in late February Obama broke his pledge to separate the U.S. supported "moderate rebels" from al-Qaeda. In April U.S. supported rebels, the Taliban like Ahrar al Sham and al-Qaeda joined to attack the Syrian government in south Aleppo. The U.S.proxies broke the ceasefire. Two UN resolutions demand that al-Qaeda in Syria be fought no matter what. But the U.S. has at least twice asked Russia not to bomb al-Qaeda. It insists, falsely, that it can not separate its "moderates" from al-Qaeda and that al-Qaeda can not be attacked because that would also hit its "moderate" friends.

Trump's No Fool: Hillary's American Empire is the Real Danger

Earlier this month Hilary Clinton made a major foreign policy address in which she criticized Trump's statement in April that Japan and South Korea should have their own nuclear armaments rather relying on the US because it is costing too much money.

"I would rather have them not arm, but I'm not going to continue to lose this tremendous amount of money. And frankly, the case could be made that let them protect themselves against North Korea. They'd probably wipe them out pretty quick," Trump said.

"If they fight, you know what, that'd be a terrible thing. Terrible…. But if they do, they do."

In response, Hillary Clinton said that Trump is "not someone who should ever have the nuclear codes – because it's not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin."

In the National Interest, Eland points out that despite criticism from Clinton, Japan and South Korea, Trump's foreign policy idea actually makes more sense.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Clinton's hubristic, war-hawk stance guarantees that under her watch, if she wins/steals the election, there will be more wars, and because of them, a universal draft of both young men and women; more economic misery in the US; more outsourcing/offshoring of American jobs; and more "pay for play" by foreign governments, as demonstrated by the contributions to the Clinton Foundation.

And for the Clintonistas out there, please remember this fact; the countries in the Middle East which contributed money to this foundation all still permit female genital mutilation.

What kind of a conscience in an allegedly "pro-woman" presidential candidate would possibly permit the acceptance of money from countries which still allow this barbaric practice to continue?!?

Food for thought, ladies, and the men who love you; just... food for thought.

Tensions Between US/NATO & Russia Are Flaring Dangerously

The bottom line is this: If you're not already mentally and physically prepared for the prospect of a NATO/US war with Russia, you really should be.

Perhaps the chances of outright war are still low on a relative scale, but the costs would be catastrophically high -- making this worthy of your attention. A low risk of a catastrophic outcome is the very reason we all buy insurance – life, auto, and home. Not because we wish things to go wrong in our lives, but because they sometimes do nonetheless.

A Russian Warning

The list of aggressive provocations by NATO that have been received as belligerent acts by Russia is quite long. It stretches back several years and continues to grow rapidly, making the chance for an ‘accident’ or unplanned incident quite high.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What the US and NATO are lacking, so far, is some sort of action or incident by Russia which can be used as an excuse to declare war; so most likely, the US and NATO will have to create some kind of false flag with which to sell their respective citizens on the need for war against Russia.

But I would strongly caution both NATO and the US government; after 9/11, and understanding how and why that was used as the premise for the US government to go to war against Afghanistan and Iraq, you have a very cynical, logical public, which refuses to get manipulated into another war on a pack of lies.

And should war be declared against Russia, you can bet that there will be a very vocal,(and hopefully, peaceful) and robust protest against it; and yes, the President can suspend the Constitution and declare martial law, but it will cause world leadership to see the US government for what it is; a collection of corporately-owned warmongers, pledged to keep the 1% which profits from death and destruction, blissfully profitable, at the expense of its own citizens and the world.

And the other caution I would share with those in Foggy Bottom and beyond is the following; right now, in its current state, the US military doesn't have the money; the weaponry; the manufacturing; or the troop strength to ensure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia.

The US's weapons procurement process can only best be characterised as incestuous, and that is because the politicians who hand out the contracts have their campaigns fully supported, overtly and covertly, by the arms manufacturers who want those contracts. So the outcome here is weaponry which is defective (think the F-35), way late to the point of being obsolete when it is finally deployed, and profoundly over budget.

In consideration of all this, I would strongly urge members of Congress, the White House, the State Department, and the Pentagon, to be very, very careful about what you decide to do as your next move against Russia; the results of a war against Russia could well be both catastrophic, and irreversible, for the entire human race.

Neocons Scheme for More ‘Regime Change’

In 1985, the diplomat and historian George F. Kennan published a seminal essay in Foreign Affairs magazine in which he took on the topic of “Morality and Foreign Policy.” Objecting to the habit of American policymakers to link foreign policy objectives to specific desired outcomes within the borders of sovereign nations, Kennan struck a blow for the Westphalian interstate system which had been the cornerstone of international life since 1648. Standing against the neocon tide yelling “stop!”, Kennan decried what he called the “histrionics of moralism” that guided American policymakers into believing they were responsible – and worse still, had it in their power – to right every wrong in every corner of the globe.

The Untold Story Behind The "Mutiny At The State Department" Where Dozens Demand War With Syria

Confirming once again that the entire US Middle-East campaign over the past 4 years has been one ongoing plan to destabilize and eliminate Syria's president Bashar al-Assad from power - certainly including the involvement of ISIS which as we reported a year ago was "created" and facilitated by the Pentagon as a tool to overthrow Assad, an analysis which yesterday gained renewed prominence - overnight the WSJ reported that dozens of State Department officials this week protested against U.S. policy in Syria, signing an internal document that calls for "targeted military strikes against the Damascus government and urging regime change as the only way to defeat Islamic State."

In other words, over 50 top "diplomats" are urging to eliminate Assad in order to "defeat ISIS", the same ISIS which top US "diplomats" had unleashed previously in order to... eliminate Assad.

CIA Chief Contradicts Obama On ISIS Threat, Warns Of Intensified Terror Campaign

Less than 48 hours after President Obama reassured the nation that his strategy against ISIS is working, Obama’s CIA director told the Senate the exact opposite. ISIS is, he said, as formidable a threat as it ever was.

Obama’s remarks came after a meeting with his National Security Council, during which he spent a significant amount of time detailing all the many successes his strategy is having against the Islamic State (which Obama calls ISIL instead of ISIS), progress that he thinks is being obscured by recent terrorist attacks in the U.S. committed in the name of ISIS.

Sounds like Obama’s really on top of the situation, doesn’t it?

Except that on Thursday, CIA Director John Brennan told a far different story about ISIS.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given Obama's penchant for discarding members of his team who have a different "narrative" on what is going on, both nationally, and internationally, I am rather surprised that Brennan still has his job.

But that being said, one has to look at these issues with a great deal of logic, and ask yourself, who benefits?!?

Certainly, jihadist attacks at home or abroad do not benefit the American people at all.

But the narrative supported by US government-enabled jihadist attacks in the Middle East is supposed to make Americans believe that by US staging military attacks against these operatives, we will be safer here at home.

And yet, the US government was impotent to prevent the horrific massacre in Orlando, and what has been the primary call of politicians?!? To enact more gun control, and take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. This has all the earmarks of yet another false flag.

Let's be intelligent about this; there are people who should not have access to guns, including felons, and people on psychiatric medications.

But that being said, there were some very viable reasons why the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution was created; the founding fathers (and the women who loved them) knew all too well that a disarmed populace was an enslaved population.

We as Americans, would do well not to forget that.

The original "Contract with America" consists of the Constitution and Bill of Rights

Foreign Engagement Versus Aggression

The double standard in the media’s treatment of U.S. plans and actions (“us”) and those of our allies, on the one hand, and enemy/target plans and actions (“them”), on the other hand, applies at many levels. The United States has been intervening and fighting wars abroad almost continuously since World War II. This has involved frequent aggressions, using standard definitions of the word, with many of them extremely destructive, and with effects often not consistent with claimed objectives and very costly to U.S. taxpayers. But these cannot be designated “aggression” in our well-honed propaganda system. That word is reserved for dastardly actions such as the Russian takeover of Crimea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ignoring that small detail that Crimea voted to leave Ukraine and then voted to merge with Russia.

Documents: Image of chained, diapered detainees worried Bush

Newly declassified documents offer more details about a detainee who died inside the secret prison network the CIA operated abroad after the Sept. 11 attacks and disclose that President George W. Bush was worried about the image of shackled detainees wearing adult diapers.

Among the 50 documents released was a heavily redacted memo in which then-CIA Director Porter Goss recounts a meeting with Bush on June 7, 2006. The only sentence left to read said: "The president was concerned about the image of a detainee, chained to the ceiling, clothed in a diaper and forced to go to the bathroom on themselves."

Human rights advocates said Wednesday that this week's release of the documents — many footnoted in the 2014 Senate report on the torture of detainees — depict the human suffering associated with the CIA's enhanced interrogation program, which President Barack Obama said did significant damage to America's standing in the world.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That Bush was more worried about the damage that these images of this man might cause, rather than forbidding the acts of torture which were recorded by these images, is very much a real insight into the the utter absence of any decency or morality Bush consistently demonstrated as President.

Torturing was OK, but actually having images of the torture recorded, and ultimately seen, was the big, hairy, tacky no-no, in Bush's tortured logic.

And President Obama, if these images caused a "significant damage to America's standing in the world.", they should have!!

NO leader of the free world should NEVER, EVER torture, period, end of discussion.

There were no moral reasons, and no justifications, for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iraq was about the oil; Afghanistan, about the pipeline routes and the opium from which to make cheap, potent heroin.

Ultimately, these wars were all about corporate profit; those brave young men and women, who fought, died, and got maimed for life in these wars were simply "collateral damage", and were considered irrelevant by Bush and his minions, except to secure the financial gains they thought these wars would bring them.

Taliban Holds More of Afghanistan Now Than Any Time Since 2001

The installation of Lt. Gen. John Nicholson Jr. as the 17th commander of nearly 15 years of US-led occupation in Afghanistan provided yet another occasion for the US to take stock, this time with an eye on Nicholson’s proposals to loosen the rules of engagement for US combat troops.

That meant another accounting of just how badly the war is going, and it’s bad. After ousting the Taliban, which was Afghanistan’s government before the 2001 invasion, they’ve been slowly but surely losing ground back to them, and the Taliban now controls more territory than any time since the war began.

That reflects both the steady erosion of Afghan government territory in the south, and more rapid Taliban gains in both Helmand Province and around the city of Kunduz. The Taliban has intermittently taken Kunduz itself, a northern city which was largely rebel-controlled before the war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable!!

This is an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions, and there is utterly no military metric by which the US/NATO occupation could ever be characterised as a "success".

The bottom line here is: the situation is worse than when the invasion began in 2001, and for all the blood and money spent, only to achieve an absolute failure in Afghanistan, after 15 years, is staggering and pretty damned near incomprehensible.

IF President Obama is looking at having any sense of a "legacy" from his Presidency, he would be wise to pull the US out of Afghanistan as quickly as would be safe for our troops.

Of course, wisdom, and the current, and previous administrations, didn't have much of an on-going relationship, unfortunately...

Worried About “Stigmatizing” Cluster Bombs, House Approves More Sales to Saudi Arabia

THE HOUSE ON THURSDAY narrowly defeated a measure that would have banned the transfer of cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia, but the closeness of the vote was an indication of growing congressional opposition to the conduct of the U.S.-backed, Saudi-led bombing coalition in Yemen.

The vote was mostly along party lines, with 200 Republicans – and only 16 Democrats – heeding the Obama administration’s urging to vote against the measure. The vote was 204-216.

“The Department of Defense strongly opposes this amendment,” said Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-N.J., chairman of the House Committee on Defense Appropriations, during floor debate. “They advise us that it would stigmatize cluster munitions, which are legitimate weapons with clear military utility.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME?!?!?

This proxy war against the Houthis, abetted and enabled by the US government in Yemen has been an absolute....fluster cluck.

The Saudi government and military have never met a war crime they didn't embrace, such as killing civilian targets, women, children, and the medically fragile elderly, and bombing hospitals and schools.

And these bombs, if unexploded, and played with by kids, do a magnificent job of tearing toddlers, limb from limb.

And you had better see what this looks like. The following images are from a Syrian bombing of a rebel held city near Damascus, but the carnage these bombs create is still the same today.

image of cluster bomb destruction

And because they so resemble emergency food packages which are dropped, kids who cannot read English cannot tell the difference.

food package and unexploded bomblet

The reason these bombs should not be used, ever again, is that it is estimated that 98% of their victims are civilians, and 40% are children, as estimated at reddit.com

Should these cluster bomb munitions be "stigmatized" for the deaths and injuries they cause civilian victims?@/

HELL, yes!!

Hawks rising: Dozens of State Dept officials call for US strikes against Assad in Syria

These people are crazy!

Bucking current US policy, dozens of State Department officials have reportedly signed an internal document calling for military action and regime change in Syria, claiming it is the only way to defeat Islamic State and end the war.

The document is alleged to have expressed frustration with America’s inability to halt a civil war in Syria that has killed around half a million people and contributed to a worldwide refugee crisis.

US 'Having Hard Time' Forcing EU to Deploy Troops Near Russian Borders

The attitude of NATO countries toward the planned deployment of troops in the Baltic States is far from united. There is a fierce debate going on in the alliance, with the United States literally struggling to coerce European states to strengthen military presence in the east, German magazine Focus Online wrote.

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the recent tragedy that left 49 dead at a gay bar in Orlando. Syria Condemns German, French Military Presence in Aleppo

Syria strongly condemned the presence of French and German Special Forces in the war-hit country, after media reported the deployment of the two countries’ military forces in Northern Syria.“The Syrian government consider German and French military presence in Ain al-Arab and Manbij areas as a blatant interference, a flagrant violation of UN Charter’s principles and an overt unjustified aggression on the sovereignty and independence of Syria,” Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Syrian response comes as Russia’s Sputnik news agency on Tuesday has revealed Germany started deploying troops to the Northern part of Syria “to help the Kurdish fighters in the battle against ISIL in Aleppo province”.

The Arabic-language service of the news agency further added that the German troops have been deployed near the besieged town of Manbij.

Clinton’s National Security Strategy: Endless Wars of Aggression

Her deplorable record speaks for itself, publicly supporting all US wars of choice, naked aggression against nonbelligerent states, raping them, responsible for mass slaughter, destruction and appalling human misery.

Don’t let her deceptive rhetoric fool you. Urging escalated war on ISIS ignores its US creation along with likeminded terrorist groups – used as imperial foot soldiers.

America’s phony war on terror is a pretext for state terror, targeting sovereign independent nations worldwide, justifying homeland repression, turning planet earth into a battleground, risking its destruction.

The possibility of a Clinton presidency should terrify everyone. She deplores peace and stability, wants America leading aggressively in waging global wars – not to “defeat ISIS” or “disrupt and dismantle the growing terrorist infrastructure… around the world.”

NATO Says It Might Now Have Grounds To Attack Russia

NATO is now alleging that because Russian hackers had copied the emails on Hillary Clinton’s home computer, this action of someone in Russia taking advantage of her having privatized her U.S. State Department communications to her unsecured home computer and of such a Russian’s then snooping into the U.S. State Department business that was stored on it, might constitute a Russian attack against the United States of America, and would, if the U.S. President declares it to be a Russian invasion of the U.S., trigger NATO’s mutual-defense clause and so require all NATO nations to join with the U.S. government in going to war against Russia, if the U.S. government so decides.

Hillary Clinton’s Project For A New American Century

Here we go again. Earlier this year, some were surprised to see Project For The New American Century (PNAC) co-founder and longtime DC fixture Robert Kagan endorse former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president.

They shouldn’t have been. As is now clear from a policy paper [PDF] published last month, the neoconservatives are going all-in on Hillary Clinton being the best vessel for American power in the years ahead.

The paper, titled “Expanding American Power,” was published by the Center for a New American Security, a Democratic Party-friendly think tank co-founded and led by former Undersecretary of Defense Michèle Flournoy. Flournoy served in the Obama Administration under Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and is widely considered to be the frontrunner for the next secretary of defense, should Hillary Clinton become president.

Authoritarian Control and Mass Murder In America The Hegelian Dialectic Way

This article will demonstrate how New World Order globalists and their neocon puppets in Washington have consistently employed this repeating cycle of the Hegelian Dialectic consisting of the problem (originally called thesis), reaction (anti-thesis) and solution (synthesis) during this century’s federal governmental domestic policies. Inasmuch as US Empire virtually controls all Western nations as well as nearly all Third World nations, this insidious undemocratic process is unfolding globally on the geopolitical chessboard with the ultimate objective of establishing one world government tyranny.

NATO Says It Might Now Have Grounds To Attack Russia

On Tuesday, June 14th, NATO announced that if a NATO member country becomes the victim of a cyber attack by persons in a non-NATO country such as Russia or China, then NATO’s Article V “collective defense” provision requires each NATO member country to join that NATO member country if it decides to strike back against the attacking country. The preliminary decision for this was made two years ago after Crimea abandoned Ukraine and rejoined Russia, of which it had been a part until involuntarily transferred to Ukraine by the Soviet dictator Nikita Khrushchev in 1954. That NATO decision was made in anticipation of Ukraine’s ultimately becoming a NATO member country, which still hasn’t happened. However, only now is NATO declaring cyber war itself to be included as real “war” under the NATO Treaty’s “collective defense” provision.

Here’s why Trump’s foreign policy terrifies neocons

Most of my former colleagues at the State Department will be appalled by the assertion, but much of the media-fed angst about Donald Trump’s dearth of foreign policy expertise is contrived.

Our cadre of neoconservative foreign policy experts, unhumbled after marching us into a reckless war in Iraq and a poorly conceived one in Afghanistan, who applauded as we bombed Libya and bitterly resent our having failed to bomb Bashar al-Assad in Syria, are frightened. Wisely, they often focus on comments that Trump has made on issues that are of less genuine interest to them — from his strident stance on immigration to his “threat” to our liberties to his sometimes deplorable commentary about women and some minorities. But what really troubles them is his generally level-headed and unmessianic attitude toward foreign affairs. Trump has no desire to make the rest of the world in our image; he is concerned only about the world not making America in its image.

CYPRUS OFFICIALS IN STEALTH TALKS WITH VICTORIA NULAND ON TURKISH TROOP PLAN

Thousands protest against drones at U.S. Air Force base in Germany

Several thousand demonstrators formed a human chain along the perimeter of a U.S. Air Force Base in southwest Germany on Saturday in protest against drone operations by the United States.

The demonstration was organized by the alliance "Stop Ramstein - No Drone War", which says the Ramstein base transmits information between operators in the United States and unmanned drone aircraft in places such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Syria.

Police estimated 3-4,000 people had formed the chain close to the base, which serves as the headquarters for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe. Organizers spoke of 5-7,000 people. No comment was available on Saturday from officials at Ramstein.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bless you, peaceful German protesters!! Way to go.

And I have to wonder; how deeply has the use of drone warfare so become the "new normal" for Americans over the past 15 years, that they are not protesting this insanity?!?

The concept of due process was firmly embedded in American jurisprudence, before the Bush/Bama era. But now, people in foreign countries (and probably, soon, right here at home)can be extrajudicially assassinated, just because the President believes he is "legally justified" in doing so.

President Obama, an alleged "expert" (and lecturer) on Constitutional Law, appears to believe that he can throw due process out the window in these cases, and that is more than a little scary as a precedent.

The realities here are that the US government doesn't know, really, who these drone strikes are hitting, which creates more collateral damage, which creates more jihadists.

It is a marvelous mechanism for creating endless wars.

And how far away are we from extrajudicial assassinations here at home?!? My friends, they have already happened, and are an historical realty for this country; a reality which, I am afraid, may well get worse before it gets better.

5 REASONS TO QUESTION THE OFFICIAL STORY OF THE ORLANDO SHOOTING

FBI Foreknowledge, ISIS Sympathies, Taliban Ties

What may at first sound like an instance of senseless violence, brings with it a number of other questions. For instance, the FBI was already well aware of Mateen and his connections to radical jihad and terrorism. According to CNN’s article, “50 Killed in Florida Nightclub, Shooter Pledged ISIS Allegiance,” two officials tell CNN that the FBI had investigated Mateen at some point for possibly having ties to or sympathizing with Islamic extremism. A law enforcement official said there were two cases opened involving Mateen but the probes didn’t result in enough evidence to charge him with anything.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To the LGBT community in Orlando and beyond: you are all absolutely in my prayers, and this massacre should never have been allowed to happen, period, end of discussion.

And the FBI?!? It should now be known as the Federal Bureau of Idiocy; the Federal Bureau of Intimidation; the Federal Bureau of Incompetency; or the Federal Bureau of Impotence.

Take your pick.

Functioning intelligence agencies, which actually CAN protect the people of their respective countries around the world, are collectively shaking their heads on this.

Please note that this agency, and this entire government, under President Obama's watch, couldn't (or wouldn't) protect you from this act of terror, even though the FBI had interviewed this guy several times.

And remember; so-called "gun free zones" create soft targets for bad guys to hit.

Just look at Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Chicago, also an allegedly "gun-free zone". As reported this morning by chicago.cbslocal.com this morning on last weekend's gun violence:

Seven people were killed and at least 35 others — including a 5-year-old girl — were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday night and Monday morning.

So, after the horrific numbness starts to lift; after the last memorial services are done to commemorate the fallen; after the last candles go out; and and after the last flowers are placed in loving memory of those whose lives got snuffed out, you, and we, need to delve deep into some kick-ass logic....

And there are a couple of terribly uncomfortable questions you have to ask yourself, when something like this happens in this country and beyond: who benefits from this tragedy, and how are they going to spin this?!?!?

Of course, there will be a demand for more stringent gun control in this country, but that never, ever affects the bad people, who are going to use guns to get what they want anyway.

The US/NATO occupation of Afghanistan has gone from bad to worse; will this be used as the "justification" for yet more US blood and money spent in this hubristic war of conquest, which has gone so horribly badly?!?

Right now, I would not bet against this; but only time will tell.

But in the meanwhile, to the members of the LGBT community in Orlando and beyond: I would strongly caution you to choose not to continue to be potential victims.

The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution was written into the Bill of Rights by people who understood the evil and misery which could be caused by governmental overreach, and the need for a population to be able to protect itself against that, or the evil madness of someone coming to hurt you, or people you care about, as happened in in Orlando.

Buy a licensed firearm, and get trained in how to use it effectively and responsibly.

Because let's be clear here; one person, with a concealed carry permit, could have prevented the scope of damage which happened here in a heartbeat; far fewer would have been killed, or injured.

Through this incident, United States Government has demonstrated, beyond a reasonable doubt, that it is completely incapable of protecting you.
