Trump's war with Comey intensifies

President Trump is escalating his public feud with former FBI director James Comey.

Under siege in the media and on Capitol Hill, Trump on Friday morning lobbed a direct threat at the former director, tweeting that Comey “better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!”

For days, the FBI’s J. Edgar Hoover building has been a sieve of leaks contradicting the president’s account of his decision to fire Comey, painting Trump as paranoid and vindictive. In a New York Times story Thursday night, allies of Comey said the president had summoned him to the White House for dinner and demanded that he vow political loyalty — but was rebuffed.

The Russian Hacking Fiasco

There’s no proof that Russia hacked the US elections.

There’s no proof that Russian officials or Russian agents colluded with members of the Trump campaign.

There’s no proof that Russia provided material support of any kind for the Trump campaign or that Russian agents hacked Hillary Clinton’s emails or that Russian officials provided Wikileaks with emails that were intended to sabotage Hillary’s chances to win the election.

So far, no one in any of the 17 US intelligence agencies has stepped forward and verified the claims of Russian meddling or produced a scintilla of hard evidence that Russia was in anyway involved in the 2016 elections.

No proof means no proof.

US Approves $2 Billion Missile Sale To UAE

It looks like the weapons manufacturers win again as the US approves selling weapons to a foreign military known for terrorist actions. The United Arab Emirates’s recent military decisions include violently ending democratic protests in Bahrain and participating in Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen. There have recently been massive protests against the Saudi Arabian/UAE terrorism against Yemen civilians, including using US supplied chemical weapons. The UAE participated in the terrible crimes that some call a genocide, and now they will be armed with another $2 billion dollars worth of US supplied weapons.

US Navy runs into snags with aircraft carrier's electric plane-slingshot

Trump has been doing his homework!

The US Navy is having difficulties with its latest aircraft carrier's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) – the same system which the UK mooted fitting to its new Queen Elizabeth-class carriers.

The US Department of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOTE) revealed yesterday, in its end-of-year report [PDF] for financial year 2016, that the EMALS fitted to the new nuclear-powered carrier USS Gerald R. Ford put "excessive airframe stress" on aircraft being launched.

This stress "will preclude the Navy from conducting normal operations of the F/A-18A-F and EA-18G from CVN 78", according to DOTES, which said the problem had first been noticed in 2014.

In addition, EMALS could not "readily" be electrically isolated for maintenance, which DOTE warned "will preclude some types of EMALS and AAG (Advanced Arresting Gear) maintenance during flight operations", decreasing their operational availability.

Navy Fixes Carrier Catapult to Launch Jets with External Fuel Tanks

The Navy has had trouble with these new digital catapults. Maybe Trump is better informed on this than some people seem to think! The Navy plans to fix the software on its new carrier-based electromagnetic catapult system so that it can launching F/A-18s and Growlers carrying additional external fuel tanks under the wings, service officials said.

The changes will be finished on the Navy’s Electro Magnetic Aircraft Launch System, or EMALS, in time for operational testing aboard the Navy’s first Ford-class carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — in 2017, said Navy Cmdr. Thurraya Kent.

https://www.rt.com/usa/352639-us-carrier-gerald-ford-reliablity-proble... notably, she features Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG), which would replace older steam-powered catapults and save more below-deck space for the aircraft.

THE DECADE-LONG U.S. CAMPAIGN TO FOMENT SYRIA’S “REVOLUTION” AND UNSEAT ASSAD

Though many trace the beginning of the ongoing conflict in Syria back to the Arab Spring protests of 2011, the seeds of war were sown as early as 2001, when the U.S. decided to declare Syria an enemy. The events that followed would send the country into a violent downward spiral.

FLASHBACK - Pearl Harbour memo shows US warned of Japanese attack

On the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbour, the attack that propelled America into the Second World War, a declassified memo shows that Japanese surprise attack was expected.

BILL CLINTON FIRED THE FBI DIRECTOR THE DAY BEFORE VINCE FOSTER WAS FOUND DEAD

On Tuesday, Donald Trump sent waves through the political community when he made the decision to fire FBI director James Comey. While the media went on to compare Trump to Richard Nixon over the incident, and #Nixonian was trending Tuesday night, Nixon never fired his FBI director. In fact, only one president in the history of the US has done this before and that was Bill Clinton. In 1993, President Clinton ousted William Sessions as FBI director after Sessions refused to voluntarily step down amid ethical concerns. Sessions, who was appointed by Ronald Reagan, had been under investigation over an alleged tax scheme.

North Korea crisis: China amasses new anti-warship missiles as WW3 tensions continue

Sino-US tensions over disputed territory in the South China Sea, along with sabre-rattling from North Korea which is mostly backed by China, have seen tensions in the region rise dramatically recently.

The situation has also been enflamed by US President Donald Trump sending the aircraft carrier the Carl Vinson, along with an armada of warships to the region to undergo military drills in the area.

Images of the Yulin naval base, located on Hainan Island of the hotly disputed islands off southern China close to Vietnam, now appear to show Beijing has stock-piled a range of land-base missile launchers that have the capability of reaching and knocking out the US military vessels.

Exclusive–James Comey ‘Threw the Reputation of the FBI Under the Bus,’ Says Bureau’s Former Assistant Director

The former assistant director of the FBI tells Breitbart News that President Donald Trump fired bureau director James Comey for legitimate reasons.

“He was fired for cause in my view,” James Kallstrom informs Breitbart News. “When the referral came to the bureau close to a year ago, Comey knew at that point, if not soon after, that the Justice Department had no interest in conducting a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton. They would never approve a grand jury and they would never approve an indictment.”

Kallstrom faults Comey for presiding over a “sham” investigation of Clinton. From granting unnecessary immunity deals to conducting an interview of Clinton not under oath to too slickly issuing a document dump the day after the Fourth of July, the FBI deviated from standard-operating procedure during the investigation of the former secretary of state’s reliance on private servers to send and receive classified material, Kalstrom says.

Trey Gowdy on Trump’s List to Replace FBI Director James Comey

With FBI director James Comey fired due to his shameful handling of the Hillary Clinton investigations, it’s time to make a change.

As Heavy reported on Tuesday, 5 names that are receiving rampant speculation over who might be the next director of the FBI include South Carolina Rep Trey Gowdy (the favorite of many!), New Jersey governor Chris Christie, former NY police department head Bill Bratton, former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani (though he has allegedly ruled himself out) and another favorite of many, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke Jr.

On 5/9/2017, President Trump, on recommendations from the DoJ, dismissed FBI director James Comey, citing the need to restore public trust in the FBI. As chair of the House Benghazi committee, and throughout his entire career, Trey Gowdy has consistently demonstrated the utmost dedication to US law, and an exceptionally ruthless dedication to the pursuit of truth. In watching any amount of the available coverage of Trey Gowdy in action, even the most casual observer can see that Mr. Gowdy is a man of incredible integrity and tremendous intelligence. It is also clear from his record that Mr. Gowdy is guided solely by notions of justice, and has no reservations whatsoever about challenging even the most powerful of entities. No one could restore the reputation of the FBI better than he.

Private prisons back Trump and could see big payoffs with new policies

Sessions announcement on prison sentencing is a corrupt payoff to the private prison industry, pure and simple. Wonder how much stock he and Trump have in the private prison industry?

WASHINGTON — Private prison companies, which stand to make big gains under President Trump’s tough new immigration orders, also have contributed big sums to pro-Trump groups, including the organization that raised a record $100 million for his inauguration last month.

For-profit prison companies' hopes for significant gains under the Trump administration already are coming to fruition. On Thursday, the Justice Department rescinded an Obama administration order to phase out the use of private-prison contracts in the federal Bureau of Prisons.

Jeff Sessions' Role in Expanding Private Prisons Is Deeper Than You Might Think

"When Obama made the decision [to phase out private prisons] in August, the next day, a subsidiary of GEO group, one of the nation's largest for-profit prison operators donated $100,000 dollars to the pro-Trump super PAC Rebuilding America Now," Martin explained.

'Report on alleged Russian hacking is embarrassment to US intelligence profession' - fmr CIA officer

Ray McGovern: There is very little evidence of this. Let me start by saying, I was five years old on Victory Day in 1945 and congratulations all around. I was twice that when Senator [Joseph] McCarthy held those hearings. And I remember vivid disputes in my living room between those who thought Senator McCarthy was on to the Red Menace, and those of a more persuasive character who said this was a fallacy, that it was a witch hunt.

Watching that hearing today was an embarrassment to me. It was sort of a reflection of what is called the 'Deep State' in our country. We had the CIA, the NSA, the FBI all sort of working behind the scenes, manipulating these senators, whose spokesperson, leading Senator in the Senate, Senator Chuck Schumer, said on air two months ago: “You know, Trump is very foolish to cross, or to go after the CIA." Rachel Maddow asked: “What do you mean?”“Well,” Schumer responded, “the CIA has six ways to Sunday to get back at you."

Trump may meet top Russian diplomat in White House: official

President Donald Trump could meet with Vladimir Putin’s top diplomat at the White House on Wednesday, a U.S. official and a person with knowledge of the plans said, describing what would be the highest level, face-to-face contact with Russia of the American leader’s young presidency. Two high profile officials who served under the Obama administration told a Senate judiciary subcommittee on May. 8 they had reviewed classified information in which Donald Trump, his associates, or members of congress had been unmasked.

The testimony by Sally Yates, the former acting Attorney General, and James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence (DNI), before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee, raised the question of whether communications of the Trump team were gathered for legitimate purposes or for political purposes.

In Geopolitics, and especially when dealing with countries that you are technically still at war with, credible threats, combined with shows of force are irresponsible provocations, that can easily spin out of control. Both sides are off the rails, which isn’t all that surprising if you really think about it. Kim Jong-Un and Donald J. Top US general affirms pledge to 'de-conflicting' operations in Syria with Russian counterpart

The top U.S. military officer General Joseph Dunford and Russia’s military chief of staff affirmed their commitment to avoid clashes in the crowded airspace over Syria, the Pentagon said Saturday.

Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and General Valery Gerasimov chatted on the phone hours after a new Syria ceasefire plan creating “de-escalation” zones went into effect with the backing of Russia, Iran and NATO-ally Turkey.

The two generals agreed to maintain their “commitment to de-conflicting” their respective military operations in the war-ravaged country, Dunford spokesman Capt. Greg Hicks said in a brief statement.

Dunford and Gerazimov also discussed the new ceasefire plan and “both also agreed to maintain regular contact,” Hicks said.

‘Greatest threat to US democracy is its sham two-party system, not Russia’

The USA is supposed to be a Constitutional Republic not a Democracy. It is now a Tyrannical Oligarchy. But the Government in the district of criminals is a complete Sham and the enemy of every life form on the Planet Earth!

The FBI chief's statement about Russian threat to US democracy is hot air designed to obfuscate Clinton’s failure, while the attacks on WikiLeaks are fanning the flames of Julian Assange’s mistrial, says former MI5 intelligence officer Annie Machon.

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday the FBI chief, James Comey, lashed out at WikiLeaks while questioned by senators on the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and Russia's alleged involvement in the US election.

FLASHBACK - Key Democratic Officials Now Warning Base Not to Expect Evidence of Trump/Russia Collusion

Key Democratic officials are clearly worried about the expectations that have been purposely stoked and are now trying to tamp them down. Many of them have tried to signal that the beliefs the base has been led to adopt have no basis in reason or evidence.

The latest official to throw cold water on the MSNBC-led circus is President Obama’s former acting CIA chief Michael Morell. What makes him particularly notable in this context is that Morell was one of Clinton’s most vocal CIA surrogates. In August, he not only endorsed Clinton in the pages of the New York Times but also became the first high official to explicitly accuse Trump of disloyalty, claiming, “In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.”

Susan Rice’s refusal to testify to Congress exposes the “Russia hacking” lie

Tucker Carlson speaks to Democrat strategist Joshua Galper over Susan Rice’s refusal to testify before a Senate subcommittee about Russian meddling in the presidential election and ‘unmasking’ of Trump campaign staffers under surveillance.

Watching the video below, it is clear that Democrats and Galper are now trying to explain away, with dumbed down double speak, as to why Susan Rice (a central player in the Russian meddling fake news) refuses to testify to Congress.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama planted a bomb under American Democracy with their witch hunt to destroy candidate Trump, leading to a made up story about Russian hackers to divert attention away from Obama’s White House spying on a presidential candidate.

Witness Tucker dismantle this Democrat party strategist…who has no answer to Carlson’s questioning.

Sauron Rules in Washington

A reader asked why neoconservatives push toward nuclear war when there can be no winners. If all die, what is the point?

Their insane plan is as follows: Washington will ring Russia and China with anti-ballistic missile bases in order to provide a shield against a retaliatory strike from Russia and China. Moreover, these US anti-ABM bases also can deploy nuclear attack missiles unknown to Russia and China, thus reducing the warning time to five minutes, leaving Washington’s victims little or no time in which to make a decision.

It is Washington that wants to snuff out human morality and beome the master of the planet. As I have previously written, Washington without any question is Sauron. The only important question is whether there is sufficient good left in the world to resist and overcome Washington’s evil.

DEA Breaks the Law with Special Prosecutors to Rekindle Drug War

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) hopes to further capitalize on the modern day drug war by ramping up the prosecution of cases involving people who manufacture, traffic and use pharmaceutical substances outside of their medicinal function.

According to National Public Radio, Uncle Sam’s leading drug enforcement hammers quietly announced a plan last month to recruit a slew of new special prosecutors for the sole purpose of nailing drug offenders to the wall. The agency said its intention was to employee as many as 20 legal eagles, all of whom would be paid through funds provided by the pharmaceutical industry, that “would be permitted to represent the United States in criminal and civil proceedings before the courts and apply for various legal orders.”

Charges dropped against immigrant teens in high school rape case

They are NOT immigrants. They are both illegal aliens. Fourteen year old girls can't give consent in any state I know about. Although one of these illegal aliens is still charged with possession of child pornography. They will probably drop that charge too.

May 5 (UPI) -- Rape and other charges were dropped Friday against two teens in a Rockville, Md., case that fed into the national debate over immigration.

Prosecutors said they will drop charges against Jose Montano, 17, and Henry Sanchez Milian, 18, though a case of child pornography possession related to images on Sanchez Milian's cellphone would be pursued.

Report: Trump to Skip Cinco de Mayo Celebration at White House

Friday is Cinco de Mayo, an obscure Mexican holiday celebrating the Mexican army’s surprise victory over French troops in the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

The holiday is rarely celebrated in Mexico, but is widely celebrated in the United States, where people wave Mexican flags. Many Americans mistakenly think Cinco de Mayo is Mexican Independence Day, which is actually September 16.

Given the lack of historical importance associated with Cinco de Mayo, President Trump has decided to buck a longstanding White House tradition – he won’t hold a Mexican celebration at the White House.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I agree with this. The White House should observe AMERICAN holidays and stop all this globalist multi-whatjamagigishness.

New US federal budget Has No Money For The Wall But Plenty for Planned Parenthood

Donald Trump’s campaign promises are fading from minds of the Republican leaders who supported him and who now control both the House and Senate. The budget actually prohibits Trump’s border wall and fails to cut funding for the EPA. It provides funding for Planned Parenthood, sanctuary cities, and Obamacare subsidies. Trump asked for – and received $21-billion in funding to expand the military. In other words, the election made no difference. The bi-partisan agenda continue as before. –GEG

How Prison Labor is the New American Slavery and Most of Us Unknowingly Support it

The USA uses a lot of prison labor.

If you buy products or services from any of the 50 companies listed below (and you likely do), you are supporting modern American slavery

With 5 percent of the world’s population and 25 percent of the world’s prison population, the United States has the largest incarcerated population in the world. No other society in history has imprisoned more of its own citizens. There are half a million more prisoners in the U.S. than in China, which has five times our population. Approximately 1 in 100 adults in America were incarcerated in 2014. Out of an adult population of 245 million that year, there were 2.4 million people in prison, jail or some form of detention center.

The vast majority – 86 percent – of prisoners have been locked up for non-violent, victimless crimes, many of them drug-related.

Let's Call Western Media Coverage of Syria By Its Real Name: Propaganda

In his essential study of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, University of Kent Professor Richard Sakwa writes that, somewhere down the road, Western media’s reductive, ideological coverage of the conflict “will undoubtedly become the subject of many an intriguing academic study.” That’s if the human race isn’t wiped out by environmental catastrophe or nuclear holocaust first—far from a sure thing, especially with the Trump regime running amok, lobbing cruise missiles and sending armadas (or not) and dropping MOABs, and all of it to quell suspicions that the president’s undersized hands might reflect a certain priapic compactness.

China urges all sides in North Korea standoff to 'stop irritating' one another

China on Wednesday urged all parties in the Korean standoff to stay calm and "stop irritating each other," a day after North Korea said the United States was pushing the region to the brink of nuclear war.

North Korea's state media published a rare, strong, criticism of China on Wednesday, saying Chinese state media commentaries calling for tougher sanctions over Pyongyang's nuclear program were undermining relations with Beijing and worsening tensions.

The United States has urged China, North Korea's only major ally, to do more to rein in its neighbor's nuclear and missile programs, which have prompted an assertive response from the Trump administration, warning that an "era of strategic patience" is over.

May 04 07:48

What the N. Korean “Crisis” Is Really About

The North Korean “crisis” is a Washington orchestration. North Korea was last at war 1950-53. N. Korea has not attacked or invaded anyone in 64 years. N. Korea lacks the military strength to attack any country, such as South Korea and Japan, that is protected by the US. Moreover, China would not permit N. Korea to start a war.

So what is the demonization of N. Korea by the presstitutes and Trump administration about?

It is about the same thing that the demonization of Iran was about. The “Iranian threat” was an orchestration that was used as cover to put US anti-ballistic missile bases on Russia’s borders. An anti-ballistic missile (ABM) is intended to intercept and destroy nuclear-armed ICBMs (intercontinental ballistic missiles) and prevent them from reaching their targets.

Trump stirs pot with talk of blowing up Senate rules

As a gridlocked Congress threatens to stall the legislative promises that catapulted him to office, President Trump has raised hackles on the Hill by suggesting longstanding Senate rules simply be scrapped to cripple Democratic opposition.

Trump has twice in the past week railed against “archaic” Senate procedures – first in an interview with Fox News and then again on Twitter – seeming to suggest the legislative filibuster be ended to take advantage of Republicans’ control of Congress.

“And maybe at some point we're going to have to take those rules on, because, for the good of the nation, things are going to have to be different,” Trump said on “The First 100 Days” on Friday. “You can't go through a process like this. It's not fair. It forces you to make bad decisions. I mean, you're really forced into doing things that you would normally not do except for these archaic rules.”

The real reasons why Trump has flipped on his campaign promises

The record setting flip-flop by Trump should not be taken lightly or simply treated as aimless schizophrenia on the part of the White House. While the Obama administration flipped on numerous campaign promises, they did so subtly while maintaining their lies in a strategic way for two full terms. This is not what is happening today. Trump’s dramatic change, in my view, should be taken as a signal that a much greater game is afoot, with far higher stakes. It should also be treated as a sign that if a crisis is on the verge of being engineered, then it will be happening rather soon, perhaps before 2017 is over.

'Trump Slump': President's rhetoric and travel ban repel millions of tourists to USA

US President Donald Trump's rhetoric about building a wall along the Mexico-US border, repeated attempts to ban immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries and a loud "America First" stance is putting off international tourists from planning holidays to the country.

Projections by Pennsylvania, US-based Tourism Economics (TE), an affiliate of UK research and analysis outfit Oxford Economics, suggest the US could see 4.3m fewer international tourists equating to a revenue loss of $7.4bn (£5.73bn).

Trump’s alleged achievement: Has Washington ‘isolated’ Moscow at the UN?

A White House document claims that one of the key achievements of the Donald Trump administration’s first 100 days has been the further isolation of Syria and Russia at the United Nations “through successful diplomacy with President Xi Jinping of China.”

Jack Goldstone, an American sociologist, political expert and professor at George Mason University, told RBTH that Trump is probably referring to the United Nations Resolution of April 12 that condemned Syria for using chemical weapons on April 4. Drafted by the United Kingdom, France and the U.S., the resolution was vetoed by Russia.

Milwaukee jury: Charge staffers in inmate dehydration death

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A jury on Monday recommended criminal charges against seven Milwaukee County jail staffers in the dehydration death of an inmate who went without water for seven days.

The jury's recommendation came after a six-day inquest that included testimony from jail staff and evidence from county prosecutors. The jury found probable cause for "abuse of a resident of a penal facility" in the death of 38-year-old Terrill Thomas on April 24, 2016.

"This isn't the first time this happened. This is a pattern," Assistant District Attorney Kurt Bentley said.

Clarke, who has been frequently mentioned as a possible Trump administration appointee, has declined to comment on Thomas' death but did issue a statement in March noting Thomas' criminal background.

TEL AVIV – In a radio interview last night, Jackie Mason, the famous standup comic who dubs himself “The Ultimate Jew,” declared that President Donald Trump is “even more Jewish than me.”

Donald Trump slams 'archaic' US constitution that is 'really bad' for the country

Donald Trump has blamed the US constitution for the problems he has encountered during his first 100 days in office.

In an interview with Fox News to mark the milestone, the Republican called the system of checks and balances on power “archaic”.

“It’s a very rough system,” he said. “It’s an archaic system … It’s really a bad thing for the country.”

Trump floats Kim Jong Un sit-down: ‘Absolutely’ would meet with North Korean leader

This makes a lot of sense if there is follow through.

President Trump said in an interview Monday that he “absolutely” would meet with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un under the right circumstances.

Washington Plans to Nuke Russia and China

It is extremely dangerous to all of mankind for Washington to convince two nuclear powers that Washington is preparing a preemptive nuclear strike against them. It is impossible to imagine a more reckless and irresponsible act. Yet this is precisely what Washington has done.

Are We Being Prepped For War With North Korea?

At least on Fox News, the bent towards pushing for war has found an audience. A Fox News poll reported that 53 percent of those polled believed that military action would be necessary to deal with the threat from North Korea, and they were ok with the U.S. doing that.

But unlike the march to war in Iraq in 2003, the North Korea saga is not being advocated with the same breathless intensity that much of the White House press corps exhibited nearly fifteen years ago. In large part, today’s mainstream media has been Trump’s greatest critic and for many observers, the bluster over Pyongyang is almost considered an attempt to deflect from the myriad issues the new president is unable to escape because of constant coverage.

Why is North Korea Being So Unreasonable?

Why hasn’t the Kim Jong-Un regime responded with open arms and shouts of joy for this generous and fair-minded proposal from Uncle Sam?

Maybe it is because North Korea not only has first-hand knowledge of US “diplomacy,” but it can point to the grisly consequences that happen to regimes that do not have nuclear capabilities when they fall out of favor with Washington war mongers. Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria are just some recent examples.

Nor does North Korea have to look around the globe for what the US does to nations without nuclear arsenals, but can recall events which took place not so far away. For more than a decade, America mercilessly pulverized the little, defenseless country of Vietnam. Despite the destruction and mass murder inflicted, it was to no avail except, of course, to line the pockets of arms manufactures while American citizens were drained of their wealth and blood.

US-led air strikes on ISIS have killed 352 civilians, says the Pentagon as it admits 'regret' - but critics claim the number is at least THREE THOUSAND

At least 352 civilians have been killed in US-led strikes against ISIS targets in Iraq and Syria since 2014, the Pentagon said on Sunday.

The Combined Joint Task Force said they were still assessing 42 reports of civilian deaths in their monthly assessment of air attacks targeting the jihadists.

Senior officials added that 45 civilians were killed between November 2016 and March 2017.

It reported 80 civilian deaths from August 2014 to the present that had not previously been announced. The report included 26 deaths from three separate strikes in March.

But monitoring group Airwars said more than 3,000 civilians have been killed by coalition air strikes.

The Rise of the Generals

Who is behind the seeming conversion of Trump to hawk? The generals, Bibi Netanyahu and the neocons, Congressional hawks with Cold War mindsets, the Saudi royal family and the Gulf Arabs — they are winning the battle for the president's mind. But before President Trump proceeds along the path laid out for him by his generals, brave and patriotic men that they are, he should discover if any of them opposed any of the idiotic wars of the last 15 years, beginning with that greatest of strategic blunders — George Bush's invasion of Iraq.

In 100 Days, A New Jewish Elite Rises Under Trump

Among many moves aimed at reversing his predecessor’s policies, President Trump recently decided not to make public the White House visitors logs. Had they been open, the lists would reveal the profound change 100 days of a Trump administration had brought about to the Jewish community’s power structure.

“The atmosphere has changed, at least for us. There’s a sense of familiarity and greater receptivity and that makes a better atmosphere,” said Abba Cohen, vice president for federal affairs at Agudath Israel of America, a group representing the ultra-Orthodox stream.

In 100 Days, A New Jewish Elite Rises Under Trump

Liberal-leaning Jewish activists, once the backbone of communal advocacy, had been pushed aside in favor of a new elite made up of activists who are more conservative in their politics and more Orthodox in their religious practice. The new leaders representing American Jewish interests in the White House are keen to shape policy on education and religious expression and to ensure a pro-Israel stance more in line with the Netanyahu government.

Agudah may speak for a relatively small portion of the Jewish community, but it succeeded in landing the first White House meeting among all Jewish groups.

America’s War against the People of Korea: The Historical Record of US War Crimes

An armistice is an agreement by the warring parties to stop fighting. It does signify the end of war.

What underlies the 1953 Armistice Agreement is that one of the warring parties, namely the US has consistently threatened to wage war on the DPRK for the last 60 years.

The US has on countless occasions violated the Armistice Agreement. It has remained on a war footing. Casually ignored by the Western media and the international community, the US has actively deployed nuclear weapons targeted at North Korea for more than half a century in violation of article 13b) of the Armistice agreement.

The armistice remains in force. The US is still at war with Korea. It is not a peace treaty, a peace agreement was never signed.

North Korea supports non-nuclear world and owes USA nothing

Can Donald Trump strike a nuclear blow on North Korea (the DPRK)? The analysis of the situation shows that the US can not ignore the positions of Moscow and Beijing that stand strongly against the US attack on the territory of the DPRK. At the same time, Moscow has distanced itself from the North Korean regime by saying that Russia does not accept Pyongyang's nuclear adventures. Nevertheless, Moscow has also warned Washington about the inadmissibility of taking a military action.
