Trump Hammers On Brexit, “Independence Day” And Repudiation Of Rule By The Global Elite

One thing is clear, whether or not everyone will agree with what is said, Trump is at least speaking more directly than most politicians do

It turned out that Trump wasted no time in making sure that the people of America understood that what had been done in the UK can be done in the United States.

Globalists and Neocons Prove Incapable of Understanding Reality

If Trump wants to put America first, he needs to start firing the Neoconservatives and their lackeys from the White House and putting them on trial for making Americans look really bad.

Rather than listening and learning and modifying their actions, the ruling elites stick to “more of the same.” This process clearly emblematized by the endless procession of Bushes and Clintons replacing each other in the positions of power.

China says wants peace after newspaper warns on South China Sea clash

China's government sought to downplay fears of conflict in the South China Sea after an influential state-run newspaper said on Tuesday that Beijing should prepare for military confrontation in the area.

The joint editorials in the Chinese and English editions of the Global Times were published as tension mounted ahead of a July 12 ruling by an international court hearing competing claims of China and the Philippines in the South China Sea.

The newspaper said the dispute had already been complicated by U.S. intervention and now faced further escalation due to the threat posed by the tribunal to China's sovereignty.

"Washington has deployed two carrier battle groups around the South China Sea, and it wants to send a signal by flexing its muscles: As the biggest powerhouse in the region, it awaits China's obedience," the Global Times said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is is the US government, desperately attempting to goad China into military action, which is the ultimate culprit here.

And the reason?!? To prevent the rise in popularity of the Chinese currency, some of which is now gold-backed, and not convertible into US dollars.

These actions by the US military are counterproductive to a reasonable, lasting peace in the area.

Just because something is the most pig-headedly ham-fistedly stupid thing the US government can do, in a geopolitical confrontation, is absolutely no guarantee that it won't do it.

For Obama’s Secret Wars, the Record Suggests a Far Worse Reality

Targeted killings or assassinations beyond the battlefield remain a highly charged subject. Most controversial of all is the number of civilians killed in US covert and clandestine drone strikes since 2002.

When President Obama apologised for the accidental 2015 killing of US aid worker Warren Weinstein, he revealed that the US had kept the target building under surveillance for “hundreds of hours” – yet had never known there were civilians inside. Many of the women and children credibly reported killed by the CIA in Pakistan have died in similar circumstances – though few of their deaths have ever been conceded.

Then there have been the more shocking tactics employed by the CIA. There was the deliberate targeting of funerals and rescuers, again first revealed by the Bureau. And the widespread use of so-called signature strikes during the Obama years – the targeting of suspects based not on their known identities, but on their behavioural patterns.

Webmaster's Commentary:

NO public US agency has the right to lie to either the American people or the world, in terms of the real scope and breadth of these numbers; and if the American people do not, peacefully, protest extrajudicial assassinations abroad out of existence, we may well see "justifications" for practicing the process at home right here in this country.

And one has to speculate; are the perpetual extrajudicial assassinations creating perpetual war from which the US government and military will never be able extricate themselves, and is this, possibly, the goal?!?

As reported at globalresearch.com today:

It was revealed by the Intercept through leaked US government documents that civilians may account for as much as 90% of all casualties from drone strikes. In its first article in a long series detailing America’s drone operations titled, “The Assassination Complex,” it reports: …documents detailing a special operations campaign in northeastern Afghanistan, Operation Haymaker, show that between January 2012 and February 2013, U.S. special operations airstrikes killed more than 200 people. Of those, only 35 were the intended targets. During one five-month period of the operation, according to the documents, nearly 90 percent of the people killed in airstrikes were not the intended targets. In Yemen and Somalia, where the U.S. has far more limited intelligence capabilities to confirm the people killed are the intended targets, the equivalent ratios may well be much worse. And upon viewing the leaked Operation Haymaker documents, it becomes clear that America’s drone operations in Afghanistan have admittedly very little tactical value in eliminating specific “terrorists,” and the actual “benefits” noted amid these operations is instead the perpetuation of terror, fear and sociopolitical division in targeted areas, including among civilian populations. Considering these noted “benefits,” high civilian casualty rates of up to 90% makes sense. If the goal is to simply instill fear, it doesn’t matter who dies, just as long as someone does. First Priority: Smashing Resistance, Not Stopping Terrorists It should be remembered that nations like Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan are home to fiercely independent networks of localized tribes. These tribes, particularly in Yemen or Afghanistan, refuse to recognize the authority of US-installed client governments and their existence not only undermines central government authority, they pose a direct threat to its continued existence. This helps explain another aspect of America’s drone operations that have left the general public occasionally outraged but mostly confused. That is, the propensity of drones striking weddings. In Western culture, weddings are generally a family affair with little to do with the actual community they take place in. In traditional cultures like Yemen and Afghanistan, weddings are a central community affair. Beyond just friends and family, everyone from the community participates, with various local religious, educational, political and even military leaders attending or even presiding over the event. It is difficult to believe that drone operators would target a wedding even if a specific, high value terrorist target was present, understanding the full scope of collateral damage that would occur. In fact, in a 2013 speech at the National Defense University, US President Barack Obama would explicitly claim: And before any strike is taken, there must be near-certainty that no civilians will be killed or injured — the highest standard we can set. Considering this, it is likely such operations, certain to incur civilian deaths, are instead approved of for the specific purpose of obliterating the very source of a targeted community’s strength and independence, leaving local people reeling, leaderless and at the mercy of the central government Washington has installed into power. In other words, the US is not necessarily “hunting terrorists,” it is eliminating resistance to the political order it is attempting to reach into targeted nations with.

This is your government, gone completely mad, acting in your name and with your tax dollars, and completely unaccountable to We the People.

Putin Deploys Russian Aircraft Carrier To Syria In Retaliation To US Naval Build Up In Mediterreanean

The implication from this escalation was clear, and this is how we concluded less than a month ago:

"while the US may be hoping to "check" the Russians, all this action which will be seen as the latest provocation by the Kremlin will do is further strain already chilly relations between Russia and the US.... We expect Russia to respond by promptly deploying warships of its own to the Mediterranean in a repeat of the summer of 2013 when the beach off the Syrian coast was a parking lot of Russian, US, European and even Chinese warships."

CANADA TO SEND 1,000 TROOPS TO E. EUROPE TO BOOST NATO PRESENCE AT RUSSIA'S DOORSTEP

In last week’s speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russian will adopt adequate measures to counter NATO's aggression. Putin also called for creation of an international security system open to all countries.

"Russia is ready to discuss this extremely important issue," he said, adding that such proposals have been so far left unanswered by Western countries.

At the upcoming Warsaw summit in July, NATO leaders are expected to green-light deployment of four battalions of up to 800 troops each to the Baltic States and Poland, along with intensifying the scale and pace of multinational military exercises. Recent live-fire drills, Anakonda 2016, Saber Strike and BALTOPS, involved thousands of troops and hundreds of combat vehicles to simulate large-scale operations in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is, at this point, not a question of IF NATO is going to wage a war against Russia, but WHEN.

You don't have the kind of continuous troop and equipment escalation on Russia's borders unless you mean to use it.

Jeremy Corbyn Labour coup designed to stop him 'calling for Tony Blair's head' after Chilcot report, says Alex Salmond

Alex Salmond has appeared to suggest the internal Labour party coup against Jeremy Corbyn is connected with the publication of the long-awaited Chilcot report into the Iraq war.

His comments come just three days before the publication of the inquiry into the 2003 Iraq war. Earlier reports have suggested Mr Blair, the former Prime Minister, and his contemporaries will be savaged in an “absolutely brutal” verdict.

In an article for the Herald, the former Scottish First Minister wrote: “It would be a mistake to believe that Chilcot and current events are entirely unconnected. The link is through the Labour Party”

Jul 05 08:33

PETER OBORNE: If Chilcot fails to nail Blair's lies, it's final proof our democracy is broken

According to advance leaks, Sir John will apportion the blame very widely with several dozen ministers, officials and military figures coming in for criticism.

These same reports also suggest a great deal of the report will concentrate on mistakes made during the occupation of Iraq rather than the decision to go to war in the first place.

If these leaks are true, they suggest that Sir John’s report, like the whitewashed reports that have already been published, will lack focus.

There are in truth only a handful of crucial points it should address. Did Tony Blair lie in order to make the case for war? Was the war legal?

Did the war — as Tony Blair promised it would — make Britain a safer place?

Webmaster's Commentary:

FBI Director Comey beat Chilcot to the punch in proving our Democratic system is broken.

Russia May Test-Fire Its Most Powerful Ballistic Missile Sarmat Near Hawaii

FIXED LINK! Sorry!

Good luck Mike and Claire!

In this case, our military must fire from the north to the area near the Hawaiian Islands. The test is difficult, but it is necessary,” Esin explained.

Canada’s Foreign Policy: “Copy and Paste” of Washington’s War Crimes Agenda

Canada’s warmongering Defence Minister, Harjit Sajjan, recently announced an increased Canadian presence in NATO, predicated on the narrative that Russia “annexed the Crimean Peninsula in Ukraine and backed pro-Russian separatist forces in that country’s eastern region.”

Presumably his “Assad must go” narrative about Syria is wearing thin. After all, NATO member Turkey is a training ground for ISIS, a transit point for terrorists entering Syria, and, like the Canadian government, all of NATO, the Gulf monarchies, Wahhabi Saudi Arabia, and apartheid Israel, a staunch supporter of the terrorists; plus, it has also been long established that there are no “moderates.”

Presumably, too, Sajjan needs to rebrand and recycle the “threat” narrative, and the “NATO are the good guys” meme, so he is now reintroducing Russia as a threat.

The war on terrorism is in fact the American war against the World

So how is your war on "terrorism" going? I'm not doing too well at it since I have no idea who the enemy is. Like the American black comedian, Dick Gregory, who, on hearing that President Johnson had declared a war on poverty, ran out onto the street with a hand grenade to throw it at some poor people, I have no idea who the real enemy is, who to throw a grenade at. That makes me think.

IN TRANSPARENT ACT, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ERASES CIVILIAN DEATHS FROM DRONE STRIKES

President Barack Obama’s administration claims 64 to 116 “non-combatants” have been killed by CIA or United States military drone strikes. The number is preposterously low, and the best evidence yet of how the government propagandizes the public into believing drones are “precise” and rarely kill anyone but targeted “terrorists.”

The casualty counts, along with an executive order on “pre- and post-strike policies,” were released right before Fourth of July weekend, a clear act aimed at ensuring the least amount of attention was given to the administration’s latest effort to conceal the truth of who is killed by targeted assassinations.

A “summary of information” released by the Director for National Intelligence (DNI) maintains 473 strikes “against terrorist targets outside areas of active hostilities.” It states somewhere between 2,372 and 2,581 “combatants” were killed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem with the drone strikes is that it inspires others to join jihadist groups, and take deadly actions against Americans or American interests, so one has to wonder; is this the way in which the White House hopes to keep this country at perpetual war?!?

And the fact that the White House lied to the American people, and the world, about these numbers, is the new normal for this administration; one can no longer believe anything anyone attached to it says, ever.

Ex-President of Poland Calls on US to Shoot Down Russian Jets

Former president of Poland Lech Walesa said that US Navy should have shot down Russian Su-24 fighters that came within 30 feet of the missile destroyer Donald Cook in the Baltic sea in order to identify the ship.

According to Walesa, such actions on the part of Russia cannot be tolerated.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, Lech, if you really feel that way ... Here's your rifle. Here's your parachute. We ran out of the camouflage BDUs so here is a bright da-glo jumpsuit left over from the CIA torture centers. Watch your head climbing into that transport aircraft, and we will call Putin and tell him you are on your way to kick his butt all by yourself!

But...

The Russians have every right to be curious when warships are cruising just outside their borders. It's not like the Russians overflew the USS Donald in the Gulf of Mexico, and the Black Sea is international waters. Russia has as much right to be there as the US, in fact even more so under the Montreaux Convention! The US and Europe are massing forces at Russia's border, and now we have those leaked emails in which the former head of NATO tried to start a war with Russia. Yet the official story remains that this is all somehow Russia's fault; that Russia is the aggressor.

Breedlove’s war: Emails show ex-NATO general plotting US conflict with Russia

Hacked private emails of the US general formerly in charge of NATO reveal a campaign to pressure the White House into escalating the conflict with Russia over Ukraine, involving several influential players in Washington.

The emails, posted by the site DCLeaks, show correspondence between General Philip M. Breedlove, former head of the US European Command and supreme commander of NATO forces, with several establishment insiders concerning the situation in Ukraine following the February 2014 coup that ousted the elected government in favor of a US-backed regime.

Breedlove served as the NATO Supreme Commander between May 2013 and March 2016. His personal email incorporated his Air Force call sign “Bwana” – a Swahili word for “boss.”

General David Shoup

After Kennedy was murdered they got rid of General Shoup. One of the greatest US Marines in the history of the Corps.

It has been said that "Old men start wars and young men fight them." To the extent that foreign policies are developed by politicians and then enforced by men and women of the military this is certainly true.

Such dissent is not specific to the young; in every war a small minority in older generations has risen in opposition to war as well.

One hundred years ago today—on July 1, 1916—thousands of young men died after older men decided, again, to send them to war. On the first day of the Battle of the Somme, the British army suffered 57,470 casualties, of which 19,240 were deaths, the French had 1,590 casualties, and the Germans had over 10,000. It was the single greatest day for casualties in British military history. By the time the Battle of the Somme ended in November, the British had around 420,000 casualties, the French about 200,000, and the Germans about 500,000.

US And Iceland Sign Joint Defence Agreement

e US Department of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have signed an agreement regarding the continued American military presence in Iceland.

The agreement, posted on the official site of Iceland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirms a number of existing points regarding joint efforts between the US and Iceland to defend the island nation that were established in the 1951 Defence Agreement and the 2006 Joint Understanding. MURDER BY DRONE: OBAMA TO ANNOUNCE CIVILIAN DEATH TOLL NUMBERS, BUT THERE'S A CATCH

President Barack Obama is expected to announce the number of civilians killed by "illegal" US drone strikes Friday, but only in countries where the world's biggest military hasn't officially declared war.

Several news outlets reported, citing leaks from US officials, that the number is expected to be just 100, a tiny fraction of those estimated by investigative journalists and human rights groups who track the "violations of international law."

The White House will only reveal civilian casualties in countries that are technically not at a US battlefield, like Libya, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen.

Those killed by US drone strikes in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria will not be featured in the total. The US has deployed thousands of drones in these countries.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is somewhat akin to touching up an x-ray when someone has cancer, and making it appear, cosmetically, as "not that big a deal."

But ALL extrajudicial assassinations ARE...a big deal, and have absolutely no place in American jurisprudence, period, end of discussion.

And the only thing these murders do is create a willingness in more people to commit jihad against Americans, or American interests; or has that been the plan all along, in order to groom Americans for perpetual war?!?

This totally out-of-control government has lost its ability to rationally, reasonably negotiate in good faith and create win/win treaties. When a kid has a hammer, everything becomes a nail, to be hammered; but instead of a hammer, what the US government has are drone planes, which drop bombs, and murder, with absolutely zero due process.

I won't even bother reading the report; everything this administration says is a complete, utter lie, and this will be no different.

Brexit is a game-changing event. Now Euro-sceptics all over Europe has got fresh wind in their sails.

Few people expected the positive outcome of Brexit referendum. Among other doubters, I expected the UK government will borrow a trick from the Clinton collection, and proclaim the "Bremain" hath it.

The political establishment of both leading parties, the Tories and Labour, wished to remain in the cosy lap of the EC. This was the will of the Bank of England, and of the City of London; of the powerful media lords, of the creative minority of yuppies, of cosmopolitan intellectuals.

Neither oil nor currency issues were discussed at the SASC hearing, where Lt. Gen. Waldhauser assured South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham that he would expand the so-called War on Terror in Africa and seek the authority to assassinate without presidential approval:

“The Black Budget.” This Is What The ‘Secret Government’ Doesn’t Want You To Know

Countless amounts of academics, presidents and other politicians have told humanity that a secret government is really pulling the strings when it comes to who holds the balance of power on our planet. Multiple studies have emerged showing that a very small group of people and the corporations they run basically have control over all of the worlds resources. According to the estimates of some, the US government alone classifies up to 500 million pages of documents every single year, for the purpose of protecting ‘national security.’ Our world is drenched in secrecy, and it’s reached a point where we don’t really know what’s happening on our planet. Our main source of information is corporate media, this is a big problem

US NAVY IS DEVELOPING ‘SUPERSONIC SUBMARINES’ THAT COULD CUT THROUGH THE OCEAN AT THE SPEED OF SOUND USING A BUBBLE

As swimmers know, moving cleanly through the water can be a problem due o the huge amounts of drag created – and for submarines, this is even more of a problem. However, US Navy funded researchers say they have a simple solution – a bubble. Researchers at Penn State Applied Research Laboratory are developing a new system using a technique called supercavitation.

Gowdy warns Dems looking to spin Benghazi report: 'Read it for yourself'

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy claims his Democratic colleagues will be "shocked" if they choose to read an 800-page report about the 2012 terrorist attacks in Libya released Tuesday by the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

"We mention Sec. [Hillary] Clinton's name less times than the Democrats do despite the fact that our report is twice as long," Gowdy, chairman of the committee, told MSNBC. In a separate report released Monday, Democratic members of the committee described Gowdy as an "overzealous prosecutor desperately trying to land a front-page conviction."

Gowdy dismissed that portrayal on Tuesday morning. "I would ask you and all my fellow citizens, put aside what the Democrats say the report's going to be like — it's actually out."

"Read it for yourself and read all of the new information that we found and what our focus is on," he said. "It is not on one person it is on four people whose political affiliations I have no idea what they are."

US Ambassador to Hungary: Overthrow Assad, Let in Refugees, and Fight Russia...or Else!

If anyone wants a short course on what's wrong with US diplomacy look no further than US Ambassador to Hungary Coleen Bell's speech Friday to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian Parliament. In typical diplo-speak there was plenty of flowery language about shared values, fish swimming together in the same water (?), sappy poetics like "together, out of that winter, we would force the spring," and talk of together being "part of the world’s greatest military and political alliance."

But make no mistake: Inside Ambassador Bell's velvet glove is an iron fist, poised to strike should Washington's annoyingly independent-minded Fidesz-led government step out of line on the big issues. And by "big" issues it should be understood that the US means the issues it considers in the interests of its own foreign policy, not those in Hungary's interest.

Message to Hungary: do as we say or you will be sorry.

NATO And ‘News’ Media Pump For WW III — Nuclear War

America’s announcement that Russia has committed ‘aggression’ against America, is an announcement that America is at war against Russia; and here is how America’s ‘news’ media have said that it’s the case — that Russia has aggressed — even as the U.S. government is still only preparing to attack Russia, and isn’t yet ready actually to invade that country.

US-NATO Prepares for War against Russia. Washington’s Objective: Create Divisions between Europe and Russia

NATO has increased its presence in Eastern Europe 13 times for the latest years. In order to stop Russia’s revival, the US unwinds military conflicts plots at every possible way.

Colonel General Leonid Ivashov, President of the International Centre of Geopolitical Analysis explained in an interview to KP, that ‘if data on Russia-NATO power balance at the Western direction is analyzed, as well as military activity build-up rate at our borders, scale of combat equipment deployment, if the grade of Russia’s demonization is estimated, one can say that preparation to a real war is taking place. As such acts are usually undertaken at the forefront of a war.’

Webmaster's Commentary:

What we are talking about, in that last paragraph, is the creation of a "false flag operation", in which huge numbers are hurt, and much of the landscape where the attacks have happened has been been burnt to cinders, to blame on Russia as the "justification" for going to war against it.

I would very strongly caution those residents of "foggy bottom" who believe that this, under any circumstance would be a "good idea", that such a war would create complete, global devastation.

And I say this, because at this point in time, the US military doesn't have the weaponry, the money, the troop strength, or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia; so, most likely, such a war will go nuclear.

Please, to our leadership in the White House, Congress, State Department, and Pentagon: be careful what you wish for; the outcome of such a war could be both catastrophic....and irreversible.

United States Bombings of Other Countries. America’s “Bombing List”

There appears to be something about launching bombs or missiles from afar onto cities and people that appeals to American military and political leaders. In part it has to do with a conscious desire to not risk American lives in ground combat. And in part, perhaps not entirely conscious, it has to do with not wishing to look upon the gory remains of the victims, allowing American GIs and TV viewers at home to cling to their warm fuzzy feelings about themselves, their government, and their marvelous “family values”. Washington officials are careful to distinguish between the explosives the US drops from the sky and “weapons of mass destruction” (WMD), which only the officially-designated enemies (ODE) are depraved enough to use.

The US government speaks sternly of WMD, defining them as nuclear, chemical and biological in nature, and “indiscriminate” (meaning their use can’t be limited to military objectives), as opposed to the likes of American “precision” cruise missiles.

Bikini Islanders Still Deal with Fallout of US Nuclear Tests, 70 Years Later

By Timothy J. Jorgensen, Georgetown University

In 1946, French fashion designer Jacques Heim released a woman’s swimsuit he called the “Atome” (French for “atom”) – a name selected to suggest its design would be as shocking to people that summer as the atomic bombings of Japan had been the summer before.

Not to be outdone, competitor Louis Réard raised the stakes, quickly releasing an even more skimpy swimsuit. The Vatican found Réard’s swimsuit more than shocking, declaring it to actually be “sinful.” So what did Réard consider an appropriate name for his creation? He called it the “Bikini” – a name meant to shock people even more than “Atome.” But why was this name so shocking?
