Trump denies collusion with Russia but says he 'speaks for himself'

Donald Trump denied any collusion with Russia in the 2016 election but said on Thursday he spoke “for myself”, leaving open for the first time the possibility that some of his staff may have been involved.

The president claimed he was the target of the “greatest witch hunt” in US political history and complained that the campaign against him was dividing the country. But asked about the justice department decision to appoint a special counsel, Robert Mueller, to investigate contacts between his campaign and Russia, Trump appeared to shift his position from previous blanket denials.

Senate Democrats reject Lieberman for FBI director

President Donald Trump may be dramatically miscalculating how much support Sen. Joe Lieberman would have among his former Democratic colleagues if nominated to become FBI director.

Some Senate Democrats hold a grudge against Lieberman for his rightward turn and opposition to some of President Barack Obama's agenda late in his Senate career. Others say even though they respect Lieberman, the job of FBI director should not go to a former politician. And all Democratic senators interviewed for this story said the former Connecticut senator lacks the kind of experience needed for the post.

Lauder vs. Adelson: Which Jewish billionaire has Trump’s ear on Israel?

Who does the first billionaire president go to when he wants real-deal advice? Other billionaires, naturally.

Much has been made of how President Donald Trump has stacked his Cabinet with billionaires, and how he takes off-campus advice from investor Carl Icahn, fellow real estate developer Tom Barrack and media moguls Christopher Ruddy and Rupert Murdoch.

The same goes for his Israel advice: Trump, according to reports, takes calls on the issue from Sheldon Adelson, the casino magnate, and Ronald Lauder, the cosmetics heir and the president of the World Jewish Congress. Both are major supporters of Jewish and pro-Israel causes.

The wrinkle is that Adelson and Lauder seem to be at odds on what they’re telling the president. Lauder, reportedly, is pressing Trump to court Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Adelson, reportedly, wants him to focus on moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem and discounts the Palestinians as reliable peace partners.

SYRIAN WAR REPORT – MAY 19, 2017: US-LED FORCES FIGHTS WITH SYRIAN ARMY FOR IRAQI BORDER

Warplanes operating under the US-led coalition carried out airstrikes against a Syrian Arab Army (SAA) convoy advancing along the Al-Tanf-Damascus-Baghdad international road. The airstrikes targeted Syrian forces in Al-Shuhaimi area, 50 km from the town of Al-Tanf located at the Syrian-Iraqi border.

The airstrikes destroyed two battle tanks, and damaged a Shilka vehicle, several pickups and trucks. Six SAA fighters lost their life and 3 were injured.

The US-led coalition said that the airstrikes were “warning shots” against Shiite militias. However, Shiite militias operation at the Al-Tanf road don’t have tanks or Shilka vehicles and there were many pictures and videos showing the presence of elements of the SAA in the area.

The US airstrikes on government forces are a clear signal that Washington are seeking prevent the Syrian government from taking control over the border and to build a buffer zone between Syria and Iraq that could establish an alliance in the near future.

Slow-Motion Plot to Dump Trump

Dark forces in Washington want him removed, things headed toward replacing him with Pence, a deep state puppet he erred in appointing as vice president. GHW Bush was smarter, choosing political lightweight Dan Quale, unqualified for any public position.

Trump’s hold on the presidency is shaky. On Thursday, he tweeted “(w)ith all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special counsel appointed!”

“This is the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!”

Long knives wanting him ousted may succeed, removing him from office by assassination the way Jack Kennedy was eliminated, resignation forced on Nixon for the wrong reasons, or a first-time in US history impeachment and conviction, ending his presidency.

New Chinese Military Base in Africa Presents Security Concerns for US

China’s first non-domestic military outpost is slated to be finished by the end of the summer, according to Marine General Thomas Waldhauser, who said the base presents security concerns to the US.

The 90-acre naval base is located a mere four miles from the headquarters of US African Command, Camp Lemonnier, in Djibouti, where some 3,000 to 4,000 US personnel are stationed at any given time.

Under Waldhauser’s watch, the US hopes to keep tabs on what China does and does not do at the new base. Waldhauser recently requested an audience with Djibouti President Ismail Omar, to whom he "expressed [US] concerns about some of the things that are important to us about what the Chinese should not do at that location."

If you watch as much TV news as I do, and read a few national newspapers, it becomes evident that there is a "game plan."

Russia condemns America’s attack on Syrian and allied forces

Russia has responded to yesterday’s illegal US coalition airstrike by condemning it in the harshest terms.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov issued the following statement,

“Any military actions leading to the aggravation of the situation in Syria definitely affect the political process. Especially if such actions are committed against the Syrian armed forces… This is totally unacceptable; it is a violation of Syrian sovereignty. Of course, it does not help the political process”.

Joe Lieberman and the Three Amigos

"Charles Freeman Jr.’s withdrawal of his acceptance of a high-level intelligence position in the Obama administration was a national-security drama more riveting than an episode of “24.” The moral was clear: even a president who owes his job to a progressive movement in American politics could not support a longtime public servant who had made the mistake of criticizing Israel. Fierce advocates of the Jewish state, notably Sens. Chuck Schumer and Joe Lieberman and Reps. Eric Cantor and Steve Israel, played important roles in Freeman’s exit, while present and former officials of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee flitted in and out of the wings.

Closing the ‘Collapse Gap’: the USSR Was Better Prepared for Collapse Than the U.S.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am not an expert or a scholar or an activist. I am more of an eye-witness. I watched the Soviet Union collapse, and I have tried to put my observations into a concise message. I will leave it up to you to decide just how urgent a message it is.

My talk tonight is about the lack of collapse-preparedness here in the United States. I will compare it with the situation in the Soviet Union, prior to its collapse. The rhetorical device I am going to use is the “Collapse Gap” – to go along with the Nuclear Gap, and the Space Gap, and various other superpower gaps that were fashionable during the Cold War.

Thousands of Hezbollah Forces Deployed in Al-Tanf to Foil US Plot in Syria

The US is now trying to carve out southern Syria which is why the US is bombing the Syrian Armored Divisions. Here we go.

Hezbollah has deployed 3,000 forces in al-Tanf region to participate in Badiyeh operations in Syria. Most of the forces had earlier been stationed in al-Zabadani, Madhaya and Sarqaya regions as well as the Western parts of the town of al-Tofail and Brital, Ham and Ma'araboun heights in the Eastern mountain.

Other units, including the Syrian army allies, have also been sent to this front to block the way to the US-backed forces.

A well-informed military source said on Wednesday that the Syrian army forces will not allow the US and its western or regional allies to create a buffer zone in the Southern part of the country as a safe heaven for militants' activities.

The Buttinski Should Butt Out of Korea

Korea is none of the U.S. government’s business. The only proper course of action is for the Pentagon and the CIA to exit the country and bring those 23,000 American soldiers stationed in Korea home. No negotiations. No agreements. No talks. Just butt out of what is none of your business and exit the scene by coming home.

Why are there 23,000 U.S. troops in Korea? It’s because the U.S. government, headed by President Harry S. Truman and his newly established national-security establishment, decided to intervene in another country’s civil war more than half-a-century ago.

That’s right — a civil war. That’s all it was.

Well the story is that the diplomats stationed at the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem refused to hold talks with Israeli officials about arrangements for U.S. President Donald Trump’s planned visit to the Western Wall during his trip to Israel next week. The diplomats claimed that the site is in the West Bank, and therefore the Israeli government has no authority over it, as Haaretz noted.

Oh boy, you can imagine what a storm that was. The Israeli officials found the position simply “unacceptable”, and the Israeli Prime Minister Office was “astonished”. Israel quickly demanded an explanation from the White House, which hastened to say that

“These comments, if true, were not authorized by the White House. They do not reflect the U.S. position, and certainly not the President’s position.”

The Assault on Trump

We are witnessing an assault by the national security state and its liberal media on a President of the United States that is unprecedented.

Wild and unsupported accusations of treasonous or illegal Russian connections have been the mainstay of the news since Trump’s campaign for president. These accusations have reached the point that there is an impeachment movement driven by the national security state and its liberal media and endorsed by Democrats, the American leftwing which has turned against the working class as “Trump deplorables,” and luminaries such as Harvard Law Professor Larry Tribe. The Washington Post, which was not present at the meeting of President Trump with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, purports to know that Trump gave Lavrov US national security information.

The Russian government has offered the presstitute media a transcript of the meeting, but, of course, the pressitutes are not interested.

“I think he was an entrepreneur who ran his own shop and he never ran a bureaucracy,” Welch said on CNBC’s Squawk Box. “It was a family business, which he ran beautifully. He was successful. But you can’t keep doing that.”

Welch advised the president to get more aggressive with the Deep State government bureaucrats whose leaks have triggered much of the chaos now engulfing the White House.

“If you run a bureaucracy, they’re in the weeds, they’re behind the desk, they’re whispering around the water-cooler. You’ve got to nail them and get them the hell out of there,” Welch said.

FLASHBACK - Former Clinton adviser suggests Trump be overthrown and Hillary made president

Daou made the suggestion as the 23rd tweet in a 25-tweet rant, where he attempted to lay out the case that last year’s presidential election was hacked by Russia to benefit Trump over Clinton, making it the “biggest political scandal in US history.”

“A hostile power helped elect our president,” Daou alleged.

Retired Green Beret Warns A Successful Derailment Of Trump's Efforts Is Well Under Way; War Is Inevitable

In previous articles, I mentioned the importance of the midterm elections, and how (to run the country effectively and to be reelected) the President needs success within his first six months in office. Although he is more than willing to make changes and has demonstrated his good intentions, the battle with the ensconced Marxists labeling themselves as either “progressives” or “centrists” is being lost. Why is it being lost? It is because these prior Obama appointees in the Circuit courts and the Supreme Court, along with the innumerable holdovers within the administration’s machinery effectively amount to a “fifth column,” bent on sabotaging the President’s efforts.

Flashback: Bill Clinton gave China missile technology

With all this talk of Russians allegedly interfering in U.S. elections, it is worth recalling that it wasn’t too long ago that the previous Democrat in the White House betrayed America by working hand in hand with our Communist enemies in mainland China.

As president, Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China.

That “administration’s voluntary release of all the secrets of America’s nuclear tests, combined with the systematic theft of the secrets that were left as a result of its lax security controls, effectively wiped out America’s technological edge,” David Horowitz writes in the recently published, The Black Book of the American Left Volume 7: The Left in Power: Clinton to Obama.

Report: Justice Scalia Believed Supreme Court was Being Surveilled by Obama

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News senior judicial analyst, went on FOX Business Network on Monday to discuss allegations Senator Rand Paul and another senator were under surveillance by the Obama administration.

Napolitano also dropped a bomb on the Obama administration spying on the US Supreme Court.

Judge Napolitano: Justice Scalia told me that he often thought the court was being surveilled. And he told me that probably four or five years ago…If they had to unmask Senator Paul’s name to reveal a conversation he was having with a foreign agent and the foreign agent was hostile to the United States they can do that. That’s not what he’s talking about. They’re talking about unmasking him when he’s having a conversation with his campaign manager when he’s running in the Republican primary.

Deep State Illegally Leaks Classified Info To Media To Demonize Trump For Legally Disclosing Classified Info

In the latest act of open deep state sabotage to undermine the Trump administration, deep state operatives leaked classified information divulged by Trump in a private White House meeting to The Washington Post and The New York Times.

The meeting involved Russian foreign minister Sergey V. Lavrov, Russian ambassador Sergey I. Kislyak, Lieutenant General H. R. McMaster, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and other unnamed "Americans."

Saying "Mr. Trump's disclosure does not appear to have been illegal" means: "it was not illegal, but we're going to word it in a way that makes it seem like it could be."

The Washington Post said Trump discussed "details of an Islamic State terrorist threat related to the use of laptop computers on aircraft."

Back in March, the threat of terrorists hiding bombs in electronic devices triggered the US and the UK to ban a host of electronics from being carried in cabins on flights from several Middle-Eastern countries.

National insecurity: H.R. McMaster is in Trump’s doghouse, report alleges

According to rumors, a personnel change could be coming to the West Wing. Gen. H.R. McMaster, the White House national security adviser, has grown out of favor with President Donald Trump, Bloomberg’s Eli Lake reported on Monday.

Lake, who has proved to have a source or two within the Trump administration, reported that Trump has openly clashed with McMaster in front of staff, complaining that he has been “undermining” his policy. The president was livid, according to three White House officials who spoke with Lake, upon discovering through a Wall Street Journal story that McMaster had contradicted his threat of making South Korea pay for its missile defense system.

In meetings, McMaster apparently ignores the president whenever possible. Lake reported that the national security adviser does not give Trump a chance to ask questions during briefings, instead opting to lecture the rookie president on security issues.

The president, of course, is refuting Lake’s story.

This is pathetic. The snow is melting so the building is a crematorium! Gotcha!

The Syrian regime is using a site outside Damascus to cremate the bodies of thousands of prisoners it has abducted, jailed and murdered during the country’s long-running civil war, the U.S. State Department alleged Monday.

Acting Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs Stuart Jones showed surveillance photos that -- combined with intelligence assessments and other reports -- officials believe show Bashar Assad’s government is complicit in covering up evidence of mass killings at the Sednaya Prison. Located near Damascus, the prison previously has been called a "human slaughterhouse" by Amnesty International.

Jones also charged that the “atrocities” were carried out “with unconditional support” from Russia and Iran.

The U.S. conclusion is based in part on photos that show snow melting near the building believed to be the crematorium.

Whistleblowers: James Comey Seized and Buried Information Showing Donald Trump’s Phone Calls Were Spied On

Former FBI director James Comey seized and buried volumes of information that demonstrated a wide-ranging government surveillance operation targeting Donald Trump before he became president.

Big League Politics has learned that Larry Klayman, attorney for former NSA and CIA contractor and whistleblower Dennis Montgomery, delivered to the FBI 47 hard drives and data amounting to more than 600 million pages of documentation on the surveillance scheme. Then-FBI director James Comey’s general counsel James Baker took the data into his possession, according to multiple sources. But despite possessing Montgomery’s bombshell whistleblower revelations, Comey never acted on or publicized the information.

Trump Warns New South Korea President Against Call for North Korea Talks

New South Korean President Moon Jae-in has made clear he wants to get reconciliation talks going with North Korea, and took a bit of a shot at US sanctions pushes in comments yesterday, saying he thinks sanctions should only be considered as a tool to get North Korea to the table for talks.

The Trump Administration has insisted in recent weeks they consider diplomacy to have “failed,” and President Trump appeared very dismissive of the new push for diplomacy today, saying he would only accept discussion with North Korea “under certain circumstances.”

Trump's war with Comey intensifies

President Trump is escalating his public feud with former FBI director James Comey.

Under siege in the media and on Capitol Hill, Trump on Friday morning lobbed a direct threat at the former director, tweeting that Comey “better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!”

For days, the FBI’s J. Edgar Hoover building has been a sieve of leaks contradicting the president’s account of his decision to fire Comey, painting Trump as paranoid and vindictive. In a New York Times story Thursday night, allies of Comey said the president had summoned him to the White House for dinner and demanded that he vow political loyalty — but was rebuffed.

The Russian Hacking Fiasco

There’s no proof that Russia hacked the US elections.

There’s no proof that Russian officials or Russian agents colluded with members of the Trump campaign.

There’s no proof that Russia provided material support of any kind for the Trump campaign or that Russian agents hacked Hillary Clinton’s emails or that Russian officials provided Wikileaks with emails that were intended to sabotage Hillary’s chances to win the election.

So far, no one in any of the 17 US intelligence agencies has stepped forward and verified the claims of Russian meddling or produced a scintilla of hard evidence that Russia was in anyway involved in the 2016 elections.

No proof means no proof.

US Navy runs into snags with aircraft carrier's electric plane-slingshot

Trump has been doing his homework!

The US Navy is having difficulties with its latest aircraft carrier's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) – the same system which the UK mooted fitting to its new Queen Elizabeth-class carriers.

The US Department of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOTE) revealed yesterday, in its end-of-year report [PDF] for financial year 2016, that the EMALS fitted to the new nuclear-powered carrier USS Gerald R. Ford put "excessive airframe stress" on aircraft being launched.

This stress "will preclude the Navy from conducting normal operations of the F/A-18A-F and EA-18G from CVN 78", according to DOTES, which said the problem had first been noticed in 2014.

In addition, EMALS could not "readily" be electrically isolated for maintenance, which DOTE warned "will preclude some types of EMALS and AAG (Advanced Arresting Gear) maintenance during flight operations", decreasing their operational availability.

The changes will be finished on the Navy’s Electro Magnetic Aircraft Launch System, or EMALS, in time for operational testing aboard the Navy’s first Ford-class carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — in 2017, said Navy Cmdr. Thurraya Kent.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump sent waves through the political community when he made the decision to fire FBI director James Comey. North Korea crisis: China amasses new anti-warship missiles as WW3 tensions continue

Sino-US tensions over disputed territory in the South China Sea, along with sabre-rattling from North Korea which is mostly backed by China, have seen tensions in the region rise dramatically recently.

The situation has also been enflamed by US President Donald Trump sending the aircraft carrier the Carl Vinson, along with an armada of warships to the region to undergo military drills in the area.

Images of the Yulin naval base, located on Hainan Island of the hotly disputed islands off southern China close to Vietnam, now appear to show Beijing has stock-piled a range of land-base missile launchers that have the capability of reaching and knocking out the US military vessels.

Exclusive–James Comey ‘Threw the Reputation of the FBI Under the Bus,’ Says Bureau’s Former Assistant Director

The former assistant director of the FBI tells Breitbart News that President Donald Trump fired bureau director James Comey for legitimate reasons.

“He was fired for cause in my view,” James Kallstrom informs Breitbart News. “When the referral came to the bureau close to a year ago, Comey knew at that point, if not soon after, that the Justice Department had no interest in conducting a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton. They would never approve a grand jury and they would never approve an indictment.”

Kallstrom faults Comey for presiding over a “sham” investigation of Clinton. From granting unnecessary immunity deals to conducting an interview of Clinton not under oath to too slickly issuing a document dump the day after the Fourth of July, the FBI deviated from standard-operating procedure during the investigation of the former secretary of state’s reliance on private servers to send and receive classified material, Kalstrom says.

As Heavy reported on Tuesday, 5 names that are receiving rampant speculation over who might be the next director of the FBI include South Carolina Rep Trey Gowdy (the favorite of many!), New Jersey governor Chris Christie, former NY police department head Bill Bratton, former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani (though he has allegedly ruled himself out) and another favorite of many, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke Jr.

As chair of the House Benghazi committee, and throughout his entire career, Trey Gowdy has consistently demonstrated the utmost dedication to US law, and an exceptionally ruthless dedication to the pursuit of truth. In watching any amount of the available coverage of Trey Gowdy in action, even the most casual observer can see that Mr. Gowdy is a man of incredible integrity and tremendous intelligence. It is also clear from his record that Mr. Gowdy is guided solely by notions of justice, and has no reservations whatsoever about challenging even the most powerful of entities. Private prisons back Trump and could see big payoffs with new policies

Sessions announcement on prison sentencing is a corrupt payoff to the private prison industry, pure and simple. Wonder how much stock he and Trump have in the private prison industry?

WASHINGTON — Private prison companies, which stand to make big gains under President Trump’s tough new immigration orders, also have contributed big sums to pro-Trump groups, including the organization that raised a record $100 million for his inauguration last month.

For-profit prison companies' hopes for significant gains under the Trump administration already are coming to fruition. On Thursday, the Justice Department rescinded an Obama administration order to phase out the use of private-prison contracts in the federal Bureau of Prisons.

Ray McGovern: There is very little evidence of this. Let me start by saying, I was five years old on Victory Day in 1945 and congratulations all around. And I remember vivid disputes in my living room between those who thought Senator McCarthy was on to the Red Menace, and those of a more persuasive character who said this was a fallacy, that it was a witch hunt.

Watching that hearing today was an embarrassment to me. It was sort of a reflection of what is called the 'Deep State' in our country. We had the CIA, the NSA, the FBI all sort of working behind the scenes, manipulating these senators, whose spokesperson, leading Senator in the Senate, Senator Chuck Schumer, said on air two months ago: “You know, Trump is very foolish to cross, or to go after the CIA." Trump may meet top Russian diplomat in White House: official

President Donald Trump could meet with Vladimir Putin’s top diplomat at the White House on Wednesday, a U.S. official and a person with knowledge of the plans said, describing what would be the highest level, face-to-face contact with Russia of the American leader’s young presidency. Victim of Yemen's war: the death of Jamila, aged 7

Look at that little girls face. That is what Americans allow the ghouls in the district of criminals to do to children all over the Planet. SHAME!
