Bill Clinton Cashed In When Hillary Became Secretary of State

After his wife became Secretary of State, former President Bill Clinton began to collect speaking fees that often doubled or tripled what he had been charging earlier in his post White House years, bringing in millions of dollars from groups that included several with interests pending before the State Department, an ABC News review of financial disclosure records shows.

Where he once had drawn $150,000 for a typical address in the years following his presidency, Clinton saw a succession of staggering paydays for speeches in 2010 and 2011, including $500,000 paid by a Russian investment bank and $750,000 to address a telecom conference in China.

Seeking Hillary's Favor: Dyson Attacks Cornel West

As the clock unwinds on the nation's first Black presidency, much of the Black political class is scrambling to rewrite the history of their own behavior over the past six or seven years. Joe Biden Vows No Iran Deal That Threatens Israel

Seeking to ease U.S.-Israeli tensions, Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday promised Israel delivery of top-flight fighter jets next year to maintain its military edge and vowed that any final nuclear deal with Iran would ensure Israel’s security.

Addressing an Israeli Independence Day celebration in Washington, Biden insisted that Barack Obama “has Israel’s back,” despite a recent strains between the U.S. president and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Iran nuclear talks and Middle East diplomacy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Careful, Joe. It sounds like you are angling for Mossad to kill Obama, so you can get the Oval Office and a run in 2016!

More Clinton Cronyism: Selling Uranium Interests To Russia While Hillary Was SecState

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP AND THE DEATH OF THE REPUBLIC

A republican form of government is one in which power resides in elected officials representing the citizens, and government leaders exercise power according to the rule of law. In The Federalist Papers, James Madison defined a republic as “a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people . . . .” On April 22, 2015, the Senate Finance Committee approved a bill to fast-track the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a massive trade agreement that would override our republican form of government and hand judicial and legislative authority to a foreign three-person panel of corporate lawyers.

A US Citizen And An Italian Were Killed In A US Drone Strike

The White House says that two prisoners, an American and an Italian, passed on in Pakistan recently as the aftereffect of a United States-dispatched automaton strike that additionally executed two US subjects included with Al-Qaeda.

"It is with huge distress that we as of late inferred that a US government counterterrorism operation in January killed two pure prisoners held by Al-Qaeda since 2011," peruses an announcement discharged by the White House press office on Thursday morning.

Change They Don’t Believe In

The unfortunate consequence of not allowing the process of “creative destruction” to occur in banking and Big Business is that the historic forces behind it will seek expression elsewhere in the realm of politics and governance. The desperate antics of central banks to cover up financial failure can’t help but provoke political upheaval, including war.

It’s a worldwide phenomenon and one result will be the crackup of economic relations — thought by many to be permanent — that we call “globalism.” The USA has suffered mightily from globalism, by which a bonanza of cheap “consumer” products made by Asian factory slaves has masked the degeneration of local economic vitality, family life, behavioral norms, and social cohesion. That crackup is already underway in the currency wars aptly named by Jim Rickards, and you can bet that soon enough it will lead to the death of the 12,000-mile supply lines from China to WalMart — eventually to the death of WalMart itself (and everything like it). Another result will be the interruption of oil export supply lines.

URGENT: Saudi Arabia Bars Iran's Cargo Plane from Entering Yemen's Airspace

The Iranian civilian plane carried humanitarian aids, including medical equipment, for the Yemeni people who have been under the Saudi-led airstrikes for almost a month now.

The plane was bound for Sana'a Airport, but was intercepted by the Saudi fighter jets before entering Yemen's airspace.

Mohammadi Araqi described the Yemeni people's conditions as critical, and said, "We are in contact with Yemen's Red Crescent Society and Health Ministry and have included their needs in the new consignment."

He lamented that planes and ships are not allowed into Yemen's ports and airports, and said, "Unfortunately, the Saudi government has prevented the dispatch of aid to Yemen."

Iran has already sent five consignments of humanitarian aid to Yemen, including a total of 69 tons of relief, medical, treatment, and consumer items.

Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation as Russians Pressed for Control of Uranium Company

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

US Journalist Dispel Myths About The "Dangerous For Foreigners" Russia

I can't number how often I've heard that notice in the 14 months since I chose to move to Moscow from Berlin. It's as though I were entering a combat area.

In reasonableness, those 14 months have seen a series of disastrous occasions that have left a lot of Russia changed: the addition of Crimea; war in eastern Ukraine; the weakening of relations with the West; authorizes; President Vladimir V. Putin's clampdown on political resistance, media and expressions of the human experience; and the breakdown of the ruble and log jam of the Russian economy.

Lindsey Graham’s “All-Jewish Cabinet”

He described “the means” as the biggest hurdle facing his potential campaign, adding:

If I put together a finance team that will make me financially competitive enough to stay in this thing… I may have the first all-Jewish cabinet in America because of the pro-Israel funding. [Chuckles.] Bottom line is, I’ve got a lot of support from the pro-Israel funding.

Indeed, pro-Israel heavyweights, such as Sheldon Adelson, Paul Singer, and other heavyweight donors of the Republican Jewish Coalition, are emerging as the go-to funders of the Republican Party. Graham’s observation—whether meant lightly or not (or uttered under the influence of the Riesling)— tends to confirm that access to their millions is critical to the fortunes of any Republican presidential candidate in 2016.

Putin Undercuts Obama Iran Ploy

Once more Vladimir Putin and his team have managed to undercut Washington’s geopolitical strategy, this time regarding the secret bilateral US negotiations with Iran outside the G5+1 talks that included Russia. During the daily foreign ministry press briefing in Tehran, the ministry's Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham confirmed Zarif's trip to New York and added that, "given the presence of Iranian diplomats as well as other members of the P5+1, there may be talks on the nuclear negotiations on the sideline."

Former Mossad Chief: Israel Should Not Meddle In US-Iran Talks

Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, ex-Mossad Director Efraim Halevy summed up the current chilly relationship between the United States and Israel with a joke.

"When we had problems with the United States, people in Israel jokingly said we should go to war with the United States," Halevy said. "And the problem would be not what would happen if we would lose the war, but what happens if we win the war?"

Halevy, speaking on a conference call sponsored by the Israel Policy Forum, said that the old line shed light on the Israeli government's current opposition to the Obama administration's ongoing negotiations with Iran over the country's nuclear program.

"That of course highlights the somewhat ridiculous situation we might be in if an Israeli effort to derail the entire process would succeed," the former intelligence chief said.

Obama: US Could Penetrate S-300 System to Attack Iran

Speaking on MSNBC, President Obama downplayed Russia’s decision to allow Iran to buy S-300 air defense systems from them, saying the systems would not stop an American attack on Iran.

“Even if they’ve got some air defense systems, we could penetrate them,” Obama insisted, noting the US spends $600 billion on its military compared to Iran’s $17 billion.

The S-300 line was a top Soviet-era long-range air defense system, it first entered use in Russia in the 1980s. It has never been used in combat anywhere, but is considered a higher end defensive system.

From Vietnam to ISIS: Canada needs to apologize

As Canadians pat themselves on the back for taking in Vietnamese refugees at the end of the 1970s, it is perhaps an appropriate time for Canada to apologize to the Vietnamese people for our collective role in creating the refugee flow in the first place.

Canada played a significant role in decimating their country (as well as Laos and Cambodia), aiding and abetting, for example, the permanent alteration of an entire people's gene pool through the production and supply of chemical and biological warfare agents for U.S. forces. The fallout was subsequent generations marked by grotesque physical deformities and severely retarded brain and motor function development. Indeed, Canada produced the chemical defoliant Agent Orange, a dioxin-laced carcinogen, 43 million litres of which were dumped by the U.S. Air Force (this on top of 30 million litres of related defoliants). U.S. soldiers who came home from Vietnam having been soaked in the stuff experienced similar horrors.

Time to Wake up to some Realities on the Iran Deal

Too many cooks spoil the broth, and that appears to be precisely what the Senate had in mind.

Evidently Obama has concluded that a veto-proof majority in both Houses stood behind the Foreign Relations Committee bill, and reluctantly conceded. But that wrests control of the process out of the hands of the Administration. The Iran deal may have died this afternoon.

To make sense of the events that have led to the current negotiations over Iran’s so-called nuclear ambitions, certain elemental realities should be highlighted:

Hillary's back in first class at end of New Hampshire campaign trip where she railed against the rich – after 80 mph race to BOSTON to catch flight with elite seats

Hillary Clinton ended her whirlwind New Hampshire campaign swing on Tuesday afternoon in another state entirely, taking taxpayers for an 80 miles-per-hour ride all the way to Boston – to catch a flight with first class seats.

Her Secret Service-provided 'Scooby' van motored from Concord to Boston Logan International Airport, escorted by troopers from both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

She arrived in time to take a 7:00 p.m. US Airways shuttle to Washington, D.C. On the way, her motorcade passed exits to the Manchester, N.H. airport, which was 55 miles closer and offered a 5:16 p.m. flight to the same destination.

The Boston flight, though, used a larger aircraft with 12 first class seats. The Manchester flight was scheduled to use a smaller plane with nothing but coach.

Why An American And A Russian General Are Suddenly Very Worried About Nuclear War

Over the past several years, there has been an alarming escalation of two very disturbing trends: an increasing preponderance of cyberattacks on complex infrastructure (whether domestic or abroad and whether instigated by external sources or internally, in a false falg attempt to evolve the issue to the benefit of various military-industrial complex benficiaries) as well as around the globe, and a largely unexpected return to a Cold War footing, one catalyzed by the violent US-sponsored overthrow of the former Kiev government and the eagerness to escalate the resultant conflict exhibited by the Kremlin.

If one extends said trends, one would arrive at a very unpleasant conclusion: due to the porous nature of modern technology and the increasing prevalence of cyberattacks, coupled with Cold War-era nuclear doctrines and rising tensions between the two superpowers who are now back to a Cold War regime, a nuclear war has suddenly emerged yet again as a very real threat.

More Hillary Cronyism Revealed – How Cisco Used Clinton Foundation Donations to Cover-up Human Rights Abuse in China

In her 2014 memoir “Hard Choices,” Clinton reiterated her support for human-rights advocates in China. She specifically criticized the Great Firewall, writing that after she made comments about the right to dissent in China in 2011, “censors went right to work erasing mentions of my message from the Internet.”

But the issue of Chinese repression — and Cisco’s role — was already known by then. In 2009, weeks after Clinton’s State Department had named Cisco a finalist for the secretary of state’s Awards for Corporate Excellence (ACE), a report from the Electronic Freedom Foundation noted “Cisco’s deep involvement” in building the Chinese government’s censorship system. The report pointed out that “Cisco engineers gave a presentation acknowledging the repressive uses for their technology.”

New Hillary Scandal – Should She Kiss Her White House Dreams Goodbye?

If Trey Gowdy manages to get to the bottom of the Benghazi scandal, we might see Hillary Clinton held responsible for the deaths of three in the terrorist attack on the U.S. embassy.

But, even if she manages to avoid being held accountable for their deaths, there’s a new scandal that’s being brought to the attention of the voting public that could have her found guilty with blood on her hands.

A 2008 donation to the Clinton foundation is now being called into question as the company who donated money was later granted a special privilege once Mrs. Clinton was nominated Secretary of State.

Frank Giustra is a wealthy Colombian oil tycoon and owner of Pacific Rubiales. Notably, he’s also a close friend of the Clintons and even serves on the board of the Clinton foundation. It’s estimated he’s donated in excess of $130 million to the Clintons various philanthropies.

He and the Clintons are inseparable.

On Saturday, April 18th, the Commander of the U.S. Army in Europe, Ben Hodges, told Britain’s Telegraph that “There is a Russian threat,” and that “The best insurance we have against a showdown is that NATO stands together.”

Ever since the Soviet Union’s military alliance, the Warsaw Pact, dissolved in 1991, NATO has expanded eastward to Russia’s borders, and now it is preparing to admit yet another nation on Russia’s border: Ukraine. This eastward expansion broke (and breaks, since it’s continuing) a verbal agreement which had produced the termination of the Warsaw Pact (the Soviet Union’s equivalent of America’s NATO alliance).

Conference on the Israel Lobby—Press Blackout at the Press Club

So, where were the reporters of the mainstream media? Where was C-SPAN during a week when Congress was on a holiday and their cameras were not preoccupied by Capitol Hill activities—its foremost priority? Apparently, the American people were only to see and hear the extreme views of AIPAC that do not even command the support of a majority of American Jews who do favor a two-state solution, along with a majority of Arab-Americans.

Organized by the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, which was launched about thirty years ago by a British Army Officer who served in World War II and two retired U.S. Ambassadors to countries in the Middle East (wrmea.org), the day-long program at the prestigious National Press Club should have been intriguing to reporters. OKC Bombshell Implicates Feds In Murrah Blast

In reality, the ANFO story was born only 10 minutes after the blast when a high-ranking BATF official by the name of Harry Everhart witnessed the blast from nearby and called the BATF office in Dallas to excitedly announce, “Someone has just blown up the federal building in Oklahoma City with a truckload of ANFO!”

Some reporters and investigators, who have looked objectively at the bombing, now argue that neither Everhart nor anyone else could have correctly deduced in such a short time exactly what caused the explosion.

According to government documents released later, Everhart was experienced in loading large amounts of ammonium nitrate fertilizer into a vehicle for use as a terrorist truck bomb, and his presence in the midst of the second worst terrorist attack in U.S. history looms suspicious to this day.

OK City - Why Did Bill Clinton's National Security Council Fund ATF "Experiments" in Building Home Made ANFO Truck Bombs in 1994?

According to the federal government, an Ammonia Nitrate-Fuel Oil (ANFO) truck bomb allegedly destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah building in downtown Oklahoma City on the morning of Wednesday, April 19, 1995. Also, according to recently released government documents, an individual experienced in loading large amounts of ammonia nitrate fertilizer into a vehicle for use as a terrorist truck bomb was present at the OKC scene and actually witnessed the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history. Records indicate that this ANFO explosives expert and his associates had constructed and destroyed at least eight vehicles in "test bombing experiments" out at a secret range in the New Mexico desert in the twelve months prior to the OKC bombing. He and his fellow explosives experts even photographed and videotaped these truck bombs as they detonated.

Oklahoma City Bomb Report

This report on the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was prepared by Brigadier General Benton K. Partin, USAF (Ret.) and dated July 30, 1995.

The report was submitted to the U.S. Congress and is a matter of the Congressional Record.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What is important to remember is that Congress was going to hold an investigation into what happened at Waco. The BATF had collected all the evidence and stored it in the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. When the building was destroyed, so was all the Waco evidence!

FLASHBACK - WACO - Who Shot First?

Contrary to the image of a dangerous gun nut put out in the media in an effort to justify the burning of the church, official BATF records prove that David Koresch was rather harmless, so much so that the BATF agents invited him to go shooting with them just 9 days before they raided the church. Koresch supplied the ammunition. The BATF agents allowed Koresch to try out their weapons.

Here is the official BATF report.

The Oklahoma City Bombing - The CNN Reports of additional bombs.

LEA: All right. We just saw, if you were watching there- there was a white pick-up truck backing a trailer into the scene here. They're trying to move people out of the way so they can get it in. It appears to be the Oklahoma County Bomb Squad. It's their bomb disposal unit, essentially, is what it is. And it is what they would use to- if- if the report that we gave you just a few moments ago turns out to be correct, that they have found a second explosive device of some kind inside this building, they'll back that trailer down there and the bomb squad folks will go in and they will use that- that trailer- you see the bucket on the back there. Sort of- this is how they would transport the explosive device away from this populated area to try to do something with it.

PHOTO: School blames ‘poor lighting’ for paltry Michelle O lunch

That’s not really a fish filet with a whole wheat bun resting on top.

Nah, your eyes are playing tricks on you.

That’s what administrators at Virginia’s Portsmouth Public Schools want parents to believe after a mother took a photo of her child’s paltry school lunch and posted it on social media.

The mom says James Hurst Elementary served the lunch Tuesday.

After the photo began circulating around the community, Food Service Coordinator Jim Gehlhoff admitted the lunch “concerns us,” but added that it might not actually be as bad as it looks.

portsmouth-lunch“Poor lighting and food presentation make this lunch unappealing,” he said in a statement released to the media.

In a recent interview, Saban said it's not a matter of if Clinton wins, it's a matter of when.

Hail to the Chief

Republicans haven’t just rejected President Obama. They have adopted Benjamin Netanyahu as their leader.

Last month, at the unilateral invitation of Republicans, and against the will of a Democratic president, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress. He argued for a foreign policy that matched the views of congressional Republicans, not the views of the U.S. administration. Many people, including me, were taken aback by this overt alliance between the U.S. opposition party and the prime minister of another country. But a Bloomberg Politics poll released this week shows that the alliance is deeply rooted. Republicans haven’t just rejected Obama. They have adopted Netanyahu as their leader.

A US-Russia War Over Ukraine?

"Could a U.S. response to Russia’s action in Ukraine provoke a confrontation that leads to a U.S.-Russia War?"

This jolting question is raised by Graham Allison and Dimitri Simes in the cover article of The National Interest.

The answer the authors give, in "Countdown to War: The Coming U.S. Russia Conflict," is that the odds are shortening on a military collision between the world’s largest nuclear powers.

The cockpit of the conflict, should it come, will be Ukraine.

Revisiting the Prophetic Memoir of Clinton's Top Russia Adviser

First, re-examination of this memoir of Strobe Talbott’s years in government is timely because the author is reportedly the first choice of Hilary Clinton to be her Secretary of State if she wins the presidency. Hilary has just announced her candidacy for the 2016 election. and by general agreement of the pundits, she is the front runner. The book provides invaluable information about Talbott, the respected friend and adviser to the Clintons.

Christopher Bollyn on “Solving 9/11 ends the war” on Kevin Barrett’s Truth Jihad Radio (audio)

On this day in history, April 15th, 1912, the Titanic sank. Today’s guest Christopher Bollyn, author of Solving 9/11, says the American ship of state is sailing towards doom – and the only way to turn it around is by facing the truth about 9/11.

Christopher just returned to his home in Europe after a “Solving 9/11 Ends the War” speaking tour in the US. (I will be speaking in some of the same venues during next week’s We Are NOT Charlie Hebdo book tour.) We discuss America’s, and the world’s, gradual awakening to the truth about 9/11 – and the possibility that Netanyahu and the neocons could launch another huge false flag to torpedo the Iran nuclear agreement and cover their 9/11 tracks via a wider war that could go global and nuclear.
